Libya Scandal Worse Than Watergate?

October 31, 2012 by

Libya Scandal Worse Than Watergate?
Four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed in an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Watergate was a two-bit burglary by operatives for the Richard Nixon Administration who wanted to (depending upon which account you believe):

  1. Learn what dirt the Democratic Party had on their boss that might be used hurt his re-election chances.
  2. Learn what dirt the Democrats had on White House Counsel John Dean and whether they had compromising photos of Dean’s fiancé, Maureen Biner, who Watergate burglar G. Gordon Liddy claimed was one of the Democratic National Committee “call girls.”
  3. Determine the Democrats’ election strategy.
  4. Retrieve illegal surveillance devices planted in the headquarters of the Democrat National Committee.
  5. Some combination of the four.

The burglary became a scandal when Nixon was caught in the cover-up.

The Libya scandal is much worse, as Senator John McCain (Neocon-Ariz.) pointed out on Sunday. People actually died; four of them to be precise. One of them was the U.S. ambassador.

For weeks, Barack Obama Administration shills and Obama himself lied about the initial cause and the events of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, blaming it on a spontaneous reaction to an amateurish and juvenile video that had been posted on YouTube months prior. We now know that is not the case.

This is what we do know:

  • The U.S. State Department knew security at the Libyan consulate was inadequate and had repeatedly turned down requests to beef it up.
  • The U.S. State Department knew that other Western consulates and embassies had been subjected to terror threats and attacks.
  • The events were observed in real time at the White House.
  • Requests for assistance once the attack commenced were ignored or denied.
  • CIA Director David Petraeus is not the one who denied the assistance.
  • Obama may have watched the events unfold live.
  • Within minutes of the attack, the Obama Administration knew there was no demonstration and there was no mob outside the consulate prior to the beginning of hostilities.
  • Those attacking the consulate were armed and backed by U.S. operatives or operatives from other countries at the behest of the United States during the overthrow of Moammar Gadhafi.

Some have said that the Libya scandal and cover-up should be the end of Obama’s Presidency. But the mainstream media seem to care not one whit about this President’s lies and/or his incompetence.

The mainstream media are whores pimping for the current lawless Administration. The President is shameless.

There is no consulate in Benghazi. My understanding is that it was a CIA distribution center for sending weapons to Syrian rebels. The hit team was probably Iranian. The attack lasted for 8-9 hours so it seems possible that the plan was to lure a US rescue operation in and wipe them out similar to the Blackhawk Down scenario. It could also be a U.S. false flag operation that was an attempt to bring Obama down.

    • Patsy

Don you are correct and I truly wish that everyone would quit calling this an embassy or consulate. It was a US mission. Whatever that means, but the end results are still the same. We have 2 dead soldiers that were trying to rescue the ambassador against military orders to stand down, a dead ambassador and one other American. When is our president going to put his big boy pants on and face the American public with the truth or is he going to continue to act like he has in the past and blame someone else for his actions.

      • GALT

Say it ain’t so, Bob……four people DIED????????

And the current President is LYING about something?????????

        And the media is complicit????????

And this is WORSE than WATERGATE, because four people DIED???????

But why choose Nixon and Watergate to make a comparison?

If it is the deaths that are the distinguishing characteristic, seems that Bush and Iraq
        would be far more apropos?

In fact, if we throw in the “uncertainties” regarding 9/11 we can add Afghanistan to the list.

Now we have THOUSANDS of DEAD!!!!!!!!!

For some strange reason, since you are no stranger to these LIES and have indeed
written numerous “articles” about them……why choose Nixon to offer your conclusion that:

“The mainstream media are whores pimping for the current lawless Administration. The President is shameless.”

While the criticism of the “mainstream media” seems to be a consistent theme for
        your “digest”……..

If this is an example of what the “alternative media” is offering by contrast, given your
conclusion………it becomes difficult to discern any difference.

It would also beg the following question of: Who or what are you “pimping” for and
when taking into consideration the completely “inappropriate” comparison, by what standard would you expect your “intelligent audience” to reach the conclusion that
what you are offering is in any way “more legitimate”?

Were not the “facts” and the uncertainties concerning them sufficient to convey
your message? Or is your message something beyond that which the “facts” and
        the “uncertainties” would permit?

      • Jayson

The question is; who do you, pimp for, double-agent Galt?…you twisted piece of humanity!

      • JeffH

        Jay…just another progressive mouthpiece…a Jabberwocky!

      • GALT

Wow, to the idiot responses so far… this a movie…..?

        Being “Bob Livingston”?

You may notice the reference to “intelligent audience”…..that you responded in
the manner that you have……indicates the following.

1.) You are not a member of the set described!
2.) You have no clue what you have just read!
3.) You believe that you are Bob’s equal in terms of “intelligence and intent.”
4.) You. despite the evidence, believe that Bob is not capable of responding.
5.) You believe that Bob will appreciate your idiotic efforts on his behalf both in terms of comprehending the questions asked and in responding to it the way you have.

        We shall see……..?

      • Jayson

You failed to answer the question, galt. Who do you PIMP for?

      • Jayson

Galt, what part of “YOU being a PIMP” did you miss the first time?

      • GALT

Dear childe, that you ARE and IDIOT, is a FACT…….confirmed by your initial response,
and reaffirmed by your second……which in addition and once again, illustrates your
“functional illiteracy” as to the five points listed as well as the “questions” raised in
        the original post.

You have the intellect of a parrot and the emotions of a two year olde who insists
on having the last word………..very well, Jayson,,,,,please, by all means…….
you may have the last word……..

      • Jayson

So, who do you PIMP for, Galt?

    • Ted Crawford

It seems that your assertion that this could have been a result of the Lybian version of Fast and Furious has merit. Your further assurtion that it was a false flag operation seems much more of a stretch. However we’ve seen that were politics are involved nothing is impossible and darn little is even improbable!
Your other speculation that it might have been an ambush is by far the most tenable! What it doesn’t explain however, is the Administrations lack of response. My military experience is limited to Nam, but from the response to Col. Moores fight in the la Drang in’65′ to the end of my second tour , when an American unit was in trouble, we reacted!
The equiptment of today makes it much easier to carry out rescue attempts. They had ‘real time eyes on’ for the TOC! The individules in the compound had LLDR capabilities, while the area might have been too congested and confused for Paveways or Hellfires, surly Copperheads were viable! Each man in the response team could have individule night vision capabilities.
Unless we sent in Mr. Johnsons 7th. grade Cub Scouts the action would have been a victory for us and have sent a clear message to the rebels, that we could and would defend what is ours!

