How Ted Kennedy Saved America

April 19, 2012 by

Wayne Allyn Root explains that President Barack Obama’s socialist agenda was working to perfection until Ted Kennedy died and Obama lost his crucial 60th vote in the U.S. Senate. The day Kennedy died might well be looked back on by historians as the beginning of the end of the Obama Presidency.

In a way, I find this amusing. At the time Kennedy died, my online comment was that the world is a better place with him gone. I was more right than I thought.

    • Tom W.

Do ya think Wayne didn’t like Teddy or what Harold?!! LOL!!! Talk about tellin’ it like it is! Killer piece Wayne!!! Kudos, now I tell ya this out of love Bro, switch to decaff!!! I PRAY that Ted Kennedy asked Jesus ot forgive him before he died, because I believe that he was a snotty-nosed spoiled completely rotten Kennedy brat who got away with murder and if he didn’t, he’s where the Bible says that the fire is never quinched and the worm dieth not!!! God works in strange and mysterious ways and this CRUCIAL turn of events in our national history, (Wayne did an excellent job of pointing out how CRUCIAL that event was!) is an AWESOME example of Him doing what He does behind the scenes!!!
Keep your eyes on the skies!!!

Hey Tom……………..learn to spell please………’s hard enough to follow your slow moving train of thought without having to decipher the words!!

maggie, who cares? That you’re slow is not our concern.

      • Old Henry

        maggie, maggie, maggie:

It’s not Tom. It’s his keeybord.

Oh, and speaking of spelling, Maggie is a proper nown and should be capitalized.

      • Tom W.

Hey maggie, bite me!!! Did i spell that correctly enough for ya to follow along without to much stress on your little lemming head! It’s so messy when one of y’all blow!!! BOOM!

      • http://naver sook young

Sorry Maggie, but I don’t think Tom’s thinking is slow. If itm is too slow for you to understand, then maybe yours is the slower thinking. You are right Tom, he did get away with murder because of his family name. His spelling also does not matter, but isn’t it the points he is making that are important? Thank you.

Classless! Ted Kennedy was a true Patriot, loving this country and championing rights of the less fortunate.

  • Michael J.

If Scott Brown is your idea of a Republican, I have some ocean front property in Arizona you may be interested in. And to hear that you attended The Columbia School of Communism, whose list of alumni reads like a commie who’s-who with the likes of Saul Alinsky, Cloward & Piven, Hillary Clinton and the American launching point of The Frankfurt School and their now infamous “Political Correctness” mandate, is disturbing and is causing me to re-think what you are about.

As far as the end date for the current pretender goes, when will we see it??? And what effects will the collapse of the European economy, another oil crisis or the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria play on the demise of The Pied Piper of the murcid masses of entitlement sponges clinging to his further existance? What does the seer see?

    • Vigilant

What in God’s name is your problem?

Your first paragraph is absolutely off base. Did you even play the video clip? Mr. Root excoriates the very things you imply that “disturb” you! You need to quicky “re-think what you are about,” for sure.

      • Tom W.

I agree 100% with your assessment Vig!

      • Deerinwater

It good to see all that money spent on a “Creative Writing class” wasn’t a complete waste.

While not bothering to view the clip, speaking poorly of the dead is beneath my principals, I was amused by the pretense for the clip, for indeed Ted Kennedy’s untimely demise did indeed placed the DNC and Obama at a great disadvantage at a critical time. Then too, this was followed by the shooting of congresswoman Gilford that had a negative effect in congress as well.

After all of this, the DNC and Obama has still managed to move the ball and make substantial gains while the GOP has attempted to stop any and all instinctive and gridlock government on the Federal level.

Wayne Allyn Root, while it will be a slug-fest, 44 will enjoy a second term and will continue to be your President. So you might think about changing the batteries in your Crystal Ball.

Mitt Romney is a leaky bucket to place all your hopes and dreams in. I really don’t believe that the GOP actually wants the JOB. If they did, they would offer us a serious contender.

      • Tom W.

Gloating a little soon aren’t we Deer?!

    • http://google Mary

Michael, you need to read the book “The Senator” about Teddy boy.
You may not think Scott Brown is a Republican, BUT in the eyes of most of Ma. he is.
I don’t know why they kept re-electing the corrupt Teddy, he cheated on his family, he was always “saying” he was for the underdog, singing in Spanish to his Amigos that he couldn’t get amnesty fast enough for, while screwing the Legal citizens of this country, I to did a sigh of relief when he passed to where I don’t know, as he was the devil while on this earth, but he may have received forgiveness from the Lord for his wanton ways.

