Great one, Ben! The part about Anne Dunham really cracked me up !

I wonder how many of the left will really get that one?

    America, the history is repeating.

Alexander Tytler, Lord Woodhouselee (1747 – 1813) was a Scottish philosopher and historian who served as Professor of Universal History, and GREEK and ROMAN Antiquities, in the University of Edinburgh.

Alexander Tytler displayed a cynical view of DEMOCRACY in general and representative democracies such as REPUBLICS in particular. He believed
that “a pure democracy is a CHIMERA” and that “All governments is essentially of the NATURE OF A MONARCHY.”

Do not you recognize the American “monarchial” dynasties?

    Kennedys, Bushes and Clintons.

Tytler explained that in the reality in the Athenian democracy the population were actually ENSLAVED “under the banners of the DEMAGOGUES” who maintained them “by the most shameful CORRUPTION and BRIBERY, of which the means were supplied alone by the plunder of the public money.” (Tytler, Political reflections arising from the history of Greece, p. 216)

About the MEASURE OF FREEDOM enjoyed by the people in a republic or democracy, Tytler wrote, “The people FLATTER THEMSELVES that they have the sovereign power. These are, in fact, words WITHOUT meaning. It is true they elected governors; but how are these elections brought about? In every instance of election by the mass of a people—through the influence of those governors themselves, and by means the most opposite to a free and disinterested choice, by the BASEST CORRUPTION and BRIBERY. But those governors once selected, where is the boasted freedom of the people? They MUST submit to their RULE and CONTROL, with the same ABANDONMENT of their NATURAL LIBERTY, the FREEDOM OF THEIR WILL, and the command of their actions, as if they were under the RULE OF A MONARCH.” (Tytler, Political reflections arising from the history of Greece, p. 217)

“While man is being instigated by the LOVE OF POWER … he will seek personal SUPERIORITY in preference to EVERY MATTER of a general concern … [H]e will employ himself in advancing the public good … he will promote the interest of the state from the selfish but most useful passion of making himself considerable in that establishment which he labors to aggrandize. Such is the true picture of man as a political agent.” (Tytler, Political reflections arising from the history of Greece, p. 219)

Tytler believed that DEMOCRATIC FORMS OF GOVERNMENT such as those of Greece and Rome have a natural evolution from initial virtue toward eventual CORRUPTION and DECLINE.

    Isn’t true?

    • Deerinwater

      So what’s new?

Any construct of man is subject to corruption and decay and goes without saying.

“Kennedys, Bushes and Clintons.” ~ “monarchial” dynasties?

No not really, ~ Political animals that understood what the comic Woody Allen meant when he said, “The world is ran by the people that bother to show up”.

Some people have a keen eye for opportunity , this is a learned and developed skill and usually starts early with parental imprinting.

I am a Skilled Tradesman because my father was. I was US Army Infantry because my father was. I am a product of my environment, a conservative democrat because my father was.

Now that some would associate me as a liberal and a believer of a “free lunch” is an act that they have “elected to do”. I don’t claim responsibility for what they choose to think.

With all the Corporate Welfare that has been advanced by both parties over the last 40 years which started with Reagan, I fail to seen how either party can claim to be conservatives. ~ That democrats don’t while republicans do, makes for only one liar in the bunch.

That said, ~ I’ve learned not to believe them and stay suspicious of their motives in all things. They would claim that lower taxes stimulates the economy and incites job growth. Such claims offers great appeal to the conservative mind. That it failed to materialize few want to ask why. ~ It’s perhaps too difficult of a question to answer for the answer is just too simple as money and power has to be extracted from people, we can’t expect it to come freely and this is where legislation comes into play, rewarding some and penalizing others though mandate.

The labor earned dollar has been under attack for the last 40 years. A liberal socialist system is being employed to allow it to continue to avoid rioting in the streets and major upheaval as this attack continues today. `

That some enjoy the benefit of “investment earned dollar ” while despise the socialistic system that allows it to continue is understandable but not a very wide view of what is occurring today in America.

Enough already, ~ Federal legislation that rewards, penalizes and subsidizes ~ is where the rubber meets the road and where most of our problems lie.

          Dear Jay,
Sadly, yes what you posted is “100% TRUE.”
What’s even more so sad is that of 330 Million SOULS in America, perhaps no more than 10 million even know about what you posted.
What’s even more sad than that, — is that all this information is out there – yet so few even care to find it, let alone so few can even ~ “Comprehend” what’s written within the text you posted.
As the sheep line up for slaughter, but the lines are nice and tight as well even and well balanced, after all that’s far more important to be well presented when the TIME comes.
Peace and Love, May the Holy Sprit open all your hearts to the Love and Wisdom of Jesus Christ.

        Yo Deer,

“Enough already, ~ Federal legislation that rewards, penalizes and subsidizes ~ is where the rubber meets the road and where most of our problems lie”.

Your last paragraph says it all!

      • macgyver1948

Hi Deerinwater … pretty good. I like your last paragraph too. I would add it is demoralizing too if it goes to the undeserving and the unjustified but if people can prove need and that they “qualify” they should get the level of help they need. Isn’t that what the Christian Messiah Jesus would say. something like that?

        • TheOriginalDaveH

You are always free, MacGyver, to help anybody you want voluntarily with your own money.

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH… I do as often as I can and I am happy to but I would never want to take your money. I know how much helping others who deserve and qualify would anger you. :-). Compassion seems to be a nasty concept to people such as you so your money is safe from me.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

I doubt seriously, MacGyver, that you have done as much for other people in your life as I have.
You are lying when you say — “but I would never want to take your money” — because you do that every time you vote for a Progressive politician. That fact that you hire somebody else to be your proxy thief does not absolve you from guilt.
And you aren’t “compassionate”, MacGyver, when you donate other people’s money. You are just a common ordinary thief.

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH… You are very funny when you say things such as you “doubt seriously, MacGyver, that you have done as much for other people in your life as I have. But you are lying when you say — “but I would never want to take your money” — because you do that every time you vote for a Progressive politician”.

I could just as easily say you have to support the evil from your Tea Party and their evil connections but who cares, Right? Then, by using your words, your guilt is not absolved either by supporting and defending them with the TPGOP Government Shutdown as it hurt so many and our economy. With the huge potential to hurt so much more the longer it lasted Nor does it absolve your guilt for supporting the side, the TPGOP, who caused the countries borrowing money rating to
fall from AAA in 2011. Or how you support the greedy apathetic corporations over those people of our country who aren’t very wealthy or a huge corporation. I suppose those are you faults too if we use your logic. Who is the “just a common ordinary thief” in those?

I suppose there are all kinds of ways to look at things as we each choose to, but I cannot agree with the things you say of me and the Liberals but I would bet you enjoy making up what you say about those who do not agree with you based want you are told to believe. :-)

          • WTS/JAY

Wow, that’s a lot argle-bargle even for you, mac. Ever heard of “condensing”, or, “coherence” for that matter?

          • TheOriginalDaveH

More argle-bargle. Come back when you learn how to put some coherent thoughts together, MacGyver.

        • http://www.rt.com Alondra

macgyver1948 says: Isn’t that what the Christian
Messiah Jesus would say. something like that?

Stevie, aren’t you Jew who rejects the Christian Messiah Jesus Christ?

What does your Jewish Tanakh, section Ketuvim, book Proverbs (which is one of the three books in Judaism that are called “wisdom books”) says about sluggards?

“Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? WHEN
WILL YOU RISE FROM YOUR SLEEP?” (Proverbs 6:6)

“He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of
the diligent makes rich. He, who gathers in summer is a wise son; He WHO SLEEPS IN HARVEST is a son who causes shame.” (Proverbs 10:4-5)

“The LAZY man does not roast what he took in hunting, but diligence is man’s precious possession.” (Pr.12:27)

“The soul of a LAZY MAN DESIRES, and has NOTHING; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” (Pr.13:4)

“The desire of the sluggard kills him, for HIS HANDS REFUSE TO LABOR. All day long he craves and craves, but the righteous gives and does not hold back.” (Pr.21:25)

“I passed by the field of a sluggard, by the vineyard of a man lacking sense, and behold, it was all overgrown with thorns; the ground was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down…A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and POVERTY WILL COME UPON YOU like a robber.” (Pr.24:30)

          The Christian New Testament says:
If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.” (2Thessalonians 3:10-11)

Steve. I’m just wandering: When you’ll stop to spread your stupidity and ignorance?

“Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those, who send him.” (Proverbs 10:26)

          • macgyver1948

Alondra… As a Jew I reject Jesus for myself, as almost all Jews do, but I in no ways reject or deny Christians rights to believing in him however they choose. That would just be wrong.

The Proverbs you offer are indeed wise and good lessons to remember. Proverbs, which are in Writings in the Hebrew Bible just before Ruth and after
Job, is not part of Torah though but that is fine, that doesn’t negate wisdom if it is there to begin with. Neither does it in the New Testament scriptures if wisdom is in there too and there is wisdom in many places there also. Christian Bibles, the many “Old Testaments” (there are way too many changes and
editings and reinterpretations in all those later translations, from the first sanctioned version in the Catholic Bible in the 3rd and 4th centuries on with the later translated and published Protestant versions of their Christian Bibles, receptive of all the publishers wishes in it as well) and the New Testaments” are
just not bibles for Jews to even consider as anything more than other religions’ bibles.

My question to you is from your sentence “Steve. I’m just wandering: When you’ll stop to spread your stupidity and ignorance?”.

Are you referring to my referring to Jesus as the “Christan Messiah”? I did not mean to offend in any way. How is my referring to Jesus in that way, if it is what you refer to here, “stupidity and ignorance”?

I ask because Jesus is a Messiah, as far as I know, only to Christians. Jews do not see Jesus as a Hebrew Messiah because he isn’t, as do not many other religions for them, or a Hebrew King, not even a Prophet, but Jews we do not care if Christians call him a Christian Messiah. We see Jesus only as a mortal man with two totally mortal biological parents and only
as a man from history who happened to be Jewish and a rabbi, nothing more. So that is why I ask.

And if you also refer to my political statements as “stupidity and ignorance” they too can be with those whomever disagrees with them and chooses to see them as “stupidity and ignorance” AND also for those who “Will not be wrong no matter what so those they
disagree with us must be wrong”. :-). What I say doesn’t make me right in the saying, they are only how I see and feel about things just as you feel and see things your ways. You cannot deny others their rights to their beliefs, religiously or politically along with their Freedom of Speech, and assume you believe in Constitutional Liberties equally for all as the Founders wanted for us. Gee, that would make you a huge hypocrite at best if that is what you are doing.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Here’s a fellow, who claims he’s “compassionate” while taking other people’s money against their will to accomplish that “compassion”, calling Alondra a hypocrite?
It must be great to be in Liberal Progressive La La Land.

