NRA Shot And Missed In 2012 Election

WASHINGTON, (UPI) — The National Rifle Association had dismal results in its effort to elect a gun-rights-friendly Congress and president, a non-partisan report indicated.

The campaign watchdog group Sunlight Foundation reported the NRA’s Political Victory, the political action committee of the powerful gun-lobbying organization, spent nearly $11 million on candidates in the general election, but received less than a 1 percent return on its investment.

On the negative side of the ledger, Sunlight said the NRA spent $8.97 million opposing Democrats and $186,867 opposing Republicans. The gun lobby spent $18,625 supporting Democrats and $2.62 million supporting Republicans.

In the presidential race, the NRA spent more than $7.4 million in opposition to President Obama and nearly $1.9 million in support of Republican Mitt Romney,

Overall, the NRA supported or opposed 66 candidates. Twenty-seven NRA-supported candidates won and five candidates it opposed lost. Sunlight said that tally represents 0.81 percent of the group’s total spending on general elections in 2012.

    YES – I SUPPORT GUN-RIGHTS.

ON MEMPHIS NEWS, I SAW A STORY ABOUT CAUCASIANS “SELLING-OUT” A GUN SHOP AFTER THE ELECTION.

UNFORTUNATELY, CAUCASIAN-GUN OWNERS HAVE A BAD IMAGE. National Rifle Association (NRA) SHOULD HAVE A MUTED ROLE IN 2016. REPUBLICANS DESPERATELY NEED TO SUPPORT THOSE ISSUES WHICH EVERYONE HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF – LIKE, THE RELIGIOUS-BASED SOCIAL ISSUES. EVEN, THE MOST LIBERAL PERSON HAS GRANDPARENTS WHO SUPPORT THOSE RELIGIOUS ISSUES. THEREFORE, LIBERALS MAY BE MORE UNDERSTANDING OF THOSE WHO SUPPORT SUCH VALUES.

AS LONG AS, POOR PEOPLE EXIST IN THIS NATION, THEY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR REPUBLICANS TALK ABOUT TAXES. THE TOPIC OF “TAXES” A-L-W-A-Y-S “BLOWS-UP” IN REPUBLICANS’ FACES. REPUBLICANS MUST BE ABLE TO TRANSMIT THE MESSAGE THAT “POOR” DOES NOT MEAN “LIBERAL.” ALTHOUGH ONLY A FEW ARE LEFT, REPUBLICANS NEED TO GET THOSE CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS.

YET, IN THE MINDS OF “COLORED” PEOPLE, CAUCASIAN-GUN OWNERSHIP IS SEEN AS THE “FLIP-SIDE” OF EVENING-NEWS REPORTS OF “COLORED” MALES GOING TO JAIL FOR VIOLENT CRIME – NRA “TURNS NEGROES OFF.”

SINCE THE POLITICIANS HAVE A HISTORY OF “BACKROOM DEALS,” SECOND-AMENDMENT RIGHTS CAN BE PROTECTED WITHOUT OVERWHELMING MEDIA COVERAGE WHICH LEADS TO “COLORED” SUPPORT OF DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES.

IN OTHER WORDS, SINCE POLITICS IS A “SLICK” GAME, CONSERVATIVES HAVE TO BE “SLICK” IN ORDER TO WIN ELECTIONS.

It’s not the subject of taxes that blows up in Republicans faces. The problem was that Republicans failed to tell the people how they are being overly taxed right now with the hidden tax called inflation. It’s where the price of everything goes up while our dollar goes down.
The issue that is used like a weapon against Republicans are social issues. As we seen from this election liberals use social issues as being a war against women, gays, the poor, etc. Republicans should be the party of fiscal conservatism – period.

      • CHRISTOPHER ALLEN HORTON

        “Ana,”

MY POINT IS, YOU NEVER HEAR POOR PEOPLE SAY, “I wish I had a tax break.” WHEN REPUBLICANS SAY IT, IT SCREAMS R-I-C-H!

OF COURSE, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING SUCCESSFUL; UNFORTUNATELY, WHEN THERE ARE POOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR JOBS AND CAN NOT DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT THE REASON WHY THEY DO NOT HAVE JOBS IS THEIR OWN INADEQUACIES, THEY FIND SOMEONE TO BLAME – REPUBLICANS.

Chris wrote: “UNFORTUNATELY, WHEN THERE ARE POOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR JOBS AND CAN NOT DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT THE REASON WHY THEY DO NOT HAVE JOBS IS THEIR OWN INADEQUACIES, THEY FIND SOMEONE TO BLAME – REPUBLICANS.”

There are many people who are poor, who are willing to work, and who just don’t have that must control of their destiny. I’m not AT ALL inferring that all those mindless Obamanoids fall into that category, but outside of that, I would agree.