      • http://aol jake craig

He screwed everyone he came in contact with! How about him and the CROOK Dodd, screwing the waitress under the restaurant table in DC!

      • Tom W.

You said that right Mary! He’s the closest thing that MA has to offer, and as Wayne pointed out, it TURNED the tide just in the nick of time, it was like that great stand off in the Bible when the Assyrians under Sennacherib were outside the walls of Jerusalem threatening to destroy the city and ALL seemed lost for the ancient capital of the Jewish people when suddenly and MYSTERIOUSLY over night the entire invading force simply perished!

Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.
        2 Kings 18:13

“Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD. For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh. And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.”
        2 Kings 19:32-37

In 1986 Ronald Reagan gave AMNESTY to a bunch. Who hires those illegals… Big business!

        Check it out at:

      • http://naver sook young

He may have done that Robert, but doesn’t Obama want to give amnesty to more than twenty million illegals? That is more then were here during Reagan’s tenure in office. I do’nt believe in amnesty, just let them go through immigration like I did. My first visa was a student visa and I attended U.C. Berkley. If they can’t go through the system, them let them go back to their native country and try to change things there. Thank you.

Sen. Brown is a compromise on political ideaolgy. You may not think he is an ideal conservative, but in the very blue CW of MA whose voters in large have fostered a dependency on the beneficent big hand of government, he is at least electable and at least reasonable. The alternative this year is the Progressive ‘intellectual founder of the occupy movement’ (self described), Elizabeth Warren. You do not want this one; trust me!

      • Robert Smith

Of course, if you want THE PEOPLE, you know the 98%, to be treated fairly you WILL support her.

If you want the same old same old with the oil companies making record money and the 1% not being taxed much then go with the crap offered by the extreme right.

        It’s really that simple.

      • Michael J.
      • oh oh

The idea that Elizabeth Warren represents the views of 98% of the American people, or stated another way, that 98% of the American people support Warren’s extreme socialist redistribution agenda is preposterous. Political party membership numbers and incessantly published poll results of the views of Republicans and Independents, let alone some right-thinking Democrats, illustrate the folly of this kind of thinking. Warren is a fringe wacko who panders to, and can only be loved by, progressive liberals in MA, unions, academia or fringe groups like OWS.

      • http://naver sook young

Could you please cite the source of the information you have posted Rob? If you think the top money earners don’t pay much taxes, what about the fifty percent of Americans that pay no taxes at all? Please look at both sides of the issue before posting unfounded rants. Just think, in 2010 I thought that some of the things you posted were interesting to a point, but I have since then figured out what you are really about. The enslaving the people to a very big and getting bigger government. Sorry Rob, but I’ll take a smaller government as my choice. Thank you.

      • Deerinwater

“what about the fifty percent of Americans that pay no taxes at all?”

We’ve been though this before Mrs. Young. You are speaking of Federal income tax only, there are two key words there “Federal” and “income” . There is 325 or so million Americans made up of men, women and children. They don’t all earn an income. They are too young, too old, too sick, unemployed, greatly underemployed, incarcerated.

It’s really not that hard to understand why 50% of Americans pays no federal income taxes. I know that it sounds like a flaming injustice to hear but that’s just the way it is.

But I’d say that it’s completely impossible to pay “no taxes”, you can’t eat, drive, talk on the telephone, live in a house, go to the movie without paying taxes. Everybody pays taxes.

If he is re-elected in 2012, the US is finished. The following is in simple language that everyone can understand. Not the gibberish that our government keeps telling people. Please read this carefully and make sure you keep this message going. This needs to be emailed to everyone in the USA ..

By Wayne Allyn Root , June 6th, 2010

Barack Hussien Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos — thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within. Barack Hussien Obama was my college classmate ( Columbia University , class of ’83). He is a devout Muslim do not be fooled. Look at his Czars…anti-business..anti- American. As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Barack Hussien Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University .. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they’re alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival … and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions).

Obama doesn’t care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government . Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama’s biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions toObama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama “spread the wealth around.”

Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who’s asking for a 51st state? Who’s asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Barack Hussien Obama’s plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

Legalize 12 million illegal Mexican immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America . But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions — including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America.

The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama).

Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Barack Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition. With the acts outlined above, Barack Hussien Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you’ve got the perfect Marxist scheme — all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Hussien Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan!

“Correctly attributed” says snopes- except that Wayne Root never was (nor did he claim to be) a classmate of Obama, they just attended the same school at the same time!

      • Deerinwater

“Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government.”

yea well, ~ I always wanted to bonk Nicole Kiddman.

The primary effect of the tax changes over the course of Reagan’s term in office was a change in the composition of tax revenue, towards payroll and new investment, and away from higher earners and capital gains on existing investments.

Federal revenue share of GDP declined from 19.6% in fiscal 1981 to 17.3% in 1984, before climbing back to 18.4% by fiscal year 1989. Personal income tax revenues fell during this period relative to GDP, while payroll tax revenues rose relative to GDP. President Ronald Reagan’s 1981 cut in the top regular tax rate on unearned income reduced the maximum capital gains rate to only 20%–its lowest level since the Hoover administration.

This tax benefits the wealthy, however, in 1986 President Reagan set tax rates on capital gains at the same level as the rates on ordinary income like salaries and wages, with both topping out at 28 percent.

Reagan significantly increased public expenditures, primarily the Department of Defense, which rose (in constant 2000 dollars) from $267.1 billion in 1980 (4.9% of GDP and 22.7% of public expenditure) to $393.1 billion in 1988 (5.8% of GDP and 27.3% of public expenditure); most of those years military spending was about 6% of GDP, exceeding this number in 4 different years. All these numbers had not been seen since the end of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War in 1973.

In 1981, Reagan significantly reduced the maximum tax rate, which affected the highest income earners, and lowered the top marginal tax rate from 70% to 50%; in 1986 he further reduced the rate to 28%. The federal deficit fell from 6% of GDP in 1983 to 3.2% of GDP in 1987. The Federal deficit in Reagan’s final budget fell to 2.9% of GDP.[2] The rate of growth in Federal spending fell from 4% under Jimmy Carter to 2.5% under Ronald Reagan.

As a short-run strategy to reduce inflation and lower nominal interest rates, the U.S. borrowed both domestically and abroad to cover the Federal budget deficits, raising the national debt from $997 billion to $2.85 trillion.

This led to the U.S. moving from the world’s largest international creditor to the world’s largest debtor nation.

Reagan described the new debt as the “greatest disappointment” of his presidency.

    • DaveH

First of all, Michael, I didn’t hear Wayne endorsing Scott Brown. Secondly, don’t you think you’re behaving a bit like the Liberals when you judge Wayne based on the University he attended?
I think Scott Brown sucks eggs, but most people probably would agree that the alternative would have been worse. Myself, I’m not so sure. Maybe the Cap and Trade and other such disastrous bills would have finally woken the apathetic voters to reality. As it is now we still are seeing, even on this board dedicated to the pursuit of Liberty, a large portion of the commenters advocating for the lesser of two evils instead of facing the facts that evil is still evil, lesser or not.

      • Tom W.

It was the timing of the whole thing that was, dare I say it, MIRACULOUS DaveH!!!

      • Michael J.

I call things like I see them, Wayne called Scott Brown a Republican. I think that’s an inacurate description
You are always the first to say that choosing the lessor of two evils leaves you stuck with evil. Scott Brown is the “Republican In Name Only” poster boy, there is not a finer example.

As for Wayne and his University attendance, When Obama claims to have sat in Rev. Wright’s church for twenty years without knowing what he was really about was an insult to our inteligence.
Mr. Root is now asking us to believe a similar scenario. I have enjoyed Mr. Root’s comments up to this point, but this new
developement gives me pause. I know plenty of Columbia alumni that
managed to escape without a hammer and sickle tattooed on their
forehead, let’s hope he’s one of them. Because Columbis is an assembly line churning out little commies faster than you can say “Do svidaniya”.

As for Ted, I saw him in action many times in the late seventies in O’Hara’s night club on North County Rd. in Palm Beach. After harassing, nearly assaulting every woman at the bar, he would stop only because he had reached his inebrial saturation point and could no longer keep his legs under himself. At this point, well trained Palm Beach Police for whom this had become routine, would then heap him drooling and urinating simutaneously into a squad car for delivery to the family mansion on Ocean Blvd.

