Mexico Joins Legal Battle Against Arizona Immigration Law

June 28, 2010 by

Mexico joins legal battle against Arizona immigration law Mexico filed a brief with the United States District Court last Tuesday challenging Arizona’s controversial new immigration law. Officials with the Mexican government argue that the statute is unconstitutional and endangers the rights of thousands of citizens who legally visit the U.S each day.

The new law creates "an imminent threat of state-sanctioned bias or discrimination, resulting not only in individual injury but also in broader social and economic harms to its citizens," read the brief.

"Mexican citizens will be afraid to visit Arizona for work or pleasure out of concern that they will be subject to unlawful police scrutiny and detention," it added.

The motion also notes that the new law would adversely affect the relationship between the U.S. and Mexican governments, and could hamper the two nation’s collaborative effort to fight drug trafficking and border violence, according to Fox News.

By submitting the brief, Mexico formally joins one of five separate lawsuits that challenge the law, which is scheduled to go into effect on July 29.

In response to Mexico’s legal action, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer reiterated her belief that the "immigration enforcement laws are both reasonable and constitutional."

    Talk about guts. The Mexican Government has no right to do this. Perhaps Arizona needs to counter sue them for all the illegals, all the damage and the drugs crossing the border. Better yet put the Mexican Pres on trial for the murders his people commited on this side of the border. Give him the death sentance…

    • Navy_seal

      As a former seal I think we the people should get out of the Middle East and bring our troops home and line the southern U.S. border with the troops and that would stop all the illigals from crossing the border.
      and yes the law passed be Arizona is the same law that the U. S. government has on the books now, but the problem is the Justice Department is too Woossy to enforce this immigration law, but yet the President keeps talking about reforming the immigration law. Which means that they want to give amnisty to all illigals already in the U.S.

  • TIME

    Our court system {should} toss this case out as not only a frivolous suit, as it clearly is insufficent as a matter of law.

    But as well ventures into a form of Extortion by Mexico to the United States to allow behavior that they as in Mexico clearly will not allow within their bourders.

    The maddness of this issue is beyond Absurd.

    • William

      time. if we had a president instead of the fake who is defiling the oval office this would never be happening. eric holder should be fired and obummer should be IMPEACHED immediately. maybe in nov. 010 and 012 we can clean house and hopefully get some people in office who will uphold the constitution which these slimeball are trying to destroy,

      • jomama

        William -
        Remember – no other president has done anything about this either. NOW – the Mexican president is using blackmail to get what he wants/demands from us.
        Like everyone else before him (Obama) – he will crumble. He will give the whole damn country away to whoever he can (like Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor & also the illegal aliens) before he is done.
        Picture this:
        Tough military men & women running from the front lines with their limp wrists flapping in the breeze.
        Or:
        Obama with a gold & red velvet crown on his head.
        Yeah, it’s coming – sooner than you think.

        • 45caliber

          The Democrats neither like nor trust the military. They consider anyone who would volunteer to be a frustrated murderer.

          I think their big push for gays in the military is because they KNOW that many already there would quit. They want to reduce the size of the military by making it a gay sex club.

          • Diana

            America is becoming weak due to its division and lawlessness. As a result, Americans no longer have the will to make sacrifices necessary to fight and win wars. “We are not prepred to die to defend our security, as we were in the pat, ” Gerald Flurry writes. “This is the supreme sign that our will has been broken — and that our republic cannot stand.” That broken will was prophesied in Leviticus 26:19, where God said He would “break the pride of your power.” The unwinnable war in Afganistan being fought w/a politically correct “just war” strategy, is a result of that curse. Can you see it?

        • LocalYokel

          But can you embrace the statement made by Patrick Henry on March 23,1775? Notice that even then he chose to remain active in state politics rather than risk what Santa might deliver to him in national politics.

      • Diana

        Amen to that, William. What other president OF ANY COUNTRY would allow another country to file a suit in an American court? When God was talking about human government in the last days, He said through Isaiah 1:7 “Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, STRANGERS DEVOUR IT IN YOUR PRESENCE, and it is desolate, as OVERTHROWN BY STRANGERS.”

        • http://zzzz Preston

          7/1/10, You are so right, Diana; Nikita Kruchev once told us he would bury us —-as he banged his shoe on the table.
          Well….it’s now happening under the BHO gov’t. I’m almost 63 & I believe I will see armed revolution in my lifetime; everything points in that direction.
          We are vulnerable to attack from enemies both foreign & domestic. It’s sad but true. ~~~~p.weiters~~~~

      • http://yahoo Daisysue

        Well Obummer gave pres. calderon more than he alloted for the state
        of Arizona for border patrol.
        That don’t piss me off half as bad as the $20,000,000 he gave to the People of Gaza ( HAMASS ) some sort of aid program. What a pile of it. Just donateing his cousins a little of our TAX MONEY for their weapons program. bad words bad words, bad words

  • Peg

    Since when does Mexico have any say in the United States laws? As for Mexicans afraid to visit Arizona, only the illegals will be afraid, and that’s how it should be! Anyone here legally, only has to show their papers and all will be fine. No legal papers and off you go to jail!! I think every state should adopt this law!!!!

    • David in Ma.

      Showing papers to prove one is in America legally is already required, it’s nothing new!

      • Jana

        David in Ma.,

        I went on a trip to Singapore a few years back. The first thing I was told was to keep my passport with me at all times. I did. I never did anything to be asked for my papers, but if I had been asked I would have gladly shown them.
        The same thing happened when I went to Germany, France, Scotland and Ireland. I kept my passport in a holder that went around my neck. In other words, I complied with the laws of that particular land.
        Mexico is showing they have no respect for our laws, they are trying to bully us into compliance. Obama is trying to bully Arizona into his compliance. Shoot, he is tryng to bully all of us into Socialism and Communism. He surrounds himself with Communists and has stated he likes and feels comfortable with their ideologies.

      • Diana

        Really! Ever tried to write a check (even if you’ve done business with the stupid bank for years) without any ID – or an expired ID?!? Not to mention another “required” ID.

        • Bud in San Antone

          Diana, when the new health programs begin everyone will have a national ID then. They have tried every other way to initiate this and now it’s a done deal.

        • LocalYokel

          There was a time when owner operators of any business or local government servant knew and respected all their customers and voters on sight. Population and government explosion paralleled by continued devaluation of currency has caused the necessity of business expansion to the point where the means is no longer visible from either extreme. Security measures have evolved into being more of an insurance requirement or indirect monetary protection a handled by hired hands thereby sheltering the elite from the filth of parasitic competition between insurance moguls and overpopulated barrister ranks. Now guess who pays their added expense.

    • William

      peg since so many IDIOTS voted for the clown who is defiling the oval office now.

    • Margi Popp

      Peg, I agree, if you are legal then you have nothing to fear. Living in Arizona myself gives me new fears for traveling to California to see my best friend and she is concerned with travel to Arizona as well. This is not fair, this is my country not Mexico. We will still travel to each others homes however we will be more alert to our surroundings. This has to end, we need our country back and the freedoms of which we all have earned through sacrifice through loss of our loved ones protecting our country.

      • Jana

        Margi Popp,
        As far as I am concerned, if they are afraid to visit Arizona (which I highly doubt) then let them stay home or visit someplace else!

        • L. Sintros

          I live in Florida (5th generation)and we need a law like Arozona’s.
          The illegals are taking over our state! Not only from the southern border but also from the Caribbean. 29 illegal Cubans landed yeaterday!

    • john

      Peg,
      You are right on the money!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • L. Sintros

      Absolutely!

    • Allan

      There is something called the Alien Tort Act which allows foreigners to sue. Not sure if it is what applies to a country. But really it boils down to how liberal the judge is who decides whether there is cause.