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH.. I see as usual you see and read only the words you choose to read, only what will support your disagreements, whether true or not, with
the the “missing” words. I did not call “Alondra a hypocrite?” but you often seem to need to see it that way to support your hate for Liberals and your lack of caring for the needs of people. Do you often leave out necessary wording when you read for pleasure, if you
do? It seems when someone does not agree with you you just gotta accuse, don’t ya, even when there is nothing there to accuse with? LOL

Oh TheOriginalDaveH boy, my exact wording and phrasing was “Gee, that would make you a huge hypocrite at best if that is what you are doing”.

Did you deliberately “forget” or NOT “see” the “if that is what you are doing” to support your hateful programming as you so often do when you want to misquote? Do you now see the “’if’ that is what you are doing” part (now) or is it still illusive for you? LOL LOL
            LOL

No, it is right here in America. Not in any “La LA land” you Right guys make up. LOL

          • TheOriginalDaveH

It is difficult to decipher your argle-bargle, MacGyver, so maybe you didn’t directly call Alondra a hypocrite.
LOL LOL…..? I see you’ve gone over the deep end, MacGyver. I guess it was only a matter of time, being a typical hypocritical Liberal Progressive whose principles change with the wind.

          • WTS/JAY

It is no secret that Jews are anti-trinitarians, or, Arianists. Btw, so are Muslims.

          • macgyver1948

WTS/JAY… “no secret” huh? You made that up, Right? Either that or someone lied to you. Jews are not anti anything about the order of the most holy trinity – trinitarians. Do you mean, by Arianists the Arius of the 3rd and 4th century a Christian presbyter in
Alexandria, Egypt, concerning the relationship of God the Father to the Son of God, Jesus Christ. I just looked them up.

Jews are not opposed to Christianity, it is just that Christian religions and bibles contradict Hebrew theology and the Hebrew Bible and we cannot accept what Christians believe concerning Jesus for ourselves. Are you anti-Buddhism or anti-Hinduism or just not of their beliefs?

Did you just make up what is in your comment, the it’s no secret part, or were you lied to? You guys are like that about Liberals too. Are you going to make up what Jews believe too?

          • http://www.rt.com Alondra

Do you read your comments before you post them.
Do not reply to m y comments. I do not read your longwinded disjointed demagoguery. It’s just head spinning to read your nonsense.

          • macgyver1948

Alondra… I wonder that about what you post too. I guess you cannot see what you do not allow yourself to agree with as with others on here. In that it might be easier for you to feel you cannot be wrong. I bet you understand but you do not want to respond at times unless it is to express all you are, anger toward those who will not agree with your beliefs and understanding.

The religious exchanges with us are an example of your intolerances whether you respond or not. You believe in your religion as is your chose, as we all do, but you perhaps cannot tolerate being disagreed
with concerning what you have been taught about the Hebrew Bible by those who are not Jewish because the Jewish understanding of what God tells us is different from what you were told to believe about our Bible.

You should remember the Torah was given to us by God Himself, offered to us through Moses, and it is the only set of books not only explained to us by God but the only ones ever offered by God Himself, ever that we know about. I bet that infuriates you and your teachers of it and maybe perhaps that your bibles didn’t come along until centuries later with your rewrites and different from-God’s teachings of Torah.

This is how you present your politics as well – Only how you are told to believe must be Right for all or it is those who differ from your understanding that have to be wrong. That and how you feel good about not “understanding” what was presented if it differ
from your desired and taught beliefs. What a load of
anti-Constitution in that sentiment as well. We each must respect others beliefs and Liberties as equally to how we want to be respected ourselves or, if we are a believer in Constitutional Liberty, we are hypocrites. You, and those who feel as you, do not it seem to be understanding that..

Did you understand all that or are you still laughing within your intolerances and anger?

          • WTS/JAY

mac: WTS/JAY… “no secret” huh? You made that up, Right? Either that or someone lied to you. Jews are not anti anything about the order of the most holy trinity – trinitarians.

Have you been drinking, mac? The Jews reject, outright, the belief that Jesus is the Son of God, and God the Son. So yeah, that would make them anti-trinitarian, dumb azz.

          • macgyver1948

WTS/JAY… To begin with let me ask you this. Is it a secret that Christians reject both the Muslim and Jewish faiths? Followers of the Muslim faith out number Christians so why would you reject their Koran and
their beliefs? Do not both Jews and Muslims have the right to their chosen faiths as you do to believe in your form of Christianity? Doesn’t the US Constitution protect our rights to choose how we wish to accept God, or not? Now I will go into reasons Jews do not worship or believe in Jesus, which are our rights to do so as you have your rights which are equal to ours. Or are you denying others have the same rights as you?

Oh boy you are just not getting it. Yes, we Jews do not reject the notion that Jesus is the son of God any more than the rest of us are the sons and daughters of God, that is a fact. But we do respect your right to believe as you choose for you. We respect the rights of all Christians religion and there are so many with their distinct differences. Why is that since there was only one Jesus? Why cannot you respect our rights?

We reject the notion that Jesus is the Hebrew Messiah because he did not fulfill nearly enough of the Hebrew Prophecies, only all would be enough. That would include showing the Hebrew Messiah would be a
person, all human in that he would have two totally mortal biological parents- part of the Hebrew Prophesies, would have to fulfill all of the prophesies, not just one or even few, because Prophesies are an
all or nothing proposition so there would not be any confusion with coincidences. It is all in the Hebrew Bible but that too is part of the reinterpretations in the much later “Old Testaments”, all of them. Also because to accept the Trinity would violate our belief in Monotheism as well as violate the first two of the Ten Commandants which is not only part of Torah but comes from it.

If you noticed one of the things I said was that the Hebrew Messiah would have to be “a person, all human in that he would have two totally mortal biological parents”. That alone would negate Jesus
from being the Hebrew Messiah from the point of conception if you believe in immaculate or divine conception. We Jews do not believe in demi-gods, the result of the mythological immaculate or divine
conception. There are so many other reasons in the Hebrew Bible that show why we cannot accept Jesus as anything but a mortal man from history but it does NOT mean we do not allow for your beliefs for you
as you choose. That is what part of what you are not getting.

It is all in the Hebrew Bible and I believe was originally in there and is what your bible producers do not what you to know. It is all part of the different teachings and editings of the “Old Testaments”, something we Jews do not ever use as a title for our bible, that will not serve your Christian religions and denominations and we Jews get and accept that for you guys. What is so difficult for you guys to understand about that?

You should understand that all bible producers write their bibles in ways to get their readers and followers, as well as future generations, to believe and follow how they are wanted to below and follow. What would be the point to their religion/denomination if their bibles didn’t reflect, in meaning and purpose, what is the desired ways of believing for each religion or denomination respectively? This is so true even if all of them use the same original texts and scrolls to translate.

Also remember the Torah was directly copied from those original scrolls written originally and taken by those original scroll writers, nothing at all to change or edit in Torah, the first five books of the Hebrew Bible.. Your future bible producers with all your “old Testaments”, from the Catholic Bible to the centuries later produced Protestant versions, cannot say this. See in your New Testaments something such as the following and there has to be reasons Jesus said these things, that is unless you think Jesus was lying about this but I believe as a rabbi Jesus knew in his heart and soul these things to be true.

So the question remains, as it has for the last two thousand years, “Why did your Bible producers and Christian theologians change Torah interpretations in your bibles”???

(In Matthew 5:17, Jesus said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Til heaven and earth pass, one dot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the law, till all be
fulfilled.”) and Luke 16:17, “It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one dot of the
            Law to become void”,

Maybe this will help. I put this together a while ago in the hope you guys would understand why it is a mortal sin for Jews to accept Jesus as well as to pray and worship him but also this explains why he cannot
be the Hebrew Messiah or any kind of Hebrew King, he was never officially anointed any kind of Hebrew King by anyone with the authority to do so. The first web site below was written and put together by a rabbi so maybe that will give you some understanding,
the rest are just extras. I am not trying to change your belief systems here, just to offer the explanations. The rest is just an outline of reasons. Good luck if you really want to know the truth about the Jewish reasoning which comes from Torah. Hopefully we can
get past this now and just accept each others religious choices and beliefs equally.

            888

This site will hopefully explain why Jews CANNOT accept Jesus.

            http://www.removejewwatch.com/26/how-come-christians-dont-use-the-original-hebrew-bible-but-they-made-an-old-testament-to-suit-their

How come Christians do not use the original Hebrew bible but they made old testaments versions to suit their respective religions or denominational needs?

Or, how come Christians leave out so much of the ancient texts the Hebrews included in their Bible?

Some of what Christians might leave out of their newer translated “Old Testaments” – Why?:

Judaism teaches that the messiah will fulfill the following prophecies:
            *
The Sanhedrin will be re-established (Isaiah 1:26)
            *
Once he is King, leaders of other nations will look to him for guidance. (Isaiah 2:4)
            *
The whole world will worship the One God of Israel (Isaiah 2:17)
            *
He will be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:1) via King Solomon
            (1 Chron. 22:8-10)
            *
The Moshiach will be a man of this world, an observant Jew with “fear of God” (Isaiah 11:2) (The Hebrew Messiah will have two biological parents)
            *
Evil and tyranny will not be able to stand before his leadership (Isaiah 11:4)
            *
Knowledge of God will fill the world (Isaiah 11:9)
            *
He will include and attract people from all cultures and nations (Isaiah 11:10)

This site will hopefully explain why Jews CANNOT accept Jesus.

          • WTS/JAY

I think you jumped the gun, mac. All i said was that Jews are anti-trinitarian. I did not say, nor suggested, that they/you are not entitled to hold that conviction. Btw, I know perfectly well why Jews cannot accept Jesus.

          • macgyver1948

WTS/JAY… Since “Anti-” generally means against or opposed to something it was easy to figure that you mean, or for me to “jump the gun” with, Jews are against Trinitarians and Christianity/Jesus. Our Bible through Torah, and mostly God in it, tells us we cannot accept your Jesus or worship anything that is not God Himself, even if only a less-than God entity. That, again, is in the !0 Commandants but I guess you guys miss that part. That is all it means. That is one of the main reasons our Bibles contradict.

          • WTS/JAY

So you agree, Jews are anti-trinitarian. Thank you!

          • Deerinwater

Hmm? ~ I share many of your views about Christ macgyver. ` while I still claim to be a buffet Christian.

