This magnificent show of “I AM FIXING THE PROBLEM” is ludicrous. All the politics and posturing is nothing more than a power grab by the self appointed leader of the new world order President Obama. First of all the new oversight agency of the govt is another huge appendage of govt control and second of all, the real problem players in the meltdown, Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac are not under the legislative umbrella to be regulated to the extent that they will not create financial havoc like they did with all the toxic home loans they were making with only the immediate profit motive driving their agenda while they full well knew that eventually many of the people makeing loans could never pay them back. Senator Dodd is a liberal democrat who is on the list of the ten most corrupt politicians, so I would not trust anything this Senator introduces unless I had the jurisprudence of a supreme court lawyer review it. Thirdly if the govt oversight fails because they were spending too much time watching porn on the internet like the SEC was recently caught doing, then all this legislation will do would be to allow the catastrophe to occur but make it easier for the FED to bust heads and delve out jail time mainly to the party that is not in power. Govt will take over too much of the private sector because they will always know whats best for WE THE PEOPLE. We have to stop bigger govt, deficits and the liberl agenda or we are not going to have a country to allow our kids to persue any part of the American dream.