    • Linda

      It is because of Mexico that they are all here! Tell Mexico to take them all home and pay for their sorry asses instead of expecting the Americans to be a charity all! let’s boycott Mexico and don’t buy anything imported from there! What a bunch of hyprocrites their laws are more strict than ours! These people are ILLEGAL time to step up to the plate Americans and take our country and our English back!

      • LocalYokel

        One would think that the idea would be widely accepted since the cost of flying them all back at first class rates is cheaper than a year of entitlements forced onto them by waiting government agencies.

    • http://zzzz Preston

      7/1/10, Peg, The BHO gov’t has sold us out even prior to assuming office.
      We should demand a barrel (42gal.)from Pemex for every single wetback that invades our territory. Instead we get a lecture before Congress by Calderon on why Arizona’s 1070 is so bad. What’s wrong with us? how did we elect such a tinhorn dictator? Stupidity, maybe?

      • LocalYokel

        No doubt, judging by his latest admission that all southbound shipments INTO Mexico are all inspected.

  • JC

    If a representative of the Mexican government wants to show up in a US Court to plead his case, I defy him to tell anyone who he is advocating for without referring to race.
    The whole idea is as ridiculous as it gets, but that’s lefty / commie psychology for you…

    • Jeep

      Someone should check “the papers” of the Mexican representative!

      • JC

        We should send him home with a couple of hundred thousand illegals under each arm.

        • Jeep

          LOL…YES!

    • Diana

      Good thought. However, I believe it only refers to the majority minority of our day, that being TAX PAYING, WORKING AMERICANS.

      • JC

        In their unimaginable kindness, those are the Americans that have been quiet too long. But that is changing.

        • Jana

          JC,
          YAHOOOOOO

  • Stephen Smith

    The most absurd briefing from a foreign country about their illegal criminals!!!
    Do they not care about their own responsibility in allowing illegals across the border? Maybe we should take over Mexico over this issue!

    I suggest that we send the legal bills to Mexico for all illegals (past and currents).
    2nd, Have the mexican Govt pick them up with PROOF OF ID! No proof no releast, but still pay the bill for their lock up. What do you think Mexico does?

    Then see if there is just cause for REPEATING violators for criminal/felony lockup… Mexico pays the bill!!!

    Then see how the US/Mexico turns out!

    • William

      well Stephan that would be a good idea but for one thing. mexico cant and wont pay the bills, what we should do is start executing repeat offenders. look at the americans who have been killed because of the laxness of our own government officials who should be charged tried and convicted of dereliction of duties ans violation of their oath of office. if a lowely enlisted man were found guilty of violating the same oath he-she would be dishonarably discharged as a minimum,

      • Richard Pawley

        William, what most don’t know is that more Americans have been killed by illegal aliens then were killed by terrorists on 9/11! Don’t believe it? Do the research, look it up. On top of that there have been over one million sex crimes committed by illegal aliens. This is just considered a “cost of doing business” by Congress but the blood of those Americans is on the House and on the Senate. They may not consider it important but the law of the Universe apply whether one believes it them or not. THEY WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! I suggest that before the Laws of the Universe apply that these Congressman be held accountable NOW and that we vote them out in November. If we wait until 2012 will be to late! It is NOVEMBER OR NEVER!

        • http://zzzz Preston

          7/1/10, Rich, don’t get your hopes up too high; the GOP sold us out, too. To quote the one & only Bob Grant: “It’s over,folks. We’re slipping & sliding precipitously into third worldism.” ~~p.weiters~~

    • Stephen Smith

      And one more thing…

      And President Obama wants to give Mass Amnesty to these illegals!!!
      NO WAY!!!

      • http://myronjpoltroonian.blogspot.com Myron J. Poltroonian

        One Executive Order too far, leading to Mass Amnesty, will lead to Mass Insurrection. Plain and simple. If “We, the People” win, we all win. If “They, the Statists” Win, “We, the People” lose. Perhaps forever. (Remember: Always aim just below the blue helmet. No matter what color it is.)

      • Colonel Skee

        Let’s use them for live fire exercises,wont cost the government a dime,we already paid[SS etc] and let them earn the right to be here,if they survive they stay,if they dont too bad. It would be great training for our troops for the coming immigrant & drug lord wars which are brewing.See you at the range!

      • http://zzzz Preston

        7/1/10, Steph, Bam could be one, himself. This issue has been carefully squashed. The state of Hawaii passed a statute proscribing any further inquiries on BHO’s birthplace; according to them, he was born in HI, you don’t think so? Well tough s***. Nice, huh? ~~~p.weiters~~~

    • Jana

      Stephen,
      Maybe the People of the united States ought to bring suit aagainst Mexico.
      The drug cartels are threatening our border patrols, and the police if they dare get their drugs or drug money. I say STOP this nonsense now.

      • http://zzzz Preston

        7/1/10, Yeah Jana, we’ll take payment in oil (Pemex); fat chance, Jana.

