Obama Collects Campaign Money From ‘Bundlers’

August 5, 2011 by

Barack Obama broke records for campaign financing in 2008, as the President spent more than $600 million to secure his ascension to the Oval Office. The team for re-electing President Barack Obama has increased the push for obtaining financing, as campaign workers have looked to several rich donors for substantial sums of money, according to Fox News.

Though the 2012 election is still far away, Obama and his team have raised more than $35 million already from the biggest donors, individuals who are known as “bundlers,” the news source reported.

“A bundler is someone who collects checks from other people,” Susan Estrich, a former Democratic campaign manager, told Fox News. “They may be people who work for him, who hired him as a consultant or in many cases, want to do business with them.”

Some of these “bundlers” are high-profile men and women, including Goldman Sachs CEO Jon Corzine, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, DreamWorks’ studio head Jeffery Katzenberg and Comcast’s David Cohen, reported the news source.

Obama raised more than $600 million for his 2008 campaign, which is close to the combined amount of money spent by Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) and former President George W. Bush  in the 2004 election, according to CNN.

A bundler? –all politicians have people working for them during campaign mode that collect checks from donors.

And maobama claims to be for the “little guy”? Does anyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size actually believe that these wealthy people aren’t going to expect something in return for all their money? Also, what is going on behind the scenes when wealthy capitalists give money to a communist like maobama?

The Dems demonize Repubs as the party of the wealthy, yet look at Obama’s donations so far. He has received more money that all Repubs combined.

Well, I have some ‘stuff’ they can BUNDLE….

My idea for campaign finance reform… 1) only a citizen of the United States should be permitted to donate to a candidate, 2) the candidate must be in an election held in that citizen’s voting district, 3) the candidate should be allowed to donate as much as they wish, 4) all donations must itemized and made available for public view.

This way no companies, foreign interests, political action committees, unions, etc can donate to the campaigns and we would have the ability to see who is bought and paid for and by whom. If Soros (if he is a US citizen?) wants to donate all of his dough to Obama, at least we will know who Obama owes allegiance to… certainly not the USA.

The Republicans raised $22 million last week as if they don’t have bundlers. Those same Republicans for several years have refused to authorize Political Financial Reform. Apparently it doesn’t matter so are we to give a rat’s patute about this ongoing bread and circus?

How about a single pot for all candidates to use? The voters should have the opportunity to hear from all those who would like to run for office, not just the Republican or Democrat candidates. Equal time alloted to each and every candidate with time slots equally provided. Instead of the edge going to the candidate with the greatest funding, and obligations to those who provide funding, after the elections were over the winner would be beholding to any other than the voters.

All the money in the world won’t put Obama back in the oval office if the electoral college won’t vote him in!

And if that doesn’t work activating the second amendment will!

Does the word shook down ring a bell? Who in there right mind would give a dime to this idiot? Whatever happen to Obama’s pledge that for every dollar spent, cut a dollar in spending? He has never appilied he’s own new law. No one calls him up on it. This idiot is purposely destroying America, and as our ship is sinking we have fools cheering it on. When we are totally broke and the welfare checks stop, we will see are great country burning.

It should surprise no one that Obama has already paid for the position as president, and soon will be dictating to us,just like his friends overseas.Thats my opinion whats yours

    • Bob from Calif.

He has been dictating ever since he won the presidency.

If he wants to get the billion he claims he can get, he will need to pull in all of the illegal foreign contributions that he got in 2008.

  • Macawma

If they are giving to BO’s campaign, they must be bungholes, not bundlers.
