Obama’s Addictive Behavior

April 18, 2012 by

Obama’s Addictive Behavior
Voters must stage an intervention and kick Barack Obama out of office.

No U.S. President has spent more money and had less to show for it than President Barack Obama. Yet recent polls show Obama remains the odds-on favorite for the Presidential election in less than seven months.

That could all change if the greenback continues to weaken while U.S. stock indexes continue a major retreat for the first time in three years.

The U.S. economy is gravely ill, and the tepid recovery is living on borrowed time. The vexing question: Will Obama win before the next shoe drops?

The leading indicator of the economy is the direction of the stock market. An examination of stock charts indicates serious problems for U.S. stock indexes. That tells me that big money around the world is starting to bet against the recovery that began during Obama’s first term.

Gangster movies say you can always trust the word on the street. I don’t know much about being a gangster, but I have found that you can trust the word on Wall Street.

Meanwhile, unemployment remains far too high — even if you believe Washington’s numbers. Add in the underemployed and those who have given up looking for work, and the true unemployment rate for the United States is about 15 percent.

It is true that America crawled out of a depression that began in 2008 with hundreds of billions of dollars injected into the banks, but financial institutions have not been lending most of that money. As a result, the amount of money has been growing, but it is not circulating.

Economists call this the velocity of money. It simply means how fast money changes hands. The faster money moves, the better the economy is. In this way money is like a bullet. If a bullet has enough velocity, it will bring down an elephant. If it has hardly any velocity, it can’t kill a rabbit. With more than three years in office, the President has not encouraged people to lend or spend. The good news is his poor economic leadership puts a second term for the Obama Administration in peril.

Last week, The Washington Post wrote that while polls still favor Obama over GOP challenger Mitt Romney, the President faces a serious contest:

On the two most pressing issues of the campaign — the economy and jobs — the contest is considerably more competitive, with about as many trusting Romney on the issues as Obama. Despite positive economic indicators, Americans remain deeply pessimistic about the overall direction of the country and largely consider the economy still mired in a recession. The Romney campaign is hoping to take advantage by making the contest about Obama’s performance on these key concerns.

Obama’s overall approval rating stands at 50 percent, but he draws negative marks on how he has dealt with the economy and the recent increase in gasoline prices. Nearly half of all Americans say his handling of the economy is a major reason to oppose his reelection; far fewer see it as a big reason to support his bid.

Romney holds a double-digit lead over Obama on just one issue tested in the poll: who would better deal with the federal budget deficit.

Obama handles the Nation’s money the way Lindsay Lohan handles alcohol. Both have more celebrity status than talent, and neither can meet the challenges they face. In Lohan’s case it is an interesting melodrama that titillates the masses. Obama’s flaws might just starve the masses.

Of course, I don’t know Lohan personally. But I can guess that she starts her night on the town by ordering whatever she wants regardless of the costs. This is pretty harmless stuff unless she rams her car into some innocent driver.

And what did Obama do when he first stepped into the Oval Office? He ordered up Obamacare. Lohan is addicted to alcohol. Bill Clinton had issues with sex. Obama, however, is a social engineer spending our money to feed his fame addiction.

Last week, the GOP reported that instead of curbing government spending, Obamacare could add up to $530 billion to the Federal debt over 10 years. The study was done by Charles Blahous, a George Mason University research fellow and the Republican trustee for the Medicare and Social Security entitlement programs for the elderly. Blahous challenged the President’s assertion that the 2010 law would reduce healthcare costs.

The Obama Administration defended the law as a cost saver and sharply criticized the report, saying that it ignored all the benefits for the Nation.

Anyone who watches Dr. Drew on TV probably recognizes this as denial, something all addicts seem to have which is sometimes accompanied by delusions of grandeur.

Another signature of an addict is to repeat the same behavior and expect a different result. For almost four years, Obama has been building his new America around Obamacare. It hasn’t taken hold, and now the final arbitrator is the Supreme Court. The Justices will do to Obama exactly what Los Angeles judges have been doing to Lohan over the years: They will slap him on the wrist.

America Needs Intervention

When the Hollywood celebrity gets slapped, she goes back to the same bad behavior as before. To hell with everyone, she says.

The same will hold true for Obama. If he does not lose to Romney, he will go back to the same destructive behavior, the kind that will ruin the Nation — not simply the career of a once youthful and now washed-up movie star.

Make no mistake: If the President is not stopped, it will mean hard times — not for him, his family or the liberal elites, but for the Nation.

What I understand about addiction is that addicts have to get help. This means it is our obligation to help Obama. We have to help him lose in November so the Nation can heal.

If that doesn’t happen and Obama is re-elected, then God help us. If he retakes the White House, he undoubtedly will appear on television sets around the world proclaiming the famous Charlie Sheen chant: “Still winning!”

Yours in good times and bad,

God help us if EITHER Obama or Romney get elected.

    • http://none Claire

DaveH–You are so correct. I have to add this–if people think Romney is the cure, then there is no hope. Romney is a flip-flopper–he is not an honest man, and certainly not sincere.

      • Tom W.

Excellent points both of ya!!! God help us! Mitt is sooo plastic that he’ll melt under the heat of the position of POTUS! The first thing Barack did when he moved into the White House was a harbinger of what he TRULY is. He packed up the marble bust of arguaby (Uh oh, here we go!!!) one of the greatest men in history, Winston Churchill, and sent it back to Jolly Ole’ who had given it to us for our partisipation in the saving of their country and the overthrow of Nazi Germany in WWII!!! It wasn’t Winston who was responsible for the colonization of Kenya, or the torture of his socialist grandfather by the British during the Kenyan revolt!

Welcome to the idiot democrats. You have been brainwashed.

“For every subtle and complicated question there is a perfectly simple and straightforward answer which is WRONG!” H.L. Mencken

Mr. Myers, another wonderful pointless offering. Well, not really pointless…..a slight change of tactics, from ad hominum to ad feminum or feminae? Seriously? Better be careful, someone is poaching your well developed sources “inside” the oil and gas industry……

Still let’s see if we can make this a teaching moment with the one thing you did say…… today’s distraction, that might provide some insight into the actual reality of things.
“Economists call this the velocity of money. It simply means how fast money changes hands. The faster money moves, the better the economy is.”

Unfortunately, that is way too simply put to be of any use, except in the sense that it seems to suggest causality ……in support of your identification of the culprit……
To clarify: Velocity of Money; pre digital age. Bank lends money, say a mortgage, borrower pays seller, seller deposits money, bank + using fractional reserve requirements, multiplies money and relends, etc, etc. Bank collects fees and interest……while inflation occurs and potential bubble builds……this is stagecoach velocity……or train. Now add, stock brokers and margins, and we get an increase to 1929 speed.

Present day velocity went super sonic, adding mortagage brokers, hedge funds, investment banks and unregulated derivatives, or financially engineered products………and this last bit, was based on the fantasy of minimizing, or in the case of the “nobel winners” who postulated it, eliminating risk. Which is a fallacy as old as and equivalent to the gamblers fallacy and martingale systems…..

So now we get to correct your conclusion……just a slight adjustment really, but a critical one. The faster money moves, the better the economy APPEARS to be.

Finally, let’s do a realistic comparison regarding the fear mongering here…….we’ll just skip the 530 billion dollar number and go with worse case of 1.5 trillion a year for ten years, which will mean that Federal Debt would be 200% of current GDP, or 30 Trillion.
That really sounds scary, huh? But wait……there are 971 TRILLION in “finacially engineered derivatives” totally unregulated, and market driven……..from which both “fees and profits” have been extracted….which can be used for all manner of fraudulent purposes, most especially, the manipulation of corporate profits and control, so that things are not what they appear to be………

If nothing else, the math here is simple…….and Obama ain’t your problem……. but Romney might be…….course none of this lunacy compares with the notion of How YOU can PROFIT from the coming COLLAPSE? Until next time……

“The most common of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind.”H.L. Mencken

In the spirit of “limited government” and “equal JUSTICE under law”,

Where are the common law and equity courts?

        • RichE

          …and leverage is an accelerant.

      • Flashy

And mass is also an equal part of the equation with velocity. Depends on those holding the cash if they want to trash the dollar and devalue thier holdings or if they want to slowly bring it back into the investment system

Doesn’t make sense that the entire mass of dollars out there would be dumped into the system in a short time period…why would anyone want to purposely devalue holdings ? certainly not China…they aren’t suicidal…

      • GALT

Yes it ARE! I didn’t mention “leverage” specifically, simply the forms that it takes, margins, insurance, etc.

The interesting observation is, regardless of the velocity the end result is always the same, irrational exuberance ending in panic…….so much for rational self interest, which only appears to work…….in between the extremes……when the illusion of order takes hold.

Much of this has to do with the fact that “economics” does not actually qualify as a discipline of any kind…….even when some micro economic concepts appear valid, like supply and demand…..they are quickly countered by things like the point of diminishing returns…..and in the attempted application to a specific market,, all manner of contradictions appear. Like all mythologies…..the priests usually are the ones to profit.

The creator of this faith, Adam Smith began with this sequence……barter to money to credit…….and the logic of this is a call to “imagine” a barter economy, which is self fullfilling
but unsupported by any evidence. Actual evidence demonstrates that the progression is
completely reversed… to money to barter……

What constitutes “money” is also a bit nebulous… it a.) a commodity b.) a medium of exchange or c.) debt?

Please watch for the ubiquitous von mises links as argument…..take it away DavidH….

        • RichE

Bubbles accelerate at their end. Take away the leverage and there will be fewer bubble bursts.

      • GALT

Obviously……but somewhat irrelevant, since the bubble itself is imaginary….so the best solution is to prevent bubbles, failing that to bust them while they’re small, etc.

This is kind of difficult to do……ponzi dreams are always better than reality, and easy is preferable to hard…..selling easy is EASY…….look at this site…..

        Simple minds……simple solutions…..magical thinking.

        • RichE

“the bubble itself is imaginary…. ” I’m not sure what you mean.
You control bubbles by controlling leverage.
Are you classifying Ponzi schemes as bubbles?
          Bubbles are leverage inflated risk.

      • restorefreedom

The only answer is Ron Paul get a clue.

      • GALT

Okay…let’s do a bubble……Tulips are REALLY cool…… you should buy tulips…last week, DavidH bought a HOUSE for 15 tulip bulbs, and John Myer’s started a news letter promising to reveal inside sources on the tulip futures market…..mean while…..

      • Willow

Romney was not my original first choice either, however I now believe he may be just what the country needs at this time in history. Obviously, the debt and spending is the number 1 priority, which is where his expertise is.
What eveidence do you have that he is dishonest?

      • http://google debbie

we dems r NOT brain washed all u republican r the ones. if we did not have all theses tea party fanatics in the house ,do u not think obama could have gotten the country in better shape? they r always saying no and i resent the people who says race has nothing 2 do with it i am white .

        • Ed

Debbie, you are wrong and brain washed. The House is doing it’s job to pass legislation to create jobs, see below:

Obama has nothing to show for his time in office other than a massive health care bill that is about to be struck down and 2% decrease in payroll tax that is used to fund social security. The Senate has not down its job to bring the bill to the floor for a vote. If you want to assign blame look at the White(red)house and the do nothing Senate led by Hairless Reid. Don’t blame the tea party Republicans in the House. Go back to watching MSNBC and smoking dope.

Getting accurate information about Obama is as difficult as getting accurate information about vaccines and cancer. The truth is out there, but never publihed in mainstream media so very few people are aware of it. Worse, the cover-ups for all these topics are written about constantly, meaning people see them frequently so they start to believe them. For example, if the American Cancer Society was really searching for a cure for cancer, why have they spent hundreds of billions of dollars over the past 50 years, yet have nothing close to a cure. Worse, cancer is poised to become our #1 killer, and that’s not because there were improvements in heart disease treatments. People blindly keep believing the Amer. Cancer Soc. is working hard to help them. People blindly believe Obama is a great guy with a great smile and is very likeable. The truth couldn’t be further from this fairy tale. Obama is a vindictive, heartless man with a sordid past. How stupid is the American public? Obama wrote about his sordid past and his disdain for capitalism in his books, yet no one has read them and they believe what the media spoonfeeds them.

      • blaki02

Great talking points and totally agree – not enough people are exposed to the real truth. Suggestion is: For all my conservative friends, I forward information as it’s exposed. They’re the first ones in the To: box. Then I add all those liberals to the list. I ask my friends and family to pass these things on. The more the American people see information on how bad this POTUS is, hopefully the more they’ll be informed, and then actually vote accordingly.

      • deogun

I totally disagreed with you. Look into the mirror. If you like what see, this maybe good for you. If you are honest and don’t like what you see, you definetly NEED HELP.As having lived in this country for over 35 years, I have come to NOTE that most GOP/TEA PARTY cannot look into the mirror without shaterring the mirror. It is sad. Do you know how many Americans that committed sucide because of satanic, eveil irresponsible policies of the Republican Party. You want to impose yourselves on the majority. Mam, it’s not going to happen. Democrats will rule this country for ever

      • Kate8

Ellen – You are so right.

