Khamenei: Iran Will Fight Against Any U.S. Action

Amid speculation that the U.S. will launch military attacks on Iran, the country’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warns that any “inappropriate action” will be met with decisive response.

According to Daily Times, a Pakistani news outlet, Iranians deny any involvement whatsoever in the alleged attempted assassination plot against the Saudi foreign minister in Washington, D.C., that was announced by the Department of Justice last week. Many Iranian lawmakers and analysts have come forward and said that Iran would not benefit in any way by assassinating the diplomat in the United States.

“If American officials are entertaining any illusions, they should know that any inappropriate action — whether political or security-related — will meet with the Iranian people’s decisive response,” said Khamenei in a speech in western Iran, according to his official website. “The Islamic republic of Iran will face off any plot, or destructive or obstructive measures, with all its might.”

The Iranian official also said in his speech that the announcement of the plot — which many American analysts have called dubious or likened to a “bad Hollywood script” — was an attempt by Justice Department officials to draw attention away from other issues going on in the U.S., including protests and government scandals. He said that the U.S. is coming unraveled because of government officials’ “undignified accommodation of Zionists” and that “the flames of their [the American people’s] rage would indeed set the system of Hegemony afire and burn it into ashes.”

“You have turned your back to your people. You are hated by most of them. The Islamic Republic is otherwise where the large national participation points to the nation’s firm resolve and perseverance against any conspiracy,” Khamenei said.

INFOWARS.COM reports that the U.S. military has already mobilized a large-scale exercise over the Mideast to pressure Iran by deploying 41 giant transports of the 22nds Airlift Squadron on Monday and putting ground troops on “full alert.” Israeli, Egyptian and Saudi armies are also reportedly standing by for active military conflict.

Don’t misunderstand, I’m not advocating military action, I think we’re far too trigger happy as it is. I favor limited, covert activities when necessary, similar to the Bin Laden caper. However, this quote is eerily similar to the nonsense the tough guys from Iraq were saying prior to the Iraq wars and these tough guys fought to a draw with the tough guys from Iraq. I don’t know what the truth is concerning this incident but I have some advice for the tough guys from Iran. Don’t talk tough, don’t issue threats, it only makes you sound like an idiot. You couldn’t beat Iraq. Israel would kick your butt in less than a week. Find some fall guys, issue a statement that they were acting on their own, move on, keep your yap shut.

I think that insteadof getting theUS into another conflect and losing more of our military heros we should tell Aribia “We did our part by protecting your ambasidor now we leave it up to you to handle as you see fit”.
The U.S. cannot afford protecting another contry(WHO HATES US)
Let them use some of the money that they havebeen screwing us out of with thier oil prices

    • 45caliber

I agree. Let Saudi do the fighting this time. We should just watch.

      • Bus

Hey Khomenie, is that a drone I see circling above??

      • http://naver samurai

I second that motion. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

    • Bob McCormick

I take issue with the comment that they have been screwing us. It’s a business transaction, if you don’t like the price don’t buy the oil. The fact is that since OPEC took over oil production in the 70s the fools in Washington have seen fit to ignore the fact that we need a sane energy plan and as long as we could afford to fill up the SUV we were content to do so. We need to change the mindset of blaming others for our problems.

This accusation regarding Iran was and is a deflective ploy by the Obama administration. They wish to keep us busy so that we will not pay attention to what the administration is really, really doing. The OWS is also an attention getter to Obamas failed policies. America had better get its act together before its too late. The Repubs are not much help as well. Everybody is out for the buck. Wake up America and take charge as WE THE PEOPLE shall prevail.

    • 45caliber

Agreed. It might even give them excuse to declare martial law here.

      • independant thinker

I do not think this act is enough by itself but it could be used as a one of several incidents to “justify” martial law.

    • wrsrvn67

I could be wrong , but I think you are right Pam. I personally think this is an elaborate Obama plan to set up a MAJOR conflict and an excuse to declare Martial Law Obama will stop at nothing to be re-elected.. This is just the big set up for Martial Law . Only time will tell….

  • Jacques Cuse

    Dear John,

Of all the ‘brave’ soldiers who managed to return from Iraq and Afghanistan to the US alive around 150 of them are commiting suicide every week. Bin Laden died 10 years ago, and Navy SEAL team 6 was eliminated for knowing. 9/11 was an inside job killing again more of your fellow countrymen. And about ALL Americans are treading and even dancing on their once marvellous Constitution (Yes, capital C!), with the election of a NON-ELIGIBLE candidate for president as the final insane showstopper.

