More DHS Controls Coming FAST

December 3, 2010 by

More DHS Controls Coming FAST

Coming soon, to a sporting event, concert or other public venue near you — Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST) from the Department of Homeland Security. (The video below is from the DHS.)

This is truly Orwellian technology. And it’s just one of many programs DHS is working on to “keep you safe.”

In the days before Thanksgiving, the people staged a mini-revolt over the Transportation Security Administration’s dangerous and unConstitutional naked body scanners/peep show and the increasingly invasive enhanced body pat-downs/grope fest being conducted on innocent airline passengers.

The TSA backed down on the day before Thanksgiving by roping off most of the scanners and ceasing the pat-downs in order to thwart the passenger backlog that National Opt-Out Day would have caused. TSA denied it of course, but passengers noticed the scanners were out of commission, and long lines never materialized because passengers had nothing to opt out of.

Isn’t it curious how the tougher screening procedures were so vital to national security on normal travel days but unnecessary on one of the busiest travel days of the year? Not really. Not to those who understand that the underwear bomber — the type of threat TSA says it’s protecting us from — was helped onto his flight by a well-dressed Indian man with purported ties to the CIA and Israeli Mossad, had no passport and was on a U.S. State Department No-Fly list.

In other words, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s Christmas Day bombing attempt was a false-flag terror incident designed to frighten the public and steer them toward accepting an ever-increasing totalitarian state.

TSA director John Pistole says the TSA is looking at its options and may change the pre-flight procedures. But DHS continues to look for ways to steal your ability to move about freely without the glowing eyes of Big Brother on your every move.

Pass through the Green door. And go on to your event. Pass through the red door and go to meet your maker. All too easy now. And I cant say I didnt say I told you so. Commenting on past articles. Mike L.

    • Wanda Murline

Pretty soon, we’ll have the brown shirts standing on street corners to report your every move. After January 2, we need to get our new congress to do away with this crap and stop this madness.

      • Flying Eagle

Wanda I agree with you 100%, this is the beginning, the american people should open their eyes before it is too late. This is the same pattern of the former USSR and now Cuba. Congress is getting irrelevant and Obama will continue bypassing it (Congress), unless it (Congress) start stopping him (Obama). Notice all the radical revolutionary commies surrounding the President like the FCC czar Frank Lloyd who will be introducing the Fair Doctrine to control the Internet. Once Obama has everything under control he will declare he is a commie, then it’ll be too late to act.

        • truesoy

You said ‘introducing the fair doctrine’. It should read: ‘re-introduce’.
The fair doctrine was in place for many years, and the reason was to allow others with an opposing ‘view point’ to have access to the microphone, too. This was good especially when someone needed to clarify, or to contest the validity of any reference, comments, etc, attributed to them. Why would anybody consider this an infringement on our rights is beyond comprehension. If anything, it reaffirms our first amendment right!

          • Vicki

Allow me to direct you to the First Amendment. It starts out with a very simple phrase. “CONGRESS shall make no law ……” Now the last time I checked neither a website like this one nor a radio or tv station were “Congress”.

EVERYONE of you has access to your very own websites on dozens and dozens of servers for FREE. In fact you and I are doing that right now. We don’t need government regulations messing that up. Btw for those who don’t have their very own internet in their house and don’t even have a device to surf they can go to a library.

Oh and with respect to the actual “fairness doctrine” practiced on broadcasters here is a dissertation on why it can’t work.
            http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/1993/10/em368-why-the-fairness-doctrine-is-anything-but-fair

          • DaveH

You are misled, truesoy. The fairness doctrine was instituted for one reason only – censorship. Rather than put up with the expense of haggling over what is fair or not, most broadcasters will throw in the towel and not produce anything controversial. What is controversial? Anything that is contrary to what the leaders want the citizens to believe.
The First Amendment of the Constitution was created for just that reason. Our Founders knew the games that leaders play to silence opposition and insure their longevity.
If you Liberals want to hear the Liberal version of reality, put your money where your mouths are. Fund the stations that spout your nonsense.

        • Carole Howell

          Flying Eagle,
It is not the beginning, we are half way there and it is not being brought to us by Commies, it is being brought to us by Corporate fascists who will charge us for the rain water we collect in barrels and meter the air we breathe if given the chance, and considering the fact we have given them the right to freely buy our politicians they already have been given the chance.

This is not a Republican/Democrat or a Conservative/Liberal issue, this is an American concern.

Fighten and trouble are my middle name, if you see me a comin ya better step aside, one fist of iron (conservative) and the other of steel (liberal) if the first don’t get you the other one will. It is time we all Unite to save our country from these goons. Unite America!

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Carole howell,
good use of Tennesee Ernie Fords 16 tons, only it goes like this, If you see me comming better step aside, twenty men didn’t and twenty men died, one fist of iron, the other one steel, if the left one don’t git you then the right one will!

          • http://none Mike

Carol I love Tennesse Ernie Ford too. And 16 tons was about the injustices brought about by the mineing companies aginst their employees. There was another good book about the clay county wars I think about a miner revolt that the union and the goverment tried to crush. Where the president ordered in the army against the citizens.Mike L.

          • Average Joe Patriot

Don’t listen to the detractors, they even have the lyrics wrong, at least according to the LP I grew up on. Good stuff, Carole, if I may say so, and well said.

      • truesoy

Wishful thinking! In case you forgot, Dept. of Homeland Security was the brain child of a republican president. And do you think that a republican Congress that you conservatives just voted in, is going to do away with it?. Fat chance. Next time be careful what you wish for!; or who you vote for. Rule of thumb: any agency the government creates developes a life of its own.

        • Brushface

If it was Bush’s brain child it was the Democrats that were more consistent in supporting the TSA through the years. Most of the comments here make the writers the best potential TSA agents, since they seem to see into the future (with a very negative outcome) & could tell a terrorist with their astronomical intellect. I too wish there could be a less intrusive way to help the flying public through our checkpoints at airports. However profiling has been a no-no from the beginning, and that seems to be Israel’s answer. Where are the good old days??

          • JC

We can’t profile…no no no…THAT would be facing reality.
Instead we have some new commandments…

•Thou shalt not accurately describe Sharia law. See Geert Wilders. See Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff.
•Thou shalt not criticize any Islamic doctrines. See Geert Wilders. See Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff.
•Thou shalt not report on and/or criticize the funding of terror by Islamists. See Rachel Ehrenfield.
•Thou shalt not disparage – or even depict – the Islamic Prophet Muhammed. See the Jyllands-Posten Danish Cartoons. See South Park.
•Thou shalt not criticize the appropriateness of building any mosque, anywhere. See the Ground Zero Mosque debate.
•Thou shalt not admit to any politically incorrect thought(s) about Muslims, even if you immediately disavow it (them) as “irrational” and denounce it (them) on air. See Juan Williams.

And goodbye Sweden…a nation who’s people I always admired and enjoyed…have been sold down the river by Political Correctness.

          • truesoy

Profile , Whom?. We are a nation of many races, and religions, and it is not easy just to profile a person by the way they look. Do you think that only ‘middle eastern’ indeviduals are likely to commit a terrorist act?. Think again. Was the ‘shoe bomber’ a middleeastern looking guy. No, he wasn’t. How about that Oklahoma bomber. He blew up a federal building, remeber?, or how about that guy that flew a small plane into an IRS building, recently?. Those were terrorist acts carried out by people you probably won’t suspect because they are in your own ‘image’, right?. See, it is not that easy as it might seem, and the TSA people are under a lot of pressure to provide the security we demand while pleasing the traveling public. God forbid and a terrorist was to ‘squeeze’ through; you guys (conservatives) will be the first ones to denounce the administration for the ‘lack’ of proper and effective security at the airports.

Ps.-When comparing the U.S. to Israel’s way of doing it, you have to consider their geographical location and customs. Also it has to be recognize the difference in the size of Israel, approx. 7000 sq. miles (approx. the size of a large county in the United States) verses the size of the United States at approx. 3,700,000 miles, and the diversity of our population. I’m not saying that, yes I like it, and its the perfect solution; but what else can be done? It is not easy.

        • TIME

          Truesoy,
Sorry Bubba, the whole idea was your Vise Presidents, that would be Joe Biden ~ who also wrote the Patiriot Act.
Learn the facts before you blow crap out of your mouth.

          • Carole Howell

            TIME,
Dont you get it, they are all in on it pal, stop with your blame game stuff, enough has been done to us, now it is time for us to come together, and stop it.

You can not be stupid enough to think this was Biden all by his freaking fraking self. Get a grip on the the severity of the problem and stop your backbiting crap. We need to stop all this infighting and start working together to work on a solution, PEOPLE PLEASE. understand the precariousness of our position here.

Biden was part of a committee and chosen to write out what they decided on. What they as a group decided on. Stop the nit picking. We are sinking fast here. The ship is sinking and you all want to argue about who dropped the barrel that knocked the hole in the bottom, we can settle all that latter. But first lets stop this ship from sinking we are all on this same vessel together okay.

          • TIME

            Carole,

What I know, (and thats not to sound like a know it it all,) just the facts, “it would make you crap your pants”,

So what I posted will stand for the value it has. It was a responce to someone who’s not clued in and yet espousing worthless rhetoric.
Where as your responce to my post is little more than hollow rhetoric with no value, much the same as the post I responded to. This is not a game sweet lips, it makes no differance if others were in on the writing of said PA, & TSA rules, the facts are he was the one where the “BUCK STOPS.” AKA ~ the leader of the group.

            But thanks for your thoughts.

          • Al Sieber

As far as I’m concerned, they’re all traitors.

          • truesoy

The facts? I told you the facts. Just ’cause you don’t like it it does not make it any less factual.

        • Carole Howell

          Coal Miner,
That was great and thank you for sharing. It was very scary and very true.

        • Earl, QUEENS, NY

DHS from a GOP POTUS?? The GOP Congress which Americans just voted in?? You want us to blame the GOP?? NO WAY!! We know some RINOs and Republi-crats have contributed to our other problems – economic, etc. But which party is really politically correct?? Which party complains about waterboarding and wants to mirandize terrorists?? Which party doesn’t even like to use the words terrorist or terrorism, but instead ‘man-mad disasters’?? Ridiculous but true – it’s the leftwing Democrap Party!! And let’s not forget that GW Bush DID keep us safe after 9/11/01. But thanks to the mistake of millions of stupid Americans on 11/4/2008, we now have a POTUS who goes around the world apologizing for America; in addition to thwarting efforts by states to protect our borders!! …..And as to Big Brother vs. our right to privacy, what about BHO and his democraps’ health/hellcare reform?? We already know that, unless it’s repealed, it will be a financial disaster which will ruin the best health care system in the world. But why aren’t more people complaining about the fact that the government will have access to our personal and health records?? Remember – except for a handful of RINOs such as Alaskan senator Lisa Jerk-owski, the GOP wants to do the right thing and repeal this ‘Big Brother’ health care monster!!

          • Kate8

            Earl, I hear ya.

      • castaway

You are dreaming, if you think congress will do away with this. They are the ones behind it. Your government wants to have TOTAL CONTROL OVER YOU! That is the new reality. Your government is the ENEMY!

        • Lewis Munn

Orwell’s “1984″ should be required reading by all citizens. Maybe then we can tell the illegals more easily!

But…with this equipment shown, can you imagine the COST to have enough units and the times wasted if we had this for EVERY public event? Process 100,000 people through in how many hours? Days?

Imagine Sundays at churches, especially those who teach Fundamental Christianity, and so are considered enemies of the State. Is the failure of our schools to teach full American History, and logical thinking, part of the plot against our civilization?? I never learned a lot about WWII until I toured a display in Singapore that called the spades spades.

I have heard it was bulldozed recently to make was for a Casino!

          • Kate8

The really scary thing is that people obediently line up like sheep.

They now have technologies that, literally, read your thoughts. Those games that tell you what you’re thinking are just the tip of the iceberg.

Check out this article on how they are developing a race of ‘enhanced humans’, or transhumans. For more info, search Thomas Horn on the subject.

            http://69.84.25.250/blogger/post/FORBIDDEN-GATES-ENHANCED-HUMANS-THE-NEW-(NEPHILIM)-ARMS-RACE.aspx

This is really scary stuff, and it’s real. Things are being developed which are so far behond imagination as to be no less than hell on Earth.

