Lying Newt

Lying Newt

Apparently, Newt Gingrich never learned the Mark Twain adage: “If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.”

Fresh off his win in South Carolina — in which the State’s Republican voters expressed their preference for a guy who can play a crowd with a planned, made-for-TV sound bite over a person of substance — Gingrich went into full Gingrich mode and started talking off the top of his head again. It always gets him in trouble.

This time, he just flat out lied.

Trying to reinforce his conservative bona fides, Gingrich intimated he was a Barry Goldwater/Ronald Reagan conservative. “I went to a Goldwater organizing session in 1964. I met with Ronald Reagan for the first time in 1974. I worked with Jack Kemp, and Art Laffer and others to develop supply side economics in the late ’70s. I helped Governor Reagan become President Reagan. I helped pass the Reagan economic program and worked with the National Security Council on issues including the collapse of the Soviet Empire,” he told NBC News’ Brian Williams during the GOP debate in Tampa Monday night.

Gingrich is trying hard to “prove” he’s a conservative. It would be a difficult slog if people paid attention to reality and substance rather than fluff and propaganda. Unfortunately, most Republican voters are treating the nomination process like another episode of “American Idol” or “Dancing With the Stars.”

Gingrich has supported cap and trade, individual mandates, bailouts, TARP and gun control. He believes the USA Patriot Act is good legislation. He said he would have voted for the recently passed, Constitution-killing National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the government to arrest and detain Americans on U.S. soil and hold them indefinitely without charges or trial.

On numerous occasions, Gingrich has called Franklin Delano Roosevelt his favorite President of the 20th Century, and has said FDR was the greatest President. This is the same FDR whose New Deal policies both deepened and prolonged the Great Depression, who confiscated private property (including individually owned gold), redistributed wealth, raised taxes on businesses to more than 90 percent, conducted illegal wiretaps, tried to shut down opposition newspapers, used government make-work programs to finance and work for his campaigns, illegally interned 110,000 Japanese Americans, gave special benefits to labor unions, destroyed food while Americans starved, let Communists infiltrate his Administration and made a deal with Joseph Stalin that left millions of Eastern Europeans to suffer and die under Communism.

A Goldwater/Reagan Republican? Hardly. Gingrich is a leftist, progressive, neocon Rockefeller Republican (by his own admission; see  here and here). If elected, he will govern as such.

I hope a lot of Newt-bots read this and use their brains a little more.

    • Robert Smith

I’ve been a Goldwater Republican since he ran in teh 1960′s.

BTW, Goldwater was pro-choice and didn’t care about gays in the military among many other common sense things.

I suggest that the neocons look at “Goldwater on Goldwater,” an HBO special of some years ago.

It’s amazing just how today’s neocons are so different from that great man.

As far as Reagan goes he was a puppit. His mind was gone long before it was announced.

Goldwater had the right ideas, but unless you’re elected, you can’t get anything done. As much as I feel Newt is patronizing, people tend to only choose people who act with certainty, not honesty.

        • Sol of Texas

          CJ –

I guess we DO get the government we deserve.

        • Buddy

          A very good point CJ.

      • Jonathan Lucas

So you don’t care about protecting life. Ron Paul does, he’s pro-life. Hitler was pro-choice, too. He believed in aborting others. And, same-gendered individuals have every right to marry and serve openly in the military, but their lifestyle and the lifestyle of those who sleep before marriage together are living the immoral life.

    • Tony N

OK pick MITT because he has NEVER Changed his mind on anything right ??

      • Mary

Both M & N are degenerated bastard. They are lying left and right. That’s what the brainless masses like. The media has done a great job a lot people in Fla doesn’t know about Ron Paul. Our future less jobs less freedom in few words more misery.

        • Michael

According to the lies told by the current occupant of the White House, both these candidates will make grand presidents.

          • eddie47d

Both would make “great” mediocre Presidents at best. When I was watching the Monday night debates I looked at Newt as Humpty Dumpty, full of cracks BEFORE he falls. If elected the Yolk would be on the American people. I also had a vison of Mitt Romney for he looked exactly like Billy Graham, then I came to my senses. I must have been hallucinating for he is really more like Judas.

          • Jerry

            Only for the good.

          • JUKEBOX

Obama would not make a decent scab on either man’s behind.

          • Mark in LA

Jukebox, regardless of how bad Obama is, he mops the floor up with these two turds Romney and Gingrich. Joe sixpack will never identify with a guy who pays a lower tax rate than him who is quite arrogant about how he got his money and who’s tactics in getting it are only applauded on Wall Street. As for Gingrich, no dissatisfied Democrat will vote for him. If he thinks pandering to illegal aliens is going to get enough votes to make up for the lost white working class then he is as delusional as Bush and McCain. He is also one of the architechs of the Republican war on the middle class. The hatred of Obama can only be tapped by a candidate who isn’t the same thing with a white face.

        • DonnieB

One point to consider: Of all the presidential hopefulls that are in Congress now, not one of them has had the stomach to call out the current President for his unconstitutional acts. The latest being the recess appointment of another Czar. Tell me, why should we believe any of them when they say they will stand up to Obama?

Yes, I will vote for the GOP nominee but I certainly will have to hold my nose to do it. Even when they have the law on their side, the wimps in the GOP won’t stand up for what is right. This makes me very nervious.

      • NC

Tony, every time Mitts eyes blink his brain re-sets.He says whatever they need to hear!

    • moonbeam

Yes, Carolyn, but that depends on where their brains are – on top of their necks or down in their pants inside of a deep dark abyss.

    • Capitalist at Birth

Bob Livingston and most of the people here have a hidden agenda. These charges are all lies and a weak attempt to paint Newt Gingrich in a bad light. If you want the truth go to newt.org. Otherwise live in your Ron Paul fantasy land.

      • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

        Dear Capitalist at Birth,

Please point out for me any lies in the article. I will gladly correct any inaccuracies.

        Best wishes,
        Bob

      • Dorthy

You got that right. I am 72 years old and voted all my life as soon as I was of age. I did change parties a few times.I am just appaled at what people can do and say to get there party voted in. You talk about lies. This stuf makes you sick. My aunt was 90 years old and would tell about our History of presdents and ther great achevements.
I do not want to be a part of this noncence anymore. The truth is so wrong. If you listen to what is said Newt steped down 2 years before the scandel. The DEM. ACUSED HIM OF ETHICS VIOLATION. It was taken to a higher court. In the end they found no wrong doing. Newt was exonarated of all wrong doing. He paid 300,ooo.for the envestagtion.

        • r.p.

That’s definetely a new “spin” Dorthy. Where did you get this information? Or did you just make it up?

          • Dorthy

I heard it on Fox news.Bret Bair [not sure of the spelling]the last 15 min. he has a panel of 3 columnist at the end of his show. Dr. Charles Krauthammer a very smart man. He was ask about this because of Mitt telling it his way. He said Newt stepped down 2 years before the scandel. Newt stepped down because there was the election and more Dem. got voted in office so Rep.were out numbered and he would have been voted out anyway. The scandel was an accused ethic violation by the Dem. It went to a higher court and they found no evedence that he did anything wrong. He paid 300,00 court fees.

          • r.p.

That explains it all::: “I heard it on Faux News.”

          • ismellarat

RP what Dorothy is saying is a matter of record. Everyone can access this information. but I must warn you it may cause you to start crying & cussing because you know liberals can not stand the truth.that is why they stay tuned into ABC, NBC, CBS and other liberal news stations.

        • JUKEBOX

The pit yorkie, David Bonnier, was the one who filed all of the ethics complaints against Newt, and it became cost prohibitive for him to continue in the Speaker position. He had to pay all of his defense costs out of his own pocket, not out of the Government treasury.

          • Dorthy

Where did you get your information. Newt told the story also just like I heard it.

          • Rick Johnson

Newt stepped down from the speaker position ONLY because the GOP has a bylaw that says any leader under investigation has to step down from their leadership role. Doesn’t matter if they are valid charges or not. The Dems do not have such a policy and refuse to implement that policy.

          • Average Joe

            Dorthy,
Of course Newt wouldn’t fabricate a little white lie to make himself look better…would he?
Maybe, in the future…instead of relying on the MSM to get your facts…you might try looking online for material to verify that what you’ve been told…is in fact…the truth (that doesn’t mean watch it on FOX and then go to the FOX site to verify..oh wait, you’ll listen to Newt say it and check it out on Newt.Commie…right?). A bit of due dilligence on your behalf will go a long way towards enlightening you to the realities of the world around you.

THE MARIANNE GINGRICH ACCUSATION THAT NEWT GINGRICH HAD ASKED HER FOR “AN OPEN MARRIAGE “– WAS PREFACED BY ABC, THE SLAM’S PERPETRATORS, THEMSELVES, THUS:

“… A STATEMENT FROM ANY DIVORCEE {REGARDING THE FORMER MATE}, MUST BE TAKEN WITH A GRAIN OF SALT…”

THIS ABC CAVEAT WAS, STRATEGICALLY, IGNORED BY CNN AND THE LIBERAL PRESS. THE DESIGNED SHOCK AND INJURY OF A LEFTIST “GOTCHA” DARE NOT BE ENFEEBLED BY MERE FACT.

CNN’S JOHN KING, IN OMITTING THE ABC, “GRAIN OF SALT” DISCLAIMER, DEMONSTRATING CRIMINAL BIAS  AGAINST GINGRICH— AND, TREATED THE UNCORROBORATED ATTACK AS  UTTERANCES FROM GOD, HIMSELF– DESERVING OF THE  PRIMARY SPOTLIGHTED– NUMBER–ONE ISSUE– OF THE FINAL, SC STATE PRIMARY DEBATE.

AND,  AS IF THIS  SICKENING DISPLAY WAS  NOT ENOUGH TO THOROUGHLY (AND ACCURATELY) DEBAUCH  THE IMAGE OF THE LEFTIST AMERICAN MEDIA – -   DAYS FOLLOWING, FOX NEWS CONSERVATIVE COMMENTATORS,   SHEPHERD SMITH  AND NEAL CAVUTO, INCREDIBLY– IN RED-FACED, TORRID TERMS – BOTH AGREED WITH AND DEFENDED CNN’S ASSAULT ON GINGRICH AND REBUFFED GINGRICH’S STANDING-OVATION REPLY— RESULTING IN THE ADDED AND SIMULTANEOUS CONDEMNATION OF– AND INSULT TO– THE CONFIRMING APPLAUSE BY CITIZENS OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

THESE TAWDRY EVENTS FOLLOWED SHEPHERD SMITH’S RECOIL FROM FOX NEWS’ HONEST JOURNALISM, ONLY DAYS BEFORE, PROVIDING JUAN WILLIAMS A FREE SOAPBOX AND AMPLE TIME TO DELIVER TO THE FOX WORLD,  A  WILD-EYED RANT– INSISTING, AGAIN, THAT GINGRICH’S POSITION ON “FOOD STAMPS” WAS PURE RACISM. SMITH, ALL THE WHILE, NODDED IN AGREEMENT— TRANSPARENT, DEVIANT BEHAVIOR– SIMPLY ASTOUNDING TO ANY FOX- REGULAR, KNOWLEDGEABLE AMERICAN. I AM 7O YEARS OF AGE– I HAVE NEVER OBSERVED, ON ANY NEWS MEDIA VENUE, RANCOROUS BIAS AND OUTRAGEOUS POVERTY OF BALANCE COMPARABLE TO THIS SMITH OUTRAGE. NEVER!

THE “OUT FRONT” PROGRAM (CNN’S LIBERAL ERIN BURNETT, IN HER GINGRICH INTERVIEW, FRIDAY EVENING) REVEALED A WOMAN OF ABUNDANT FAIR AND BALANCED COVERAGE –IN  CONTRAST TO THE CONSERVATIVE, MEGYN KELLY, WHOSE BEAUTIFUL FLUSHED SMILE FADED TO COLD ALABASTER STONE, WHENEVER GINGRICH RECEIVED A PASSING COMPLEMENT FROM ONE OF HIS VERY FEW SUPPORTERS ALLOWED TO CHAT–DURING FRIDAY‘S DIMINISHING HOURS PRECEDING THE ELECTION.

I HAD VIDEOED ALMOST ALL OF THE FOX PROGRAMMING THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AM. ONE THING IS CERTAIN: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BILL O’REILLY,  SEAN HANNITY,   GRETA VAN SUSTEREN AND FOUR OF “THE FIVE” -(LATE AFTERNOON FOX PROGRAM)– — THE “FAIR AND BALANCED” FOX NEWS PLATITUDE WAS NOWHERE ACCESSIBLE TO GINGRICH, FROM THE DOMINANT DIRECTORS, AIDED BY THEIR HANDPICKED ANTI-GINGRICH GUESTS, THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAMMING LEADING UP TO SATURDAY’S ELECTION.

THE ELDER-SAGE, FOX ILLUMINATI, KARL ROVE AND CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER, EXHAUSTED MOST OF THEIR SUNDAY TALK TIME, POOH-POOHING AND ATTEMPTING TO MINIMIZE THE WIDE DISPARITY BETWEEN THEIR NEGATIVE PREDICTIONS ON GINGRICH AND SATURDAY’S REALITIES.

BRIT HUMES’ VITRIOL–LADEN BLAST OF GINGRICH ON O’REILLY’S SHOW MONDAY NIGHT WENT COMPLETELY BEYOND POLITICAL ANALYSIS– RATHER, REVEALED A STRONG PERSONAL AND EXTREME DISLIKE FOR GINGRICH– SOME CLASH FROM THEIR PAST (?) . O’REILLY’S CLEAR, CALM, BUT EFFECTIVE COUNTER TO HUME’S BLAST WAS BRILLIANT AND CLASSIC O’REILLY– NEAR PERFECT IN TONE AND LOGIC.

SUPERB JOURNALIST, BRET BAIR, HIS FACE DEVOID OF THE TINIEST SMILE OR VESTIGIAL GRIN, RESPONDED TO ANOTHER DARK AND ABSURD HUME CRITICISM: “I HOPE THE SENDER’S REMEMBER THAT THE COMMENTS WERE YOURS — WHEN THE ANGRY LETTERS COME POURING IN.”

THE EMBARRASSING MISCUES OF THE ICONIC ILLUMINATI- – AS WELL AS THE DISGUSTING ACTIONS OF THOSE FOX OPERATIVES MENTIONED ABOVE – - WERE DUE TO A COMMON AND POWERFUL AGENCY:

IT IS CALLED BIAS– A POISONOUS, VIRAL EMOTION, FOREVER LETHAL TO CLEAR, RATIONAL THOUGHT.

IT WAS UNTHINKABLE THAT I WOULD EVER WITNESS ANYTHING APPROACHING THE PATENT PREJUDICE OF THOSE STARS OF THIS UNIQUE VENUE – - A NEWS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WHOSE PHENOMENAL SUCCESS AND WORLD STATUS WAS– AND IS – - PRECISELY, BECAUSE FOX HAS DEMONSTRATED, DAILY, FOR ONE AND ONE-HALF DECADES THAT FAIR AND BALANCED REPORTING CAN SAIL WITH EXCELLENCE AND TRIUMPH WHILE SURROUNDED BY STORMY, FOAMING SEAS WHILE OTHER JOURNALISTIC VESSELS ARE SINKING FROM VAST OVERLOADS OF PRETENSE AND DECEIT.

MODERN AMERICA HAS NEVER FACED THE LOOMING INTERNAL THREAT OF TODAY. MORE THAN ANY OTHER SINGLE FACTOR– –OUR DECEITFUL LIBERAL MEDIA HAS PUT THAT THREAT IN WASHINGTON. NEWT HAS HAD THE GUTS TO SAY SO– AND NEWT CAN TAKE HIM OUT.

THE NUMBER OF LIES AND DISTORTIONS, IN THE GUTTER, ON THIS SUBJECT ARE BEYOND COUNT.

NOT SINCE BARRY GOLDWATER (48-YEARS AGO) WAS ACCUSED BY CBS NEWS OF BEING PART OF A BERLIN NEO-NAZI POLITICAL GANG (AS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE EXAMPLE)– HAS THE CRIMINAL MEDIA BEEN BEEN SO FANATICALLY BUSY SLANDERING A CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE.

An agenda? Lol, yeah, I guess we do. I’ll give you 10 guesses what that agenda is ;)

Newt voted for the Patriot Act. That’s all I need to know.

        • USA all the way

Wasn’t the Patriot Act passed after 9-11? What office did Newt hold at that time that allowed him to VOTE on ANYTHING ?????

USA– YOU ARE CORRECT– NEWT WAS OUT OF CONGRESS FOUR YEARS AT VOTING TIME–***HE DID NOT ASK FOR THE ACTS STRENGTHENING***, HE WAS 8 YEARS OUT OF CONGRESS AT THE ALLEGED TIME.

THE RUMORS AND STUPID FABRICATIONS ARE ENDLESS–DEMO PROPAGANDA SPREAD BY THE LEFTIST PRESS.

WRITE THIS DOWN: OBAMA IS PETRIFIED WITH THE THOUGHT OF FACING NEWT GINGRICH– FOR EVERY LIE TOLD ABOUT ROMNEY–4 OR MORE ARE ON THE STREET ABOUT GINGRICH.

PANTY-WAIST MICK WILL MELT LIKE MAY SNOW IN ATLANTA WITH DOCTOR DECEIT. OBAMA KNOWS THIS.

Not only that, TML, Newt is all in favour of extending, and strengthening the patriot act. The man is worse then Bush!

Ron Paul is a delusional libertarian living in his own little make believe world. His policies not only would destroy our economy even worst than Obama, they would put our national security at risk. Ron Paul belongs in the 19th century from where his ideas originates. He has no place being in charge in the 21 century world we live in.

Your teacher told you to write this nonsense from what she wrote on the blackboard (greenboard).

          • MNIce

Ron Paul gets most of his ideas, which you deride as “19th Century”, from the Constitution. The Constitution was designed in the 18th Century to cope with human nature, which has not changed. The most troublesome delusional ideas from the 19th Century are Atheism and Socialism, neither of which are accepted by Ron Paul.

The reason the Constitution doesn’t work is because it is not being used as intended, if it is used at all. It was never intended to give Congress blanket authority over anything that could be labeled “General Welfare” or “possibly affecting interstate commerce”.

Ron Paul’s foreign policy seems unrealistic when expressed in half-minute sound bites, but his point that we probably have far more foreign-based troops than is really necessary is worth examining. Can we restructure our international relations so we can bring the troops home and cut a significant amount of our military expense without putting our friends and allies at unnecessary risk? Let’s ask Mr. Paul to explain how he would handle this transition.

Name-calling doesn’t persuade anyone except those who have already closed their minds against the target.

          • William

Would you please be so kind as to post the aspects of Ron Paul’s Path to Prosperity that you believe would lead to America’s destruction and give detailed explanation as to the adverse effects of each?

There can be no-doubt, that Newt belongs in a insane asylum, bunking with his pals Bush, and Obama. The only difference between the three; Bush is a mass-murderer, Obama currently holds the record, and Newt, wants to be the new champ/chimp!

Seriously, you don’t really believe you’d get the truth by going to Newt’s website, do you? We’re in a sad state of affairs if people have become this naïve and gullible. No, the truth of any of these politicians can be found in their voting records. Go to: http://thomas.loc.gov/home/thomas.php

Please, get the gumption and do the research yourself instead of relying upon someone else to do your thinking for you. Another good resource is transcripts of their past speeches.

We truly are in a sad state, and the reason why we’re in our present position, that a portion of our voting public are so naïve and gullible that they rely upon major media and what someone states about themselves as being proof of truth. IMHO, this is deliberate and intentional ignorance so that they can somehow later claim, ‘I didn’t know’ and cleanse their conscience. I hold these people directly at fault for our country’s destruction.