      • Rebel at Heart

Dave H. you have way too much time on your hands calling those who you don’t know names. You are the hypocrite.

    • http://thisone hangman

I prefer to go with the theory that this was a hit orchastrated by Obama himself, as he needed to rid himself of Stevenson. Murder and deceit are nothing foreign to this traitor in chief.

      • Elda

I hang with you hangman…..I have believed from day one that Obama didn’t want Stevens to survive the assault. Those other HEROS were not supposed to be involved. Problem is only those in the WHITE HOUSE knew who was supposed to die. Everyone else was in the dark so did what they have been trained to do. Now because some have questioned Obama they have been relieved of their duties and replaced by brown nosers.

  • Bernie Jasken

Bob, You hit the nail right on the head this morning. And you’re also right about the press being totally oblivious to the truth. We can only have a “FreePress” when those in the press exercize their responsibility to actually report the news, all the news, and nothing but the news, instead of promoting their own personal (or favorite party’s) political aganda. Bernie N.D.

  • Warrior

This whole situation with this regime is sickening. We’ll see soon enough how many of the ones who like to refer to themselves as “Americans”, continue to accept this behavior from their “elected” officials. In the end, Nixon did the “honorable thing” and resigned. Anyone here believe there is ANY HONOR amongst this group of chicago thugs and their LSM accomplices? We’re way past the point of disappointment. We’re just seeing evil do its work now.

    • eddie47d

Then again what should we do about past “regimes” on the right who have their own disastrous affairs. What about the “thugs” in the Republican Party who get away with lying especially over the involvement in the Iraq war. Countless lies were told and retold to move that mission forward. Are Bush and Cheney’s heads being served on a platter along with their administration officials. Terrible mistakes happen in any conflict and officials drop the ball but few current events were as atrocious as our false flag war in Iraq. We know that most Americans accepted that behavior brought to us by a Republican administration and the kool aid was widely distributed for all to drink.

      • Warrior

        You are truly “pathetic”.

      • Ted Crawford

Come on Eddie, every intelligence agency on the Planet believed that Saddam had WMD’s ! He openly Publicly and ofte admitted ti! Some claim that this explains the stockpile in Syria!
It seems your post is the false flag here1

      • eddie47d

Assad and Saddam were adversaries not friends so who passed you the kool aid Ted? Besides even Iraq scientists said that Saddam liked to brag about his military prowess and over stated everything. So much for the “intelligence” of the Intelligence agencies.

      • DaveH

        References, Ted?
Here’s an article I found disputing that:

But even if Iraq had nuclear weapons, even if Iran has nuclear weapons, who are we to criticize?
The US has the second largest stockpile of Nuclear Weapons in the world, and I’d hazard a guess that ours are more reliable than those of the largest stockpile (Russia).
The US is meddling militarily in countries around the World.
The US is the only country to have ever actually used a Nuclear Weapon against another country, and that country was pushed into a corner purposely by a president (FDR) who was seeking entry into WWII against the citizens’ wishes.

Yeah, I know, Iran is fanatical. Iran will use it’s nuclear weapons, etc. etc. etc.
But that’s all lip service until they actually do.

      • Ted Crawford

False assumption here Dave! WMD’s are not limited to, but rather inclusive of, Nuclear Weapons. Also included in that category are Chemical and Biological Weapons, and those are what Saddam was believed to have had and what , according to some, Syria now has!

      • DaveH

I am well aware of that, Ted.
How does that negate anything I said?

      • DaveH

        Chemical weapons? Biological Weapons?

Have they really destroyed all their stockpiles? Can we believe a Government that has lied to us throughout our country’s history?

We have become not only a nation of Criminals, but also a nation of Hypocrites.

      • DaveH

        From the above article:
“The United States began its own destruction process unilaterally in 1990, seven years before the CWC entry into force, and announced late in 2011 that it had completed 90% destruction of its original 31,500 US tons (28,577 MTs) of stockpiled chemical weapons at seven of its nine declared stockpile sites. The US missed the Chemical Weapons Conventions 29 April 2012 deadline, and at that time it appeared the US would need another decade or more to complete the task.”
Let’s see, when was it that the US self-righteously accused Iraq of stockpiling WMDs? 2002?

      • DaveH

For those who want to get a hint of why the US is really meddling with the Middle East countries:

        Oil and Money.
We, the apathetic citizens, have allowed our Government to cast us as a nation of Imperialists exploiting people throughout the World for the wealth of the Crony Capitalists.

      • Don

eddie, you forgot to mention that Congress voted ( YEA ) to go into Iraq

      • DaveH

If you want to understand the concept of money thoroughly, and understand why our Leaders, their Crony Bankers, and their Crony Capitalists, all prefer fiat dollars, read this:

      • walter agard

You are right Eddie47d. That is something they ignores a lot.It is the Republicians cause this, what’s happening to us today. It don’t make any sense why they cant see it.It happens right in front their eyes.

      • Rebel at Heart

Where is your evidence eddie? You have none, because there is none. Get over it those events are over ten years old. Do you wring your hands over Bill; Clinton committing perjury in a court room, for which he was impeached by the House?

      • eddie47d

Don who cares who voted for what they are all pied pipers for the established rulers and visa versa. Just because 99 people are stupid doesn’t mean that 1 person is wrong.

      • eddie47d

Rebel: Iraqi Scientists interviewed said exactly what I quoted. Believe what ever you want. Besides who cares about Clinton and his [comment has been edited]. …Trivial and very minor within the big picture of what is happening out there.

      • Paula

I wish you’d just drink the kool aid already! Should be easy for you since you are already so brain washed, you just believe everything the liberal media tell you.

      • Joe

So if it happened 10 years ago it doesn’t matter anymore? Then who cares about Benghazi? in 10 years it’ll be 10 years old and wont matter! Get with the future!

  • angelkisz

I believe it was either a gun running gone bad, remember Stevens had just met with a Turkish diplomat just a few hours earlier or something Obama cooked up to have Stevens kidnapped then traded for the blind sheik then Obama would come out smelling like a rose. But as we can all see that whatever it was, it blew up on him and now he has blood on his hands.

    • Elda

Yes…….he does have blood on his hands. Nothing we as Americans do will change that. Obama and those that have supported his agenda will have this on them for ever and will have to account for it to a higher power than the American people, and yes so will all the rest of the power grabbers that have possessed the WH over the years. But this is the one we are dealing with right now. I for one will not let this doe here because I do not want to stand before my Maker and tell Him I didn’t care.

