    It’s amazing how fear can drive a market.

    And, who are the fear mongers?

      Heart goes out to the kids. But where was the protection that should have been in place. We have resorce officers in our schools and the kids love them. Teaches the kids to respect the law. Where are mom and dad when the kids are playing these games. Try teaching at home for a change, like it use to be.This gun was found in the car, he had two handguns with him.They should be looking at the goverment and the way they were raised instead of trying to take our right to bare arms. He alone has risen the gun and ammo sales. Think of all the people and taxes. No money comeing in and more peolpe out of work. More people on walfare. Just what we need, more to feed and take of. How about the ones that fail the background check when they lie. They go free to find guns on the streets. Believe me you will still be able to buy most guns on the street that will go into the wrong hands. Is that what they want.

        WHEN, oh WHEN, are people going to start learning how to use words (and the left click SPELL CHECK)? Let’s see, do we know the difference between “bare” and “bear”, when it comes to our cherished Amendment to BEAR ARMS? or what about “here” and “hear”?… or There, their, and they’re?

      • Robert Smith

        Venus Demilo would like any arms.

    redundancy has it’s merits….but
    guns are like fast cars and women….how many can you handle at a time ?

    • Hedgehog

      Dan, at 71 my reflexes are too slow to handle fast cars and I love my wife too much to go cheating. But I can handle as many guns as I feel like hooking up to a computer based fire direction center. Where have you been hiding? All those computer games aren’t just fun, they’re educational!

    ”…If guns do not kill people, but people do !…” why not talk about the responsibility of gun owners as well as the manufacturer’s. Guns should be sold with someform of lucking devise, that only the owner would be able to open, once a gun is in the hands of it’s new owner, it should be their # 1 responsibility to secure it. Just another approach.

    • http://jmcgraphicdesignworks.wordpress.com jcfromdc

      You said it brother (and so many before you), a, ” ‘lucking device’ “…. that a citizen owner in a pinch will be “lucky” to “unluck” (it’s UNLOCK, fool!) before he can defend himself, meanwhile the (sic) “unlucked gun” of the assailant will already be “in battery”. That “(sic) “hole” approach” is for the “hole” of the anal retentive who have never owned or operated a firearm! Not the WHOLE of the people who might need theirs at the ready, at a moment’s notice, which will be too late if the “lucking device” is LOCKED!

        jcfromdc;
        To add to that;
        and if you are doing your job as a parent and instruct your children in proper gun saftey and handling – whether you own guns or not – the locking issue pretty much becomes redundant.

    Let us hire our returning heros, they need jobs, they are our most reliable assets, lets put them in our schools to protect out children, after all they are more important than the President, we spend millions upon millions to protect him, why should we not use the best to keep our presous protected<

      The truth here is that they do not want well trained x-military people to do this job because they are afraid that after everything blows over that the police and x-military would out number the New Military that he is cutting back on and then the Government would not be able to control the people.
      I served in the military for six years, and when we came home from Viet Nam we were spit on, called baby killers and the VA offered no help with those that needed help with mental issues.
      I had to fight with the VA for eight years before i received any assistance for problems related to Agent Orange. It took the help of AMVETS and a letter to my Congressman to wake them up.
      As far as gun control goes what happened to those that were involved with the Fast and furious gun deal with drug dealers that cost a border guard his life?
      the Government has told so many lies that the average American has forgotten them.
      THE AGENTS THAT WERE IN COLUMBIA PARTING WITH HOOKERS AND DRUG DEALERS ARE STILL ON THE JOB. THE ONE AGENT THAT DID RESIGN WAS ALLOWED TO TAKE HIS RESIGNATION BACK NOW HOW DOES THAT WORK?

        Tibor: Born in Fantasy Land, lives on Fantasy Lane, and wants to retire to Fantasy Island, where everything is “perfect” according to his lights. Welcome to Reality Check 101. Much as I’m sure he’s a nice guy who wants the best for everybody, he’s been lulled into a vision that just ONE MORE Gun Law will solve a problem that the 28.000 before it failed to do.

    ref: 2nd, ‘well regulated’ = “controlled or governed according to principle or law” ie. the boss or sovereign. WE the people are the sovereign, and to make certain that the Militia is well regulated we share the individual right to arms sufficient to regulate the militia in any and all it’s forms.