I learned awhile back that “cancer research”, as well as many other large charities, are nothing more than fronts for raising huge amounts of money to fund covert projects. It is not used to find cures for anything.

Much of it no doubt goes to finding new ways to promote deadly disease. Cancer is induced in the population to cull the numbers, as is the disease-state in general.

Our whole system is a cancer, through and through.

      • DaveH

Just when I think the Liberal comments can’t get any more inane, along comes Deogun.

      • Donald York

This Deogun fella must be from Kenya or some other muslim country. He is talking crazy. He has been in this country 35 years? He sure has had his brain scrambled in that short period of time. I was born and raised in this country. I am 66 years old, i’ve seen a lot of politicians come and go over the years, and i have never seen anyone as bad as Hussein Obama in my life. If you people come into our country from some other communist, God forsaken country and think you are going to change our way of life, you are dreaming palsy. Obama is trampling on our constitution ands people are’nt going to take it much longer. Deogun, or whatever your name is, you better get on the winning side. We are coming to throw this marxist out of office, along with Neutering Harry Reid, and spaying Nancy Pelosi. REIGN ON TEA PARTY!!!!

      • Sam

There is a cure for Cancer. Check out a place in Houston TX. called the bruzynski Research Institute. I have been hearing about this Dr since 1984. He found that Cancer patients lacked certian amino acids he calls anti-neoplastons, By replacing these amino acids he got a 87% stop growth with 97% of those whent into remittion and cancer free.
The Cancer society is a 5 and 1/2 billion dollar a year busieness that produces nothing a cure would stop all that fun. The FDA is owned by big Pharmacuticles with chemo and radiation to test the limits of human suffering. Not to mention getting paid for instuments of torture.
Dr Bruzynski’s treatment is safe and virtually nontoxic. It works really well on most all cancers if caught early, And it is really cost effective enough to be used to prevent Cancer. Yet the FDA has his practice confined to Houston only. Now here’s the reall clincher you cannot order your prescription and have it mailed to you, you have to buy it there.

Check it out it is all there at your fingertips

P.S. The stats for conventional treatment is in the single digits.

      • Willow

I agree, he is a liar, a thief, a fraud and, at best a socialist. He is purposely ruining this country.

      • http://none Richard Pawley

Well said, Ellen! Hitler wrote about what he was going to do in his book Mein Kampf and it is one of the perennial best sellers in the land of Islam. I don’t know if the president has ever read it but he seems to have come upon one of the tactics that Hitler believed in: If you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it. There’s a new thin book (or booklet) out called “The 69 Lies of Obama” and he repeats some of these over and over. Unfortunately even if he is sent home to Chicago and the Senate remains in Democratic hands little will change.

The amount of money that the Democratic Congress has spent from 2006 until now – I still consider the congress to be Democrat because the budgets have all been on automatic since Obama took over and no yearly budget has been passed – will result in at least 250% inflation. If Obama gets elected in November this will likely all happen before Los Angeles is destroyed in the coming Great Earthquake. If Romney gets elected he may be able to keep this train on the tract for a few more years and the inflation will be more gradual (but food and fuel are still going to triple) and this is why many are becoming interested in what is usually called “food storage”. If the EU tanks you can almost count on prices doubling just as a result of that. At this late date I see no solution but a much leaner and harder life for the whole planet, but it will be especially hard on Americans who have been blessed with so much and most just took it for granted.

Actually there is one solution but we are not the caliber of people we once were and I cannot say if it will be tried. Granted there are even a handful in congress who are decent honest people but it takes more than a handful to undue the damage that has already been done. Only a return to God and Godly values, the basic teachings of the Bible, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” “the ten commandments” and with millions praying that our nation can be saved, it just might be. Will that happen? Most, don’t even realize the train is racing down the mountain, the breaks have failed, and progressives keep thinking, “what a wonderfully fast ride”. It is fast too, but the crash at the bottom will be unlike anything the USA has ever seen or can even imagine.

As many as 3,000,000 a year may be jumping ship as they see where the Titanic USA is headed under this administration and they are leaving the country. A decade ago only 200,000 to 300,000 a year were leaving. Between 2002 and 2003 it is estimated that the country lost 100,000 millionaires – and that was during good times. Many billionaires have moved their companies off-shore too to avoid paying the insane taxes they must, now the highest in the world. If the Progressives keep pushing for higher taxes as they have all my life, there won’t be many rich left and then the middle class will be paying all the taxes the rich pay now, and soon they will be joining the poor and then Obama will have succeeded in his idea of fairness, making everyone equal: all poor!

By the way, there are many cures for cancer but congress and/or the bureaucrats have passed laws that make it illegal for a doctor in the United States to even tell you about them or he can lose his medical license and even go to jail. Most of these are natural. Clinics in other countries use things that cannot be used here because there in no big profit in them. If you eat and drink what most Americans eat and drink you will get the diseases that most Americans get, and far worse untreatable diseases that are increasing with the unchecked illegal aliens. From Chargas Disease to Leprosy, from MRSA to untreatable but easily spread TB, all across America diseases that most doctors have no clue about are showing up (they are learning but many are dying). If you ever get cancer you need to do what the cancer doctors do or what President Ronald Reagan did (though his people will not affirm or deny it) go to one of the ten clinics in Germany that are actually curing cancer. Cancer doctors who get cancer would never submit to the typical treatment that is given to the uninformed masses in the USA and which for the most part does nothing but make a fortune for certain elitists in congress and the pharmaceutical industry.

We need a George Washington but we no longer deserve someone like him. If we had his moral values the country could not even have gotten into the shape it is in. Thomas Jefferson said he feared a central bank more than a standing army. We had a central bank from about 1816 to 1836 and again starting in 1913 when the mostly foreign owned Federal Reserve Bank was started by a progressive Democrat, Woodrow Wilson. Since it was given the congressional responsibility of taking care of the money, the dollar has lost over 95%of it’s value. A dollar today won’t buy what a dime would buy before the Vietnam War. People used to pick up a penny but now some won’t even get their quarter back from a shopping cart. It costs over 2 cents to make once cent pieces even when they are made out of zinc instead of copper and no major country in the world has a bill as worthless as the U.S. dollar (some even use $5 coins).

To much to tell. It’s why I wrote two books. My advice to believers: Pray like this will be the most important election of your life, in less than seven months, but learn about food storage too, because you will save a great deal of money if you have a few months worth of food on hand when it all hits the fan. I doubt if it is going to be the end of the world as some think but it is going to be the end of many things as we have known them and the millions depending on the government to support them with other people’s money are really going to be impoverished when the progressives get through. Sometimes it almost makes me glad that I had no kids who would have to grow up in what the United States has morphed into.

For those who don’t understand why some keep saying “anyone but Obama” the reason is that if Obama is elected in November he will likely appoint another justice of the supreme court who does not believe in the constitution and all that we are experiencing now will continue for a generation or more! May God help us because if He doesn’t, soon (5 years? Two?) no one else is going to be able to do so. Those who reject a relationship with Him are really going to be up the creek as they say in the south!

You have no idea on how our current government is killing us! I look up to the heavens every day to see the spraying of all of humanity, the poisoning of all of America every day!

Galt, you anti-American, anti-Christ, anti-God, prove me wrong freak!
Why are you not going mad like your brothers ( rev al sharpton ) about this?

Updated 04/17/2012 at 10:20 p.m. ET: A newborn abducted in the parking lot of a pediatric clinic Tuesday has been found safe, the Houston Chronicle reported. His mother was shot dead during an altercation with a woman who then snatched the child and drove off with him.
Police have detained a person of interest.
The mother, Kala Marie Golden, 28, of Spring, Tex., had taken her 3-day-old son, Keegan Schuchardt to the clinic for a checkup, authorities told the Chronicle.
The Chronicle reported that Golden was getting into her red pickup truck when she and another woman, wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans, started to argue. The woman then pulled a gun and repeatedly shot Golden, who cried out, “My baby, my baby.”
The shooter placed the baby in her car as Golden lurched forward, trying to grab back her child. The shooter was described as thin, in her late 20s or early 30s, African American and with gold-colored hair.

A man was in the passenger’s seat, witnesses told reporters.
The car, a light green or sky blue Lexus with blood stains, knocked down Golden as it drove off, the Associated Press reported. Golden was transported to a hospital where she died of her wounds, the Chronicle reported.
Baby Keegan, who is white with brown hair, wore a green-and-white onesie with the word, “handsome,” the AP reported.
Galt you evil scum! this is your people!
God bless America and those who fight for her!!!!

deogun: If you really knew God you would not be so critical of others.
Knowing God changes one’s heart. Jesus even said that there would be those whose faith would be so great that they would work miracles but that he would say to them on the last day, “Depart from me. I know you not!”
In the wonderful book GOD CALLING, easily obtainable on eBay, one of the 360 plus short teachings Jesus gave to a woman in England before WWII was that when she and her friend prayed according to God’s will they could change the laws of parliament, without leaving their kitchen.
I recommend this book in both of mine. The point is that God hates
no one, not even the Muslims. Jesus said not to hate even your enemies. One of the laws of the Universe is gravity. You don’t have to believe in gravity for it to work. It is a basic principle. Another basic principle is sometimes called The Law of Reciprocity, “what you do unto others will be done unto you.” The prayers of an informed Christian praying with another of like mind and spirit are the most powerful force on earth. Pray for your perceived enemies and God will change them and you too. To many people these days want to be their own God and we know from Lucifer how well that turns out.

    • BlackwingA520

Yeah, but if Obummer gets back in to “RULE” it will be even worse than the first term because he will be a lame duck and have nothing to lose. If that happens I hope you have enough money to move somewhere else because you won’t even recognize this Country.

      • JUKEBOX

I wonder if anyone has noticed how Happy Obama always seems to be, smiling and waving to the adoring dumb masses. The only time he has a serious moment is when someone asks an embarrasing question that he has no answer for.

      • Joseph Murphy

There are foolish Democrats posting on here. Want to know how bad Obama is, then read “The Manchurian President”. If you happen to be a Christian and you think Obama is also a Christian, then know this, Obama says Jesus was a nice person. He does not believe Jesus is the Son of God or God The Son. If he is re=elected, then he will be Dictator of the U.S. Heck, he may even find away to cancel the election. As you can see, I do not like the man. Our church members were warned in 2008, by Muslims, who had turned to Jesus, that Obama is a Muslim. If Muslims were to ever find those people who warned us, then they will probably be killed.

      • Joseph Murphy

For posters, who do not know our constitution. Here is a course you can take over the Internet. I’m proud to report that we have over 200,000 citizens signed up for “Constitution 101” – but wouldn’t it be great if even more Americans were studying the Constitution during this important year for our country?

That’s why I’m writing to ask if you might take a few minutes to share Hillsdale’s free “Constitution 101” online course with five friends?

If you, along with each of your 200,000 “classmates,” share this free online course with five friends, we could have over 1 million people studying the Constitution. And remember, the lectures are archived, so newly registered students can take the course from the beginning

    • Void1972

      God help us?
      Which God would that be?
Would you prefer a Islamist, Communist, White America hating extortionist to a Moral, hardworking business man who loves America and all it stands for?
Keep on whining about Paul and try to turn as many of your atheist friends (I’m sure most are liberals already) against the only chance we have at saving this nation, and you will reap what you Sow!
God bless America and those who fight for her!!!!

      • DaveH

Take your blinders off, Void. Obama is just the tip of the iceberg. If you would read “A History of Money and Banking in the United States”, you might wake up to the fact that the majority of the Leaders are playing us for fools and taking advantage of us.
It all depends on whether you advocate the quick trip to 3rd World Status, or the slower, but just as certain trip.
Obama has unwittingly and unintentionally energized many of the formerly apathetic citizens to start a quest for the knowledge of Freedom. And for that, I thank him.

      • speedle

Dave, I suggest you are the one who should take the blinders off. The reality is what we have is a choice between Romney and Obama, and anyone who says they are in any pertinent manner “compatible” is delusional. Obama is a Marxist/Socialist/Statist. Romney is a moderate/conservative Republican who will listen to conservative and even libertarian ideas. Get over it and get with the program, or we all go down.

      • eddie47d

Some issues takes us down with Democrats and some issues take us down with Republicans. I think Romney is much slicker and conniving than Obama yet both have major faults.

      • Kate8

speedle – You are not up to speed(le) on your research.

Dig a little deeper. You’ll find what many of us have realized: the Left/Right paradigm was set up to make us THINK we have a choice.

The truth is, both O and R are funded by the same global corporations. Just as they fund all sides of all wars.

