Michigan DHS Insists On Poisoning A Child

May 4, 2012 by

Michigan DHS Insists On Poisoning A Child
Jacob Stieler dances with a friend.

A Michigan couple continues to be harassed by the Michigan Department of Human Resources because they’ve chosen to stop dosing their child with cancer-causing drugs prescribed by Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

Hospital officials filed a complaint with the Department of Human Services against Kenneth and Erin Stieler after they decided to discontinue their son Jacob’s treatment for Ewing sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, after a PET scan showed no signs of cancer. The radiation and chemotherapy he was taking left him physically weak, nauseated and depressed, Erin Stieler told The Grand Rapids Press when the DHS first went after the couple in late 2011.

“Several times he told me he wanted to fall asleep and never wake up,” Erin Stieler said. “He said it would be easier if he were in heaven and didn’t have to deal with this.”

The Stielers researched the drugs 10-year-old Jacob was being given and determined that they were harmful. “Chemo is poison. I’m not going to subject my child to that, especially if there is no evidence of cancer,” Erin Stieler told the newspaper.

The chemotherapy chemicals mandated by the State include ifosfamide, etoposide and doxorubicin — carcinogenic drugs that the Food and Drug Administration has said have never been proven safe for children or been shown to be effective against the type of cancer Jacob has. But hospital doctors claim Jacob must continue taking the drugs or risk dying from cancer.

Even though lower courts have twice ruled in the Stielers’ favor and Jacob has been cancer-free for almost a year, DHS officials have continued to push the Michigan court system with appeals.

DHS claims in its appeals that Jacob’s health situation is urgent. Yet its actions seem more a form of harassment, because DHS waited 55 days after first being contacted by the hospital before it filed the initial complaint and twice waited the maximum number of days possible before filing appeals.

Apparently, health and government officials in Michigan do not believe that parents are qualified to make health decisions for their children. In Michigan last year, you may remember, a SWAT Team surrounded a Detroit home and kidnapped a 13-year-old girl because the girl’s mother stopped giving the child an antipsychotic drug — on the advice of a physician — that had been prescribed by another doctor at a health clinic. The girl was finally returned to the mother, but not until the child had been sexually assaulted while in State custody.

The medical mafia goon squad claims to want to help people, but its cures are worse than the disease. And the media mafia never tells you the true way to health is a proper diet of fresh organic fruits and vegetables and no processed foods.

It also doesn’t tell you that the pharmacists that mix the toxic poisons prescribed to “cure” cancer are dying from cancer caused by the poisons they handle.

Government is indebting our children to the tune of $16 Trillion and growing fast ($1.5 Trillion a year), and they have the audacity to pretend they know what’s best for our children?

    • Wildey

You say 15.5 trillion dollars, but thats a figure from the government. What about the “entitlements”, as if someones entitled to the fruits of another mans labors, foreign aid, social security, pensions etc. etc. Honest economist figure the debt might be close to 100 Trillion dollars. What about the amount each of us owes to our state? I figure it this way. If the government can raise and train our children they think they’ll have a bunch of zombies that will only do as they’re told. If parent raise and train they’re children they just might let them read things like the Bible, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence etc.. They might ask questions, a real no no.

Michigan has been asserting such authority for a long time. This state has been among the leaders in medical advancements of various sorts since the forties and fifties. The U of M, Mich. State Med. Soc., various and sundry drug companies, unions, along with government liberality and people who love Deb Stabusnow and Curls Levin…our senators, have led us into being national leaders of corruption, sickness, poverty, state controlled job destruction and decades long social/business suppression. Michigan has long been the belwhether for lots of socially acceptable evil of every sort.
Send this poor little boy to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL just below the Wisconsin line near Kenosha. They’ll know how to heal him in a flash and make him HEALTHY not just take out sick and damaged tissues.
The same goes for any others of you out there with cancers…not just the kind this boy has. If you need help they are AWESOME. They are primarily responsible for any advancements in cancer cures and treatments in the last twenty years. It will never happen if left to American Cancer society, Walk For Life, Breast Cancer Runs and all those other graft, theft, masqueraders and deceit outfits. Don’t give ‘em a dime.