I agree with you 100% that Mr. Brown is as worthless as – well a ten day old bag of road apples.

As to Old Teddy, he was but a “symptom of the total sickness” of this nation as a whole just as the O’mon is.

Afterall he had how many American’s who voted for him TIME after TIME.
Let alone voting for him with his brain in complete shut down mode, if thats how like your leaders, whats that say about this nation.

This nation is really sick and saddly its rotten to its very core, now oddly it’s really quite obvious to anyone who dare look at this nations sickness for what it really is.

“Utter complete Ignorance and Stupidity.” Based on Idol worship, nice hair, and handshaking dip wads who kiss your baby. Hey that also worked for Hitler & Stalin too!

Yet how many of you still want tol blame – that Guy or the other GUY.

      All Americans need todo is look at themselfs and ask;
( whats wrong with me that I would have allowed this all to unfold? )

Only when Americans can { accept thier blame } in this whole mess – then and only then, can we start to fix the problems we have.
** But first this nation has to come to grip with the fact that we are all guilty of the wrongs as we sat back complacently and let it all unfold with out even asking why.
Now will Americans grow a set or will they just keep on keeping on? Thats the question.

JFRT — Yes it can happen right here in America, and it has, again saddly – all of US let it all happen. And Yes; we are all guilty in one shape or form so don’t even bother to post your not.

So, does that mean that Ronald Reagan should have died before he became president? Just to name a few.

The straw that broke the camels’s back in my humble opinion is when our auto industry dropped the ball and allowed imports to outshine and outperform American made automobiles because they wouldn’t spend the prophets nessesary to do so. Now I know that a lot of you far-right idiots, and y’all are every bit as bad as the far-left idiots, throw all the blame on the UAW but I worked at the Ford Motor Co. at the end of the Carter Administration,I saw how things got done, EVERY corner was being cut in favor of the almighty bottom line! And the people with money in this country, we called ‘em Yuppies at the time, thought it was posh to drive Volvos and Saabs, while lower income earners were turning to the Japanese makes because of their fuel economy and the plain old simple fact that you could count on them to start every morning when ya put the key in the ignition!
We need to be in prayer for our Japanese friends and our world also if some of the reports I’ve heard comin’ out of Fuchishima are accurate and I don’t know why they wouldn’t be!

      • Ted

I’m sorry, W.A.R,, but this is one of your lamest posts. As anyone who has followed current events for the last 80 years knows, the Democrats never vote in lock step! There have always been “Blue Dogs” or “Dixiecrats”, ever since the the Democrats became the majority party in 1932. The rest of the blot was merely a demonstration of conservative’s uncanny ability to read other people’s minds and to tell the future.

What planet are you currently residing on Tom? You think the UAW didn’t have anything to do with the demise of the American auto industry? Talk about in denial. It was a combination of the UAW and lousy management on the part of the big 3 that led to this mess. Instead of standing up to the ever more ridiculous demands of the UAW, management chose to stick it to the consumer by “cutting those corners” you mentioned. After all, they had 90% of the market in this country so as long as the big 3 greased the greedy union the car buyer really had no choice but to buy their sh–ty products. NOT. They were exposed by the Japanese, and the rest is history.

By the way, you can hang a good bit of the current crisis of health care on the UAW as well. When they ran out of wage demands they started on benefits (not just the nutty guaranteed pensions at age 45 or something) but the actual medical benefits. 100% coverage was demanded and that type of benefit design trickled into the rest of American industry trying to compete for labor (which at that time was scarce). The result is we created a citizenry of ignorant uniformed users of healthcare with no clue as to what medical services actually cost.

Yeah, big unions are really admirable aren’t they?

      • Tom W.

speedle, I said nothing of the sort, WE as a collective unit management and labor dropped the ball and let our overseas competitors not only take over the market but to also come into our own country and take over the industry!!! I, LIKE YOU, feel that there is plenty of blame to go around and I as an auto-worker from that time period will take mine! I used to roll at least nine or so joints to take to work for breaks and usally always spent lunch at the lounge RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD from the Louisvlle Assembly Plant! But as I was sayin’ earlier, assembly line work is so much more tolarable when you’re comfortably numb! I know it’s no excuse but it’s all I got!!!