We mere mortals no longer interest TPTB. Their new toys make us utterly obsolete.

          • Average Joe Patriot

Kate8, I read your link. Like many, I’ve read sci-fi which predicted scenarios like this for half a century, and we keep getting closer (and since so much of it is either proprietary or Top Secret, or both, the general public has no idea just HOW close or far we are yet). You say the scary thing is that people line up like sheep…I say the scary part is we already know how to manufacture sheep, what they’re doing now is learning to transform humans into sheep (or wolves, or chupacabras, whatever They want), genetically.

Sure, we know they’ve been doing it to us for years with fluoride and drugs and TV, MK Ultra mind control, junk food, junk education and junk politics, false religions, etc. But these have merely been attempts to make us sheep-LIKE (and other things, depending on their objectives). Now they’re well on their way to making the human race into literal sheep (and yes, other things), with sheep brain-wiring (or other-than-human genetically altered parts). And as one of the think tank government advisors says, even if any government were terrified of these scientific developments, they’d have to go along so as not to fall behind other national or, worse, corporate competitors.

The centuries-old dichotomy between the Haves and the Have Nots, the Elite and Their Subjects, is becoming one of Superhuman vs. Human, Transhuman versus Subhuman. One can imagine Them (the Controllers of civilization as we knew it) with superhuman powers, and us, being left normal and/or made subhuman. I see what you meant (in an earlier thread) about there being no contest.

I still say there will be a contest, alright. Not sporting and not pretty. And very much like some of the sci-fi I read as a teen, and many of the Hollywood movies being made now (the “Terminator” series being a simplistic example, “Matrix” another).

How’s the old Chinese curse go?

“May you live in interesting times?”

          • Vicki

Be careful with that curse “May you live in interesting times?” because if you are alive you will also live in those interesting times.

          • Kate8

AJP – This current attempt at world domination is being patterned after attempts gone before. Just as in Hitler’s time they were intent on creating a master race and wiping out ‘inferior’ ones, they are at it again. This time, they have much bigger, scarier technology.

I remember reading stories of reported sounds of groaning coming from underground facilities in New Mexico, like suffering. Some say that people who disappear are often taken to be experimented on, among other things. They get their subjects from somewhere, or they wouldn’t have come so far. You know that if they do it to animals, they will do it to humans, too, just as the Nazis did.

Eventually, it will come around to bite them in the b*tt. Too bad they get to inflict so much misery in the meantime.

Man will never stop in his quest for greater knowledge and power, the desire to be like God. For one thing, feeling powerless, as most people do, really sucks.

If man CAN do a thing, he will. The sad part about it is that, while such endeavors could be used for the benefit of everyone, what they WILL be used for is greed, power, control, destruction…

I am inspired when I look around and see people who are loving, giving, upright and just. Why is it always the evil ones who rise to power?

Well, duh. Because good people don’t seek to control others. Not even for their own good, if that were even a plausible concept.

          • DaveH

          • Average Joe Patriot

Okay, this part’s to Vickie (no kidding, I knew that, kiddo, I recognize how much it sucks) and Kate8 (yeah, I really get how much it sucks…I live in New Mexico, you might be speaking of Dulce.)

Working backwards, Kate, good people may not seek to control others, unless someone seeks to control them. Then as far as I’m concerned they’ve carte blanche to deal with the situation appropriately, without going insane of course. Whatever it takes to avoid being controlled beyond their stated wishes. Unless they’re obviously breaking a legitimate law.

Next, the “evil ones” rise to power because no one truly righteous (a word choice, I’m probably no more righteous that the next guy) no one who isn’t normally moral and ethical, truly, actually understands evil. (Hmm…that was too…simple.) Evil’s a definite, separate, THING. A separate mind set. It’s consciously amoral and without ethics. Evil is not unaware of morality and ethics, evil makes a decision to violate morals and ethics (I explain later how I know).

But, we who aren’t evil…which is most of us (don’t let the state of the world confuse you) we don’t “believe” in it, can’t believe anyone would actually think or operate that way, with such a separate mindset. I, however, have had close dealings with such people (yes, plural) since my earliest childhood (some bad family acquaintances I’ve seen often when they weren’t smiling and putting on airs, really bad and I met a few more along the way) I know they exist. Evil ones. Since I’m now over six decades old, and they are still around (that part of my family, they huddle together), I’ve some unfortunate wisdom on my side (and non-evil siblings to corroborate the facts after years spent apart) there are evil people who are simply f**king evil. They’re hard to figure out, even though I grew up with them, but they’re from the Outer Limits of evil.

They literally don’t know any better than to assume that you are too, but they really think you are more clever at hiding it than they. Sorry to whack you in the face with the horrible truth. They think you’re just like them, only better at it. Hence the incessant battle, and attempt to glom onto you, learn your secrets. (I can say in my observations, it’s not directly contagious, but being too long in the presence of evil can or will mess you up–if you’re in an evil-controlled environment too long, you will go with the flow, under sufficient physical and mental duress–but you can get out…well, by getting out).

How do the “evil ones rise to power?” I already said it. They’re unopposed because those who should, simply don’t get it. Yes, one’s physically and psychologically and mentally threatened (and the evil ones DO work on all known levels simultaneously, the better ones, anyway, some just beat you up), but since other less aware victims are going along with the program, you’re furthermore socially pressured.

So, you’re being pressured on four levels. Yet, on a spiritual level, you resist (Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, one’s mother or older brother, whomever). So the evil ones do their best to destroy your resistance on that level too. Because, yes, they want the power to control their environment (it’s a survival trait even frogs exhibit) and they, the bad guys, perceive you as part of that environment. Any resistance must be crushed. But they hit the spiritual wall, whatever form your’s takes.

They can chain you in a dungeon, your spirit is unbreakable (not always true of individuals in a dank cell, but often true of cultures and countries, as the Vietnamese proved to the French, the Americans, the Chinese), yet the “evil ones” convince themselves a people can be broken because a person was broken in a dungeon. These are the same @$$hole$ who think everyone is like them, underneath, and are baffled by people with spiritual credentials. I don’t mean God, I mean the person, using whatever he or she needs for back up, or nothing else at all. Their god may help them, but they’re the one standing up.

And so, yes, after inflicting all this pain it comes back to bite the perpetrators in the butt, after inflicting all this pain. Karmically, it will, if someone like Al Sieber or Dan AZ doesn’t show up first (in which case it becomes what John Lennon famously described as “instant karma.”)

Or perhaps on a good day it might be you or me. We might say a few kind words first, give him a few moments. Before putting the $#!+head evil guy out of everyone’s misery and relieving him of his jail keys.

Try as we might to understand it, we can’t. Evil’s evil. There are evil people. They can be charming, and they can and will take over a company, a corporation, a nation or a continent by any and all means available to them, and that puts them ahead of the rest of us and they are determined to get there.

Because we might desire to do the same thing for honorable and civic, responsible reasons, and they (the evil ones) may mirror our efforts and speak well, but sooner or later one sees sociopathic behavior, even psychopathic behavior. By which time it’s rather late in the day.

Then you know you’re viewing evil, and you cannot vote down evil. You don’t vote out Idi Amin or Pol Pot or Josef Stalin or Adolf Hitler or Vlad the Impaler. And you certainly don’t vote out Benny Bernake and the rest of the bankers who work for the Fed, or Goldman-Sachs, or the Treasury Department, Timothy Geithner. The rip-off has been clear, by whom is clear, and no, you can’t vote any of them out. They are destroying you, too bad. This is the face of evil.

Evil is evil is evil, nothing precisely like it, no accounting for it from our side of the fence. It’s separate from us, it’s shape-shifting, but it is as evil does. You can perhaps pause it for awhile, but until you understand pure smirking malignance, you’ve small chance against it.

Welcome to the voting booth after watching the evening news. Look for the button which allows you to vote to take control of our country’s monetary system out of private unauditable international banker’s hands.

            You want evil? Watch Bernanke.

          • Kate8

AverageJoePatriot – Well said! I really enjoyed that post.

Interesting how evil is always driven to push forward, crushing everything in its path, while goodness chooses simply to be, until it suffers heavy losses. Then it pushes back, and on and on it goes.

Ancient wisdom teaches that there are Universal Laws operating in duality, or manifest existence. One is the Law of Opposites: every extreme has an equal and opposite extreme (and everything in between). This is also shown by the swing of the pendulum.

If this is so, then there must be goodness to the same degree as there is evil. And what we call ‘reality’ tends to conform itself according to our perception of it, both individually and collectively. When we really understand the depth of darkness, we get an idea of the magnificence of Light. If we are to magnify the Light, we must then shift our focus, see it, BE it.

Opposites are the same, only differing in degree. It is what gives play, choice, struggle and triumph. And we are governed by it as long as we choose to play. It is all about choices.

I think that, just as evil rules the manifest realm, goodness rules in the spiritual, because in spirit the illusion of duality vanishes. It is from here that we can draw our strength. Psalm 91 describes this as dwelling in the ‘secret place of the Most High’, where evil ‘shall not come nigh thee’.

I believe that is the whole purpose of times such as these.

            Blessings.

          • Jeff

Speaking of the super-human android soldiers and such supports the idea of maintaining self defense weapons for personal protection. Evil minds may construct armor to protect man-made human+dog like creature, but a 12 ga slug or the bumper of a pickup truck can take it out.

      • http://personalliberty Rocky

You mean the PURPLE SHIRTS (the SEIU shirt color).

There is no need for the brown shirts, schools are already teaching your children to tell on adults for all kinds of diffrent things. Big Brother is watching you through your children. We can thank George W, for all this isanity with the Patriot Act. Now Obama has picked up the ball and is running with it.

        • Carole Howell

Wow! this is the most interesting thread I have read on here yet. Thank you all.

Was it Kate8 that brought up the human experimentation? I put nothing past the military, not after the experimentation they did on some of our troops in Vietnam, then they were using some strange drug combos to try and make super soldiers. The results were horrible for the subjects.

          • Kate8

Carole – It gets worse. Soldiers are being “enhanced”.

There are actually soldiers who have reported that they were chipped, as in chips in the brain to control them.

We would be stupified if we knew all the things that are going on. The elites consider us their personal livestock, and they think they have the right to do to us as they will.

There are even documents stating that the military has the right to experiment on the American population, as in bio and chemical warfare. They have, and they do.

  • FreedomFighter

Do not let Obama and the left create this private army. We are looking at the first steps in the process, stop the “brown” shirts now.

Freedom Fighter remember “Pray to God and pass the ammunition”. “We the people” are the true army of the republic who are keeping an eye on what Obama and his commies henchmen are planning against us, the american people. If George Soros, Barak Obama, Cass Sunstein, Frank Lloyd, Van Jones, Valery Jarrett, et all, try to pool a fast on us trying to mobilize their “ZPESKNAT STORM TROOPS”against “we the people” they ‘ll have a big surprise, the army of God ‘ll fight them tooth & nail with the bible in their hands and the truth as their most powerful weapon.

          • Kate8

Your bullets are useless against the forces being wielded. They can take you out without you ever knowing you were in their sights.

We have only one hope now, folks, and that is The One Hope. And I don’t mean Odumbo.

I’m telling you again, it is on the inner plane where we will win. You can’t fight them toe to toe. We have to align with a Force greater than they. Satan always tries to imitate God’s Power on the physical plane, but that’s all it is: a cheap imitation.

If we learn this, we win even in death.

Wellsaid Kate8__hey_ did ya go see Becks BROKE at the movies?

          • Kate8

Angelw – Unfortunately, I didn’t. I’m not much for travel these days.

I’ll bet it was outstanding. I hope to hear more.

He ought to webcast these things, as well. More of us would have access.

It was awesome kate8_-I’ll repeat what I had said, farther down on the thread____glad we went__we met some wonderful people, all scared as hell__we decided together, we’d be courageous (which is being scared as hell, but doing what we gotta do anyway!)and get prepared!

          • Kate8

AngelW – Did Beck talk about things he doesn’t talk about on the air? If so, like what?

I was taken aback by his back-peddling yesterday on TV. He made a point of reiterating his apology for saying that Obama is a racist, that he was wrong to have said it. And also that he believes that Obama was born in the US and is a citizen. Gag.