      • Karolyn

Relay for Life is the one that has grabbed hold of everybody around here. Little do they know that whatever is raised and goes to the American Cancer Society is mostly going into the CEO’s pocket. They run a great racket in tandem with Big Pharma.

      • DaveH

You’re talking about unfunded liabilities, Wildey. The thing is, though stated as such by Government, those “entitlements” could go away rapidly under dire circumstances, so I don’t bother talking about unfunded liabilities. See here:

As I read the article and the comments that follow I take from it the following: People are so intent in trying to convince themselves that their political views warrant the rapt attention of anyone trying to make sense of the original article that the original theme becomes lost in nonsense. In the story, everyone is suffering. Why? Because a tiny minority of people make bad decisions. It sounds to me like the parents in this story have done diligent research and have given careful thought to the situation and clearly they Love their child. But, sadly, there are those parents who through ignorance, stupidity, faith or indifference to their child, withhold proper medical care to their child and in such a case who will be the voice for that child? LOOK AT THE PHOTO OF THAT CHILD, MEDITATE ON IT. WHAT IF IT WERE YOUR CHILD. As far as the politics, this is a democracy and when you point fingers at the government those same fingers are pointing right back at you!

      • independent thinker

“As far as the politics, this is a democracy…”

Wrong, wrong, WRONG. This is a republic not a democracy. this could also be described as a democratic republic but it is NOT a democracy.

      • Dan Richeson

@independent thinker: and in regards to the original story and my post, your point? I would imagine that that child or his parents would consider that point quite trivial. Also, it seems to illustrates my point. OH, I get it, humor! Good one….

      • jheasler12175

Do you have a point? Or are you just another fence sitting observer?

      • Dan Richeson

@jheasler12175 I guess i must be dense or something, after reading the string I am not able to make much sense of your post. Feel free to expound…

        • jheasler12175

My point is that you looked at both sides of the issue but didn’t seem to have an opinion one way or the other as to which party is correct. I think you are of the opinion that both sides are acting in good faith. I don’t know how long you’ve been following this particular case, but its not the first time its been in the news. Its been in adjudicated in the lower courts twice in favor of the parents and yet the state hangs in like a bulldog trying to force medication on a child that has been cancer free for over a year. At some point the state has gone beyond due diligence and is bullying the family with all of the state power it can bring to bear.

      • Dan Richeson

@jheasler12175: What I see is that this family seems to be dis-empowered and the powers that be seem to be more intent on exerting their power. Since this has been through the courts in the past I cant imagine that outside medical experts haven’t also made their findings to the court. That being said, the thing that stands out for me is the inability of the family to have the final word.

This dis-empowerment of average citizens seems to be systemic throughout our society when pitted against government and/or corporate powers. I believe that this
dis-empowerment is a deliberate action of the power elite. I also believe that one of the ways this has been accomplished has been to divide us. If you look at all the posts in this article, here and there the vitriol is explosive and I believe that the hatred between left and right has been manufactured. If only both sides could respect the expressed rights of the other, if we all could practice due diligence in keeping ourselves informed, practicing disiplined thoughtfulness. I dont think that is too much to ask since we send our young into battle, perhaps to die to protect our rights. I’ll leave you with a few quotes:

“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” –Abraham Lincoln

Men born to freedom are naturally alert to repel invasion of their liberty by evil-minded rulers. The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal,
        well-meaning but without understanding. ~~~Justice Brandeis~~~

“It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear.”
        Douglas MacArthur

“No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation”
        Douglas MacArthur

“I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.”
        Douglas MacArthur

        “Only Americans can hurt America.”
        Dwight D. Eisenhower

“Politics ought to be the part-time profession of every citizen who would protect the rights and privileges of free people and who would preserve what is good and fruitful in our national heritage”
        Dwight D. Eisenhower

Listen to the wisdom of our forbears, instead of just falling in line behind behind the spinmasters do some FOR REAL research, fact checking, and soul searching to determine where your allegiances are. As a father and grandfather I want a better world for my offspring and I am angered often by the caviler way that people lend their support to the cause of evil. Everyone wants to think of themselves as being a good person yet, despite that, through ignorance and undisciplined thinking, end up giving comfort and support to the cause of evil none the less… Dan Richeson – 2012

        • jheasler12175

Your sentences 1 thru 3 sum it up nicely. I concur.