      • Robert Smith

“The result is we created a citizenry of ignorant uniformed users of healthcare with no clue as to what medical services actually cost.”

How do you justify an $8.00 asprin?

The “cost ” of medical care went up in large part because of the GREED of insurance companies and their bad investments. When they bought stocks that went down they increased rates.

OTHER countries have Universal Health Care and their car companies aren’t hit with health care AT ALL. Doesn’t that make much more sense for America? Oooooooh, I get it, you want to DENY health care to people.

Clue: Denying health care isn’t “pro-life.”

      • speedle

Okay Tom, we seem to be in the same general consensus on what happened to the auto industry. I apologize if I misinterpreted your position.

Robert Smith, on the other hand, has no idea what he is talking about.

“The “cost ” of medical care went up in large part because of the GREED of insurance companies and their bad investments. When they bought stocks that went down they increased rates.”

That sounds like some crap that might come out of a Democrat propaganda release. Please connect the dots for us as to how “greed” by the industry that finances the health care expenses (losses) causes the expenses to increase. Wow, if this works maybe I can get my clients to pay more for my services if I go Las Vegas and lose a bundle. I am sure they would understand.

That’s not the way it works Robert, especially not in the health insurance business. Health insurance carriers react to increases in underwriting losses. You see, the people who pay premiums to these “GREEDY” insurance companies are really not interested in their investments. They will take their business to a competitor instead. In any case if “GREED” is what worries you then you should promote those who want to create an environment that promotes free market competition. That is the only Rx for what you call greed.

      • oh oh

Clue: Denying Obamacare is not the same as denying healthcare and, in fact is just the opposite. Unfortunately, false dilemmas abound when it comes to views on healthcare.

    • http://google Mary

Really, you don’t thing the Unions had a LOT to do with industry leaving the U.S., OR the high tax rate?
And with all those windmills and solar, it doesn’t put even a drop in the bucket so far into our electricity needs, you would have to COVER the whole U.S. to do that, and WHAT would it do for “clean” air if the rest of the world mainly China and India told us screw you, you had yours, now it’s time for us. Their spewing out TONS of carbon wouldn’t change a dang thing, you greenies need to think about that. They are BILLIONS, we are a tiny fraction of that!

      • Flashy

No..I do not think unions or the tax rates have anything to do with the deindustrialization of this Nation.

And as for the remainder of your post…great idea, let’s do nothing and let the problem grow.

      • Tom W.

The way I see it Mary is, are our unions corrupt? Why of course they are! How could they, and why should they be any different from anything else in the land of the almighty dollar?!! Let us never forget the workin’ conditions of the early 20th century (The sweat shops and the child labor practices!) that brought about the need for collective bargaining! People are human beings and not machines to be used and then disguarded like some old broken down piece of machinery!!! If you’ve ever had the PLEASURE of wokin’ on an assembly line, you’ve Henry Ford to thank for that dehumanizing exsperience! I also believe that everyone should exsperience that pleasure before they start to criticize auto workers about how much pay and benefits they recieve! I hear a lot of that while I don’t hear any critcizim about how much is spent on advertisers, research and developement (Which I’d like to fairly say has drastically improved over the years!) managerial pay, etc.! The UAW isn’t the only pup at the teet here!!! Thus the need for collective bargaining!

      • DaveH

Flashman doesn’t think the Coercive Unions, or the fact that Government spends over 40% of our GDP, has anything to do with our companies leaving. So what else would we expect from a Big Government shill?
And much of that money is spent to further hobble our businesses with costly regulations.
I don’t get it. Why wouldn’t our Business Owners enjoy the abusive treatment? Duh.

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

Union Members earn 29% more than non-union workers. And that’s not all. Workers in a union have greater access to healthcare, retirement and leave benefits. The right to organize and bargain collectively ensures that working Americans get a fair shot at the American Dream. That’s the Union difference.

Give yourself a raise, join a union. God bless the American Union workers.

Or would you rather work for less and let the CEOs and bosses get all the perks!

      • Robert Smith

“you’ve Henry Ford to thank for that dehumanizing exsperience…”

Actually Henry Ford understood the problem very well and paid his workers a relatively huge sum over what other manufacturers were giving their workers: “In 1914, Henry Ford started an industrial revolution by more than doubling wages to $5 a day—a move that helped build the U.S. middle class and the modern economy.” That can be found at:

Amazing! He doubles wages and made MORE money. Isn’t it amazing that MBAs work so hard to cut things that they are more responsible for flops than anyone else. It takes a qualified enthusastic worker to make a great product, NOT someone who is in an environment that is cut to the bone.

