Massive Storm Possible On East Coast

Massive Storm Possible On East Coast

Preppers in the Northeast should prepare for some harrowing weather next week as what is being dubbed as a “perfect storm” is predicted by forecasters and could affect people from North Carolina to Nova Scotia.

“It is likely that significant impacts will be felt over portions of the U.S. East Coast through the weekend and into early next week,” the National Hurricane Center said.

On Thursday, Hurricane Sandy battered Cuba before taking a turn that could lead it right up the East Coast. The hurricane could track north just in time not only to cause heavy rains but also to meet a cold weather front, which would make for a potential Hurricane/winter weather hybrid event that could cause up to $1 billion in damage, forecasters say.

Some meteorologists are predicting a mix of steady gale-force winds, heavy rain, flooding and possible snow starting Sunday and continuing past Halloween on Wednesday for people in the eastern part of the United States.

“It’s going to be a high-impact event,” said Bob Oravec, a lead forecaster with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Hydro-Meteorological Prediction Center in College Park, Md.

“It has the potential to be a very significant storm with respect to coastal flooding, depending on exactly where it comes in. Power outages are definitely a big threat,” he said.

Officials say that if the storm makes landfall as expected on the Northeastern coast, it has the potential to grow into a storm that will “go down in history books.”

Why do all your sidebar commercials have the word “wierd’ in them?

Watch for the strange aircraft flying into and out of the storm, or maybe HARRP energy beams guiding the storm. These should be detectable to the right people and gear.

Let us know, if it happens, weather control is real, you can read the patents, military reports and scientific data on the subject.

You know, pretty soon we won’t be “allowed” to use the term Nor’easter.

Apparently, the term is offensive to non-Christians (especially the atheist and islamic crowds), because it includes the word “Easter” and reminds them of that Christian religious observance. ;-)

        Most call it “Resurection Day”

  • Motov

We might get lucky and the Liberals will go out into the storm to protest “NorEasters”,…LMAO

Hope ALL the forecasters are wrong, and that tropical storm blows out before it gets that far north, but don’t see it happening. The people I really worry about in a storm like this are the fishermen and other small craft operators who can’t or don’t make it back to port in time to avoid the worst of it.

This might be another chance for the current White House Messiah to anticipate what might happen and be in a position to ‘hit the ground running’ and compensate for the disaster he caused in the last New Orleans mess. That is, you know something is coming, prez – or are you still staying away from the White House so you can act like you care?
It might be bad, and it might be worse. Got any genius czars with ideas as to how to make you look good? You realize, I hope, that if you’d have brought back about half of the National Guard from places where we DON’T belong (roughly 120 different countries), you’d have had lots of potential help before anything happened.
Isn’t it kinda hard playing several games at the same time and being more concerned about your campaign than acting like a LEADER? We’ll see what happens, Messiah. It’s not like you didn’t have a chance to be prepared BEFORE something bad happened. Then again, utopians and assorted paranoids don’t need to concern themselves with mere mortals, do they? Not unless they cost you VOTES, that is.

This hurricane could make Hurricane Irene look tame by comparison.

Hind sight is always 20/20 huh? Another case of people being given warnings a week in advance and they did nothing. So sad !