  • Sirian

This is but another prime example of what we have allowed our government to become – a bureaucratic/technocratic behemoth. Through ideological indoctrination centers (public schools & universities) nation wide, what more should be expected? It can be changed, broken away from but not when over 50% of the population remain as sheeple.

    • restorefreedom

They call this a free society as opposed to what a FEMA Camp or a prison? Government gone wild.

      • Wildey

Freedom is whatever a soceity says it is. It’s status, like serfdom. Now LIBERTY, that’s a gift from God no man can take away. A man can only give it away by acting immorally or subjecting himself to any sort of tyranny. It is the property of children that parents are taking from them by their actions.

1Son – Just because it was said by Thomas Jefferson doesn’t make it true.

      • Martin Seguin

@Karolyn how can you say that just because Thomas Jefferson said it doesn’t make it true? it is true, THAT’S WHAT THE 1ST AMERICAN REVOLUTION WAS ALL ABOUT, THAT’S WHY WE HAVE OUR OWN COUNTRY!!!!!! OUR TREE OF LIBERTY WAS REFRESHED WITH THE BLOOD OF PATRIOTS AND TYRANTS!!!!! NOW IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY NEED TO BE AGAIN!!!!!

  • Karolyn

Just plain disgusting! Keep filling up the pockets of Big Pharma by killing people. There is so much that can be done for cancer that “they” don’t want us to know about. How can the state take away the basic rights of parents to care for their children as long as they are not abusive. I do believe that many of these misguided state reps really believe what they are doing is right; however, they need to open their eyes and see the big picture rther than their puny little ideas.

    • Brad

Wow Karolyn I am totally suprised at your remarks, a sole liberal that might be own her way to understanding the harm of big brother.

      • Karolyn

Brad – I keep saying that there is much that liberals and conservatives do agree on. Unfortunately, people tend to focus on the disagreements. When it comes to health matters, I have schooled myself for the past 10 years, since being diagnosed with hepatitis C. Had I followed the gastroenterologit’s suggestion and undergone chemo, I have no doubt that I would not be in as healthy condition as I currently am. I still have HCV but am very healthy. It pays to be proactive about one’s body. I am a staunch Monsanto and Big Pharma opponent, as well as a vociferous supporter of small farmers. I address any health issues I might have with natural methods.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

I agree with you on this, Karolyn. I had chemotherapy nine years ago. It has long lasting effects and I’ve never been healthy since. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have had it. I’ve learned a lot and would definitely use alternative methods even if it meant risking death. Chemo actually causes other forms of cancer and it can destroy your heart. I have not had one year without a cancer scare or a heart scare and have been exposed more tests than you could imagine. I believe that if the body is in it’s correct balance of vitamins and minerals we wouldn’t even get cancer. Our food has been depleted of vitamins and minerals. Our food, air and water have been polluted with chemicals and our bodies just can’t function as they were meant to. If my PET scan were clear I definitely would not continue on a chemo regimen. The stuff is truly poison. But the biggest issue is taking away the rights of parents. No one will love or look out for a child’s best interests more than a parent. The government thinks it can dictate everything and we really have very few rights anymore. They pretend that we are a free people but it is only as long as we are are doing what they allow.