FWIW, I’m past a half of a century old, and have watched Newt for the last 20 years. It was plenty obvious to those of us who were not too lazy and DID do the research and watched voting records, to see Newt was a globalist with not one iota of loyalty to this country or our sovereignty close to 20 years ago. This piece of scum, Newt, is a leopard that has not changed his spots or loyalty. The only thing he changes is his act for the public. Go to the voting records, they speak the truth.

One doesn’t have to make up fantasy to see negatives wrt Newt… All they have to do, is look back at history, and take a good look at the headlines from say 12 years ago and so. Newt painted his own bad press, then tried to blame it, for his hypocracies….

The real question is if one believes he’s really a “changed man”, I for one, don’t…

    • slapjack

Mitt Romney sure needs to read this article. All Republican canidates need to attack the failed administration of Obamasoros and his libtard liberal looney tunes. You got that Newt Ron Mitt and Santorum!!!!!!! Obama is the most destructive Prez this nation has ever voted in office. He has done everything he can to destroy this country possible. Don’t continue to attack each other attack Obama. May the best person win. Anybody but Obamasoros.

        Amen, point well made

      • Tom W.

slapjack, I believe that our beloved POTUS is still most vulnerable on his actions as a community organizer on Chicago’s South Side. He was personal council for Tony Rezko, one of the Windy City’s biggest slum lords, a man who made his fortune oppressing poor minority folks! His projects were some of Chi-Town’s nastiest, run down, roach and rodent infested, non-maintained apartments in the city!!! By serving as his personal council, the Obama’s landed a sweet deal on their Chicago mansion including an adjoining lot which to my understanding was not legal for some legalese reason far over my humble little head.

      • WickedPickle

“Don’t continue to attack each other attack Obama. May the best person win. Anybody but Obamasoros”..

I can follow you with the blunt of you’re nagging slapjack, but fall short on you’re last declaration “Anybody but Obamasoros”.. Even Popeye the sailor man? You (and others) really need to reconsider.. Remember, this is politics we’re talking about.. There are others just as if not worse than the present POTUS just waiting in line for their turn at bat.. You can think with that mentality but beware, you might just get what you deserve.. Now, I’m not saying who you should vote for (as that’s you’re choice as it is mine) but I do insist that you vote intelligently and with as much knowledge of your candidate as possible.. And the only true way to determine a successful vote is to check the candidate’s past successes and failures.. In other words, vote FOR a president, not to OUST a president.

    • Tom W.

Karolyn, that means absolutely nada coming from someone who doesn’t even possess a brain!!!

Anyone that ends up being our nominee will be better than the lying man-child SOB we have in the White House today, even if it is Mitt Ronmey. Please (from a Newt-bot) don’t vote third party if our nominee is Newt Gringich, or worse yet for any enemy more destructive than Adolf Hilter, Joseph Stalin, the man more destructive to America’s constitution than a thousand islamic terrorists Barack Hussein Obama.

  • T-Texas

I have read alot of post even if Newt did lie,I thing he has fortitude to stand up to olpileofsheet better than the others. How often have we been lied to in the past three years.Who ever get the nomination I will support regardless who to the illegal out.

We’ve been lied to for decades now. It’s just worse and more blatant. They just don’t care!

How sure are you that the above editorial isn’t just a bunch of lies and distortions???

        • Dagny

All you have to do is look at his voting record. What Newt says and what he does are two different things.

          • Houdini1984

Yes, and almost every complaint I hear about Newt has to do with things he has said. How did he legislate? I mean, other than leading the charge for welfare reform, reduced deficits, and other things conservatives claim to care about.

Yes, he often speaks off the cuff and says things that many conservatives find disturbing. As a leader, however, he generally tried to lead from the conservative point of view. Given his constant admonition to always seek consensus before trying to make stark changes to policy, most of his statements can be attributed to his desire to have a conversation about controversial issues prior to proposing a firm policy. What exactly is so wrong with that approach to communicating with and educating voters?

          • JUKEBOX

How many times did Obama vote “PRESENT” in any legislative office he has held, instead of yes or no? ANSWER: Nearly every time.

          • Nuadormrac

How did he legislate? For starters he had impeachment hearings over extra-marital affairs, while having one himself. There’s an old saying for this, those who live in glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones. There’s another, pot to kettle, you’re black.

Seriously, it takes some real arrogance to place one’s self in a position to stand in legal/this case congressional proceedings over another individual; when one’s guilty of the same sort of thing, that they’re leveling the charge over another on… Doing one thing, and accusing another of the same thing is hypocracy. Having impeachment hearings, a legal procedeing, or somehow putting one’s self in a position to preside over another, for the very same activity is not only hypocritical, it’s quite frankly over the top…

Not that it means much at this time, but we met many years ago . . . at a karate match, believe it or not. I think it was one of the sadder days in my life when you resigned from the Congress.

I’m writing simply to say: Don’t you think we have heard enough of what’s wrong with the country, what’s wrong with the candidates, who is BAD. I want to know who is GOOD. Obama is leading us forceably down the road to Communism, and that’s bad. We NEED to know who will

You are neglecting to realize there’s a growing body of republicans that are refusing to vote for the ‘lessor’. You have falsely assumed that Republicans will just end up casting their vote for whoever gets picked. So, your logic, that you think voting for whoever will get the usurper out of office, is faulty. It will, in fact, work in the opposite direction.

Last election, I voted for Baldwin and I was an elected republican PCO at the time. I refused to vote for that traitorous scum that they shoved under our nose last time. I want my hands clean before God and man. Voting for the ‘lessor’ is still a vote for evil.

If the republican party leadership insist on shoving a globalist under our noses again, they know full well, it will lead to their defeat. They’re not stupid. They know exactly what they’re doing and they’re fully aware that an ever growing body of republicans on the ground will not vote for the lessor, thus, assuring their defeat.

This whole thing is comparable to a fixed horse race. The republican party leadership are deliberately shoving globalists under our nose, knowing full well it will splinter, again, the party.

I may sound hard nosed, but I hold those people, that vote like for the ‘lessor’, directly responsible for our dire condition. With the exception of, Ron Paul, the whole lot of them are globalists and have NO loyalty to this country or our sovereignty. Just as it’s been in the past, there won’t be any real ‘working’ with these globalists and people that vote for the ‘lessor of two evils’ are just fooling themselves. This is exactly the line of thought that got us into this mess in the first place.

      • DonnieB

If you wait for a candidate that hold all the same views you do, you will never have anyone to vote for. That doesn’t mean just accepting everything that comes from the media or even the candidate themselves. We will always vote for the lesser of two evils. If you don’t think so, you are fooling yourself.

I will support whichever one wins the nomination. I will hold my nose for any of them.

      • WickedPickle

You can’t blame them for their ignorance Alice, the media, even the candidates have pointed them in that direction.. I too see Ron Paul as a chance for healing of this Country.. Many say they can’t understand him, that he’s living in his own fantasy world of yore.. I say he makes perfect sense. Fact is, the only way to see his views is to forsake your desire that he’s speaking directly at you.. Speaking like the other candidates who live the fallacy that you can win votes one at a time thus making you feel warm inside because your certain that he’s speaking directly at you while Ron Paul is speaking directly at the Nation and ALL who live or at least value the constitution.. Speaking as such, many can’t understand his message because they have been conditioned to live in the ‘ME’ generation thus when the fools speak as if they were talking directly at you, just realize their actually looking through you to see the stately position they will live once they convince you that their sincerity leans toward your needs.. Obama used this gimmick (as had those before him) and in each case, the winner NEVER fulfilled either your or your neighbors dreams. Only two candidates has spoken in the words of the constitution.. DDE who became the president and Ron Paul (in waiting). Ron Paul has gone beyond the ‘user’ mold by speaking to and for the nation.

  • http://google Mike

When will the voting public wake up? The only way to judge a candidate is through his past voting record.
The saying “words are cheap” certainly applies to our candidates for President. The only candidate that will get our country back “on track” is Ron Paul. No! he isn’t such a great speaker, granted that but the guy is who he claims to be and he is a Doctor, no dummy. Everything he claims to be can be easily verified and all one has to do is to look at his voting record to determine that he’s the real deal. I personally don’t see any other choice if we are to save this great nation of ours.

    • skippy

      Thanks Mike!!! I’m with YOU

    • CJ

I’ve mentioned several times on these blogs, you can’t fix a broken system when you only have bad parts to choose from. Elections are not about choosing the right candidate, but eliminating the worst ones. As Newt mentioned in the SC debate, you’ll never get good candidates with the actions of our media.

      • eddie47d

Maybe so and the media can go into overkill but Newt stonewalled the media and it is played both ways. When asked embarrassing questions we all have a tendency to change the subject or turn it around on the other person. Newt plays it masterfully.

    • Sol of Texas

      Mike –

“Honest politician” has become an oxymoron. But I think Ron Paul is the real deal for the reasons you stated. I also think it’s true that the only way to buy Ron Paul is to purchase one of his action figures.

As for the rest of the cast of characters, I can’t hear their words “because their actions speak too loudly”.

If Romney or Gingrich or Santorum are the nominees the survival of the Republic will reduce to the choice between death by asphyxiation (Obama) or death by 10,000 cuts (any GOP except Paul). Either way, the Republic probably dies because the Insidious-Government momentum will continue.

JUKEBOX. you asked in an earlier post how many times Obama voted “Present” when it came time to vote> Your answer was “nearly very time.”
That, in itself, tells me a lot!! 1. That he was on the job “nearly every time” which is a h*ll of a lot more than a lot of politicians. and 2. that his vote was not for sale for a “yes” or “no” vote “nearly every time” which is probably a record among politicians.

          Nice try but no cigar!

Which is becoming every day, a more distinct possibility.

An Iranian freighter along the east coast at 100km seaward, from the Jersey shore, in only 12 minutes AND THREE SHOTS could take our Boston, Greater New York City, and Washington/Baltimore with Atomic weaponry (which they may have now, or will have soon) –and short range missiles– (which they DO HAVE HAVE NOW). A simultaneous “friendly” freighter off the West Coast near San Francisco could, in the same, way, destroy the entire Bay area, Seattle, and Los Angeles closing 96% of American ports, destroying the electrical power and crucial communications capacity of 50% of the U.S population–including the U.S Capitol, the Pentagon, not to mention 25- 30%, plus of the country’s population.

Carrying an Italian or Greek flag, counter reconnaissance (a miracle if sent– with the President, the Congress and the Defense department incinerated–who would know what to do, and when, and whom to blame if two Greek/Italian freighters among a thousand vessel off each coast.

I intensely studied biblical Eschatology– the Christian doctrines of “The Last Days” (beginning long before seminary, less than the age of eight 8. Just before my tenth birthday, the atomic bombs were dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima (1945) and it began to occur to me that there was now a weapon capable of destroying any country–even mine– with relative ease and with the very limited manpower of a small country.

I readily admit that with all my early (and later) studies, the prophecies of Revelation, Isaiah, Daniel and others dealing with the picture of Things Of Finality, are just too obscure to be clear to me. I believe in what is called Premillennial Eschatology (the dominant Evangelical position) but I claim no certainty beyond.

But in the minds of some sage scholars ,there is absolutely NO biblical account, implicit, or otherwise, that the land of now called America has any participation in the battle of Armageddon (The final battle between Good and Evil–biblically prophesied to take place about 80km southeast of present day Haifa, Israel. “Harmageddon: Greek from Hebrew: “the valley or plain of Gedon–Rev.16;14-16 KJV.

I bow to their judgement. But just before my 11th birthday, (1948) God fulfilled a 3,000-year old promise and rebirthed Israel. accordingly, I knew if the prophets desired to prophesy about a new land rising in 2500 years (ours) they were more than divinely endowed.

So the sage scholars recognize some participating nations beyond Israel, but all are Euro-Asian. And since childhood, I still wonder why the USA won’t be there.

Can you imagine how many virgins Iran will be given for taking us out? If the Word of God teaches anything to us it says ARMAGEDDON IS IMMINENT.

    • Penny R. Freeman

You folka might as well decide that your pick, Ron Paul, doesn’t stand a chance. Not only has the lame brained media been in full attack mode against him since he announced he was going to run, but so have the upper crust of the GOP. No matter how much he may win in primaries he’ll never get the nomination. If he or Trump split from the GOP and launch a third party that’s a sure way to hand our dictator Obama another four years to further destroy this country. No, I don’t disagree that Paul is a good guy and the type we need in office. It’s just a fact that the public has been lied to by the media and politicians for so long they’re not going to buy into what he says. Most people have been so poorly educated that they can’t even tell you what the Constitution is all about. We were made to not only read the Constituion and Bill of Rights, but to memorize and explain various parts of both in class. Hollywood has been spoon feeding the public such disgusting tv and movie programming, that it is now bigger news when some woman from a tv show gets divorced shortly after her marriage than ANYTHING that is happening in government. Does anyone even understand or care how the unelected bureaucrats such as those in the EPA are doing to this country? No most of the public doesn’t because entertainment like these reality shows and the Super Bowl are more important. Apathy and the way people are so willing to ignore the truth and be led by the media and the politicians they support, those are what is destroying this country. It’s more important to find out what your pal is doing over Facebook or be able to buy the latest electronic gizmo or watch some more of Hollywood’s garbage than to care what happens in this country. All conservatives cna do is to keep pounding out their message and try to get people to understand how they’re being used and robbed by those in the government and the state mouthpiece the media. We weren’t brought to this point by just one administration and we won’t be able to win this country back by just one.

      • eddie47d

There was an interview with folks and one question was to men. What would you give up to watch the Superbowl. 15% said that they would not go to the hospital to see their baby born if it meant giving up any part of the Superbowl. Hmmmm!

PENNY, RON PAUL MAY BE MANY THINGS– BUT HE ISN’T DUMB.

DOCTOR PAUL KNOWS HE CANNOT WIN THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION, BUT HE HAS KNOWN THAT FROM DAY ONE.

WHAT HE CAN DO IS AIR OUT HIS POLITICAL IDEAS TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, WHICH HE FEELS WILL HELP, EITHER HIMSELF, OR SOME FUTURE CANDIDATE WITH HIS LIBERTARIAN VIEWS.

MOREOVER, IF HE STAYS IN THE RACE WITH WHATEVER SUPPORT–HE’S IN A GOOD POSITION TO PARLEY HIS POLITICAL CLOUT–DEPENDING ON ITS MASS– TO ADVANTAGE WITH THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT. (YES, VIRGINIA THERE REALLY IS AN ESTABLISHMENT– IN BOTH PARTIES– THESE ARE THE REPUBS THAT INSISTED ON RICHARD NIXON AND SENATOR McCAIN) PERHAPS,HE CAN EVEN FIND COMMITMENTS TO BE APPOINTED TO MAJOR GOVERNMENTAL POSITIONS–MAYBE CABINET LEVEL.

I CANNOT VOTE FOR HIM AS PRESIDENT–THE REASONS ARE PARTIALLY POLITICAL, PARTIALLY SPIRITUAL. BUT I WOULD CERTAINLY SUPPORT HIM FOR SOME AREAS OF HIS PERCEIVED PLATFORM–SOME OF WHICH ARE NOT REALLY COMMON IN CURRENT REPUBLICAN POWER CLIQUES– AND TOTALLY ABSENT AMONG THE RANKS OF VIRTUALLY ALL DEMOCRATS.

I WOULD NOT SUPPORT HIM FOR AS HEAD, IN ANY WAY OF THE FEDERAL BANK SYSTEM–FOR I, AS HE, WOULD BE ONLY SATISFIED IF THAT VILE CRIMINAL SYSTEM WERE PADLOCKED.

HE WOULD, I THINK, BE VERY EFFECTIVE IN BRINGING THE LABOR DEPARTMENT UNDER CONSTITUTIONAL CONTROL– ESPECIALLY IF HE WOULD PUSH IT OVER AND START ALL OVER WITH A NEW ORGANIZATION UNDER COMPLETE, NON-NEGOTIABLE CONGRESS RULE.

OBAMA HAS, AMONG OTHER THINGS SHOWN US THE HORRIBLE, DANGEROUS, UNCONSTITUTIONAL MOVES AVAILABLE TO A ROGUE, RADICAL PRESIDENT THROUGH DELIBERATE, ALIEN INTENT.

CONGRESS MUST ADDRESS THIS ACUTE DANGER, JUST IN CASE OBAMA 11 APPEARS ON OUR SCENE AND OUR ALIEN LEFTEST PRESS DECIDES TO DECEIVE AND LIE HIM INTO DC ALSO.

IF THESE RANK, FOURTH ESTATE, FIFTH COLUMNISTS, HAD GRILLED OBAMA WITH 10% OF THE ENERGY EXPENDED ON THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY CANDIDATES– BARACK OBAMA WOULD STILL RESIDE IN CHICAGO.

THESE DUDES HAVE BECOME PATENT ENEMIES OF A CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICA.

A RECENT PEW POLL, FOUND 72% OF AMERICAN CITIZENS(OF ALL POLITICAL PARTIES)BELIEVE THE NATIONAL MEDIA IS BIASED IN FAVOR OF THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS–READ LEFTIST DEMOCRATS. ONLY .08% DID NOT AGREE, AND 20% “DID NOT KNOW.” THE LATTER IS A PATHETIC REALITY.

IS IT ANY WONDER THIS REPUBLIC IS NEARING ITS POLITICAL/ECONOMIC DEATHBED?

PAUL’S ECONOMIC ACUMEN PUTS HIM IN SEVERAL POSITIONS– IF HE STAYS IN THE RACE, HIS CHANCES EXPAND.

I DO PRAY THAT IF HE SHOULD CHOOSE A THIRD PARTY RUN– HE WILL RUN AGAINST OBAMA AS A NEODEMOCRAT/LIBPUBLICAN, AND ONLY ACCEPT VOTES THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO TO DOCTOR DECEIT.

ITS HIGH TIME AMERICAN PATRIOTS GOT A BREAK–IF WE LOSE THIS ONE–WHAT IS OUR FUTURE WORTH?

        • WickedPickle

“IF WE LOSE THIS ONE–WHAT IS OUR FUTURE WORTH?”..

And that’s the problem.. We’re only thinking about OUR sorry butts.. Paying little or no attention to what we do or say today will affect our children of tomorrow. We need to think beyond our needs and create a safeguard for the adults of tomorrow just as our parents and grandparents sacrificed for us. We dropped the ball because life failed to include ‘WE’ and started to exist with “ME”.. Therefore, vote as if you were voting for your children’s sake. Who? You decide.

          • http:ASATEENANDYOUNGADULT, ITHOUGHTITSHEERNONSENSETHATMYBELOVED LAND--CLASPINGTHEHANDOFGOD--COULDEVERSLIPFROMHERSINGULAR,SHININGPEDESTALOFTHEPRIME SAVIOROFOURWORLDFROMTHEAXISPOWERS--THENATIONCARRYI RAYMOND HARBIN

Wicked, If you cannot equate Our Future with Our Children and Grandchildren and their grandchildren– wait until your sober and read the comments again.

Your problem are not any concern about others, rather as many Americans today– you are uncomfortable with having to think about “unthinkable things”– “whistling past the graveyard,” a way of life for many.

“WE MUST think about ‘unthinkable things’ because when things become unthinkable, THINKING STOPS and action becomes mindless.” Senator William Fulbright

This is one of the few Democrat quotations I feel clear and powerful enough to cite. And it is exceedingly important to this country at this time.