  • eddie47d

This whole Benghazi affair is being blown up to win the election for Romney and more sensational and reckless journalism is being thrown around faster than Hurricane Sandy! Neither side cares about stinkin facts but this attack is far from being the worst of anything. Watergate was meant to set up one party power over another and a coup that failed. They may have been keystone cops in trying to pull it off but their goal was clear in trying to change the political atmosphere in the USA. The Iran-Contra Affair was far more serious in peddling drugs,by-passing sanctions with the Iranians, and allowing the killing of thousands in Central America. All done with American approval and denied by Ronald Reagan as having any knowledge of the event. That Affair didn’t get anything close to the hyped up “news” coverage that this Consulate attack has.

    • Netterella

Eddie…Excuse me? Now you’re sounding like Obama himself…it was just a bump in the road and not really that important?! Why do you say that the Benghazi affair is being blown up to get Romney elected? It doesn’t matter if it’s election time, or not. Obama has lied to the American people and we deserve to know the truth. And where is this “hyped-up” news coming from? You certainly don’t see it on the mainstream media because they refuse to even report it (for fear of making their king look bad!). Give me a bucket…some of you should step back and really listen to yourselves and maybe do some heavy duty research of your own to see what it really happening in this country!!

      • eddie47d

Yes I have been seeing what is going on and it goes back decades. I never said that the Benghazi mission attack wasn’t serious but not near as much as other events. So Netterella maybe you ought to take up knitting if you can’t see the forest threw the trees. Although I don’t watch much news on TV these stories are always there when it is on and it is in the Denver Post each and every day. So instead of repeating Republican talking points about the mainstream media look at the big picture and see how all these events are interconnected. There are lies and spin for everyone and coming from both the Republicans and the Democrats.

      • DaveH

No matter how you spin it, Eddie, two wrongs do not make a right. Never have, Never will.

    • Vigilant

Eddie says, “The Iran-Contra Affair…didn’t get anything close to the hyped up “news” coverage that this Consulate attack has.”

Eddie, I fear your memory of Iran-Contra is seriously flawed. It was a media circus that consumed months and months of time as front page news and TV coverage. You don’t remember the screen shots of Admiral Poindexter and Oliver North? Contrast that with the lack of media coverage of Libyagate and Fast & Furious. The differences are astounding.

Moreover, Iran-Contra was primarily not a drug-running operation. It started as a weapons for Iranian hostages trade, and later became partly a funding apparatus for supporting the Nicaraguan Contras against the communist government of Daniel Ortega.

There were admittedly shady operations contingent to Iran-Contra that probably did include the CIA’s involvement in the drug trade, and it’s a shame more scrutiny has not been placed on this area. The CIA operatives involved should be cooling their heels in jail right now.

Moreover, contrary to your claim, the Reagan administration admitted Contra-cocaine connections on April 17, 1986. Please see

    • Rebel at Heart

You are obviously blissfully ignorant of the truth. Nixon was way ahead in the polls that year and the spying wasn’t needed. Where were you and what are you thinking. Somebody in the current administration decided to deny assistance to Americans in harms way, and somebody is trying to hide the facts. What don’t you get. I voted for George Wallace in 1972 in Michigan as a protest vote against Nixon’s overt liberalism.

    • TML

In comparing different events in history to Benghazi, I think the Iran/Contra and Watergate incident are similar for the direct actions taken by the President, as opposed to the inaction of the President in the Benghazi incident. Two were deliberate cover-ups, and I don’t believe this one to be such a “cover-up” as it’s being made out to be. We know America was arming rebels in Libya. We know of the attack, and only comes down to thinking it was trying to be covered up, because it was being blamed on a video, yet, many demonstrations throughout the world were indeed spontaneous at the same time as the attack. Just doesn’t seem like any real attempt to cover up anything.

In addition, if there is a cover-up… all the talk and conjecture on the incident yields nothing concerning what is supposedly being covered-up, except perhaps ‘motives for the attack’, which are STILL not articulated by anyone saying so.

    • Rebel at Heart

So you read the Communist rag the Denver Post? That explains your lack of I.Q. What a joke you are eddie. Sad, sad, sad.

      • eddie47d

Why are there so many right wing columnists in the Denver Post Mr Rebel. You are a bigger overrated jerk than I thought!

    • Elda

Actually, ed, I kind of hope Obama wins now so we can go after him, Biden, Holder, and all the other pieces of *&%$ that are involved in this cover up and traitorous “selling weapons to the enemy” affair. If he looses I think it will just be swept under the rug.

  • greyghost05

There are some interesting points of view displayed over on: From what I read it was no accident that Stevens was hung out to dry. He was a link to the gun running that has been going on. Stuff that would make “Fast & Furious” seem mild.

    • DaveH

      Thanks ghost.
For those interested, here is a direct link to the article:

    • Vigilant

greyghost05, that article is particularly revealing. So much for those who say Iran is some innocent nation with no Islamist designs on the world. This is just one more nail in the coffin of those who see no harm in Iran obtaining a nuclear weapons capability purely for “self defense.”

      • TML

Hah… even your “revealing” article says, “could the magic trick be revealed?”
Yeah, Iran was behind it, even though we just armed rebels in the overthrow of their sovereign, it had to be Iran. And that Iranian born adviser was born to two American citizens.
        More conjecture; no facts.
Try not to hit your thumb with the hammer trying to drive in that dull nail.

        Btw, three things…

        (1) No one said Iran was innocent except in the fact they have not themselves aggressed, invaded, or attacked another country under their current government.

        (2) Islamist designed on the world? Would that be like American designs on the world?

        (3) There would be harm in Iran obtaining nuclear weapons while still under the Non-Proliferation treaty. As it is, they are not. But strange comment coming from someone who seemed to approve of Saudi Arabia (where most of the 9/11 attackers came from) having nuclear weapons presumably for “self-defense” against Iran.

      • Vigilant

“But strange comment coming from someone who seemed to approve of Saudi Arabia (where most of the 9/11 attackers came from) having nuclear weapons presumably for “self-defense” against Iran.”

As DaveH might say, “you lie like a liberal.”

Now where and when did I EVER say I advocated, approved, subscribed to, or condoned Saudi Arabia obtaining a nuclear weapons capability?

You’re delusional, sonny, and your reading comprehension sucks. And, yes, those are ad hominems in action. Fire away.