      • http://zzzz Preston

        7/1/10, Guy, Jana, Calderon can pay us in oil (Pemex). Both gov’ts –ours & theirs– are corrupt. This campus radical-turned-prez is a disgrace.
        ~~~~p.weiters~~~~~~~~
    • 45caliber
      Stephen: You asked if they don’t care for their responsibility towards these illegals. Of course they do! They are getting them out of their own country so they no longer have to take care of them! They want it to be our job.
      Some Congressman has a bill to incorporate Mexico into the US. Actually I think Mexico wants to incorporate the US into Mexico.
      • JC
        Google: North American Union.
  • Al Sieber
    Bring it on Mexico, the Ariz. law was well researched out, they didn’t just jump into it. our gov. covered every angle and detail before she signed the bill.
    • Jana
      Al,
      And when Mexico loses, they have to pay all of the court costs, and then we turn around and sue the socks off of them!
      • Bud in San Antone
        They don’t have socks for thier choes
    • L. Sintros
      Al, are the Arizona people firmly behind the governor? I hope nothing upsets her. I see that even old McCain has done an about face. For years I wondered why the people kept sending him to the Senate as he has always advocated open borders and Amnesty, i.e.,the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Bill.
      • Al Sieber
        L.Sintros, yes, a vast majority of the citizens here are for it. the illegals aren’t.
      • rwnut
        L.Sintros…RINO Teddy McCain has NOT done an about face.That’s what he wants everyone to believe,hoping he will be re-elected. Don’t be fooled! McCain is a wolf in sheeps clothing!Vote for J.D.Hayworth!
        • JC
          McCain is a Globalist who’s loyalties are no longer to the United States.
    • http://zzzz Preston
      7/1/10, Al, to carry some sort of identification is not an unreasonable stipulation. In some places you can be detained until someone figures out who you are. Think about it. ~~~p.weiters~~~
  • David in Ma.
    Isn’t it about time someone read Mexico’s immigration policy?
    Perhaps the illegal Mexican immigrants flooding America should be processed under Mexican Law & not U.S.Law, then there would be no argument from Mexico,’cuz if there were they would have to change their law in order to bitch about any other countries immigration laws.
    Look into it, check out Mexico’s & other countries immigration law, you might be supprised by them.
    Mexico needs the money immigrants (legal & illegal) send back to Mexico, otherwise the country would crumble from lack of funds to operate…the taxes the drug peddelers pay just can’t carry the corrupt Mexican government.
    • john
      Mexico’s do as I say do, not what Mexico does, is their stance.
      I think anything that 3rd world toilet bowl has to say, should have NO impact on what one of our sovereign states decides to do to protect their borders!
      • 45caliber
        Mexico wants the US to accept ONLY Mexicans here. The rest should be shuffled off. And they do their best to insure they do – one way or another.
  • Fay
    I agree with Time, Peg JC and Stephen Smith all sound like good ideas to Me.
  • Carol
    This is rediculous that Mexico should be able to file suit in our courts against our laws. Apparently, Mexico doesn’t want these people either since they want to force us to keep them. This tells me they are either criminals that Mexico doesn’t want to house in their jails or that if not criminals they are a means of more money being sent to Mexico. I believe it is both reasons equally. Right now, American money needs to be earned and spent in the USA, considering how our economy is taking a hit.
  • ROBERT
    This is beyond absurd. It’s like the Sheetheads building a mosque in the shadow of Ground Zero as a monument to their victory over the USA, and Bloomberg the Boob allowing it. The inmates are running the asylum.
  • k1oik
    Ummm, which Constitution was it that the Mexican Government were concerned about? Did they use the version that was translated into Spanish for them?
    • http://Livingston M Jodan
      Exactly K1oik!! Which constitution is the Mexican government referring to???
  • J.M.R.
    HEY MEXICO CLEAN UP YOUR OWN COUNTY, ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHAT OUR LAWS ARE.
    • Isirio Abelon
      J.M.R.,Bravo, agreed. Mexico suing Arizona? how stupid Americans we are, they invaded our country, they rape, murder our citizens, distribute tons of drugs, we pay their health care, we pay their educations, they take our job. What part does our elected official do not understand. If you are s Democrats, voted for Democrats, you are a moron and stupid. Support Arizona. Gov. Jan Brewer is doing the right thing for you and I. Adios.
      isirio
      • a sceptic
        Well, you’re getting carried away here. “They” rape, “they” murder, “they” distribute tons of drugs?? Mexico as a country is responsible for none of these. There may be individuals, as with from any race, who commit these type of heinous crimes, but your commentary shows that you are willing to label all Latinos as offenders. Where is the evidence to show this? If anything, statistics in other border states are showing a lessening of criminal activity not the all-out pilaging that you´re claiming.
        While it does seem rather odd that Mexico would want its day in court, a simpler explanation for this is that it wants to ensure that the perspective of Mexican within the U.S. (legally or illegally) gets heard. No one here is going to speak up for them… or indeed, ever listen to their stories and hopes for a brighter future.
        America until lately was always the land of opportunity, and people came from nations around the world to try to live the American dream, with their only requirement for entry their willingness to work hard to make it. By far the majority of illegals are hard workers… just ask anyone in construction or agriculture. (The same can’t be said for most white folk.) Some may abuse the welfare system… but the percentage is much lower than with other races, and if that’s really the problem then clean it up… for everybody.
        In the meantime, people, Amerika is rapidly becoming the land of government surveillance and sealed borders… along with a substancial dose of xenophobia that is turning quickly into outright racism and violence. Does that sound vaguely familiar… like maybe something out of WWII?
        Isorio, do you even know any Latin families? My advice is: Chill out!
        Take an evening and watch a Clint Eastwood film… “Gran Torino”, for example.
        You
        • Jana
          a sceptic,
          If Mexico allows its citizens to grow and distribute drugs, and helps their citizens to come across the border illegally, and by the way they do, then yes, MEXICO is responsible. Don’t think for a minute the United States isn’t blamed for some of the things their citizens do that is bad or wrong.
          Of course I realize you don’t really want an answer, you just want to spout your Socialistic ways and will not want to accept reason or common sense.
          You said no one is speaking up for the Mexicans either legal or illegal. That is not true. There are a lot of people speaking up for them, Obama being number one. By the way you are speaking up for them, are you a no one?
          One more point, we love immigration here in this country, its the illegal immigration that we are opposed to, but you already know that.
        • Jeep
          Septic tank, your assessment is completely wrong. Of course, your true colors show through with, “The same can’t be said for most white folk”. Really? You deride others for using generalities, too bad you don’t follow your own advice. Well, that’s typical. Instead of “chilling out” why don’t you go spend a few days on our border with those mild mannered illegals streaming across into our country.
          Fact- they are breaking the law. Nothing more needs to be said.
          Fact- Arizona’s law is less restrictive than Federal Law.
          Fact- There is a legal method for becoming a US citizen available.
          There are many more appropriate responses, such as the costs associated with illegal immigration, that could be argued. But, what else needs to be said? It’s illegal.
        • 45caliber
          “There may be individuals, as with from any race, who commit these type of heinous crimes, but your commentary shows that you are willing to label all Latinos as offenders.”
          They ARE all offenders! Perhaps not of those stated crimes but they are certainly an offender of our immigration laws!
        • J.M.R.
          TO A SCEPTIC I GUESS YOU HAVEN’T BEEN WATCHING THE RIGHT NEWS STATION, THEY ARE PROTESTING IN OUR STREETS, TRAMPLING OUR FLAG AND THESE ARE SUPPOSE TO GOOD PEOPLE [REALLY]AND MOST OF THEM PROBABLY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE PROTESTING ABOUT.             That is because they really think they have won and are part of this country. It won’t be long and it will be a reality. Our government does not give a damn about us or the constitution. It is terrible what your government has given away.
          That piss pot called Mexico will remain that way untill it’s own people stand up on thier hind legs and take back thier country. How many other nations have taken over Mexico in the past? Too many. Mexico’s people have the numbers, if each one of them would would pick up a rock and toss it against a Federalies, politicians or a dope dealers skull they could take back thier nation. Don’t bring your trash here to dump it.