      • Marten The Canadian Libertarian

Hello Anne, Chemo doesn’t just kill your heart, it kills your brain and the will to,live

    • Mike in MI

      Sean M. -
Don’t kid yourself about the medics not knowing crap. There has been so much learned via health research that there is really little reason for people to be sick – if they were only taught in schools or by doctors or, like Karolyn, sought out for themselves HOW to stay healthy AND DO IT. One problem is they are schooled to think diseases and suffering are inevitable – or “purifying” (“Suffering for Jesus” like that horrid Mother Teresa pushed on people). If it were in ANY way “sanctifying” God would never have created man with such a wonderful and POWERFUL internal immune system. Instead, medical theory and practice are geared toward wreaking havoc on our innate ability to recognize and obliterate just about everything that the natural environent can throw at us – unless one is a homo and practices viceS that automatically ruin it and make yourself a focus of disease for everyone around you (and destroys your brain over time).
The biggest fallacy is the whole ancient medical paradigm of treating SYMPTOMS (like killing “germs”) rather than getting at the source of disease or protecting the immune system and brain functions. Instead, they shut those systems down with poisons and witches potions which are known to paralyze inner- and inter-cellular processes. (Then are so deceitfual as to ballyhoo “medical breakthroughs and miracles”.)
Medical practices are the cause of our health crisis. Haven’t you ever noticed how instead of getting better it only gets deeper and more irreverseable?

  • Frank G

Did the parents have any chance to voice their opinion? Was the child given all the information he needs to if not to be cured completely but to at least improve his chances?

I have been Vegan for 3 years. I know I am vaccinated against cancer, heart diesase, multiplesclorosis, Diabetes, asthma, etc. How? By eating sensibly. The body will at least have a chance to cure itself, but if you continue putting the bad stuff in your mouth without first seeing if it works, I think is irresponsible.

I have heard of many people who went vegan for just a week to prove a point, and in that one week they felt the changes within their bodies, most majority of them continued being vegan and improving their health.

I am 73 and I was at the end of my rope when I decided to take this step. Never regreted it.

    • Richard Pawley

Just make sure that your vegetables you eat are organic. Another laboratory created corn (GMO or genetically modified organism) was just released to be introduced into our food supply. When you were a kid there were only four nations in the world where people lived longer than they do here, now there are 38! Make sure the eggs you eat are truly organic. The ones I mostly use are from a local farmer who does not feed his chickens corn because GMO corn is all he can get locally and the cost to ship non-GMO food across the country is far to much. Likewise on the cheese you eat, I get mine from Australia where cows eat only grass and not corn silage like here (86% of corn is GMO, 93% of soy – which I wouldn’t eat if it were organic – much to learn but you can’t eat and drink like most Americans do and not get the diseases that most Americans get.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

I agree with you, Richared. But keep in mind that soon nothing will be organic. The wind and bees are carrying pollen from the gmo’s and corrupting the organic crops. Soon nothing will be organic. These gmo’s actually change the DNA in our bodies. Who knows what the long term effects will be. There haven’t been any tests done on this. We are all guinea pigs.

Holy crap. How can we stop these THUGS from killing this couples Son and making thier life hell. First get the names of the people pushing this matter. Then find some nice Lawyer type who believes in The Constitution to represent this nice family and SUE Each and every one of these Thugs forcing this family to allow damage to their son. Then these nice people might have a little Justice and the Freedom to treat their sons affliction (If there actually is one!) the correct way.

    • michaeljbeglinjr

Agreed. Michigan is just wanting to make an example of this case so other parents will get into line. Michigan needs sued over these two children like nobody has ever been sued before. They would have to shoot me dead to get my children away from me.

  • Ted Crawford

This is happening BEFORE PPACA kicks in, Anyone have any ideas how it will look AFTER in is in full effect? This is a textbook example of why, as many have been saying, we need to eliminate many governmental agencies. We would immediately notice a vast improvement in not only our economy, but clearly our quality of life!

  • Frank G

Quote “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

  • kategray

Nothing in life is a guarantee and the choice should be up to the family. What is wrong with this picture? INTERFERENCE FROM THE OUTSIDE. wHERE IS THE FAMILY RIGHTS?

    • Richard Pawley

Haven’t you heard? Under the new socialism, God is the State and the State is God. Wouldn’t be bad if were really God, but such a government has not existed since ancient times when Israel insisted upon having a king “like other countries” and God let them have what they wanted.

Well, we wanted someone who wasn’t George Bush. We wanted a cool president, a rock star, a Hollywood type, and that is what we have. Just six months to the most important election of our lifetime (the U.S. Senate) and the presidential election as well. Miracles still happen but don’t expect our increasing debt to not cause unbelievable inflation or you will be expecting what never was.

