Obama: Reporters Say My Ideas Are ‘Great’

Who needs state media when you have the MSM?  President Barack Obama told an Illinois audience Wednesday that reporters are sympathetic toward his policies, but that they advise him Congressional Republicans will never let those good ideas take root and blossom.

“It’s interesting, in the run-up to this speech, a lot of reporters say that, well, Mr. President, these are all good ideas, but some of you’ve said before; some of them sound great, but you can’t get those through Congress. Republicans won’t agree with you,” said Obama in Galesburg, Ill.

In fact, Republicans like Obama’s ideas too – they just won’t say so out loud, for fear of their constituents and other Republicans, he added.

“I know because they’ve said so. But they worry they’ll face swift political retaliation for cooperating with me. Now, there are others who will dismiss every idea I put forward either because they’re playing to their most strident supporters, or in some cases because, sincerely, they have a fundamentally different vision for America.”

Ben Bullard

Reconciling the concept of individual sovereignty with conscientious participation in the modern American political process is a continuing preoccupation for staff writer Ben Bullard. A former community newspaper writer, Bullard has closely observed the manner in which well-meaning small-town politicians and policy makers often accept, unthinkingly, their increasingly marginal role in shaping the quality of their own lives, as well as those of the people whom they serve. He argues that American public policy is plagued by inscrutable and corrupt motives on a national scale, a fundamental problem which individuals, families and communities must strive to solve. This, he argues, can be achieved only as Americans rediscover the principal role each citizen plays in enriching the welfare of our Republic.

Tooting his own horn! The only good idea he might have, is if he had the idea to resign!

    • guy r west

hey he would not acpt that even if he did cose some one else has already said it. a bit of child phyc might get it if one could convence him it was his own ideal BUT good luck with that

  • guest

I sincerely hope there are more people who have a fundmentally different vision than that agree with his

  • Alan

Well of course they think his ideas are great, good little lapdogs that they are. Only fools will offer him any form of adulation. His ideas would be best kept to himself as the country would be in far better shape without them.

  • chrisnj

Why yes, Mr Zero … I do have a fundamentally different vision for America than you do. I believe in freedom, human liberty, and a strictly limited government of specific enumerate powers and responsibilities, of the people, by the people, and for the people.

One need not inquire then what you believe. Dictators and tyrants always live in their own little world that revolves around them. You aren’t the first such to claim legitimacy through electoral chicanery. It doesn’t make you legitimate, relevant, or even right.

Thank God for those Congressional Republicans and may they continue to block this idiot’s “good” ideas. We’ve seen his good ideas and seen what they do to the country. Don’t need any more of them.

“… reporters are sympathetic toward his policies, but that they advise him Congressional Republicans will never let those good ideas take root and blossom.”

    The Liberal dictionary:

    Good ideas = Marxism.

    • billybob

After four and one half years he is still blaming others. Anyone see a pattern here?

  • Judicious

Those ideas are Saul Alinsky’s, and they SUCK!

  • Phillip Bari

Obama didn’t mention, that 1/3 of the democrats are against all his old ideas.
still blaming some one else for his failure. This man is the biggest lair i ever have known in my 65 years.

  • Steve

Dont know how they could tell him anything with a mouth full of black snake.

President Barack Obama told an Illinois audience Wednesday that
reporters are sympathetic toward his policies, but that they advise him
Congressional Republicans will never let those good ideas take root
and blossom. This is the problem, right here. The First amendment was crafted to prevent this very thing, a state media. America can not continue like it is now, it will change. It will either go back to being a representative democracy or it will become communist/socialist. If it does become communist/socialist the press will have totally hijacked by the government. All of this can be traced back to the Vietnam war and the radicalization of universities and indoctrination of the youth of America in the 50 years since. If nothing else the left knows how to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

    • billybob

Those who never got to eat any of that Golden Egg are the same ones who are now trying to destroy the country. I want to know when they will come out of the closet and say “Yes we are Socialist ans Communist and we are proud of it.” That should take care of most of the Democratic party. I would guess that will happen once they have a firm control of both houses and the Presidency. It wil make the Supreme court a thing of the past. No more three parts of government.

The repugs can’t believe nor accept that a black man won the election 4 1/2 yrs ago. Their stated goal at that time was to do nothing but work towards his re-election. And that’s the only thing they focused on. Much to their dismay and, dare I say, disgust, he was re-elected. Now their goal is to, laughably, “repeal as many laws as possible.” How sad, especially for the country.

    • charlie

hey stupid he is not even half a black man, he is a mus slime mongrel

      • Gary

He is a white African-American, or white black man.

        • billybob

Good one Gary! I’m a “white” Native American, my wife is a white,Mexican and all my kids are White/Native American Mexicans! I guess I could get more obsurd, but I got your message.

    • David Scuncio

      he won by fuard,

      • michiganminuteman

I think the word is FRAUD! It’s Okay, I’m not a grate speller two.

    • michiganminuteman

Jimbob, the fact he is one half black has nothing to do with it. It isn’t his skin color, it is his ideals, we who believe in the constitution, don’t like. It is so convenient to just say racism when people don’t like his plans for our country. I understand that my be a difficult concept for you to understand, but that is because you are brainwashed. Now be a good little useful idiot and go play in the road.

    • chocopot

You’re an idiot. What people can’t accept about the thing in the WH is that he is a liar, a phony, and a fraud, and he ‘won’ both of his elections through massive election fraud, which has been documented. He is also a Marxist and his goal is to destroy this country, at which he has been remarkably successful. That is what we don’t like about him. Do you understand now?

    • Jan

No what is sad for the country is dumbocrats like you who fail to see the horrible mess this country is in and it is getting worse. Granted not all is Obammanation’s fault but the fiasco of the last five years is. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin, it has to do with his repulsive socialist policies!

  • charlie

they are as stupid as his voters. he needs to be removed NOW. Where is the sheriff or the military leader with the balls to charge him and arrest him for his treasons. we need his jailed, tried, convicted and executed so we can get our country back

    • michiganminuteman

I would be happy if he was sent back to Kenya, where he was born!

  • Larry

He has an ego bigger than Dallas! He keeps regurgitating the same crap, his words as usual are void of solid content or ideas just lip service.

  • Eagle525

And …. 0bama is a legend in his own mind.

  • CesarFStoll

Flashback! I’ve seen, heard this type of stuff before… Yes! It was Herod, Nero, Caligula, Robespierre, Napoleon, Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Velazco, Chavez …and every murderous despot throughout the history of the world. Very hard to even name few of them, because they are so many. One clear sign though and a reason for alarm. They all start the same way and then many will die and they will blame it on the other side, because he was not ‘understand’ his ways…

This monster, the pro-death, anti-family, anti-marriage, anti-Christ, usurper in chief; needs to be removed as soon as possible. If he claims the MSM likes him, then start by letting the MSM they do not deserve to be read, watch or whatever is the way the ‘disseminate’ their poison.

  • Alan

The whole problem stems from his fundamentally different socialist vision. If his ideas didn’t suck there would be minimal opposition.

  • Libertarian Soldier

If you just put it back the way it was when obama found it, we might be OK. It has to originate out of the country.

  • Libertarian Soldier

Reporters say the sun shines out of your a*s. Do you believe that?