As the poor grow less spiritual and become less self-actualized, they turn to the system; as the rich become less spiritual and more independent, they consider themselves as self-made men, godlike, and invincible. It’s what happens when ego dominates the mind of man. What is happening today is nothing short of a dilemma of biblical proportions and the sociopaths at the helm are racing to gain control of what’s left of humanity.

THAT, if anything, will be our downfall unless enough people wake up in time to realize that this mess has nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats; it has everything to do with greed and loss of spiritual and social values, and becoming disconnected from their fellow man.

    • BR549

      Chris,
Ana is at least right about that part, although I would have to say that were the Republicans to admit how inflation was a hidden tax, they would be letting the cat out of the bag relative to their own involvement in allowing the international banking families to surreptitiously acquire control of our government and the US population. As far as Republicans needing to represent fiscal conservatism, I wholeheartedly agree.

As far as the NRA, and I am a member (at least for the time being), the NRA prostituted themselves by parading speakers, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Perry, all Bilderberg attendees, along with Bilderberg denialist, Glen Beck, at the 2012 NRA Show. So, it’s quite apparent that either the NRA is woefully deficient in their research on these people OR they knew all about it, but went for the mileage.

Now, after having realized that they were both behind the 8-Ball on this issue, both Beck and Limbaugh were left having to fluff up their falling numbers by finally jumping on the “Bilderberg” issue …….. but only after they’d denied their existence and trashed their competition, who’d been trying to educate the population about it for over 10 years.

Does this mean that Republicanism is done? Hardly, however, what this country and both parties need are some REAL leaders who represent REAL values and possess some REAL honesty and integrity, and NOT this endless stream of lying, self-serving sociopaths on both sides of the aisle who’ve fallen victim to corruption.

Anyone seriously interested in gun rights should at least consider Gun Owners of America (GOA).

        “BR549,”

MY POINT IS, IN THE MINDS OF NEGROES NRA HIGHLIGHTS THE “white man with a gun” VERSUS THE “black man with a gun” ISSUE.

IN THE MEDIA, NRA UTILIZES CAUCASIAN SPOKESPEOPLE TO DISCUSS THEIR ISSUES. NEGROES WOULD SAY, “Why are white people so obsessed with gun ownership?” THEIR ANSWER WOULD BE TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM, “us.”

IN ADDITION, MANY INNER-CITY NEGROES OWN ILLEGAL GUNS. THEY CONSIDER THEIR OWNERSHIP TO BE AN ISSUE OF FAIRNESS.

HAVING THE KENYAN AS PRESIDENT MAKES NEGROES FEEL ENTITLED TO PUNISH CAUCASIANS FOR THEIR – AS NEGROES “PUT IT” – CENTURIES OF MISTREATMENT. THOSE NEGROES’ VOTE ON TUESDAY WAS, “PAYBACK.”

        • BR549

Chris, no, I hear ya. I can understand why blacks might not want to line up for NRA membership cards, although that didn’t seem to bother them at the former range I was a member of. I think much of that issue might just be because the NRA focuses around the 2nd Amendment and the 2nd Amendment focuses on the “the system” as fully functioning under the Constitution …….. that is, of course, when it isn’t being abused by politicians.

The slavery issue was, in the 1800s, slowly growing out of fashion. I think it was a point in human spiritual awareness where people understood that, although it had been practiced for millennia, it just wasn’t kosher anymore. Given time, I believe the 13th would never have needed to be written and the South would just found another way to do its agricultural thing. But Lincoln wasn’t this illustrious emancipator with some connection to the divine as he has been idolized; he was the 1860′s version of George Bush. Just as our current dysfunctional hegemonic foreign policy can only seem to function when it decimates foreign countries’ control of their own resources, that was what the North was doing to the South economically. The bulk of the “power” was in the North and the South was still seen as some flunkie support mechanism to justify and reward whatever the North was doing. Again, it’s the same mentality we have today and why we are seeing this return to that mentality that it’s OK to have a slave trade, only now it’s underground.

Dyncor and Child Protective Services in many states have been caught in this racket, so it seems that we had reached some LOW LEVEL peak of awareness about 150 years ago and have been slowly falling back since then. That’s my feeling anyway.

Blacks with guns don’t bother me; it’s any ignorant person with a gun that does; color has nothing to do with it. As long as blacks realize that the problem is so much larger than color or race, all we have is a lot more soldiers in the trenches against the globalists. What those globalists have been doing, however, is intentionally making issues about race and color and whatever they can do to pit us against each other. A divided cannot stand ……. and that is their game plan. Then we’re back to martial law and we will have learned nothing.