          • Claire

Kate8–My husband must have seen it too because he mentioned it to me. Sooner or later it seems they all backpeddle.

Kate8, Some, but he’s still a lil’ tight lipped_ I have a sense, he’ll be revealing more info after the Holidays as he indicated!

          • Kate8

AngelW – Nothing gets aired without the approval of TPTB, especially on any media outlet.

I was reading about one of Jesse Ventura’s shows, where he had mentioned an ultra-secret society of the elite’s that few ever heard of, and what they were doing. He was forced to remove all reference to it.

If we hear things, no matter what they are, it’s because they allow us to.

          • Angel Wannabe

Kate8 __I had a conversation with a guy last night, he’s a gay liberal. And calls himself a “Social Liberal”, but also says he’s a “Fiscal Conservative”__I atone that to the fact, he’s gay and wants his rights regardless, so he’ll stay liberal.__He was talking about voting this guy in, and this guy out__and I pleasantly reminded him it didin’t matter who was voted in, there is two agendas in Washington___One they allow us to see, and the one that counts behind the scenes that runs the country._-He looked at me as if he’d seen a ghost.

    • truesoy

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but, Homeland Security and all those attributes attached to it, was the creation of a republican administration. In other words, it was your man Bush, and not Obama, the creator of this monster.

      • ValDM

No, it was YOUR man Biden who wrote this piece of garbage back in the 90′s. Bush only implemented it.

        • eddie47d

          You reap what you sow!

      • Kate8

truesoy, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there are Progressive totalitarians on both sides of the aisle.

This has been under development for DECADES. Presidents are just puppets. Front men. These are the same powers who were behind the rise of Hitler and all tyrants for the past centuries.

It’s so lame that you libs always give Odumbo a pass and use Bush as a default for everything he’s created. Bush didn’t start building a gestapo brigade, BTW, nor did he station NATO troups on US soil, as far as I know. All I do know is that they take their marching orders from the same thugs, and if you would just open your brainwashed eyes you’d start to get a clue.

        • Average Joe Patriot

Kate, some of us know we’re just getting carpal tunnel reiterating this (I wonder why we keep doing it). This Bush vs. Obama, Red vs. Blue obsession has been foisted upon us as though we were oblivious rabid fans at an essentially meaningless school basketball game, while They (the Organizers) pour accelerant behind the bleachers and lock the exits.

I’m fairly sure some of the people here just won’t get it; you’re presenting them with a whole new learning curve, and their minds are already topped off with meaningless, emotionally-charged political nonsense, spoon-fed to them with bunting and balloons.

I begin to wonder whether we’re being duped as well, into trying to wake up hopeless sleepwalkers rather than cutting our losses and simply locking, loading, and tossing more sandbags onto the barricades. Might be a better use of whatever time remains to us.

I know, I do get sucked into it too.

          • Kate8

AJP – How right you are.

The leftist loonies seem to be multiplying here, too. I wonder if they’re all located in the same basement. LOL.

The truth is, if we all just ignored them they’d likely give up and move on to greener pastures. They are here only to provoke, and they do succeed, every time.

        • Carole Howell

As I said before, it no longer matters who is in the WH, or who controls congress. They are all bought and corrupted.

          • Kate8

Carole Howell, Thanks. I think most of us get that.

As I have said before, it doesn’t change the fact that, among the masses, there IS much ideological difference. Completely opposite approaches to life.

Yes, it is these differences to which politicians pander, seeking to tip the balance of power. When they appeal to people’s innate sense of entitlement and envy, it works every time to render them lazy, mindless and loyal. And marches them, willingly, straight in to their trap of enslavement and death. It’s the oldest trick in the book, and humanity still hasn’t figured it out.

        • truesoy

          Kate,
Sorry I’m a few days late on my reply, but: If what you say has any truth to it, then, who are these people?; that has been the burning question I’ve been wanting to ask you. Could you be more specific. Is this another conspiracy theory?. You know that a lot these sort of things out there have no basis. Althoug I’ll welcome your answer.

          • Jeff

            Soy,

These people are haters of God. They worship Satan. The only thing that matters to them is what can they get out of it. They will never in this life be satisfied. Their greed knows no bounds. The apostile Paul tells us in the Holy Scriptures who these people are: Romans 1:18-32.

      • Kate8

truesoy – What kind of moniker is that, anyway?

Arm yourselves to the teeth. Stock up and let’s not play the rest of the Nazi game by letting them take our guns. Get to know your neighbors / organize. They will go too far and they will spark a shooting match.

      • Average Joe Patriot

A shooting match. Sparked. I’m afraid it may be a great deal more.

Whether we, many of us, like it or not JC, I fear you may be correct. I live among people who aren’t “arming themselves to the teeth,” mostly they’ve just always lived that way, since the days of Apache raids, cattle rustlers, Mexican banditos and revolutionaries, mountain lions, and bears. But most in the rest of the country should heed such advice as yours.

I might go down in the first volley or two (never step out my door unarmed), unless I see them coming first, but if I do go down hopefully it will not be alone (wouldn’t want my neighbors to have all the fun, and believe me it could get wild and weird out here).

But what I fear most is facing US kids. I’ve no special problem with when they open the border to the well-armed drug cartel armies our governments have sponsored with their ridiculous War On Drugs, or if they send UN or NATO troops (well, no problem beyond having to shoot and run on my own land). I’d just prefer not to have to kill overzealous and undereducated American kids on my property.

But given the circumstances and necessity, and the fact that they would be violating the Constitution, in violation of the oath they took, and in violation of my state ownership rights, I’d do what an American citizen is expected to do in the face of armed criminal or extra-territorial trespass. Defend American soil, defend my ground, defend family and holdings against illegal armed intruders.

Is this wrong for an American to say or do? Perhaps, if he’s declared a terrorist. Which is just what these DC @$$holes would do, try and turn the existence of a vocal dissenter into another Ruby Ridge or Waco situation. Problem is, in my neighborhood? They’ve hundreds of candidates much like me. They’d best come up with a really good story for declaring war on the southwestern “bootheel” of the State of New Mexico. Which is what they would essentially be doing.

One realizes how “terroristic” all this may appear in plain print in our day and age. Imagine how the Declaration of Independence must have seemed to King George of England. I’m only talking about my property rights under New Mexico state law. I’m sure it’s not unlikely I’d be invaded under the newly written laws of La Raza, or a suspension of the posse commitatus ruling, or someone altogether else’s new legislation. But all laws are enforced at gunpoint and my law says please remain off my land unless invited. A law enforced at gunpoint, if need be. Or, I will drop a Molotov cocktail down your hatch at midnight if you really want to play.

Would I do it? I’d have nothing better to do. Could I? In such circumstances, it certainly would be interesting, for all concerned, to find out.

I’ve said it before, however: Let’s not assume that our own kids, if brought home from obvious foreign oil adventures-for-profit, would attack Americans on American soil. Sure, some would. And some, trained and armed and cognizant of their Constitutional oath to America, would not. And that result might also be interesting, for all concerned (I’m sure most of them are aware of the HS attempt to legally disarm vets as potential home-grown terrorists, word must have spread like wildfire throughout the ranks).

        Ugly clash there, perhaps.

Personally I favor the AK 47 down here, one of the more popular weapons among the South and Central American cartels, because I hear many have filtered up into Old Mexico. I figure after a firefight there may be some ammo lying about. The buzzards will show me where to look. After that, the old Winchester 30.30. Hereabouts, after the Great Crash, you’ll be able to trade that ammo for free-range beef, deer, and elk jerky and vice versa. Fresh eggs, too. A clean 30.30 bullet will be a new coin o’ the realm.

        • Kate8

AJP – Your feelings and ideas are no different from those of our early revolutionaries. That spirit arises once again.

The term ‘homegrown terrorist’ has been coined by those in power. But they are the terrorists, both homegrown and foreign. We need to really get that, that submission and compliance are not on the table.

My nephew is in the Navy, a nuclear technician. I sent him info on the oathkeepers, but he didn’t respond. I know he voted for Odumbo, but last I spoke with him he was dismayed with the direction of our nation. My family is conservative, but the new generation now entering adulthood is of a different mindset no matter how we tried to teach them. They just don’t know what we know. They don’t hold our founders in such high esteem.

I’d hate to be starting out today, facing the things that lie ahead. I fear for my family, because they have no comprehension of true hardship. Nor can they see the contrast between how things once were and how they are today.

I recently read a quote that struck me to the core: “Our compromises are our children’s normal”.

          I felt ashamed.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Kate8,
I want to quote you a letter that was in the DAV magazine this month.
“Our nat5ions veterans have a deeper understanding and appreciation for our right to vote than your average Americanwill ever understand. Our Veterans have seen what happens when countries do not allow certain groups to vote or certain people to have their message heard. They have seen firsthand when countries use fear of violence to persuade voters to vote certain ways or not at all. We need to remind America that our brothers and sistersdied for this right that so many of them overlook. We need to remind them that voting is our most important right guaranteed by the United States Constitution. We need to show them that casting your ballot after hearing ALL sides of the story is what makes this country so great! Mathew Foster, Grand Prarie TX
I can only pray that this is still true in the future!!!

        • JC

Average Joe, we’re on the same page.
I have faith in American Kids but if they should

    • truesoy

Where do you get your information from? If all conservatives, and it seems that way, are as misinformed as you, then, we’ll have a major problem in our hands. This is a reason why we have a crisis in this country.
Ps.- DHS was created by a republican, Bush. I thought you might like to know!

      • Chris

Your right both Bush and Obama have put terrible things in place for the American People.

If they put these scanners all over the country there will be a huge backlash. I know there’s many people who won’t take it. Myself included.

I don’t want to be scanned and intergated daily, for ‘terrist’ threats, when I’m more likely to be killed by a bee sting than a terrisist.

Maybe the TSA should protect us from bees it would be a better use of our money, our dignity, and it wouldn’t set up a system that is ripe for abuse.

TSA should be our new honey bee stings protector! For extra tax money they could throw in protection from hornets and biting ants!

        Go America!

        • Kate8

Christin – These madmen no longer even make a pretext of respecting our dignity. And they are having fun watching our useless protests.

          • Kate8

            Sorry. Chris.

          • Angel Wannabe

Kate8 I feel the same way everytime I send my representatives an email, I feel like they are laughing at us.

          • Claire

Angel– You know, I feel the same way. I truly believe they think we are too stupid to realize what the hell is going on. And this honks me off even more. I can tell you I will not give up sending them emails and letters. Never. We all need to bug the crap out of them on a continual basis. I used to get a reply in the form of a photcopied letter. I don’t even get that anymore. I get nothing.

          • Kate8

Claire, I’ve noticed the same thing! Lately, I get no response from them at all, not even the ones I voted for. This includes federal, state and local! What’s up with that?

I also can’t help thinking that, having voiced my opposition to things they are doing, my name goes on a dissident list.

Heaven help us, but we can’t back down now.

          • Claire

Kate8–We will never back down. Ever. Remember, there is safety in numbers and basically we are here for the same reasons. So we will continue to bug the hell out of them.

        • Average Joe Patriot

Chris, didn’t you get the memo? The Powers That Be in fact ARE protecting you from bee stings. It’s a logical certainty that Collapsed Hive Disorder, or whatever the acronym-manufacturers are calling it, has drastically reduced the number of bees available and therefore likely to sting you. Our world governments, hand-in-glove with Monsanto and their GMO plants and accompanying pesticides, are on the job, statistically protecting you from anaphylactic shock.

Saving you and the rest of the agrarian-based civilized world for slow death by starvation.

          • Vicki

Besides if Chris stays at home there will be less chance of being stung by what bees are still out there. Of course those pesky back yard gardens that attract bees and other insects just have to go.

        • http://none Mike

Welcome to the list lol. I know it isnt funny but well if I am going to be on a list I want it to be in the book of life. This shell is only temporary anyway. I will enjoy what I can while I am here and meet my maker when he says its time.I belive what I belive and now will untill the day I die. Unlike some out there I finally made peace with it and if it comes to that I will have lived my life to the best of my abilities to be a good person to family and friends. The real ones anyway. I will not bow to this because its of this eartly master anyway.Mike L.

          • Kate8

            Mike – Amen to that.