Ben and Jerry are a more contemporary embodiment of treating workers fairly and still making a pile of money.

And! America will be better if her people are treated fairly with universal health care like other modern countries. We have the best health care available, but overall we are on par with Cuba. Sheesh, something is wrong with that picture. Horribly wrong.

      • Tom W.

Yeah Robert, Henry Ford probably deserved a Nobel Peace Prize more than Barack did, Hitler and his Third Reich would’ve never made it as far as they did without the support of Henry Ford and the Ford Motor Co.!!! Such a great guy!

      • DaveH

Eric says — “Union Members earn 29% more than non-union workers. And that’s not all. Workers in a union have greater access to healthcare, retirement and leave benefits. The right to organize and bargain collectively ensures that working Americans get a fair shot at the American Dream. That’s the Union difference”.
Sure they earn more. And who do you think loses when they do? The non-unionized workers and those who lost their jobs due to cutbacks as a result of the Unionists’ higher wages. And the consumers who must pay more for shoddier products.
On top of that, they typically achieve that higher pay by using coercive methods which most of us would be thrown in Jail for, but the immoral Unionists can get away with it thanks to the Government protecting them, and/or looking the other way when they commit their crimes.

I know the Progressives think there is a Free Lunch. But the reality of Progressivism is weak economies. Of course, they will tell you that this time it’s going to be different. They will keep repeating the same failed policies over and over again expecting differ results this time. Sure.

    • Vigilant

If Reagan had died before becoming president, we’d still be in the grips of a Cold War with The USSR. Moreover, we would have foregone the longest period of prosperity in the history of the USA.

Even traditional liberals have come around to respect for Reagan. The far left in this country is still purposely ignorant of his great accomplishments.

      • eddie47d

That’s the whole point Vigilant. Reagan had some great accomplishments and some great failures like every President including President Obama.

      • TOCB

The air must be REALLY thin where you live in order for you to actually believe the myth that Reagan ended the cold war. He contributed, yes. However many people contributed to ending the cold war well before Reagan became president. And Gorbachev had at least as much to do with it as Reagan even during Reagan’s tenure . The economy? I suppose it depends on what color your glasses are. I think mine are fairly clear. And what I see is the Reagan adminstration was the beginning of run away federal budget deficits and the destruction of the middle class. Other than that, he was a decent president. At least he wasn’t the worst in my lifetime. That spot is duley awarded to my fellow Texan, George W Bush.

      • jopa

That is one of the dumbest comments I have heard in a while.Every Conservative thinks the cold war ended when Reagan said “tear down that wall” in reality Communism itself ended the cold war.The tear down comment was just as effective against the cold war as Nancy saying “just sy No to drugs”.How is that working for yah.You want prosperity bring back a Clinton.

      • Flashy

Vig…hate ta tell you this, but the USSR was falling as Reagan took office. Under any president, it would have fallen. It went through three Politcuro heads in less than three years and was going to go in any event by the time Reagan took office. he just ahpened to be in office to take the credit. The fall of the USSR didn’t occur overnight y’know…

      • Redfray

Vigilant, you bring out the best in comments. Just look at the facts that Gorbackev caused the ecomonical fall of the Russian empire. With his terrible communist views, Russia had financial problem from not having enoungh income to pay there debt. Something happen to cause the communist block to fall, and those countries contributing to the communist bankruptcy was governed by Russia. Jopa is more right than we think, except for the reasoning of what caused the financial ruin of the Russian empire. Jopa’s life was manifected by the Clinton progressive social products, but Jopa may have missed the ecomonic changes caused by the Clinton era of control of the American communist leadership. For sure the housing financial laws has contributed to the downfall of the American way of life, or should I say our pocketbooks? If communism brought down the Russian empire, will it bring down the American empire? For sure, Mr. Kennedy was trying to help the communist leadership.

      • Tom W.

I personally liked the “Trash pile of history.” Comment!

