Justin Bieber Apologizes To Bill Clinton For Video Insult

LOS ANGELES,  (UPI) –  Pop star Justin Bieber said on Twitter he apologized to former U.S. President Bill Clinton for spraying his photo with cleaning fluid in an online video.

Bieber, 19, can also be heard saying, “[Expletive] Bill Clinton,” and seen urinating into a restaurant kitchen mop bucket during the 45-second clip, which TMZ posted on the Internet Wednesday.

The video, which was viewed more than 400,000 times on YouTube, was taped in New York City earlier this year, the celebrity news website said.

It is unclear who shot the clip or gave it to TMZ. Also unknown is why Bieber had any issue with Clinton.

The Hill reported the singer contacted the former president Wednesday evening to apologize after he was widely criticized for his rude behavior.

“@billclinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy,” Bieber tweeted after their conversation.

A source told E! News Clinton, 66, was forgiving about the incident and the insider paraphrased him as telling Bieber, “If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well.”

E! said Bieber also offered to help out with the ex-commander-in-chief’s Clinton Global Initiative to make amends.