BTW, Scripture tells us to ‘hide ourselves for a time”. I have pondered that for some time, and am not sure what it is saying.

            Any ideas?

          • http://none Mike

Kate, Ill take a crack at it. That passage was directed at the early christian church. This was at an early stage of christianity at a time where both the jewish people and the Roman empire were persequiteing the christian. They were directed to Hide themselves away for a time to build their stength and knowledge in Christ’s teachings and to re emerge when we finally converted a Roman emperor to christainity. This can be parrelled into todays socity in this way. We as christians are being persequited today. Though not in a physical sense yet.Even thoes that are supposedly of the faith have false teachings in their houses of worship. Ever notice how the MEGA churches have begun to look down on their communities when they fight against them for anexing land?We have Pat Robertson representing us on television. That man cannot utter 2 sentences without asking for money. We have the Muslims out there as well who have a mandate to convert us or kill us. Much like the Romans and Jews of old.Jews of today have a more conservitive attitude twords us.We are at a time in christianity where we once again hide ourselves away in little pockets where true teachings are taking place. We are again to emerge when the time is right for us once again to lead. We as true christians are taught to love the sinner and pray for him/her and to hate the sin. We are to be humble and to serve others less fortunate than ourselves. Most of all we are to stand on Christ’s teachings and be a light unto the world. Mike L.

          • Kate8

            Mike – Makes sense.

The words actually come from the O.T., but I understand that they are prophetic to our time as well as the past.

          • http://none Mike

Yea I goofed a bit there should have read it first. I was thinking it came from Hebrews but my pastor set me right on it tonight. But I think the logic still applies. It was the jews who were being persiqueted by the Egyptians at that time. Looks like just about everyone has had it in for christians and Jews at one time or another. Mike L.

They are saving us from Freedom and Prosperity, Al.
Even the most Ignorant Liberals should be able to pick up on the fact that the larger Government grows, the more problems there are for them to “keep us safe” from. It is a self-perpetuating mechanism that only benefits the Politicians and other Government employees.
But eventually, even the leaders will lose as they drag our economy into the abyss. I’m not sure they care, as long as they are more prosperous than the rest of us. Witness Cuba or many other Socialist countries in the past and present. One would think that the leaders wouldn’t want to kill the Golden Goose. One would think wrong.

        • Kate8

DaveH – I listen to the Dems in the Senate blaming the R’s for holding up the passing of the tax extension, etc. Blame, blame, blame. Using the decline of our economy in the past decade as proof that tax cuts don’t work…more blame, blame, blame.

Lies, lies, lies. Tax reduction hasn’t produced a thriving economy because they’ve gone all-out to over-regulate and squash all incentive to keep jobs in America. In fact, they’ve given tax incentives for people to move businesses overseas. They’ve done everything possible to set us up for collapse across the board.

I’m so sick of their twisting and contorting facts, covering their true intent to destroy America. And liberals hang on their every word, repeating the lies over and over. They are shameless.

This world has gone stark, raving mad.

GIve up on the Liberals. They are too damn stupid to do anything with them. The wolf is at the door and what do they do! Invite him in for supper, his next meal, and their last. That is the reason our forefathers left the liberals behind in England as it was well known they were useless.

  • TIME

Folks, I told you this was coming, If YOU don’t make a stand now you will never make a stand, WAKE Others UP… Wake up as many as you can NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don’t get on the bloody stick NOW, in 3 years you will be nothing less than Cattle. Pigs or Chicken, and if your not quite sure what they do with these animals when they are RIPE.

Let me tell you, its dinner!

Can you all PLEASE WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!

    • Al Sieber

TIME,I’m wide awake, locked and loaded, and spreading the word. I think they will try a “False Flag” on us soon to bring this in, and Obama’s private army is already here, along with foreign troops.

      • Angel Wannabe

Al and TIME___Some are waking up, we went to the Movies for Becks BROKE last night__met alot of nice folks, who are scared as hell. I told them, I don’t like it either, but we can’t afford to be scared, we’ve got to be prepared!

        • Kate8

Angel – That’s a big part of the problem. People are scared, and they turn away from things that are too scary. We are a nation of wimps.

Today’s mush-heads have been taught that atrocities never happened, that TPTB are benevolent, that they are about what’s best for us. While I understand how this is more comforting than the truth, it is a false sense of security and a trap.

Those of us who have been willing to face the terrifying truth and walk through the fear will be the best prepared for what’s coming.

          • Angel Wannabe

kate8, Whatever lies ahead, we’ll all be forced to look, even the wimps. All I can say I ain’t going down easy!__May the Good Lord be with us!

          • Claire

Angel and Kate8–I won’t go down easy either. This probably sounds goofy but I am no longer afraid of anything. Let them do what they will, and no doubt they will. I hope and pray they will find out they have bitten off more than they can chew.

          • Kate8

Claire – I know what you mean. I feel the same way – bring it on.
In the words of Patriot Patrick Henry, “Give me liberty or give me death”.

I’m sick of government intrusion. I refuse to be just another mind-numbed sheeple. Who the heck do these madmen think they are? They have overstepped the limits of human decency, and consider themselves gods. Well, Satan does, indeed, rule the physical realm, for now. But then, we read the Book and know the end of the story.

Or should I say the Beginning!

            Godspeed.

          • Claire

Kate8 and Angel: I am proud to know strong women like the both of you. You both have made my day.

          • Angel Wannabe

You too Clair, you have strength too! :)

          • Kate8

Claire and Angelw – I admire you both, and I always enjoy posting with you.

Those who face mountains of adversity and prevail become strong in character. I would guess that God has been preparing us all along for this time.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Angel,
Here’s hopin you, Claire and kate8 continue to “overcome” as I have kinda gotten used to post to all three of you! God Bless and Gods speed!

          • Kate8

Joe H – I count you among those I most admire here, as well. You are one in a million.

Godspeed to you, too, fellow patriot.

          • Claire

            JoeH–Back at you, my friend.

          • Al Sieber

Kate8, Clint Eastwood said in a interview not long ago that we were a “Nation of Wimps”, and we needed to wake up. strange you said the same thing, you’re right.

          • Angel Wannabe

JoeH, Right back at’cha friend! :)

    • Carole Howell

Won’t do much good to wake people up if you cannot also unite them. You cannot do that by insulting them (I know, I know I am bad myself) but the truth is you need both wings to fly straight, they balance each other.

      • Kate8

Carole – People will only unite when both sides perceive the threat. Until that time, the polarization will continue to increase.

        • Claire

          Kate8–Your words are very true.

        • http://?? Joe H.

Kate8 you are very right, and right now it seems like the conservatives and libertarians are the only ones that percieve this fact!!

  • Goose

Someone’s finally noticing this? I got patted down entering a Toby Keith concert near San Antonio, TX back in 2004. Had to take my pocket knife back to my vehicle, before I could enter. Now, I’m a 57-yr-old retired sailor. My grandfather gave me my first pocket knife, when I was 4, and I’ve been carrying one, daily, ever since. For the record, the only person I’ve ever cut with it was myself, and THAT wasn’t on purpose!

Oh, and FreedomFighter……. W created this private army. Obama is, merely, expanding it.

    • truesoy

Good, for they need to be educated. Why, I don’t know; maybe because unless you were asleep under a rock for the last 10 years you should know it was Bush the ‘creator’ of Homeland Security.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT SHOULD REALLY SCARE THE HELL OUT OF THE REST OF US: THAT THESE FOLKS ACTUALLY ‘VOTE’, AND THEIR VOTE IS BASED ON WHAT THE ‘THINK THEY KNOW’. PART OF THE PROBLEM ALSO IS, THAT ‘THEY DON’T KNOW THAT THEY DON’T KNOW’.

      • Angel Wannabe

truesoy__ and if Bush would’ve just set on his azz and done nothing after 9/11, you would’ve complained about that too_Some folks ya can’t please can ya?

        • Kate8

Angel, Sadly, the democrats I know vote based on one thing: the check from the government.

I just spoke to a retiree on Social Security who was lamenting how she hopes unemployment gets exented again soon, because she collects both! With no intent of ever working again.

Too many people (Lefties mainly) couldn’t care less about the state of our nation. Just keep the money coming and their votes are assured.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          Angel,
It’s just like I said about New Orleans. If Bush had went in without invite by the govornor, he would have been impeached. Since he waited for the invite, he doesn’t care about the people of New Orleans!!! He can’t win on that one!!

          • Angel Wannabe

Joe, I get annoyed about NO and the debacle Katrina and blaming bush___I remember seeing thousands of school buses swamped up to they’re emergency doors, that could’ve been used to bus people that had no transportation the hell outta there!___What happened to the brain dead officials down there?_-They obviously had no evacuation plan in place, they knew it, so to save face, they Blamed Bush!__The idiots!__Yeah we’re the dumbazzes though?!

          • Claire

Angel–You are correct. Katrina was a disaster–made worse by the people that were in office at the time in that state. The mayor appeared to be a real dingbat. Maybe I am wrong on this, but it appeared to me that none of them knew what they were doing. And if I remember correctly, didn’t the governor refuse help from Bush?

      • Carole Howell

        Truesoy,
What do you expect what with all the people like Heil Hannity, Lush Noballs, Beck and all the others who constantly try to divide the people in this country in so many different ways, and they are very successful at it.

        • Claire

Carole–I used to listen to some of the radio shock jocks but I don’t anymore. A part of me thinks that these people contribute to the problem. They are keeping us divided, none of them want Americans to unite as a whole, they only want Americans to unite for a certain political party-the Democrats or the Republicans. There is so much talk about the NWO–could it be that these people are part of the scheme of things? There is no way we can beat the system without being united. I believe Americans should unite–all of us– and present our case to the powers that be. After all, we do outnumber them. It can be accomplished, it is a matter of IF every American wants to join hands and go for it.

        • Kate8

Carole, Funny you didn’t mention any of those on the Left who seek to divide.

          You betray yourself.

          • DaveH

Carole betrayed herself a long time ago, Kate.
What good does it do, Carole, to cup your hands over your eyes and ears? How can you ever learn anything that way?
I have listened to arguments from all sides, and I certainly don’t believe something just because Beck, or even John Stossel (my hero), says it. But I can tell you one thing – the Liberals very rarely make any sense. Their statements are based on emotions and desires rather than facts, and they generally only are accepted by those who lack knowledge and base their decisions on hopes and dreams.
To wit, the True Conservatives (Libertarians, not right-wingers) allow their policies to be accepted voluntarily by the citizenry. The Liberals, on the other hand, must force their policies on the people because they know not enough people would buy into their hare-brained schemes voluntarily. Liberals first choice is to use the Federal Government to ply their mistaken policies as they know that on a state level when their policies fail the other states would quickly learn from those errant Liberal states. If Liberal policy is so wonderful, why can’t they let the citizens see them in action in those states before they are widely adopted?

          • Kate8

            Well said, DaveH.

I know where Carole comes from. But she’s been trying to ingratiate herself here somewhat. Liberals can never hide their true colors for long.

That liberals have to work behind closed doors and protected by the media should be a stunner to any sane sane person. Oh wait, it is.

          • Al Sieber

Well DaveH, I was wondering about Carole myself.

        • Average Joe Patriot

Oops. Don’t get sucked into this, Carole. You’re right about all those clowns, now come up with some clever names for Matthews, Olberman, Maddow, Blitzer and the rest of the liberal crowd of clever windbags.

I think you’ve already said elsewhere in this thread that both sides of the political equation are shills for higher PTB, paid to play us. Which they in fact, are. Cover your bets, girl.

(PS: I don’t think you’re a troll, I could be wrong but I’ve read some of your stuff, yet you may be trolling in deep waters here, without waders. Cuidado: Pirhanas Aqui.)

        • Average Joe Patriot

Indeed they are. It’s mainstream media. The Right has a lock on your blood pressure, like a jolt of strong coffee and a cigarette. The Left wants to slow you down with fresh air and herbal tea. The centrists want us to drink decaf and puff electronic cigarettes (which actually work, by the way, nevermind).

Let’s go three dimensional. STEP OFF THE LINE AND JUMP INTO THE AIR.

Good. You’ve, for the moment, made it out of the linear matrix. Your critical thought processes can now begin, Grasshopper. You landed. Look at your feet. You are off the linear grid, yet you are still only in the second level of dimension.