And Like you, I will be scolded and ridiculed for that confession.

It’s not something that I really want to go into at the moment.

I really don’t care which road one took in ascended to an “awaking” that we are greater than the sum of all our parts. ~ there are many roads and the journey a personal one.

          • macgyver1948

Deerinwater… I think it is a Golden Rule thing. We should respect and accept others beliefs as we would want for our own but there are many who cannot take being wrong and in that can’t stand the Golden Rule.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Would you like other people helping themselves to your assets and telling you what products to buy, MacGyver?

          • Bob666

            Yo Deer,

“I really don’t care which road one took in ascended to an “awaking” that we are greater than the sum of all our parts. ~ there are many roads and the journey a personal one”.

It is sad that many people can’t accept that fact and feel their one size fits all path is the only path that you and I must take or be dammed.

          • WTS/JAY

Or you can just ignore them, Bob, instead of playing the “drama-queen”?

          • Bob666

There is a “drama-queen” here Jay, but I am not that person.

But a good try at spin.

          • Average_Joe56

“But a good try at spin.”

Me thinks you may have spun a bearing…..

          • http://www.rt.com Alondra

Steve, once again you just confirmed how ignorant you are.

Your babbling-mumbling is so longwinded and incoherent.
As a Jew you do not know what your Hebrew Scripture is.

Tonakh is the canon of the Hebrew Bible,
which consists of the three subdivisions: Torah (“Teaching”, or in the Christian Bible the very first five books known as the Five Books of Moses), Nevi’im (“Prophets”) and Ketuvim (“Writings”).

The Old Testament of the Christian Bible is the same Hebrew Tonakh – the same 39 books.

Tonakh aka Old Testament was finalized by 450 BC.

            Ketuvim includes book Proverbs

Your statement about Bible translation is totally false as a result of your ignorance.

Google the Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Bible into Greek, which was completed by 72 Jewish scholars (six scholars from each of the twelve tribes of Israel) around
            250 BC.

Please stop exposing your stupidity and ignorance by your wordy and totally disjointed demagoguery. It’s just dreadful to read your nonsense.

          • macgyver1948

Alondra… WOW, you assume way to much. First of all I know what Tonakh is. Second and very important, Torah, what you would call the “The Five Books of Moses” is what God wrote and gave to Moses for us. I know what the other two books are called and I have known pretty much all my life. I learned the Hebrew Faith form Hebrew school since I was 4 and from my Jewish family all my life. Who did you learn about
Judaism from, people who only know what Christians want to believe about Judaism?

If I want to know what Catholics believe about their bible I will ask a catholic priest or a Catholic with a good knowledge of Catholicism. If I want to know Christianity as a particular Protestant would know
I would ask a specific Protestant minister of that denomination or a knowledgeable Protestant in that wanted denomination. Do you see a pattern in these Christian religious differences and there are so many considering all the different denominations? Why are there so many different religious considerations and beliefs in Christianity considering there is only one Jesus? It means I would not ask you about Judaism because you do not know that truth. Oh, if I want to learn more about Judaism I would ask a rabbi or a real Hebrew scholar, not someone like you or your non-Jewish teachers

More truths you do not know. About The Old Testament of the Christian Bibles, a renaming of the Hebrew Bible, we Jews do not refer to our bible as “the Old Testament”, it is NOT the same Hebrew Tonakh –
the same 39 books, and it is not interpreted any were near the same as it was originally when we consider there is no Jesus in any form, hinted or assumed or in any other ways, in the Hebrew Bible, in Torah
or Prophets or Writings. NOT IN ANY WAYS. Jesus was never thought of by anyone until Christian history began in Jesus’ life time as an adult really from when he returned to Israel.

Where was Jesus before he returned to Israel and who were the people he associated with? Do you know Jesus is in Indian history as having started a temple while he lived there? Two people from India conformed that to me when I asked them about my reading. The Indian people do not see Jesus as anything more than all mortal either. Jesus also has history with other nations too so why is that not important enough for those histories to be in your bibles considering
            your beliefs of him?

So, Alondra, who is the ignorant one here when it comes to the Hebrew Bible, you or me? It is a mortal sin for Jews to believe in, accept and worship
Jesus. The First two of the Ten Commandants, all ten come from Torah – God’s Laws, remind us of that but there are other Hebrew Scriptures that confirm this in different ways. These things are in many places in the Hebrew Bible so if you are so knowable on the Hebrew Bible why do you knot know these things? Oh wait, there are those differences between the Hebrew Bible and its teachings and all the came later Old Testaments and their teachings that keep you from
            knowing. Live with that.

My Hebrew Bible is in Hebrew along with the English. I do not know Greek so what you say about your translations into Greek in 250 BC would not work on those who do not know Greek. Let’s ask those “72 Jewish scholars (six scholars from each of the twelve tribes of Israel)” from way back then to translate their work into English for us now but I bet they wouldn’t see your Jesus anywhere in the Hebrew Bible either, referenced or other wise.

Refer to your last sentence in this comment of yours and say that to yourself. If all you do is listen to and believe what non-Jews tell you about Judaism and our Bible you will never know The Hebrew Bible or Judaism.

You Alondra, are as knowledgeable about the Hebrew Bible and Judaism as you are about Liberals. You are like Sergeant Schultz of Hogans Heroes, you “know nothing”. LOL

          • Bob666

            Yo Mac,
            Very well said!

        • Deerinwater

Yes macgyver1948, Christ offered us many words and examples of how to address and accept our fellow man.

The one that perhaps hits home the most, is when he said, “As you do to the least among you, you do to me. ”

I think that offers us a good view as to how Christ wanted the less fortunate to be addressed.

          • macgyver1948

Deerinwater… Yes, that is a great reminder of what Jesus said concerning how we should treat the weakest of us. It is amazing how many on the Right forget what Jesus says when what Jesus says contradicts how they are told to believe today.

            Thank you for the reminder.

What do Barack Obama, Thomas Jefferson, George W. Bush and the other past U.S. presidents have in common? Besides holding the coveted title of commander-in-chief, it appears that all of them but one are cousins.

The remarkable discovery was made by 12-year-old Bridge Anne d’Avignon, of Salinas, California, who created a ground-breaking family tree that connected 42 of 43 U.S. presidents to one common, and rather unexpected, ancestor: King John of England.

‘They all have the trait of wanting power,’ d’Avignon told the station WFMY.

Budding genealogist: Bridge Anne d’Avignon created a family tree that connected 42 of 43 U.S. presidents to one common ancestor.

Common grandfather: The 12-year-old traced the lineages of nearly all of the U.S. presidents to King John, the signer of the Magna Carta

D’Avignon, a seventh-grader at Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville, started the project in hopes of tracing back her own bloodline in France, but somewhere along the way she decided to take her genealogical quest to the highest level.

In order to create the family tree, the 12-year-old spent months scouring through over 500,000 names in search of the ‘presidential Adam.’

Her 80-year-old grandfather, who has been tracing roots for nearly six decades, helped her make the presidential links.

D’Avignon started with the first U.S. president, George Washington, she traced both the male and female family lines to make the connection.

Prior to d’Avignon’s discovery, genealogists were only able to link 22 families of presidents, likely because they only focused on male bloodlines.

The only former commander-in-chief not linked to King John is the eighth president, Martin Van Buren, who had Dutch roots…

I see that you are up to midget wrestling again today!

Bob666… Actually I do not come on here to “wrestle”, just to share and discuss and learn, but for only offering my Free Speech Rights through my opinions I get attacked like it was the WWE as their distorted midget size beliefs in Liberty have to come out all just because they cannot take being disagreed with. Funny, HUH when we hear them say they are for the US Constitution?. Contradictory or what? LOL

          • WTS/JAY

You poor thing, mac. But do cheer up, maybe your wrestling manager, Bob666, has some extra crying-towels in his office for you; boo hoo hoo…woe is me. Lol!

            Yo Mac,

I know what your motives are and for someone who is not threatened by a different opinion or view point, there is an exchange of ideas via a rational dialog

For those with narrow minds who process information with one dimensional thinking (mental midgets) you will get a response like:

“your wrestling manager, Bob666, has some extra crying-towels in his office for you; boo hoo hoo…woe is me”

The good news is; people like you and me have a life and our self worth is not centered around a web site.

Bob666: The good news is; people like you and me have a life and our self worth is not centered around a web site.

            No Jay,

My self worth is not. I see it only took you 13 minutes to respond to my post. Is your self worth centered around a wed-site.

handle being disagreed with and they show that right from their first insulting name-calling response and then they get more childish as they go along. Very adult of them as well as their showing they have very little tolerance for the Constitution if other’s opinions differ from theirs. Then they even try to prove how Right they are by trying to denounce what you know is true or telling you about yourself what you know isn’t true. Funny, HUH in how that has become so typically Right here?

            Your
            trip is soon, isn’t it?

          • Bob666

            Yo Mac,
I would say that you called it.

Yes, I will start getting the boat ready next weekend. Depending on how my wife can arrange her schedule, we are looking at leaving early the week before Thanks- Giving. One of grown children will pickup my daughter and they will fly to meet us and make the trip back home on the boat.

Everyone wants a bird and the trimmings, so I have been elected cook this year and I am trying to figure out how to bake a bird in an over that might hold a ten pound bird. Personally-I was thinking sea-food boil or steaks on the grill.

          • macgyver1948

Bob666… Maybe I called it but according to some of them I do not know how to write English well enough for them to understand. Or is it that they do not want to understand because what I say does not mesh with their programming and their handler’s desired beliefs for them.

It sounds like a fun and worth while trip, I’m jealous that I am not going. I am all of a sudden hungry for some reason. LOL.

          • WTS/JAY

Was that how they determined that Rush Limbaugh was Obamas tenth cousin? Wonder how Oballah feels about that? lol lol lol!!

        • WTS/JAY

Ever watch wrestling, Timbo? When the show is on they all do a good job of convincing you that they actually hate each other, but when the show is over you’ll find them all at the local tavern hugging each other and buying each other beers. Same game is played in politics, “left/right”, including media, and the media is just an extension of the political organ. Creating the illusion that there’s actually a struggle between the forces of good and evil, helps to keep the masses pacified. Politics, it seems, is the opiate of the people!

      • macgyver1948

Didn’t we rebel against England and their royalty and cause the making of our Constitution and our country? That might mean we do not care for how it was there politically and socially.

        • WTS/JAY

Yeah, supposedly, and according to (traditional history…?), the revolutionary-war was fought over the British monarchy’s unjust taxation. While true on one level, it is also true that the leaders of the American-revolution, the signers of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were (all) descendants of British “aristocratic-bloodlines” and most of them, “Freemasons”.

