Yesterday, at least six cars pulled into my driveway. All were cops, some were veterans. They were on their way to the college of which I live on the edge of. Something about a drill team I think. Their reason for stopping was my inverted flag, which carries a meaning of extreme dispair. After a short conversation they discovered that this is my protest against the Obama administration. They stated the obvious, that this was my right. I could see that they weren’t sure how they felt about my protest when they left. I had more questions for them but they left almost as quickly as they came. If they only knew that I was sitting on a gun mount on a navy destroyer at the same time John McCain was sitting in his fighter, re: Cuban Crisis, submarines of October. Now declassified! I also put in for Nam twice, they wouldn’t let me, go but I did volunteer. I love my country and I didn’t serve her in uniform to see her destroyed by a progressive socialist. I expect the guys pulled into your driveway because flying the flag upside down is a distress signal in the same league as using an SOS signal. While it’s true that you have a right to fly your flag upside down, they may have felt a bit put off because they stopped at your house thinking there was someone who needed to be rescued.

So good to know you are o.k and a great American as am I. Being friends and neighbors brings back wonderful memories. God bless you for your bravery and service. P.S. This Whitehouse regime belongs in jail.

Yes! And I will campaign for and render $$ aide to any candidate that runs on a platform of impeachment and treason for this administration!

Wow. I didn’t realize that flying our flag upside down was a signal for trouble. I thought it was a sign of disrespect. It’s good to know the facts, but saddens me to see it none-the-less. I was just hearing over the weekend about Obama weighing in on the mosque thing.
It’s just amazing how dictators and non-citizen-terrorist-wanna-be elected officials (this one sitting in the WH), never hold any intrinsic value to our Constitution unless it suits their purpose.