(No, the pebble remains in my hand. First you must learn to THINK in two dimensions, then later in three. It will be a long time before you can snatch the pebble.)

We’ve been trained by the PTB to think on one dimensional level, left, right, center. Either/or, or perhaps some wishy washy place in between. But completely linear, Left/Right. Aristotelian logic. Yes/no, on/off, good/bad. Supposedly, us, the dumbass sheeple.

The people who apparently run $#!+ around here know better, they operate the board, which is actually two dimensional (plane geometry). They can move the end points of left/right around on the board, and bring stuff into play, down into the one dimensional level, that no one in the first dimension saw coming. They can introduce stuff which will impact the Left/Right line at any point, skew, stretch, curve, warp… The political machine at work.

The people who really run $#!+ can drop anything they want onto the board from a three dimensional level, level two players never know when it’s coming, but when it hits the board they’ve got to deal with it, either store it or use it on the linear (first dimensional) playing field.

So, who really owns the board? When you can answer that question, Grasshopper, then you can snatch the pebble from my hand.

          • Average Joe Patriot

Sorry that response belongs somewhere else, but this thread is getting out of control, so who give’s a $#!+? Worth considering, however.

        • Claire

Personally, I will not let any party take control of my life. Not anymore. I will not be brainwashed into thinking their way is the “only” way. I have a mind of my own and I will not be swayed into believing their diatribe. I do not “blame” a certain party, how can I when both parties have caused this chaos America is in? I have voted for Democrats and Republicans during my entire life, and I am disgusted with all of them. The plight America is in did not happen overnight–it has been coming on for decades. Blame a certain party? No, I blame myself for voting for these jerks. I helped to put them in office, all of us did. So now we are paying the piper. What do we do next?

          • Average Joe Patriot

Wrong, Claire. I did not put them in office. Instead, for years, I voted no. And was of course faulted for not buying into either suck-@$$ party platform. (“Well, if you didn’t vote you’ve no right to complain!” goes the tiresome refrain. I get it, my fault they jerked out my fingernails, I was given the chance to vote for which ones they’d take the pliers to next, and I refused to participate in the process.)

When I did finally vote, I voted against the other guy, the lessor of two evils (I’m basically an Independent, although the last time I registered it was as a Repub, thus by state rules I could vote in the primary for Paul, the Elder). Or else I voted Libertarian, though we all know they never had a shot and while I hold with Libertarian principles, it seems half the horses they bring to the gate are running on three legs.

But no, Claire, or anyone else who considers group-think to be the ruling force and hence some sort of group-guilt-trip we must all embark upon. I didn’t do it.

And if you think for half-a-sec: we have everything from illegal income taxes and a privately owned national bank, to electronic evesdropping to healthcare “reform” all of which the American public were vociferously opposed to, and we got them anyway and they are NOT going away anytime soon. Don’t tell me my vote would have counted or that the “majority” actually decides or has for a long time actually decided anything in this country.

What’s happening in our airports and bus and train stations (courtesy of the likes of Chertoff) is just more of the same (and is probably a diversion from something worse, anyway–like the Chinese and Russians dumping the US dollar, a MAJOR development–considering the titillating MSM airplay about grandma and baby groping; the whole thing starts to look like a put-up job). We’ve had no say for quite some time. When you’re surrounded for a group grope by people with guns, you either submit, or take it to the next level (and the first time someone actually does, they will use that as justification for doing it all in the first place).

Or you can always vote for the other party, who just happens to have brought all this $#!+ into play in the first place. Or vote for the previous party, who set the stage before that. Or…the administration before… But, you either get it or you don’t.

You’re still playing onesie twosies, folks.

Rather, being played. We may have through group complacence brought it upon ourselves, fell for crap our forefathers-and-mothers would’ve stuck a musket or pistol in these bastards’ faces for, but no way in hell we voted for it.

          • Kate8

            Well said, AJP.

BTW, a few days ago, early morning, a shiny new van pulled into my driveway (I’m well off the main road). It sat there for a short time, and then backed out. I made a note of the license number: 6EYE**6.

I tried to find out to whom the van was registered, but can’t do it in CA. It is an obvious custom plate. Who chooses EYE?

It’s bugged me ever since. I wouldn’t have paid much attention except for the EYE part, and no one EVER comes back here.

          • Claire

AJP–Good post, and I agree with what you said. I always felt I should vote even though most of the time I did not want to. My post was mainly about the Democrat and Republican parties, and I guess I should not have included everyone into the same category. Now I have egg on my face. Sorry.
Although I have voted for a third party in the past, this is the first year that I voted for several third party candidates. Here in Illinois, I have become weary of voting for the “lesser of two evils.” It is a tragic state of affairs.

        • Angel Wannabe

Truesoy is still in the “blame bush” phase. Eventually truesoy will notice that bush is not currently the President. I have often tormented my liberal friends with the observation that the CURRENT administration has not exactly rushed to eliminate all the anti-freedom actions of the previous RINO.

        • JC

Gee SoyBoy…thanks again for the Parrot act. You got anything to say worth hearing or that we don’t already know?
          Rrrrrraaaack! Bush did it! Rrrraaaack!

      • Kate8

CalWest – I don’t think it matters what you call it. The differences between those things are mostly rhetorical. Tyranny is tyranny, and the effects are the same.

      • Brushface

“It is not socialism OR communism…IT IS FASCISM!”
        AKA “Bosom Buddies”

        • Dale on the left coast

Fascism is socialism with national limitations. Both are “left wing”. Fascism is government control of “private” industry; “communism” (international socialism) is a government seizure, confiscation, and total control of private property (nationalization).

The most common form of “Fascism” is “corporatism”. A “corporation” is an extension of the state. It is an “artificial” entity (existing only in contemplation of law) created by the state. It is not the “principal” of the state (the People), but its “agent”, called by attorneys a “person”. Its purpose is to serve (raise revenue) for the state. A corporation does not have “rights”, its powers are enumerated and limited in its corporate charter. As the “agent” of the state, it must obey the commands of its (state) “principal”.

We are just a declaration of “emergency measures” (war powers), away from total govt control. The Head of State becomes Commander in Chief of the military and rules by decree (executive orders) during the duration of the “emergency”.

          • Carole Howell

            Dale on the left coast,

You would have more credibility if you would recognize Fascism can come from the right or the left. It is actually common for it to come from the right, that is not even a rare thing.

          • Kate8

Carole, Fascism can come from right or left, but most often it comes from the left.

Jog my memory here. Give an example of right-wing fascism in recent times? Say, the past century or two.

          • Vigilant

I’ve always found it convenient to view the spectrum of political persuasion not as a line but a circle. The top of the circle would be pretty much what’s considered “centrist” in a free society. Go to the right or left and you have conservatism and liberalism respectively. As the more extreme forms of each philosophy reach the bottom of the circle, they meet.

Thus, it doesn’t matter whether the bottom of the circle is approached from the left or the right, the end result is the same: statism.

      • Carole Howell

        CalWest,

        Thank you.

        • truesoy

          Carol,
I, and all the people I’ve spoken with, agreed with you that ‘facism’ is a ‘right wing’ derivative; and that it is the direction the ‘right’ is moving this country to.

  • Claire

Big Brother?? Big Brother has had eyes on us for years. These issues have been going on for decades. I am disgusted with the “power plays” our government tries to enforce and it is only getting worse. I used to think safety precautions are/were necessary but now it is to the point that they are overstepping their bounds. I will never give up my freedom to do as I please. I will go where I want to go, do what I want to do, and I will not allow invasion of my home and property. I have had a good life and I will keep it regardless of what the government tries to enforce. This is “big talk” for a little person like me but this is what I believe and feel in my heart. I am sorry to say this, but it will not make any difference who is “in” the White House, the Congress, etc., most of them have apparently agreed with this issue one way or another or they would have tried to prevent these acts of control over Americans a long time ago. All I can say is watch your back, and “watch” the politicians—all of them. I am suspicious of all politicians that are in our government. They are going to have to prove to me that they are “for” America and all Americans. And so far, they have not accomplished this. At least not to me. I have said this time and time again. Nothing is what it seems.

    • Al Sieber

Claire, I agree with you 100%, I feel it’s too late, but, that’s my opinion.

      • Claire

Al Sieber—It may be too late for the “powers that be” but never too late for Americans like us. Never give up the ship–stand up for what we believe in–and let us not be defeated. They “work” for us, not themselves. They have gotten by with their shenanigans far too long. They trying to run us into the ground, and we must not let them succeed. We have voices, we must let them know we will not be beaten into submission. The problem is that we must be united, stand up against them as one united force, not divided. The old adage–divided we fail is very true. One must forget “party affiliation.” If you stop and think about this –”they” have done a good job at keeping Americans divided.

        • Al Sieber

Claire, you’re right, we out number them, and we still have the 2nd amendment. we need to get away from the Democrat/ Republican parties, I have. well, off to work, have a nice day.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Al Sieber,
The problem with the second as it sets now is that with required registration, they know where each and every weapon bought after like 1960(?). Unless you bought it from an estate or relative or at a flea market, then they know you have it!!! If they decide to take over, they will come to you!

          • Claire

Joe H — the way I look at it, let them come. My husband and I will be ready.

          • Al Sieber

JoeH, all my weapons I have were bought or traded from friends. I have no physical address, I live way out in the mountains, Dan Az. knows about where I live, very rugged terrain, no law, they won’t come out here. very few people know where I live, by invitation only. the only people around are other miners.

          • http://none Mike

Al, Sounds about like where I live here in Tennessee. I can walk out my door and be in the foothills of the smokies in about 10 min by foot.Three rivers and 2 lakes within a horse ride of my community. We arent miners here but the decendents of Dirt farmers. And If I had too I could do it again. I am Cursed/Blessed with a high I.Q and an insatiable thirst for Knowledge. But I was also ADD before they knew what that was. I jokeingly tell people sometimes I am the worlds worst nightmare. A hillbilly with a 180 I.Q. But I learned long ago about love and respect from an older generation I was blessed to be raisd in. Angel Knows I have given her some of my background. I look on whats happening today with a proufound sadness. I see these people every day who have put their faith in things. Not family friends and loved ones. We as a race are capeable of many things but we seem to be hell bent on destroying ourselves. All I can do some days is pray and lift up my eye’s to heaven and place it in his hands. And feel sorry for thoes that may never know the peace that brings sometimes. So with Love and respect to all in this holiday season. I wish you to be happy in all things.Mike L.

Mike, some people can’t stand to be away from civilization, I love it, all my life I’ve worked out doors, I wouldn’t have it any different. my closes neighbor is 2.5 miles away, over a small mountain range thats why I live and work here. guess I’m a “Hillbilly too”.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Al Sieber,
It’s not that I like civilization so much, it’s where I work. I make, as a welder the most money in a urban setting! My wife’s job of 26 years is here as well!!

          • Kate8

Living in the wilderness is great, but it isn’t the protection it once was. Trust me, with satellite surveillance, they know where you are.

Have you looked on Google Earth?

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

          • Al Sieber

Kate8, alot of miners out here live underground, believe me I can hide. I’m not worried about them coming after me, they’ll go for the cities first. I’ll give you the Lat. Long. in the next post, see if you can find me. my e-mail address says N. Nevada, only Dan Az. knows about where I live. speaking of Dan, my son is here from Williams, I’ll let him know where you work, if you don’t mind, and hook you two up.

          • Al Sieber

            Kate8, here’s the location, 114*27’30″Longitude, 35*00′N.latitude (the 35th parallel).

          • Al Sieber

JoeH, you have to go or live where the work is, once in a while I need a good welder/ fabricator. God Bless You guys.

          • Claire

I work and live in town–and now my husband is retired. We always planned to retire and go back to the country but it did not happen. With all of his health issues there is no way we could move to live on my property in the country which is an hour’s drive away. In the country a hospital is 30-35 minutes away and it is a “rural” hospital that is not equipped to handle major issues. Here in town a hospital is 10 minutes away. We have no choice but to remain in town. We are disapointed, but at least my husband has a better chance here in town if one of his aneurysms bursts, and when he goes on dialysis.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Al,
            back atcha bud!!!