          • macgyver1948

WTS/JAY… What is this suppose to mean “While true on one level, it is also true that the leaders of the American-revolution, the signers of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were (all) descendants of British “aristocratic-bloodlines” and most of them, “Freemasons”? I bet so many of us knew that and we knew it for a very long time, Freemasons and all. LOL.

Unless you were of the Native American variety, who we mistakenly call “Indians”, whose cultures here on this side of the world may have gone back 10,000 or so years before Columbus got lost here and wound up near our shores, who knows how may have been here even longer? Those were mostly British or Dutch or French or Spanish or sometin’ who at first who colonized the Americas from the European parts, LOL…

          • WTS/JAY

mac: Columbus got lost here and wound up near our shores, who knows how may have been here even longer?

What Columbus “discovered” was the Bahamas archipelago and then the island later named Hispaniola, now split into Haiti and the Dominican Republic. On his subsequent voyages he went farther south, to Central and South America. He never got close to what is now called the United States.

I have questioned many liberals asking them to address my reservations I have with their tenet only to be ignored or being called an idiot. I am not offended by their pejorative labeling for in order to be offended the accusation must contain an iota of truth.. Liberals certainly go off the deep end when they are labeled so you can make up your own mind as to how accurate we are at assessing their character.

      http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/11/02/food-stamps-cuts-food-banks/3356667/

And once this reaches a Multinational Level due to
Ideological Politics at work , Financial Conflicts and All Out Wars of
many kinds becomes the result !!!! Like this example ….

janna says “I’m not going to debate every single item on the Tea Party wishlist.”

I’m assuming then, that you don’t approve of or believe in the Constitution, a limited government, a reduction in the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit by reducing U.S. government spending and taxes.

          • janna

            JeffH

how about cutting defence big time ( no Cuba won’t invade )

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Yes we should cut defense spending dramatically.
Why do you think that raising taxes, thus giving non-productive Government more wealth to consume, is a good thing, Janna?
Where do you get your information about Corporations, Janna? According to the IRS, the top 1% of income earners pay 37% of the taxes. Why do you consider that to be their “fair share”?
Corporations don’t pay the taxes anyway, Janna. They just raise their prices, lower their workers’ wages, lay off workers, close their companies, or move overseas where they aren’t being ripped off. So the rest of us are really paying those taxes. Some of us are aware of that. Others are ignorantly blissful.

          • janna

you should remember this is the identical discussion we had before

how about government spending on infrastructure

subsidize higher education for REALLY needed courses

I’m in favor of subsidizing higher education
( none of the fluffy stuff )

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Janna says — “I’m in favor of infrastructure spending”.
That’s understandable, Janna, as the concept is indeed a difficult one, especially when people have been severely propagandized by the public schools and the Media.
The bottom line is that people who are spending other people’s money aren’t as careful with that money as the actual owners of the money would have been.
Roads, Bridges, etc., should be built with funds from voluntarily sources (usually those of the people who benefit from the structures), and that is how it was before Lincoln’s presidency. The Private Sector would build those structures more efficiently and less costly (by far). For an in-depth treatment of that subject, Janna, read this:
            http://mises.org/books/roads_web.pdf

Janna says — “I’m in favor of stopping the war on drugs”.
Me too, Janna. For those who haven’t heard that side of the story, and would like to learn, read this:
            http://library.mises.org/books/Mark%20Thornton/Economics%20of%20Prohibition.pdf

Janna says — “I’m in favor of subsidizing higher education”.
All Public Education is inherently infested with Propagandists who naturally want people to believe that we all need Big Central Government. Of course they do, because their nests are feathered by Big Central Government. But do the rest of us benefit? NO. If we did, we would choose to engage in the services that Government offers in the voluntary Free Market. Government only benefits the Leaders, their Crony Capitalists, and the people who want other people to pay for their desires.
Personally, Janna, I don’t believe that anybody has a right to ride on anybody else’s shoulders (slavery) for any reason at all. But I would be tolerant of Public subsidized education if, and only if, Government just reimbursed a certain amount of the costs and didn’t get involved in the curriculum at all.
Here are three articles that you should read if you want to learn:
            http://mises.org/journals/jls/7_1/7_1_3.pdf
            http://www.crossroad.to/Books/BraveNewSchools/Chronology.htm

            TheOriginalDaveH
I do support only subsidizing really needed courses
            like engineering,science,biology,etc
think back to when the USSR put sputnik into space
            when President Kennedy said
we will put a man on the moon and bring him home safely
there was a massive increase in those courses
which brought on the greatest technological advance known to mankind
it put the USA ahead of all other countries
but without a big national goal, the US is again falling behind
the Bible belt is slowly regaining control again
            ( evolution ? denying science ? etc,etc,etc )
you now need to hitchhike a ride into space,WOW
America needs to start dreaming that big dream again
the West does need your ingenuity, can do attitude,
            entrepreneurial know how,etc,etc,etc.
hope this clarifies my position on education

          • TheOriginalDaveH

The best thing the Government could do for education, Janna, is to get the flock out of it. How do you expect scientists, who need to think outside the box, will be produced if they are all learning the same cookie-cut government approved things? Innovations in technology result from new ways of thinking, and that isn’t what Government meddling encourages. In fact the No Child Left Behind laws push educators to turn out students who are taught to memorize test questions and answers instead of actually understanding the reason for those answers.

How about cutting the government to half its current size? and even then, we would still have way too much government. Government, and government employees are wealth consumers, or, parasites.

          • Robert Messmer

Actually it is pretty much impossible to tax any corporation of any size. Whatever the tax is, they will simply add to the cost to their product and the tax will be paid by us the consumers, the us taxpayers. I would prefer a Flat Tax, no deductions whatever. Should be small enough to use a post card to submit.

First, when the Iron curtain came down with in 60 days the leftist media realized that the Soviet block propagandist were now unemployed and that started a hiring frenzy. they hired 1100 propagandist in less than 45 days. The New york times hire 9 in one day. They also hire hundred of psychologist who were expert in reprogramming brainwashed minds. That has been more than 20 years. Wonder where the attitude comes from from the lefties?

          • Jana

Wow, that sure was a failure on their part, or was it? Maybe the New York Times succeeded in reprogramming the public.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Yes, and we really should be more tender with them, unless of course they turn to being abusive like most of the Liberal Progressive Trolls on this board.
I have spent decades trying to wake up my kids. My son is now firmly in my camp, but my daughter is still reluctantly brainwashed.

          • organicroseski2

We got on this because you said I was a Fox News bubble head. I am a card carrying Libertarian/leaning conservative. We all must be a mixture in some way. Fox was not good to Dr Ron Paul, nor the Libertarian Party. Yes I watch it; but, I watch RT that cuts up Tea Party Conservatives, also.Yes we will never agree; I would not touch the Dem. party with a 20 foot pole. They are not for individual liberty, not for small Fed government and they are not for The Consitution. Come to think of it the House gave some of their power up to the Administration in the way of debt celling last month—RINO’s are more like Dems. They should skip over to call themselves what they really are. I was not wondering what you are doing on this site. I believe in reaching out, being worldly, and all that stuff.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Bob Livingston made a good point one day (as usual). To call them RINOs is a misnomer because Republicans have always stood for Mercantilism, and they have proven to just give lip-service to Small Government while in practice growing it ever-larger. So a better acronym for them would be CINO (Conservative in Name Only).
            http://mises.org/daily/152/Mercantilism

          • organicroseski2

Maybe RINO is not the best name. How about progressive republicans, to shed light on their way toward a parasite federal government, only slower and thru the back door. CINO also stands for Catholic in name only. Also, “Cino” is a name for a high status person–power, money, control (urban dictionary). I do agree, no more using RINO for me. Thanks TheOringinalDaveH

Global warming is a myth. There is 1 million square miles more of arctic ice then there was a year ago. It only wants more power. I am not a birther. I think it was spawned in hell as that is where demons come from. it has all the traits associated with demons.

          • Motov

Gotta watch out for that “global warming”!
Al (I invented the internet) Gore said so! But I have a few questions!
            1) How does taxing carbon reverse “global warming”?

            2) Where would all that money go?

            3) Why is it cooler this year (at least where I live) than last year?

            4) Has any studies been made on the number one contributor of “global warming” (you know,.. that really big yellow ball of light in the sky) on how much output of energy it produces every single day?

            5) Does the noise in my head bother anybody?

            6) Where are the cookies?

          • http://www.rt.com Alondra

Dear Motov, the answer to your question #4 is YES.

The Liverpool John Moores University in England conducted such study.

Their “scientific” research report was published in May last year in Current Biology. The scientists suggests that
“DINOSAURS made a significant contribution to the greenhouse effect back then”, because they (scientists) estimated that “about 570 MILLION TONS of methane
came from dinosaurs” and thus thru FARTS and BURPS have contributed to the global warming and THEIR OWN EXTERMINATION.

So, they (DINOSAURS) have vanished thanks to their own gassiness.

Motov, can you imagine a Natural Disaster such as a whole D.C. may vanish due to their own gassiness?

NONE of them (politicians) would pass the emission test/ smell test.

          • Average_Joe56

“Motov, can you imagine a Natural Disaster such as a whole D.C. may vanish?”
No, but I can think of an un-natural solution. Let’s build a wall around D.C (all ten square miles).. Make the wall 1000 feet high…fill it with water….Instant lake!… AND… an overall improvement for the country, as well as a great new scenic destination for vacationing and tourism !!!
            What could possibly be better?

          • Motov

I was kinda hoping for something a tad more cosmic,..like an asteroid, impacting, Washington DC, whilst in full session.

Volcanoes are known to cool the earth, The explosion of Tambora in 1815, caused “A year without a summer” in 1816 .
Estimates vary on how much material was blown into the atmosphere. Try to grasp 36 cubic miles of material.
Krakatoa, also cooled the earth when it blew in 1883.

Dear Motov, Our Earth in the hands of the Almighty God.
If He wants to heat it, so He heats it.
If He wants to cool it, so He cools it.

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, COLD and HEAT, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” Says God. (Genesis 8:22)

“What ever the LORD pleases, He does in HEAVEN and on EARTH, in the seas and all deeps. He is WHO MAKES the clouds rise at the end of the earth, WHO MAKES LIGHTNINGS FOR THE RAIN AND BRINGS FORTH THE WIND from His storehouses.” (Psalms 135:6-7)

“And in an instant, suddenly, you will be visited by the LORD of hosts with THUNDER and with EARTHQUAKE and grit noise, with whirlwind and tempts and the flame of a devouring fire.” (Isaiah 29:6)

“HE (The LORD) rebukes the sea and makes it dry; He dries up all the rivers.” (Nahum 1:4)

“A windstorm came down on the lake…He (Jesus Christ*) awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm.” (Luke 8:23-24)

Motov, a few days ago I posted for you the recipes of two beneficial drinks. Please let me know if you did get the post.