      • Thor

All you fellow travelers should know two things–one, the Saudis brought down the Russian economy by pricing the Russians out of the market (your heroes, I suppose) and Bolshevik socialism you guys seem to prefer (Flashy, et al) does not work if it can’t keep an oligarchy in power–that ’1%’ you guys are always referring to, including Bush, Obama, Clinton, Soros, etc., etc. When are you folks gonna learn that it’s not Republicans versus Democrats but us versus them…the have not’s versus the haves! We have a one party system here that has taxpayers surrounded like a circular firing squad. The quibbling in Washington is the faux moral dilemma that diverts us from our loss of freedom.

      • DaveH

Reagan did the best that he could considering the fact that he was surrounded by Big Government Progressives, even in his own party. He did veto 78 Spending Bills, but the rabid Spendthrift Congress overrode 9 of the vetoes.

      • Scott

If indeed “Communism itself ended the cold war” as Vigilant claims (and I would partly agree), then why are liberals so hell-bent on duplicating Soviet communist debt? Not to mention other fundamentally unsustainable aspects of communism. It looks like they WANT to crash the system. But for what? Another shot at unsustainable communism?? “Gee, let’s hamstring the country so that I can shoot myself in the foot!”

      • JeffH

Vigilant, I like it. The board libs go directly on the attack, as if you said Reagan “ended” the Cold War”. Imagine that?

Posted: “If Reagan had died before becoming president, we’d still be in the grips of a Cold War with The USSR. Moreover, we would have foregone the longest period of prosperity in the history of the USA”

It was simply time for Russia to fall. Reagan had little to do with it but taking credit for it.

Some of it was a “state’s rights” issue: “Several Soviet Socialist Republics began resisting central control, and increasing democratization led to a weakening of the central government. The USSR’s trade gap progressively emptied the coffers of the union, leading to eventual bankruptcy. ” That’s from:

So, is Russia better after the break-up? Would America be any better broken? Sara’s husband thinks so.

      • oh oh

For states that are not irreversibly debt-burdened or dependent upon federal handouts with strings, it depends on how repressive the national government becomes relative to the freedoms still enjoyed in the states. For those who aren’t, things could be better with a states rights agenda. For those who are, it doesn’t matter; they’re already lost.

      • DaveH

The answer to your question is simple. The Leaders are looking out for themselves. As long as they have their Power and Perks, they could care less about the rest of us.
Look to Cuba or North Korea for proof of that. The problem most of us have is that it seems illogical that they would lead their countries into poverty. But that’s because we’re moral, and behave logically. They don’t. As long as they’re on top, they’re happy.

    • Nobody’s Fool

Yeah, a few more years of Carter would have really set us up, right?? You must have eaten idiot porridge for breakfast.

      • Tom W.

OMG! Another four years of Carter and we would’ve been a third word country!!!

    • Dan

Kerry, it is disingenuous for Obama to cry “Bush did it!” when in fact, Senator Obama voted for EVERY SENATE SPENDING BILL that appeared. Furthermore, he voted to AMEND spending to even LARGER volumns!

Now, those bills need to be paid, and YOU want us to accept blaming Bush?

      You’re a coward.

      • Tom W.

        Get him Dan!!!

      • Robert Smith

So now you are blaming Obama for doing what Bush wanted?

      • oh oh

Blame both of them. Two wrongs don’t make a right and doubling down on Bush blunders is an unforgivable and independent offense by Obama. It’s not left vs. right. It’s us vs. them, and both Bush and Obama are “them.”

    • http://n/a AmFer

Reply to TOCB. Wow, you are totally off on this one. Our jobs left America thanks to pres.Carter and pres. Clinton with THEIR FAIR TRADE AND GLOBAL ECONOMY. These are facts! Either you are ill-informed, or so far ‘left’ , you need to educate yourself by searching out truth -

      • Robert Smith

What is it you don’t understand about greedy corporations sending jobs off shore?

you are wrong it was BILL CLINTON THAT SIGNED AMERICA INTO

      • Tom W.

        Tell ‘em BERNADINE!!!

    • DaveH

No, instead of “trickle down” economics, we have “trickle up” poverty.
Our manufacturing jobs have gone to China because ignorant people have swallowed the Progressive Propaganda of the Leaders and enabled to the Leaders to buy votes from Union Members by allowing the Unions to coercively trash the companies they work for, and allowing the Leaders to stifle their Crony Capitalists’ competition with onerous regulations, and allowing the Leaders to tax our companies into submission, so the only choice they had left was to leave the country.
I won’t even address the “economical alternative energy choices” because only the most brain-dead readers would believe that, and no amount of rebutting would change their simple minds.

