  • Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif insisted Wednesday that the Obama Administration mischaracterizes concessions by his side in the six-month nuclear deal with Iran, telling CNN in an exclusive interview that “we did not agree to dismantle anything.” Source: CNN… 

 

  • The Obama Administration is worried that Israel is riling up American Jews, according to a report in the Israeli press.   • Edward Snowden is expected to offer his opinion of President Obama’s NSA reforms during a Webcast question-and-answer session on Thursday. It will be Snowden’s first live chat since he began releasing classified internal documents last June that revealed the National Security Agency’s surveillance programs, according to FreeSnowden.is, the support site hosting the hour-long Q&A.   • More than 6.3 million Americans were deemed eligible for government healthcare plans for the poor since the October 1 launch of President Barack Obama’s healthcare law through December, Federal officials reported on Wednesday. That figure swamps the 2.2 million people who had purchased private health insurance on the state-based Obamacare marketplaces that launched on October 1. Source: Reuters…

 

  • Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker proposed $800 million in tax cuts Wednesday evening, representing most of the state’s $912 million revenue surplus. Half of the cuts would be achieved through property tax reductions, and the other half would come via lower payroll taxes, as well as lower income tax rates for the lowest state bracket. “What do you do with a surplus?  Give it back to the people who earned it.  It’s your money,” the Governor’s speech stated.   • The Pentagon has eased rules that have made it difficult for some service members to wear religious clothing or beards required by their faith. Until now each military service had its own rules for how to make religious accommodations for their service members. Source: ABC News…