  • wireline

They won’t Karolyn, I have been watching and reading from another group called Conservative Byte. They are apparently on the Newt bandwagon all the way. They have resorted to censoring or moderating off the website a lot of the negative comments about Newt Gingrich. It seems as long as it positive it is immediately posted, but if it isn’t then it comes back saying it is waiting for approval. Then later if I check back I find it never was allowed to post. I have never attacked anyone directly or flamed anyone there. The only thing I have done is, point out that as a nation we can and must do better than Newt Gingrich. Newt is being Newt and he does not change his spots same as the proverbial leopard. I read enough of his history that I don’t need to know anymore about him. Yes he has done a few things that were good for the country. But my point has been I want to see a return to limited government and a Constitutional Republic. Newt is not the man to do that. Newt is just like most of the congressional members both sides of the aisle, he out to see how he can line his own pockets, before he has to leave office and even after office. They all do that. If Newt keeps talking long enough maybe he will dig a hole for himself with the voters. One can only hope. He is the same guy who proclaimed that Paul Ryan’s budget bill was “extreme right wing social engineering.” I never read that bill that closely, but my take on it Paul Ryan was trying to get the budget down to help balance the federal budget. How quickly they forget the things Newt says. Newt almost seems to side with Obama as much as he does with “true” conservatives. I have never seen Newt as a “true” conservative, nor do I think he can ever be. I would like to see a true patriot one that is for a limited government and a Constitutional Republic.
As it stands right now there is only one man running that has espoused that for the whole of his public life. That man is Ron Paul, but the party establishment fears a man like Ron Paul because it stops their control. It also puts the brakes on the NWO/Globalist agenda, something else they are going to fight from both sides of the aisle.

As far as Newt goes, I think of it like this, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
Will enough American wake up and want something better for their country and for their children? I can’t answer that just yet, as long as the nomination process is still alive then I think there is hope. After that if the right choices are not made, I expect things to continue on, much as they are now with government continuing to tighten the noose around our necks, faster with democrats slower with republicans. But the tightening will continue.

          Hi Bob,

For a full rundown to some “highlights” you can go to: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/01/18/10-most-shocking-ideas-in-the-new-ron-paul-newsletters.html

Here is one example: “4. Thanks for an Article in Anti-Semitic Magazine

Though Paul has denied his involvement with these statements and theories, a thank-you letter to Mr. Amos W. Bruce for an article in The American Mercury—an anti-Semitic magazine owned by well-known Holocaust denier Willis Carto—was written by the representative himself, on congressional stationery. TNR points out that the issue of the magazine Paul praises in the letter includes articles such as “You Can’t Escape the Kosher Food Tax,” “Are You Ready for the White Man’s Doomsday,” and “Racism—Black African Style.”

If Ron Paul can’t control his own stationary and what goes out in his name he ain’t qualified to be President, IMO.

          Rob

          • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

            Dear Robert Smith,

As you know, Ron Paul has disavowed the newsletters, which he said were not written by him. As for the letter, I cannot confirm its authenticity or its context. It seems to me as if he’s responding to Amos Bruce, thanking him for sending to Paul a copy of an article from The American Mercury and copies of essays written by Bruce. Responding to a constituent who communicated to you would be the courteous thing to do. Whether this is authentic, what is its context, or whether Dr. Paul saw or knew of this when it went out will of course be up to Dr. Paul or his campaign to comment on if they so choose. I fail to see that is evidence of perceived anti-Semitism.

            Best wishes,
            Bob

          • Robert Smith

Bob posts: “I fail to see that is evidence of perceived anti-Semitism.”

OK, I expected denial even though I’ve cited the source and there a bunch more examples there.

What would you accept as evidence?

And! Even though he said he didn’t do it, there certainly is a bunch of stuff laying around. I’d say that the evidence is at least way more than the birthers have.

            Dear Robert Smith,

You ask: “What would you accept as evidence?” A person providing direct quotes or evidence. A Youtube clip. Something that he penned himself. These charges were debunked in 2008. The thank-you letter you cite certainly doesn’t do it.

            Best wishes,

          • Robert Smith

But he is qualified to be President.

BTW, you should be able to clean your own boots. They taught me that in the USN.

            Rob

          • Dennis48e

i know how to clean them and I didn’t need the USN or anyone else to teach me. I said obama wasn’t qualified to do it and if he isn’t qualified to do that he sure as he!! isn’t qualified to be president.

When are you guys finally going to grow up and stop already with the “racist” or “anti-semite” crap. This kind of crap might have seen like the thing to do in college, chanting this nonsense in the hopes of getting in some liberal girl’s pants. However now, it is just getting old and stale. Get new material already. Do you have anything of substance where Ron Paul actually did something to hurt somebody for no reason other than his race or religion?

          • Mark in LA

I clicked on the wrong Ron Smith post but it still applies.

There is absolutely NO difference between Obama, Gingrich, or Romney. If Ron Paul does not win the nomination, I will vote in the general… but only to write in Ron Paul, as my conscience would not allow me to do otherwise. For the sake of our country… THINK! These parties are so closley tied and both are taking us to ruination. There is, litterally, only ONE hope to change things… Ron Paul.

      • http:ASATEENANDYOUNGADULT, ITHOUGHTITSHEERNONSENSETHATMYBELOVED LAND--CLASPINGTHEHANDOFGOD--COULDEVERSLIPFROMHERSINGULAR,SHININGPEDESTALOFTHEPRIME SAVIOROFOURWORLDFROMTHEAXISPOWERS--THENATIONCARRYI RAYMOND HARBIN

Suzie, a write-in for Paul is a vote for Obama.

Why don’t you inquire to your conscience about that?

  • Fedup

Bob, I was quite surprised to see an ad from Newt’s PAC on one of your PLD emails a few days ago. If you are so dead-set against him, why would you take ad money from his PAC and allow an ad on your email message?

    • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

      Dear Fedup,

As a private enterprise that takes no money from the government or foundations with agendas, we sell advertising in order to pay our bills so we can bring you this information each day for free. The Gingrich campaign recognized that some of our hundreds of thousands of daily readers supported Gingrich and asked to advertise to our list. Our acceptance of money from the Gingrich campaign in no way implies an endorsement anymore than television stations or newspapers accepting money from campaigns in order to run advertisements implies endorsement. Apparently the Gingrich campaign has seen a good return on their investment as they have advertised here more than once.

      Best wishes,
      Bob

      • Buster the Anatolian

If I remember correctly Ron Paul and possibly other candidates have also run ads here.

I said the same thing about Conservative Byte and after the moderating and out right censoring going on their I told them what I really think about them and unsubscribed. Americans need to wake up and realize they have to want something better for their own children even if they don’t want it for themselves. What kind of country are we leaving them with? If we can’t or don’t return to one of a limited government and a Constitutional Republic.

I was even attacked by one poster there telling me that the Constitution was good for the time of the founders but it was time for a re-write. I answered that by telling him that welcome to being a new liberal/progressive. I informed him they want exactly the same thing. They have espoused on more than one occasion they want to see a “living, breathing” document that changes with the times. How sad I think they actually believe something like that. Who is telling them or making them believe this way? The Constitution represents a nation of law and not of men, something that not enough know or understand. This country’s roots and traditions are steadily being trashed for something much worse. As I look around the country at the broken homes and single moms raising children by themselves And now even something called same sex marriage where two men are allowed to adopt and raise children in their own image. Same as two women living together will do. I really feel for this country the road we are currently on is a real downer. In all my life I never heard of a marriage being anything other than a man and a woman and still believe that. History tells us it has been that way, until now.

You don’t think that some of the amendments need to be changed or clarified?

        • Average Joe

          Capitalist at Birth,

Absolutely…starting with the 14th Amendment, 16th Amendment, the 17th Amendment and the 21st Amendments….the rest seem to be pattently sound though.

          • Average Joe

            OOPS!…scratch 21st(I didn’t proofread before posting)…I meant to say the 22nd Amendment.

        • independant thinker

You can change/clarify any particular thing in the constitution without scrapping and re-writhing it. It is called amending the constitution.

          • Laura

That is right. And that’s why when obama tries to convince the American people that we need to fundamentally change America is nothing but a diaper full of ——–. All that needs to be addressed is everything that has to do with the money aspects also known as torc reform and yes clarifying the bill of rights, the constitution document like that oh and cronyism of all kinds. But not by all means touch the main core element that this country stands for and that is capitalism. And that is what obama and all his Anti-American thugs have been and to this day is still trying to fundamentally change.

  • skippy

So??? There are communists IN the White House right now………and IN the Government right now……………
They seem to be welcomed with open arms now days. What happened to the good old American mentality that they are BAD, very BAD people?? Does anyone ANYWHERE get that??!! Please tell me there is someone, ’cause I know NEWT ain’t IT.

ROB, KARL MARX DID NOT INVENT SOCIALISM OR COMMUNISM, FRANCE HAD A BRIEF ROMANCE WITH COMMUNISM BEFORE MARX WAS BORN.

MARX DID, ACADEMICALLY, PUT BOTH ON THE POLITICAL MAP– HE GAVE THEM PHILOSOPHICAL STATUS–ALTHOUGH VIRTUALLY NOTHING HE WROTE WAS ORIGINAL. HE STARTED WITH ATHEISM–GOD DOES NOT EXIST; THEREFORE THE STATE MUST BECOME GOD. THE PEOPLE ARE TOO STUPID FOR SELF GOVERNMENT–THEY MUST BE DICTATED TO, IN EVERY FACET OF THEIR LIVES; IF THEY RESIST, KILL THEM, THERE IS NO GOD SAVE US, THE ELITE.

MARX BORROWED A VERY GREAT MASS OF HIS THEORY FROM THE GERMAN PHILOSOPHER HEGEL– ANOTHER GOD HATER WHO HAD DEVELOPED THE IDEA OF “DIALECTIC MATERIALISM”– GODLESS MATTER ARGUING WITH ITSELF: REDUCIBLE TO A SIMPLISTIC_ “THESIS; ANTITHESIS; SYNTHESIS. THE WHOLE OF HUMAN HISTORY IS THE PRODUCT OF WHAT “ONCE WAS(THESIS, AN EARLIER WORLD VIEW; COMBATED BY AN ANTITHESIS (ACTIVISM OF AN OPPOSITE THESIS) RESULTING IN A SYNTHESIS= THE NEW THESIS–DESTINED TO BE SUBJECT TO THE IDENTICAL CYCLE AND AN ULTIMATE DETERMINISTIC, THESIS– COMMUNISM– IT’S INEVITABLE, ACCORDING TO MARX AND ENGELS, BUT HEGEL WAS MUM ON THE ULTIMATE.

NOTE WELL, THAT MARXIAN THEORY STATES THAT SOCIALISM IS THE ***FIRST STAGE OF COMMUNISM** AND COMMUNISM REPLACES SOCIALISM BECAUSE THE STUPID PEOPLE WILL NOT COOPERATE WITH THE DEATH OF THEIR GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS–AND MUST BE COMPELLED AND CONTROLLED BY AN IRON-FISTED DICTATORSHIP.

MARX CALLED THIS “FINAL” GOVERNMENT, THE ULTIMATE SYNTHESIS– BY THE PATENTLY DECEITFUL NAME “THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE PROLETARIAT (THE DOMINANT LABOR CLASS UNDER MARXIST THEORY–THE PEOPLE’S DICTATORSHIP–WHEN ALL LIFE UNDER THE ELITIST DICTATORS WERE WERE SIMPLY THE ***VICTIMS*** OF THE OF THE GODLESS DICTATORS.

THE SOCIALIST STAGE OF THE RUSSIAN CONQUEST WAS VERY BRIEF, INDEED.

THE FIRST MOVE OF USSR WAS TO BAN GUNS AMONG THE PEOPLE–NEAR SIMULTANEOUSLY, PRAYER IN PUBLIC OR USING THE NAME OF GOD WAS SEVERELY PUNISHED, MANY COMMON WORDS WERE BANNED FROM PUBLIC SPEECH– THE BIRTH OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. (SOUND FAMILIAR? DID YOU NOTE THAT THESE EDICTS ARRIVED WITH OBAMA?) WHEN THE PEOPLE RESISTED, THEY MURDERED THOUSANDS OF ORTHODOX PRIESTS AND CLOSED ALL CHURCHES. THE LATTER WAS STATE SOCIALISM CUM VILE COMMUNISM.

JOSEPH STALIN, FDR’S “UNCLE JOE” MURDERED 60,000,000 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO RESISTED. THEIR BODIES FORMED THE FOUNDATION OF USSR COMMUNISM.

MAO TZE DUNG (MY PREFERRED TRANSLATION) MURDERED SEVENTY MILLION CHINESE PEASANTS– THE POPULATION SUICIDE RATE WAS UNCOUNTABLE–WHEN TOLD OF THAT, MAO TOLD HIS ARMY; “DON’T STOP THEM, WE HAVE TOO MANY PEOPLE– JUST REQUIRE THE PEASANTS TO BURY THEM, AND DIG THEIR OWN GRAVES WHICH WE WILL USE FOR THE DIGGERS. I AM PREPARED TO KILL 300,000,000 TO COMPEL OBEDIENCE (ONE HALF OF THE POPULATION OF CHINA AT THE TIME.)

ROB, CRITICS REFER TO SOCIALISM AS “COMMUNISM LITE”– OTHERS, “COMMUNISM, BY THE DRINK”

IS OBAMA A SOCIALIST? COMMUNIST? OBAMA IS A CONFIRMED MARXIST AT THE SOCIALIST STAGE. I BEGAN A STUDY OF CLASSICAL POLITICAL THEORY AS A CHILD OF 12– THAT WAS 62 YEARS AGO, I TAUGHT UNIVERSITY COURSES AT 26– THERE HAVE BEEN VERY FEW DAYS IN MY LIFE WITHOUT CONTINUING EDUCATION IN THIS FIELD. THE SECOND SPEECH MADE BY AN ELECTED OBAMA WAS RECORDED BY ME AND 11 PROFESSORIAL COLLEAGUES, AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; THE CONSENSUS? THE MAN IS A MARXIST.

ONE OF THE DEBATE MODERATORS ASKED THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY CANDIDATES THE QUESTION: “IS OUR PRESIDENT A SOCIALIST– GINGRICH’S IMMEDIATE, TERSE RESPONSE:
        “OF COURSE.”

OBAMA’S HATE FOR NEWT IS ONLY EXCEEDED BY HIS FEAR OF FACING NEWT. THE DEMOCRAT PARTY’S PRINCIPAL WEAPON IS THE LIE, THEY FEEL THAT ROMNEY WOULD WEAKER THAN OF ANY OF THE THREE POSSIBILITIES, THEIR CONTINUAL LIES TO THE CONTRARY, NOTWITHSTANDING.

Washington DC is the District of Corruption.
Newt sounds like another GLOBALIST for the New World Order.

I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYONE ON THE SUPPLY SIDE ECONOMICS TALK ABOUT THE TRUE REASON AMERICA IS WHERE WE ARE . CONGRESS DE REGULATED THE COMMERCE DEPARTMENT , WHICH IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS AMERICA HAS TODAY. REAGAN SIGNED IT 3 0 YEARS AGO . TRUE COST OF GAS AT THE PUMP SHOULD BE AROUND $ . 7 5 CENTS A GALLON . ALL THE REST IS MOSTLY TAXES . SAME WITH BEER AND TOBACO . AMERICAN COMMERCE DEPARTMENT SETS THE RATE ON ALL PRODUCTS , FOR THE SALES TAX . IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PRODUCT EXCEPT THE DEMAND FOR SUPPLY . WHATEVER WE PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR . COST OF LIVING IS ALL ABOUT SALES TAX . HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING ELSE . My name is T i m

    • Sol of Texas

      Tim –

Actually, lift price for a gallon of domestic oil is a lot higher than 10 cents. It’s probably in the 15 to 35 cent range. That’s just to get it to a delivery truck. There’s a lot needed to turn the basic hydrocarbons into gasoline or diesel fuel with each entity in the chain needing to make a profit (that comprises a 6-800% markup). Then the federal and state taxes enter the picture. National average (varies by state) is about 50 cents. Finally, the gas station or convenience store where you buy the gas also requires a markup.

      For the tax citation see:
      http://www.commonsensejunction.com/notes/gas-tax-rate.html

    • eddie47d

The federal tax on gas is still .18 and has been for numerous years. The state tax varies Tim yet the largest portion at the pump is not from taxes. Which brings us to a conservative ideal that states should control their own destiny. The federal government is not the one gouging you when it comes to those taxes or higher costs.

      • independant thinker

Technicaly you are wrong eddie although you are close enough. The fedreral tas an gas is 18.4 cents and it is 24.4 cents on diesel.

  • http://bridgetable.net aurora1920

If everything you say is true about Gingrich’s background (and I assume it is) then if all he wants is to be PRESIDENT (he might get shot at for doing it!)– he’d have a better chance by getting the Republican nomination in whatever way he can, confess after he gets it his true background, and run against Obama as representing the 3d party middle candidate where most of the independents are.

With his gift for seeking and receiving forgiveness for past actions, and gift of gab for explaining himself and having it sound vaguely rational as you listen (doubts come when you analyze what he’s said in print) — he might just win in this volatile year.

There are so many new websites — from Rise of the Center to Americans Elect to a new book The Swing Vote, its a FLOOD — on just this point: let’s dump the two parties and go for a pragmatic but ideaologically inconsistent mix that most Americans want. HAS to include survival of Social Security and Medicare no matter what Paul Ryan says. I do think Newt was responding from his gut when he characterized Ryan’s first budget as right wing extremism — but did you see those Ryan Republican supporters attacking him at his town meeting after that budget proposal?? You can’t politically LIVE being against Medicare and SS as we know it.

Ryan has backed off and made it “optional” for those 55 and under–as he damned well better do or no Republican will ever get elected again.

The problem with true conservatives (and true liberals and true anything) is that isn’t what most average people are about. They are illogical, whimsical, changeable, self-serving when it comes to politics. And sex and love and relgion too for that matter. Rational intelligence may change the level of argumentation but has nothing to do with where people come down when push comes to shove.

The true believers are always disappointed in the mass of people BECAUSE they simply cannot be counted on to be ideologically logical. Here’s one thing that may make you feel better — saw someone on C-span a few years back talking about scientific study that says whether you’re liberal or conservative is in your GENES–can’t help themselves.

    • wireline

Limited government Aurora is the answer, but the people have to want it for themselves. If they don’t, we all get more of the same that we been getting.

I see the next economic bubble being based on PACs, Political Blogs, Campaigns, Strategists, and so on. I expect $1.5B will be spent just on the presidential election . I must get contribution requests at least 20 times a day! :-o

I actually laughed out loud long and hard when Gingrich won South Carolina, the State that supposedly elects presidents. That proved once and for all that South Carolinians are, for the most part, complete idiots. Bravo for the actual sensible percentage of that State’s population which apparently still have working brain cells and voted Paul. Ron Paul 2012!

I think Newt winning South Carolina is like Mitt winning New Hampshire. I think it was more geopolitik (id est, “kulture”) than anything else.

I’m more interested in the results from Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, and Minnesota in the coming month (most of these are caucuses).

  • nick beck

if ng gets the nomination we MUST support him – like him or not. if he beats the avowed comme he just might behave himself as he will immed. have his sights on the next election as he knows that running anything BUT a conservative 4yrs. will make him a 1 term pres. in this light we can only win something. another 4yrs of the illegal bum and there is a good chance of an armed revolt – if you think that could not happen than you simply have your head in the sand.—-see the joint police-military exercises going on in los angles NOW—–common get with it.

    • nick beck

i might also add that i would ABSOLUTELY vote for dr.ron paul as he comes very close to my thinking—however, and this is deplorable to me , HE HAS NOOOO CHANCE OF WINNING THE PRES. too much $$$,power and press against him-its a shame that its the reality now and that hes not in his 50s..

      • Sol of Texas

        Nick –

Don’t sell out your principles. (You’ve got to believe).

The American colonists had no chance to defeat the King’s Army and Navy in 1775, but in Yorktown (Va), by 1781 “the world turned upside down”.