I came here to the United States legally, however, my sister is still awaiting for her call from the US immigration office. This has been since 1988. The delay, is because of the influx of illegals who jump over the fence,
          across the borders without any respect for the Laws of our country. I don’t know what your current position. If you are illegally in this country PLEASE TURN-IN YOURSELF AND DO IT the RIGHT way. There is no limits to anyone who desire to come here in this great Country, provided they do it the right way. STAY IN LINE AND WAIT FOR YOUR TURN.
          I am not getting carried away… its the facts, they rape, murder, they distribute tons of drugs, take away our jobs, we pay their health care, we pay their educations etc. Sceptic, where have you been, are you listening to the news. This is the reason why Gov. Jan Brewer set up a new immigration law in Arizona. My respect to Congress Woman Gifford (D) AZ who supports the Arizona Immigration law
          as well. Listen to Fox news or Rush Limbaugh. You don’t have to believe them but at least you have to compare who is telling the truth. I have confidence in all Latinos, they are good people, conservative, religious and believe in the almighty.
          I am a retired Military and I have an obligation to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States against domestic or foreign enemy. You should be proud yourself as I am, enjoying the generosity of this great Country, the Freedom and pursue of happiness. Stand up for America, be American. Tell your illegal friends to do the thing. Stay on line and wait for their turn. Adios.
          Well, you’re getting carried away here. “They” rape, “they” murder, “they” distribute tons of drugs?? Mexico as a country is responsible for none of these. There may be individuals, as with from any race, who commit these type of heinous crimes, but your commentary shows that you are willing to label all Latinos as offenders.
          Are you trying to call yourself “Skeptic”?
          And no we’re not trying to label all latinos as rapists and murderers.
          We’re trying to deport illegal aliens. So, put your race card away…it has no place in this debate! Not for you, not for the Feds and most certainly not for Mexico.
        • RL
          Wake up do your research We the people of America are a laughing stock. They the illegals laugh at us as we pay for their schooling and their medical bills they.       J.M.R.,Bravo, agreed. Mexico should clean up their own country. What part does our elected official do not understand. If you are s Democrats, voted for Democrats, you are a moron and stupid. Support Arizona. Gov. Jan Brewer is doing the right thing for you and I. Adios.
      There’s a word for law in Mexican, I think it’s “Mordida”.
  • Peg
    Robert, I agree, The Inmates are running the Asylum!!
  • s c
    Mexico can go hump itself. They’ve worked long and hard to put new wrinkles on the face of border hypocrisy. Only in a country where politicians tend to be incompetent, basically worthless and budding CRIMINALS could a forked-tongue geekoid like Calderon be treated with any respect.
    Does it have to be said what’s wrong with a country like Mexico having higher immigration standards than the US? If Calderon’s elevator ever went to the top floor, he’s managed to find a way to act just like an American politician (full of himself, arrogant, nothing-between-the ears and fit only for public ridicule).
    Being a Mexican politician must be like finding a job at a place where they can’t keep their employees. Either there’s something in the water in Mexico, or they’re brought up to confuse genius with retardation.
  • Michelle
    This is an absolute disgrace. The United States should file a law suit against Mexico for stealing our jobs, health care, housing, food and money. Since when do forgein governments have the right to sue us for upholding our laws? But since our own ignotent president hasn’t read and does not want to uphold the law does this actually surprise anyone?
    • 45caliber
      We should also file a suit against them for growing and shipping drugs into the US.
    • JC
      That’s because most recently and most notably the Kenyan has
      turned the office of POTUS into a disgrace.
  • Michelle
    is there anyone out there that is willing to file suit against Mexico? because maybe we should do the same thing to them for killing our citizens and stealing our jobs, food, housing, healthcare, etal.
  • M.L.
    The problem that Iam having as I have mentioned before is what about the rights of the two thousand Americans that are raped and murdered each year. Perhaps that should be brought up in court not just the one rancher. I think they deserve some reconition. For Heaven sake these are our fellow Americans. There is no comparison in in the number of deaths and the so called racial profiling, the only defense thewy have.
    When the bastards, drug and mexicans are shooting at us, it it time to round up the beltways asses and have them stand on the border. When lead starts flying, lets see what the gut less lice from Washington plan on solving this breach of our borders? Since the thugs fired first, it is our option to see who fires the last solvo. We haven’t started to load yet. Tell the socialist Mexican to take a flying self intercourse in a rolling pastry, this is the USA not Mexico, if he wants to push it, we will just have to dismantle Mexico and take it over as a out reach planned country.
    • Isirio Abelon
      Hi, Jerry. Darn… America is already run by Kenyan. Obama’s father is from Kenya!. Obama is 50% Kenya and 50% American. Hey its not President Obama’s fault, Obama does not have the experienced to be the President of the United States. Joe Biden, has quoted during primary 2008 that Obama is not qualified to be a president. Blame your Democratic elected officials and the morons who voted for them…
      By the way, the Congress approval rating is 27%. Democrats has been in control since 2006, thats when the crises begun. Same Clintons cronies like Chris Dodd, Barney Frank and others are involved. Darn… Darn. Adios.
    What Mexico thinks about anything is superfluous , and contradictory to logical thinking , and is indictive of their enormously LOW I.Q . To even suggest those MORONS should have anything to say regarding U.S.A. polocy is insulting and disgusting beyond belief. Common sense says there is no gray area and it’s either black or white. The only common sense answer is Keep your nose out of our business. We don’t interfere with you and yours when you corruptly deal with anyone that enters Mexico. Oh how the politicians have ruined our legal system.
    There is only one thing the Mexicans have to consider. Are they Legal or are they Illegal. If they are legal they will have ID, if they are not they will not have ID; Not too confusing to me;
    • http://myronjpoltroonian.blogspot.com Myron J. Poltroonian
      Better change that to “Legal, Valid Identification”. Mexico has a visa that they distribute like candy at a state fair, to any and all who ask for it; wherever they are.
      • Jana
        Myron,
        Exactly and they also hand out pamphlets to instruct these illegals as to where to go in the US to get these free things, such as housing and health care and welfare.
  • Bev
    When will we get someone to stand up for America,Americans, and by extension Arizona? The situation is grave.
    • JC
      We stand or fall together.
      Bev…. keep your guns handy along with plenty of ammo. This could come down to more than you think befor it’s over!
    The Constitution for These United States DOES NOT APPLY to Mexico, nor to any citizen of Mexico.
    What is it about this that anyone fails to comprehend?
    • JC
      Well you’d pretty much have to burn the Constitution to buy into that.
      They have no Constitutional rights as American citizens last I checked.
  • eddie47d
    Some of Mexico’s complaints are valid most are not so the lawsuit seems ridicules. Jan Brewers complaints are probably more valid and she has a right to defend her state against these rising tax services. Calderon needs to file a lawsuit against his own States for all the drug trafficing and find internal solutions to their poverty. That being said; Every country has a right to complain about another country for we all effect each other. We’ve been angry at the Mexican govt. for decades and they seldom listen so why should we listen to them. We also poke our noses in other countries affairs all over the world. We invade countries and rewrite their laws and try to set up our form of government. We find Muslim laws to be dispicable and demand that they change> They seldom do. We blockade and boycott the Cuban nation expecting change and that has been going on for 50 years. (I think that boycott should end). As you all know I’m not against immigrants working in America;but I am angry at the Mexican government for taking advantage of us and using us as their sugar daddy. So Calderon is biting the hand that feeds him.
    • TIME
      Eddie,
      I am shocked and stunned by your post, perhaps there is hope for you dude, I thnak you for the post you made as it shows you do really care about the USA.
      As well ist obvious that you do see the light so please just focus on whats not under that light, whats hidden fron view thats going on.
