Once again, here is a classic example of something conservatives understand and the rest won’t have a clue – and don’t want to think about it. After all, that would be like admitting that their heroes are human and can and do make self-serving and illegal and immoral mistakes.
First, cap mandatory spending. Second, control the rest. Third, tax career politicians at the highest rates. Fourth, no consecutive terms for ANY politician. Fifth, give bounty hunters a free pass to chase and imprison lobbyists. Sixth, neuter anyone who wants to be a career politician. Seventh, no gold-plated health insurance for politicans. Eighth, no politician can leave Washington or retire rich. Ninth, any
politician who wants to use earmarks will be put in front of a firing squad. Tenth, only MREs can be served in any congressionl restaurant, cafe or snack bar.
Last, any politician who disagrees with any of the above points will be thrown into prison – immediately.
Gee, I thught this might be tough.

I loved the clarity this brought to the problem at hand… shedding light on the REAL issue. Keynesian economists have a difficult time understanding that overspending is bad. They forget that the strength of a nation remains in each individual. If I overspend, I get into financial trouble. If I promise to pay more than I make, I PAY more than I MAKE. The current administration is truely practicing VODOO economics… Why??? because when it is all said and done who pays for it??? “Vo(you) Do!!!!”

How about every state being responsible for itself with the Governor being it’s top dog not the President?. Every state should raise it’s own money, pay it’s own politicians with a limited time in office. Run their schools, health insurance, taxes and everything else the way they want to run it. Every state is different. Why should we pay for California’s problems and the like. How about not letting those born with a silver spoon in their mouth run for office? Regular working citizens like teachers (not lawyers) that really understand the problems a working family endures. Even with the new Obama care, no one is really going to make illegals pay for their own insurance, why should they, they get free care now and will continue to do so. I totally agree with what SC says. But that only makes perfect sense and Washington would never listen to common sense!

I have thought before that maybe we should have a National Referendum every 4 years on the total amount of money that the Federal Government can spend per annum. But then I realized that the uneducated would just allow the budget to grow ever larger.
I guess the only real solution is to give the citizens with school age children vouchers to send their kids to the schools of their choice. Hopefully they would use the vouchers to send their kids to private schools where they could learn something about economics.

Let’s see if I get this. Under Reagan, Bush I and Bush II federal spending rocketed faster than under any other modern administrations and government ballooned enormously in the form of a massive expansion of the defense industry. Clinton managed to bring the deficit down, avoided further growth of the military-industrial complex and encouraged the rapid growth of the economy as well as a very stable and lucrative stock market. How do you see this as being evidence that Obama and the Democrats will do worse than during these five largely disastrous GOP terms?

Let’s see. To you, only the past matters, and the present is irrelevant. Let’s see. Comrade obama makes Reagan and Bush I and Bush II look like cub scouts. Comrade obama uses a twisted combination of fascism, socialism and communism to play hell with our economy, destroy our ability to use innovation and lose yet more jobs, punish small businesses and gut the dollar.
Let’s see. Your #1 role model is a dreamer on bad lsd, and that’s OK with you. Comrade obama thinks saul alinsky is a god. Hmmm hmmm hmmm. To take a guess, you smoke the same mind-blowing drugs that your role model favors. You believe everything the prostitute, mainstream media says. Your role models are never wrong (do mary poppins and peter pan keep you safe and warm at night?).
Obviously, your view of the world requires that you never have both feet in the real world. Anything that sounds good must be good. When someone disagrees with you, you run home and tell mummy and dada you’re being picked on. Hmmm hmmm hmmm. Until you manage to get your head screwed on right, you won’t be able to figure out anything. You and friends hate reality, and you love fantasy. Chum, this is NOT about party politics. Look in the mirror, and take off those damned dark glasses. Let’s see. Do you ‘get it’ now?

How about this, if I’m willing to admit that the GOP administrations you name overspent and increased the deficit are you willing to admit the same for our current administration? Because I just love the defense that complaints against President Obama are not valid simply because he’s doing the same thing previous President’s did. You say it was bad when they did it, but you say it isn’t bad for Obama to do it because they did it first? That’s rather childish.

Oh yeah, will you also admit that Clinton balanced the budget and reduced the deficit by signing laws that a Republican Congress passed? Because I have absolutely no problem with stating that.