There is not global warming. Facts state that the southern Hemisphere is a full 1.5 degrees colder now than it was 15 years ago. Of course we don’t want facts in the Ovomit administration. He didn’t know that the sun was involved, he wasn’t briefed. I mean he has not been briefed in anything else. He is always innocent, isn’t he? He has set the record for the entire world, most lies by a countries leader in history.

Hitting the bottle kind of early, huh mac?

        • WTS/JAY

Yeah, real funny, mac. Probably the same insurgents and liberal-progs that demanded Jesus be put to death, no doubt, huh? Funny how some things never change. Funny, huh?

          • macgyver1948

WTS/JAY… LOL… According to some history, and some movies, one of the rebel leaders was Jesus’ nephew in the Year 70AD when the Romans finished
putting down that decades old rebellion/insurgency. It was also the same year the Romans totally destroyed Jerusalem as a punishment for the rebellion. Yes, I know, Jesus was exacted some 37 years earlier but your comment here is another funny.

It is funny, The Hebrew Prophet Danial prophesied that destruction of Jerusalem many years earlier and a final days thing for all in the area of the great city. Danial included in his prophecy that a greater beast would order a lessor beast, referred to as the symbolic
“666”, to burn it all down. In the year 70 AD the Roman Emperor ordered the Roman General Titus to do all that destruction of Jerusalem and send the religious artifacts to Rome. Jesus talked about Danial’s prophesy, look it up in your New Testaments, the many
of them if you need to. Does Danial’s Prophesy, one that Jesus spoke of and then actually occurred in the year 70AD as proof of Danial’s Prophesy, sound familiar to something written in your New Testaments,
Revelations perhaps, which wasn’t published for the first time, in the First Christian New Testament, the Roman Catholic one, until the latter part of the third and early 4th centuries? Funny how things can be adjusted in the telling later when some ones wants to. You are making up the connections of the Hebrew
insurgents to Jesus so I offer some history.

No, those few Jews who asked the Romans to arrest Jesus were not necessarily rebel/insurgents at the time of Jesus’ arrest but I can see you are of the mind to blame all of a (larger) group for the actions of a very few, perhaps for all their future generations as well. So if I may use your logic does that mean every time any
Christian commits a crime, including a mass shooting of innocence, we can blame all Christians for that crime? You are the typical Right wing Tea-like thinker and a joke in how you wrongfully generalize. I can see your misplaced anger in your comment though, LOL.

          • WTS/JAY

According to some movies? Perhaps I shouldn’t be so hard on you, mac. Perhaps it is not your fault. I guess nobody told you that hollywood never gets it right. How were you to know, right?

          • macgyver1948

WTS/JAY… I know history is a problem for your side as it often contradicts what your handlers want you to believe. It wasn’t only movies I mentioned but you can’t recognize what negates your programming. I had a feeling your dull brain would get you confused about my mentioning “movies”.

          • Jana

Be careful macgyver. You may love the Lord God, but you are not the only one who does, and to cause arguments like this is not right.

          • Jana

Macgyver, I don’t know how anyone could mess up explaining scriptures anymore than you just did. You made it sound more like a comic book than the truth.

          • macgyver1948

Jana… I cannot help it if you are not capable of reading what is real history and real Hebrew Scriptures. Is what is real too confusing for you? Please tell me where you are confused about the Hebrew Scriptures I offered. If you do not understand Hebrew Scripture that could be where you go wrong about the Hebrew Bible. I know The Hebrew
Bible and your Testaments do contradict greatly with each other so that could be part of your problem. :-).

          • Jana

Maybe its not me that doesn’t know what is real or not. Some of Daniels prophecy has come to pass, some is in the process of coming to pass and some has yet to come to pass. This is why the Bible tells us

            2 Tim 2:15
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
This is why we are to be watchers and know how to handle the manuscripts from the Septuagints also.

          • macgyver1948

Jana… I consider real what is in Torah when it comes to religion and how I choose to relate to God. You New Testaments do not mean more to me than any attempt at a history book on an era we can not prove from
that book. I would, however, totally support you in your beliefs. I accept that the nasty massacres that took place in and around Jerusalem were of Daniels prophecy, all of it. There are just too many events from the history that prove Daniel’s prophecy is not mere
coincidences. I do not see it as being continued and since I do not believe in any of your bibles Revelations I will stick with how I feel.

The same goes for Timothy who is in the New Testament as well, and that is not a book in its entirety I can believe in as a bible. Again, I will defend your right to do so, not that you need me to, but there
is much truth and wisdom found in your New Testaments as there are in many books with wisdom in them that are not bibles. I agree with what is said in “2 Tim 2:15 15 Study to shew thyself approved
unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.

Tim is not denying the truth of Torah as it is all presented in the Hebrew Bible but I wonder if he would notice the many obvious contradictions between your New Testaments and Torah if he were to know about The New Testaments as the Christian Bibles we have known since their much later publications. I am, of course, referring to the history of New Testament Publications since the first one the Romans published in the last part of the 3rd and the first part of the
4th centuries on through to the several Protestant publications starting centuries later. Do you have a problem with this history? Look it up and start with the accomplishments of the Emperor Constantine of Rome as it relates to what I say here. Maybe then, if you allow yourself the history, to see if it is “… you (Jana) that doesn’t know what is real or not”.

I know I am not the only one who loves God and I will never deny others their right to love and accept Him as they choose. I am only asking for the same in return and trying to explain what Torah is about and how it has been to this day since it was offered to us through Moses.

There is a reason the US Founders deliberately did not make America a Christian Nation, as they do not mention any specific religion in the Constitution, and these disagreements we are having might be one of
the minor reasons. The main reasons they didn’t make this any kind of specific-religion nation was more so because it would weaken or negate “Freedom Of Religion” and also make the US look like hypocrites to the world if they did the specific religion thing. Yes,
I know most, if not all, of the Founders were Christians. Anyway, Samuel Adams said “We must never present to the world that America is a Christian Country”. My paraphrasing because I cannot exactly remember his quote but it is close enough. Look that up too.

          • Jana

I will also stick with what I know to be true.

          • macgyver1948

Jana,,, I mean I consider real to me in terms of the faith I chose, that I could not prove anything unless Albert Einstein was correct in saying we will some day be able to travel back in time. That is the only ways we will be able to mate faith with fact and proof of the days we
            can only read about now.

I would defend to the death your right to your beliefs even if I would not agree with your sentiments. Do you recall what I might be paraphrasing? I would NEVER want to change your mind either, concerning your politics as well as religion. That would contradict
the Constitutional Rights we were given and I would like to strengthen those as they would apply to the effects of modern times and needs. We must, for example, respect each others Free Speech without anger and insult and name calling. Sooner or later we receive what we give though.

I just want to share and learn from those who think and believe differently from me, even from those who think similarly but have a bit of a different slant. That is why I come to sites like this as well as to sites such as HuffingtonPost. I have read a lot about Christianity over the years and spoke with many along the way. I have read two Christian Bibles from cover to cover, the Catholic and the King James Version, and pieces of others over the years and I have questions but I will not want to rewrite them to my ways of believing
and thinking in religion and in politics. If I did I would sound exactly like the “Only my ways of thinking and believing and accepting are right for all so if you do not agree with me you have to be wrong” people and ion that I wouldn’t be able to stand my hypocrisy. I guess I just do not like being told I am wrong if all I
am saying is about my feelings and faith, who does? To me those ways are ant-Liberty and Anti Constitutional. Getting nasty and insulting about differing views are just childish but after a while of taking those I too can get a bit childish in my responses to them.

            Shalom for now, :-)

Hungry4food you are so right. Even the old sayings that my parents used to say from their parents, I no longer can say because when I do my daughters look at me and gasp and say, “Mama, I didn’t know you used words like that!” Then I am shocked because what used to be a nice term or phrase has been perverted. We have had many conversations about how these words really don’t mean what the ‘world’ says they mean, but since the ‘world’ has perverted these words as they have perverted Liberals or Liberalism, then we won’t use them publicly.

In fact sometimes before I write something on here I call my husband and ask him if something is considered a bad word. AAGH! I worry about that aspect as I write things.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

You shouldn’t worry, Jana. Just say what you mean.

          • JeffH

It’s much easier that way for sure.

          • Bob666

            Yo Mac,
My daughter sent this to me & it kind of fits:

If you still believe President Obama is a secret Muslim who wants to spread Islamic law in the US, consider this:

When you look carefully at many Islamic countries, you’ll see they tend to share these values….

            –they’re anti-abortion

–they’re very supportive of the death penalty

–they oppose the separation of church and state (in fact, believe in theocracy, I might add)

–they believe religious doctrine should be taught in school

–they tend to believe women should have fewer rights than men

            –they oppose “Multi-culturism”

–they consider homosexuality as evil and believe gay marriage should be outlawed

If President Obama really wanted to spread Islamic law in America, he’d be…a Republican!

          • WTS/JAY

I see that she is stuck in the left/right paradigm. Hmm, how then can you claim to be a Libertarian when you encourage your own daughter to remain in the left/right paradigm, Bob? You did say you were a Libertarian, right?

          • Bob666

            Yes Jay,

I consider myself to be a libertarian as do my wife (republican) and three grown children (one each, libertarian, republican and democrat).

“how then can you claim to be a Libertarian when you encourage your own daughter to remain in the left/right paradigm, Bob”?

Two things to clarify Jay, First, this is my oldest daughter in her forties, I always made the effort to demonstrate my values to my children by practicing what preach, but I also let them determine the path they chose as it is their life. While no parent gets it 100% right, my grown children have turned out to be successful, productive & happy adults and all but one has started their own families.

Finally, once my daughter left my home and went to college, she was on her own and has been successful. The email comparing some Christians to some Muslims does make a compelling point. BTW, she is a attends church regularly and I would say that her faith is genuine and sincere.

          • WTS/JAY

That’s a wonderful story, Bob, thank you for sharing.

          • Bob666

            Anytime Jay,
            I’m here for ya buddy…….

          • WTS/JAY

            I know you are, Bob…

          • http://www.rt.com Alondra

What a moving cheery novel. Tears of joy are filling eyes.

