Increased Security Expected On 9/11 Anniversary

According to POLITICO , the Pentagon announced earlier this week that it would raise security levels at military installments throughout the country as the anniversary of 9/11 approaches.

The White House said there have been no specific threats of a terrorist attack tied to the anniversary but the Administration of Barack Obama will remain vigilant through the anniversary and beyond. Concerns about the possibility of an attack on the anniversary stem from documents recovered from the compound where Osama bin Laden was killed that mentioned the anniversary of 9/11.

Increased police patrols throughout urban centers in the United States are expected. In addition, more intense scrutiny is planned at airports, train stations, seaports and any areas where large groups may be gathered.

Plans to tamper with an unspecified U.S. rail track so that a train would fall off in a valley or from a bridge were found on handwritten notes pulled from bin Laden’s hideout. Al-Qaida planners noted that if they attacked a train by tilting the track, the plan would succeed only once because the tilting would be spotted the next time. U.S. officials believe that the idea never left the planning stage.

According to The Associated Press, the Obama Administration is more worried about single acts of terrorism in the country.

“The risk that we’re especially concerned over right now is the lone-wolf terrorist, somebody with a single weapon being able to carry out wide-scale massacres of the sort that we saw in Norway recently,” Obama said in a recent briefing.

In July, a Norwegian man dressed as a police officer and armed with rifles and pistols carried out an hour-long massacre, indiscriminately killing members of a youth camp on Utoya, an island 25 miles from Oslo, Norway’s capital. When he finished, 69 were dead. Nearly half of the victims were under the age of 18. The extremist had earlier set off the bomb in central Oslo, killing eight.

This is the perfect example of how the Govt. controls the masses through fear.

    • James

Al, Are you saying our government was complicit in the 9/11 slaughter, or are you saying the government is just trying to scare us with false warnings?

      • Vic Bailey

I’m saying that the Socialist Bastards will do ANYTHING, Say ANYTHING, and Hire ANYBODY to keep us in fear and THEM in power, and if you can’t see that, go get a seeing eye dog!! They do it so blantantly now days, they don’t care, because they know, NOBODY will do anything about their actions because of the ammount of people involved are on their side, from high ranking officals to Federal Judges, they think they own us, lock, stock and barrel, WRONG!! The people are waking up to the crap, and people like Ron Paul are waking us up. Semper Fi.

Al is 100% correct as well as Vic, you indicate you need more info than government propaganda. Government has to spread fear to support socialist patriot act going. They need to convince citizens we must throw the trillions at worthless wars in the middle east. Congress is simply protecting investments, check wealth of congressmen coming into DC and how much leaving. Hear of insider trading, really easy when you control the tax payer money. Conscientious citizens would demand getting troops out of middle east and other police actions if they find there’s not a real threat. Afghanistan built bases that will defend Haliburton’s pipeline for oil. You pay the cost,

Vic and azwayne, thanks for your support, and James what do you think?

J, you seem oblivious to what’s going on in America. When we were stuck with the ‘Patriot’ ruse, it became open season on the American people. Our government is not that much different than Hitler’s Germany. Back then, when the government made an announcement, everyone was expected to stiffen their backs ands salute. If they didn’t actually say it, they were supposed to think in terms of ‘sieg heil.’
We’re close to that point now. If you can find ways to suck up to the government, then do the rest of us a favor. Put on your chains. Then, when we see you in public, we’ll know who you are and how to treat you.

The first partial answer in straightening out the economy is, of course, to get rid of BHO and his entire administration-lock, stock and barrel. Then, Congress should overtake the the Federal Reserve and conduct a complete investigation for the past 50 years, focusing on the last 20.
A Conservative administration in place, hopefully, try to undo the damage done to the DOD, military, etc. , making it as strong as possible in the shortest time. This will no easy deal as the Oblamer administration has done its best to tear it apart over the last 3 years.

I agree with Vic’s comment above. Have you noticed how BHO’s tone has somewhat changed from his balls-out-move-toward-socialism-fast attitude since the appointment of Boehner as SOTH? He knows there are more Conservatives out there than he cares to realize. And he is scared to death of Rick Perry. If elected, Perry would first look at economic and defense issues, then, perhaps, he would go after Obama, etc. For prosecution of crimes abusing his presidential influence, ie, recent executive orders.

I was a little anxious when one of the speakers on Fox last night after BHO’s job speech stated that a new conservative President would undo Obamacare, “….as much as could be undone.” This is curious to me. Just why can’t it ALL be undone?

His address last night IS more of the same. He is like a cheap salesman asking for the business” with his incessant harangue to “….pass this Bill-pass my Bill, pass this Bill right away” with the same old, “…we have to pass it in order to find out what’s in it-crap…”. When did this type of thinking become acceptable to ANYONE?

I am reminded of the Obama mantra of never letting a good crisis go to waste. I’m just wondering if the Administration hasn’t embellished or assisted in the terror threat in order to make BHO look like a cool-headed thinker in control of the situation. Sure wouldn’t put it past him or his buddies. If so, it would be a terrible thing to do to the people of the US.
