Illegal Drugs Spur Mass Murders In Mexico

Authorities believe a drug war is to blame for numerous deaths in Mexico.

The dismembered corpses of 43 men and six women were found on the side of a highway in Cadareyta Jimenez, an area in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.

The head, feet and hands had been cut off of each of the victims, making identification nearly impossible. However, some of the bodies are tattooed, which may lead to their identification.

In a message left with the bodies, the Zetas, a brutal drug gang, claimed responsibility for the crime. The gang has been involved in a bloody war with other gangs over drug smuggling routes and cocaine supply. Authorities note that the group has previously targeted Mexicans migrating to the United States.

This is not the first mass murder in Mexico this year. In August, 52 people died in an arson attack. Last Wednesday, 18 decapitated bodies were found in Guadalajara. Two weeks ago, 14 dismembered bodies were found in Nuevo Laredo and nine were discovered hanging from a bridge.

The cities where crimes have taken place form a triangle that has been labeled the “Triangle of Death.” Of the 4,832 missing people cases in Mexico between 2006 and 2011, about 80 percent disappeared in the triangle.

“They’re fighting across the whole country with complete impunity,” said security analyst Alberto Islas. “The government has to send out a very clear signal they will stop the violence and find those responsible.”

There is no drug problem in America, that was wiped out during the Reagan administration when Nancy told everyone to just say “No”– Mission Accomplished.Just another wonder from the Reagan years.LOL

      • old hillbilly

Simply one overwhelming reason we must control borders & send the illegal invaders back across the border.. A demanding reason to remove Obama and his progressive dems & rhinos who make this possible!

      • http://naver samurai

Just think Jopa, though it would be impossible with you, if we don’t keep these poisons off of the streets, many of our cities will start looking like this. Some already have gangs killing people because of drugs like Dallas, LA, New York, Chicago, etc. So much for your stupidity about what the war on drugs is really about. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

    • eddie47d

Mexico didn’t have this serious problem a few years back but once the Conservatives like Calderon became president all hell broke loose. The war on drugs is a failure there too.

      • http://naver samurai

These things didn’t start because of the political party in power, but they started because the government took a stand and wasn’t going to be bought off like the libs were. The conservatives want to rid their country and their people of this disease. If you remember, Obama bin Laden and Eric, Heinrick Himmler, Holder wre bought off by these morons, in which a border agent was killed, more drugs have flowed across the boarder, and many innocent people have been killed on both sides of the border. If the next president, it won’t be Obama bin Laden, decides to send the military to our southern border, they won’t stand a chance. If they give me a chance to stand on the border and keep them out, I’ll have no problem in completing that mission. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

I’m think it goes back much more than that, the drug war started with “Just say No”

  • Sirian

If this isn’t a hoot – “The government has to send out a very clear signal they will stop the violence and find those responsible.” Hmmm, since Calderon has been in office there has supposedly been a “war” against the Cartels. They sure know how to handled it don’t they? What a joke!!!

Anyone check if the Mexican Government is involved? Maybe the dead guys didn’t pay them.

I can only wonder how soon Mexico will request U.S. Troops to enter into the frey. What better way to justify The North American Union. It’s only a matter of time folks and just another way to add to our national debt in order to devalue the dollar.

    • cawmun cents

That would be in violation of the Monroe Doctrine.-CC.

      • http://www.mototcarsfinancial.com Brad

CC this whole administration is a violation, what difference could another make to their hidden agenda?

  • Hubert Eysermans

We have so make sure that the US borders (and especially the US-Mexico border) are opened up so that the US citizens can enjoy the Mexican culture and influence to the fullest.
How can our government cotrol the people any longer without the fear of daily kidnappings and mass murders?
I cannot help but wonder how much the Obama Administration pays to fund the Mexican drug cartels.
Fast and Furious was no accident or something that went wrong.
The only thing that went wrong is that the public found out about it.

How many American citizens have been killed as a resutl of the government not enforcing the immigration laws to the fullest extend of the law?
How many more have to die for political expediency?

    • Nobody’s Fool

The US gov’mint can’t be bothered with fighting crime along the border, they are too busy working up their lawsuit against Sheriff Joe for enforcing federal immigration laws!!

    • http://www.mototcarsfinancial.com Brad

Hubert just wait until the UN and Billary go door to door collecting your food, gold, silver and guns. Lock and Loan Patriots!!