If you think Romney would reverse anything that Obama has put in place, you are the delusional one. Both of them follow the same agenda: the NWO. They serve the same masters.

      • speedle

Yeah Kate. Better look in the mirror. I think your tin foil hat is a bit askew.

    • vanessa

but the point is which of the 2 evils is less? I’ll take Mitt

      • DaveH

Mitt may be the lesser of two evils, Vanessa, but how do you expect ever to have a Principled Government if we keep electing evil — no matter how lesser?

    • wandamurline

If I have to choose….I would choose Romney….at least he has run a business as Obama has no management or business experience and has been on the tax payer teet for his entire life….he was an attorney for 18 months before surrendering his license. I would vote for Mickey and Minnie Mouse before I cast one for Obama. Obama has a need for attention…it is called psychotic narcissim….nothing is important unless it is something he wants….he ignores laws…he ignores judges….his path is all that concerns him. This is why he is on the late night shows and always has his mouth running….HE needs to be the essence of everything. This is truly scarry to have someone who needs to be psychiatrically evaluated as a person with a mental disease to be running the country and be in charge.

      • DaveH

There are much better alternatives than voting for Romney, who will just continue the fleecing of the American Citizens, but probably more slowly and less perceptively.
If Ron Paul runs 3rd Party, you could vote for him. Or, if not, you could vote for the Libertarian Candidate (Gary Johnson?). In that manner you would be voting for Freedom, which may not prevail in this election, but it would definitely be given more exposure to the unaware.
To vote for somebody who will just continue the status quo is just throwing away your vote because you can’t expect Freedom from candidates who don’t advocate it.

        • Ed

A vote for any candidate other than Romney is a vote for Obama.

      • speedle

Dave, you will then be relegated to a barking dog in the distance night. You will have no influence and you will have the relevance of a buzzing fly. The primaries are over and it is time for us to make sure that Obama and his ilk leave the government.

      • Flashy

Actually…DaveH has a point. though maybe not the one he was thinking of.

Face it…Obama is going to be re-elected. It will be close and the media will hype it day after day…but in the end, a Romney win would outdo the Miracle ’69 Mets. And that ain’t gonna happen.

But…if Ron paul garners a significant portion of the overall vote…say in the 8-10% range…THAT will turn a few heads in DC. Far more than an Obama win. However, if Paul only has 4-5%…then the Obama victory will be viewed by DC as the message and path to follow.

Right now, it’s coming down to what message you want to give to the DC crowd…

      • speedle

Nice try Flashy, but no sale. I see you are trying to encourage the “Paul or nothing” mentality in hopes that a third party effort would assure the reelection of the Chicago gangster. Even though you are correct that such 3rd party nonsense would do just that, you seem to be trying to talk yourself into the inevitability of the ganster’s reelection. I am thinking that his best chance of being reelected was about 2 months ago (when all reporting was about the shortcomings of the GOP candidates). I am afraid it’s going to be all downhill from here on in for the party of Statism.

      • DaveH

So Speedle, say you want to get from point A to point B due North. How long would it take you to get there if you traveled Northeast?
We ARE NOT going to get Principled Government until we get buying the establishment Propaganda and start voting only for Principled Politicians like Ron Paul. I’ve been listening to the same old lesser of two evils crap for 40 years now, and Government just keeps getting bigger while our Freedoms keep getting smaller.
How many times are you going to do the same thing over and over hoping for different results?

      • DaveH

“get buying”? Sometimes my fingers just do as they damn well please (like the Politicians).
        I meant “quit buying”.

      • Kate8

DaveH – Love your response to speedle.

From what I’ve been getting, there are going to be a whole lot of folks who previously held their noses and voted for the “lesser evil”, voting their conscience this time around.

The lesser evil is still evil, and a vote for evil is still selling out. Has it ever worked so far?

We’d have a lot better chance of winning if people would just take some courage (and faith) and take the plunge for Ron Paul. Lots of folks aren’t going to be intimidated into compromising anymore, because they have had it with the status quo.

Do we want more of the same, or do we want some common sense for a change? By voting for either corporatist shill, we are saying that we don’t really want sensible and Constitutional government.

Like DaveH says, we won’t get different results until we do something different.

      • DaveH

        Thank you, Kate.

    • Capitalist at Birth

Exactly who do you really think has a chance of defeating Obama?

      • Flashy

Huntsman would have been the best of the original group. Now? Romney hasn’t a chance…

      • eddie47d

Romney has lots of charm to go along with all his money. If all money trails lead to Washington then his Presidency ought to restock Ft Knox.

      • Tom W.

The Dynamic Duo, Buttman and Swallow!

    • Robert Greeley

Not natural-born, illegal, doctored birth certificate, fraud, perjury, didn’t legally change his name back from Barry Soetero to Obama, was about to be kicked off the Georgia ballot, bribed them with 2 nuclear plants, presto, the Ga. Sec. of State declares he is Natural-born. This is impossible but happened. The other 11 or so challenges will probably mean more bribes and illegal help from State liberal judges. His treasonous deal with Putin, indicating MORE flexibility after the election; this after giving Russia 7 islands with great oil potential. Russia has never changed from her goal of ruling America. This traitor is helping them by bankrupting us and reducing our nuclear advantage and armed forces. His telling George Stephanopolis “My Muslim faith” was NOT an accident. Another impossible stunt by ourposing, positioning, dangerous socialist, communist President. Throw in bomber Ayres and an America-hating preacher for 20 years and if you are not alarmed, you deserve having to learn Russian; that is if the Muslims don’t get us first. Our great Congress does nothing to expose and control this maniac. Impeach him now. We can’t afford to wait. I have no money otherwise I would file and challenge him in all the other States because he cannot prove he is eligible. ANYONE, especially other candidates should do this and he must comply.

      • Ed

No, we cannot impeach him! We must disqualify him as President. That way all of his actions will be null and void. I sure would like to turn the clock back to 2008 and remove all actions Obummer has taken to ruin our Country.

      • Jack Howell

        Amen you are exactly right.

      • THG 1956

Well put Robert , you covered most of it , but it would take a book to tell it all. I live in Georgia and for a few weeks I walked around with my chest bowed out and my head held high . Then I received the shock of my life.

      • Jan

Robert, here is a link with that Kenya birth certificate:
BUT-the problem is, the government is so currupt and evil (almost all of congress) that even though, all kinds of people have to know about this document, no one is doing anything about it. The reason the media does not run it is because most of the media is run by the Illuminati

Another Disney brat that has gone bonkers!!! Such a physically BEAUTIFUL young woman too!!! Let me tell you grandparents something that you don’t want to hear, there’s none more guilty of indoctrinating our children into witchcraft and the gay agenda than Walt Disney studios. They’ve been tuning our little girls into princes and our boys into princesses for eight decades or so. Jesus says that you can tell whether a tree is good or evil by the fruit it produces. (Matt. 7:17) So let’s take a look at some of the Disney fruit; Michael Jackson, so taken with Disneyworld, that he built his own Never-never Land. Brittney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Milie Cyruss, and I’m sure there’s probably a few others. Oversexed, narcistic, middle-aged infants who refuse to grow up. Well I guess I can’t say that about Michael anymore, now can I? And Disney does it in such a cute way. Have you watched the Disney channel lately? It’s not Ole’ Yeller anymore folks. Their mask is starting to come off. Is this what you call wholesome family entertainment? You hav’nt noticed? It’s all about me, me, me! (Isaiah 14:12-15) And don’t listen to your parents, you know that you’re smarter than they are. I wonder if Al Gore was a mouseketeer?

He wasn’t self proclaimed Hap, The MSM strawed the streets of DC with palm branches as he rode in on the DNC donkey hollaring at the top of their lungs, ” Osana, Osana, blessed is he who comes in the name of wealth redistribution!!!”

      • Shortstock

      • nc

Tom, could the 70 million Americans who voted for the Democtat who were lining the streets really have been saying ,”Here comes the representative of the party OTHER than than the one we just had that lied us into war and gave us a fiscal policy that they promised would work but really left us with the second worst recession in our history.”

Could that have been what was really being said??

      • DaveH

NC says — “could the 70 million Americans who voted for the Democtat who were lining the streets really have been saying ,”Here comes the representative of the party OTHER than than the one we just had that lied us into war and gave us a fiscal policy that they promised would work but really left us with the second worst recession in our history?”

Maybe, NC, but surely by now they should realize that nothing has changed in those respects.

      • SunnieD

This one’s for nc: Please pay attention! The DEMON-RATS were in control of Congress at the time and all were in agreement and supported this – until they weren’t! With few notable exceptions, they have been in control of the country since WWII! They are the ones who have gotten us into this mess, one degree at a time!

      • Tom W.

Dubya is not the president anymore nc, besides that, I’ve never been a big Dubya fan either! Any US president who would dare kiss the Saudi king, I don’t know any more y’all! I take it pretty much that everyone who posts here is over 50, what would our grandparents have said about some of the shinanigans they do today! It’s amazing how much the world has changed in the last 50 yrs.!!!

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” – Daniel 12:1-4 (KJV)

  • Sirian

The general attitude amongst the majority is without question against Obummer but as long as the electorate can be manipulated it is very difficult to predict as to exactly how the November election will turn out. Between the typical Chicago thuggery, COWS and Unions (SEIU/AFL-CIO) coupled to the fact that a company based out of Spain (Scytl) will be handling the November election vote count should give pause to everyone. An extreme possibility now exists that the election is already in the pre-staging phase of being rigged in favor of Obummer. This bit of info will not be aired on any of the MSM as a true concern – they are too deeply involved in misdirection, manipulation and withholding the truth. Obummer is the most narcissistic egocentric president this nation has ever had in office. It has been proven time after time as to his total inability and complete ineptness – such a robust economy we have based on the highest deficit that has ever been. There are a vast number of Alinskyites as well as Marxist’s, Communists, Fascists and Anarchists (Bill Ayers) surrounding him and much more involved behind the scenes (Soros) than the general populace realize. They, the radicals, Farrakhan included, will go to any lengths necessary. The reasoning of radicals is beyond the hope of any cure – psychological or otherwise. Watch for a major occurrence to take place – once, twice perhaps even three times before November. The Martin/Zimmerman case is merely a precursor to one of many. Hold on very tightly to your faith, your Bible and most of all – our Constitution! Watch closely – Watch Very Closely.

    • merid

don’t understand how Zimmerman gets a fair trial with EVERY commentater having declared him guilty. This country has become run by the media and we know where they stand….not for fairness to all…I am not declaring him innocent, just believe in justice for all.

They’re doing what they are best at, never let a good disaster go… I forget exactly how O’s boyfriend put it, but it’s straight out of their playbook! It’d be nice to own some gun stock in Nov. 2012 if Barry doe’s get re-elected!!! Thhey’ll probably double those of last Black Fri.!!!

      • eddie47d

I have read that you cannot entirely trust Snopes anymore when it comes to politics or anything involving Obummer.

    • Shortstock

Obummer is nothing but a puppet – Soros is pulling his strings, and many others.

    • Joseph Murphy

Sirian, you have added verification to my thoughts. i know that this man is no good for America. Christians must pray very hard for God’s help. I am afraid that God has decided to punish America for turning away from him. Our weekly Bible study at church is now reading through “Revelations”. Have we reached that point?

      • Tom W.

No Joseph, but I believe that we’re FAST approaching that point! The Church could be snatched outta here tomorrow! (1st Cor. 15:51-57) Then the prophecies of Rev. ch. 4-22 can take place, all the signs are in place, and it is my solemn prayer that everyone whom reads this post is saved! Because it truly could happen tomorrowi Is your lamp trimed and BURNING?!! (Matt. 25:1-13) Because if you’re not lookin’ up (Luke 21:28), you SURELY to GOD must be BLIND!!! (II Cor. 4:3&4) Surely you don’t want to be TOLD to go hang-out with the GOATS!!!! (Matt. 25:31-46) Keep your eyes on the skies everybody, JEESUS IS COMIN’! He loves y’all and so do I!!!
        He stands at the door and knocks, won’t you let Him in?! Do you know Him as your personal Lord and Savior?!! If not would ya like to? It’s as easy as simply bowing your head right where you’re at and sincerely praying this prayer;
Lord, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He came and died to pay the penalty for the sins that I have committed. I ask You to forgive me, and to give me the gift of eternal life You promised. Come into my life, and cause me to be born again. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer and meant it with your entire heart, know that He did come into your heart and now you’re ready for whatever this ole’ world has to throw at ya!!! Hallelujah!
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” – II Tim. 3:1-5
Folks, I challange you to find a better description of the human race today ANYWHERE!!!
        Luke 21:28 (KJV)
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Sorry president cheney and his right hand meat puppet dub-ya have spent MORE money, have had MORE job losts than President Obama.

where are you facts? Furthermore, Cheney was Vice President.