As a nation we cannot expect leaders who are better than we are collectively. Serious hard times are coming and I hope all who read this are preparing as best they can. This great nation was founded by believers of all kinds but now we are harassed by those who believe they know what is best when in reality they have not a clue.

  • Elevenarrows

Anyone who is outraged by yet another attack on parental rights should check out Senator Jim DeMint (SC) has sponsored a parental rights amendment to stop this type of abuse. By the way, if Hillary Clinton has her way, the Congress will ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child and then we will have the same disastrous results as all the other countries. Ignorant people feel there is some type of shame involved since America and Somalia are the only countries who have not ratified this UN garbage. If you follow what is going on in other countries in the name of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, you will see that what this poor couple are dealing with is the tip of the iceberg for what’s coming.

All of this is fundamentally about who has control. The government currently has control in more ways than the founders ever imagined. Had America been then what she is now, they would have fled her or fought her. Do what little bit you can and make sure your senators have signed up to co-sponsor the Parental Rights Amendment. The website can tell you what is going on state-by-state.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

I’ve read it and signed the petition. I’ve contacted all of my congressmen and senators. But I still believe that the day will come that they will ratify ALL of these treaties.

  • Jeanne Stotler

There is a place in So. Africa where cancer is not to be seen, they found the answer was in the water a simple compound CESIUM CHLORDE, Big Pharma cos. don’t want this widely known, you can look it up, I did and was very impressed by the results I found.

    • Firefly

Continue your research and you will discover there are many cures for cancer and things that will help prevent it but it is illegal for doctors in the United States to tell you these
things or they can lose their right to practice and go to jail.

  • william l collins

I had a freind who came diwn with colon cancer they removed it then they said that he needed chemo and radation to make sure they got it all well they gave him so much cemo and radation that they cooked his insides and so much chemo they gave him more cancer then he had they started this after the said he was cancer free for five years even tho he was cancer free they said he need this to keep him cancer free they ended up giveing him more cancer that they couln’t control it took him five more years to die in pure pain all they need to do is remove it then lazer it that kills it chemo and radation gives you cancer that you didn’t have before i for one beleve this and so do a few good doctors so far i have been cancer free for eight years whent back the way i was raised drinking fresh cows milk and not eating processed meat that you by in stores and refuse any kind of chemo and radation would rather die quick they a slow painful dieath

    • mickey2

I just met a woman whose father is in the same boat. At this stage, he is willing to die before taking any more chemo. All the chemo did was make more cancer (immune system died).

She also told me about her friend who adopted a perfectly healthy child, was given the MMR at 18 months and is now autistic.

I ran into another person whose neice was killed off by the courts. The courts ordered the child to the hospital. Police arrived and just took her. The hospital gave her the drugs the father said “no” to and she died. Even one of the doctors admitted she died from the drug, not the disease.

  • Ladyhawke

doxorubicin=red death. The nickname says it all.

  • jheasler12175

This is less about medicine than it is about DHS showing the family who’s the boss. DHS’s power has been challenged and they can’t have that! They will financially grind the family into the ground, bankrupting them and forcing them to submit or flee the state. DHS has the full financial backing of the state and can come at the family forever, long after the family is ruined. This is what state agencies do when challenged and it has nothing to do with caring for the child.

    • Elevenarrows

You are absolutely right. Until enough people stand up and demand that that agency be reined in, it will continue. Where is the public outcry? And as for the 13 year old girl mentioned in the article, I hope the parents of that child are suing everyone remotely involved in the events that unfolded in the life of their daughter. How dare the system do such a thing to that child! They are as guilty of the crime as the loser that raped her.

  • kategray

Most drugs have not been tested properly and we are the ones that are being experimented on. Drug companies are controlling most aspects of the medicial profession.