      • TML

In a recent conversation you replied to my statement that Saudi Arabia was more warmongering than Iran, you said, “Their [Saudi Arabian] aspirations [to obtain nuclear weapons] are to DEFEND their Sunni country from the Shiite radicalism of the Iranians.”

I know full well the context of your statement was to try validating fears of Iran by saying that even other Muslim nations are afraid of Iran – my reading comprehension is just fine – but you never denounced Saudi’s from obtaining one, thus “seemed” to approve.

After all, self-defense is the only justifiable act of violence.

Plus I know the subject seems to get a rise out of you ;)

      • Vigilant

“I know full well the context of your statement was to try validating fears of Iran by saying that even other Muslim nations are afraid of Iran – my reading comprehension is just fine – but you never denounced Saudi’s [sic] from obtaining one, thus “seemed” to approve”

The first part of your comment is true. The second rationalization (after the second dash) is a perfect example of a non sequitur.

What I “seemed” to approve is a very weak argument, and violates good logic. Had you indeed followed the tenor of my comments, you could have deduced that I welcome NO increase in nuclear arsenals anywhere. That the Saudis are fearful enough to feel warranted in doing so is, prima facie, sufficient reason to be very worried about Iran’s intentions.

“After all, self-defense is the only justifiable act of violence.”

In a nuclear age, pre-emption may be the only self defense that makes sense, after all diplomatic avenues have been exhausted.

      • TML

Vigilant says, “That the Saudis are fearful enough to feel warranted in doing so is, prima facie, sufficient reason to be very worried about Iran’s intentions.”

The fear of a person, or people, isn’t sufficient reason to worry about Iran’s intentions. Maybe their fear is unwarranted.

Vigilant says, “In a nuclear age, pre-emption may be the only self defense that makes sense, after all diplomatic avenues have been exhausted.”

And finally we get to the baseline of our indifference; preemptive war is mutually exclusive to the concept of self-defense. It is aggression only, regardless of how it might be rationalized, and thus illegitimate. You are talking about war based only on a ‘perceived’ threat, before that threat is even materialized, while alleging such action is unavoidable due to ‘exhausted’ diplomatic avenues. Preemptive action is not even permitted by the U.N. Charter which governs nuclear proliferation. Even in a nuclear age your argument ‘violates good logic’ to the point of utter contradiction.

Benghazigate: The Obama Administration has been arming Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in a likely effort to isolate Israel

  • http://aol j.m. olson

i see that obama is all over this “sandy” situation, trying to look presidential, by being supportive of the people…the media is saying he is taking a break from campaigning but in truth, he is not…what he is doing, gladhanding people at the redcross, civilians, governors and mayors, is also a form of campaigning, while biden and clinton are out there spreading his message for him…where was he during the benghazi situation where an ambassador, 2 navy seals and an aide to the ambassador, got killed? oh, that’s right, after watching it occur in realtime, he hustled off on airforce 1 to meet with JZ,/beyonce, david letterman and jay leno, as well as going to multiple fundraisers….would you expect less? his other recent foupah was when he made that lackluster speech at the UN, did not meet with any of the other heads of state (especially netanyahu, who had requested a meeting, since they would both be in new york city at the same time) but had to rush to a late night taping and an appearance on the View. What a guy!

    • eddie47d

“Gladhanding people at the Red Cross” for campaign purposes! Then Romney was “gladhanding” in Ohio for political purposes and Ryan is out there doing Romney’s bidding? J.M. is a hypocritical hoot! What about Romney’s ad that lies about Jeep moving its American operation to China? The CEO of Jeep immediately condemned that ad and insisted all Jeep production in American and its workers would remain here. Jeep is opening up a new plant in China and that is no different than Sears or McDonald’s doing so. Seems like the king of outsourcing Romney doesn’t know his left hand from his right.

      • RY

You’re obviously a shill for the DNC with your half-truth and outright lies “talking points”. What a disgrace. You, my friend, are in for a bad night next Tuesday.

      • eddie47d

Obvious RY is a shill for the Republicans and can’t tell the truth. Where is my lie RY? No sir you are the disgrace!

      • Vigilant

Eddie, please make up your mind. When is outsourcing bad and when is it good? In the high unemployment environment we have now, is it OK in your mind for a company (like G.E. or Jeep) to expand operations to an overseas location and by doing so deny the hiring of American workers?

So Romney’s ad is inaccurate…so what? If you want accuracy, don’t view ANY political ad from either side. The thrust of the Romney ad, albeit semantically inaccurate, is that companies bailed out by the taxpayers have a certain moral obligation to expand their employment rolls by availing themselves of US labor, is it not?

Both political parties have crafted changes to tax and regulatory laws to incentivize the tax shelters and cheap labor found off shore. Do you not agree?

The thing is Vigilant the Chinese are driving cars like gangbusters. The market is wide open that is why so many American companies built over there. Saves transportation costs. American consumers should buy American build products even if they have a Nissan logo. Let the Chinese buy American products in China for if they are built here those transportation costs would make them unaffordable. So we do get dollar value even if it isn’t as much.

J.M. Olsom, I agree with you. Obama is no taking time off from campaigning, if anything, he isi using Sandy’s trajedy as an opportunity to gain support for his re-election. Not too mention, he has his chronies ( Biden/Clinton) campaign for him. Obama cares nothing about anyone other than Obama. He is and has beeb lying to the American Public since abd before he took office. I pray/hope that “We The People” can see what he has done to this great nation, and to those brave men in Benghazi. e. scmitt

    • JeffH

j.m. olson…and that is a rarity. Without diminishing the catasrophe caused by “sandy”, the loss of lives, the suffering and destruction of property. Yeah, Obama is making an attempt to save his “arse”. He actually cancelled some campaign stops.

If only he had taken the same approach to protect American’s in Bengazi…we might not be having this discussion at all.

The biggest Obama cover up. What happened about operation ‘fast and furious?’

  • Gillysrooms from Australia

Your right in what your saying except the reality is no one wants the event to excallate into prolonging the USA in more wars and conflict which will cost more than just more lives but more $UStrillions when your currency is on the verge of becoming worthless. Better to not make a big fuss by belting your chest at the perpretators as Romney seems so gallant at wanting to do, but I suggest Obama is more likely to be successful by working behind the scenes and achieve a result quietly at less cost in terms of both hardware and personnell.

    • Warrior

I’m confused. Are u saying oblama can successfully destroy the currency from “working behind the scenes” or just leaving more americans out to dry by “working behind the scenes”? If america is currently running guns to syria, is that not an “escalation” of war?