          • Kate8

Al – I used to have Google Earth – my brother downloaded it for me. I never really knew how to use it so I uninstalled it quite a while back. It took up too much space on my cheap laptop. And I am definitely low tech.

I also know several miners who live in the mountains a couple of hours from here. One lives halfway down a huge canyon, never leaves, and gets snowed in in the winter. He has friends who 4wheel food in to him every couple of weeks. And he’s pretty up in years now.

      • castaway

Well then Al,lets at least die trying and have dignified death.

        • truesoy

Then again, you voted for the republicans. Good going. That will really fix the problem. The joke is on you!

          • judy

truesoy-what is your problem you sound just like the obama administrateion everything is Bush’s fault! For heavens sake he hasn’t been president for over two years now GET OVER IT! I the WH wanted to they could have changed any of Bush’s policies that they didn’t like, they chose not to! We are heading into the day when Obama will say now that we have everything I want I am now the KING or the Dictator and you will do what I tell you. I did not vote for Republicans I voted for the people I thought would do a better job for us the people who pay their salary-therefore if I dont’ like what they do I can vote them out! You sure sound like one hell of a liberal you should move to Washington you’d be right at home.

          • Claire

Democrat? Republican? One and the same, in many ways. The joke is on all of us.

          • Kate8

Claire, Right you are. Still, there are many who just refuse to see it.

But then, when your existence depends on keeping certain forces in power…

          • http://?? Joe H.

            judy,
change it?!?!? They strengthened it!!! They made it WORSE! I am in wait-n-see mode right now as to what the new guys are gonna do. If they don’t drastically change things and we can still vote, I will vote against ALL OF THEM!!

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Judy,
trusob not only sounds like Nobummer, it’s his kid!!!

        • Al Sieber

castaway, I would rather go out fighting for my freedom, then die begging on my knees.

          • Claire

Al Sieber– I agree. Geez, I have agreed with a lot of posters today!

      • Robert S

The American people have to put the fear of God into these weaserls. After Congress breaks for recess we should organize and picket outside their homes. This is legal. No laws brokn. Them little rats will be scared out of their wits.

        • Lewis Munn

For some time I have been using the term “DemoPublicans”, as they are not really opposed to each other, only to Conservatives and honest men.

Too bad our education does not teach people to see truth, but teaches them the two headed party is the right way to go!

        • Kate8

Robert S – It would be interesting to see how long it would be before those picketing would be dispersed or arrested.

This is not the true America any longer.

        • Kate8

Robert S – These weasels are going to go along with whoever carries the biggest stick (and dangles the biggest carrot).

That is not us. They have nothing but contempt for us.

They know that they can hitch their wagons to the world masters and (hopefully, for them) live large while we perish, or go down with the unwashed.

Which would you expect them to choose?

      • Angel Wannabe

I’m sorry to say, I feel that too AL.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          Angel,
Do you remember when bush tried to pass Amnesty? what did we do? We started a campaign to show them we would fire all of them if it passed. What happened?? IT DIDN’T PASS!!! We Can Do This Again If We Get Organized!!!!!Start writing, start Emailing, Start phoning!! don’t stop till they get the idea we will fire them if they don’t start representing the PEOPLE!!

    • Joanna

      Claire,
      you are absolutely RIGHT!!!
it is going on for a long time…
and the best conditions to go fast forward are perfect:
      UNEDUCATED AND FINANCIALLY CHALLENGED SOCIETY!!

    • Carole Howell

      Clair,
      Very well said.

      • Claire

Carole– And I agree with much of what you say.

  • Joanna

I am very sad to say, and I am sure some of you will disagree with me..
…every socialistic, communistic entity in this world have the army of brainwashed forces…
    Hitler Jungen
    Polish ZMS
USSR (I forget now their factual name)
    Obama’s army…
the purpose is to insult people, scare people and recruit as many as possible to dance to their music…
Sad and hard times are coming to us…
and what you think the WikiLeaks will do ???
before you know it it will be government controled entity and sites like this one are not going to exist…
    …can anyone spell:
    SOCIAL CONDITIONING?!
that is exactly what is happening!!!
    been there, done that!!
I just hope God does not forget about us seeing Black Friday’s ‘performance’

    • castaway

Wikileaks esentially blew their cover, and not they are really worried and pissed. All the leaks prove what I have been saying, that our government is as corrupt as the criminals in prison. They are just to united, and powerful from our tax money, to be punished.

    • eddie47d

Obama’s army? What about Cheney’s army; he set the course for acceptance.

      • Lewis Munn

Eddie, eddie, eddie….are you able to go back into the past and change what is, or are you just happy to compound the error as much as possible?

It does not help to blame the past UNLESS you learn thereby.

So far I have seen little if any change in you and your positions supporting what is happening NOW as the evils of the past, and justifying it by hollering about folks in the past.

If you did not just love it, you would join those who want to change the future, and have hopefully learned from the past. But I am afraid you have only learned to complain, not clean up and change.

        • eddie47d

Lewis,Lewis,Lewis.,Cheney was the big pusher behind the Patriot Act which has helped set us on this course. This Act needs to be changed by acknowledging where it came from. If Obama is adding to it then he needs to be taken to task on what we are loosing.

          • Angel Wannabe

Eddie, we’ve been trying to take Bambi to task, if you take your head out your azz you may be able see that!

I’m with Lewis, Eddie. Finger-pointing does not change anything. If you want change, quit wasting your time arguing about who caused the problem, and instead devote that energy to correcting it.

          • Carole Howell

            eddie47d,

You will be happy to hear that INTERPOL may issue a warrant for that creep’s arrest sometime in the near future on bribery charges, he was indicted in Nigeria.

Eddie, The fact is Cheny and his defence contractors are still behind this. I remember seeing something like these trailors posted outside of bases in Iraque. He also worked hand in hand with Rove on the defeat of true conservitive canidates during the last election. We are trying to clean our house of these Rino’s as much as we can. Here is maby where you and I differ on an opinion.I think Obama was more than happy to have the framework for the Patriot act in place when he came to office. All he really had to do at that point was to start implimenting it. Where we want to take him to task is the violation of basic human rights. No way when we pass from place to place do we need cameras watching our every move. I personally bont want to have to pass a bio scanner every time I want to go to an event. And never should we bow to being X-rayed if we want to go on a plane. Mike L.

          • eddie47d

Vickie; Obama’s 1 year extention should expire on 4/26/11. I didn’t agree with the Patriot Act or his extention.

You can probably change that to a “know”. The evidence is in the vote.
            http://educate-yourself.org/cn/patriotact20012006senatevote.shtml

One of the few times he did NOT vote “present”. Sigh.

(The astute observer will note that Obama did NOT vote for the Patriot Act since he was not a Senator at the time. He did however vote for its renewal in March 2006 and then as President he voted with his signature as President to extend some of it yet again.
Pretty clear that he liked it.)

Eddie It’s time to move forward.

        • eddie47d

Liberals have been saying that for 100 years. Glad you are on board.

          • DaveH

If you call forcing your way on others and stealing their money “moving forward”, Eddie , then I guess Liberals are indeed moving forward.

    • truesoy

And who do you think gave you all that. Lets see:

Dept. of Homeland Security- compliments of Bush
The Patriot Act (it technically abolishes the 1st and the 4th amendment which by defautl abolish the 2nd)- compliment of Bush.

Note: When you claim to be a supporter of the conservative agenda are you aware that: communism is a conservative system, and that just like conservatives in the United States, they don’t like ‘liberals’. And they don’t like the free press, unles it says ‘nice things’ about them. This is similar to the conservatives reaction to the free press in the U.S., and they only like the one that says ‘nice things’ about them, Fox News. The similarities among the conservatives and the communists are many; their major difference is that the communists do not believe in free enterprise. So, in all fairness we could probably say that conservative brand in the U.S. is closer to fascism. Many self-identified conservatives are unknowingly promoting a political system in which the won’t be happy campers…… Food for thought:… it was ‘liberals’ that fought for many of the civil rights enjoy by many today, like the woman’s right to vote. This a right that while taken for granted today was opposed by conservatives at the time; but don’t tell ‘conservative women’ that. Talk about biting the hand that fed you. The same goes for other civil rights/liberties enjoy by many, including ‘conservatives’!!!.

      • eddie47d

        Thank you for reminding us.

        • Vicki

          Yet again. :)

      • DaveH

Only one Democrat Senator voted against the Patriot Act in 2001.
And they had their chance to abolish it under Obama in 2009, but didn’t. So quit pretending that the Democrats believe in Freedom. They don’t.

      • Carole Howell

        Truesoy,

You made some very good points. I have talked to Russians who immigrated here years ago and they all said we are beginning to look more an more like the country they thought they had escaped.

As long as we keep dividing ourselves, we are doomed.

        • Kate8

Carole – The problem with that is that you liberal’s idea of ‘uniting’ is that conservatives cave in, compromise, cross the aisle and do it your way.

Until liberals start to give up on their idea of force and control, I say that conservatives block, obstruct and hold to no and HELL NO.

When conservatives have power liberals whine about having a voice, being allowed input, yada yada. And they get it.

When liberals rule, they completely shut out and shut down the right. They use every dirty trick in the book.

Unite? Unless liberals smarten up, it will be when hell freeze over. There is no compromise to freedom.

      • Vigilant

        truesoy,

In equating Conservatism with communism, you are obviously one stupid SOB. Learn to use a dictionary, learn to read, and learn about history, in short, learn not to be such an obvious liar.

“Food for thought:… it was ‘liberals’ that fought for many of the civil rights enjoy by many today, like the woman’s right to vote. This a right that while taken for granted today was opposed by conservatives at the time…”

Take a look at http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/1920womensvote.html if you want to see who voted for the 19th Amendment in the Senate: it passed 56 to 25, i.e., 36 Repubs and 20 Dems. for, 8 Repubs and 17 Dems against. You can thank the Repubs, for the most part, for women’s right to vote.

“Talk about biting the hand that fed you. The same goes for other civil rights/liberties enjoy by many, including ‘conservatives’!!!.”

Democrats consistently voted against ALL civil rights laws, from Reconstruction through the most recent and famous ones, the Civil rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Repubs voted 83% on these bills, the Dems almost 20% less.

So yes, the Repubs, like the Founders of our Country, were liberals in their thinking when they went against the Dems to bring in civil rights and women’s rights. In short, when it comes to individual liberties, the Repubs will fight the good fight, as the true Repubs are doing now, to prevent further erosion of individual freedoms the Dems would take away from us.

        • Kate8

Vigilant – Liberals have never let truth get in their way.

Great post. We’ve reiterated this history over and over here and, still, the Left comes back with the same old lies.

Conservatives have always promoted equality for all. Slave owners were democrats, the KKK was democrat, and democrats opposed civil rights. They only got involved when they saw a movement to exploit for political power. Blacks at that time were members of the Republican party, which was started as a political voice for freed slaves.

What dems did was create a new system of slavery in order to keep control of blacks. They accomplished this by keeping them dependent on the government, thinking they couldn’t make it on their own. This was the perfect opportunity for communists to take over the party.

Liberal democrats, or Progressives, have completely turned truth and morality upside down, with the very intent of taking us right to where we are now.

        • truesoy

AHHH, Vigilant, YOU MISSED THE POINT COMPLETELY, I, at no time made references to neither democrats, nor republicans. I made references to LIBERALS, whether republicans or democrats, but, liberals never-the-less. Yes, once upon a time there were republicans with share ‘social-liberal’ ideas; though in todays United States they are an endangered species; and probably it would be easier to find a ‘unicorn’ than a ‘social-liberal’ republican.

    • Kate8

Joanna – I think you will find that most of us here DO agree with you.

      Godspeed.

  • Pete0097

The private Army is us. If all of the good guys have guns, the bad guys will stay away.

    • castaway

You are a dreamer. First is their enough with guns, and then, will they actually have the courage to use them. We need a well trained malitia of at least 2 million. Double that would be much better.

      • Carole Howell

Crossbows and blow guns might be easier to make ammo for, cause bullets would soon run out and be hard to come by after a short while. Plus they are not as noisy.

      • DaveH

Violence is rarely the answer. Most often people just trade one corrupt leader for another. And judging from the polls, we are a long way from having the kind of numbers necessary to win any confrontation, political or otherwise, with certainty.
The best bet we have is to educate our children and the electorate to the reality of Big Government and hope someday to achieve those numbers of informed people. Most important is to work hard to diffuse the propaganda machine that is Public Education.