How come you’re still proud of your silly bunch of warmongers, killers, idiots, cheats and liars? Maybe because you’re one of them? And then, you haven’t understood f*ck-all of the native population of the countries in the orient. History has proven that they’re no cowards and definitely not weak. With equal military means they would kick the butt of any army…, ten times over. Just look at what’s happening in Afghanistan, some bearded guys armed with AK-47′s, home-made bombs and unguided rocket launchers against the most powerful, well-equipped army in the world…

    • Al Sieber

      I agree!

    • Thor

“some bearded guys armed with AK-47′s, home-made bombs and unguided rocket launchers against the most powerful, well-equipped army in the world…”

There is a simple remedy for this: change the rules of engagement and change the outcome.

The military has never been an appropriate ‘political tool.’ It is perhaps the right tool when all else fails. But, if you are going to send it then let it do its job, pull it out when it’s done and let a defeated enemy think about its indiscretions in the wake of defeat and with the promise that ‘it can happen again.’

We have invaded two countries to put the point of the sword to the throat of Iran. We should either complete the task or leave.

      • 45caliber

I fully agree with this. I’ve always said it is an error on our part to invade and then try to rebuild the country. We should hit hard, finish the job, and then pull out after telling the survivors that the entire thing was their fault for allowing the actions of the previous government there – and that if they do it again we’ll be back to REALLY mess up the place.

    • 45caliber

The only reason they do any good at all against our military is because our military isn’t allowed to do what they are trained to do.

The idea of war is very clear. If someone shoots at you, you shoot back. If they try to attack, you destroy their organization, their soldiers, and their equipment. And you destroy their ability to make more. Our military isn’t allowed to do that. We weren’t in Vietnam nor in any thing else since then. It is stupid.

      • Jacques Cuse

But the Russian army WAS allowed to do whatever was necessary and came with a powerful army and very heavy equipment. They didn’t manage either, because there always seems someone eager to help the underdogs with money, equipment and training. It was the US who helped against the Russians, and now they are reaping the storm as a result of the wind they once sowed.

America is and was good at this stupid game of “creating enemies”. An early example: In 1946 it would have taken the Dutch marines 2 months max to clean the country of remaining Japs and the communists who had taken the power, and then reinstate peace and order in the then Dutch East Indies (Indonesia). The USA wouldn’t let them and thus things lingered on for three years causing many losses on both sides and getting nobody nowhere.

The puppet masters running the show in the USA don’t give a damn about whether Dutch, American, English, or whoevers sons and daughters are being sacrificed for their money grubbin’ games.

        • 45caliber

Sorry but the Russian army never had anything close to what we do. Especially now.

    • Jay

You nailed it Jacque! It’s high time we stop sacrificing our man and women in order to satisfy the desires of a bunch of power-mad, lunatics!

    • metalflyer11

You are one of the few that knows what is going on. I agree 100%

  • Thor

“the Iranian people’s decisive response” –this phrase should perhaps be clarified by the Ayatollah: is it going to be decisive because the Iranian people have ‘decided to act’; or is it going to be decisive because the ‘action taken will end the conflict’? The equivocation here seems routed in the fact that a nation presumed to be a non-nuclear nation has boasted the capability to end a conflict with the oldest and presumably best equipped nuclear nation on earth. How does one suppose this shall be accomplished? Is there something the Iranians are not telling us?

    • Lost in Paradise

Iran has been rattling sabres for too long and it is tiresome.

      • Thor

      • eddie47d

The US has also been rattling sabers for too long. What has it really accomplished? You poke an “enemy” and they could again retaliate within our country. Next time they could be better coordinated on several fronts. Stick to diplomacy and quite the saber rattling.

        • Jay

Totally agree, eddie! Curious, how they are always painted as the bad guys. That alone should make one suspect foul play. Damn the media and the corrupted, bloodthirsty savages who’s only allegiance is to the war machine!

        • Patriot II

ed, you may be right, maybe this IS part of Obama’s plan to finally bring war with in our Borders so the OWG can geet a better foot hold with marxism.

        • http://naver samurai

I can honestly agree with you on this one Ed. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Marten

Looooost in Paradis, you are really lost

    • 45caliber

I suspect that 1) they expect a simultanious uprising by all the Muslems in the world, including the US, if they call for it, 2) they expect the people of the US to be weak-willed (as they have been the last forty years or so) and cave in, and 3) they believe that they have enough nukes to hit a couple of big cities such as New York and Houston and scare the cr@p out of us to make us surrender.