      • Mark in LA

Nick the only reason Ron Paul “cannot” win is because the Republican establishment doesn’t want him to. These are the same people who come to me every 2 years and ask for my vote then crap all over me once they have it. If this group won’t ever vote for my candidate why should I vote for theirs?

    • Suzie

Any vote besides Ron Paul is either a vote for communism (left) or fascism (right). I will vote for neither. We are in a great deal of trouble in this country and there is only one person willing to take the (painful) steps to get us out of it… Ron Paul. We can go through a little pain or become slaves… time to choose.

  • Henry Stock

I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I read articles like these, I find myself trying to figure out what the angle of the author is, e.g. Is this author a supporter of a specific candidate and is this just spin. With all the crap we hear about each of the candidates it is pretty difficult to come up with a reasonable view of any of the candidates.

None of them are perfect! I believe that we need someone with really strong communication skills, someone that can arouse some passion in the electorate. It seems to me that the person with the strongest conservative credentials is not the strongest communicator. I wish that he was.

I don’t like it at all that we are tearing down candidate left and right. I suppose that it is inevitable as the left is going to do it anyway. We might as well see who is best capable of withstanding the onslaught. But I really wish there was more concentration on the positive values of the candidates.

    • wireline

Henry you are right none of them are perfect, but the closest one to it that is still running is Ron Paul. None of the others will ever espouse to limited government as envisioned by the founders are one of a Constitutional Republic as written. But Ron Paul scary little man that he is, scares the hell out of a lot of folks, so they refuse to support him.

      • Deerinwater

Well, “FEAR” seems to be the single common denominator among most all self-proclaimed “Conservatives” . I find this paranoia and fear excessive and well over the top.

The GOP has tapped into this fear and exploits it in ways that serves them best. The GOP, by and large is guilt of feeding this fear if not actually the ones that create it.

Why self proclaimed conservatives have this unlimited capacity for “fear” has amused me for many years. The paranoia seems to be a “staple of life” like bread itself. They need it. I’m left to believe that they were taught to “fear” from childhood and do not know of life without it. It’s sad really, to have such a thing as fear locked forever in your mind and much of what you think , do and say is predicated on “fear”, that paralyzes and restrict a person from being truly free and a free agent unto yourself.

When I came back from Nam I carried a paranoid of being ambushed for many years. Roads, bridges, rivers, stands of tree lines, blind corners, strangers, silence, unusual stillness, I seen danger in many places where there was no threat. It wasn’t much fun, I was glad to be back, but those years was really hell to live through.

        • NC

Deerinwater, I,too, in my 76 years have noticed the fear and paranoia of the Conservatives. From the mania of the Joe McCarthy days through the fear of Nixon that everyone was out to ruin him to the conspiracy laced posts of this thread.I think it is a fear that the world is too complex for their simplistic “answers” for the problems.

WELCOME BACK FROM THE MENTAL HELL YOU HAVE HAD TO ENDURE. I was in the military only a short time and I have often wondered if I could endure the mental strain of a war with no front lines.

          • s c

NC, in your 76 years, did you ever take some time to work on your vocabulary? Frankly, you sound like a typical utopian.
There are neocons, there are RINOs and there are ‘Republicans.’ And then there are conservatives. Why should I think you ever take the time to sort and sift one group from another?
It’s SO easy for some to turn off their brains. It’s the ONE AND ONLY ‘gift’ that utopians have. Hence, my doubts about you, your ‘vocabulary’ and your reasons for being here.

          • Doug

Thanks for your service! But I fear no one and I consider myself a conservative! If you live in a fantasy land and think the world is like playing candy land you sadly mistaken. There are many things going on in this world you should fear and that is that power corrupts most people!

          • Deerinwater

But I do not fear, I respect prudence but I refuse to be dominated by fear of what “might happen” or what someone “might do”

Fear kills the spirit and clouds the mind with question, doubt and confusion. Fear engages the most basic emotions of “fight & flight” and supersedes all other thoughts and emotions, blocking them out.

Fear is a killer of the soul.

and thank you NC, I’m glad to be home and complete today and offer testimony.

When Churchill said; “We had nothing to fear but fear itself” he meant exactly what he said, it was not metaphor but a naked truth.

        • Robert Smith

From Deerinwater: “They need it. I’m left to believe that they were taught to “fear” from childhood and do not know of life without it.”

Well, most of ‘em have been taught to fear a brutal god that has destroyed the word, except for Noah and his kin, blasted cities, and generally threatens folks with eternal hell. And he loves you? Yup, like a priest loves a little boy.

Yup, the root of it is fear.

          Rob

          • Deerinwater

I considered getting into the “Fear of God” aspects of the self proclaimed, born again Christian but declined, not having the time to develop it well at the moment.

It’s a delicate subject and touches many, I’m slow to dive in head first without a clear message and purpose. I’d like too! But offending people for the sake of amusement is not why I am here.

But it is a shame the volume of fear we see and hear, things that will never happen and even if they did, it’s out of your control to change.

I’m a old boy scout, “Be Prepared” is or was the Boy Scout motto. I guess it still is. • Doug

Obozo the clown is a good communicator where did that get us! We need people with substance not speeches only liberal intellectuals get all caught up in speech it actions that we should seek!

Ron Paul actions and voting record seems to spot on!

      • NC

Doug, there are only two viable candidates (r)or (D) on the national ballot every four years! How long since we have had a President who was not one or the other?
By election day the “More conservative groups”(R) have picked their candidate from neocons, rinos, ultras or libertarians or what ever you people choose to call yourselves. We Democrats don’t really care what you people choose to call yourselves or how you make the distinction of who becomes the (R) on the ballot.
If you choose to write in a name please have at it! If you choose to splinter and run a third party, Mr. Paul, PLEASE ,PLEASE,PLEASE HAVE AT IT! The DNC will gladly pay the costs of your convention!!

Honestly, you don’t fear Obama?? Do you fear that “spot on ron” won’t get nominated? Do you fear that without Ron the country will be weaker? You really do have some fears don’t you??? Do you have “THE REAL FEAR” that we will get another george w. “the village idiot” bush if we pick the (r)in 2012? Can we survive it? The 69+ million who voted against MCCain(R) in 2008 will have to make that decision again. I don’t see any (R) running I would trade my 2008 for!!

  • Fedup

When Ron Paul doesn’t get the nomination, we will have to choose from what’s left, and we done no matter whom we elect.
Let’s not forget that no matter who wins, we are still dealing with the “Washington, D.C.” that has given us $15trillion of debt. I do not believe there will be a turnaround without another Revolutionary War. Washington, and everyone that has been there in the past century, is the problem. GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM – PERIOD!
This government has outlived its usefulness – face it!

    • wireline

Fedup with do this every election cycle. I said the same thing when Dole was running, same with McCain. I pointed out we can do better and was told we have to take it slowly and in small steps. We here are again, nothing has changed in the 20 years since Dole ran and we are fixing to do it again.
Same oh, same oh. Another loozer candidate like the Newt. Yes we can all vote for Newt once he gets the nomination, the point is America loses no matter who wins the election. Whether it is Obama or Newt. Two sides of the same coin if you ask me, just different flavors of the social issues. Other than that the march continues towards globalism, one world government, whatever title you want to put on that.

    • Deerinwater

Well, Life is a problem as well. Houses, cars, system are all problematic.

I’m not ready to die, to walk everywhere or live outdoors just because of some problems.

My family has been a problem off & on as well. We’ve had to straighten somethings out, negotiate, compromise and accept.

I’ve had problem with my cotton sack, my foot, my back, my head, hair, my hands, my fingers, my leg, my arm, my TV, my door bell.

We apply a fix and continue to march forward.

And that is what we’ll do with government.

  • Deerinwater

Newt is Shape Shifter, and a good one.

When I need one, it’s nice know where to look.

  • Rebecca Carlson

How do I know that whenever opening my Bob Livingstone website, I am going to get more “bash everyone EXCEPT Ron Paul?” Wonder why it took me three months to figure it out?! At least it is out of the bag now.

    • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

      Dear Rebecca Carlson,

Look at the masthead. What words do you see there for the name of this site? Which candidate continually talks about it? Therein lies your answer.

      Best wishes,
      Bob

    • Deerinwater

LOL! well Rebecca, it’s horse race and it depends on where your hopes and dreams lie I suppose.

The best horse don’t always win. You can place your money on who you think might win or who you wish would win.

Many here are doubling down on who they “wish” would win.

To look at this process of election with a wider view offers us a better understanding of what is taking place.

Any change comes from outside forces offering sustain pressure over a period of time.

There much more at work here then just an election process. We are talking and framing the issues that matter most to us.

We are separating the wheat from the chaff.

There are many side issues and rabbit trail that tend to divert our attentions, like birth certificates, but still~ we learn from this.

This process is “on going” and will not come to an end just because someone is elected.

      Welcome to politics.

  • nick beck

fedup—-were not alone , and were not done. our trump card is the 2nd amendment . this nonsense will come to a head long BEFORE they can take our guns away. and do keep in mind that only 5% of the population is 15000000 strong–more determined men than all standing armies on a global scale and these men and women will have the necessary motivation that a paid army is lacking especially considering the other side of the equation will be in the position of attacking their own—most recent examples–north africa etc. etc.

  • Bruce D.

Newt is lying every time he calls himself a Reagan conservative. He is a Washington insider who betrayed the conservative movement in the 90s. His betrayal laid the foundation in the Republican Party for Medicaid and ‘compassionate conservation’ which is basically debt spending.

  • jimbo

People tell me all the time that they won’t vote for a third party candidate (or the Republican they want), because he or she “can’t win”. Well, if you believe your guy won’t win, and you don’t vote for him, he most certainly WILL NOT win. It’s a self fulfilling thing. You get who you vote for, and you have no one to blame but yourself. What’s worse is the message the Republican party gets from this is they can KEEP promoting or advancing wishy washy, lame candidates, like Bob Dole, George Bush, and John McCain, rather than true conservatives who honor and respect our Constitution.

If a few people were to start voting with courage – for the right man, instead of “the guy who can win”, other people might catch on. After the party loses a few elections from the defections from the establishment choice, the party will be forced to change.

    • http:ASATEENANDYOUNGADULT, ITHOUGHTITSHEERNONSENSETHATMYBELOVED LAND--CLASPINGTHEHANDOFGOD--COULDEVERSLIPFROMHERSINGULAR,SHININGPEDESTALOFTHEPRIME SAVIOROFOURWORLDFROMTHEAXISPOWERS--THENATIONCARRYI RAYMOND HARBIN

Jimbo–crystal clear and a perfect stab in the absolute center of the bullseye.

Called the Republican Establishment. They also gave us Richard Nixon who gave us Gerald Ford, who gave us VP Nelson Rockefeller– what kindnesses these stellar citizens have wrought in behalf of the Democrat Party.

Now they insist on blessing us with Mitt Romney whose conservative credentials are nearly as lofty as those of Joe Biden.

And Jimbo, take care to notice that ALL of these SPECIAL Gifts were the kind of conservatives who stood about midway between immensely disliking and abjectly hating Ronald Reagan.

Is it any surprise that their last gift, John McCain, was rejected in favor of a Marxian Socialist Nincompoop?

With a Republican Establishment like this the Democrats don’t even need a party!! They can operate on national write-ins.

  • JAB

The comments about FDR concern me a lot, but I am not sure that Newt ever supported cap and trade, to use understatement.
When he sat next to Pelosi, he only said they should find ways to work together on global warming issues. Well, we all want clean air, even if we want to abolish the EPA. Did he really co-sponsor a bill with her for cap and trade? If he did, I think it would be given a lot more publicity, so I doubt it.

  • firefight

Did you ever feel like you were the puppet? Like, you were being led around by the nose? That’s what the media does to all of us. We keep on looking, watching and listening and eventually, we pick the candidate that the media has already chosen for us. At this point, picking anyone like Romney or Gingrich will be a bad choice. I personally feel they are Republicans in name only. I know Gingrich is anti-gun and that tells me all I need to know about him. I’ve been watching Sanatorum more closely and have a much better feeling about him than the other three. Interesting how he won Iowa after a vote recount. Does that tell you folks anything at all. Voter manipulation/tampering happens in the Republican party just like in the Democratic party. That should tell all of us that there is a higher power trying to pick our candidate. We need someone who is pro-freedoms. Right now, we have Romney and Gingrich who are definitely anti-freedoms. Ron Paul sit astride the fence on too many issues and is not nearly strong enough on foreign policy……and any one of them who thinks our military needs to be down sized doe not need to be our leader……PERIOD!

Mr. Hoying where do you live that you can’t pray in your home or church or silently any where you wish to bow your head?

    • chellethesouthernbelle

Mr Hoying, I believe you have hit the nail right on the head….Even now as I sit and read these comments they bring me to tears…We seem to be a nation without HOPE despite what Obama promised us…Our Founding Fathers may not have all been professing Christians, but just like Ben Franklin said, they believed God governed in the affairs of men…and unless we look to Heaven to build the house of America, we that attempt to build, labor in vain…

I’ve tried to do my part…I attempt to educate myself…I pray for the WILL of the FATHER and His Kingdom to come… I try to Love my neighbor…Yet I have a gun, and would not hesitate to use it to protect my family…I pay my taxes and give to Charity…I fly a flag in my yard and love my Country but despise what it has become…

I believe it is inevitable that a NWO is coming and often wonder if America is not the Great Whore of Babylon, but perhaps, just perhaps things will get better, yet I believe they will not…unless, the people of God, humble themselves and pray, and turn and seek HIS face, repent of our wickedness, He will not heal our land….And what is even more fearful to me is that great repentance and great change for the better never comes unless great trial or hardship comes first….

Nevertheless, I will be casting my vote for Ron Paul if he gets the nomination, for while he is not perfect, his views most align themselves with mine and I can’t see him bowing before the “Great Owl of Moloch” along with the rest of the Bohemian Grove Elite!

Enough newt bashing. He is no where near perfect, but I don’t think ANYONE else can beat obummer. Stop letting the news media tell you who to vote for, remember 2008, the news media seemed to be in love with mccain, because they knew he would be easy to beat, & he was. Especially when they started to tear him to pieces. The MOST important thing now is to get obummer out of office before he completely destroys the US. That is the only reason he was installed as president. First priority is to get him out, then worry about the other stuff, otherwise it will be too late.

  • Walker

It surprises me after reading Bob Livingston’s newsletter and the following coments that something is glaringly missing in all of it. Newt Gringrich lead the way, as did almost everyone else involved in politics, in getting these “free trade” agreements passed. These “free trade” agreements are the biggest if not the only reason jobs have left this country. NAFTA, CAFTA, SPP (which has now changed into some new letters), and now a free trade agreement with Colombia, Asia, and somewhere else. The USA is the largest UNION in the world. No one works in the US for less than $7.25 PER HOUR. In China nike is complaning and theatening to go “inland” because wadges have increased to over $2.60 PER WEEK. Mexico (SPP) $15-16.00 PER DAY. The media (all) say this is to allow us to expand our markets. What is a chinaman, mexican, asian, columbian, etc. going to buy over there that we make over here. Free Trade was establised for one reason only TO ALLOW OUR MANUFACTURES TO MOVE OFF SHORE, HIRE THIRD WORLDERES, GIVE THEM SOME INCOME AND ATTEMPT TO GIVE THEM A CONSUMER MIDDLE CLASS WHICH CAN SPEND. Almost every U S international company making “record profits” sees and acknowledges these record profits are fuled by “international expanding markets”. Problem is the stuff is made over there and not in the US. WE CANNOT COMPETE WHEN OUR UNION SETS THE PRICE AND BENIFITS THAT WE MUST WORK FOR AND THE “FOREIGN MARKETS” ARE IN A FREE-FOR-ALL. EXACTLY HOW THE US SHOULD BE SET UP. In free markets, it has to be free. Hypothetical: Someone loans me $10 million with interest at 2% to start a business and pay off my interest and principal in 10 years. Think. I deside in the US, sooner than later with all jobs going overseas, that I can make a good pair of tennis shoes that have to sell around $12.99. I wouldn’t need to build a factory here in the US now because so many are sitting empty, however with health care, pregnant mothers leave, $7.25 per hour and on and on (if I did have to build a factory the average time for permitting is more than 4 years–then I have to build) I think heck this is Wednesday, I’ll fly to China today, get there tomorrow, meet with the chinaman, and be making tennis shoes in the same buildings as Nike, Rebock, and Addidas by monday of next week. FREE TRADE WORKS EXACTLY LIKE THIS. WHY IS IT THAT NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THIS FLEECING OF AMERICAN WORKERS? Is it because we get paid to do nothing for 2 1/2 years if we can’t find a job that pays at least $7.25 per hour? If your hair cut was $0.25 and bread was a dime who cares. This is free market or a result of it. Truth is there is no free trade, its just an invitation by the US gov’t on behalf of the multi-national corporations to expand operations at much cheeper costs overseas, accomplishing 2 things. 1. shuting down manufacturing in the US and 2. generating a consumer middle class in third world countries at our middle class’ expense. The pain is gonna last a long time in the US. If we keep talking about “balancing the budget” as if this is somehow going to make us all better, we diffently have drank the “kool aid”, and gone hook, line and sinker down the path provided for us by our benevenlent rulers. Think about “free trade” and what it has done to us. Make people in the media and Livingston and others talk about it and deal with it honestly for what exactly it is. Its a job destroyer. We either have to give up the USA UNION or free trade, we cannot survive with both.

FYI: #1 contributor to Newt Gingrich, who, by the way, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, but I digress, Mr. Sheldon Adelson. More Appearantly becoming the Soro’s of the Right. HAving so far invested 17.7 million in Newt ( that is if Mrs Adelson come through with another 5 million she promised)(( Note ** I was mistaken in past comments, I had listed 27.7 million, but it is only 17.7 million, only. )) What did Newt promise Adelson ? Why did Newt stop at his casino over in China, a casino that Adelson seemingly had convinced Tom Delay to stall a bill going through congress to denounce China’s terrible treatment of workers/slaves, which would have ensured the Olympics didn’t go to China in 2008. Well, low and behold, Delay stopped this bill, and his buddie, Sheldon got one of the coveted Casino license in China. The only American investor to have such a distinct privilege. Newt just happened to stop by this casino while doing research as a “Historian”, wink, wink, only to return to the states and receive his first 1 million from Sheldon to start American solutions. He burned through this in no time, and needed another, which Sheldon agreed. Since this time, Sheldon has donated 17.7 million to Newt. The most money EVER spent on one person by a single donor.

  • HOFFHACK

What gun control did Newt support???? You do not get an A+ rating from the NRA if you ever supported ANY gun control, that is why Santorum only has a B+. You say he supported cap and Trade…WHEN??? You say he supported INDIVIDUAL MANDATES….WHEN?? I recall only one time he was for anything that had a mandate in it, and that was to be State Run, and he backed off that almost immediately. You say he supported TARP…..again I ask: WHEN??? He has said he would change things in the Patriot act & the NDAA. FYI…NEWT HAS BEEN OUT OF CONGRESS SINCE THE 1990s!!! NEWT IS SO BRILLIANT, HE CONSTANTLY “MUSES” ABOUT THINGS AND MAKES OFF THE CUFF REMARKS WHICH HE LATER CORRECTS, OR CHANGES THEM ONCE HE EXAMINES HIS CONSCIENCE! YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY FOR RON PAUL, WHOM I CALL THE V-1 BUZZ BOMB WITH AN “MD”……YOU SEND HIM UP AND YAH NEVER KNOW WHERE HE’LL LAND!!! NEXT YOU WILL TAP INTO THAT FINE BUSINESS, WHICH EVERYONE INCLUDING THE NY TIMES KNEW WAS A POLITICAL “HATCHET” JOB, AND WHEN ALL WAS SAID AND DONE, EVEN THE IRS SAID HE DID NOTHING WRONG OR ILLEGAL!!!! Paul does not have a snowballs chance in Hadies of getting the Nomination, which would guarantee 4 more years of Obama. Romney a has bonifide record of gun control, individual mandates, he increased taxes on almost everything including 800% on guns and ammunition!!! Santorum is a “Light Weight” might make a good VP (better than JOE for sure) NEWT won back congress and balanced 4 budgets. While he stuck to the principals of the Contract With America, many Republicans got seduced by the inside the Beltway crowd, and got more and more liberal, NEWT saw the hand writting on the wall and got out, and the next elections they all got “KICKED OUT” BECAUSE WE HAD IT AND THEY BLEW IT!! NOW THE TEA PARTY IS GIVING THE REPUBLICANS ONE MORE CHANCE, AND I BELIEVE THAT NEWT IS THE GUY TO LEAD IT, AND SO DO MANY MORE OF US THEN THOSE SUPPORTING DR.PAUL.