        • Kate8

          DaveH – Right you are.

There is always another tyrant ready to step forward during times of destabilization and mayhem.

Violence must be the last resort.

          • Claire

Kate8–I’ll drink to that. Apple cider, that is!! lol

  • Willie

I’ve recently been reading about Hitler’s take over of Germany and how he convinced the people to go along with his atrocities. The DHS is just the beginning of the “American Gestapo”. The Government and the media are providing the propaganda to convince the American sheeple of this necessity. The plan is to make a big stink about this so they can introduce less invasive procedures, like implanting micro chips or bar code tattoos. And the sheeple will thank the Government for this new humane procedure!! In my opinion, its already too late!

    • Carole Howell

      Willie,
      You may be right.

    • Kate8

Willie, I agree. Plus, Odumbo is training the youth to be his personal civilian army, just as Hitler did.

People today are, for the most part, unable to do anything for themselves. They don’t grow food, usually don’t have land, either. Don’t know how to put foods by, and wouldn’t anyway. They are undereducated and uninformed. The perfect recipe for a nation turning on one another.

There will come a time when there is no food, and people will line up for government rations. We will have the choice to take the chip or tattoo and feed our hungry children, or be left to die of starvation.
      Most will take the chip.

The writing on the wall is becoming more clear every day.

  • home boy

this isn’t about protection . its about control. like i said the other day , wlcom back gustopo

  • http://com i41

Goose it was not W that started it, it got really moving under FDR and Wilson, with government agents as they were referred to in the30′s, coming on your place and “checking” to see what the people were doing. It has always been the democrat party beil that government should know every thing you produced or created on your property. It has only increased as the PC crowd put out the crap of any nut job, who was confined were all just normal and we were the nuts. The “experts convinced the citizens to behave like brain dead idoits and the “government” will take care of you and keep you safe. Over the years government always claims they are helping you, but there is a damn big hook hidden under the sweet “freebies”. The citizens are trained idoits on thinking “free” goodies are just wonderful for them, the hell with the rest of the hooks along the way. It is the citizens who have sat around on their thumbs, acting like trained apes.

    • home boy

who cares who started what. its here and it needs to be dealt with . the blame game gets you nowhere. get off the potty and do something about it . like they say in new hampshire live free or die

Anybody got a new firing pin for a .38??? But, no ammo anymore either! So just kidding anyhow.

How about a bottle of Diesel with a fuse down the hatch of the tank?

Hard to defend when all the weapons are gone!

          Lewis,
If you need 38 ammo come to Ohio. They don’t ID to buy it!!

  • Howard R Gray

Security is a probabilistic process, the probability of finding a security risk and preventing an incident is all that it is about. Stripping people naked directly or by electronic means won’t prevent an incident. Already the enemy has factored the methodology into account, they are aware that patting down and x rays are surmountable and that is what they will do. Yes they will be inconvenienced and that is all. The system applies limited intelligence skills to the problem, it looks invasive and all inclusive and therefore impregnable, the problem is it isn’t.

Israel faced the same problem they applied flexible intelligence to it and it works. They have a method of looking for the problems by profiling, in short using basic human intelligence to segregate out likely subjects but always aware of nuances in the scene that they are assessing. That is the differences; it is in the nuanced details that the enemy can be thwarted. The method is ever flexible and not easy to circumvent above all it works.

The enemy will deploy guile and counter intelligence subverting the security screens, scanners and pat downs. With the TSA there is limited applied intelligence screening passengers with no “out of the box” methodology, in short it is an extremely blunt instrument. The whole scheme is weak in design and application and at some point it will fail, that is a given. Then what?

Creating a big brother to superintend our security is just another bureaucratic device, government is famous for them, all government enterprises have poor records of success, one should not be surprised at the TSA, it is the best that the government can do and it won’t be enough. The ancient war arts of deception and camouflage will out the system. Sadly relying on an intrusive and immoral system of apparent searching merely illustrates the fact that the government cannot protect us adequately and the TSA demonstrates that fact. Some of those that govern have decided that they can’t catch the perpetrators, nor can they levy war on those who support them, nor do they want to, so we get stuck with this ersatz security imposition on our natural liberties instead.

The answer to all this is to never let up in complaining about this nonsense, write to your representatives, call them and never let up about it. Take this up with the Tea Party in your areas, be the social pit bull, sink your metaphorical teeth in and never let go. Some day they system will fail and then the discussion will deal with reform and abolition, lay the ground for it. There are much better ways to do security; it is your job to never stop telling them, at some point, one or other of them will buy a deaf aid and hear your complaint.

I am not sure what will awake people?…
I remember before 9/11 going to a baseball games and while our National Anthem was being played 99% people were screaming and yelling with a beer in one hand and a hot dog in other hand…
      after….
everyone was holding hand over their heart and singing (in Cleveland, OH)
so, in order for people to feel unity and wake up….
what kind of disaster needs to be imposed on them?

      Howard
Sir,your statement is the most well thought out and presented arguement on any given subject that I have read in these forums. The government must consider all aspects of any given problem and then act on that problem with proven techniques and stay away from this “placebo” approach to security to pacify the general population.Your statement

“Israel faced the same problem they applied flexible intelligence to it and it works. They have a method of looking for the problems by profiling, in short using basic human intelligence to segregate out likely subjects but always aware of nuances in the scene that they are assessing. That is the differences; it is in the nuanced details that the enemy can be thwarted. The method is ever flexible and not easy to circumvent above all it works.”

Again Howard, you have hit the proverbial nail on the head, basic human intelligence is the best defense. When I was in the Army Intelligence service in the 70′s we were taught that 90% of the best and most reliable intelligence was “humint” intelligence, gathered from and by people, where “elint”,or electronically gathered intel was only 10% of the equation. In short, people will outperform a machine any day of the week.

If I do not have the opportunity to run across you again in the forums before years end,I would like to wish you and yours a very safe and merry Christmas and a happy new year and God’s Blessings.

Your are absolutely right, letters are the best method, smother them in post cards and letters(I prefer post cards they get read by many as they go along) But be very respectful as you make your demands, otherwise all your mail incoming and outgoing will be read, you will probably get it back months latter, but in a zip lock bag with a note opened by mistake. That happened to me years ago. I now take several deep breaths before I start to write an keep my temper in check. LOL

Of course they can open mail w/o any signs of them doing it, but the opened mail in a plastic bag with a note sends a message. Nice touch.

Angel–You have got to be kidding? I hope so. Let me know–

          • Claire

The reason why I want to know is because we have been getting phone calls for the past month–my husband is here during the day and when he answers whoever it is hangs up. We get them at night too. Same thing-when we answer they hang up. Maybe we are being paranoid but I don’t like it one bit. We make sure someone is here all the time. There have been a lot of home invasions on the west side of town and we are on the west side. The ultra rich live farther west. I kid you not, so far there have been 60 home invasions within the last month and a half–in our area and the wealthy area. The cops have found no suspects. My husband is not as strong as he used to be, but he has his “you know whats” close by. And he sure knows how to use them. A person has to be careful. I think people are getting desperate. Maybe I am crazy but it does not scare me, let them try to get into my home-they will be in for a big surprise. Don’t laugh when I say this but remember the movie “Home Alone”? We have a few surprises ready. They are my son’s brilliant ideas and he is one smart guy. He has the same things at his house. I call him “007.”

          • http://none Mike

Clair Thats is one of 2 things. Its either someone looking to break in when you arent at home. Or like in my case its a phone company fopaw. I recently have gotten a new number and what I found out it was a recycled one. I would get phone calls all the time looking for 3 diffrent people.Fun when the bill collectors call and you have to break the news to them they have the wrong number lol. Check into getting caller I.D and when you catch one of thoes numbers do like I did and look it up in the Yellow pages online. Can help set your mind at ease if nothing else:) Mike L.

MikeL– I already have caller ID and the phone numbers do not come up. It always says unknown caller. I guess I should go ahead and have my phone number changed but gads I hate to do that. I will call AT&T tomorrow and see what can be done.

          • http://none Mike

Unknown usually means some auto dialer has gotten your number. Computer sales pitches are so fun to get during dinner or when your fast asleep. Most of the time they are programmed for 3 to 4 rings then hang up. Most likely its a glitched one. Mike L.

With all the reporters covering the major presidential candidates, it amazes me no one ever seems to ask the right questions.

For several days now, WND has been hounding Barack Obama’s campaign about a statement he made July 2 in Colorado Springs – a statement that blew my mind, one that has had me scratching my head ever since.

In talking about his plans to double the size of the Peace Corps and nearly quadruple the size of AmeriCorps and the size of the nation’s military services, he made this rather shocking (and chilling) pledge: “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Now, since I’ve never heard anyone inside or out of government use the phrase “civilian national security force” before, I was more than a little curious about what he has in mind.

Is it possible I am the only journalist in America who sought clarification on this campaign promise?

    What does it mean?

If we’re going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn’t this rather a big deal?

I thought Democrats generally believed the U.S. spent too much on the military. How is it possible their candidate is seeking to create some kind of massive but secret national police force that will be even bigger than the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force put together?

Now, maybe he was misquoted by the Congressional Quarterly and the Chicago Tribune. I guess it’s possible. If so, you would think he would want to set the record straight. Maybe he misspoke. That has certainly happened before. Again, why wouldn’t the rest of my colleagues show some curiosity about such a major and, frankly, bone-chilling proposition?

Are we talking about creating a police state here?

The U.S. Army alone has nearly 500,000 troops. That doesn’t count reserves or National Guard. In 2007, the U.S. Defense budget was $439 billion.

Is Obama serious about creating some kind of domestic security force bigger and more expensive than that?

If not, why did he say it? What did he mean?

So far, despite our attempts to find out, the Obama campaign is not talking.

At this point all I can do is enlist your help – and the help of every other journalist who still thinks the American people have a right to know the specifics about a presidential candidate’s biggest and boldest initiatives before the election. I also want to ask radio talk-show hosts across America to start asking this same question. I have a feeling if others join our quest, we might yet get clarification on this proposal from Obama.

Who will Obama appoint to administer this new “civilian national security force”? Where will the money come from? Where in the Constitution does he see justification for the federal government creating such a domestic army?

    The questions are endless.

But before we can hope to get to the specifics, we need much more in the way of generalizations from Obama.

Certainly there have been initiatives like this elsewhere – Cuba, the Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, North Korea. But has anything like this ever been proposed in a free country?

I have a feeling there would be more questions from the press if I myself had proposed the creation of something as preposterous as a “civilian national security force” than there has been about this proposal by the presidential candidate currently leading in most of the polls. I’m quite sure I would be hung out to dry as some kind of Nazi thug. Meanwhile, Obama makes this wild suggestion and it is met with a collective yawn from the watchdogs.

Help me out here. What am I missing?

    Can I get a hand?

Did you know that Charlie Rangel proposed this bill to be passed in Senate before he was censored w/billions of tax payers dollars of funding?

    • Vicki

I wish they would establish a “national security force” and make tham all wear brown shirts. That way, we would all know who to target. JeffH–I hope you read this. I just received a request for a donation in today’s mail. It is from Castleton Ranch Horse Rescue, Inc. located in Lancaster, California. Do you know anything about this organization? According to their letter they rescued another 80 horses. I have never heard of this organization but I do have a soft place in my heart for horses. I will look them up on the internet but wondered if you knew anything. Thanks.

    • http://?? Joe H.

      claire,
I hope I’m not butting in. I just looked them up and they are a registered 501 and SEEM to be legit. the listed phone is 760-749-7581. does that match the mailer??

      • Claire

Joe H — You are not butting in, never think that! I looked it up on the internet too and it does seem legit. The phone number matches the one on the mailer. I feel bad for the horses but they all look to be in good condition. There was a handwritten letter included with the mailer and it sounds like they are having a hard time. The lady’s name was Lisa Thomas. She said she gets calls every day from people who can no longer afford to keep their horses. There was a list included as to what everything costs. Dang! I wish I had Donald Trump’s money and he had mine. He would be pissed! I will send her some money, I have to. Geez, I will die at my desk. I’ll never be able to retire.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          Claire,
Yup! always something to support!!! I know the feeling VERY well! I’m afraid there’s gonna be less support for the charities as the people just can’t afford to support them!!