      This all really has not one single thing to do with Dem’s or Rep’s, This is an American thing and as we all are Americans we should work together to break the hold of the Progressive Marxist that wish our destruction and to make Slaves of us all.
      • Jana
        Time, are we sure that is the real eddie47d?
        What just happened here? He exhibeted some common sense. Wow.
        • 45caliber
          Don’t worry. I’m sure it isn’t a lasting condition.
        • JC
          He’s been doing that a little more lately.
      • Bud in San Antone
        Eddie: You really went all out on that one. Don’t be so tough and mean now.
    • L. Sintros
      Yes, Eddie, the boycott against Cuba should end, it should never have been put in place. And we in Florida should NEVER have been flooded with Cubans! They are some of the most arrogant, obnoxious, overbedaring people in the world. Too bad that we can’t lift the boycott and then repatriate them all back to Cuba! The illegal ones are still coming, 29 just yesterday. We have a Federal law especially for our state. It is called the “Dry Foot Wet Foot Law”. If an illegal Cuban can set his foot on dry land then just like that he can stay!
    • Al Sieber
      So eddie47, why do we have to take care of Mexico’s problems? who assigned the U.S. to make sure they have jobs, housing, medical, social services etc. they’re going be the final downfall of the U.S. or close to it. you probably don’t work and live in you mom’s basement or garage. get a job, and wake up to whats happening to this country.
      • eddie47d
        We only have to take care of those who were legally hired by U.S. corporations and/or attempting to gain citizenship through proper channels. If they come accross the border/airport without permits to work or a corporation hires them without proper papers then that’s a different matter. Even with all our unemployment we still need farm workers and once a farm worker is legally hired then they deserve respect. Housing,medical a decent paycheck,like we all want. What in the world does living in a mother’s basement have to do with anything? Now she can come and live with me anytime she wants.
        • rwnut
          eddie47d…let the slave labor employer pay for his housing,medical and decent wages. Not my taxes! I’ll respect the illegal when he respects me and my country! A job is not the only reason these people are here!
  • Stephen Smith
    How about we get the liberal minded polititians to stand at the borders with a big target on them?
    If they let someone in with no ID… Vote them out!
    If they turn them back… Why are they still a Dummy(Demo)?
    I only voted demo one time and regret it!
  • Andrew
    Mexico is a cesspool of corruption. One person from Mexico told me he couldn’t maintain a legal existence much less a family in Mexico. He didn’t want to leave home or his country. Mexico should concentrate on working for the benefit of their own people before they stick their nose into the U.S. who has problems caused by Mexico.
  • Stephen Smith
    Do we have any evident of SEIU/ACLU behind these immigrants?
    • 45caliber
      The ACLU has filed charges and stated they are against AZ’s law. I’m not sure of the union though. I would think they would be in favor of it since they are taking away American jobs. But I also think that some of their masters might be thinking the illegals will join their union so I don’t really know.
      • marvin
        45 caliber about half of the isu members are illegal all the union cares about is money as in dues
  • angel-wanna-be
    It’s unfathomable enough, that the Feds are suing Arizona over the exact same immigration bill as the feds bill, what’s even worse, they let Mexico have a say___They’re the ones drug running over the border, feeding our addicted kids. But God forbid we patrol and guard out borders, we might hurt someones feelings___Idiots!
  • M. Ballinger
    How about taking good advice from the Mexican government, lets adopt their immigration laws, effect immediately. Problem solved.
    • 45caliber
      That is good by me.
  • ozziemesa
    If the tables were turn…would Mexico do in that cast?
      Mike glad to see their are a few Americans standing up to these bastards, it is about time to take our country back, secure our borders, kick out those that disgrace this wonderful God fearing country. Kick out those people that opose ours laws, our christian beliefs,prayer in the white house. Kick out those money hungry bastards that our destroying this country. Bring back our American industries. And do not purchase any product, that is not made in the USA, BY THE WAY AND IF YOU DO NOT LIKE {IN GOD WE TRUST} ON OUR MONEY, THAN YOU DON”T HAVE TO ACCEPT IT. YOU CAN GET YOUR SORRY ASS OUT OF THIS COUNTRY AS WELL. AND LIVE IN SOME 3RD WORLD COUNTRY, AND SEE WHAT FEAR IS REALLY LIKE, WE DO NOT WANT MUSLEMS TAKING OVER OUR COUNTRY AND OUR BELIEFS. LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. GOD HELP US ALL! AMERICANS WE MUST FIGHT BACK, WITHOUT A REVOLUTION.
      MUST FIGHT BACK
  • M.L.
    Hi Mike, believe me I tried everything. Sent letters, called our leaders,backed and called-on organizations to help. But if a national strike came about, trust me I will be there even if I had to beg for a ride. What would you think of the Americans that have suffered the crimes from the Mexicans turn the tables and sue Mexico for the rapes and murders?
    • 45caliber
      One of the biggest problems is that the Mexicans believe that our legal system is so weak they have nothing to fear if they are caught committing some crime. And, to a certain extent, they are right. Nearly all who are guilty of some crime less than rape or murder are simply sent home. They can take a quick vacation to visit family and slip over again to take up where they left off.
    I found this comment from some idiot teenager in Arizona last spring and responded to it: From an AP story on April 25, 2010: “It’s going to change our lives,” said Emilio Almodovar, a 13-year-old American citizen from Phoenix. “We can’t walk to school any more. We can’t be in the streets anymore without the pigs thinking we’re illegal immigrants.” ¡Yo! ¡Pendejo! [Stupid] The “Police” already think you’re an Illegal Alien. And your parents should wash your mouth out with strong soap. To one and all: Have you read “Men in Black” by Mark Levin, “The Heritage Guide to The Constitution”, or “The Oxford Companion to the Supreme Court of the United States (second edition)”? If you do, you just may reach the conclusion that what has been transpiring is nothing short of a (thus far) bloodless coup. Just as what has been happening along our southern border is, as it’s been called, “The largest peacetime invasion in history”. “The Boiling Frog” allegory comes to mind regarding our educational systems decline and decidedly leftward swerve over the past 60/70 years or so. “Unto the seventh generation” is coming to pass before our very unseeing eyes. Or, so it seems to this observer. BrObama is, in his own mind, the yet to be revealed “12th Imam”. Doing everything he can to hasten the the worldwide conditions necessary for “His Unveiling”. To quote an old friend: “Paranoia is what they call perceptivity, before you’re proven right”. Finally, to paraphrase an old song: “And The Left Rants On”. Addendum: I would add one more little tome to your homework: “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg.
  • http://myronjpoltroonian.blogspot.com Myron J. Poltroonian
    While we’re at it: The Center for disease control (CDC) has been strangely silent regarding the noticeable uptick in once “eradicated” diseases’ in this country. I guess there’re politically incorrect sources involved. Anyone with even half a brain (and, yes, even some bleeding heart liberals will qualify) could figure out that untold numbers of unscreened, Illegal Aliens streaming unchecked across our borders from countries where these diseases are still infecting great numbers of their populations is, in effect, biological warfare. Too strong a term, says you? Not if you look to the land of “Mordida” and see where their third largest source of national wealth is coming from. “Remittances”, that’s where. We already spend far too much trying to shore up Mexico’s bribe ridden government and their totally inadequate efforts to combat their drug cartels. On our side of the border, between the private sector hiring of illegals, politicians trolling for votes, environmentalists suing to keep the border patrol out of “Wilderness” areas, it might appear as if the battle is lost. Thank God for the resiliency and resourcefulness of the American people. Unarmed uniformed National guardsmen are not the answer. Unless, of course you believe Lulac, La Raza, et al would keep that fact a secret from the Coyotes, Cartels, and/or the Mexican Government. (If you do, go sit in the corner with Pollyanna.) The president’s Health Care Law has in it, provisions for a uniformed, armed Health Corps. (“A civilian police force. Just as well armed, just as well funded as the military.” Remember who said those words? If you do, you may leave the corner.) Either every red blooded citizen petitions the Federal government to send these “Health Cops” to the borders to interdict these potential carriers of infectious disease and quarantine them in their newly constructed FEMA Detention Camps, or The States, under the 10th Amendment, exert their sovereign rights and deputize civilian militias to get the job done, since their National Guards would be considered “Armed Military” being used within our borders. (Conflicts with the “Posse Comitatus Act” of 1873.) The states could also, under Eminent Domain, “repatriate” all Federal lands within their borders that abut and/or are strategically located near the international border with our endless supplier of “willing workers”. Then, we will just have to worry about all those “Problemas” coming through California.