          • Jana

Yes! They are anti abortion, but they also are against birth control. They also believe that if a woman gets raped SHE should be put to death.

Yes! They support the death Penalty. They also believe in honor killings, mostly women!

Yes! They oppose separation of church and state. They teach, preach and breathe Islamism. In fact there is NO freedom of religion under Islamic Law!

Yes! They believe religious doctrine should be taught in school. In fact they come over here and are trying to have it taught in our schools too. Try to teach anything other than Islam in their schools and you would die.

Yes! They tend to believe women should have fewer rights than men. HA tend? No, they demand it. Women are property to them, even dirty according to them!

Yes! –they oppose “Multi-culturism” They even come over to this country and refuse to assimilate. In fact they want to take over and make us assimilate into their culture!

Yes! -they consider homosexuality as evil and believe gay marriage should be outlawed. This is what they claim, yet they practice pedophilia but they don’t call it pedophilia or homosexuality. Then what would you call a man having sex with a little boy? What would you call it when even a 15 year old boy says “NO” then his teacher throws acid on him disfiguring him for the rest of his life?

Sorry, I don’t think it fits at all.

          • Bob666

            Hello Jana,
Please allow me to correct you. While the probably are some Muslims who follow many if not all of the character traits that you outlined in your post, I am willing to bet that most do not.

You continue to paint an entire group with a very broad brush and that reminds me of a Muslim friend of mine from Morocco telling once that many Muslims in his country thought that all Christians found the murder of an abortion doctor as acceptable and promoted by the bible.

While I understand that you might not agree with my post, I would say the similarities are amazingly accurate.

          • Jana

Bob, You didn’t say some Muslims believe this, you said and I quote you, “When you look carefully at many Islamic countries, you’ll see they tend to share these values…”
I was telling you what many Islamic countries share in Islamic values.

          • Bob666

            No Jana,
I posted an email exactly as I received it & I commented about the similarities between two religions that both have followers who like to kill each other in the name of god.

            Nothing more-nothing less.

            REAL ISLAM AN DUALISTIC LOGIC

The doctrine of Islam developed in Mecca contradicts the doctrine developed in Medina. Which is the real Islam? There is not a “real” Islam in the sense of resolving apparent contradictions between the two. Both persuasion-jihad and domination-jihad can be applied as needed.

Mohammed revealed a new logic, the logic of the unresolved contradiction, the logic of duality. Two contradictory statements can both be true if Allah says they are. Therefore, neither is false.

For instance, Mohammed was involved in a violent event every seven weeks for the last nine years of his life, but Mohammed is the prophet of the religion of peace. That is a contradiction but, inside dual logic, both sides of the contradiction are true. Both peace and violence advance Islam; both are good and true. Both are Islam. That is the message of the Sira and the power of Islam.

What do the terms “moderate Muslim” and “extremist Muslim” actually mean? Only Islam can define what a Muslim is. According to the Trilogy, a Muslim is anyone who follows the pattern (Sunna) of Mohammed. What unbelievers call a moderate, i.e. peaceful, Muslim is actually a Muslim behaving as Mohammed did when he lived in Mecca. And an extremist Muslim is really a Medinan Muslim, one following the words and actions of the Prophet when he lived in Medina. Unbelievers called Osama Bin Laden an extremist Muslim, but his actions were carefully based upon those of Mohammed in Medina. Bin Laden, like all jihadists, was a devout Muslim following the Koran of Medina. As far as the Koran is concerned, an extremist Muslim is one who leaves the religion, an apostate.

What is the real Islam? Radical Islam? Fundamentalist Islam? Moderate Islam? Meccan Islam? Medinan Islam? There is only Islam. Islam is like a rainbow, a full-spectrum political system.

Those who argue that the real Islam is moderate or that the real Islam is fundamentalist are like those who would say that a rainbow is green or red. A rainbow is not red, not green. No, a rainbow is all the colors. Islam is not peaceful, not violent. Islam is peaceful and violent. You can no more remove the aggression than you can remove the red from the rainbow. The only true view is to take the whole of Islam. The Islamic political doctrine always has two choices, and both are true. Political Islam is profoundly dualistic.

This dualism cannot be removed. Dualism is at the core of the Trilogy. The Trilogy is perfect, permanent, and universal. It cannot be changed. A Muslim may reform but Islam cannot.

~ From: The Islamic Trilogy – Center For The Study Of Political Islam

What you need to know about Bob, Jana, is that Bob is a wonderful story-teller, and his stories, full of fictional characters. Very imaginative, and quite the imagination does he posses. :)

          • Bob666

            Wow Jay,

“What you need to know about Bob, Jana, is that Bob is a wonderful story-teller, and his stories, full of fictional characters”.

I’m not quite sure how one responds to such a load of crap Jay other than I consider the source and like I said,

A very-very sad man you are.

          • WTS/JAY

            And you’re a wonderful story-teller, Bob.

          • Bob666

            Well Jay,
I have always found it interesting that you share very little about yourself on this site. But I believe that you just confirmed what I always suspected to be true and that makes it difficult for people to take cheap shots at you if they know nothing about you, but allows someone like you the full ability to exploit someone here with cheap shots and after all, cheap shots are the mark of a coward.

As I said, you are a very sad person, Jay.

          • WTS/JAY

Bob666: But I believe that you just confirmed what I always suspected to be true and that makes it difficult for people to take cheap shots at you if they know nothing about you…

So tell me again why i should reveal more of myself to you, Bob? :)

          • Bob666

            Frankly my dear Jay,
I could care less as I’m done with you.

          • WTS/JAY

I don’t think so, Bob. I’ll let you know when you’re done. Capish?

          • Bob666

            No Jay,
            I am done with you,

            I just let you know.

          • Don 2

            Bob,

Despite their differences, Socialism and Islam are both about control, not freedom.

          • Bob666

            Don,
why do you have such a hard one towards Islam? What has happened to you on your life experience for you to feel this way?

          • macgyver1948

hungry4food… Sad, isn’t it, something like that which to different degrees goes on on both sides of the aisle. But also so much more of the Plutocracy building domestically is from the Right especially through the Tea Party’s GOP ownership and control. That is where we need our most attention or we miss it. Sad. Isn’t it?… :-)

I will find the time to watch the video you suggest, thank you. We could all be hungry for food (and homes) if the Corporations get their ways and through the TPGOP they just might if we let it happen.

I do not trust politicians in general, whatever side they are on, but I am more comfortable with one side over the other but I bet you see that..

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Both major parties are rife with Crony Capitalists, MacGyver. You either are disgusted by their existence or not. You can’t dis them just because they vote for Republicans.
But then, it doesn’t surprise me in the least that, you being a Liberal Progressive, your Principles change depending on who’s in office.

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH… Yes, both major parties are plagued with their varying degrees of Crony Capitalists, no doubt about that, but one is more so than the other and they show it in their obvious compliances. Yep, I think that is Right, LOL. There are hints to those Right compliances in the next paragraph if you can’t understand what I mean with my bad
            English.

What does “You can’t dis them just because they vote for Republicans” mean considering I do not “dis” anyone just because they vote Republican? I have never been in favor of how the Republicans conduct
themselves, pretty much always in my life time more in favor of the Corporations than the rest of us, but until Tea bought most of them I was in agreement with a two-party system. I always felt we need opposing structure in Congress because one party can get too pushy with their agendas if there was no “other” side to debate them. Now with Tea and Norquist pledges we have control of most elected GOP and some appointed officials who live to please Tea/and the Norquists for their total Corporate and control agendas.

Was that not easy enough for you to comprehend? I would bet, if I were a betting person, you do understand, you just do not like it because though there is loads of truth to it.

About your last paragraph with what doesn’t surprise you about me. There are things Obama does I do not like as there were things Clinton did I opposed, such as his support for NAFTA. But, considering all that,
for the most part I still see the Left as the lessor evils. You just cannot get that, can you? Is it painful for you to go against your Tea-like programming?

          • TheOriginalDaveH

You and your “Norquist Pledge” obsession. You are kind of a one-trick pony, MacGyver. You ought to do some alternative reading and expand your horizon.
And you’re wrong about the Democrats and their Crony Capitalists. You can start with GE, which is so obviously intertwined with the Obama Administration, that even the class idiot could see it.
Pick up a copy of this book, MacGyver, and learn something. A side benefit will be that the more you read proper English, the more you will learn to speak it:
            http://www.amazon.com/The-Big-Ripoff-Business-Government/dp/0471789070

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH… I do loads of reading and research. The Norquist Pledge in its background control is still around and very dangerous to America, it, for our sake, should be outlawed. It owns and controls, through intimidation and threat of those who signed, the voting privileges of over 270 GOP plus others in Congress and it is all at our expense.
As long as it, and other Tea-like ventures of Control over our Government exist I will talk about them. To not is like giving into that nasty anti-America control and I cannot do that. I know you can’t understand that but it is what it is.

Let me ask you something. Would you tell the medical researches and scientists to stop looking for cancer cures? I see that as the same in what you do to get me to stop fighting against the conflict-of-interest Norquist Pledge, it is not at all only about taxes. Look it up thoroughly enough if you know how.

You say to me “And you’re wrong about the Democrats and their Crony Capitalists. You can start with GE, which is so obviously intertwined with the Obama Administration, that even the class idiot could see
it”. How am I wrong when I said to you and others here and elsewhere, often enough, that both parties have their “Crony Capitalists”. You really do see only what you are allowed to see in the words of those who disagree with you. GE is that to some extent
but so were the huge Oil Companies with the tiny bush, and on and on with other presidents on both sides. Are you dyslexic or just heavily Tea-like Programmed? Maybe both??? I wonder if it suc*ks as bad as it sounds to be so programmed as you and those who think and act as you do.

I will look at the book you recommend as I have time but I have a very heavy reading load. I love the title though “The Big Ripoff: How Big Business and Big Government Steal Your Money”.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

I notice as usual, MacGyver, that you don’t post a link to the pledge, preferring instead to obfuscate your claims. So I will post it for readers to easily see for themselves what it says:
            http://s3.amazonaws.com/atrfiles/files/files/Federal%20Pledge.pdf

And, as usual, MacGyver just can’t seem to make a comment without the gratuitous Argumentum ad Hominem attacks.

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH… You are incredible and not in any kind of good way. Do your own homework. The Pledge is available on line so go get it. But I will tell you this – AGAIN. The Norquist Pledge is short and tidy mostly
saying it is about not voting to raise taxes but the problem is not what is on the surface of it, there is so much behind that surface that Norquist speaks of that is dangerous. I think that underneath stuff is why more and more GOP want out of the Norquist Pledge, a
case of conscience I guess. The are articles on that too. Here is one since you say you want links but continue to miss them when I offer them. – http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/dozens-of-republicans-open-to-bucking-norquist-pledge-see-the-full-list. You Davey boy, you will see there are so many pieces of property owned by the N-Pledge in Congress and elsewhere. Again, we who are not of the affluent are losing.