These globalist elites have created this situation where people can no longer trust the police and the police have no idea, who among the citizens, has any brain left and has not become part of the problem. The same holds true with the military; some are ready to stand by the oath they took to support the Constitution (and screw the president if he can’t abide by it) while others are poised to blow Americans’ heads off and are just waiting for the order to do so.

I’m rambling again, but somewhere amidst all this chaos, those of us down in the trenches (and that’s all of us not connected to those ivory towers) have to realize that we’re all in this together. If we start shooting at each other, we all lose. The elites want the population dropped, so any killing we do amongst ourselves falls right into their program ….. while they sit back and have cocktails.

Remember Kissinger’s statement to Alexander Haig, “Military men are dumb stupid animals used to implement foreign policy.” That’s what they (the elites) think of us, nothing but expendable cannon fodder. Stupid parents keep sending their kids to slaughter by continuing to line them up to “defend freedom and democracy” from whatever boogeyman du jour the elites manage to put in front of us.

        “BR549,”

SINCE THE ELECTION, I HAVE BEEN WATCHING C-SPAN EVERYDAY. “BR549,” OUR DISCUSSION HIGHLIGHTS WHAT I HAVE BEEN HEARING ON C-SPAN THIS WEEK FROM CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERALS. AMERICAN CONSERVATIVES – [I will add Caucasian liberals] – DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE DAY-TO-DAY LIVES OF “COLORED” AMERICANS.

“BR549,” YOU SAY, “Blacks with guns don’t bother me; it’s any ignorant person with a gun that does … ” I AGREE. BUT, FOR MOST NEGROES THE MOST IMPORTANT WORD IN YOUR STATEMENT IS, “ignorant;” YOUR USE OF THE WORD, “ignorant,” IMPLIES INNER-CITY PEOPLE OF COLOR DO NOT USE GUNS IN A WAY THAT IS APPROVED OF BY CAUCASIANS. EVENING-NEWS MEDIA “LEADS-OFF” WITH CRIME STORIES BECAUSE IT BELIEVES THERE IS GREAT CAUCASIAN INTEREST.

FOR MANY NEGROES, HAVING AN ILLEGAL GUN IS LIKE DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE. MOST OF THESE NEGROES ARE NOT VIOLENT. YES – THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW BY NOT HAVING GUN- OR VEHICULAR LICENSURE. BUT, GUNS MAKE ALL PEOPLE – REGARDLESS OF RACE – FEEL SAFE. NEGROES DEAL (PRIMARILY) WITH, “black-on-black” CRIME – NOT, THE “black-on-white” CRIME VISUALIZED IN CAUCASIANS’ NIGHTMARES.

SO, “BR549,” CAUCASIANS – INCLUDING DEMOCRATS – HAVE A “LONG WAY TO GO” IN UNDERSTANDING A “black” MAN WITH A GUN DOES NOT MEAN, “REVOLT.”

        • BR549

Chris wrote: “SO, “BR549,” CAUCASIANS – INCLUDING DEMOCRATS – HAVE A “LONG WAY TO GO” IN UNDERSTANDING A “black” MAN WITH A GUN DOES NOT MEAN, “REVOLT.”

I learned many years ago in the service that almost everyone, (MOST everyone, anyway) will act somewhat human and make some attempt to understand more intellectual or philosophical ideals on a one-to-one basis, but put the more ignorant ones in a crowd of their peers and they will inevitable act like sheep or cattle, and be an embarrassment to the human race.

I met many good regular blacks, who would go to the NCO club on pay day and do the jive thing with their brethren and yet still be able to function with anyone else, no matter what race they were. Then again, there were those; white, black, it didn’t matter, who were just flat out ignorant racist retards, no matter what situation they were in.

The issue as I see it, is that we are all being forced into a war, of sorts, where the rules are breaking down and we will all have difficulty discerning friend from foe. Good cops, bad cops; good soldier from bad; and good solid trustworthy neighbors from those who would break into your house and steal from you instead of asking you for a bag of rice.

What we all have to realize is that the enemy is not among us; some are hiding behind white marble, while others slither into their secret, heavily armed chalets hidden around the globe. And what WE have to understand is that, as they turn up the thermostat to some uncomfortable level, many people, who can’t get a bead on these elusive targets, will fall victim to frustration and attempt to take out that frustration on everyone around them.

One good place to start was having taken the Oath of Service all of us had take when going in the service. While some of these younger kids in the service of late are still caught up in the hype of their pimple-era video games, the majority of servicemen remember the oath they once took and THAT is one huge common threat we have among us, irrespective of race.

If people aren’t a member of Oathkeepers, they should be; whether military, law enforcement, or civilian.

        • BR549

          Chris,
Oops, that was supposed to be ….”one huge common THREAD we have among us.”

  • Right-WIng Junkie

You racists, one dumber than the next, are hilarious.