      • Karolyn

You don’t get the satire? Cheney was the puppetmaster.

      • Mary

Where are your facts? Give us some statistics. What we need to do is put a Congress in there that will have the balls to call a halt to his activities. Right now we need to get rid of Harry Reid in the Senate. He’s the one that is holding a lot of progress up. I blame Congress a lot for letting him get away with the things he is doing.

      • Ron

I saw Dubya give multiple 15-20 minute State of the Union Addresses, with a teleprompter, and still managed to sound like it was the first time he’d ever read the thing.

President Cheney repeatedly appeared on Meet the Press and similar shows in the run-up to the “Decider-In-Chief’s War” (also known as the “War President’s War”) and could, without notes, speak for 45 minutes at a clip, on the policies of the “Bush Administration”.

I may be a dumb hillbilly, but I know who was running America’s government following the coup d’etat of 2000. Cheney was up to conniving shenanigans clear back in the Nixon Administration–that other great Honest American President.

While we’re at it–could you at least do the honorable thing and see if you can grovel up to President Cheney and ask him, please, to release to the American people the minutes of his secret “National Security” meetings with the heads of American oil companies immediately after seizing power? Within a short time, he had America embroiled in the longest war in American history, gas prices blew through the roof, and have never come down since?

OF COURSE Cheney was President. And you guys all gazed menacingly at anyone who wouldn’t sign that nitwit’s $4-trillion dollar blank check to war and said we were all America-hating traitors.

We love the United States of America.
We just hate the Confederate States of America.

And though you may succeed in overthrowing America–’cause you got all the guns and all the hatred–rest assured:

The American people will NEVER ‘welcome you as liberators’, no matter how many of us you kill.

    • Giulie Garland

Agreed. The downturn of America really happened during the willy-nilly spending and two unnecessary wars of the Bush Administration.
Comparing President Obama to Lindsay Lohan is about as idiotic as I’ve ever seen. Are any politicians perfect? No. But Romney is certainly not going to be the answer to turning things around any faster than our current President.

      • Shane

Giulie Garland, you’re so right. Bush also set the charges in the towers before they went down. Papa Bush just before world war two and pearl harbor, sold the harbor maps and battleship locations to the japs in early november 1941. Gee Giulie Garland, you’re so smart.

      • Tom W.

I can hear Joe McCarthy now… I tried to tell y’all!!!

      • DaveH

Both parties and their sycophantic followers are complicit in destroying our once Free Country.

      • Sharr

Actually, Giulie, it was Bill Clinton and the lame duck Congress that passed a boondoggle on the way out the door that GWB inherited. What a “gift”!!! They merged banking and commerce and let him take a fall for it. Why it has not been reversed it is anyone’s guess.
Maybe repealing Obamacare could be first and then this could be second. With all of these
defaults, swaps, derivatives, shorts, naked shorts, and other “creative” manuvers going on it is a wonder the country is still standing at all. And it started with your favorite blue dress guy, Bill Clinton.

      • Flashy

Charr…what was the title of that bill? And the sponsors ? Clinton signed it…but who wrote and pushed for passage ?

    • Shane

Shane, makes me think of Alan Ladd as Shane. Shane enters the bar and there is Obama played by Jack Palance. The shootout occurs and Shane saves America.

Spot on Karolyn. We are duped into wars by our masters in Washington on a regular basis and that includes Republicans and Democrats. The big doozies of coarse have been Iraq and Afghanistan so we have been lied to and betrayed by the whole darn bunch of them. • DaveH

The Politicians are NOT puppets. They are complicit and responsible for the degradation of our Freedom and our Prosperity. At any time they could stop the carnage if they really wanted to. Ron Paul, for instance, has chosen not to participate in screwing the public. The rest could have also if they weren’t too busy feathering their own nests at the citizens’ expense.

      • Kate8

Another great point, DaveH. Politicians make the choice to betray their country.

I do not doubt for one moment that they are threatened and blackmailed in order to insure their compliance with the corporatist thugocracy, but many are easily bribed, as well.

It would seem that if a few of them came clean and went public with what goes on behind the scenes, it would blow wide open.

Unfortunately, government attracts those who will protect their own hides first.

      • Thinking About

Who would you say Ron Paul is feathering with his earmarks and who paid for those earmarks, taxpayers. He goes on and on about spending and adds earmarks to bills he knows is going to pass and then tells he “voted” against spending but brought home the bacon to his district. He is one of the big spenders also.

      • DaveH

So TA, if somebody picks your pocket and throws your money in the air, you wouldn’t try to get some of it back? You’re clutching for straws. Ron Paul votes NO on more bills than any other Politician. You can’t name a Congressman who has a better record than Ron Paul for voting against Unconstitutional bills.

DaveH, this country got to be number one in the world by the leadership of those that have been elected. There has always been a loud minority of people, usually 2 to 10%, who did like the way things were being done. Each election they walked the streets with their signs and stood on street corners and screamed their message of doom. Next election the same message, the same signs!! So don’t throw your signs away even though they were first printed in 1932!!!

There is a party that wants to bring our troops home and not be lead into war by an “ally” that we are somehow “bound to protect” It can be elected and yours can”t! Pure and simple! BTW, screaming louder does not help! 2% is too far from a needed 48% !

You can’t make this stuff up! The US Government has instituted a federal law prohibiting the feeding of Dolphins. Apparently, the government, in their ultimate wisdom, has determined that feeding the dolphins has resulted in generations of Dolphins becoming dependent on food scraps, and that Dolphin mothers are teaching their young cafes where to go to get free food scraps, instead of teaching them how to hunt and find food on their own. Apparently, welfare for Dolphins is bad, welfare for humans good!

Obama has a mind not quite suited to run a small company, much less a large entity like the us government. He is filled with compassion for the underachiever, and has an open heart for those who cannot live in a world of competition. He resents success for anyone other than himself, and has an innate desire to get “the fix” in to make the superior fail, which makes the underachiever look better than the parasites they actually are. A balanced budget amendment is what is needed……NEVER another Obama in any office in our free nation. Myself, I support Ron Paul, the only candidate worth voting for. Romney is a distant second. Newt a good cabinet member. I can see Paul for pres, Romney vice-pres. Obama, a preacher in a run-down drug infested neighborhood, calling for change. I wonder if the junkies will pay him any mind ????? America needs to care for more than individuals’ non-competitive niceties….or brutality of downright theft, which is what the federal reserve is practicing. We need a revolution, and can simply do it by voting for the right candidate, and accepting the bitter medicine…….the medicine which will save our country from certain death. Children are dependent, adults are self-reliant. It was a group of adults who created the greatest nation on earth, not little whimpering spoiled whining children.

    • Mary

We have somehow become and entitlement society. But I’d like to ask another question. When did Social Security and Medicare become “entitlements?” We paid on those our entire adult lives. I don’t draw Social Security, but my husband sure does. I draw my retirement from Teacher’s Retirement system of Texas. But I qualify for Medicare under his Social Security. Maybe someone can explain this to me.

      • Chester

Mary, the vary same people who are screaming so loudly about Obama are the ones who declared Social Security and Medicare entitlements. Of course, they have been trying to kill off social security since day one, and are gradually getting it around to being treated as welfare so they can do away with it.

      • Tom W.

No explanation nessesary Mary! They are not entitlements in the sense of something for nothing (Welfare and medicaid), they are entitlements in the sense that seen’s you’ve paid into it all your life, you’re ENTITLED to it!!! The problems with both of those are a corrupt government and healthcare industry!!! Why does it cost granny 50 bucks for a pill it cost two bucks to made?! Research and developement? PLEZZZ, a friend of mine’s wife works as a pharmaceutical rep, you think the GSA is bad?! I wish you could see some of the ALL EXSPENSE paid trips they BOTH get to go on!!! A two week MEETING in Hawaii?!! Duh!!!

      • Jim Bandinelli

Mary, they weren’t originally, but after the government combined the funds with the general government funds (a.k.a. tax revenues) 40 or more years ago the whole concepts of SS Insurance was switched to an entitlement almost over night! You probably voted the bumbs in who made the change and didn’t even know it! That’s what happens when you walk around with your eyes wide shut for so many years. Just in case you didn’t know, all of SS is payed month to month by tax revenues. If the government can’t increase the debt to 18.5 Trillion in the next couple of months the SSI gig is up!

      • Ted Crawford

Mary Social Security became subject to being labled an entitlement when Lyndon Johnson removed it from its “Trust Fund ” status and placed it directly into the General Fund. At this same time he created Medicare. Both of these actions were to finance and promote his ” Great Society ” ideaology!
Medicare was little more than Obamacare to a targeted group. Like most all Government programs the ” estimates of future growth ” were serverly understated. Due to that and the ever accompaning abuse that comes with these plans, it was and is grosly underfunded. It draws heavily on the General fund for solvency, and if not immediately restructured, will completely fail within this decade!

      • jeepman1

Mary asks, When did Social Security and Medicare become “entitlements?” And, as usual most of the answers are wrong. The Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) program in its current incarnation includes both social welfare and social insurance programs. In 1935, the late great FDR signed the act in an attempt to correct what were seen as dangers in the modern American life, including old age, poverty, unemployment, and the burdens of widows and fatherless children. Currently the act is funded through a payroll tax which is matched by employers. Hmmm, wouldn’t that reduce store prices if that tax were eliminated? But, I digress. Anyway, in the same year the act was passed the first benefits were sent out. Kind of like a Ponzi scheme…or, maybe it is a Ponzi scheme. The bottom line is that, although you may have paid into “Social Security” your money was NEVER just yours. The act provides that you will share with many other “recipients” who are entitled to your share. Whether or not they kicked in. The “poor” and anyone else that “need” your share are entitled to a portion of what you paid in. This is the law from your progressive lawmakers. Get used to it…

      • Tom W.

        jeep jeep!

    • Tom W.

This IS NOT an endorsement for O in any way, but in my own personal opinion, Mitt doesn’t have what it takes to handle the job!!! Oh that someone like let’s say Allen West was running, BOY (Now don’t try and twist that Flushdouche!), would that shake things up?!!

    • Tom W.

Oh yeah Elzie, would the junkies pay him any mind? Only if he was able to cut ‘em a check hon!

    • DaveH

Elzie says — “He is filled with compassion for the underachiever”.
Sorry Elzie, but I disagree. Obama and his ilk are simply buying votes. If they really had compassion for the poor, they would get Government out of the way of our Entrepreneurs so that everybody who wanted to work and produce could do so easily.

      • Elzie Lavery

In a sense you are right. But jobs are not recognized by the current administration as a way to extend corporate welfare to supplement the government welfare. Ron Paul has the right solution. We simply must recognize that all men are created equally in the eyes of the Lord, but not in their abilities to accomplish meaningful achievements. Nothing on earth can replace a good mind and a strong back. That is a simple fact of life, and must be accepted.
I look at the Ann Romney situation as a case of hideous jealousy. The fact is, Ann found a winner, and was an appropriate compliment to his success. She deserves that second cadillac, since she was worthy of having a winner like Romney choose her based on her intuitive self-worth. Women who resent her should have made themselves more worthy to be a spouse, of an achiever like him. WOMEN WHO MARRY THE WRONG GUY HAVE SIMPLY BLOWN THEIR CHANCE OF LIVING A WONDERFUL LIFE AS SHE HAS MANAGED TO DO. The woman who is chaste and intelligent will end up with a winner husband…..the morally bankrupt women will have to satisfy for less. Really, it’s that simple. Most women are satisfied with only moderate winners, down to absolute losers. Too many men in our society are absolute losers.

The re-distribution of money. A socialist/communist idea. Jesus cast out demons, made crippled people walk, never heard of him making poor people unpoor. Judas said money they had should be given to the poor. Jesus replied “The poor will always be with us.” What makes a person poor? You can gain some insight by reading through Proverbs. I am going to make probalbly a rash statement. “Being poor is a sin.” In this present day, watch the Tv all day, or read a book to learn to better yourself.

He is the messiah, the saviour and the one and only – Yikes! Give me a break. A little like putting a spastic in charge of the test tubes in the lab. The USA has got some very serious problems and there does not seem to be any answer. Deceit, corruption, arrogance, violence and mayhem seem to rule the waves. There is often just a small difference between genius and lunacy. The same goes for fame and infamy. God bless and we can only hope that the citizens of the USA come to their senses in a hurry.

Obama is not our problem. He is a result of our problem. The problem, as many see it, is Socialism which has taken control of our Educational System, News Media, Intertainment Industry, Judicial System, the Work Place and worst of all, our Congress. Without the Socialists controlling or infesting all those entities, there would be no Obama.

Today, there is not much difference between the beliefs and actions of a Socialist Party member and a Democrat or Republican. They are all products of the same educational system which has been Socialist controlled for decades. Some are more brazen and vocal about their beliefs and plans but there is very little variance between them.