      Dear HOFFHACK,
On gun control: Gingrich supports the Brady National Gun Registry, a national biometric thumbprint registry of gun owners, and he voted for the Lautenberg gun ban and the criminal Safe Zones Act. The GOA rates him below C-. http://gunowners.org/newtgingrich-2012.htm

      On individual mandates: http://thehill.com/video/campaign/201421-gingrich-argued-for-individual-mandate-in-2008

      On TARP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJb2NfqwghY

      On the Patriot Act: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-11-23/gingrich-supports-patriot-act-powers-to-protect-u-s-in-danger-.html

On NDAA: Gingrich supports the Patriot Act and has said he wants to see it expanded. He has avoided speaking about the NDAA at all, which implies consent.

RE: Ron Paul: Apparently what he says travels straight over your head. Dr. Paul is, in fact, the father of the Tea Party and is the only candidate that is true to its ideals.

      Best wishes,

South Carolina has a huge population of Tea-Party. Look at the polls–it’s as if Paul was not even on the ballot.

The Tea-Party is dominated by serious Evangelical Christians– these are not impressed by radical anti-Christian politics.

What about this from http://www.nationalgunrights.org/does-newt-still-support-gun-control/: “Newt supports a national biometric thumbprint database for gun purchasers – He doesn’t think that the Brady National Gun Registry goes far enough and that gun owners should be forced to undergo fingerprinting before they are allowed to purchase a firearm…”

What is wrong with positive ID? If we don’t know who they are how do we catch the bad guys?

I’ve already had to give my prints to join the military and then again when I got my DCM M-1. What’s the problem with a posative ID?

      Rob

      • Average Joe

“What is wrong with positive ID? If we don’t know who they are how do we catch the bad guys?”

Well let’s see, Fingerprinting targets lawful gun owners and purchasers….and not the “bad guys”. You see, the “bad guys” don’t walk into a local gun store and undergo a background check before purchasing a gun. On the contrary, they tend to buy guns from shady guys in back alleys and seedy sections of town or from other seedy people that they know. BTW, those particular “gun dealers” don’t usually ask for your fingerprints…or your ID for that matter…just a specific amout of cash ( Ben’s and Ullyses’ are the ID required for purchase).

So, to recap…Positive ID only identifies lawful gun owners and NOT the “bad guys” as you would attempt to claim.

I’m going to vote for Ron Paul! I don’t think that he can become president or even get the republican nomination. But the time comes when you must stand up for what you believe! I can no longer vote for “the lesser of two evils”. I believe that if we don’t have a candidate like Paul, this country is headed for the proverbial “crapper”. We might as well let a democrat be the one who sends us there. I believe that our country is in grave danger. The state of our economy is our greatest threat. The actions of our representatives in international affairs have caused our second greatest threat. I believe that Ron Paul is the only candidate who is willing to do the things that are necessary to put us on the right track. However, I don’t believe that Paul is good at communicating to the people what is really going on in this country. I don’t believe that he has communicated his intent to defend our country, when necessary. People think he’s a nut and that he would sit back and do nothing ” when Iran tries to kill us all”. I don’t want a smooth talker like Obama, but Paul has GOT to be able to express himself in a way that the average person “gets” it. I’m expecting our economy to crash. I don’t think that any of the other candidates will do anything to save it. I’ m going to make sure that I have food stocked up so that when hyperinflation hits, my family will at least have food to eat. Well the all lie. but I do know newt was a junior congressman under Reagan so he was well taught. He had the greatest respect for Reagan. I was in my 50′s than and remember it well as for his works as speaker as well as the flawed 84 ethics charges he was found no guilty off. He got more done as speaker during the four years with Clinton than anyone else in history whether with a Republican or Democrat president. It’s on record.look it up.
We had Reagan the ripper. and now we have Romney the flipper. there are hundreds of those. So many no one knows exactly where he stands on anything. Why doesn’t Bob Livingston also write about that. Could it be that he is using his power of the Pen to advance his own political preferences?

    • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

      Dear Oscar Booth,

You write: “…Why doesn’t Bob Livingston also write about that.” I have.

You write: “Could it be that he is using his power of the Pen to advance his own political preferences?” Yes.

Ronald Reagan had his own radio commentary before he ran for President.

Bob, you are making the assumption that the elections in SC were accurate and honest. I think it is more likely the vote was rigged rather than SC-inans being ill informed.

      Dear former walmart person,

Obviously they weren’t. The MSM has documented that almost 1,000 dead people voted.

            Dear RAYMOND HARBIN,

You are correct in that the SC AG sent this letter prior to SC primary. However, it is quite naïve to think that it happened only once. The Iowa Republican Party telegraphed ahead of time they would not let Ron Paul win the caucus, and that vote buying and other nefarious policies would be in play. The elites and the crooks are frightened that the status quo is being challenged and are doing all they can to suppress any and all challengers.

Lying Newt! So whats the answer, vote for Mitt Romney who is more liberal, come on like them or not so far these are the only two choices we have. Here in California we don’t vote till June, by then our candidate is picked for us. I believe that Newt will hold fast to concervative ideas if he becomes President. I can’t say the same for Mitt Romney

    • Red

Well, I could agree with you, if Newt was a conservative, but he isn’t. He is a quasi-big government guy. All he has ever known is government. He lives and breaths with the influence peddlers on K Street and has done very well, but tries hard to hid the fact that he is indeed a lobbyist cashing in on his years of experience and knowlege in DC. He has gone to great lengths to avoid being called a lobbyist, because he would have to register as one.

Gingrich was elevated to a win in S.C. only because of his debating skills. However, debates are only for the purpose of getting voters acquainted with each candidate’s stance on issues and policy. Debates are not for the purpose of deciding our next president, based on a candidate’s debating skills. A good debater does not equal a good president. A candidate is best judged by his character, voting record, stance on policies and issues, and his plan. In addition, a candidate’s plan should be consistent with his voting record. If a candidate’s voting record is inconsistent with his plan, it should send up a red flag – something fishy here – an insincere candidate. I’m voting for the only candidate who measures up. View Ron Paul’s “Plan to Restore America.”: http://www.ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/ron-paul-plan-to-restore-america/

ANN– I’M SURE YOUR THOUGHTS ARE WELL-INTENDED– BUT, TO THOSE OF KNOWLEDGE AND MATURITY, THE ARE BUT THE WORDS OF A CHILD.

“When a man {or woman} is young– {he/she},is uncaring, if not a Liberal– but when older and mature, then stupid, if not a Conservative.” Winston Churchill.

But if, as one gets even older, as Dr. Paul, and trespasses beyond the God given boundaries of freedom and liberty and Christian understanding– into a forbidden land of sin and anarchy– then, the wisdom of Doctor Paul’s own profession, in unison, declare:

“Don’t be too harsh on the good Doctor Paul, he has merely entered the community of Senility; a land that beckons us all, if the powers our bodies outlive the vigor of our minds.” ‘But citizens, please remember, the precision of his mentality was worn down through seven decades of trying to provide noble government, health and peace to his brothers and sisters of the country he patently honored and manifestly loved.”

  • Earl, QUEENS, NY

I’m no big fan of Newt. Perhaps he’s getting a bit senile; e.g. favoring mandates for health insurance, going along with Nazi Pelosi on the global warming scam, etc. I’d like to see Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann get back into the 2012 race. In their absence, Rick Santorum is probably the next best choice. But I would vote for Newt Gingrich over the RINO Mitt-nitwit Romney, and I’d even vote for Mitt-nitwit over the crackpot Ron Paul, who many of you seem to worship. I don’t know how you can support such a crackpot. In fact, this fool ‘Wrong’ Paul may be even worse than Obama on foreign policy. Anybody who’s worse than BHO on an important issue must be defeated, and should abandon the race for POTUS!! Can you imagine this fool debating BHO on foreign policy?? I bet BHO could beat him without a teleprompter!! As for being pro-Constitution, there are many conservatives who ARE pro-Constitution. We certainly don’t need a crack-pot (who BTW wants to legalize both of these brain damaging substances!!) to protect the Constitution.

Some of you people need to get your heads out of the sand!! Being anti-Paul is NOT being against our Constitution. Where in the Constitution does it say we should legalize crack or pot?? That makes as much sense as the liberal democraps who cite the welfare cause to justify Obamacare, redistribution of wealth, etc. IMHO he isn’t even worthy to be re-elected to Congress, much less the White House. Texas voters really should try to defeat ‘Wrong’ Paul and dispatch him to retirement in the next congressional primary. If you really are pro-Constitution, then you should focus on the political party which we know constantly thumbs its nose at our Constitution – that is – DEFEAT THE LEFTWING DEMOCRAP PARTY!!

WON’T!!! Supporting the “lesser of two evils” is supporting evil. I think Newt tells us what we want to hear but I don’t think it is who he is or what he will do. I think that Romney is no different than Obama. Call him “progressive, moderate”, I don’t care. To me, it is socialism or communism. I want my rights restored!

It’s amazing how people can be given information to interpret and all they can see is their “guy”. There are 3 points of view; yours, mine, and the truth lies between them. Look at their records, look at their morals.charachter, and actually listen to what they say. People of substance will talk about what needs to be done, not empty promises, or slogans to get the simple folk marching. Thanks for the article and the links to back up the truth Mr. Livingstone!

  • Rocketman

At the South Carolina debate when John King asked Gingrich about his open marriage if you noticed carefully Gingrich didn’t actually deny the charge. What he said to King that asking that question was contemptible. I would have replied to Gingrich “Fact number one, you had to leave the speakership in disgrace.” “Fact number two, you attempted to cover the crime up to a congressional committee that was investigating it and in an overwhelming vote from both parties you were fined $300,000.” “You were married to your second wife for 18 years and while she has a reason to lie about so do you.” “So now who do we trust?” “Do we trust a woman who may be lying or do we trust a man who has already been caught lying and convicted of it?” That would have shut up that little overblown windbag.

  • http://www.Saltshaker.US Dave Leach

In order to rationally call Newt’s statements a “lie”, you normally need to take some specific claim, such as a particular meeting Newt says he was at, and show it false, ie. he was never there. Instead, Livingston does not question a single specific assertion of Newt, but compares the general statement of Newt that he is a conservative with a list of things he has supported as evidence that he is not. While many of us agree at least some of those positions are not conservative, there is too much sincere disagreement about those issues to assume without further discussion that they are so patently liberal that Newt was “lying” to hold them under the umbrella called “conservative”.

Here is Livingston’s list: Cap and trade. I remember when this concept was invented by Republicans. I remember the Democrat’s laws to which it was an alternative. (1) It was directed not at future fanciful “global warming” paranoia but at real air pollution which used to be a considerable problem. (2) It was a way of avoiding Democrat’s industry-crippling inflexible caps by letting the free market put a value on excess pollution above the caps, against which industry could weigh the financial advantage of cleaning up the output. (3) Democrats, who held the reins, would accept nothing less; it was a miracle to get them to accept that! (4) Compared to the alternative, it was conservative, and ingenious, and all Republicans thought so.

Livingston lists “individual mandates”. I presume he means Obamacare’s mandate upon individuals that they pay for it. Newt’s simple explanation on his website, which Livingston should at least acknowledge and address in the interest of honesty, is that the Republican response to Hillarycare in 1992 explored these “individual mandates”, and at one point virtually all conservatives supported them because they were a more conservative option than Hillarycare and it appeared that public pressure combined with Democrat control demanded SOMETHING; but conservatives in general came to see their folly over the following years.

Bailouts: although from hindsight Republicans are virtually unanimous that every “bailout” was dumb, it was not so 4 years ago. President Bush and presidential candidate McCain pushed hard for them. While McCain was seen as liberal in relation to Huckabee, I don’t remember that Bush was thought of as particularly liberal. There were a lot of congressmen who we normally count as “conservative” who were caught up in it; enough that a congressman who calls himself “conservative” should not be called a “liar” just because he voted for it. TARP was part of the movement.

Gun control? Patriot Act? Did Roosevelt do anything good? (Like, maybe, defeat Germany?) These are general areas. These were attempts to address real, serious problems which the best minds struggled to resolve with the least injury to freedom. We can’t honestly call a congressman “liberal” for his mere vague support of an issue, without addressing the details he supported, and the alternatives he could have supported which Americans were willing to accept.

Not even God was willing to impose more freedom on His people than they were willing to accept; 1 Samuel 8. A man cannot be deprived of the label “conservative” for enacting legislation that is as close as he can get to conservative principles that his constituents will tolerate.

I am so conservative that newspaper headlines decry my “right wing” radicalism. I am not prepared to measure Newt’s “conservatism” compared to the other candidates, but it seems clear to me that far more conservative goals WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED under his administration than under any other. Beginning with bridling the Supreme Court.

Bob, if you respond to this, can you let me know in an email? I can’t tell that I will be notified otherwise.

  • larry m balducci Sr

the whole entire country is missing the big picture. obama pisses me off, i like newt no matter his record because he is the only one with a big enough set to stand up to obama and the liberal elite. yes, romney only says the things that he thinks the people want to hear. this is obvious with the way he always give half a hauk and smile when ever he thinks he cleverly dropped a got-cha on newt or santoram or paul.
fact is romney has a neuclear got-cha to drop on everyone if elected. it is common knowledge that romneys’ a mormon, but what is not common knowledge is all the hidden little things about mormons that might make people give a more serious look at romney. now his religion should have nothing to do with the election and i’m not implying that it dose. what i am implying is that a persons complete character is completely influenced by his religion, especially with a 2nd or maybe even third generation member. romney scares me because my opinion is that we will get more than just the man in the whitehouse. i like newt because he is in my opinion our only hope. all these repubs that always have so much to criticise about those who have the patriotic fortitude to make a stand for us, dont deserve respect or our ear for their bomb throwing all knowing ,all popular point of view cause they dont respect us enough to step up to the plate when in some cases people begged them to, they turned away their ear and slipped back into their comfort zone.
so it is up to us to pick someone that is not afraid to stand toe to toe with obama, polosi and their machine. now our candidates, if we’re going to vet one then we need to vet all of them and then make a choice

As yet, I have only seen one who fits the bill, and that is Ron Paul. Bob,
All along, listening to the debates, I felt like Ron Paul was a bit weak on foreign affairs but now feel like he just wants to keep us out of the affairs of other countries and trying to police the world. This could be good but given today’s world with so much contempt toward us that has been created by past administrations, we need to be vigilant. Moreover, we can’t afford to reduce our military defenses and we can’t afford to ignore the insurgency movements within our own borders. The job to clean up our country is enormous as is the work ahead of us to restore our image to the world.

I received an email yesterday telling me that Fox news was going to do a full exposure of Obama this Sunday, the 29th at 8 pm eastern, 9 pm central. This expose reportedly will tell all about Obama’s dealings with all of his Chicago buddies and his 20 year relationship with Rev. Wright. If this is true, I don’t want to miss it. If it is just a rumor, I will be disappointed. Someone on the Republican ticket needs to step forward with a full frontal attack on all of these Obama issues during the debates. These candidates should be singing like a quartet on these issues. Why is this not happening?

The Newt that we all remember from his Mr. Speaker days is coming to full flower. He is a very bright guy who thinks he can talk his way around anything. Like most politicans he never lets th truth get in the way of a good story. He relies on the public getting emtionally carried away and falling into his web of deceit. He opined that he had “reformed” and would not be the villanous politician we remembered. Well, he didn’t keep that pledge.

In a sense Naddy, he’s right! Was not our beloved POTUS democratically elected?!! But he also enjoyed the biased support of just about the whole news media. With the way politics are played these days, that is an unfair advantage. I believe that Barack was hand-picked so that when the far left tries to force their agenda down our throats (Pardon the pun!) they’d be able to play the race card. As far as us repenting and returning to God, I believe that it’s too late! The wheels have already been put into motion. These prophecies are being fulfilled because they’re supposed to be!!!

“They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were givien in marriage, until the day that No’e entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he that shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot’s wife.” – Luke 17:27-32

I am going to need to see proof of all this Mr. Livingston if you cannot produce it, then this article is nothing but a big lie cause when Mr. Romney said the same thing Mr. Gingrich at a debate quickly cleared it up and nothing more was said about it. So show me the proof Mr. Livingston if you do then thank you very much if not then i will no logger want anything to do with you.

Yes you’re right, my apologizes i had over looked them. But nether-the-less i can’t seem to rap my arms around Mr. Romney. He just reminds me of obama far to much. I personally wanted Mr. Perry and i find it kinda sad and pathetic that the American people wouldn’t give him a second look because of a few fumbles in a couple debates. So for me the only one left is Mr. Gingrich. In his interviews and debates he apologizes and asked for a second chance and well i believe him. And anyways i thought the main goal is to get obama out.

            Hi Laura,
Enjoying your openness here on the site. Just want to introduce myself. I’m one of those guys who served our country in Southeast Asia in 68′ and 69′. Like you, I’m trying to pick the best man to lead us. At first, I was strong for Newt, but have necessarily focused on him because I don’t want to screw things up. I have come to believe that our leader must be all pro-freedom or he is not for us. My dedicated attention to this has brought me to see that Newt has too many issues where he leans left and is thus anti-freedoms. Most all the world knows that the one issue that is paramount in this election is our 2nd amendment freedoms. Why? Because without the ability of the people to defend their freedoms, they will lose all of them. Forget the economic crisis. That will either get cured or get worse. If we allow these continued attacks on our basic, fundamental right to keep and bear arms, none of the other rights will matter. Once the evil doers have disarmed us, we become their subjects to do with as they please. They can round up those who complain and protest, and they will, and do with them as they please. This has happened in virtually every country where individual firearms freedoms have been lost. Newt Gingrich supports more gun control and has supported the National Firearms Registry Act which would require fingerprinting every gun owner and would restrict the number and kind of guns a person can own. This is absolutely the biggest infringement on our 2nd amendment ever perpetrated. Laura, I don’t know how you feel about guns and that really isn’t the important issue here. What is important is that the 2nd amendment was placed into our Bill of Rights by our founding fathers for a reason and if you understand that reason, you can not be anything other than for all of those rights or against all of those rights. We can not pick and choose which ones we want. All of them rely on the other and together, all of them, make up the most powerful document in this world. So, when Newt Gingrich tells me through his voting that he is against our 2nd amendment, he is anti-freedoms and that is all it takes to set me on a different course to find my next President. Hope you take this to heart and consider it. What Bob Livingston says about Ron Paul is accurate.

