Man Gets Through Philadelphia Airport Security With Wrong Pass
PHILADELPHIA (UPI) — A Chicago man says an American Airlines worker in Philadelphia gave his boarding pass to another passenger who then made it through airport security.
Brad Gertz attempted to check in at the Philadelphia airport, only to be told someone else had his boarding pass.
“God forbid this guy did something stupid. My name, my identity is attached,” Gertz told WBBM-TV.
American Airlines said the man was mistakenly given Gertz’s ticket and made it through security, but was stopped before boarding the plane.
Transportation Security Administration officials did not respond to calls on the incident, the broadcaster said.
The airline said it offered Gertz a $300 voucher.
