King Of The Fundraisers

May 4, 2012 by

Obama is busy raising campaign funds. Although Barack Obama condemned “the corrosive influence of money in politics” in his State of the Union speech this year, it turns out that he wants to get his hands on as much of it as possible. A new book by Brendan J. Doherty, The Rise of the President’s Permanent Campaign, says that Obama has held more re-election fundraising events since taking office than the combined total of all five of his predecessors in the Oval Office. Doherty found that as of March 6, Obama had held 104 fundraisers.

How your money is spent. Three years ago, Barack Obama promised that his stimulus program would “create or save” 16,000 jobs in New Hampshire. Turns out he was only off by 15,155 jobs. The latest audit of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act confirmed that the $766.5 million in taxpayer dollars spent in the Granite State paid for the equivalent of 845 full-time jobs. Don’t you love how your taxes are “invested”?

Why not just reduce her taxes? I’m glad to report that the pious fraud known as the Buffett Rule seems to be dead in the water — at least this year. The measure to raise taxes on America’s millionaires got a lot of publicity when Warren Buffett complained that his secretary was taxed at a higher rate than he was. Before the measure is reintroduced in Congress, I have a different suggestion: Why not reduce Federal spending enough so that we could lower everyone’s taxes? That would certainly help stimulate our economy, don’t you think?

How the Obamas reduced their taxes. And speaking of lowering taxes, here’s something to consider: Even though the top income-tax rate in this country is close to 40 percent, our President and his wife paid only half that figure last year. How? By giving away 22 percent of their income to charity. While I applaud their altruistic generosity, isn’t it interesting to note that they were in effect saying they thought private charity would spend their money more effectively than if they paid it in taxes and let government do it? Hmmmm.

    An update on Obama fundraising:

As of April 29: “Since [March 6th], Obama has held another 20 fundraisers, bringing his total to 124. Carter held four re-election fundraisers in the 1980 campaign, Reagan zero in 1984, Bush Snr 19 in 1992, Clinton 14 in 1996 and Bush Jnr 57 in 2004.”

He started running for re-election before he was sworn in in 2009, his ego is so big and I for one want to know what he’s hiding by not showng all his Legal papers not the forged ones ie: Birth cetificate, draft card and Soc. sec card (from Conn)school records, how his education waspaid for (foriegn exchange student??) and the list goes on.

All recent presidents have been campaigning from day one. Obama is no different. That doesn’t mean that’s a good thing.
Now with Super PACs escalating the election budgets it can only get worse. More money than God to counter the opposing sides demands that it will always be a constant battle for fundraising and campaigning.
It’s the only way now to be a politician. Without more money they just can’t compete.

Well maybe Thats a job he could do, bECAUSE AS THE pRESIDENT HE HAS DONE LITTLE OR NOTHING FOR THIS cOUNTRY OR ITS pEOPLE.
Sure wish i could find a job where i could get paid for running around the country on other peoples money Trying to keep that Job,
All Politicians while trying to be reelected should be docked for all the Days, weeks and years they are campaigning for themselves and other Politicians, But whoever said they ever did work at the job they were elected to do, Sorry they work for themselves and friends and not the Country or its People.
SO much for how we the people control our Politicians. We should go and replace these people with Productive workers, Just like you and me.

Folks you do have to remember the same Politicians MAKE the Laws, And most of these laws allow them to do what ever they want, Also protects them.

This guy has been campaigning 31/2 years besides ruining our economy. Republicans dont baby up to Hollywood. O is a hypocrite about rich people. His wife goes into a shelter in DC sop kitchen in $350 tennis shoes and someone wants to say Romney has a expensive shirt on? At least Rom got is the honest way. Work. Something a liberal hates to hear.