IT GOES ON AND ON BUT WE HAVE TO FACE WHAT IS TRUE AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE DO NOT GET OUR MINDS MADE UP TO CAN OBAMA. ROMNEY, GINGRICH, SANTORUM, PAUL AND ETC ETC AND WHEN YOU REALLY LOOK AT THE PROBLEM THERE IS ONLY ONE ANSWER NO MATTER WHO IS LYING OR WHAT HAVE YOU. THERE IS ONLY ONE CANDIDATE WHO QUALIFIES TO BEAT OBAMA. USING JUST COMMON SENSE, GINGRICH HAS TO BE THE ONE ON ONE QUALIFIER TO KNOCK OBAMA’S FANCY WORDS INTO A COCKED HAT. NONE OF THE OTHERS HAVE THE INTELLIGENCE TO KNOCK HIM OUT. SO YOUR HEARTFELT WISHES VOTING FOR SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS PERFECT WILL JUST GIVE A VOTE TO OBAMA. THEY DON’T HAVE A CHANCE.

I have listened to the debates and I have narrowed it down to two, and that is between Gingrich and Paul. I am scared of Ron Paul’s wanting to cut the military, we have a guy in office now that wants to and is doing that. I am still listening and will decide when the time comes, but so far Gingrich seems to have it. I don’t like Livingston calling him a liar.

Like the author, I am considered an ‘ultra-conservative’. What that means is I’m simply NOT going to play word games in support of ANY of the current politicos on the ‘degree’ of unprincipled acts they’ve perpetrated on our country for personal gain. They aren’t the citizen-statesmen of our founders ilk.

Bottom-Up strategy, beginning with those we CAN get to know at municipal, county and state levels, is what’s desparately needed. Though I’m afraid it may be too late, it shouldn’t stop us to apply Tim Cox’s – founder of GOOOH – grass roots approach to vet qualified, Constitutional conservatives, taking sworn oaths to apply Rule of Law in upholding the underlying principles of the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God to perform stated tasks for 1-2 terms before stepping down.

DA, HE ALREADY HAS, BUT OUR CRIMINAL LEFTIST MEDIA ARE EXCELLENT AT ONE REAL ABILITY: HIDING INFORMATION FROM THE PEOPLE– THE ONLY ENTITY CAPABLE OF PRESERVING THE REPUBLIC.

“THE ONLY SAFE REPOSITORY FOR THE FUNCTIONS OF GOVERNMENT IS WITH THE PEOPLE; AND IT IS NOT SAFE WITH THEM WITHOUT INFORMATION.” THOMAS JEFFERSON

THE FAILURES OF OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DURING THE PAST SEVERAL DECADES– MORE THAN ANY OTHER SINGLE FACTOR (INCLUDING, BARACK OBAMAS’ ELECTION)– RESULT FROM LEFTIST MEDIA LIES AND MISINFORMATION. IF THE LEFTIST MEDIA HAD VETTED OBAMA WITH EVEN 10% OF THE DEPTH OF ANY OF THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES FOR THE CURRENT NOMINATION– OBAMA WOULD STILL RESIDE IN CHICAGO.

OUR DECEITFUL LEFTIST “FOURTH ESTATE” ARE SIMPLY “FIFTH COLUMNISTS” REGARDING A CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICA. THE SOURCE OF AGONY IS NOT PRIMARILY IN THE CONGRESS, NOT THE SUPREME COURT BIAS–NOT EVEN OUR SOCIALIST PRESIDENT– FOR THE PRESENCE OF ALL OF THESE IS TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON THE INCOMPLETENESS AND INACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION FED TO THE VOTERS OF THIS AILING COUNTRY, WHICH HAS BEEN CRIMINALLY ABUNDANT FOR MUCH OF THE LAST FOUR TO FIVE DECADES.

THE JEFFERSON BRILLIANCE PLAINLY PERCEIVED OVER TWO HUNDRED YEARS AGO THAT THE SAFETY OF CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT WAS DEPENDENT UPON AN HONEST SOURCE OF VOTER KNOWLEDGE.

A RECENT PEW POLL INDICATED 72% OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, OF ALL POLITICAL PERSUASIONS, FIRMLY BELIEVE THE MAJORITY OF THE NATIONAL MEDIA ARE BIASED IN FAVOR OF LIBERAL DEMOCRATS. ONLY 8 PERCENT THOUGHT OTHERWISE, AND 20% “DID NOT KNOW.”

SHOULD NEWT GRINCH’S DEBATE, UNHEARD-OF STANDING APPLAUSE IN POINTING THIS OUT BE SURPRISING?

IS IT ANY WONDER THIS NATION SITS ON A NARROW EDGE OF ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL DESTRUCTION?

Washington D.C.’s original name was Rome, Maryland, and a branch of the Potomac River was called Tiber Creek, which was named after the Tiber river in Rome. Like Rome, Washington D.C. has 7 hills, whose names are: Capitol Hill, Meridian Hill, Floral Hills, Forest Hills, Hillbrook, Hillcrest, and Knox Hill.

When the Congress, at the session held in October, 1784, at Trenton, New Jersey, enacted that a board of three commissioners should lay out a site, between two and three miles square, on the Delaware for a federal city, to be the capital of the nation, Daniel Carroll was named with Thomas Johnson and David Stuart as his associates.

The choice of the present site of Washington was advocated by Carroll, and he owned one of the four farms taken for it, Notley Young, David Burns, and Samuel Davidson being the others interested.

The capitol was built on the land transferred to the Government by Carroll, and there is additional interest to Catholics in the fact that, in 1663, this whole section of country belonged to a man named Pope, who called it Rome. On 15 April, 1791, Carroll and David Stuart, as the official commissioners of Congress, laid the corner-stone of the District of Columbia at Jones’ Point near Alexandria, Virginia.

When the Congress met in Washington for the first time, in November, 1800, Carroll and Notley Young owned the only two really comfortable and imposing houses within the bounds of the city. Young’s name is among those assisting as collectors of subscriptions (1787) for the founding of Georgetown College.

The Jesuit bishop John Carroll was probably the richest man in America in the late 1700′s. Carroll allowed funding to construct D.C. (which is nicknamed “Rome on the Potomac”).

In December 1790, Maryland ceded land selected by President George Washington to the federal government for the creation of Washington, D.C. The land provided to Washington, D.C. is actually “sitting” inside the state of Maryland.

Papal Rome has always stated her intention to make America Catholic… “Our work is to make America Catholic… and our hearts shall leap toward it with crusader enthusiasm.” (Bishop Ireland, Baltimore Catholic Council, 1890)

With this in mind, the Jesuits successfully established the Federal Reserve Bank, using proxies as a front. Yes, the Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned. The BkofAma likewise is owned by the Jesuits.

In the USA a Protestant land – the majority of people in power are Roman Catholic. By 1994, in the US, the following had become reality:

    Congress: Majority Roman Catholic
    Supreme Court: Majority Roman Catholic
    President’s Cabinet: Majority Roman Catholic
Members of the Pentagon: Majority Roman Catholic.

Every US lawyer is now taught at a Jesuit-run law school or by Jesuit-trained teachers. The consequence is that judges now interpret ambiguous laws according to Catholic Canon Law and not British Common Law.

However, Roman Catholics are still only 26% minority in the American population. But on the south side is Mexico 90% Roman Catholic, and on the north side Canada 43% Roman Catholic. How could the process of making of America Catholic be hastened? Answered: Unite the three into one new nation.

Official numbers of the Roman Catholic majority in the US government, not counting the Vatican’s secret societies (Bohemian Grove members, CFR, et al)

These are double agents of the Vatican, a foreign state, serving the head of state, the pope.

Feigning honesty, loyalty and patriotic devotion to the Constitution, this White Devil is one of the ten most dangerous, Jesuitical politicians of the Pope’s “Holy Roman” Fourteenth Amendment, Cartel-Corporate-Fascist, Socialist-Communist American Empire.

To begin with, Newt is a traitor to the Protestant Reformation and, most importantly, to his Southern Baptist baptism-by-immersion and profession of faith in Christ while a graduate student.

He was inducted into the Jesuit Order’s Scottish-Rite Freemasonry later to become an oath-bound member and devotee of the highest of OPEN rites, the 33rd Degree. In addition to joining Rome’s Council on Foreign Relations, He also became a “worshiper” at the Order’s Bohemian Grove situated 70 miles north of the Company of Jesus’ University of San Francisco, its Jesuits ruling the city via Rome’s Archbishop of San Francisco. And finally, Newt recently converted to Roman Catholicism as a matter of pubic record, the despotic religion of his new wife.

But there is more. Masonic/Knight Templar “Brother Newt” has been an old friend of the three American Branches of the Sovereign Military Order of St. John of Jerusalem, the Knights of Malta. During his rise to political prominence, Newt Gingrich became the dear friend of Cartha D. DeLoach—a most devoted Knight of Malta! “Deke” had been third in command at 33rd Degree Freemason J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI during the Kennedy Assassination ordered by Jesuit Superior General Jean-Baptiste Janssens.

DeLoach protected Masonic President Lyndon Johnson from any probing questions that would arise from the Black Pope’s cover-up “Warren Investigation” managed by 33rd Degree Freemason Supreme Court Chief Justice Earl Warren. Yes, Cartha D. DeLoach is a co-conspirator in the murder of Knight of Columbus John F. Kennedy, “Deke” merely following orders from New York City Archbishop Francis Cardinal Spellman directed by his Jesuit advisers at Fordham University in the Bronx.

During the Reagan Administration, when the Knights of Malta openly ruled the White House via several known Knights, “Brother Newt” was a congressman and personal friend of the president. Gingrich was also an admirer and student of Reagan’s Secretary of State General Alexander Haig as well as CIA Director William J. Casey—both of whom were powerful Knights of Malta.

The ties of these Roman Catholic Knights to the Jesuits is obvious: Haig’s brother is the Jesuit Francis Haig, professor at Baltimore’s Loyola University Maryland, and Casey’s Jesuit masters were from his Alma Mater (“Virgin Mary”), Fordham University.

All of the above is extremely important if we are to understand the Pope’s Newt Gingrich. For he may be the last presidential “Commander-in-Chief of the “democratic” Socialist-Communist Fourteenth Amendment American Empire, intended to morph into a Jesuit-led, “New Right” Fascist Military Dictatorship—if Rome is to win the day.

The early political connections of “Brother Newt” Gingrich included powerful Knights of Malta, one of them being Cartha D. DeLoach, a co-conspirator in the assassination and cover-up murder of President John F. Kennedy. We can now understand why Roman Catholic Newt keeps the cover-up of the Archbishop of New York’s JFK assassination alive.

We can also understand why he said that anyone who believes 911 was an act perpetrated by the US government is “out of their mind.”

    Rothschild/Vatican Connection

Rothschild’s Servitude to the Vatican – Vatican owed it’s continued existence to the Rothschilds since 1849

“In the book, Hitler’s Pope, John Cornwall’s chronicles the life of Eugenio Pacelli, Pope Pius XII. Pacellli was arguably the most dangerous churchman in modern history.

In the first decade of the twentieth century, Pacelli was a brilliant Vatican lawyer who helped shape a new ideology of unprecedented papal power. As papal nuncio in Munich and Berlin in the 1920′s, he used cunning and moral blackmail to impose Rome’s power on Germany. In 1933, he negotiated a treaty with Hitler, the Reich Concordat, which ensured that the Nazis would rise unopposed by the most powerful Catholic community in the world.

How could Eugenio Pacelli possibly have gotten away with such cunning, especially since we know that he was in personal contact with the Rothschilds. Guy de Rothschild was his pen pal eight years before he became Pope. But wait… if Pacelli was Hitler’s Pope, and Hitler was a Rothschild… then he was Rothschild’s Pope!

How did Eugenio Pacelli become Rothschild’s Pope?

Eugenio Pacelli alias Pope PIUS XII Eugenio Pacelli was described routinely, during his pontificate and after his death, as a member of the Black Nobility. The Black Nobility were a small group of aristocratic families of Rome who had stood by the popes following the seizure of their dominions in the bitter struggle for the creation of the nation-state of Italy… Pacelli’s father and grandfather before him owed their distinction to membership of the caste of lay Vatican lawyers in the service of the papacy.

Pacelli’s immediate family association with the Holy See dates from 1819, when his grandfather, Marcantonio Pacelli, arrived in the Eternal City to study canon law, or Church law, as a protégé of a clerical uncle, Monsignor Prospero Caterini. By 1834 Marcantonio had become an advocate in the Tribunal of the Sacred Rota, an ecclesiastical court involved in such activities as marriage annulments. While raising ten children (his second child being Eugenio’s father, Filippo, born in 1837), Marcantonio became a key official in the service of Pius IX, popularly known as Pio Nono.

The quick tempered, charismatic, and epileptic Pio Nono (Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti), crowned in 1846, was convinced, as had been his predecessors from time immemorial, that the papal territories forming the midriff of the Italian peninsula ensured the independence of the successors to St. Peter. If the Supreme Pontiff were a mere inhabitant of a “foreign” country, how could he claim to be free of local influence? Three years after his coronation, it looked as if Pio Nono had ignominiously lost his sovereignty over the Eternal City to a republican mob.

On November 15, 1849, Count Pellegrino Rossi, a lay government minister of the papal states, famous for his biting sarcasm, approached the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome and greeted a sullen waiting crowd with a contemptuous smile. As he was about to enter the building, a man leapt forward and stabbed him fatally in the neck. The next day, the Pope’s Quirinal summer palace above the city was sacked, and Pio Nono, disguised in a priest’s simple cassock and a pair of large spectacles, fled to the seaside fortress of Gaeta within the safety of the neighboring kingdom of Naples.

He took with him Marcantonio Pacelli as his legal and political adviser. From this fastness, Pio Nono hurled denunciations against the “outrageous treason of democracy” and threatened prospective voters with excommunication. Only with the help of French bayonets, and a loan from the Rothschild’s, did Pio Nono contrive to return to the Vatican a year later to resume a despised reign over the city of Rome and what was left of the papal territories.

From this we see that the Vatican owed it’s existence to the Rothschild’s from this point on.

Just how rich and powerful is lord Evelyn Rothschild? Historically, the Rothschild family wealth was hidden in underground vaults. The Rothschild’s secret financial records are never audited and never accounted for. Their family commissioned biographies give the illusion that their family fortune has dwindled. But researchers estimate their wealth at close to 500 trillion dollars – more than half the wealth of the entire world.

Besides their many castles, palace mansions, wineries, race horses and exotic resorts, the Rothschild’s bought Routers in the 1800′s. Routers then bought the Associated Press, which selects and delivers the same new stories to the entire world, day after day. They have controlling interests in three major television networks and easily avoid media attention, since they own the media.

Until recently, they owned and operated England’s Royal Mint and continue to be the gold agent for the Bank of England, which they also direct. They control the LBMA – London Bullion Market Association, where 30 to 40 million ounces of gold, worth over 11 billion dollars are traded daily. The Rothschild’s earn millions weekly, just on transaction fees alone. They also fix the world price on gold on a daily basis and profit from its ups and downs.

Over the centuries, the Rothschild’s have amassed trillions of dollars worth of gold bullion in their subterranean vaults and have cornered the world’s gold supply. They own controlling interests in the worlds largest oil company Royal Dutch Shell. They operate phony charities and off-shore banking services where the wealth of the Vatican and black nobility is hidden in secret accounts at Rothschild Swiss banks, trusts and holding companies.

Although Evelyn Rothschild may seem like a harmless old man, make no mistake about it. Rothschild and his ancestors have hand-picked presidents, crashed stock markets, bankrupted nations, orchestrated wars and sponsored the mass murder and impoverishment of millions.

The wealth hoarded by this one family alone could feed, clothe and shelter every human being on Earth.

The pope became their most famous customer. The Catholic Church which had financed the wholesale slaughter, torture and looting of hundreds of thousands of Muslims during the Christian Crusades, were now doing business with the Demon Brothers.

By 1823 the Rothschilds were guardians of the entire papal treasure and took over the financial operations of the Catholic Church.

Enraged citizens accused the Rothschilds of trying to control the world’s money markets. Fearing for their lives, the Rothschilds retreated into the shadows and cast their eyes on the youthful USA.

To avoid publicity, the Rothschilds made themselves invisible by creating and hiding behind two front companies. J P Morgan and Kuhn and Loeb.

By 1906 J P Morgan’s bank controlled 1/3 of America’s railways and over 70% of the steel industry. He eventually had a major stake in the 20th. century’s major companies. Among them ATNT, ITT, General Electric, General Motors and Du Pont.

    The Opium trade with China.

The Rothschilds bought controlling interests in British East India Shipping Company and the illegal Opium trade with China. They offered junior partnerships to New England’s leading American families.

The Russell, Coolidge, DeLeino, Forbes and Perkins families became fabulously rich smuggling Opium aboard their speedy Clipper ships into China. In 1820 Samuel Russell bought out the Perkins syndicate and ran the Opium smuggling operation with his partner Warren DeLeino Jr. who was the grandfather of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Britain had finally found a commodity that China would take – Opium. Imported from India, just a few chests at first, and then thousands. When the Chinese authorities tried to stop the Opium trade, the British sent in their Gunboats. After nearly 20 years of turmoil the treaty of Tien-Tsin in 1858 not only allowed Opium to be imported, but handed over China’s ports and all her International trade to Western control.

After the war, Opium poured into China on an even greater scale and her Emperors were powerless to stop it.

In 1842, the British stole Hong Kong from China in an Opium drug-deal called the treaty of Nanking. The Russell family who controlled the US arm of the Rothschild drug smuggling operation, set up the Skull and Bones fraternity at Yale University. America’s big money families formed the fraternity’s inner power circle. Taft, Russell, Schiff, Haremon, Bush, Warburg, Guggenheim, Rockefeller, Stemson, Weighouser, Vanderbilt, Goodyear and Pillsbury were all members.

These families intermarried over the generations to form America’s big money aristocracy. Skull and bones member Alfonso Taft catapulted his son William Taft right into the top job at the White House. President Taft’s 17th. Amendment to the US Constitution guaranteed the right of big-money insiders to hand-pick Senators and buy control of the US Senate. Today, the most influential members of the CIA, the US Government, and big finance are Skull and Bones men.

The Hollywood movie lots are owned by the Illuminati Lehman brothers, Rothschild agent Kuhn and Loeb and Goldman Sacks.

Newt Gingrich has won the South Carolina Primary, beating out fellow establishment candidates Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum as well as the only real conservative Dr. Ron Paul.

Gingrich, despite widespread allegations of misconduct from multiple ex wives, somehow won in a state that bills itself as one of the most conservative in the nation.

How this happened remains a mystery with many questioning how Gingrich could place 1st in the primary while Paul placed 4th when primaries are mostly based off of voter enthusiasm at the time that the vote is cast and many reports prior to the primary indicated that Paul and even the other establishment puppets had much more support than Gingrich just days before the primary.

Eric Blair, writing for Activist Post, asked this very question:

Okay. It’s time somebody says it. Something seems very strange about the GOP primary pre-polling and vote thus far. As a Ron Paul fan, I didn’t want to seem like a sore loser after the odd Iowa result where the failed no-name Senator, Rick Santorum, was catapulted to victory with very little tangible support.
But now, how on earth could Newt Gingrich win the South Carolina primary when the day before the vote he had to cancel a major campaign stop because of lack of attendance?

Primary elections are traditionally driven by enthusiasm. In other words, the average voter does not turn out for primaries unless they are motivated by a certain candidate. So, could someone please explain to me how Newt Gingrich, who has virtually no ground game, no money, and no fervent supporters, just won the South Carolina primary?

Some within South Carolina have expressed their disgust with tonight’s outcome including Travis McCauley, who is an activist and radio host in his own right. After hearing the results of tonight’s primary Travis posted a video blog apologizing to the world for South Carolina’s insane choice for president.

The fact that ANY state would actually choose Newt Gingrich over Ron Paul in a major primary just goes to show how much trouble this country is actually in. Taking even a small look at Gingrich’s record reveals a startling plethora of corruption throughout his destructive (to the American people) career.