  • http://peresonallibertydigest.. gottaplenty

We still have a chance to stop the carnage from our side. Every one getting a Govt. check of any kind ,me included, s s or any thing paid by govt.manditory to take a drug test to get the check,. Then only if you are clean get paid. Get the stats on how much welfare and ssi money goes to Mex. for drugs. If the source of easy money was stopped there would not be turf wars. . then let them kill one another off. Now watch the looney left get all over this statement..

    • 45caliber

      gottaplenty

I would LOVE to see a mandatory requirement for drug testing to receive their welfare checks! And of all the family as well, not just the one getting the check.

      • jopa

Wait until Romney gets done with your Veterans benefits, Medicare, Medicaid and your Socialism Security check. Then they may be drug testing you for your welfare benefits.

      • http://naver samurai

You mean after Obama bin Laden gets done with them, Jopa. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

P.S. All of these things are not authorized under the Constitution anyway.

      • 45caliber

jopa: I don’t have a bit of problem being drug tested to get a SS check. I’d pass with flying colors and so would my wife.

    • 45caliber

Incidently we already HAVE the “carnage on our side”. Check the murder rate in Houston, for instance. According to one police friend working there, over half the murders are due to the various drug cartels busy killing each other or members of their own group. And about 90% are drug related.

  • steve in AZ

Legalize drugs. It’s the only answer.Besides…

    RON PAUL 2012!!!

    • http://naver samurai

Legalize drugs? What the h^^^ hve you been smoking? FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • wallace

Remember this war is being funded by Americans who want these drugs. this war is our responcibility. we are funding it. our drug laws are supporting it. our demand for drugs are causing it.

    • 45caliber

There is a way to solve that demand for drugs. The US used it in the 1920s to stop it then. It’s called “prison at hard labor”. Of course, now, “hard labor” is considered torture for those welfare recipients.

  • 45caliber

“Authorities believe a drug war is to blame for numerous deaths in Mexico.”

No kidding, Sherlocks!! I can see why you are now police! You brilliantly solve cases by reasoning them out. Of course, if you actually LISTENED to some of the citizens, you could figure out those cases a lot quicker!

    • jopa

I thought it was a Taco war.

  • roger gunderson

Prohibition is the culprit. When our mommy and daddy government prohibit we the people from having something we want then all the flow goes underground and sets up a very criminal world. Our Government does not have a constitutional right to prohibit me from putting what ever I want into my body. By ending prohibition, the price of drugs would sink to almost nothing, the drug war would end. All our spineless government has to do is look back a few years to alcohol prohibition.

    • 45caliber

      roger:

In answer to your comments about legalizing drugs, perhaps you should do a little research on why drugs were made illegal in the first place. Things like rising crime and the destruction of families.

      • jopa

“Drugs were made illegal in the first place because of rising crime and the destruction of families”.It doesn’t look like it’s working. Also I thought it to be criminal to shoot someones family member.

      • http://naver samurai

Well said fellow patriot, but just expect Jopa to understand. The 5th column doesn’t believe in common sense. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • 45caliber

        jopa:

It worked fine for about fifty years. The reason it isn’t working now is that the judges (possible drug users?) declared it wrong to require our criminals to work at “hard labor”. So there isn’t any real punishment for it any more. In fact, many of the prisoners PREFER to be in prison since they don’t have to think and have everything ready for them.

As one prisoner told me one time, “Why should I want to get out? I have food three times a day, free clothes, a bed to sleep in, and my ho in the next bunk. And I have you fools (guards) to wait on me.)

    • http://naver samurai

Too much kool aid. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • sabulaman

I wonder if Holder made sure there was plenty of ammunition with those guns when they crossed the border?

  • ranger hall

Same old garbage, Look at all the Money our govt sends to Mexico and all of our our Agents including Military, And the Drugs keep flowing, and the killings continue, Makes you wonder who on both sides of the Border is getting some of this money, Never seems to get Better, ??? You would think with the Mexican Govt troops and all our money sent to fight drugs, We could see some results, Garbage In, Garbage Out.
Well welcome to the USA in about 10 years

  • V

And yet ALL The Government Agencies that should make sure US Borders are Secure REFUSE TO DO SO!!!!
Cut off ALL Froeign Aid and watch these problems start to go away!!!

  • T. Jefferson

Send more guns, maybe they will kill each other off.

    • eddie47d

      So typical!

    • 45caliber

      T.

A friend of mine in the Houston PD said he’d be willing to give the gangs free ammo if they would only use it on each other. The problem is that they tend to get others in the cross-fire.