      An illegal working as a contractor (with papers even though they were forgeries) died a couple of years ago here where I work of tubercolis (I know I spelled it wrong).
      Five people caught it trying to help him.
      It was reported to the government. The company was told that no one was to mention this to the news media and that they weren’t going to report it anyway since it might frighten the US citizens knowing they were being exposed to such diseases.
      • Jana
        Of course the Gov’t. wouldn’t report this nor make it public. These illegals are bringing in diseases that we have no clue about, and they have no hygenic practises either. Yet these people are working in our restaurants as cooks and our fast food places as cooks. It really is scary to know what is going on out there.
        • Jana
          I do now how to spell, its hygenic practices. Sorry about that.
    Are we MISSING the Point here? Remember, this Incompetent, Unqualified, Empty-Suit, Lying, Loser we have in the White is along with his Communist/Marxist Cronies that he surrounded himself with are “Globalists”. If this Kenyan POS had his way the United Nations would be writing our Laws. This Kenyan Muslim evidently sides with Mexico on this issue, as They BOTH are against Gov. Brewer and Arizonas Law. Did ANYONE EVER believe this GREATEST NATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD, would ever have a Non-American, Muslim, Communist, Marxist, Globalist in the White House???. Look at how far we have Fallen.
  • Tony
    Lets not only blame the gov’t. How about blaming ourselves. We are the one’s that hire the companies that hire these illegals. They do our yard work, do our non union construction and what ever else. Wake up people not only gov’t but WE THE PEOPLE are to blame. Hire the citizen.
  • bobinpa.
    Tony- It seems to me the Unions are in cahoots with this Kenyan Bastard in trying to destroy America. I would never hire an Illegal, but at this point in time Would never hire anion person either. Whatcha Think??
  • bobinpa.
    Supposed to be “A Union person” sorry about that.
    • Tony
      My point is DO Not hire,use or buy product preformed by illegals. My thinking is that if there is no work for them they won’t come. Some will say they will still come. How about looking at it this way if they can only get our free hand outs and no jobs how can they really live and send money home.
      • Jeep
        They will get their money the “old fashioned way”, through gang involvement, drug trafficking, racketeering, prostitution, theft…
  • 45caliber
    It is unconstitutional – in Mexico. Just take a look at what they have.
    I love all the fuss the Mexicans are making in the US about it. Did you know that displaying the Mexican flag is illegal in Mexico? But they do it all the time here. Cinco de Mayo isn’t a holiday there either. They celebrate their Independence Day in the fall. In fact if the Mexicans here tried to demonstrate in Mexico as they do here, they would quickly find themselves in jail!
    And they want Mexico’s “freedoms”!
  • DAH-AZ
    Not only is this a frivolous lawsuit … but really … The Mexican Government is suing us for trying to STOP THEIR FOLKS from illegally entering the USA. You’ve got to be kidding!
    What Arizona should do IMMEDIATELY, is to sue the Mexican Government for the COST of us waging a war against illegals crossing our borders. I watched BORDER WARS last night and was appalled at (WHILE HUMANITARIAN) the expense WE ENDURE “saving these idiots” who are illegally crossing our border by providing water, food, medical attention, then transport off the rugged desert where they became stranded. Add to this cost, all the manpower, fuels, and aircraft & vehicle maintenance we pay just to find these illegals running across the Sonoran Desert.
    UNBELIEVABLE…..Sue Mexico!!!
    • 45caliber
      Mexico doesn’t care if they die in the desert. Why should we? Providing them with places to pick up food and water simply enables them to keep coming, no matter if we are doing it to keep them alive. The way I see it, set these sites up with a switch. The moment someone uses the items, a beacon goes off and the INS picks them up. Sooner or later they will learn not to come if we don’t make it easy for them.
      It is like giving them the national park there in AZ. It simply adds far more border for the INS to try to patrol. Which is why I think the feds gave it to them.
      I think we should have military guarding the border just as other countries (like Mexico) do. If they find someone they simply pick them up and turn them over to INS. If they are shot at, they have full rights to shoot back with any weapon at their disposal. And if some Mexican is killed, oh well. He shouldn’t have shot first.
        I think water with just a dash of soap would be amusing. Not too much, so that it goes into effect when they’re in the smuggler’s vehicle. That would take some of the joy out of being a coyote, when you had to hose out your interior after every trip.
        Let’s just build the fence, man it sufficiently and arm our people with whatever they need. And “Enforce” the law.
          JC,
          Unfortunately we have a man in the office of President who has taken an oath TO THE PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT HIM OUT to not protect this country.
          Obama has sold out our country, I started to say his own country, but its not his country.
    This lawsuit is kind of funny, because as an American citizen, I am afraid to visit Mexico out of concern that I will be subject to unlawful police scrutiny and detention.
    I think we should adopt Mexico’s immigration policy.
  • Kathae
    We should be suing the Mexican government for housing all their illegals in jails, for all the healthcare and other subsidies they get.
    The Mexican Government won’t even take their own back on an extradition warrant. They get better treatment here than they would at home.
    Try crossing into Mexico illegally, Hello Mexican Jail.
    What a bunch of idiots, they don’t belong in our court system, and the Arizona Law is nothing more than the same laws that are on the Federal books
    We need to have a a new bill passed “The Equal Rights of Illegal Immigrants” This bill should state that all illegal immigrants will be treated equal to the illegal immigrants in the home county of that immigrant. In other words an illegal immigrant will be treated in the US will be treated the same as Mexico treats illegal immigrants.
    Then let Mexico sue AZ for 1070, wich is much more liberal than Mexico’s laws. It the trial Mexico’s laws should become the main topic, as they have no right to sue under rights violations.
    What makes Mexico think they can continue to undermine the USA? This is the latest attempt by Mexico to redraw the maps. Can you imagine that all from Central And South America are crazy enough to believe this crap? Must be some of that garbage they keep putting in their pipes. Remember, this is the country which had a legitimate crack down on illegal drugs, who got greedy and legalized marijuana. Try going to Mexico and find out how they treat illegals. First time they send you back to your home country, the next time a minimum of 5 years in the Mexican Federal Prisons system.
  • Jim H.
    How come Mexico never does well in the Olympics? Answer: Any of the ones who can run, jump or swim are all over here.
  • Benito
    I hope that every American, regardless of where he lives, will stop and examine his conscience about this and other related incidents. This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. All of us ought to have the right to be treated as he would wish to be treated, as one would wish his children to be treated, but this is not the case.
    I know the proponents of this law say that the majority approves of this law, but the majority is not always right. Would women or non-whites have the vote if we listen to the majority of the day, would the non-whites have equal rights (and equal access to churches, housing, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, colleges and yes water fountains) if we listen to the majority of the day? We all know the answer, a resounding, NO!
    Today we are committed to a worldwide struggle to promote and protect the rights of all who wish to be free. In a time of domestic crisis men of good will and generosity should be able to unite regardless of party or politics and do what is right, not what is just popular with the majority. Some men comprehend discrimination by never have experiencing it in their lives, but the majority will only understand after it happens to them.
    • chuck b
      benito
      you say we are committed to a world wide struggle for freedom! the problem is people that are invading our borders from all over the world are wishing to bring their culture with them and establish it in this country. your idea of freedom probably differs from mine. this country was not established by people from many nations, they were protestant caucasian and mostly english, german and french. they wrote the constitution and bill of rights to form this country.