I have often posted links, here and else where, to Norquist quotes and videos where he tells how the GOP, and others, will sign the pledge and win nomination, sign the pledge and win the generals, sign and violate the pledge and your career will be toast. Politicians with price tags on their backs would have resistance problems with those kind of offers. How could those kinds of politicians pass up all that
campaign money and support as they neglect to take notice of the threat to make toast of them and their careers if they violate the pledge? A direct quote of Norquist’s is, during the last Presidential campaign, “Don’t worry about Romney, he will do as he is told”.
That would get me to ask, “Who would really be ruining the Oval Office if Romney wins”? God forbid for Romney to win since Norquist and Tea own him.

Norquist also said he doesn’t want a decision maker in the White House, he/they want a person with the digits to hold a pen and just sign whatever is put in front him/her. That was after saying they do not want someone with an idea on what direction the country should go since they know what direction it should go, ALL RIGHT CONSERVATIVE. All this and more from Norquist and Tea, scare me.

Ok TheOriginalDaveH, I have given you enough to do some searches and they are simple enough unless you are too lazy or too afraid to find there might be
some truth in what I say. It should be so simple for you to do these searches because it was simple for me to get started. After all, you say I am so dumb I cannot put together correct coherent English sentences so it should be so simple for a brilliant guy like you.
There are over 270 GOP signers in Congress, and those like Rand Paul (that is a lot of Tea property), and Tea seems to feel they own the House and they want the Senate and The Oval Office too. If that
happens we all lose, well, except for Tea and the big Corporations..

I know you cannot stand what I say so go do the research on what I am saying…. That is unless —> see above… :-)

It, the Mafia-like N-Pledge, reads (short and tidy huh Davie boy):

I, ______, pledge to the taxpayers of the ______ district of the state of ______ and to the American people that I will: One, oppose any
and all efforts to increase the marginal income tax rates for individuals and/or businesses; and
Two, to oppose any net reduction or elimination of deductions and credits, unless matched
dollar for dollar by further reducing tax rates

This simple/short and tidy pledge will not allow for when it is necessary for the Economy, meaning for us, to raise taxes, that does really happen. But, again, it is the behind these simple short tidy words that make it more scary.

Davey boy, also look up the Norquist quotes about the budget being dropped down to a size that can fit in a bath tub or going back to what it was at the beginning of the century, meaning the 20th century, not this one. To mean this one it would take us back only toe where it was before the little g w bush’s huge tax break gifts for his hugely wealthy buddies and they cannot have that.

Can even you imagine a budget that small running the military,. For example, (why would anyone want to go in at all or consider making it a career ?) What needed survives, now in place, would die out from starvation if the levels go down that much, a bath tub? He knows
those needed services, such as Social Security and Medicare and many others, would die out, he is no dummy, but he wants that considering his bath tub size scenario. Tea wants that if you are smart enough to
            follow the real trail.

Oh gee Davey boy, I have helped you too much since you refuse any possibility that I could be correct in anything I say so GO DO YOUR OWN SEARCHES!!! I really do pity you, :-).

Yep, the Right is the greater evil among all the evils.

TheOriginalDaveH… Since you recommended that book I would like to suggest an article on CNN that you might enjoy reading, but I do not really think so
because my guess is you wont want to agree with it. Its a year and a 1/2 or so old but lets not bicker, there are interesting facts about any administrations in general that are common stuff for all administrations depending on the economy at the time and programs
that go into effect. Some of the little bush’s bad economic programs didn’t go into effect until Obama was in office for a while but the Tea and the Right in general blamed Obama for them just the same.

Here is that article I suggested above:

Did Obama really make government bigger?

            By
            Tami Luhby @CNNMoney January
            25, 2012: 7:11 AM ET

Did President Obama increase the size of the federal government?

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — President Obama = big government.

Or so say the Republican presidential candidates. Newt Gingrich has labeled him the “food stamp president” for expanding entitlements, while Mitt Romney has said the size of the federal government has “exploded” under Obama.

By many measures, the federal government has indeed grown during Obama’s tenure. Spending as a share of the economy has gone up. The number of
federal employees has risen. More Americans are relying on federal assistance.

But not all of those things were the president’s doing.

CNNMoney takes a look at the facts.

Spending: Government spending as a share of the economy has hovered around 24% during the
Obama administration, several percentage points higher than under President Bush, according to Congressional Budget Office data. It’s also elevated from the historical average of 20.7% over the past 40
            years.

Much of that increase has come from mandatory spending, including Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid. Those programs have expanded mostly because of the recession, which has prompted more people to apply for Medicaid and Social Security, as well as the growth in people hitting retirement age.

“How much do you lay at the recession’s feet versus the president’s policies?” said Josh Gordon, policy director at the Concord Coalition, a fiscal policy group. “The aging of the population can’t be blamed on the president.”

            More at
            http://money.cnn.com/2012/01/25/news/economy/obama_government/index.htm

TheOriginalDaveH, then ask yourself “Did the George W Bush administration increase the size of government at all or did any of his doings shrink
government and the spending?”. Just a “small” point as an example, his Immoral wars are still costing us today as are some of his economic policies. Enjoy!!!

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Of course Obama made Government bigger. How could he not have with his takeover of 1/7th of our economy with the Obamacare fiasco?

          • macgyver1948

TheOriginalDaveH… Any president who works to give us a National Heath Care Program would increase the budget and the size of Government. Even the one
the GOP wanted to get passed in Congress in 1992 (with their Mandate in it, the one we all hate now in ObamaCare), as perhaps a result of President President Reagan’s suggesting a National Heath Care Program because of need, would increase the budget and the size of government. Ronald Reagan Myth Doesn’t Square with Reality

By BRIAN MONTOPOLI / CBS NEWS/ February
            4, 2011, 3:06 PM

Reagan, who served as president from 1981 -1989 and died in 2004 at the age of 93, is widely considered the patron saint of conservatives; ask a prominent conservative their hero, and odds are they’ll point to the Gipper. (The adulation is so widespread that candidates at a debate last month among the candidates to be RNC chairman were asked their
hero – “aside from President Reagan.”)

Reagan is perhaps most often invoked by those who cast him as having held the line against tax increases. Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist, for example, often points to Reagan when calling for
lower taxes and spending cuts; he says, by contrast, “tax hikes are what politicians do when they don’t have the determination or the competence to govern.” Conservatives also hail Reagan as a budget cutter willing to make hard choices to keep spending in line.

It’s certainly true that Reagan entered office as a full-throated conservative vowing to cut both spending and taxes. And he quickly followed through on part of that promise, passing a major reduction in marginal tax rates. (According to author Lou Cannon, the top
marginal rate fell from 70 percent when he came into office to 28 percent when he left.)

But following his party’s losses in the 1982 election, Reagan largely backed off his efforts at spending cuts even as he continued to offer the small-government rhetoric that helped get him elected. In fact, he went in the opposite direction: His creation of the department of veterans affairs contributed to an increase in the federal workforce of more than 60,000 people during his presidency.

And while Reagan somewhat slowed the marginal rate of growth in the budget, it continued to increase during his time in office. So did the debt, skyrocketing from $700 billion to $3 trillion. Then there’s the fact that after first pushing to cut Social Security benefits –
and being stymied by Congress – Reagan in 1983 agreed to a $165 billion bailout of the program. He also massively expanded the Pentagon budget.

Why are you talking about President Bush? He has been out of office for almost 6 years. The current pretender in office is the subject. We know your hate for anything that is not libturd or progturd. I remember yoiu calling me a Nazi, which is nonsense. Here is an article that talks about the impeachment of Obama bin Laden.

            http://www.wnd.com.2013/10/rep-stockman-seeks-special-prosecutors-for-obama/

Let’s hope that they really try to impeach him and not just give lip service. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

samurai… I know history is not something you want to learn from, especially if you are as many on the Right and hate to be proven wrong by it, and I know you are, you will not understand my response for mentioning the little bush thing.

If you were following the thread between TheOriginalDaveH and me you would know he was trying to blame all spending increases on Obama. I
was trying to tell him all Presidential administrations have increases in spending including the tiny bush and President Reagan. I never said Obama hasn’t but he says to me:

From TheOriginalDaveH — “Of course Obama made Government bigger. How could he not have with his
takeover of 1/7th of our economy with the Obamacare fiasco?”.

            10:01 a.m., Monday Nov. 4
(samuari, There is more to the thread but way go into it here and now with you?)

I am going to be overly polite with you because we haven’t spoken in a little while. In reality there are so many lessons that can be learned from history and if we ignore them we can be doomed to repeat the consequences. There are lessons to be learned from your bible too, the King James was not translated and published until the 15th Century, and other Christian Bibles go back further than the little bush administration too.

Were the publications of all those each-a-little-bit-different Christian Bibles longer ago than how long ago it has been since the little bush left office to you or not? Yet you still push what is in your chosen
Christian Bible. We learn many things from history which is why it is required in grade through high school. Is that still an alien concept for you or are you too so programmed that you can respond only to
your handlers who do not want you to know and repeat your sides mistakes? There are things Obama, and also Clinton, who have made what I consider wrong decisions for us and I talk about them because they too need to be exposed and hopefully they do not get repeated.

The ways you also typically speak on sites such as this one, with your Right-Speak, the anger child in you screams out how cooker-cutter you are with “libturd or progturd” and of course your dilution based classic “Obama bin Laden. These labels you and others like you choose to use shows how less-than kindergarten-minded you are. Not that I expect you to but you haven’t changed one bit, with your immaturity and closed mindedness. Oh, I referred to your actions as “Nazi-Like”, not you.

Steve Stockman, that is who you are using to back up your hate? Good luck with that. This Texan on the Potomac is just another who will hate all those who will not agree with his side. Not very American in that, just like you politically and in how you insist your religion
is Right for all or else in your attitude. You say “Let’s hope that they really try to impeach him and not just give lip service”. You are entitled to your opinion and so am I with “I hope George W Bush is charged with war crimes and tried for them”. See how beautiful
            Free Speech is? :-)

I do have “both faith in GOD and love of country” and for The US Constitution and I know I am a patriot. I allow for others to have their beliefs and views expressed as much as I want for mine. You cannot say that of yourself just by the ways you act and speak :-).

See, I told you I was going to be overly polite with you, more than you deserve.