  • Wildey

I realize this is hard to swallow but you parents are OK for producing a child but immediately upon birth the child becomes a “ward of the state”. You must understand, you have the states permission to raise “it” up according to the states guidelines, and that goes for every aspect of their upbringing. If the child rebels against the parents, the state will step in and invariably side with child to the point the state will take the child and place it in one of its halls of indoctrination. Obviously this creates a certain amount of fear in a household, fear created by the government. Doesn’t fear lead to submission?

The idea that until a child reachs the age of reason the only thing they can contribute to a house is to do as they’re told is gone. They must learn to reason why the parents said this or that so they will be good parents themselves, but the state has a better way. This must be accompanied with the love of the child by the parent. Is there love from the state? This will hurt me more than it will hurt you. No, the state will be the arbiter, step in anytime it wishes. Cradle to the grave? The government means it. Innocent until proven guily? No: It’s guilty until proven innocent. That’s another way to scrap liberty and replace it with say “bondage”. We’re to be raised and trained like animals, not people that have the gift of liberty from our Creator.

  • RichE

“…fresh organic fruits and vegetables…” So send him a basket of fruit Bob.

    • Karolyn

      Why the facetiousness, Rich?

      • Libertytrain

because he is cold and heartless…..and left of left.

      • RichE

Sorry for the tardy reply Karolyn, It’s a shame health care is so argumentative. I don’t disagree with Bob’s statement about eating healthy, but it seemed a bit sanctimonious.

  • TML

Twice struck down by the courts, doesn’t even show signs of cancer, and even the FDA says the drug isn’t proven safe for children…. Sucks this is happening, but I’m guessing the DHS is just following protocol on the complaint by a stupid doctor/hospital. The parents will keep fighting and put this to rest.

    • Libertytrain

why should parents be fighting this battle – pointless waste of time and money —- because someone in government wants to waste their time and money.

      • TML

“why should parents be fighting this battle – pointless waste of time and money —- because someone in government wants to waste their time and money.”

They should be fighting it because it’s despotic. Pointless then? I say not. Unfortunate that they must… yes… although I would certainly seek a counter sue for pain and suffering in respect to the trauma of fighting for their child’s life, and then fighting against a hospital complaint about giving a child medicine that is not even federally approved as safe for children, when the child shows no further signs of cancer.

      • Libertytrain

I know they need to be fighting this horrible fight. It’s just an added burden to parents already suffering.

  • Dan

Helen DeVos is the wife of Richard DeVos, the person who recently gave $250,000 to Gov. Scott Walker of WI to help fight off the libs and unions trying to recall him. Ironic that they put up millions for a hospital and this is what transpires. They don’t come much more conservative than they are.

  • Average Joe

I just thought I woud add this to the conversation concerning GMO foods. Please watch…this is important info. Thanks and enjoy.

  • FEDUP!

This is disgusting. It’s bad enough the parent’s have to deal with this at all. How terrible that the selfish MF’s are making this so much worse for this family. I can’t imagine the stress this family is suffering. I heard of a different story where a mother gave birth to a newborn and asked if the Hepatitis vaccine was really necessary and they took her baby away from her. WTF? How about really looking into why these meds are not safe???

    • mickey2

About the same situation. The mother refused the Hep B in the hospital. When she went to the same pedicatrican for follow up exams, she was told the doctor would not care for her twins unless she agreed to take ALL the vaccines and on schedule.

  • FEDUP!

Good Point Average Joe. GMO’s are horrible once you really know what they are. Everyone needs to educate themselves because once you do, you will see how worthless the fda is. Also Monsanto is a company that makes these GMO’s and they are buddy buddy with this administration. All the sudden family farms are being shut down with bogus claims of violations and threats of fines or worse. HMMMMM wonder why? This angers me beyond words!