Gingrich was and most likely is, although secretly, a strong supporter of carbon taxes and the idea that carbon is the cause of global warming. He even went as far as to do a commercial with Democrat Nancy Pelosi which was a strategically placed propaganda piece to put forward the idea that global warming is such a danger that it has bipartisan support.

In the late 1990s Gingrich was the center of a major FBI investigation that involved a reported attempt to bribe a major arms dealer, who himself was a FBI informant, for at least 10 million dollars.

DCBureau.org recently released a groundbreaking investigative report on the scandal which revealed that Gingrich was on his way to being taken down by the FBI investigation until infamous cover up artist and then head of the FBI Louis Freeh stepped in and killed the case.

DCBureau has learned that Gingrich was at the center of a U.S. Justice Department criminal investigation in the late 1990s for a scheme to shake down the arms dealer for a $10 million bribe in exchange for Gingrich using his influence as Speaker to get the Iraq arms embargo lifted so Soghanalian could collect $54 million from Saddam Hussein’s regime for weapons he had delivered during the Iran-Iraq War.

Any candidate who hates Israel, loves Iran, and would soak our children’s environment with demonic cocaine, heroin, and worse–is not a biblical Christian– not a “conservative”– and not an authentic Constitutional American.

I firmly agree with one prime plank in Paul’s platform:

Get out our military out of Islamic nations– helping them conform to democracy is the labor of misguided and MINDLESS LOGIC. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT OUR GOVERNMENTAL PRINCIPLES– THE WANT OUR MONEY!!! THEY WANT THE SACRIFICE OF OUR PRECIOUS YOUTH TO TAKE TURNS IN AIDING ONE TRIBE TO TO MURDER ANOTHER!!!

WE SHOULD NOT SACRIFICE 10 OF OUR YOUTH TO “SAVE” ANY ISLAMIC REGIME. LOOK AT IRAQ, OUR TROOPS CANNOT GET OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE THE CIVIL WARS BEGIN AGAIN. LOOK AT LIBYA, OUR TAX PAYERS WERE MADE TO PROVIDE ARMAMENTS REQUIRED TO REPLACE ONE ISLAMIC DICTATOR WITH ANOTHER ANOTHER GANG OF ISLAMIC TERRORISTS.

Can we never learn from our stupid mistakes?

If Paul should be the Republican nominee, will I vote for him???

In less than a New York second!!!

With all of our differences— Paul is INFINITELY superior to Doctor Deceit, now shoveling shame and other substances on the office of the American Presidency.

Barack Obama is the most dangerous man to ever occupy our office of Chief Executive. This man is dedicated to the destruction of this Republic–to the applause of the International Marxist One World Dictators.

Why else would he tell his union bosses to take a hike over the Canadian Pipeline ??? For an even smaller bunch of hyper-environmentalist??? Absurd!! But, for those foreign anti-American One Worlders— his only possible source of his fantasized One-Billion election purse–they fear an oil independent America much more than they fear waking up with their beds overflowing with king cobras.

But, that violates federal law, you say.

Do you really think Barack Obama gives a damn? He spits on the Constitution every day. Doctor Deceit’s specialty is hiding political crime.

Any candidate who hates Israel, loves Iran, and would soak our children’s environment with demonic cocaine, heroin, and worse–is not a biblical Christian– not a “conservative”– and not an authentic Constitutional American.

RESPONSE: According to your argument then, the only way a candidate can show proof that he loves Israel, is a biblical Christian, and a authentic, Constitutionalist American, is by obliterating Iran, and slaughtering millions of its people? Are you aware, that Israel has more then enough fire-power(nuclear), to obliterate the United States? Are you aware, that Iran, has yet to produce ONE? I think its safe to assume that Israel is more then capable of defending herself against an unarmed opponent! You have obviously been marinating in Zionist propaganda!

The God of the bible has PROMISED to bless them that bless thee (Israel) and curse them that curse thee; (Curse: to murder them as Hitler, or abandon them as Ron Paul– when they are surrounded by one- billion, two-hundred-million, bloodthirsty, primitive, quasi-human terrorists led by the Prime Murder Minister of Iran.

RESPONSE: Yes, i’m well aware of that portion of Scripture. But the blood of Abraham flows through the veins of Ishmael, as well as Jacob! You need to become aware-of, and reconsider, your programmed partiality. If you are comparing Ron Paul to Hitler, shame on you!

As to your comment:when they are surrounded by one- billion, two-hundred-million, bloodthirsty, primitive, quasi-human terrorists led by the Prime Murder Minister of Iran. You sir, are a racist!

Paul is a political radical who has no more chance of becoming president of the USA than Donald Duck.
RESPONSE: Donald Duck would be preferable to Newt!

There are simply not enough knowledge impoverished Americans to cause such a tragedy for America.
RESPONSE: You could conversely state; there is simply to many knowledge, impoverished Americans who have no-clue, that a vote for Newt, will seal, America’s destruction!

I firmly agree with one prime plank in Paul’s platform:
Get out our military out of Islamic nations– helping them conform to democracy is the labor of misguided and MINDLESS LOGIC.
RESPONSE: Agreed! I wound’t wish Western-style democracy, on anyone!

THESE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT OUR GOVERNMENTAL PRINCIPLES.
RESPONSE: Can you blame them? Who the hell does?

THE WANT OUR MONEY!!! THEY WANT THE SACRIFICE OF OUR PRECIOUS YOUTH TO TAKE TURNS IN AIDING ONE TRIBE TO TO MURDER ANOTHER!!!
Response: Hogwash! It is we, who want their resources! And we are willing to sacrifice our precious youth to get it!

RESPONSE: I just realized something, Raymond; You’re crazy!

Can we never learn from our stupid mistakes?
RESPONSE: Based on our history, It appears not!

If Paul should be the Republican nominee, will I vote for him???

In less than a New York second!!!
        RESPONSE: Good for you!

With all of our differences— Paul is INFINITELY superior to Doctor Deceit, now shoveling shame and other substances on the office of the American Presidency.
RESPONSE: You shouldn’t compare Ron Paul to, you know who. Btw, you did mean Obama?

Barack Obama is the most dangerous man to ever occupy our office of Chief Executive. This man is dedicated to the destruction of this Republic–to the applause of the International Marxist One World Dictators.
RESPONSE: Wrong! The system, and the people who conspired, and assisted, knowing, or unknowingly, are dangerous. Obama is only one man, and only, a man!

Coach Joe Paterno and ex-FBI Director Louis Freeh are linked to the Knights of Columbus, part of the Jesuit Opus Dei complex, and the object of many child sex abuse complaints.

Louis Freeh’s appointment to investigate Penn State suggests a cover-up.

Opus Dei and the Knights of Columbus are both related to the Jesuit Order. The Supreme Knight of Columbus, Carl Anderson, is high up in Opus Dei.

According to Robert Hutchison on pg. 429 of his book ,Their Kingdom Come: Inside the Secret World of Opus Dei,

“Amongst the other dignitaries at the Opus Dei Founder’s canonization to Sainthood was,” Dr Carl A. Anderson, the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus and senior American member of Opus Dei.”

On Monday, Penn State NAMED FORMER FBI DIRECTOR LOUIS FREEH TO investigate the university’s role in the sex abuse scandal. “We will immediately report any evidence of criminality to law enforcement authorities,” said Freeh, who has no connection to Penn State.”

Although Opus Dei is known to deny membership information when questioned, LOUIS FREEH ATTENDED ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA OPUS DEI PARISH AS DID THE INFAMOUS CONVICTED SPY ROBERT HANSSEN WHO WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE FBI AND OPUS DEI.

“Opus Dei denies that Freeh, Scalia and Thomas are members, though Freeh sends his son to the Opus Dei School, The Heights, and Scalia’s wife is reported to regularly attend Opus Dei functions. Robert Hanssen, Justice Scalia and Louis Freeh also all worship at St. Catherine of Siena parish in Great Falls, Virginia,….”

Since Anderson heads the Knights of Columbus and is tied to Opus Dei as is Louis Freeh, just how deep does this story really go?

Speaking about the Knights of Columbus and their financial support of the clerical pederast deceit, Thomas Doyle, who is recognized as the most experienced canon lawyer in the area of clerical sexual abuse concludes:

“They have supported priests and bishops in their moral bankruptcy and in their destruction of the bodies and souls of the victims of abuse. ”

Attempting to connect Gingrich to any Catholic conspiracy, with our without the Knights of Columbus– must explain why, that during the “period of investigation”, and several years afterward, Newt Gingrich was a Southern Baptist, with his membership at the Carrollton, GA First Baptist Church. Neither the Roman Church nor the Knights had kindred reasons to provide wiggle room for Newt.

      • Jay

Raymond says: Attempting to connect Gingrich to any Catholic conspiracy, with our without the Knights of Columbus– must explain why, that during the “period of investigation”, and several years afterward, Newt Gingrich was a Southern Baptist, with his membership at the Carrollton, GA First Baptist Church. Neither the Roman Church nor the Knights had kindred reasons to provide wiggle room for Newt.

Response: Raymond, Do you suffer from reading comprehension? You are responding to an article who’s aim was to bring to light the Vatican’s protracted, and pernicious influence in American domestic/foreign policies, and that, through various American organizations/individuals, and that Newt is observed, interacting, and rubbing shoulders with the likes. Please re-read the article, perhaps then you will note, that the article at no time, denies Newt’s membership at the Carrollton, GA First Baptist Church. Newt’s conversion to Catholicism was noted, and registered, in 2009.

Any discussion of Newt Gingrich’s journey to Catholicism begins with his wife.

“I have always been a very spiritual person,” Callista Gingrich told the Christian Broadcasting Network this year. “I start each day with a prayer, and pray throughout the day, because I am grateful for the many blessings that God has bestowed upon us.”

Mrs. Gingrich, who is Newt Gingrich’s third wife, is a devout Catholic who sings in the professional choir at the the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. After they married in 2000, Gingrich began attending Mass practically every week to watch her perform.

“And I was doing that as a supportive husband, and it sort of caught up with me in a way I could never imagine,” Gingrich told the Catholic TV network EWTN.

Gingrich didn’t convert to Catholicism in a sudden swell of emotion. Rather, it seemed a slower and headier process. Like many adult converts, Gingrich was drawn by the philosophical richness of the Roman Catholic Church.

“Let’s not forget this is a Ph.D., a former professor, a man who loves books and loves big ideas, and there is of course a very deep intellectual tradition within Catholicism,” says Mark Rozell, a political scientist at George Mason University. “And perhaps Gingrich found a natural connection there. It connects with his persona.”

Gingrich began studying the history of the Catholic Church and its influence on Western civilization, especially the church’s role in the fall of communism. In 2010, Newt and Callista Gingrich produced a documentary about Pope John Paul II’s historic trip to Poland. But for Gingrich, the turning point was Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to the U.S. in 2008.

“The joyful and radiating presence of the Holy Father was a moment of confirmation of the many things I had been thinking and experiencing over the last several years,” Gingrich said at a Catholic prayer breakfast this year.

That evening, Gingrich told Monsignor Walter Rossi, the rector at the basillica, that he wanted to be received into the church. He was confirmed on March 29, 2009. He says that conversion made him a different man.

The following is from the May, 1994 issue of Charisma Magazine:

‘Stunned by the staggering growth of evangelical “sects” in Brazil, leaders of the Roman Catholic
Church have threatened to launch a “holy war” against Protestants unless they stop leading people from the Catholic fold.… At the 31st National Conference of the Bishops of Brazil …

Bishop Sinesio Bohn [called] evangelicals a serious threat to the Vatican’s influence in his country. “We will declare a holy war; don’t doubt it,’ he announced. ‘The Catholic Church has a ponderous structure, but when we move, we’ll smash anyone beneath us.’ … According to Bohn, an all-out holy war can’t be avoided unless the 13 largest Protestant churches and denominations sign a treaty … [that] would require Protestants to stop all evangelism efforts in Brazil. In exchange, he said, Catholics would agree to stop all persecution directed toward Protestants.’ ”
            —————————————————————————————-
Very interesting, eh? So this bishop admits that the persecution of Protestants is still official Catholic policy. The beast still has teeth, eh? But right now they are “baby teeth”, expect them to grow!
Their prime concern isn’t to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus, but rather to maintain their ascendancy and influence in the region and to keep Brazilians in the Catholic Church.

Just a couple of months prior, Evangelicals and Catholics pledged to support eachtother and work together. The ECT document was signed at that time. In the U.S., Protestants and Catholics are shaking hands. In Brazil, the Catholic Church shook their iron fist and laid down the law! See how well the RCC adapts and suites herself to differing climates?

If the RCC were to gain that kind of clout here in the U.S., she would act in like manner as she did in Brazil. And “bye bye” to religious freedom as we know it. No question about it. Rome is only interested in one thing and one thing only. And that is the restoration of the power and primacy that they enjoyed prior to 201 years ago, when the French took the Pope captive in 1798 and struck a “deadly wound” to the Papacy’s temporal power.

If anyone has “ears to hear” and “eyes to see”, then they will escape the snare that is surely coming upon us. God help us all to be ready.

So what you’re saying is that; Protestant missionaries went into Brazil, not to spread the Gospel, but to incite the people against the papal church, and to spread, inflammatory, and anti-Catholic propaganda. Is that what you are trying to say? But, could the Bishop’s mis-leading-statement, have been a statement, that in essence, expressed his annoyance, that, Catholics in Brazil, were now being saved/converted, and as a result, were becoming aware that they had been duped, and further resulted in a mass Exodus out of the clutches of the RCC? (Bad for business, you know)And, in addition, having now discovered a new freedom in Christ, would naturally express negative sentiments towards the Papacy, or the RCC? I say all this, in light of my conviction, that the Catholic religion/church, is a corrupt, and despotic religion, who’s only purpose is not, to bring people to Christ, so as to be forgiven, and set free, but to hold people captive, and damn them to hell.

Do you wish to discuss Catholicism’s doctrine, and how it diverts people away from Christ/Gospel, lib, let me know.

Islam- “The sword of the Roman Papacy”.

Islam is a creation of the “Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth”—the Roman Papacy centered in the City that rules all the nations of the earth, the City that sits on the Seven Hills (Revelation 17:9, 18).

Shortly after the Roman Papal Caesar was given his Universal Spiritual Power by the wicked Emperor Phocas of Constantinople in AD 606 the religion of Islam was created.  And why?  To blind the Arab peoples to the blessed gospel of the risen Lord Jesus Christ while using these “wild men” to kill the foremost enemies of the pope.

Those targeted enemies were the true, born-again, Bible-believing Christians of the Eastern Roman Empire and the racial Jews of Arabia and North Africa yet to inherit the promises given to the fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—not Abraham, Ishmael and Esau!.

Today, the Jesuit Papacy could not be happier with her Satanically blinded and hatefully bigoted followers of the false prophet Muhammad who denied that Jesus of Nazareth was the Son of God!

During the pope’s total victory of the Twentieth Century, Islam was used to murder millions of Christian Orthodox Russians, Christian Orthodox Armenians, Christian Orthodox Serbs, Christian Orthodox Assyrians, racial and religious Jews, Protestant Lutherans, Baptist and Protestant missionaries and their converts in Muslim lands, as well as Muslims differing in their own Muslim faiths.  In fact, the biggest killer of the racial Arabic peoples has been—not Roman Catholicism but—Islam!

Yes, the Jesuit Papacy knows that the only two racial peoples in the world with racial promises yet to be fulfilled by God (Isaiah 19:25) are the Hebrew/Jewish/Israelites and—the Arabs!

Thus, we are not surprised at the cry of Jesuit henchman Francis Xavier when he declared:
“Put me some place where there are no Jews or Moslems.”

Only a simple bit of research of history about the Papacy of ROME is necessary in order to identify & confirm its fulfillment over the last 1700 years of being the Bible’s False Prophet & rising 2nd BEAST of Revelation 13:11. Also, Revelation’s foresight was pinpoint accurate in that the murderous rampage of Nero of ROME [54AD - 68AD] has been dwarfed by the magnitude of the subsequent centuries of a global killing spree [from 300's AD through mid-1800's] by the ‘rising’ beastly religious leaders of ROME.

Without question, the Papacy is the foretold False Prophet, Revelation’s sole evil figure, having risen from the 4th century when the concept of the Papacy was invented & grown into its final End Time global status today. As Revelation & Daniel predicted, no other evil religious icon & phoney religious system, except the Popes of Rome, has cloaked itself with a longer lasting and more deceptive ‘Christian’ mask in readiness for its End Time fulfillment in today’s generation.

No Jay, that’s not what I’m saying. You have a problem with some things that no discussion could fix. Kind of like dealing with Rob Smith. WAR ON HERESY?

The Extreme Oath Of The Jesuits urges people to kill heretics and destroy heretic governments. Is the Iraq war a war on terror or a war on heresy? Look at who is controlling this 9/11 war..

Less than a month after 9/11, a new Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was selected. It was Peter Pace, who was Roman Catholic, Jesuit-trained, and a recipent of the John Carroll Award

David Petraeus, commander of all the multinational military forces in Iraq, was Jesuit-trained at Georgetown University.

Robert Gates, the former secretary of defense, was Jesuit-trained at Georgetown University.

Donald Rumsfeld, former secretary of defense, attended the Jesuit Georgetown University.

Current chief of staff for the US army and former commander of all the multinational military forces in Iraq, George Casey, was Jesuit-trained at Georgetown University

Blackwater, a private mercenary contractor that was hired to be in Iraq, is a Jesuit-controlled organization.

    WAR ON FREEDOM?

The most notorious post-9/11 legislation is the PATRIOT act. Some researchers suspect that at least some of this massive document was written prior to 9/11, seeing as it was amazingly presented by Bush only 11 days after 9/11. Guess who the chief architect of the PATRIOT act was? Viet Dinh, a law professor at the Jesuit Georgetown University.

Another big post-9/11 strike against freedom was the formation of the Orwellian Department of Homeland Security. The real position of power in the DHS is the Head of Intelligence. John C. Gannon is the DHS Head of Intelligence. Amazingly, there is no Wikipedia page on him. Homeland Security’s bio on him admits that he was trained at a Roman Cathollic university.

Under Secretary of Homeland Security, Emilio T. Gonzalez, is a Knight of Malta.

Established in 1789, Georgetown is the nation’s oldest Catholic and Jesuit university.

The seal of Georgetown University bears the founding date, 1789, and the university motto “Utraque Unum” (both into one) and the Latin inscription Collegium Georgiopolatanum Ad Ripas Potomaci in Marylandia, which means “Georgetown College on the Banks of the Potomac in Maryland.”

Jay– does this mean that if we are anti-Semites we should also be anti-Catholic? Divided, we are conquered.

Response: anti-semite? To whom are you referring? And what do you mean by anti-semite?
As to your anti-Catholic innuendo; are you of the opinion, that, if an American criticizes American-foreign-policy, the individual(s) is anti-American?

Does it bother you that while your concentrating on which Americans to put down.
Response: Which Americans are you referring to?

Obama is working on your demise as a free American??
Response: Not exactly a revelation, you must be new here!

Why don’t you exhaust your energy in the effort to stop him??
Response: Again, you must be new here!

“…to you hate your brother, is to murder him in your heart…” –Jesus
Response: Who are my brothers? Might i have some, brothers in Iran?

WASHINGTON, DC–(Marketwire -10/20/11)- Ronald Reagan’s decision to appoint the first US Ambassador to the Holy See will be honored by a Reagan Centennial Academic Symposium at Georgetown University on October 25.

The Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, D.C., two Former U.S. Ambassadors to the Holy See, the Dean of Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, the author of “The President, the Pope, and the Prime Minister” and leadership from the Institute of Religion and Public Policy will examine and discuss how Vatican diplomacy has evolved into a critical component of US-global diplomacy.