The upcomming Presidential election will give us a choice between, in the right corner of the ring wearing white trunks, a (slip it to em a bit at a time Socialist) or in the left corner of the ring wearing black trunks, an (in your face take it or I will make you take it Socialist),

    Your choice.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

You’re right Dens. Socialism has taken over. They’ve slipped right in when no one was paying attention. When I read the posts on here I can’t help but think that everybody’s right and everybody’s wrong. It’s as if everyone has a piece of the puzzle but can’t see the other pieces. A couple of days ago someone posted a link to a web site called “Freedom Force”. I wish I could remember who it was so I could thank him. I went there and read. This was the most important thing I’ve read in ages. It presents in a very clear and documented way the evidence and knowledge that they’ve already taken over. All that’s left is the end game. Do yourselves a huge favor and read this five part series. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Then send the link to everyone you know. It will open their eyes. It is so factual that you won’t need to be convinced. It also provides a solution. A difficult one for sure but the only solution I’ve seen from anyone. Please take the time to read it. You won’t regret it.

      • DaveH

Good post, Nancy. Here is their Creed of Freedom:

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Are you the one who posted it, Dave? If so, thanks. Now if we could only get everyone in the country to read it. It was a real eye opener.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

I just realized I was on the wrong page when I copied the link. So as not to confuse anyone, I’ll repost the link. Scroll down and look for five part series. Sorry.

      • DaveH

I was merely directing people to the Creed page. I was certainly not trying to steal your thunder, Nancy. Sorry if it appeared that way.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Not at all, Dave. You just made me look which was a good thing. Thanks.

      • Joseph Murphy

NC, you shout out your lie by using all capital letters. Those are all true facts about Obama. In all probability, you are a pawn of Obama.

    • Ted Crawford

You are right Dans! Many others have expressed the same opinion! Even many in foreign countries understand this!
      From a Czech Newspaper article:
” The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenery capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency!
It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgement to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President.
The problem is much deeper and more than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the Prince of Fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their Prince!
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President “

Im going to say something different and say that Obama is not spending your money anymore, hes spending printed and borrowed money belonging in the main by the Chinese and other bond investors. No point complaining as the game is nearly up and what Obama is doing is offering a service everyone wants in the USA due to your aging population, and I’m suggesting to let him do it for as long as your economy can sustain it over the next 5 years which by then, your economy will have started to go into serious decline which if Stansberry & Assoc are correct about your economy, it would be better to ride the wave down and get some valuable services from your creditors.

As I see it, the credit your now living on is not debasing your currency, it is debasing your debtors asset ie the money/bonds they have already purchsed from others who did not want to take a longer term view on your ability to pay it back. The USA appears to have little gold left to back its borrowings and sooner or later your currency will collapse and the risk will be onwhoever owns the junk bonds ie American junk bonds. So if matters are too far gone to do anything about it now, best to enjoy the ride and let Obama have his obamacare and your aging population will love you for it as indeed Mitt Romney supports it anyway just not saying now during the elections to get the nomination.

In the meantime I ‘ll have to seek out the Democates bloggs to see what nice things the Democrats are saying about the republican candidates.

Ooops and let me remind all you bloggers that you cant win any votes by rubbishing Obama the man as so many of your bloggers seem to go on and on about how terrible Obama is, yet remember millions of voters voted for him and his team at your last elections and many if not more might vote for him again at the next. I suggest you use proper policy debating arguments if you really wish toi make headway or better still support Dr Ron Paul for nominations. The best man for the real job otherwise forget it.

Gilly says — “As I see it, the credit your now living on is not debasing your currency”.
Of course it is debasing our currency, Gilly. The Federal Reserve is one of the largest holders of Federal Debt. Where did they get the money to buy that debt? They created it out of thin air:
And the insidious thing about the Federal Reserve holding US Debt is that they call it Reserves (core assets), which they then pyramid on top of with the creation of new money via their Federal Reserve Fractional Banking system, up to 10 times the amount of core assets.

      • DaveH

Read this book, Gilly, especially Part 2, Chapter 3, which explains how the Fractional Banking system works:

      • Luci Tomlin (@lucitee4)

Dave, and the SAD part is, MOST PEOPLE think the Federal Reserve is part of our GOVERNMENT! IT is NOT! It has never been audited, examined, made to be transparent OR answer questions about its ACTIONS! The WORLD BANK knows, but THEY won’t tell
        on them!

      • DaveH

The Federal Government could rid us of the Federal Reserve overnight if they wanted. But they don’t want, because the easy money from the Federal Reserve helps them keep and grow their Power. The buck stops with the Politicians.

I believe the reason they are not selling these ‘assets’ is because they would need to be sold at a higher yield than the current official rates. They are doing your economy a favour by not letting the maket dictate the real bond rate of maybe 10% or more maybe 15%.. So I say thank your lucky star that they are holding those worthless assets and not trying to sell them into the real bond market.

A 15% bond yield will have the effect of reducing the value held by other bond owners like the chinese [not trying to pick on them for doing you all a favour by not selling them] perhaps in the order of several $billions.

The whole issue is far more complex than forum speculators will have you believe, If the chinese were to attempt to sell the bonds, your federal reserve would need to create more credit to buy them back at current yields or let the real market increase the yield to European levels. How would that help the millions of businesses and home owners? So the players are stuck in the game to keep everyone sane, Think about it sensibly,

      • DaveH

Gilly, you have no idea what you’re talking about. An abundance of any commodity (and money is a commodity) will result in lower prices unless the demand for that commodity increases commensurately.
You need to spend some time reading about money from the only people who will tell you the truth — Austrian Economists. Most of the rest are just shills for the administration (any administration).
        Start here:

    • David

I think that when the US falls so will the wolld economy. which is already in trouble. Hard times for the world are in store and that is when the anti-Christ will take control and bring the world as we know it to an end.

I totally agree with TOM W. Disney is Evil in disguise. Satan is very smart and very deceitful and young minds are the perfect canvas for him. Just like Hitler with the Hitler youth and Obummer with todays youth. Infect them early should be his motto.

  • Phil

Obama is good for the nation if we can overcome his race. Republicans have made this President their blame child for all the wrongs they have perpetuatated over the years on the American people. It is time to go beyound race, party and go for what is best for America. Obama does listen to the people and willing to do for the mainstreet and not easily bought by the rich and famous.

    • Shortstock

What planet are you from? Race has nothing to do with this inept bozo of a so-called President.

    • DaveH

He cares about the people and yet is indebting our children, who didn’t even have a chance to vote on the matter, to the tune of $16 Trillion and climbing fast?
Certainly Obama isn’t alone in that, but to not recognize the damage that is being done to the ordinary citizens by Obama and his fellow Politicians is just plain negligent.

      • Chisna

We were warned in 2003 that passing the so called temporary tax cuts and extending the corporate tax cuts would lead to massive deficits over the next decade and beyond. And we haven’t been able to get the republicans on board with doing anything about finding ways to increase revenue ( and cut spending )
So why is anyone surprised that the debt is increasing. Especially during a recession.
Remember ? The ( total ) national debt almost tripled during the recession of the 1980′s.

Here is a chart showing the annualized growth in real per capita government spending under the last 7 presidents. You might actually be surprised to find that Obama isn’t the biggest spender.!/justinwolfers/status/180747633671942145/photo/1/large

      • DaveH

Increasing the revenue doesn’t work because it is like candy to the politicians, the more you give them, the more they want. There is only one real way to balance the budget — Cut Spending.

    • TS FOX

Well I read a lot of junk today and I agree with what you said I think it is in some folks heart about race but not every one my thing is for the last 16yrs of the Bush’s we tolerated a lot of bull and the Bush’s left us with this stuff but no one blames them ever . REALLY

      • Ted Crawford

Okey TS FOX, let’s take a look at Bush ’43′, this delusion must be exposed at some point! Between 2000 and 2006 the average annual deficit increase was 2.7%, far too much for my tastes, however the established average annual deficit before 2000 was 2.6%!
Mid 2007 the deficit began a meteoric rise, culminating about mid 2008 at over 6%! What was changed in 2007? I remember! The 110th Congress was sworn in Headed in the Senate by Harry Reid (D) Nevada and in the House by Nancy Pelosi (D) California!
Artical 1, Section 7, Clause 1 of the Constitution of the United States of America! Some thing are difficult to understand and others are very, very simple!

      • Flashy

So ted…just by taking a seat in the hall the Dems somehow increased the deficit % ? you don’t think it was going to occur if the Dems weren’t seated in january 2007? Y’know…amazing since the ’07 dficit was from the budget and spending dictated in ’06 and by 2008 the Recession was hitting us hard.

    • Luci Tomlin (@lucitee4)

Phil, RACE has NOTHING to DO with it! Except for the fact that 95% of blacks voted for him SIMPLY BECAUSE he was Black! THAT is the ONLY evidence of RACE being an ISSUE! Incompetence is not BASED on race! It is based on PERFORMANCE, EXPRESSED GOALS, SUCCESSES, ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PAST HISTORY defining who you ARE and IT HAS no “COLOR”! BUT it sure comes in HANDY when you have nothing ELSE to HANG your so-called MESSAGE on!

  • uvuvuv

if obama didn’t have a rock star mentality, he would have met quietly with the nobel prize committee and declined the honor. after all, he had just gotten in and hadn’t had a chance to do anything peaceful yet. they don’t hand out high school diplomas as you enter 9th grade. and then he has the nerve to prolong our mideast involvement, after specifically campaigning on ending that. if he wanted photo ops, how about his opening the sluice gates for the new dam that was built, or cutting the ribbon for a new highway. at least fdr, who presided over the last 6 years of the depression (hoover had the first 3), had public works projects all over the country. and you know, i don’t think he was on location before any one of them, because with his dignity and prestige he didn’t need to build his image. what a difference from now. reagan was on the go, but he was selling america to americans. we needed it, and boy, did the hippies disappear from the campuses, from head bands to dockers, overnight.

  • Ed

Obama is not a leader. He does not lead by example. His strength is his ability to communicate which comes from his days as a community agitator. I will take Romney any day. At least he has had a job outside of politics and academia. This gives him a much better background as a leader for our Country than anything Obama has done in his life.

  • Steve E

The American people are the enablers to Obama’s addiction.

  • Chisna

The stock market is doing pretty well actually. Recent major fluctuations have been based on problems in the European economy. Do you think maybe, just maybe people could stop the talking down of the economy and the fear mongering ? I know Personal Liberty Alerts trys to prey on people’s fears. I keep getting doom and gloom advertisements from PLA, trying to get me to buy this or that because the world is going to come to an end soon. But really folks….. U.S. corporations have been posting record profits every single quarter since 2009. The real problem this country faces is that these employers aren’t hiring because they found they could demand more from fewer workers and still maintain a profit margin. So the real question is….. What do we do to put millions of Americans back to work ? Repair and upgrade infrastructure ? Invest in and support R&D in the clean tech industry. And keep any jobs created by that industry here.
Bring back as much manufacturing jobs as we can from Asia. Including most of the steel industry. Those jobs are slowly starting to come back now due to higher costs to operate in Asia and increased shipping costs. But we need to fast track the return of those jobs.
And one way would be single payer healthcare. Taking the burden off of employers when it comes to healthcare would be one of the best moves we could make. Badmouthing the economy like PLA is doing here is one of the dumbest and most unproductive things we can do….

    • Ted Crawford

Can you be unaware of Obamas attempts to further inhibit our economy? Just yesterday he stated his intent to add even more regulator pressure on our financial system, as it relates to our oil industry! ( two birds with one stone)
He is still on his ecnomically assanine kick to raise taxes on the very ones we need to look to for future job creation. Are you aware that a record number of these people renounced their citizenship last year? If he is successful at his attempt to raise these taxes, this year will surley see another record exidus of people! When the people go they do, after all, take their money and expertise with them!

      • Flashy

Romney or Obama are the selected ones. Our only chance is Ron Paul. The problem is presidents are selected not elected and there is no real difference between Romney and Obama on all the major issues. • Ron

It’s too bad he’s not an addictive Fameoholic like we had back during the Cheney Administration.

    There was this wacky little guy–’can’t remember his name, but I’ll never forget the image;
Strutting and crowing up and down the deck of an aircraft carrier while he wore a real big-boy military flight-suit. ‘Sent the brightest and bravest of Americans off to their deaths in underarmored fighting vehicles with inadequate body armor, while c-r-o-w-i-n-g that he was a “War President” and “Decider” and “goin’ the get the guy that tried to kill my daddy!”

And RealAmericanSuperPatriots everywhere ADORED him for it–and menacingly turned on anyone who didn’t endorse that $4-trillion debacle and goose-step along with it and said they were Al Qaeda-loving traitors.