      then the world rushed in from all over the globe and for the most part accepted the way of life here. now we have an intrusion of people from all over the world, mostly from mexico who want to establish their culture here and have little respect for the standing tradition, laws or the allegiance to our country. we have a president who is more than willing to grant them their right to do so for the vote he will receive. we have no choice but to deny them citizenship and send them back to where they came from. ( throw in some of the democrats) if they truly want to emigrate, let them do it correctly and have the ability to support themselves while becoming americans.
      to benito,ive read what you posted,in this noble country,many people have come here legally,but now from what youve posted,its singaling out the mexican people,look at the thruth,when anyone comes here to the u.s.a.,paperwork is needed to make sure they are not drug pushers,killers,murders,ect.and that is for public safety of every legal citizen in this nation,and for the hard cold thruth,it is even worst in old mexico my best friend was sent to prison for 4 months,without trial,for working with an expired work permit,his fine was $5000.DOLLARS AND HE WAS DEPORTED FROM MEXICO,AND THE HOME HE WAS BUYING WENT TO HIS MEXICAN PARTNER,FOR IN MEXICO,AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN,HE WAS ALLOWED TO OWN ONLY 49% PERCENT OF THE BUSSINESS AND HIS HOME.SO CAN YOU TELL ME BENITO,WHERE THE ONE SIDED HORSE SWAP GOING? UP WITH MEXICAN RIGHTS,AND SCREW THE LAWS HERE? IT NEVER FAILS THE MORE WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE GIVE,THE MORE WE GET BAD MOUTHED,AND IN THIS NATION YOU CAN BUY A HOME,WITHOUT HAVING AN AMERICAN PARTNER THAT CONTROLS THE OTHER 51%PER CENT OF YOUR HOLDING,IF YOU THINK IT IS UNFAIR PLEASE GO TO ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.NO LEGAL ENTRY PAPERS,OH BOY THROW AWAY THE KEYS,HARD LABOR AND A LOT OF YEARS TO THINK OUT IT,WORKING OF COURSE FOR JUST YOUR FOOD.BUT THATS LIFE EVERYWHERE,BENITO BEST WISHES IF YOUR LEGAL,IF NOT WELL WHEN IN ROME DO AS THE ROMANS DO,WHEN IN A COUNTRY ILLEGALLY YOU GET WHAT YOU GET NO SPEICAL TREATMENT,JUST THE LAW,NO MORE NO LESS.
Much to long and were getting tired of it.
    Benito, The Arizona law doesn’t say people can’t immigrate to the United States. It just says you can’t be here ILLEGALLY. It Isn’t about discrimination or race. I was born here and I can’t break the law either. What part of ILLEGAL don’t you understand?
  • Bud in San Antone
    Lastly, I have a suggestion. I suggest that we continue to build the fence along the border. You remember, the one that won’t stop a stray dog. Like I said, we continue to build the fence nice and high (it’s OK they use ladders anyway)just like always. As we build the big fence we drop bach fifty yards to the U.S. side and build another consisting of cheap steel posts and only two strands of barbwire. The area between the two fences becomes a free fire zone. Go ahead and climb the fence we don’t care. This setup works between North and South Korea and in every maximum securit prison in the country.
  • jopa
    Rupert Murdoch and mayor Bloomberg were on Foxnews last week touting how important the illegals were to our economy and want to grant full amnesty for those in the country.What happens three years from now when another two million cross over more amnesty. It will never end.
  • Stephen Russell
    I urge these:
    Adopt Mexico style immigration laws.
    Deny Mexicans entry under those SAME LAWS.
    OR deny Tourism to Mexico, then see them scream.
    NO Tourisim=No Pesos=NO $$$$$$$.
    GOT IT.
    & then counter sue Mexico for these:
    1. Not providing rights to citizens
    2. punitive laws
    3. corrupt Govt
    4. extended Red Tape
    5. favors, bias.
    6. “games”.
    7. maiming & hurting Americans.
    Then see Mexico really scream & have suit filed by TEA Party advocate legal Team to boot.
    Id base counter suit on those whove exprienced Mexican jails etyc.
    & from legalized citizens to the US alone for filing to make Legal.
    Fox News would have a Field day on this as would Gov Brewer of AZ.
    MAKE PUBLIC MEXICAN LEGAL ATROCITIES to US citizens IE non criminal types & MEXICAN IMMIGRATION LAWS, codes.
  • chuck b
    the fastest way to cure the border problem is to vote out most of the democrats in congress and the rino republicans, impeach the president for impersonating a president. make the new congressional candidates swear they will put an immediate stop to the invasion. that’s the only way!! the potential vote from the illegals is too much for the democrats to give up, it means staying in power or not.
  • jshuford
    I find it odd that a sizable portion of another country’s population lives within our borders. I find it even more remarkable that people find our actions reprehensible because the citizens here want some kind of accountability from these foreigners. The United States has gone to great lengths to accommodate these foreigners into our society so much that even without proper identification or proof of citizenry these foreigners have complete and unbridled access to every social program in the United States. The people and Government of the United States have gone so far to accommodate these foreigners that we are required to have every document produced here in their native tongue.
    I am for an Amnesty program that would close our open borders to the south and and at the same time I think that ALL foreigners need to register and pay into our tax programs that pay for their way of life!
    The American and Arizona governments should agree to reciprocity with
    discriminatory,etc.
    • Jana
      Rick,
      They are running from Mexico becasue of all of the criminal activity by the cartels. They just about run that country now. So now they are running over here, but the big problem is the evil cartels are coming with them and bringing their corruption here. This has got to be stopped!
  • James
    Basically, what Americans want is for our immigration laws to be enforced, which no president has done. Mexican President Felipe Calderon denounces the Arizona law as “racial discrimination” and a “violation of human rights” (Washington Times, May 3, 2010.)
    A Mexican law enacted in April 2000, mandates that their local and municipal police cooperate with Mexican government authorities. Also, under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be sentenced to six-year terms, and Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals. (Same source.)
    Let’s see, we were “gifted with an HC bill that we didn’t ask for, and a stimulus bill that we didn’t want either…and all of the above want…more money…in the form of Cap and Trade. Also look at the policy in AZ – the best thing that O can promise is that he SUPPORTS…illegals?! Now he has decided that rather than providing National Guard troops to secure the border and protect law abiding citizens…well, it seems that whatever we ask for he does the exact OPPOSITE! If you read the book correctly, it is…stranger than fiction. He calls himself progressive;no more like 500 years backwards…!
    Who the hell are you – Pres. of Mexico that thinks you can dictate our laws? Stay in Mexico an tend to your brood there. We know you are behind the influx of the illegals coming over here and the drug cartel too because you are trying to clean your country of them. Just because we happen to have a Pres. that do not care about us,we still have states that go by the rules – one is to keep this illegals out of the country. Is not a matter of race like Obama wants us to believe, this is his way from the start to get his way or else, like a dictator that he is! “STAY AWAY FROM OUR BUSINESS” Mexican Pres.!!! “ARIZONA” GO,GO,GO – We support you and the states that are with you !!! Again, is not about race or all the mexicans – is about illegals and the drug cartel. “GOD BLESS AMERICA”
Does this Mexican president realize we cannot continue to foot the bill for every person who wants too come here and take advantage of our social services?Americans who were born here from 3 and 4 generations back don’t get the services these illegals get ! It is disgusting! We need to get obama out of office and get rid of all the career politicians and build this country back up. If we don’t start now the America of the past will be gone forever! I sure will not go down without a fight..no matter what it takes.I am a very hard working small business owner as all my family before me .If my great grandpa was alive today he would cry seeing what has happened and is happening to this country.No principles no morals no sacrifice no respect.People can belong to a comunist club …yes right here in America..there is “C.P.A.” Comunist Party Of America. Can you believe we stand for such a thing?You idiot Democrats…. And ESPN yes ESPN backs these people! How can we let this happen in America?Because the a-hole Democrats want everyone to have the right of everything wether it be totally against what we have always stood for or if it breaks us down..reality is they want to break us down and build socialism and eventually comunism..All you Damn Democrats you voted for this change!     PERSONAL LIBERTY NEWS DESK – GREAT ARTICLE!!
    To: President Calderon of Mexico -
    The Mexican government does not have standing in the United States District Court in order to declare what is constitutional in accordance with Arizona law under the Constitution of the United States. Our Arizona Immigation Law is constitutional, and its purpose is to protect all American citizens. Your concern about legal citizens of the United States, who are of Mexican descent, does not fall within the jurisdiction of the Court, because you are the President of Mexico and have no control over legal American citizens.