  • Truth

The Media will be the first to lose their Liberty if they get want they want. Reporters will be executed if they write a story critical of our Dictator. All articles must be cleared by the Dictator. On air reporters who stray from our Dictator’s instructions will be executed.

  • jopa

Some say this could end Obama’s career. The only ones even putting a twisted spin on this story is Fox news with their idiotic messengers. There are a lot of things that go on in time of war that are on a need to know basis and Fox news is not part of the group that needs to know. When Obama calls the shot on the perps that committed these atrocities then you will be given as Paul Harvey would say “The Rest of the Story”.

    • Netterella

Are you serious? Maybe you should research deeper and find that Fox is not twisting their stories…they are the only ones reporting what is really happening. I suppose next you’re going to say that there really are no hearings going on up on Capitol Hill where the truth is slowly coming out? Do your research. Open your eyes…see what’s really happening! If Obama had his way…the “Rest of the Story” would continue to be that it was all mob violence stemming from a You-Tube video.

    • Ted Crawford

Well he will certainly need to speak very, very loudly for Ambassador Stevens and Company to hear! Id say they woun’t give much of a Damn if they did hear! How absolutely idiotic is your statement! !

    • eddie47d

Netterrella says that FOX doesn’t twist the news; sorry to inform you but they all do it.. Look how long it took to expose Watergate and some of the participants denied it right up to their deathbeds. Now go back to your knitting oh wise one!

      • JeffH

My God man, will you never be able to comprehend? Netterella was responding to jopa’s comment about FOX reorting on “this story”(Bengazigate).

How in damnation does “Watergate” play any role in this story?
        HELLO! This is 2012…not 1972.

      • JeffH

I’d like to retract this question…”How in damnation does “Watergate” play any role in this story?”…and replace it with the administrations attempts to cover-up their “treasonous” role in Bengazigate make the “Watergate scandal” look like a week-end at a Girl Scout camp.

Any attempt to justify the actions of this administrations handling, or ignoring, of the requests for additional security and the numerous requests for real time assistance and being told to “stand down” is nothing short of treasonous.

There is no acceptable excuse to allow American lives to be sacrificed for a political agenda, including previous and current wars, yet this has been exactly the agenda our “leaders” have chosen or been forced to follow…afterall, it is said that you can have power, wealth, even an attractive mate and virtually anything else you ever dreamed of – by selling your soul to Satan!

      • Paula

Hope this doesn’t come as a big shock to you but Fox News was not even around in 1972

Sorry you are so confused Paula. Those were two separate and distinct sentences. One about FOX and the other about the Watergate burglars. ,

    • Paula

In the meantime, I guess it’s OK if they just lie and cover it up? There is 1 of 2 things going on either Obama is lying about what he knew and when he knew it or the State Dept and Obama are inept. Either way you look at it, it make Obama look bad!

Just remember People’The BUCK Stops ”’,at the Presidential level!!!Obomba should should be taking most of the heat for this(Not mrs Clinton)!!!It reminds me of what happen to Carter(look what happen to him at Election time!)

It seems somewhat strange that you’re just now bringing the basic facts about Benghazi up. Needless to say, this incident has been mentioned previously by Ben back on the 20th of October and previously on September 18th. But those articles were concerned with the video and the Biden’s buffoonery at the VP debate, not what happened in Benghazi as directly as what you’ve mentioned today. Chip mentioned it at length back on the 5th of October but not listing facts such as these today. Yes, the facts then were not as many as what they are today but at least the picture was coming together more so by others. John Myers brought it up on September 26th but nothing since. Sam Rolley had an article concerning it on September 17th but that was more focused on what former Speaker Gingrich had to say about it. Yet still, you just now bring it up? I’m glad that you have but it doesn’t appear as if it is as concentrated and focused as it should be. Instead, it is being used as a comparative to Nixon’s fiasco and the difference between the media in the 70’s and how far left they’ve become since. Doesn’t it seem logical that this should be pounded more significantly? I enjoy your articles and agree 99.99% of the time with you. Even so, It merely seems strange that what we know now concerning Benghazi has not been heavily focused on here. If it is important (which it obviously is) and everyone should know as much as possible, then why hasn’t it been consistently brought up on a much more regular basis? Others have been, is that why it’s not carried much weight here? Merely asking. . .

    • Bob Livingston

      Dear Sirian,

You write: “Even so, It merely seems strange that what we know now concerning Benghazi has not been heavily focused on here. If it is important (which it obviously is) and everyone should know as much as possible, then why hasn’t it been consistently brought up on a much more regular basis?” Forgive me, but I do not understand your question. You just pointed out that five separate articles on Benghazi have appeared on Personal Liberty in the weeks since the attacks, not counting mine today. How many times should we write about this incident for your satisfaction? The facts are difficult to come by. Only Fox is doing any consistent reporting and their motives, and therefore their reporting, is often questionable.

      Best wishes,

      • Paula

Bob, I do not know why you say Fox New is questionable when in fact everything you said about Benghazi is exactly what Fox News has been reporting

      • BrotherPatriot

Paula…those of us who have been actively researching what’s going on have come to the conclusion that though Fox News is better than the MSM…they still are just a gatekeeper. Right now, it’s in their best interest to bring out the truth concerning this because Obama is being dropped like a hot potato. Romney has been given the nod by the controlling power behind the scenes…and most of you know who I’m referring to…

Why is Mitt being given the crown?

Because the frogs are stirring…they need to lull us back to sleep so they are turning down the heat. To many people waking up…but it’s to late…the awakening wave has begun & Pandora’s box has been opened. The forces behind the scenes have lost the information war. There are to many leaks of the truth now due to the internet and they no longer can plug them like they did back in the 60′s & such.

Romney is still working for them but he will destroy us much more slowly compared to Obama.

        God Bless.

        • deerinwater

Fox is better in what way pray tell? Volume of disinformation or taking liberties with the facts? Surely you don’t believe that Palm trees grows in Wisconsin?

      • BrotherPatriot

Turns out I was wrong about Mitt getting the “nod”.

I had no idea that Obama’s machine would lie & cheat so viciously at the polls that they would increase the voting from districts to OVER 100% of the registered voters…for one. Another reason may be because they still get 4 more years to ram home their Agenda in such a way that Mitt Romney wouldn’t have done. Also 4 more years to try & figure a way to dodge the justice that should be brought to bear against Obama.

However, these people are brilliant psychopaths who plan years & years ahead so this could very well be still going to plan.

