Jay Carney Asserts That Any Question Challenging The President Is Birtherism

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has been soliciting donations from private sector healthcare providers to help set up portions of Obamacare. Sounds like a potential conflict of interest, right?

Well, CBS news chief Major Garrett thought so too and asked White House press secretary Jay Carney if there was potential for scandal.

Carney promptly wrote the question off as just another right-wing conspiracy.

“Do the questions raised about HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and her efforts to raise funds though the private sector for Enroll Now fall into that category?” asked Garrett.

“We can go down the list of questions,” Carney replied. “We can say: ‘What about the President’s birth certificate. Was that legitimate?’”

“I’m asking about Sebelius,” Garrett said. “I’m not asking about that.”

If the question is embarrassing just ridicule it and hope the weak minded don’t catch on.
It’s easy to see what makes this administration the most nervous by how they handle the question.