    Mexican citizens, who are illegally in the United States by not providing documentation, should return to your care. You, Mr. Calderon, are their President.
    As you know, all countries require passports or a form of identification. That includes Mexico, which has a much more rigid immigration law than ours. While I understand that the economy of Mexico is not that great, our economy in the United States is becoming similar to yours. Arizona has become the pathway for many countries to use as a means of entering the United States. We have documented illegals from terrorist countries. It’s time to take action.
    I think most Americans do not want the illegal immigrants here and do not want them to keep comming. However, our government is going to give them amnesty and do very little to stop the flow. Instead of us venting on sites like this, we really need to get organized and do something. THe big question is how far are you willing to go to stop the loss of your country. Do any of you really believe that voting will help? Has it ever helped? Not for a very long time. Americans continue to believe the bullshit that politicians spew from their mouths. That is precisly why we have Obama for president. I would bet that alot of the people who say they are on our side will do a Charlie Crist once they get elected. You simply cannot trust any of them. If you really want your country back, then you know what must be done, and you must do it. There is not much time left to organize every group into one and for the same cause. How many people have died and are dieing for what we believe in.Do we want their deaths to all be for nothing? Voting will bring you “same shit different day” scenario. Nothing ever changes.
  • glenn
    Who wouldn’t think Mexico wouldn’t sue Arizona. Everyone knows that illegals are breaking the law there is no question about that. The big reason for Mexico to protest so much is that billions of dollars are sent back to Mexico from illegals that work in this country. That’s why they encourage workers to illegally migrate to the US. We cannot give amnesty to illegals for what votes? Just think yes they may be hard workers but if you pay an illegal under the table for 10 dollars an hour now as a citizen you pay them 20 dollars. Many businesses would go out. Also now they would get free healthcare which would burden the whole industry due to the ridiculous bill that just passed.
  • AJGS
    I wonder what President Calderon would think if the situation were reversed and Mexico was getting the criminals coming from America. What then would he do? I think those people who are against the immigration law in Arizona don’t really understand it or they dont’ want to understand it. They have their views and aren’t willing to change for the good. We are not discriminating, we are just trying to protect our own including our legal immigrants.
    WELL AMERICA, ITS TIME TO PUT UP OR SHUT UP.DOES KING OBAMA GET WHAT HE WANTS?OR DO WE GIVE HIM WHAT HE DESERVES?WHAT HE WANTS IS 20 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS(80%from Mexico)TO RECEIVE AMNESTY.A FREEDOM THAT WAS OBTAINED BY THE BLOOD,SWEAT,AND TEARS OF OUR ANCESTORS(also immigrants.)HOWEVER,OUR ANCESTORS,WERE EUROPEAN,ASIAN,SOUTH AMERICAN AND MANY OTHER COUNTRIES THAT ENCOURAGED THEIR CITIZENS TO START A NEW LIFE IN A COUNTRY THAT THEY THOUGHT WOULD OFFER THEM A CHANCE.
    WITH MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO.THESE ANCESTORS,ENTERED OUR COUNTRY LEGALLY.THEY WERE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN OUR COUNTRY AS THEIR ADOPTED ONE AND THUS BECAME CITIZENS.THIS WAS DONE OVER A PERIOD OF YEARS.THEY ARE THE REAL AMERICANS,THEY STRUGGLED,THEY OVERCAME.OVER 230 YEARS OF AMERICANS STORIES TO BE TOLD.THEN COMES THE UNDERCURRENT OF POLITICAL
    GREED.IT GETS STRONGER AS IT GROWS,AND BEFORE LONG WE HAVE OUR CURRENT DILEMMA.HOW CAN WE BENEFIT FROM PEOPLES STRUGGLES?OUR SAVIOR IN WASHINGTON SAYS, WE OFFER THEM AN EASY WAY TO THEIR DREAM,WE GIVE THEM AMNESTY.WE HAVE OFFERED MORE PEOPLE,FROM MANY PLACES THEIR FREEDOM.THIS FREEDOM IS NOW BEING UNDERMINED BY THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.
    OBAMA,SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CIRCUMVENT OUR LAWS.WE ARE A NATION OF LAWS AND WE MUST ABIDE BY LAWS THAT WERE IN PLACE BEFORE OBAMA CAME ON THE SCENE,AND IS ATTEMPTING TO BREAK THOSE LAWS,AND HE MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO SO.WE,ARE ALL CULPABLE IN ALLOWING THIS TRAVESTY.WE IGNORED THIS BORDER CROSSING BECAUSE IT SERVED A PURPOSE.NOW,WE FIND OURSELVES CONDEMMNING THEM BECAUSE IT GOT OUT OF HAND,AND THE ALIENS HAVE BECOME EMBOLDENED BY OUR FAILURE TO SECURE OUR BORDERS.WELL,NOW CALDERON CAN PRETEND TO BACK HIS CITIZENS WHILE INFLUENCING AMERICAN POLICY.FOR ME,ITS AN EASY CALL.AMERICA MUST SECURE ITS BORDERS.TODAY!!
  • http://google sylvia
    Of course the Mexican officials are threatening our laws. They are overwhelmed with the Drug related violence, shootings,kidnappings and other crimes. Some of the officials and uniformed officers perpetrate the crime. So why not get rid or dump the criminals in our country. I am so grateful to GOVERNOR BREWER wanting to protect it’s CITIZEN’S. She WALKS THE TALK. We need more leaders like her. If all of our borders are not controlled than we too; like what is happening in Mexico will be more overwhelmed than what is taking place right now here. Oklahoma narcotics officers just made a bust of the Sinaloa Cartel wanting to move into the state and than spread their cancer to Las Vegas and other cities in the U.S. There already is the Jaurez Cartel. We have enough criminals already in our Country that abuse the freedom that was given to them and do not need criminals from Mexico or other countries invading this WONDERFUL COUNTRY. If the borders were controlled like they should have been years ago and the citizens coming into this country were made to do it legally than they would not have to be afraid as the article reads. What B.S. We already have citizens who were born in this country who cannot find a job. So if this country becomes over populated like some other countries what will happen to us? I can’t help but see our STAUE OF LIBERTY BURIED IN THE IN THE GROUND LIKE IN THE MOVIE PLANET OF THE APES. When I saw the documentary movie WHICH WAY HOME about Mexican children wanting to come to America I remember one boy stating he wanted to give his mother a better life. She already had other children and another one on the way? No child should have to grow up this way but we have throw away children born right here in our very own country. Protect our borders so we can take care of our own of many races. Americans do a lot for foreign aid. MEXICO HAS ALLOWED THE CORRUPTION TO GO ON FOR SO LONG AND NOW IT IS AN EVIL CANCER THAT IS SPREADING INTO THE U.S.A. If our Borders are not controlled this cancer will be terminal. GOD BLESS YOU GOVERNOR BREWER AND TO THOSE THAT LOVE THIS COUNTRY, IT’S CHILDREN OF THE FUTURE AND IT’S PEOPLE OF ALL RACE.
    Vote NO for Judge Carey Hyatt
    We are the people… do not be a rubber-stamped!!!
    PROTECT OUR 1st Amendment and REMOVE Judge Carey HYATT
    from office, November 2nd 2010 Arizona Election
    “For too long the Commission has rubber stamped almost all judges for reelection, which isn’t helpful for most voters…” AZ Judges Review http://azjudgesreview.blogspot.com/
    IN THE COURT OF APPEALS STATE OF ARIZONA DIVISION ONE 08/12/2010 (Regarding Judge Hyatt ruling)
    “Because the order preemptively forbade speech concerning a public proceeding, it constituted a classic prior restraint on speech. See, e.g., Alexander v. United States, 509 U.S. 544, 550 (1993). “[P]rior restraints on speech and publication are the most serious and the least tolerable infringement on First Amendment rights,” Nebraska Press Ass’n v. Stuart, 427 U.S. 539, 559 (1976), and there is a heavy presumption against the constitutional validity of a prior restraint. New York Times Co. v. United States, 403 U.S. 713, 714 (1971) (per curiam)…. But by ordering that any speech concerning the legal proceedings would result in monetary sanctions, the court’s order amounted to an unconstitutional prior restraint. Accordingly, we vacate the order”
    Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct (Regarding Judge Hyatt discriminatory Court behavior)
    “This
conduct is unacceptable even though the judge was
 apologetic about her conduct. The commission also
 considered that it had previously given the judge a
private comment regarding her temper. Accordingly,
the judge is hereby reprimanded for her conduct
 pursuant to Rule 17(a), and the record in this case,
consisting of the complaint, the judges response
and this order, shall be made public as required by
Rule 9(a). Dated: March 20, 2009. FOR THE
COMMISSION s Louis Frank Dominguez
    Hon. Louis Frank Dominguez
Commission Vice Chair Copies of this order were
mailed to the complainant and the judge on March
20, 2009.”
    The above are only two examples of her uncontrolled behavior in the Court. The list is quite large. Take a stand now and prove to the committee that the people of Arizona are not ignorant and will not tolerate such treatment by our elected officials. Please forward to any one on your email list Republican and Democrats blacks and whites. The constitution is colorblind and applies to all equally.