All I know is…apparently Sheriff Joe’s people have gained some foothold within Washington DC and may be able to bring their criminal investigation of Barry Soetoro to a head within the next few months & my fingers are crossed that if they are true to the evidence…then Obummer may be on his way out with the possibility that all he has signed into “law” will become null & void. Perhaps even jail time for him & others who are linked that got him to where he was.

        God Bless!

Could it be that the Ambassador was to be taken and held for ransom for the blind sheik held for the 1st attack of the World Trade Center? The 2 Navy Seals that showed up messed up the operation? Was Obama going to be the big hero, just like he killed BinLadin, and rescue the Ambassador?

Ted, you make a valid point, and it plays right into Michael Boldin’s article yesterday ( regarding the futility of placing any messianic hopes in a single individual to change the direction of the country.

As I’ve mentioned before, and Boldin confirms, the changes MUST come from the lowest grassroots levels (local, town, county, state) in literally thousands of elections, before any alteration can be effected.

The philosophies of Paul/Johnson are indeed admirable (for the most part), but their times will not come until the progressive weeds have been pulled at all levels of government. You kill the alligators first and then you will eventually have a winning formula.

No single person as president, acting Constitutionally, will EVER restore this nation in the absence of Congressional and judicial support.

” The landings have failed, I’ve withdrawn the troops! The troops, the air, and the Navy did all that bravery and devotion to duty could do. If any blame or fault attaches itself to this attempt, it is mine alone!” Dwight Esienhower.
Of course D-Day was a success!
“All this is my fault! It is I who have lost this fight” Robert E. Lee in the aftermath of ‘Picketts Charge’
      Now here is how a coward covers his backside;
“The timing, operational decision making and control are in Adm. McRavens hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration” Obama when ordering the bin Lauden raid1

  • Alex

    Dear Mr Livingston,

It makes less sense to compare the terrorist attack in Libya to the Watergate Operation than to the more closely related criminal failings of the administration immediately proceeding the current president’s.

Now, I know you are sick of people referring to Bush—REALLY sick. So sick that the Right
never even mentions the guy. But, anyway, let’s be reasonable. Watergate involved a burglary, the investigation of which proceeded to uncover the cesspool that was the mind
of the disgraced Whittier Poet, Richard Nixon.

The terrorist attack in Benghazi, like the tragedies of 911, involve the loss of lives for which the people demand an accurate account. In each case there is much supposition regarding adavnce warning, immediate response, and reaction across time.

Violent actions, unfortunately, form the bulwark of Human History. Horrible things happen, and they happen a lot. For all I, or most other people know, a number of things may have
occurred prior to, during, and after the attack that have been kept from the public for reasons of national security—and before you jump down my throat about that, you should know that I am always among the first to demand public scrutiny of our government’s, and particularly, our military’s, misdeeds. I do not give this president a pass on that. That is just the way this country, and all other countries, have always and will always operate. They prefer to keep us in the dark. You know that.

I should hope, Mr Livingston, that you might refer me to previous PLD stories in which you slam the Bush Administration for the 3000 lives lost on 911. The lives lost in the Benghazi Attack are mourned. To use it as occasion to criticize the president one week before the election makes sense in your case, I suppose, only so long as you spent the three years before the Bush “re” election of ’004 calling him a liar unfit for the White House, a man who allowed 911 to unfold as it did by ignoring rather explicit warning and then started two wars in an attempt to cover his tracks.

    Best Wishes, Alex

    • Bob Livingston

      Dear Alex,

You write: “I should hope, Mr Livingston, that you might refer me to previous PLD stories in which you slam the Bush Administration for the 3000 lives lost on 911.” Feel free to use the site’s search function (at the top of the page) and search the term “9/11″ to see what I’ve written since 2008 on the subject. This Website was started in late 2008. To see what I wrote in my monthly newsletter regarding Bush and his complicity in 9/11 and the lies that took us into Iraq (including where I predicted that the Afghan war would not end well and we would be there for years on end), I refer you to However, to search the archives there, you will need a subscription.

Absolutely. This makes the ‘Watergate’ matter more like a loving, family reunion in comparison. This prez has MUCH to hide, and this issue is one of MANY. Vets, families, patriots, people who care about being FREE, this one disaster alone should be more than enough to get the White House Messiah KICKED OUT of Washington.
For those who don’t get it (refuse to get it?), this prez is telling America that if he’ll turn his back on an ambassador and 2 Navy Seals [and HE DID!], he’ll turn his back on ANYONE at ANY time for ANY reason. WHERE is our ho bag MEDIA? Do some of you mental virgins still think the media IS NOT in bed with Obummer?
VOTE, and put Chicago’s gift to corruption where he belongs [ANYWHERE but in the W H]. And, while you’re at it, what about the military leaders who were ____-canned by Obummer because they wanted to RESCUE the ambassador and anyone else who needed HELP but were MURDERED so as not offend ‘The One’ in the middle of a political campaign? Either be free, or put on your fricking CHAINS, America!

In ordinary times I do not agree with the RINO Sen.John McCain but recently his stated, “In Watergate, no one dies.” wiped out the Deemers attempt to rationalize this agenda of destruction epitomized by this Benghazi debacle. The mounting evidence is damming, it gets more pointed and defined as it is revealed by deed and action, it points directly at the Fraud in the WH and all his henchmen, more political agenda, smuggling of arms, betrayal of Americans by lies and deeds that lean toward treason. This is another expanded Fast and Furious episode but now it is a Obama and Holder main attraction of undermining of national Constitutional laws and policy, with intent to commit permanent harm to this nation…..There is evil here yet to unfold, like a spiderweb of schemes and plots by a mix of islamic and communist gangs of thuggs and deviants…..stay tuned folks before this is over your hair will turn white.

  • TML

“For weeks, Barack Obama Administration shills and Obama himself lied about the initial cause and the events of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, blaming it on a spontaneous reaction to an amateurish and juvenile video that had been posted on YouTube months prior.”

I stand by what I’ve been saying; there were a great number of spontaneous demonstrations against the video throughout the world at the same time the events in Libya took place. For that reason, I don’t see that part as a deliberate lie, even if no protest was underway outside the embassy at the time, as takes time to investigate the facts and motives in order to correctly identify the crime.

I do see the event as a gross incompetence on part of the administration because of knowing the condition of an unstable region, and not ‘beefing up’ security, or removing them altogether. The incompetence extends even to the intervention in Libya to help rebels overthrow their sovereign. The incident was a result of blowback from this incompetence, and that is what has not even been acknowledged by the Administration even to this day.