  • s c

Comrade ‘k,’ at long last, some conservatism has rubbed off on you. Like It or not, people, “HEALTH” is a major $ industry in Amerika. If someone like comrade ‘k’ can understand that, then it should be possible for others to understand and complain and change their stoic behavior.
In the matter of giving poison in an attempt to get someone ‘better,’ it’s a blatant attempt to demand that patients (and their parents) turn off their brains. It is also an attempt to PROVE that children no longer belong to their parents when 1) they’re in public schools or when 2) they’re ill.
WHAT does it say about the ‘medical establishment’ when they knowingly resort to POISONS and they KNOW someone’s immune system is almost nonexistent? It’s like taking a warped gamble, folks. And YOU get to pay for it. Is this NOT proof of the paranoid mindset MDs pick up in medical school?
Uncle Scam makes it worse and does it in the name of ‘making it better.’ It’s smoke and mirrors. It’s third-rate Oz magic. It’s stupid on steroids. It’s big business, and we CAN make it stop.

s c – You’re late to the game on this one, s c. I have always felt this way when it comes to healthcare. If you really paid attention, you would realize that I do agree with SOME of what you espouse.

I have been treating myself and my family with holistic medicine for over 10 years now. i have cured so many things and even my friends turn to me for advice now. i have personally witnessed the miracle of God’s great medicines from the earth and I am convinced there is nothing better. I would never take any pharmaceutical drug or poison and I would never give it to my children. When you take control of your own health it is so empowering and you don’t have to rely on pharmaceuticals. When I have an ailment, I research the cause and remove it from my life and support my immune system to help me recover, I have had great success with many things the medical doctors just couldn’t figure out, it turned out to be so simple. People have to remember that we lived for tens of thousand s of years before pharmaceutical drugs and had far fewer diseases then. Ever since the Cancer Society has come about, cancer has escalated out of control. It just kills me when people collect money for them, please just give the money to a family that is suffering with cancer and tell them to look into natural cures, it is way less expensive and they won’t lose their hair or destroy their body.

We also need to remember the mind-body connection.

First, the government shouldn’t be considered qualified to decide anything for us. I believe the government is a domestic terrorist and an enemy of the state, as WE the people ARE the state. The government would not exist except for OUR efforts. Companies would NOT exist except for the worker and consumer efforts. The government is supposed to serve the people, created for the people, and composed of the people. For a long time, decades, American officials have primarily worked for their personal goals and for those that pay them the most in campaign funds and promised jobs. Who is entitled?

Entitlements – the government and many financial institutions and businesses have practiced a policy of “entitlement” at the expense of the American people. Who is entitled?

I’d much rather help a living breathing neighbor in need than expand the bank accounts of the greedy few who think they’re entitled. They’re no more entitled than a poor child on the street or an elderly person who worked their whole lives paying into social security and medicare. Hello, that’s not an entitlement. It IS bought and paid for by us, for us.

The government should be working for us, by us, and not against us.

History shows time and again what happens to governments who FAIL the people. This will be no different. Take heed.

Continuing the “same old” will not create the paradigm shift for which this country is badly in need.

The change is coming, yet people can decide how it will go down – peacefully or not. Decide.

The people are the enemy of the state … for two reasons. First, the “state” is the government and the people are certainly their enemy since we won’t allow them to do as they please.

But I also understand that FDR had a special meeting of Congress about Christmas somewhere around 1933. As a side to what they were doing (studying the problems with banking since people were running on the banks) Congress declared war on the citizens of the US and then surrendered to the Navy (which is the only military set up permanently by the Constitution) in the name of the citizens. That made all citizens of the US “prisoners-of-war”. So obviously the citizens are enemies of the state.

This is probably not the first time I disagree with most of these posts however I may have to go with the state on this one.Doctors and nurses working in a Children’s Hospital are not in the business of poisoning and torturing kids.I am sure they are more than likely right in this case and they had no choice but to report this to the state or they would be liable if and when the child dies for malpractice. The parents probably did some Internet research and came up with their thoughts on the matter to make an argument with the professionals that see this kind of thing every day.I know of someone stage four non Hodgkin’s lymphoma totally against chemo and all the other poisons. However when it came to that or die the choice was chemo, with rituxan ,Adriamycin (Doxorubicin aka Red Devil), hair loss and all the other goodies involved.Today that person is still alive after those treatments cancer is in remission after ten years. The Doctors, Nurses and yes the State are trying to keep this child alive.Everything is just not some big evil scheme to kill or a conspiracy of some sort. There are so many lives that are saved by the drugs put out by big Pharma today that it would make your head spin.Take a look at some of the numbers of folks running for the cure that are actually survivors due to big Pharma. It would be best not to mislead people into thinking the meds will not help them and leave this to the professionals.Thank you.PS Second opinions are also recommended.