This is why your Righteous RealAmerican SuperPatriot outrage about your infinite catalogues of conniving Obamacommunazihomosocialistnig-a-kenyan plots to destroy America ring so hollow to the middle of America. You shoved these nitwits up our butt for almost a decade and said anyone who didn’t go along was an America-hater–according to your narrow definition of “America” (which looks a lot like the CONFEDERATE States of America), and it’s touching that only NOW you’ve become concerned about America’s future.

If you were really sincere, and not power-hungry right-wing revolutionaries who’ve hijacked the Republican Party (can you say RINO?), perhaps you could take a moment and ask President Cheney to disclose the minutes of his secret “national security” private meetings with the oil companies immediately following the coup d’etat of 2000. We didn’t get more secure, embarked upon the longest war in American history, and gas prices blew through the roof–and they will NEVER come down, no matter how much we drill-baby-drilla–because that oil is going to China and India as soon as they can suck it out of America.

If Obama could force the oil companies to keep that oil in the U.S., rather than dump it on the world markets to the highest bidder/speculator, you’d accuse him of treason for socializing/nationalizing the oil markets and Big Government interference in the natural right of our Christian Oil Providers to make a profit By Any Means Necessary.

Still, since you love America, and the draft-dodger presidents were your boys, don’t you think it might be time for Cheney to tell the truth?

They’ve pretty much told the American people that ‘they can go f*** themselves’, but I’m sure they’d listen to you if you grovelled up to them.

  • David

One little comment on the economy. 46 million on food stamps, 62% of debt being bought up by the FED who prints money out of thin air and charges the tax payers interest on the money they then use to buy US treasuries to keep interest rates low, 87 million people getting a check from the government, fiat money being pumped into the economy, propping it, 42 cents on every dollar printed is borrowed with interest, the dollar is about to collapse, the US will looses status as the worlds reserve currency, the money used to purchase oil world wide, credit rating dropping, world economies in shambles, entitlement spending going thru the roof, aging population, a derivatives black hole from which there is no recovery and on an on. I just getting warmed up. Vote for Ron Paul or we are all in trouble.

What do you think will happen when the party of free money ends???

  • Irina Krasnyuk

Mitt Romney has saved companies that COULD be saved; saved the Olympics in 2002, and is EXTREMELY GOOD at budgeting. He is also a VERY moral man, who has a very moral wife. He is guided by prayer, in his day to day life, so that he endeavors to do what the Lord would desire of him. I resent the label he has been given; that of a “flip-flopper”. EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER LIVED IS A FLIP-FLOPPER!!! We change our minds through maturity, as we receive more knowledge of things previously unknown or having had lesser information on certain subject matters! Ergo, stop calling OURSELVES names!!! Let he who has NEVER FLIP-FLOPPED cast the first stone.

On another note, a few weeks before BHO was elected, I received a powerful impression in my mind that BHO was akin to Mark Antony (Julius Caesar’s friend) and Adolph Hitler. I shrugged it off, because it seemed ridiculous! But over the past three years, I see that the impression was spot on! Consider that both Mark Antony AND Hitler were GREAT orators, and Hitler had an agenda. Now it gets scary!!!

  • RichE

The vexing question: Is the market ready to stand on its own and willing to take risk? Will the market need a stimulant (QE) or is it awake? If the market needs a stimulus I’d say Romney won’t be able to stick the needle in. He’s running on an anti-big-gov’ment plank. If the market doesn’t need a, ‘Money Shot ‘ (LOL) then Romney could reduce corporate taxes, reduce regulations, or increase gov’ment spending, but I don’t think he or anyone could get those through congress. Other than a, ‘Money Shot’ what could the gov’ment do? IMO balancing the budget and ending corrupt spending would go a long way. Also, eliminating ‘Too big to fail’ would be nice. I guess Romney or Obama could yell at corporate America, but without legal leverage it would only be a bark.

Here’s a question, Who stimulates the economy the most with their spending?
    A. The gov’ment
    B. Lindsay Lohan
    C. The 1%’ers
    D. The middle class
    E. The poor
    F. Fill-in the blank

  • Ray

America is made up of two groups of people, the “makers” who make more than the consume, and the “takers” who consume more than they make. Obama, as a community organizer, was a “taker” and he taught others to be “takers” 47% of Americans are now “takers”, some actually pay tax rates below 0% thanks to Earned Income Credits.

My goodness, I’ve hit the jackpot. I’ve discovered a plethora of well read and intelligent individuals. BUT: All the jargon and fashionable phraseology cannot seal the fact that the Emperor has no clothes. We are in for some Hard Rain-!

  • James Osborne

WOW many very good points on both sides,it’s difficult to add to. So I’ll make a general point. Out of control big government is a maligant cancer called tyranny. There is little differance who the leader is. Myself I would rather have an America loving bussinessman over a muslim raised, american hating, communist. check out a word “Islammunism”
    God Save Us

    • Ron

So…lemme get this straight: Is “Islammunism” the totalitarian regime created when the United States CIA went into Afghanistan in the late ’70s/early ’80s and handed out weapons to radical muslim extremists so that they would conduct a jihad against the communist soviet occupation of Afghanistan, then (according to you) mystically embrace the ideology that they swore a blood-oath to destroy? Is that Islammunism?

We are in the mess we are in because in 1953 the CIA went into Iran and chucked out the democratically-elected president, Mohammed Mossadegh. They didn’t do it because he was an America-hating Godless Commie Islamic-guy. They did it because our friends from the gulf oil spill, British Petroleum, wanted him out. And in America, we loves us some greedy capitalism, no matter which country is practicing it. We’re kinda jihadist about that, and we’ll turn out in the streets with our guns and chant: “Greed Is Great!”–just like them middle-easterners do.

We spent the next decades conniving and propping up one greedy, blood-thirsty dictator after another, selling the few democracy-loving people in the middle east down the river again and again.

The American people may have been too busy getting stoned in school and listening to Lynerd Skinnerd to know any of that from “book-learnin’”, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world is as ignorant of our history as we are.

We created this mess YEARS ago through our greed. Our corporations made out like bandits in the deal, we got cheap gas to run our big, stupid, fat-a$$ gas-guzzlers for a generation or more, and their people died in droves.

Finally, they’ve gotten tired of being hood-winked and, since we threw all of their democracy-loving moderates under the bus, all we’re left with are the glennbeckian, karlrovian, tednugentian lunatics among the Islamic world. They’re as right-wing nuts and uncompromising as our right-wing uncompromising nuts are.

My suggestion: SECEDE. Create a New Confederate States of America, and by all means go to war with all of your kind all over the world. War has always been the Republican Jobs Plan, so by all means get it done.

Only, leave the United States alone. We’re much more moderate and compromising and pragmatic and problem-solving than you guys are. We’re also multi-ethnic, multi-racial, and we don’t give a damn about extremist politics on either side. We’re willing to compromise and share the burden if it means getting America moving again. We still believe in a country where you look after your neighbors and work together, and we show up every time there’s a tornado or an earthquake to help one another.

You mean-spirited, death-loving purists can create your own little fearhatia banana republic and after you’ve finished seceding, you can go to war against each other over the differences in your own purity of belief. The fanatics of Lebanon turned Beirut into a hell-hole for 30 years, but one thing you have to admit about that place: NO BIG GOVERNMENT–just armed to the teeth warlords and religious fanatics killing each other.

Just leave us out of your jihad, though. In America, we’ve got work to do.

      • RichE

… and take the debt with you!

    • Ron

      And another thing:

‘Just ’cause you guys make up a word and try to paste it in the dictionary, that doesn’t make it a real word.

I know, I know…Lord Limbaugh, Lady Ann, Lil’ Lord Hannity, and the rest of the Nobility do it all the time, but that don’t make it real.

  • Wim Vonk

I have been following all the doomsday predictions on these pages for the last three years. So far none of them have come true. When are you going to give up or at least be more realistic. The doomsday scenario was supposed to happen last year. Is someone going to admit sometimes that they were wrong. You are making a living out of creating bad news to make people paranoid. It is not healthy for the country.. Although not a great President Obama has not done the harm everyone predicted. Remember everyone buying guns because they thought he was going to give power to all the Black people. Stop the scaremongering. There are some good things going on.

Amen, Wim. “The only thing we have to fear is fea itself.” And boy do many people love to incite fear.

      • Jay

Tell me about it, big Sister! Believe it or not, I live in constant fear. Why, you may ask?

Well, i fear; Global warming, Overpopulation, Capitalism, The Greedy Rich, Guns, Republicans, Religion, Rush Limbaugh, Stay At Home Moms, Heterosexuals, Freedom, Oil, Working For a Living, White People, Free People, The Constitution, Family, Free Market Economy, Pollution, Marriage, Babies Being Born, Morality, Telling The Truth, Religion, Critical Thinking, Sovereignty; as all these things, i’m told, by the left-wing crowd, pose a serious, serious threat to mankind, and, if not eradicated, and soon, it could mean the end of civilization as we know it!

OMG!!!! I tell you, Karolyn, i’m so full of fear, i rarely leave the house. See what you Liberal-Fear-mongering-Progressives have done to me?

        • Ed

I’m shaking in my boots with you Jay! Not really, I’m clinging to my guns and my religion. God bless America.

      • Thinking About

Karolyn, isn’t it always easy to blame others for what failures we experience in life. And what about the ones who are so worried about “others taking my money” and continue to enjoy the life in the USA. Jay, all your problems is not my fault.

    • Ron

YES. There is Big Money to Be Made in Fear-Mongering.

Bob Livingston regularly sends me e-mails promoting the End of The World As We Know It through Obama CommuNaziHomoSocialistNig-AKenyanism and Why It’s Important For Me To Invest In Silver/Gold/Guns/Home$urvivalKit$.

It’s a little bit like Glenn Beck selling all the evil filthy plots that Obama was going to use to destroy America in the first year of his Presidency–and why it was import to partake of his unique opportunity to save ourselves from the America-Hating Welfare Queen Takeover by investing in his product: Goldline.

Would these guys sell out the American people and throw us under the bus, creating false chaos in order to turn a quick buck off of us by creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of collapse?

Would they sell America out in order to turn us into their personal get-rich-quick ATM?

Why, never! Not for all the Goldline in the world. (smirk)

      • FreedomFighter
      • Jay

Ron says: YES. There is Big Money to Be Made in Fear-Mongering.

Tell me about it, Ron. Boy oh boy, you sure hit the nail on head. Speaking of making big money through fear-mongering; what do you think of that fat, tub of lard, Al Gore, who made a killing telling people that global-warming, if not addressed, will end civilization as we know it? He’s the first carbon-credit millionaire on this polluted planet, ever!

Did you know; that when he left office, he had a measly, two-million dollars in the bank. But after his “Inconvenient truth” horror-flick, all that changed. He’s now worth over a hundred-million. And all this, trough fear-mongering, and falsifying scientific data.. Now why didn’t i think of that? It never occurred to me, that one could get rich by scaring the crap out of people!

And don’t get me started on Bill Gates, the eccentric billionaire, scaring people half-to-death, with his Over-Population myth. Yet at the same time, racking in more Billions.

Or mr. Obama, who swears up and down, that Capitalism, if not eradicated, will be the death of this country, and the WORLD! Yet, he himself, lives in the lap of luxury, in similar fashion as one would, who engaged in Capitalism, with a nice hefty wad in the old bankarooniy.

Yeah Ron, i hear ya buddy. As you say: There is big money to be made in Fear-Mongering. Speak the truth, brother; RIGHT ON!

i am dismayed at the amount of people i know who voted for barry, they are like zombies, they don’t care about the price of gas, they don’t care about the price of groceries, they do care about the environment. most of these people are bolsheviks. they don’t care about anything except what they can derive from the government, so i guess barry and crew have done their job well.

It amazes me how some people post and comment in repliy to posts mdae by others . Some are very good and obvious well thought and knowledgible . Others I have to believe are made just to have something to say . Their comments are all over the place pro and con . I will not name names as I am sure we all know who they are and they know exactly who I refer to .

Most people look back only an administration or two and set blame . In reality it goes back much farther but I shall stop at 1963 when Lyndon Johnson became our defacto President after Kennedy was assasinated . Implimenting the Great Society was the greatest mistake in the past 50 years . Welfare , a revival of the FDR era “dole” it created a class of population who found it easier to just sit home and do nothing but let the government keep them . Since then it has grown and over whelmed our taxpayers as more layers were added to benifit the allegedly under privledged .

In reality it was nothing more than Communism with a new name . And the Democrat’s have championed its implementation for years under different names until now . The narcissic clown voters placed in our White House is a Communist in every act he rams down the countries throats . If people listen to what he says in his speech’s you will hear what he really is saying . He wants to be famous that is for sure , he loves the lime light as does the his wife . Who loves it most ? I don’t know but they plan to stay if it at all possible . If Mr Ofama gets re-elected be prepared to say goodbye to America as you have known it . No more Constitution , no more free speech , no more internet opinions . Welcome to OBAMANATION !