    Participants Include:

John J. DeGioia, President, Georgetown University

Fred Ryan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation

John O’Sullivan, author of “The President, the Pope, and the Prime Minister”; former speechwriter for Margaret Thatcher; and currently the Executive Director of Radio Free Europe

Cardinal Theodore E. McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, D.C.

    R. James Nicholson, Former US Ambassador to the Holy See and Secretary of Veterans Affairs

    L. Francis Rooney III, Former US Ambassador to the Holy See

Carol Lancaster, Dean, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service

Joe Grieboski, Founder and Chairman, The Institute on Religion and Public Policy

“What a remarkable tribute to the life and legacy of President Reagan to have such a distinguished panel gathered today,” said Executive Director of the Ronald Reagan Centennial Celebration Stewart McLaurin.
“The seed which Ronald Reagan sowed by appointing the first U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See has grown into one of America’s most important diplomatic relationships.”

Through sharing examples from their own experience, the panelists will explore how the role of U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See has changed over the years. The moderator, Georgetown School of Foreign Service Dean Carol Lancaster, will focus on key moments in U.S.-Vatican diplomacy. Overcoming these tensions, and others, is an important part of how this historic role has evolved from the time when President Reagan appointed the first U.S. Ambassador to the present.

“President Reagan not only forged a strong personal relationship with His Holiness John Paul II, but also an important diplomatic synergy between the United States and the Holy See,” said Cardinal Theodore E. McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, D.C. “Today’s program honoring President Reagan in his Centennial year highlights the relationship between the Holy See and the United States and the diplomatic role and reach of American and Vatican diplomacy.”

I have been receiving Bob’s emails for awhile but just discovered this site. I am gratified to find another from SC (Bob L.) who is Not a Newt-ite! Newt is the most dangerous of the 4 on the stage and therefore may get the nomination. With his ties to the Jesuits and Masons, he may even get the nomination. There is another OP-Dei on the stage–Rom Santorum sends his children to their school in DC.

What concerns me is that Newt is by far the least conservative on the stage, and yet he gets away with promoting himself as the most conservative. He is the puffed up, narcissist who plays to the audience for his own ego even when his facts, including history, are skewed. Has he promised his congressional aide mistress during the Impeachment, Monica’s age, the White House as First Lady? Of course, he was too busy with her and colluding with Bill and Hillary to file the 3 most serious charges against Bill in the Impeachment indictment so now we live with their legacy. Michele Bachman emailed documents proving Newt’s support of candidates favorable to partial birth abortion, and she was the eyewitness to his “influence peddling” or lobbying on Capital Hill.

Newt’s ethic violations were valid when they were filed. He had to deal with them before they were dropped. For instance, he had to give back the 4 million book advance and finally file the long overdue tax exempt papers to the IRS so they could be sure that the funds used for the course were really tax exempt, etc. His mental or emotional problem is that he considers himself above the rule of law that everyone else is subjected to including marriage laws. He had worked to oust Speaker Jim Wright for a book deal just like the one he accepted. The IRS continually said that he KNEW he had to file the paperwork. Anyone else would have gone to jail! He thinks that he can call himself a Reagan clone and conservative and people will believe it. I am just “floored” that evangelicals did believe him. I think it was the influence of constant support by conservative radio talk show hosts that made the difference in SC. Actually, he is a phony conservative and crony capitalist with his millions peddling for Freddie and drug companies. Tom Coburn called him the most despicable man in America. Dick Armey (now FreedomWorks) said recently that Newt lacks the leadership skills to be president (repeated by Santorum) and that Newt smoked cigars, drank liquor, and swapped mistress stories with Bill C. before and during the Impeachment.

Along with the extravagant Tiffany spending and multiple marriages, he just doesn’t seem to live in reality for himself and others. The Media is protecting his obvious need of a mental and emotional checkup before he would be qualified to have a finger on nuclear weapons. His mother did have an inherited illness.

There is more and more. But, definitely for the reasons stated by others above and here, he should not be judged qualified by any Party to be a President of the United States of America. For all these reasons, the Democrats would really, really like to face him and they know even more unvetted dirt.

I am hardly surprised that a pro-Ron Paul publication would be negative on Newt, but this time, you all have really sunk to a new low. There are so many lies and mis-representations in the article that it would almost warrent a Ph.D. dissertation to refute.

In short form, “Gingrich has supported cap and trade, individual mandates, bailouts, TARP and gun control. ” All of this is not true. The only reason why he supported the mandate on medical care in the mid-1990s was to refute Hilary Care, not because it was a serious policy proposal. Just to give you an idea how ludicrous your position is, just imaging in 2030, someone holding Congressman Ryan responsible for attempting to bankrupt the nation for coating the moon in yogurt as a fiscal policy. … and then rolling the speech he made in Congress last spring on that very issue. Now, in no serious way did Congressman Ryan intend for the US to coat the moon in yogurt; it was a statement regarding how ludicrous the whole budget cutting process was. That is how the individual mandate started. The fact that Heritage funded it (as a way to fend off Hilary care) and that Romney actually did it, is not Gingrich’s fault. Indeed, he was flabbergasted that someone would think it was a serious policy proposal.

As far as the others, you can go to NEWT,ORG and find his current views, as well as his past views… and get information on his past views. The wonderful thing about youtube… the information is all out there.

North Alaskan Girl– I share your concern on the deceit and gross misinformation among many here.

But you and I must understand that many of these people are compelled to compare Ron Paul with Newt Gingrich.

Misinformation and fabrication are the ONLY weapons they have.

I have know Newt for 42 years– I’m sensitive to the trash that I personally to be empty lies–most propagated by Obama fiends and made available to some of these through the media.

I would be more surprised if Newt’s foes did not lie.
They have no other effective means–they use what is available.

    • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

      Dear RAYMOND HARBIN,

I will give you the same challenge I have given to others whose response has been simply: You lie. Show me an inaccuracy and I will correct it. None have, and in fact, I’ve documented all of the facts I presented with news stories or video clips.

      Best wishes,
      Bob

      • Jim Vaughn

The lie is that you take a candidate’s words and then call them lies based on his past performance. While this might be telling of something they are not lies.
Newt said he met Reagan in 1974 and worked with Kemp and Laffer. If those statements are lies than say so but don’t call them lies to support your dislike of a candidates past performance. It is a media trick and you are proving your self to be a card carrying member of the 4th estate. Shame

        • http://www.boblivingstonletter.com/ Bob Livingston

          Dear Jim Vaughn,

When someone says something with the intent to deceive, that is a lie. During the debate, Gingrich said he met with Goldwater. He may have. The way he said it indicated he was trying to prove he was a part of the Goldwater/Reagan faction of the Republican Party. However, in the video he said he was a state chairman for Rockefeller, who vehemently opposed Goldwater and Reagan. So, was he a Goldwater/Reagan Republican or a Rockefeller Republican. You can’t be both.

          Best wishes,
          Bob

In 1995, when Newt Gingrich first became speaker of the House, Bob Dole was already on the threshold of becoming the longest-serving Senate Republican leader in U.S. history. Relations between the two GOP leaders, which were never chummy, were not helped by Gingrich’s openly disparaging Bob Dole as “the tax collector for the welfare state.”

Barely two years later, after having been chosen Time magazine’s Man of the Year, Gingrich had plummeted in public esteem to where, in a CBS-New York Times poll, just 14 percent of voters had favorable personal feelings toward the speaker.

This prompted an apocryphal Washington exchange between a perplexed Gingrich and Dole. “Why do people take such an instant dislike to me?” asked a perplexed Gingrich, to whom Dole bluntly explained: “Because it saves them time.”

Watching the last televised candidates debate before the Jan. 3 Iowa presidential caucuses, and hearing Newt Gingrich once again invoke the name and record of President Ronald Reagan as well as his own close relationship with Reagan, reminded me that Dole wasn’t the only one on the receiving end of Gingrich’s barbs.

At the Reagan presidential library this fall, Gingrich boasted of how “I helped Reagan create millions of jobs while he was president.” And after modestly acknowledging his own less significant role than Reagan’s, added, “We helped defeat the Soviet empire.” Unmentioned by Gingrich then, or in any of the 2,414 debates during this campaign, was his 1985 criticism of President Reagan’s historic meeting with Mikhail Gorbachev as “the most dangerous summit for the West since Adolf Hitler met with (British Prime Minister) Chamberlain at Munich in 1938.”

In an interview on CNBC, Gingrich recently emphasized his close identification with the nation’s 40th president: “I’ve done a movie on Ronald Reagan called ‘Rendezvous With Destiny.’ Callista and I did.
“We’ve done a book on Ronald Reagan. You know I campaigned with Reagan. I first met Reagan in ’74. I’m very happy to talk about Ronald Reagan.”

Just like when Newt went to the House floor during the Gipper’s second White House term and declared the president’s Soviet policy a “failure.” Here is what Gingrich said: “Measured against the scale and momentum of the Soviet empire’s challenge, the Reagan administration has failed, is failing and without a dramatic, fundamental change in strategy will continue to fail. … The burden of the failure frankly must be placed first upon President Reagan.”

This was after Gingrich, as reported in the Congressional Record, had found Reagan responsible for our national “decay”: “Beyond the obvious indicators of decay, the fact is that President Reagan has lost control of the national agenda.” Students of Newt-speak will recognize that by “decay,” Gingrich was generally referring to factors such as crime, illegitimate births and illiteracy.

These blatant contradictions between what Congressman Gingrich actually said at the time about President Reagan and what Candidate Gingrich now offers as fictitious reminiscences of his unwavering allegiance to Reagan remind me of one of the former speaker’s own broadsides against Washington, D.C. “In this cold and ruthless city,” he once said, “the center of hypocrisy is Capitol Hill.” Newt Gingrich is quite obviously an expert on both subjects.

Bob, show me a lie, as you say, and I will bow to your judgement.

But I will not bow to Obama-like fabrication; I will not be bludgeoned by pretense or liberal Democrat political mythology thrown out as conservative truth. I am not an uneducated, fawning child, fearful of the bark of feral political packs.

(4) Glaciation and Peri-glaciation Geology. I TAUGHT IN WELL-KNOWN EASTERN UNIVERSITIES WHILE BUILDING A LARGE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS–OPERATING IT FOR 46 YEARS.

I feel guilty for trading barbs with Jay, not simply because his penchant for bias is morally wrong, but his positions are so infinitely childish–I is as though I am picking on a defenseless child.

Ron Paul’ s political fantasies on Israel and legalization of PROSTITUTION, COCAINE and HEROIN ARE MANIFESTLY ANTICHRISTIAN, ARCHAIC AND, IN MANY WAYS ANARCHISTIC.

He is not for the legalization of these drugs, or of prostitution as you say. To say that he is “for” them would mean that he would support or advocate for it. He has simply said these are not federal issues, but state issues, which is the correct position if you believe in the Constitution and limited government. They are also areas of personal responsibility. Government cannot legislate morality, and laws against these things have failed miserably and have only served to create a black market, rich drug dealers, violent drug wars, an enormous prison population and a very expensive, failed war on drugs.

When you choose to be intellectually honest and study Dr. Paul’s positions, we can engage in a discussion on the merits of the positions. Until then, I am done with you. And I will not respond to any more of your posts made in ALL CAPS!

            Best wishes,
            Bob

Obummer MUST leave the Whitehouse, and go back to his beloved Chicago. I think, I am left with PAUL, at least to PRESERVE OUR RIGHTS!

REPLY IN RESPONSE TO BOB LIVINGSTON. HIS 30 January, 8:18 AM
No REPLY WAS accorded on site.

You are a man of obvious and undoubted scholarship– you, as I, have dedicated a large measure of your life in careful study. When I first encountered your internet site, I attempted to contact you via pen and telephone; my NW Georgia home is but a two hour drive to your Alabama office– it was my hope that you might find time for a short meeting. Moreover, the Sipsey River sector of the Bankhead N. F., beckons, just west of Cullman is a botanical systemic’s dream– its floral range is one of the most unique in North America.

I was never able to connect with you –in spite of numerous attempts. These very uncommon actions on my part were driven by admiration.

You, then, can imagine my disbelief that your scolding rebuke of this morning was prefaced on the immutable decrees of “Internet etiquette.” Why was this law invoked, only after I had posted several counterbalances to others’ posts, including yours. And what punishment will be prescribed for the other dozens of your patrons who have broken your law in this current record? And why do you not post such on your rules ledger?

I am new at the internet– only posting comments for about 10 months—irregularly, at that. But have posted over 1,000 posts on 17 venues, with only redneck, leftist, and homosexual complaints– those having no other argument to my biblical oriented conservative posts.

You say you will not post MY future uppercase script, or replies,
but in doing so, you ignore a personal handicap– a violation of Federal Law. Simple, effortless, costless concessions to my 75-year old eye conditions must be accommodated– Christian tolerance suggest that which Federal edicts require.

But going now to disagreements of substance. You say in Paul’s quest for legal drugs he does not “support or advocate legal drugs.” Bob please!! As president, to fulfill his promise he would, of absolute necessity, both support and advocate the repeal of the Federal law. I am confident, it would not pass– too many– child loving, child protecting Congressmen, real or feigned, who love this already–desperate–drug–saturated country– and if not so driven by love for others, they will be motivated by the more compelling selfish desire of reelection. Bob, you know this as well as I.

The prostitution case is a closed issue –it’s already under state law, with Nevada, the only lawful state. In the remaining states it is precluded by state law which is often laughed at and ignored.

The legislators of the vast majority of states fear retribution from Christian moralists, irreligious moralists., or even atheistic moralists. Huge numbers of Municipal police are required to grant the whore business a free pass. During the 70s – 80s and 90s when departing by taxi from the airport of your capitol, Nashville– your lapel was immediately gifted by a prostitution rackets business card– and often with the cabby’s unsolicited comment– “These are all good classy girls– working their way through Vandy {Vanderbilt University}!!! Not one query about you, your business in town; are you a cop?– total, self assured that he was perfectly safe from any arm of justice.

I have not been though that airport since 1999– they have possibly changed– but, if so, not so, in Los Angeles, San Francisco, NYC, coastal New Jersey, every major Florida city, Chicago, every Texas border city–and in an infinite number or other cities, large and small, the mobsters and pimps have it made.

My point , Bob, is the Laws in 49 states have already said NO to prostitution, and the Feds have no say so. It’s ALREADY a nonfederal issue.

The most dangerous position on Doctor Paul’s platform is a tossup between filling our innocent children’s environment with deadly drugs, and his dismissive take on Iran. I have posted , yesterday, a relatively short, sensible, totally plausible narrative on how Iran could destroy this nation in 12 minutes– with delivery systems they NOW, and atomic weaponry they either have or will have only too soon. It’s near the end of this post sector.

Bob, I have only touched a tiny area of my concerns– but almost certainly more than you desire to read. I end with an anecdotal-sounding , but true account of about an event taking place near five years ago.

Uncle Jim was teaching Terri to type. Terri was 4 and ½, but a precocious lass. She wanted to type a letter to her granny, and Uncle Jim said he would show her how to e-mail the note when she had completed it.

Jim left to watched several minutes of the 6:00 news before returning to Terri and her typing.

She had finished Granny’s missive and Jim leaned over the monitor, smiling joyfully and hugged his smiling niece– Sugar, you only have one typo in four paragraphs! You misspelled “Saturday” you used an e where a u was required. Also, Pumpkin, you should type your letters to granny in lowercase letters, not all large ones…

But Uncle Jim…she looked up, her smile gone, her beautiful blue eyes squinting through her thick- lense, myopia corrective glasses– why?, I don’t see the little ones very clearly, and I don’t want to make tycokes

No baby –typos, Jim said with a subdued giggle– some people on the internet say the large letter are loud, and hurt their ears.

OH! Uncle Jim, the ears do not know the large from the small because letters don’t make sounds….wait! wait!…please… Uncle, Mom said I must think about things that are weird, to figure them out, please say nothing to me for a little bit…She lowered her little head until her chin was resting softly on the fist of her right arm, bowed in the unintentional fashion of a bronze cast of “The Thinker. This pose lasted fewer than ten seconds when, she with open mouth and wide eyes, exclaimed to her uncle: I got it! I got it! — Uncle Jim, listen!!!

God gave us eyes in front of our head, and ears way over on the sides–then he put a brain in the middle separating them, so we wouldn’t confuse them. Uncle Jim, maybe people who hear with their eyes, have a brain that is just too small to work–what do you say of my thoughts??

Terri– I say, “From the Mouths of Babes….”

Bob, I have both Terri’s eyes and Terri’s thoughts.

Politicians have been the same since the times of socrates. Corrupt, dishonest and immoral. It seems like both parties castigate their opponents in public and in the press, but behind the scenes, we can’t even begin to imagine the rediculous and freedom rubbing rules and regulations that they put in place for “Our benefit”. WHO CAN WE REALLY TRUST?

A portion of the Oath entered into the Congressional Record as taken by the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus, published in Feb. 15, 1913 reads:

“ . . . That I will provide myself with arms and ammunition that I may be in readiness when the word is passed, or am commanded to defend the church either as an individual or with the militia of the Pope . . .
In testimony hereof, I take this holy Eucharist and witness the same further with my name written with the point of this dagger dipped in my own blood [DOES THIS NOT SOUND LIKE THE OATH OF THE MAFIA CALLED ‘OMERTA’?] and sealed in the face of this holy sacrament . . .

I do further declare that I will . . . do my utmost to extirpate the heretical Protestant or Liberal doctrines and to destroy all their pretended powers, legal or otherwise . . . I do further promise and declare, that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants, Liberals and Masons, as I am directed to do to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth, and that I will spare neither age, sex, nor condition . . . And that I will hang, burn, waste, boil, flay, strangle, bury alive, these infamous heretics, open up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants’ heads against the walls in order to annihilate their execrable race . . .That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poison cup, the strangulation cord, the steel of the poniard, or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity or authority of the person or persons whatsoever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or superior of the brotherhood of the holy faith of the Society of Jesus [Does not this sound like the Jesuit Oath?].

Should I prove false or weaken in my determination, may my brethren and fellow militia of the Pope cut off my hands and feet, cut my throat from ear to ear, may my belly be opened and sulphur burning therein with all the punishment that can be inflicted upon me on earth and my soul
shall be tormented by demons in eternal hell forever [DOES NOT THIS SOUND LIKE A MASONIC OATH?].

That I will in voting always vote for a Knight of Columbus in preference to a Protestant, especially a Mason . . . ” [The former Governor of the State of California was Gray Davis, a FourthDegree Knight of Columbus, who is continued to further disarm the citizens of that State in preparation for the coming massive Chinese invasion of the West Coast after the Company’s new “Sword of the Church” first conquers Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the entire Pacific Rim and then Hawaii.

This Chinese naval campaign will apparently be fuelled by Unocal’s oil from the Caspian Basin because of which the Jesuit Order’s war in Afghanistan is presently being fought.]” (Dear truth-seeker, the Jesuits not only authored the above Oath of the Knights of Columbus but also, they wrote the Oaths of Scottish Rite Freemasonry over one hundred years prior to the creation of their new Order of the Knights of Columbus.

The Patriot Act is a wonderful thing. I repeat, a wonderful thing. It is not unconstitutional to be able to follow terrorists’ communications out of and into the USA without having to wait in line for a judge’s permission to wire tap. In order to save our people from terrorists within and outside the U.S., this kind of quick access to their communiques makes just as much sense as not having to go to a judge during war every time a soldier decides he needs to shoot at or capture an enemy. It’s the same reason that while a policeman is out on patrol, if he sees suspicious activity, he can follow, listen, and watch, and then if he witnesses a crime, may make an arrest. The officer does not have to take his immediate suspicions to a judge and wait in line for the o.k. to go back out and try and find again those who were acting suspiciously. I don’t hold it against any legislator that he/she voted for the Patriot Act.