Since quality of life is the most important thing for me, I would rather do without the treatment, just as I did without it for HepC. If I had gotten chemo for it, odds are that I would have been very sick and lost my business at the time, as well as suffering lingering aftereffects. No thanks. If I got cancer, I would not go the chemo route. But I’m not getting cancer, so it’s a moot point. At any rate, if people paid more attention to their bodies and giving them what they need, there would be less of all diseases. The body is made to cure itself given the right conditions, and chemicals ain’t one of those conditions as far as I’m concerned.

Back around 1970 or so, I saw an editorial on cancer by a newspaper editor in the Mid-West. (Sorry, they didn’t have internet then so I didn’t try to remember better.)

In it, he stated that the medical profession in the US had no interest in curing cancer. He stated that when the cure for polio came out, it put about 1.5 million medical people (doctors, nurses, etc.) working for the Polio Foundation out of work. They stayed out of work for about two years before they organized the group to research “childhood diseases” (March of Dimes). If cancer was cured (then) it would put over 10 million people out of work. (Probably a lot more now.) Instead, all research on cancer was not on how to cure it but on how to keep you alive longer while you had it. One of his proofs was that all the “cures” the Cancer Foundation and other groups had developed actually caused cancer rather than cured it. Further, he stated that if any cure for cancer ever was found, it would be found by another country. Another proof that the Cancer Foundation was not interested in curing cancer was their immediate insistence that any possible cure another country that was reported was a failure BEFORE anyone had a chance to investigate it … generally the same day it was announced. He said that if a pill costing $10,000 each came out that would cure cancer, the medical industry would get less money than they would if they could keep a person alive for 20 years with the disease and charge him for treatement.

This story reminds me of one I saw in the news many years ago. Cancer specialists in Los Angeles gave a 3 year old boy 4 months to live. There was nothing they could do, they told the parents. The parents took the boy to Mexico to get him treatment that wasn’t approved in the US. He died when he was 7. (If the doctors were right about the 4 month life, then the Mexican treatement kept him alive for four more years.) When they came back to the US shortly after the boy died, the doctors filed murder charges against the parents for getting the boy treatment that wasn’t allowed here. I never heard how that came out.

A friend of ours died of cancer about five years ago. Several of us tried to research cancer on internet at the time. One friend spent a lot of time at it. Interestingly enough she found that one common plant had been used by Indians and settlers back in the 1800s for treatment. (The woman’s dog was bringing her that plant from her yard when they went out to walk.) The various cancer centers were ignoring it. Further, she found that a doctor in the early 1900s had come up with a treatment for throat cancer which now has about a 10% chance of recovery. He found that cancer cells would die at about 105 degrees. He would give them strep throat – which raises the temperature of the throat to about 115 degrees. The feds shut him down since it was “wrong to give one dangerous disease to heal another” … even though he had a 95% recovery rate. At that time they didn’t have antibiotics to cure strep.

I don’t think when some one goes into remission they are considered cured, it is just a matter of that individual having a prolonged life and the cancer could return any day.The waiting rooms are pretty much filled to capacity with cancer patients that have insurance and the rest are told there is no help or hope for them. With all the testing that can be done on a person today they no longer say, died of natural causes. To be told you have cancer and they can’t help must hit these people like a ton of bricks especially if they know someone with insurance and there is hope.

The government is corrupt from top to bottom. The FDA is not our friend, and they are so bound up in regulations and forms that they cannot, I repeat, CANNOT think for themselves. The rely on charts and tables to diagnose problems, and anyone with half a brain knows that most problems humans have differ in many cases. This is why doctors go to school, so they can actually analyze a case. One screw won’t fit all holes, unless, of course, you drive some with a mallet; many, many people die due to medical procedures that are performed by government idiots that are too stubborn to initiate a referral to someone who can actually help a victim.