  • 45caliber

From everything I’ve been able to find out about this event, the plot leader was Iranian – but the Iranian government had nothing to do with it. Further, it was badly planned. So if we do get involved with Iran over it, it is quite likely only an excuse to have us attack Iran rather than a real reason.

  • sybucket

I hate to say this considering it is Iran and I would’t normeally believe anuything they said, but the thought occured to me that this whole assination thing may have been set up by Obama as a “stalking horse” for the 2012 election. If he can start a war with Iran, our principle enemy on the planet, he stands a good chance of Re-election. He makes himself look like he’s defending America from the principle purveyer of Terrorism. The answer to what is really going on is to take a page from Watergate and “Follow the money”. If the Iranian under arrest promised to pay $1.5 million and DID pay $100,000, where did it come from? Following the money shold lead us to the truth of whats really going on and who is really guilty. The sceptics of this plot are right, assanating the Saudi Ambassador on US soil gains Iran nothing.

  • Clint

Good sources have disclosed that this plot is fabricated and indeed a window of opportunity for an Israel attack on Iran is imminent. From everything that is happening in the world the only way for corrupt governments to remain in control over their respective populations is to beat the war drums again. Hopefully, I am wrong and the sources are just being overly astute. Since most people in the know realize that the United States government will stand with Israel no matter what atrosities it commits, only a slight provocation is needed.

  • Patriot II

    This is my Belief:

    America was founded on Christianity.

Iran, like much of the World is mostly made up of Anti-Christian.

There are only two sides to this when you boil it down to End times.

Are you on the Christain Side, or the Anti-Christian Side?

Christ teaches you are justifed in defending yourself. If we are not with Christ we are against Him. We need to pray for them to covert to Christs ways first and formost, but if we are not for Chirst’s ways are we not with them?

    • Marten

” Violence” is the last refuge of the Incompetent and I do not see any shortage of Incompetents lately…the murdering American Scum

    • http://naver samurai

Good post, fellow patriot! Keep up the good fight! Marten, just be quiet as you know nothing about our country or our founding. Just go back under the rock you were under, troll. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • Jay

This is another Mossad-CIA false flag!

  • peter

Isn’t it amazing how we fall for scams so easily? No wonder the potus is so smug – he knows just how stupid we are! If anyone thinks we are not stupid then what is he doing in the whitehouse? Did’nt we put him there?

  • Jay

Contrary to myth being fabricated, Islam does not pose a threat to the West. Rather, Islamic “terrorist” organizations have been created to serve Western imperialistic objectives.

  • Morduin00

I have the perfect solution. Since the US has an aging nuclear weapons program and Obama wants to disarm the US, why don’t we deposit them in Iran (from altitude). The extensive heat wave that would follow would provide the US with glass to make all the solar panels they need, permanently shut up the theocracy that calls itself a republic, wipe out Afghanistan and Pakistan from a nuclear winter and make room for the US to house more modern weapons.

    • Jacques Cuse

No Morduin, my solution is much better than yours. From what you’re writing it’s quite obvious that you’re going senile, thus you must be aging. So, let’s deposit you in Iran (from altitude).

Your fat dumb behind is so full of it that all Iranians will be up sh-t creek for good. We’d recover so much methane from it that we wouldn’t need the solar panels, so we’d save money. With that gas your army in Afghanistan could stay warm during the nuclear winter and wouldn’t have to buy heating fuel from Haliburton for only $21.48/gallon. Again more savings for your suffering economy.

The ‘more modern weapon’ that you wanted to house over there already has a place of his own: The White House. Its occupant is the most powerful ‘FULL OF IT’ weapon in the universe. It could get all of us together up shit creek!

  • Questions

Tough talk, that is until the bombs start falling. They are then hard to find. Hiding out until it’s over. Just like bin-Laden.

  • http://gunner689 gunner689

The only good jihadist is a dead jihadist and knits do make lice. Unfortunately we have become a paper tiger and Iran will waltz into Iraq the day after we leave. If we must tolerate these sub-humans then I suggest we get together with the other food producing nations and start FOPEC; food for oil. A barrel of oil for a bushel of wheat. They stop the flow of oil we stop the flow of food. Let’s see how long they can eat sand and pistacios.