Are you really using “Ecclesiastes Chapter 10:2 A wise man’s understanding is at his right hand; but a fool’s understanding at his left” (I took it directly for the
original, the Hebrew Bible) to attempt to say being on the Left politically is wrong and on the Right politically makes you right in God’s eyes? WOW. Who would be dumb enough to do that association and believe it if that is what you are doing? LOL. At least you didn’t
take it out of The Hebrew Bible because you are insulting it if you did – if you are making that RIGHT/LEFT association attempt. :-) LOL

Yours was “The wise man keepeth his heart in his right hand, the fool keepeth it in his left.” Close enough.
            Ecclesiastes 10:2

LOL OrigionalDave, I knew that, probably so much longer than you, but your point is inane in this comment of yours as it is in many of your comments. I grew up with older relatives who came over here from Europe after WW2 with tattooed numbers on their forearms and I heard their stories about the evil Nazi “Socialists”, the Extreme Right Conservatives over the there, ever since I was a small kid. That is what Socialism, Nazism, does within their agendas, “take over the economy” if they can. It’s a great thank-God thing that Hitler failed in his attempt by the end of WW2 or this country would have been his kinds perhaps even until today.

This too is what you are missing in my posts. I do not want Socialism taking over, not the Tea Party kind or any kind that will weaken or negate the US Constitution.

“Do you get it” finally OrigionalDave or are you still not
understanding me because that makes it easier for you to “pretend” misunderstanding than to know what I mean since I do not agree with your kind? LOL

No. 11 says “he/she believes in monster gov-meant {sic –government by Godzilla and King Kong?) and believes in “secular values.” Secular values would seem to include such things as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, democracy, etc., all of which were opposed by many religions until recently. 12. Refers to those who praise socialist purgatories bu bash America. Are you referring to countries like Uzbekistan and Byelorussia? Certainly purgatories but rarely phrased. Or to countries like Canada and New Zealand, which hardly qualify as purgatories?

First, we are a republic and not a democracy. Immoral relativism is what they’re all about! Their favorite critical-thinking logical fallacy is the slanderous Argumentum Tu Quoque, aka: “Crime isn’t crime and islam isn’t evil because we (i.e: you) all do it, too! Whee!”

Having no factual reasons which will ever support their backwards, victim-blaming excuses, they must resort to fallacies (funny how those of us with facts, rarely if ever feel the need to resort to using fallacies, eh?)

The only real crime, to liberals, is to accuse a fellow criminal of committing a crime, to try to hold them personally accountable for self-reliant responsibility and culpability; to them, it’s all a case of diluting their own guilt with group-might-makes-right, to pretend nobody’s evil because we’re all forced into it, that we’re all really only helpless victims (of society, products of our environment, or slaves of allah) so they can claim “I didn’t do it – the group/allah made me do it!” and “In fact, I didn’t do it at all! ONLY The Group did it!”

As Ben Franklin once noted, those who are good at making excuses, are rarely good for anything else. Which description pretty-much defines Obama, no? i.e: “It’s Because I’m Black, Isn’t It?”!

Must See! The Hilarious Gift That Made Kathleen Sebelius Scowl

A Republican State Senator of Tennessee gave Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius a “gift” that made her scowl angrily, even though it may just help her out of her website woes.

The prize for single-handedly showing the abject incompetence of the Obama administration and demonstrating with historical clarity how big government screws up everything it touches?

A copy of “Web Sites for Dummies”!

    Murphy Exonerated!

    Breaking News:
    November,3,2013
    Dateline Washington, D.C.

Yesterday in Washington, the eponymous Edward Murphy was exonerated of all charges levied against him. Over the years, Mr. Murphy has been accused of many crimes against humanity, by millions of people around the world. It seems that Mr. Murphy is an extremely wealthy, International jet-setter, with ties to just about every Muti-National Corporation around the globe. Everywhere that Mr. Murphy goes, trouble seems to follow. Mr. Murphy claims that these are simply “coincidences” and that he has absolutely no connection to the events. Whenever charges against Mr. Murphy have been levied, he has fled the country to avoid prosecution.

Two Years ago, Mr. Murphy was captured by police in New York after a small fire broke out in his apartment . As he attempted to flee the building, he was arrested and charged with causing the fire as well as reckless abandonment resulting in property damage, as a result of the fire. While booking Mr. Murphy, the police discovered the outstanding warrants levied against him. They notified the Federal authorities who immediately took Mr. Murphy into custody and charged him with serveral hundred violations of the law.

Yesterday, Mr. Murphy got his day in court. After a rigorous prosecution by the Federal Government and a vigrous rebuttal by the defense team, the jury spent just 10 minutes in deliberation, before returning a verdict of Not Guilty on all charges.

After the verdict, the prosectuion commented that “The Jury got it wrong!”. “Based on a narrow loophole in the Law, a guilty man escaped justice today”. He exclaimed, “Mr. Murphy is guilty and we had him dead to rights”.

The defense attorney disagreed, saying “My client is innocent of all charges and he has been vindicated by a jury of his peers. The justice system has triumphed in this frivolous case against my client”. He added,”If the prosecution feels there is an error in the law, then they need to fix it”.

So, today the law (Murphy’s Law) was re-written and is now known as “Obama’s Law”, which states in part:

Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

    Sooner, rather than later.

    AND

    At the worst possible moment.

No matter what the evidence is, it’s always someone else’s fault.

(An original tale by an Average Joe)

Joe, I did not understand “today the law was re-written and is now known as “Obama’s Law”.
Is it literally “obama’s Law”? How about Legislation process?

      • Average_Joe56

It didn’t say it was passed (re-written)…but, if it appeases the Messiah, congress can work miracles legislating.

        ;)

      Good one, Joe!!! :)

I guessed it before I got to the end. Read the book years ago. You are good Joe!

Thank you….I just felt like writing a bit of humor…Humor makes the soul smile.
        ;)
        Book?
Actually, I just wanted to know the origins of Murphy’s Law, so I Bing’d it and found out Mr. Murphy’s first name…for a bit of authenticity to my tale.
        ;)

        • organicroseski2

Yes, in the 70’s I bought and read the book, “Murphy’s Law.” I looked on the web to see if I could find it just now. The covers looked wrong; but, at the time I did enjoy the book.

$9 Trillion Missing From Federal Reserve, No Prosecutions, Nobody Loses Their Job…

Well, 9 trillion didn’t go missing. $9 trillion was simply transferred and deposited into the private accounts of those who own the federal-reserve. The hearing, or the trial, to determine where the 9 trillion is to be found, and who is responsible for it’s disappearance, that you will see in the video presentation below, is nothing more than a mock-trial/hearing, designed to give the appearance that Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau is on the case, and will get to the bottom of it, rest assured!

This is how they steal from us, and have been stealing from us since 1910, with the creation of the Fed.

    • Jana

No one ever loses their job, and no one is ever found guilty of being wrong under the Obama misadministration. They have mock trials and we have a mock President.

      • Bill Kay

How right you are , and to allow it to contunue is unforgivable …

      • WTS/JAY

What’s really strange, Jana, but not surprising, is that, there is no mention of it from the crooked-media. You would think that $9 Trillion missing…? would be somewhat, newsworthy?

        • Jana

Burke’s Peerage: Queen Elizabeth II Descended from the Prophet Muhammad…

It is common knowledge to anyone interested in genealogy.

I know that it is hard for people invested in a hard East/ West dichotomy to imagine that the icon of Western civilization, the British royal family, has Arab Muslim antecedents (along with a host of other nationalities of course.) But it does.

This is connected to just pointing out that having ancestors named Hussein is more common among Europeans and Americans than is usually realized. Elizabeth II can’t be descended from the Prophet Muhammad without also being descended from his grandson, the original Husayn / Hussein, since that is the line of descent of the Sayyids.

It is not surprising to find the name Hussein (Prophet’s grandson Al-Husayn) in Europe and the name Fatima (Prophet’s daughter) in Latin America still being very common amongst Christians and people of other religions. Look at the current President, Barack Hussein Obama. His descendants were Muslims from Africa.

    ‘United Press International
    October 10, 1986
    MOSLEMS IN BUCKINGHAM PALACE

Mixed in with Queen Elizabeth’s blue blood is the blood of the Moslem prophet Mohammed, according to Burke’s Peerage, the geneological guide to royalty. The relation came out when Harold B. Brooks-Baker, publishing director of Burke’s, wrote Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to ask for better security for the royal family. ”The royal family’s direct descent from the prophet Mohammed cannot be relied upon to protect the royal family forever from Moslem terrorists,” he said. Probably realizing the connection would be a surprise to many, he added, ”It is little known by the British people that the blood of Mohammed flows in the veins of the queen. However, all Moslem religious leaders are proud of this fact.”

Brooks-Baker said the British royal family is descended from Mohammed through the Arab kings of Seville, who once ruled Spain. By marriage, their blood passed to the European kings of Portugal and Castille, and through them to England’s 15th century King Edward IV. ‘

Actually, I wouldn’t believe all of those sites you find on
the web. Some can be quite deceiving.

Abraham had two sons that we are dealing with right now. One
is Isaac by Sarah and one is Ishmael by Hagar.

Ishmael’s children later became known as the Arabs and Isaac’s
children through Jacob was known as Israel.

Jacob begat Judah and Judah’s children were Pharez and Zarah. Pharez line went to David the King of Israel taking this lineage to King Zedakiah. After King Zedakiah died Jermiah took his daughter Scota and Tia to Egypt with him. The eldest, Scota traveled to Iona and became the royalty in what is now known as Scotland. Queen Elizabeth is from Scotland.
To make a long story very very short.

      From the Book
The Royal House of Britain an Enduring Dynasty by Rev.W.M.H. Milner

      • Jana

I may be wrong about the fact that the Scota that went to Scotland that Scotland was named after was actually Tia and Herman the Shepherd King Prince’ Daughter who was named after Tia’s sister and her name was Scota also..

        • WTS/JAY

Queen Elizabeth is a decendant of Hebrew Egyptian lineage.flv

          • Jana

Yes yes yes. This was great. The stone under the Queens chair during her coronation is The Stone of Scone. or Jacobs Pillar. Also the Egyptians here that we are hearing about are actually Hebrews as they are Cattlemen (sheepmen) Even when Joseph ascended up so high in the ranks of the Kingdom of Egypt and had the insignia of the very King himself to do the Kings business, the King gave him to wife from these cattlemen who were from Josephs own race. Even when Joseph brought his family over during the famine to live near him they settled with the cattlemen who were all Hebrews. The lineage was protected.