“This is what we do know:
    … …
    – The events were observed in real time at the White House.
    … …
    - Obama may have watched the events unfold live.”

Meaning…. Someone was streaming a live feed of the attack to the Situation Room?
I suppose we do know that Obama “MAY have watched the events unfold live” – but did he?

    • Paula

If he didn’t, he should have been. He is the President after all and he is fully responsible. And don’t forget he immediately blamed it on a video hoping to cover it up. Then when it was uncovered, that it was not a video and 7 week later we are still waiting for the truth. REALLY, how hard can it be you watched it in really time. Guess he is trying to come up with the perfect lie. It is one of 2 things he is lying or he is inept.
This Presidency has been one cover-up after another. We will never get the truth from Obama about fast and furious either.

      • TML

Paula says “And don’t forget he immediately blamed it on a video hoping to cover it up.”

He blamed a video for the attack to cover up the attack? Think about what you’re saying.

Paula says “Then when it was uncovered, that it was not a video and 7 week later we are still waiting for the truth.”

America just orchestrated a coup by helping rebels in Libya overthrow their sovereign. Much like how the CIA engineered a coup of the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran in 1953, which ultimately led to the Hostage Crisis due to meddling in the internal affairs of Iran. This incident carries the same pattern. If there is any truth not told, it’s an acknowledgement that the Benghazi incident was once again blowback from meddling in the affairs of other countries. You’re not going to hear that confession from Obama nor Romney, much less any other President.

  • cerebus23

I will say this in reguard to bush saddam and WMDs, Saddam had the scientists and know how, they had the equipment, it takes no time at all to whip up batches of WMDs if you have the first two things or can get them.

Saddam had a frequent habit of kicking the inspectors out and doing tons of things that to any observer might be suspicious, like moving crates of stuff out the backs of buildings while the inspectors were coming in the front.

For all we know he was moving his reams and reams of torture documents and interviews and spy stuff, he had that junk all over the place apparently, but saddam acted like he was hiding stuff reguardless of what he was or was not hiding.

Obama is acting like a guy that is hiding stuff, if there is any truth to half of it he should be impeached based on his statements vs what he knew and when he knew it. No matter how you spin it we need to get more facts on all this and the media is damn well in the bleeping tank on this one because it is a big deal.

  • mark

    Dear Bob,

Yes but if you want to go back to historical analogies the Benghazi attack is of course a mere pittance of a scandal compared to the 242 Marines blown to bits in Lebanon in 1983 due to the incompetency of the Reagan administration or the 4,000 Americans killed in Iraq 2003-2011 due to the idiocy of George W. Bush’s wrongheaded invasion. Not to mention the 58,000 killed in a pointless war in Vietnam under Johnson and Nixon. Benghazi is small potatoes indeed compared to these disasters. Not even worth mentioning in comparison to these other true disasters.

    Sincerely, mark

Whatever happened to to Iran-Contra / Irangate in 1986, or the Beirut barracks bombings during the Raegan Administration. Good old Oliver North. So much for government, the list goes on and the repitition continues. We can probabaly find many-many more.

A better comparison to Bengazi would be the “Black Hawk Done” incident in Somalia. Bill Clinton and his puppet Les Aspin, denied air support, especially C-130 gunship support, to the Rangers who were trying to recover our air crews who were shot down by the fuzzy-wasses. The results were 18 dead Rangers and numerous wounded and our retreat from Somalia. Some say this gave bin-laden the go=ahead for 9/11.
Obama and company are traitors and, God forbid, he’s re-elected, he should be impeached. Hopefully the Congress has the balls to open those proceeding as soon as he’s sworn in.

  • Bimbam

    Warning to the American People.

It is obvious that oBama hates America. These people in Benghazi saw the danger they were in and despite repeated request for assistance they were denied. They were all slaughtered with reports the ambassador himself may have been sodomized, just like the way Khadafy died.

After Bin Laden was killed 26 Navy Seals died in mysterious circumstances. Radical Islamist have been seeing going in and out of the White House. A price to pay for killing a man he admired?

What does he do next? Party, appear on talk show after talk show grinning ear to ear. He seems to have a penchant for killing our top soldiers, Navy Seals!

He was caught in with an open mike telling a top Putin aid he will be more “flexible” when he is elected when it comes to our nuclear arsenal. What the heck does that mean?

He has appointed communist after communist and radicals who then appoint un-vetted Muslims as aids.

Why am I telling you this? Because after Benghazi, what’s next? Your town, your city, your state becoming the next target of a nuclear or biological terrorist strike? Courtesy of oBama and his radical Muslims seen going in and out of the White House, with who knows with what under their arms and a wink from oBama?

And with that Alfred E Neumann grin ear to ear? Can you trust what his explanation will be? Do you see what is going on? Do you see the setup that Ambassador Stevens failed to see? Do you see the setup the 26 Navy SEALS failed to see?

Will you be the next sheep to be slaughtered by this psychopath and his sycophants to bring America down? A dream many tyrants have held for years.

Do you see why he grins ear to ear like a Cheshire cat every time something like this happens and then he parties?

    • Paula

You are 100% correct, I do not understand how so many can not see it. The bible says Satan has the power to blind and that is certainly true.

      • Joe

The bible also says you can sell your daughter into marriage to bear children, as long as he doesn’t beat her TOO bad.

It regulates the slave trade, once again, just dont beat him/her to death and your fine.

God also told Moses to raze a few cities and kill everyone who wasn’t a virgin. The virgins were the men to keep as their own.

Here’s a hint, don’t use the Bible to justify morality when speaking with people who have ACTUALLY read the Bible.

BO and Hillary the Hag are so invested in the Muslim Brotherhood being able to control their radicals that they didn’t want to be embarassed by Bengazi. They completely ignored the fact that the MB is the godfather of muslim terrorism. Their founder became a Nazi general leading a muslim regiment in central Europe during WW11. Tigers don’t change their stripes They are an enemy to the West then, now, and in the future. BO and the Hag are either criminally incompetent or are out right traitors. Sounds like a few GOP Senator’s are attempting to capitalize on a tragedy and the charge is being echoed about by any and all anti- “Bronco Obama” media outlets as we approach the 11th hour leading up to the general election.

It’s no more then that. The information is there for all to see, Clinton has accepted full responsibility for her part in this tragic turn of event but that does not satisfy the blood thirst of partisan politics. It’s not scandal, it is horrible. Horrible and scandal are two separate things that pro Willard forces are attempting to connect anyway they can.