Flashy….you actually have had some good points today….some not all! Come on, why would anyone want the ever growing Big Brother taking a bigger and bigger share of their hard earned income?? Does Warren Buffet pay more than he has too? No he does not.

Government has grown exponentially and so has it’s appetite for our money. That will continue if it is not carved down in size.

Obummer believes in the Facist economic model….he never uses the words “freedom or liberty”, as he believes those are determined by the state. In fact, our economy has not been a capitalist model for decades. Obummer has sped up the process of complete conversion with the help of the potus Congress. I ahve said before there is not one real ounce of difference between the elepahants and the donkeys….just a different view of “warfare state” versus “welfare state”.

In terms of creating jobs, to say the middle class creates jobs via demand for goods and services is incorrect. Capital is required to invest in an idea…product or service. The investor….whom mostly are either wealthy or someone working with borrowed capital takes a risk and hopes for success and a profit. This endeavor may employ workers who in turn earn an income and thus can buy a product or service. Yes, there are instances when an asstute investor sees a need to fill a demand, but the investor still must have capital or access to it….not the other way around.

History shows not only here in the USA but in other country’s as well that high taxes discourage capital investment. John Kennedy realized that concept in the 60′s!

The perfectly named World Economic Forum—that is, an organization dedicated to the creation of a world economic system—is meeting in Davos again to discuss the problems of the day, and to propose solutions. Although the official problem-solving has not yet begun, a hint as to the direction of said solutions can be found in the definition of the main problem to be solved, offered by the group’s leader: the “out-dated and crumbling” economic system, capitalism. Surprise!

Among the problem-solvers in attendance: the dean of the China European International Business School, a joint project of the Chinese communist and European socialist governments; the President of the European Central Bank, formerly the head of the Bank of Italy; the Treasury Secretary to America’s first openly redistributionist President; and Tunisia’s new Islamist prime minister, who recently stood with a Hamas Party deputy and called for the “liberation of Jerusalem.” Who better to reform the world’s economy?

Nigeria’s president, the unfortunately named Goodluck Jonathan, was due to appear, but may have to cancel in light of the Islamist bombings that have just killed hundreds of his citizens. His appearance under present circumstances would have to have a surreal aura to it, anyway, since the presence of Tunisia’s prime minister would certainly make any kind of anti-Islamist rhetoric a social faux pas—not to mention grounds for further bombings targeting Nigerian Christians.

At any rate, the one thing we know about this confab is that the big issue on the table is capitalism, and what to do about it. Klaus Schwab, the founder of the WEF, and a leader in the advancement of “social entrepreneurship,” explains:

“We have a general morality gap, we are over-leveraged, we have neglected to invest in the future, we have undermined social coherence, and we are in danger of completely losing the confidence of future generations.”

All true, to be sure. The socialist/relativist deterioration of public and private morality is real. The corporate-government power brokers have indeed sold out the future with fiscal and monetary policy designed to destroy the economies of the Western world. And the anti-Western bias in philosophy and education over the past hundred years or more has certainly “undermined social coherence,” as witness the West’s inability to stand firm against an overt assault on its core principles via radical Islam. Well said, Dr. Schwab.

Oops, that’s not what he meant. It turns out that all of the problems he outlines can and must be blamed, not on conditions that actually existed during recent years, but rather on the one condition that decidedly did not exist—freedom.

    Schwab explains:

“Solving problems in the context of outdated and crumbling models will only dig us deeper into the hole. We are in an era of profound change that urgently requires new ways of thinking instead of more business-as-usual…. Capitalism in its current form has no place in the world around us.”

True again—capitalism in its current form has no place in the world around us. In fact, doubly true: Capitalism in its current form—on the world economy scale, that is—is not capitalism, but rather a creeping fascism, in which government manipulates the markets, forms alliances with certain pseudo-corporate entities, which entities thus become state protectorates, free of the risks of genuine free market activity, and in a position to have unnatural influence over public policy, which in turn results in more micro-managing of economic activity in favor of the joint vested interests of the presiding political and pseudo-corporate factions.

But once again, I have of course misconstrued Schwab’s meaning. When he proposes to wipe out “capitalism in its current form,” he does not mean the bastardized monster that is passed off as capitalism today, but which has as much in common with economic liberty as Lady Gaga has with Ella Fitzgerald. No, Schwab means by “capitalism” what all anti-liberty manipulators mean by it, namely The Bogeyman.

The chickens raised on the farm of post-Marxist politico-economic social engineering have come home to roost. As argued previously, “capitalism” is not the free market as understood by Adam Smith and the Founding Fathers; it is the Marxist term for the free market, reinterpreting freedom as a government “system” (an -ism) equivalent to any other. Through this distortion of language, the philosophical underpinnings of freedom have disintegrated, replaced by a vague notion that “capitalism” is merely a “useful” method of promoting economic well-being, but one which needs constant monitoring in the name of ensuring fairness.

By maintaining the term in this way, through the endless regulations and reconfigurations of the “market” that have led to the current, singularly un-free “market system” which has brought the formerly free-ish world to the brink of extinction, the globalist forces have achieved a brilliant rhetorical victory. For it is now possible to hold up “capitalism” as the culprit at the heart of any problem. No rational person would mistake the current state of things—whether globally, or within any given nation—for a free market.

But no one really understands capitalism to mean a free market anymore. If there are entities that look vaguely like businesses, then we have “capitalism.” Thus, capitalism can be blamed for our problems.

The solution? Well, if capitalism is “out-dated and crumbling”; if it is the source of the “morality gap”; if it is the cause of our being “over-leveraged”; and if it is the means of our having “undermined social coherence,” then the solution must be something that is not “capitalism.” Any guesses as to what the great minds of Davos—most of them Harvard/Goldman Sachs folks—might come up with?

Whatever it is, you can bet they will call it “the New Capitalism.” The language trick has worked wonders for them and their ilk for decades. Why change now? Thus, when they have run the world a little further into the ground through further leftward lurches, they will be able to convene again, and to call, yet again, for radical changes to the destructive and immoral “capitalism” that is causing all the problems. By the time they have achieved a UN-regulated, global socialist economic network, the “capitalism is the culprit” shtick may have worn a little thin. By then, however, it won’t matter.

On the other hand, by that time the Western world may well be the 6th Caliphate that Tunisia’s “moderate Islamist” prime minister is calling for. And man’s only hope might then be the likes of Goodluck Jonathan—men of the Third World who have come face-to-face with some of the enemies of freedom, and who, if the Lord has preserved any good luck for the rest of humanity, will refuse to follow the leaders off the cliff as the “developed world” has done.

  • Neil Swan

It’s the republicans in congress and senate that don’t want to tax the rich and oil companies that are causing the problems.
The owner of the LA Dogers baseball team made 20 million dollars a year five years in a row and didn’t pay a dime of income tax. There are too many tax loopholes for the rich.
Obama wants to do away with that, but we have to get rid of the republicans to do it.

    • Ed

Neil, wrong, taxing the “rich” and “oil” companies is not the problem. You are a victim of the rhetoric coming from the left wing media. The problem we have is out of control Government spending, 4Billion per day over what we take in, and the interest we are paying on our debt. Please think for yourself, it will be a liberating experience for you.

      • Neil Swan

All conservatives are interested in is money guns and pushing their religious views down everyones throat. They don’t care about people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet do.

        • Ed

Neil, if Warren Buffett “cares” then why doesn’t he pay the 1B in back taxes owed by Birkshire Hathaway. Why doesn’t he pay himself more of a salary, income, then he would pay the same percentage as his 200K per year secretary. Give me a break, pull your head out of your ____.

      • Neil Swan

I’m sure Buffet pays the taxes he owes. He’s for the rich paying their fair share. Also he is giving Bill Gates 30 billion to add to his 40 billion for charity.

        • Ed

Neil, public knowledge and facts, please do your own research, good luck, thanks, Ed.

      • Jay

Neil says: All conservatives are interested in is money guns and pushing their religious views down everyones throat. They don’t care about people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet do.

He might be a whiz kid at creating computer software, but beyond that, Bill Gates has proven time and again that he hasn’t a clue about why or how freedom works.

He constantly teams up with anti-free market types like the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) to produce “educational programs” in his software packages, misdirecting unsuspecting children with political propaganda. In 2002 he gave the NWF $600,000 worth of software to help these environmental radicals run their programs to block the drilling of American oil. Apparently Gates doesn’t understand that he needs oil to create power to run computers. Most recently his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donated $3 million to eight universities to reinvent the flush toilet. Environmentalists call that device “one of the world’s most destructive habits.”

Clearly Gates is a captive of his own wealth, suffering the usual rich man’s guilt over being rich – rushing full speed ahead to “give back to the world.” Funny how such giving back always seems to mean supporting socialist causes with money gained from the free market. Up till now, Gates has just been giving his own money voluntarily. Even if it’s to bad causes, he is certainly free to use his money anyway he chooses.

Now, however, his misguided meddling is about to involve the misdirecting of everyone’s income, and so the world’s richest useful idiot just became dangerous to freedom.

In November, as part of the G20 summit, Gates, representing his foundation, presented a report on a plan to eradicate world poverty. Said Gates,

“I am honored to have been given this important opportunity. My report will address the financing needed to achieve maximum progress on the Millennium Development Goals, and to make faster progress on development over the next decade.”

Gate’s report proposes a financial transaction tax (FTT) on tobacco, aviation, fuel and carbon (energy), to be enforced by all members of the G20 nations. The financial transaction tax has been excitedly talked about in the halls of the UN for a decade. Called the Tobin Tax, named after a Yale economist who dreamed it up, FTT would give the UN almost unlimited funding by taxing every stock and monetary transaction in the world.

Gates didn’t just dream this up on his own accord. He is actually resurrecting legislation a bill introduced in 2008 by then Senator Barack Obama. It was called the Global Poverty Act. Obama introduced the bill during his one abbreviated term in the U.S. Senate.

The bill was one of the only pieces of legislation ever introduced by Senator Barack Obama, and it wasn’t just a compassionate bit of fluff that Obama dreamed up to help the poor of the world. This bill was directly tied to the United Nations and served as little more than a shake down of American taxpayers in a massive wealth redistribution scheme. The Global Poverty Act would provide the United Nations with 0.7% of the United States gross national product. Estimates indicated that would add up to at least $845 billion of taxpayer money into UN coffers, to be spent (or wasted) by UN bureaucrats. The excuse for the taxing, of course, is to help end poverty in third world countries. The bill died in Congress in 2008 after passing unanimously in the House. Now Bill Gates has resurrected it.

Of course the United States has had an ongoing program of supplying billions of dollars in foreign aid and assistance to the poor for decades. In addition, the U.S. pays most of the bills at the UN for its many unworkable poverty programs. So what’s new about the Global Poverty Act, and why is it dangerous?

Why is it that every time we meet yet another socialist-loving, left-winger he ends up being an utter hypocrite? This time it’s tax-whiner — and now known tax shirker — Warren Buffet, the investment giant that has been telling anyone that will listen that “the rich” don’t pay enough in taxes.

Well, apparently, he’s right, the rich don’t pay enough in taxes. Well, not in general, just in his specific case, anyway. The New York Post has discovered that his famous company, Berkshire Hathaway, has unpaid back taxes going back to 2002 and have even more recent taxes left unpaid.

This cretin has been going around in his Obama-infused stupor insisting that “the rich” need to be destroyed because they don’t pay enough taxes, and he, himself hasn’t even paid what he owes?

That takes a lot of gall, doesn’t it? Whining for more of Obama’s onerous tax schemes when he hasn’t even paid what he owes in the first place!

The Post goes on to lay out that Buffet’s original claim that “the rich” don’t pay enough taxes is a misleading pile of garbage, too, but the fact that he hasn’t even paid what he owes is just unbelievable.

Yeah, why we have here is yet one more liar supporting Obama. It really is unbelievable. Obama’s entire administration is filled with tax cheats!

Well, on one thing we can agree: There are a lot of 5150s on this webpage. Thank god they’re all armed to the teeth, murmuring sullenly about vast, hyperbolic, weird Kenyan conspiracies spanning the ages and pray daily for the death of the President of the United States.

After all, Hitler was just a poor misunderstood conservative artist who defended Germany against a vast, multinational, liberal Jewish intellectual conspiracy spanning centuries that sought to destroy pure Aryan Germany through the tyranny of book-learnin’. These patriots rose up and, first they burned the books, and then they burned the people–all in the name of “freedom”.

  • Neil Swan

Bill Gates is intelligent and believes in helping people, unlike you.
You are just a stupid conservative.

    • Jay

This is from a man with a 66,000 sq. ft. home — that’s about 1.65 acres of living space.