          • Claire

JoeH–I am being flooded with requests for donations from every organization imaginable. I wish I could give to all of them but I can’t. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make America prosperous and strong again. It makes me sick at heart.

          • Kate8

Claire – Unfortunately, when we donate to anyone we go on a list of people who donate.

I get endless calls for donations, also, and there are many to whom I’d love to give. But I had to draw the line, or I wouldn’t be able to eat.

In reallity, when I went to work for TSA in 2002 the one thing the government wouldn’t let us do is profile (they didn’t want to offend the Muslims).

I retired in 2006 and really feel for my TSA officers. The vast majority of them are wonderful people. But like in so many cases, they get judged by the lowest common denominator.

Knowing the problems they have with administration/management(the REAL problem) the union they are trying for is needed for power against the them. Problem lies in the fact that all unions insist on more money. Most get paid just fine but within reason.

      ………………I feel better now……

They’ve been hard at it, too. Poking us in the eye, doing things that make no sense and acting as if it does, blatantly going against our outrage. They have displayed nothing but contempt for us. They lie to us shamelessly and play idiotic games and act like it’s real.

    Attention:

    February 24th, 2006
Bush and Cheney are the blame.

Time to Disband Homeland Security and Renew Democracy

In the aftermath of 9-11, American politics and government went slightly insane. America turned its collective back on 200 plus years of successful democratic government and turned toward its dark side. The national security state began to be seen as needed and desirable. This insane model of government always puts the State over the Individual and becomes both corrupt and dictatorial. Examples in history are numerous.

The United States of America began as a reaction to corrupt, dictatorial rule from the English monarchy. In modern times, the world has seen “national security” states arise in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, the Soviet Union, Pinochet Chile, and Franco Spain. Other examples can be found all over the globe. Dictatorial powers were seized by corrupt political figures with ardent followers blinded by ideology following “national security” crises in every example. After 9-11, we started speeding down that slippery slope. It is not too late for us as a nation to come to a screeching halt and return to our American political traditions should we make that choice as a nation.

Current events are forcing us to examine our course based on results instead of ideology. We have seen a great American city almost destroyed because we put national disaster relief under the control of incompetents at the Homeland Security Department. New Orleans started opening the eyes of American citizens everywhere.

Our government is ignoring federal law whenever it so desires in the name of national security. We have government run secret prisons. We lock people away without filing criminal charges and never set trial dates. We conduct torture and ignore the documented facts about that torture. We launch aggressive wars based on false information and propaganda aimed at our citizens along with the rest of the world.

We trample individual rights and civil liberties won at great expense for millions of American soldiers over generations in the name of “national security.” We conduct government in secret to hide corruption at the highest levels claiming security concerns. We spy on political dissenters who are seeking to return our nation to traditional American political values. We use Homeland Security and the American military to spy on average American citizens doing their civic duty.

The Bush Republicans controlling our government encourage the abuse of public office to advance strictly partisan political goals. They are trying falsely to redefine American patriotism as blindly following the most extreme of Republican Right policies and ideology.

They are assaulting the Bill of Rights and attacking the Constitutional principles of our nation. Our Constitutional system of checks and balances between competing branches of government, which was designed to prevent dictatorial government and guarantee individual liberty, has almost been overthrown under Bush Republican rule. Separation of Church and State has been severely undermined by deliberate policy thereby threatening both with the corruption. Government has no business interfering in the religious aspects of our lives.

Homeland Security can act as a cover for all kinds of corruption and political abuse. Secrecy in government has always fostered corruption and abuse. Traditionally, America divided our intelligence and law enforcement agencies up into many different competing units. The competition held each unit act more aggressively and efficiently. The different units helped prevent abuses by other units using our traditional checks and balances system. The system worked very well as long as it was overseen by a competent chief executive in the White House, effectively monitored by Congress and followed federal court guidelines.

9-11 did not demonstrate a failure of our system based on design. It instead demonstrated that the individuals involved failed the nation. The White House dropped the ball on national security in the months immediately before 9-11. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield and Ashcroft were largely responsible along with their aides and other individuals in various federal agencies. They were not coordinating the activities of the various federal agencies involved in law enforcement or intelligence effectively.

The hysteria and fear fostered and used by Bush, Cheney and the rest of the Bush Republicans was used to cover their failures and to achieve unchecked political power. Bush and Cheney should have been impeached for incompetence for allowing the 9-11 attacks to happen!

Homeland Security officials were somehow involved in the permitting unsupervised voting counting in Ohio during the 2004 Presidential election. The media was blocked from observing the vote count in at least one County as a result of interference from Homeland Security according to numerous media reports.

In Idaho, Homeland Security was used to harass and intimidate a federal employee over an anti-War bumper sticker on his personal automobile Red State, Meet Police State . Homeland Security seems to be engaged in forcing American citizens to support the unpopular, unjust and unwise Iraq War policy of the Bush-Cheney Administration.

Democrats have been in power since 2006-7. They have had a majority in both houses and the Presidency since 2008-9. Yet I have seen NO evidence they have tried to do anything about the problem. So tell me again why I should care about demopublicans? I already know that Repubicrats are a problem. The demopublicans have been telling me so for years.

      • Kate8

        Vicki – Good one.

  • Raggs

Why don’t they just line everyone up and shoot us wouldn’t that be faster and less expencive?

    • Vicki

They must boil the frog slowly. There are still too many out here with guns.

    • Kate8

Raggs, That comes later. They want to wear us down first.

      • Kate8

Raggs, Besides, this is the culmination of centuries of scheming, controlling, manipulating and deceiving. The Grand Finale.

They are relishing every moment, especially watching us wake up to the realization that we allowed them to do it.

To them, this is the ultimate sacrament to Satan. What they perceive as their lord Lucifer’s long-awaited coming. They feed off the suffering of humnanity.

Whatever God creates and promises, satan tries to counterfeit. You see it everywhere.

  • Hubert

Raggs, Be careful what you say they may be building the showers (gas chamber) and ovens now. If they have not began construction you may give the idea to think on. Tax increase to pay for the construction.

    • Kate8

Hubert – Have you researched FEMA Camps?

The gas chambers and ovens have been waiting for some time now. Along with millions upon millions of casket liners, covering acres of land.

Check it out. The whole plan is in place.

  • Sam Icarah

Obviously, we have been giving the IRS (International Robber Service)
too much money. REVOLT and start a new America based on the Constitution.

    • Stephen

I thought we were not suppose to pay income taxes on wages. But than again the founding fathers also said those who dont own property can’t vote. Now every welfare person can vote and make my vote useless. When are we going to say enough is enough with this Federal Reserve and all their insanity?

      • Kate8

Stephen – Many of us are saying ENOUGH.

        Okay. Now what?

        • Claire

There is only one thing left to do and I will not post it.

          • Vicki

There is lots left to do. We have barely scratched the surface of the content of the first 3 boxes.

            Soap Box
            Ballot Box
            Jury Box
            Ammo Box

Use correctly and in that order.

          • Claire

Lots left to do? Perhaps, but it will go on for a long long time. “They” aren’t listening to us now. I don’t expect them to listen much in the future.

  • June

I bet they will come up with this type of thing but in a drive thru version..Then as we drive from state to state they can check us at the toll booths…hummmm….

  • Dennis

Is it SAFETY or SLAVERY ???? I call it SLAVERY. And from what i have been reading, most are willing to accept it at some point. And thats what this Government is counting on.

  • Kate8

OMG. I am watching a program (Jesse Ventura) on how corporations are buying water-rich land and water companies all over the world in order to control the world’s water.

They’ve alread done this. Have your water rates been going up lately? And guess who is one of the big ones ready to make billions by overcharging us for what we need for life? T. BOONE PICKENS.

Not only are the elite-owned corporations, in cahoots with government, owning all of our water, they are also adding things like lithium (in addition to fluoride and whatever) and other drugs to control us.

This is much worse than anyone knows. They plan to ration our water severely, and do it by making it so expensive we can’t afford it.

Here’s one article I found. There are others. Check it out. They own our fuel supply, our food supply, and now our water.

    • Vicki

hit piece to blame capitalism. Intended to get people to demand a law. Thus transferring control to big government.

  • Kate8

Here’s something else I just found out. Guess who else is taking our water? CHINA.

With the approval of our government, China is taking our best water, and leaving us with the ‘toilet water’.

We’ve been sold out on all fronts. Our government has totally betrayed us, and has essentially turned over our lives to China.

Check out the Great Lakes Conspiracy.

    • Kate8

The NWO plans to control the world by controlling the world’s resources. Without basic necessities to life (air, water, food, fuel) we cannot live.

It’s all pretty much a done deal. All in place. Where were the journalists on this? Wait, they own them, too.

And there you have it, folks.

      • JC

It ain’t over Kate…not by a long shot.

        • Dan az

          JC

I’m remembering that in the last 3 years or so, Congress took control of all US water rights. They now own all the water, whether it be a lake, river, above or below ground, including every mud puddle. They own your wells, too. And they claim the authority to tax you on them, or even tell you that you can’t use them.

I wondered about their reason for this.

            Well, now we know.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Kate8,
ere where I live they are already telling you you can’t use your well! We still have the casing down to the old well on my property, but since we have city water, we can’t use it even to water our lawns or plants!! That is ALL I wanted to use it for!

  • James

Kate8, among others, has pointed out the real problem, and that is the American voters. There is no one else to blame in the end. Go back as far as you want, but the Presidents rarely lied to us during campaign season. Did Bill Clinton operate as a centrist when governor of Arkansas? Was George Bush a true fiscal conservative when governor of Texas? Did Obama ever espouse anything remotely centrist when a Senator, or even as the so-called community organizer? Especially now, there really are no secrets, there are only those who don’t check. I realize that I am preaching to the choir, to a certain extent, and I have no problem with calling out our elected officials for their constitutional misdeeds and defiance of common sense, but the voters could fix all of this, if they chose to do so. The majority of voters over the last 80 years have generally asked for a nanny state, and guess what? The government responded! And here we are. We have what we have because those who vote wanted it this way, and apparently want to keep it that way. And spare me the lame talk about the big corporations. These same rules apply to them – all that is required is for the voters to demand something different. But we are too wrapped up in our Wiis, the latest flat screen TV, and the upcoming football game. Sad.

    • Kate8

James, Had we all been awake and aware, the voters could have stopped it. But a handful of corporate, uber-rich financiers now own and control virtually everything, including our government and voting system.

I’m afraid that ship may have already sailed. It’s time for plan B.

      • Dan az

        Kate8
The fact that we did say something about the NWO we where labeled nut jobs and to some we are still nut jobs.It wont be much longer now and then we will be those nut jobs that might have been right! Ya think!

  • John

I don’t want to fly, I just want to go to the airport and be fondled by female TSA agents.

    • http://?? Joe H.

forget it john, your luck you’ll be fondled by big bubba!!!

      • Angel Wannabe

        JOeH, EWwwwww!

  • JC

Boycott anything the DHS or TSA are attending.
Let them stand around and grope each other.

  • keith williams

The Israelies have a workable plan. The passenger steps into a strong chamber and a signal is sent that will detonate any explosives on his/her person. What’s wrong with that? A potential bomb won’t allo himself to be detonated with no others and it doesn’t take away anyone’s civil rights or discriminate. It is just the problem of washing it out if someone is that stupid. It is non-invasive.

  • DaveH
    • Kate8

DaveH – Thanks for that article.

Why are they so concerned about an unconstitutional provision now? Nearly everything they’ve been passing is wholly unconstitutional across the board. This is weird.

We all know that the only reason for this bill is control of the food supply. It’s hard enough already to get food that isn’t GMO or irradidated. People try to avoid those things, and that is, no doubt, why the big food corporations want the small food producer driven out.

I would suggest everyone not buy from companies like Kraft, General Mills and anyone else lobbying for this type of bill.

      • DaveH

I agree, Kate, that it is about time we conservatives use the boycott tool to send a loud message to those companies that would take away our Freedom.

  • Jill

All of this is so unnecessary. We are a nation who believes in God. God is big enough to protect us, we do not need big brother to do God’s work.