Why? ~ The Senate race is actually just as important as the presidential race and the GOP needs gains in the Senate to hedge their bets. Mounting aggressive attacks are very easy to do and cast the image of being “in charge” while a defensive posture suggest a weakness that GOP Senator’s are attempt to hide. Using offense as a defense is standard policy with the GOP and most of us understands this by now.

If you wish to see it that way, the scandal charge loses much of it’s creditably. That the GOP attempts to suggest that the any President might possess a Crystal Ball and know everything that is going on in real time all over the world and be proactive with every accounting is at best , absurd.

On 9-11 of every year hence, we can expect the evil poets to crawl out from under their rock and do their devils work on an international stage ~ is a given. But we can’t cover the whole world.

Tim McVeigh ~ bombing of Oklahoma’s Federal building coincided with the anniversary of the Branch Dravidian incident. ~ A twisted mind over whelmed by evil and hell bent to make a political statement is hard to second guess by anyone.

I was visiting with my book keeper that happens to be Nigerian this week and I asked him about this latest Al-Qaeda attacks in his country. ~ He says, they were not Al Qaeda, ~ they were Al Qaeda “want-to-be’s”. ~ We all know that there is an element of “sickness” in the work, ~ small people with small minds attempting to be big people and control the rest of us with fear.

The question is, ~ will you allow yourself to be part of their sick scheme? Are you going to react with your “feeling” of fear and uncertainty and be controlled and lead by such people?

    I refuse.

Deerinheadlights: What good is accepting responsibility with no reprecussions? The least the Hag could have done was resign. BO is responsible for surroning himself and loading his staff with flaming incompetents and traitors. The Hag’s mia culpa rings as hollow as everything else the Clinton’s do. Enemies; foreign and domestic.

      • deerinwater

Well gunner689AI, ~ what makes you think there is no penalty , no ramifications? What would please you gunner689AI, a public flogging, death to the S of S 1st born, forfeiture of pay and 30 days in the hole?

You tell us what price would make things right for you? You tell us who is responsible for well planned militant extremist attacks, arm with rocket propelled shoulder weapons and automatic rifles and how might it be stopped and still conduct affairs of state.

What what would be your solution that you would back, stand behind and defend and take responsibility for?

And it’s Deerinwater. One word. ~ You can do it white man.

  • gunner689AI

Deerinheadlights: a simple resignation by the Hag would surfice with an admission that she and BO are wrong about the Muslim Brotherhood being our “friends”. As to my acceptable solution to what happened in Bengazhi would be, that while the seven hour fire fight was going on, would have been to put C-130 gunships over the target area and blow the terrorists to Hell and gone. For a so-called Indian you sure are a [comment has been edited] and a puppet for the fools currently in charge. Too much time collecting welfare on the reservation ?

    • deerinwater

Well run for office coke sucker if you want a little hands on experience.

      • gunner689AI

Dearinheadlights: I prefer Pepsi to Coke and iced tea even better. How’s the firewater treating you redman wantabe ?

    • deerinwater

You are an idiot that dreams of killing people and I am an old war horse that has nightmare from killing people. Seems I missed one.

      • gunner689AI

Deerinheadlights: Oh gee; did I get under your thin skin chief ? Seven yrs. in the USMC with 2 combat tours in Nam gave me way more than enough hands on expierience. Unlike you I don’t have nightmares about killing my enemies. Unlike you I don’t make excuses for political hacks abandoning our troops to the wolves, whether it’s Bill Clinton in Somalia or BO and the Hag in Libya. As to you being a war horse I suspect you’re either pretending to be your noble ancestors or have had your ass kicked in too many bar fights down at the trading post.

      • deerinwater

I see dysfunction men like you everyday, warriors without a purpose, without a war. So them attempt to create one everywhere they go and end up finding themselves alone, can’t keep a woman, can’t keep a job or hold a responsibility, their wounded ego and false sense of valor always getting in the way. I piety you .

      • gunner689AI

Dear: yeah I know what you mean. I see those guys everytime I go to the VA for checkups. It sure is a pity. Far to many men and women come home after war and can’t pick up the pieces of their former lives. Generally speaking society is not kind to returning vets. That was the main reason that in 68 I re-enlisted in the Corps and went back to Nam. Don’t worry about me though. I went to college, got a Masters Degree in Petroleum Geology and have been gainfully employed ever since. For the past 15 years I have been self-employeed; having started a small oil and gas development company. Am about to retire and turn my company over to my son when he gets back from killing your raghead friends in sandland. I will probably start something different and die working. I am very grateful to live in a free country that allowed me to build and grow. That is the type of country I want for my children and grandchildren. I see it dissapearing with the so-called leadership in DC under the socialist policies of this curent administration. Good luck on the res. chief, it sounds like you sold your soul to the Feds. What color blanket did they give you?

      • deerinwater

I have been self employed since 1978, basically doing what I did in the military, ~ Keep the wheels rolling that makes human endeavor possible ~ and recovery & reclaim if I can’t. I serve and protect others as a professional. Without this purpose “to serve” any person could easily become lost.

As for life, it’s all about how you react to it. We can lock ourselves in our own special prison of our own making and scoff at others or engage the day and what opportunities each new minute has to offer.

As for myself, I am overwhelmed with opportunities in-spite of current affairs, government or who fills the first chair. There is only two things that I require and that is my health and purpose, without either one is doomed to certain misery.

And yes, ~ it’s heartbreaking to see people that cannot get on with their lives. In most cases, the only thing that prevents them for doing so is the way they think. Dying from bad character is a slow death.

At 65 I see so many men, beaten down, broken in mind and spirit , teeth missing, bent over, angry and full of hate and they are only 57 to 60. There is a lot of walking wounded among us today, they are no good to themselves or anyone else. They have forgot, ~we prepare for tomorrows success today by living each day to it’s fullest.

We must have responsible government, ~ after 8 years of not having it where it was needed the most, ~ we still suffer , ~ while the demonizing of government is not the solution.

Glad you made it home soldier.

  • gunner689AI

    Yeah thanks; you to Chief.

  • James Corbin

We have four people dead in Benghazi….. You know the president is always informed and he was inforned of needing more back- up, but he wanted the people to think that the terrorist is on the run. He was AWARE!! He thought it would be covered up, especially when Hillary took all responsibility!!!!!! If OBAMA, is elected We are DONE!!!!!!!!!!

    • A Lutz

Guess it’s time for you to leave, then! Buh-bye! Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

Congratulations Democrats! The Party of “We” has triumphed over the Party of “me”!