      Bill Gates writes in Science:

“I believe it is imperative that the government commit to clean energy innovation at a level similar to its research investments in health and defense…

Market incentives, alone, will not create enough affordable clean energy to get the nation to near-zero CO2 emissions, the level of emissions that developed countries must achieve if we are going to keep Earth from getting even hotter…

Last year I joined with other business leaders in a call to increase federal investment in energy R&D from $5 billion to $16 billion a year. (Others, including the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, have also recommended substantial increases.‡) Recently, our group, the American Energy Innovation Council (AEIC), issued a second report outlining ways to ensure that government research dollars are targeted wisely to achieve optimal returns. The report also suggests ways to pay for the increased investment: reducing or eliminating current subsidies to well-established energy industries, diverting a portion of royalties from domestic energy production, collecting a small fee on electricity sales, or imposing a price on carbon…

Dear Bill: So you want “near zero emissions”, well hello Bill. Ah, let’s see. If you wanna be Net-Zero, then close down all industry, manufacturing and small shops across the land.

Have only paper pushing Government Paycheck types employed. You will have massive, and I mean massive utility bills, and little to nobody employed to support government.

Choose your poison carefully dufus, because once down that road, our North American continent will become a wasteland of nothing. Absolutely nothing but OWS dufus types wandering around from town to town picking waste from unproductive farmlands.

Remember it takes energy to produce food, electricity, and housing. Unless progressive liberals get over their goofy belief that the world is coming to an imminent end due to global warming. We are doomed to stupidity of over liberalism.

NEVER FORGET: Confederate slaveholders–with the single largest part of the American GDP tied up in trafficking in the slavery of human beings in 1859–were the original “Job Creators”.

It was the traitor Redistributor-in-Chief, Abraham Lincoln–founder of some sort of America-hating Islamocommunist political party (can’t remember what it was called) who destroyed RealAmerica–the Confederate States of America, by forcing them to relinquish their vast inherited wealth (libtards call it “freeing the slaves”)

For his crime, one Great RealAmericanSuperPatriot, John Wilkes Booth–the Ted Nugent of his time, if you will–rose up and exercised his “second amendment remedy” swiftboating Lincoln in the head at Ford’s Theatre, executing him for betraying the Confederacy (libtards call it “murdering the President” or “assassinating the President of the United States”).

God Bless the Coming Confederate States of America, Freewhite and 21, where women know their place and are free to be beaten as needed, the Sharecropper knows his loyalty lies to his wealthy landowners, and the swarthy peoples wouldn’t DARE to be uppity.

In November, we’re not choosing between Obamacommunazihomosocialistnig-A-kenyanism and RealAmericanSuperPatriotism.

We’re choosing between living in the United States of America–a multi-ethnic polyglot (look it up) culture that will move into the 21st century in search of a meaningful role in this century on the world stage–and the Confederate States of America, mired in olde-timey nostalgia, prideful of illiteracy, and stubbornly determined to take America back.

–All the way back to the oppressive ignorance and xenophobia of 1859, and rageful and violent toward a world that passed them by because they refused to grow with history.

    Choose wisely.

      • Ron

Thank you! Once again, I stand reproved by a kind, thoughtful, and erudite retort on Why could I not see the error of my ways before??

It must be because I hate America!

Okay, maybe you’re half-right. I do hate the Confederate States of America. The United States of America defeated this racist stun-dumb violent ignorance and hatred at places like Gettysburg, Antietam, and Vicksburg in the 1860s.

‘Just because Nixon handed the Republican Party back over to the Confederacy in 1968 in order to get raw power (the ULTIMATE insult to the late Abraham Lincoln), just because he sold the United States out to the Confederate States, it still doesn’t make you right.

You may still succeed in JohnWilkesBooth-ing a President or two, but the American people will tire of this effort to drag us back to a fakey-patriot olde-timey world that never existed, and they will tire of your incessant paranoid hatred, and they will rise up and defeat you again.

You’ve cleaned out the gun shops for now, but might does not always make right. Truth prevails with time.

Say what you want. If you were half as intelligent as you think you are you would know that Obama has spent more money in his first 3 years as Bush spent in his 8 years in office. • Jay

I’m a liberal. A flaming, radical liberal. This may surprise several of my readers—both supporters and opponents—who I’m sure would consider my positions to be very conservative. The problem is, what most people consider “liberal” and “conservative” really has nothing to do with the true meanings of “liberal” and “conservative.”

For example, traditional liberalism as a dictionary definition is a doctrine stressing the importance of the following:

    individual property rights,
    constitutional limitations of government,
    free markets, and
    individual freedom from restraint.

Traditional liberals believe that these principles will bring about an order that benefits all of society.

Those certainly sound like conservative principles, don’t they? Those are principles I believe in, but they’re certainly not principles espoused by those who we call “liberals” today. Modern liberals oppose all of these. Consider the following:

    1. Individual property rights: when President Bush proclaimed American society an “ownership society,” Hillary Clinton made light of the term and called it an “on your own society.” She preferred what she called a, “we’re all in this together” society—you know, that whole communal living thing. So much for the importance of individual property rights.

    2. Constitutional limitations on government: From the days of FDR we’ve seen the unchecked growth of government. Modern “liberals” all support massive expansion of the government into areas never authorized by the Constitution or foreseen by the founders of this country. Universal, government-provided health care is just one example of this.

    3. Free markets: In the same speech where Clinton made light of private property rights, she made the point that “fair markets” were more important than “free markets.” “Fairness doesn’t just happen. It requires the right government policies,” according to the Secretary of State. So much for free markets. Welcome to the era of “fair markets,” or again, as Marx called it, “communism.”

    4. Individual freedom from restraint: From banning smoking in restaurants (a reality in more and more states across the country) to limits on CO2 production to high taxes, modern liberals are more than happy to restrain individual freedom using the argument that there is some disconnected “societal good.” Again, thank Karl Marx for that argument.

So how is it that those who share no values with true traditional liberals (such as Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Samuel Adams, George Washington, Patrick Henry, and John Hancock, among others) have come to take that name as their own?

President Roosevelt co-opted the term “liberal” for his big-government programs back in the 1930s, leaving those who opposed these new powers to call themselves “conservatives.” Thus we have the modern use of the terms.

But I don’t like the term “conservative.” It sounds too much like, “unwilling to try new things” or “afraid to run risks.” And that’s not me, and it’s not the other conservatives I know. We do try new things. This nation was a new thing—and a big risk—founded by “liberals” who shared modern-day “conservative” beliefs. Those who built this nation over the past 200+ years were also certainly not afraid to run risks.

So I declare myself a “liberal” in the traditional sense of the word. I am a liberal in the mold of the Founding Fathers, and I share their beliefs. But if I choose to reclaim the term “liberal” in its traditional sense, what about modern liberals? Do we call them “conservatives”? That name doesn’t really fit them, either. They’re also willing to try new things, so long as it involves more government and less freedom.

How about we just call modern liberalism what it really is: totalitarianism

So maybe we need to review the position of modern liberals on the principles already discussed. Modern liberals

oppose private property ownership, preferring ownership by the state, or “we’re all in it together” ownership,
they prefer no limits—Constitutional or otherwise—on governmental power,
they want heavy government intervention in the economy to create “fair markets” (whatever that means) rather than supporting free markets, and
they’re more than happy to restrain your freedom if they can find any excuse to do so.

Actually, this isn’t difficult to label. In fact, we’ve all seen this belief system before. It was prevalent in the former Soviet System and still is to a great degree in China. Cuba operates under a similar system, as does Venezuela. Much of the Middle East operates under similar rules, as does much of Latin America and Africa.

How about we just call modern liberalism what it really is: totalitarianism.

    • RichE

I wonder if that’s the kernel. Your center is Individualism mine is civilizationism. You’re a lone wolf and I’m a herd animal.
Unless there’s a way to eliminate corruption, I don’t believe in 100% anything. Because of corruption and the chance thereof, everything needs to be watched. I believe in a capitalist (free market) economy with a society centric government, but both need to be watched.
Now we have the issue of a self-sustaining sovereign. Will that work in a 100% free market? I doubt it. The government will need to support/protect base markets in order to be completely sovereign.

      • Jay

Before i can answer your question RichE, i need to know what you, mean, by the terms; Individualism – civilizationism.

        • RichE

Individualism – thinks inside the box
          civilizationism.- thinks outside the box

      • Jay

Personally, i prefer these definitions for above terms.

Individualism is the moral stance, political philosophy, ideology, or social outlook that stresses “the moral worth of the individual”. Individualists promote the exercise of one’s
goals and desires and so value independence and self-reliance while opposing external interference upon one’s own interests by society or other institutions such as the government.

civilizationism? btw, no such word/term exists, is naturally; the antithesis of Individualism.

Perhaps by civilizationism, you mean socialism; and thinking outside the box is an exercise performed only by a select few individuals/oligarchs, who wield enormous political influence to establish socialism. This, of course, is a perverted form of individualism.

Socialism: Although there are different models, the type that is presently being established, and, if unchecked, will soon emerge, will be: a Marxist Communo-Fascist elitist-ruled Islamo-Drug cartel Narco/Nazi State—replete with its own apparent and visible concentration camps. Said State has been meticulously planned over, at least, decades and is now being forcefully implemented against We-the-People who seem to have been replaced by “We-the-Sheeple.”

Would you consider the above as, Thinking in, or outside the box?

Inside box, speculative, one possibility of many, but very true when considering the general direction our sociopath leader is moving our Country. To him we are the enemy and must be taken down to level the international playing field for the future of the NWO. We will see if we the people/sheeple, will rise against oppressive Government. The Supreme court ruling on Obamacare mandate will have the potential to be a pivitol moment in histroy. Personally I tend to side with Ted Nugent, live free or die.

Sounds like insecure thinking. Does individualism have a social component? Do they bond, create customs and traditions? Is there a hierarchy or is it seperate but equal empowerment? Seems a paradox, individualism can’t be social, but need to be social to insure individualism.

Thank you for a great article. I like your perspective. May God grace the USA!

Obama has a personality disorder, narcissism, and he needs to be declared medically unfit. As Commander in Chief, he needs to be given a medical discharge. Like Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Castro, Obama is doing a lot of damage. Obama and all of his incompetent political cronies cannot accept the reality of Socialism as a failed concept, instead Obama pats himself on the back for accomplishing his stages of the failed agenda. The health of our country and its people means nothing to these Socialist morons. Their only concern is the implementation of their criminal agenda.

Every now and then liberals like to claim that they’re patriotic. Usually around an election. Of course they’re not patriotic in the “wear a flag on your lapel” kind of way. They’re more patriotic in the “point out everything wrong with your country and then threaten to move
to Canada if you don’t win the election” way. Which is fine. America has seen patriots like that before. They used to wear green coats and moved to Canada, right around the time the last British troops left New York on Evacuation Day.

Occasionally when in power liberals will actually try to brand their opponents as traitors or unpatriotic, but like a dog trying to talk, it never sounds right. Mostly they have to defend themselves against charges of being unpatriotic, particularly when they’ve been caught attending a church whose rousing hymn is “God Damn America”.

It’s a challenge being patriotic, when you don’t believe in American Exceptionalism, or even the value of the Nation-State. When you think that the world would run better if everyone just listened to what the UN tells them to do. When you think that its history is the story of how rich Europeans murdered all the natives and built smokestacks over their graves in order to plunder South America of its fruit—being patriotic really requires contortionism that would put any circus acrobat to shame.

That’s probably why liberals don’t do the patriotism thing very well. It’s hard to spit in someone’s face one day and then hug them the next. For liberal politicians, patriotism is one of those unfortunate election season things they try to get through as quickly as possible. And hope no one asks them if they believe in the Constitution.

When they’re forced to, they will say something vague about America’s heritage of tolerance, and imply that the WW2 GIs were fighting for socialism, civilian trials for terrorists and opposition to tort reform. They’re most comfortable around the Civil War and WW2. Anything outside that comfort zone makes them itchy. They will pose next to Old Glory when they have to, if they have a relative who fought in a war, they will bring him up. If he’s not dead, they will drag him out. If he is dead, they will dig him up. But just don’t ask them any questions about the application of their vaunted patriotism. Or why, if they’re so patriotic, they can’t actually get behind their country in wartime.

Of course they will answer that true patriotism means undermining your country in wartime. Which means that Benedict Arnold was the original patriot.

      Dear Patriot,

Is this the type of debating skills they teach at Thomas Jefferson University? If so, Mr. Jefferson is certainly spinning in his grave.

      Best wishes,

      P.S. I certainly hope you’re not a professor.

    Subject: FW: GE

Keep your eye on Waukesha, Wisconsin……

Their biggest employer just moved out. Thanks Jeff, you’re a “real” American….give Barrack our Best !! General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing, China. In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year but paid no taxes-the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States . So let’s get this straight. Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess Obama forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs. If this doesn’t show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don’t know what does. Please pass this on to others and think twice before buying a GE product!! Verified on Snopes