      • JeffH

Easy DaveH, the ignorant liberals aren’t very capable of absorbing a rational comment…they’re liable to go “emotional” on you.

      • Flashy

You have any sources for those claims? (lol) The extent of your education (3rd grade level at best) is exposed. Oh wait..i forgot, you don’t need to source anyting other than refer to Mises and it’s articles you haven’t read.

      • JeffH

DaveH, and then falsy chimes in with that hypicritical “do you have any sources” krap?

DUH, as falsy so often says, look it up yourself!

The free market has been middled and ravaged by progressive warfare RINOs, with their crony capitalism, and progressive welfare liberals, with their socialist redistribution agenda, for so long that neither side makes sense. Unfortunately, the false left-right paradigm has confounded politics, academia and, yes, even this blog.

For the CEO’s of these huge corporations to allow the labor jobs to go overseas where workers have no rights, human or otherwise, they are no better than the plantation owners of the pre-Civil War days and WE as a people should be ashamed of ourselves for purchasing these products and supporting these EVIL regimes!!! We’re digging our own grave and our enemies are laughing all the way to the bank!!! What a WICKED web we weave!

      • DaveH

Anybody above an Idiot IQ could figure it out. But then, I guess that leaves you out.

      • DaveH

How can you feign concern for the foreign workers’ conditions, and then advocate putting them out of work by not buying foreign products?
Please read this book and learn something about Capitalism. You’re treading dangerously close to the Liberal side:

      • Tom W.

Whenever WE the People purchase products that are made in a foriegn country that affords their workers no kind of rights at all, human or otherwise, some of these workers are paid the equivilent of $14 a day and are housed in more or less a cage in detestable living conditions!!! We SHOULD be going into these countries trying to free these people!!! Not padding our portfolios with the profits made by exploiting them!!! We the People have became stingy with the American Dream DaveH!!! We aren’t supposed to take the second most precious gift, right behind the life of His Son, that God has blessed us with Dave, that gift of FREEDOM and keep it to ourselves! I believe that we are COMMANDED to share that FREEDOM by doing EVERYTHING in our POWER to cause that FREEDOM to spread!!! You can not make excuses for condoning that practice DaveH!

    • eddie47d

Since the Republicans have been performing their class warfare act on America for over a hundred years you would think they’d stop playing that game. Recently from the Keating Banking Scandal to the Wall Street meltdown. They cry every time they get caught with their hands in the financial cookie jar. Then promise never to do it again! Thank you Javamann!!! I know I probably don’t have to tell you how much useless information you have to sift through trying to study this subject. Every now and then you come across a true gem and this video is one, and an excellent video for the person who is just becoming curious as to what is truly happening in our world!!! Let’s face it until you see and truly understand the implications of this subject, it is extremely BORING! One of the reasons it”s been so easy to conceal. One of the things that I’ve discovered in my studies is that their signs and symbols are sacred and thus a dead give away as to the presence of their existance! One of the things held most sacred to this society is their architecture, because knowledge is one of their gods,if you will, and now look at the architecture of various state and world capitals, do ya notice a simularity?!! As a matter of fact if you study the signs and symbols, you’ll be amazed at the number of places that you’ll start to notice them! A good book on this subject is “The Secret Architecture Of Our Nation’s Capital” by David Ovason, so good that the society has put out an entire web site to debunk the book!!!

Thanks again Javamann! GOOD LOOKIN’ OUT BRO!!! I truly believe that it is this society that is spoken of in the Bible as being the kingdom of the anti-Christ which will be forever destroyed with the brightness of His Second Coming!!! So keep your eyes on the skies, cause JESUS IS COMIN’! He loves y’all and so do I!!!

No, the Dumbocrats still maintaned their 60 vote majority. Massachusetts had pulled another fast one after Ted Kennedy died in August 2009. They changed the rules, again, to allow Governor Deval Patrick to make a temp. appointment of Paul Kirk to fill the “Kennedy Seat” in September 2009 until a special election could formerly replace Kennedy in January 2010. Then when Scott Brown won the election the Massachusetts Sec. of State waited until February to certify the election, so Kirk could remain in the US Senate to make a few more crutial votes for the dumbos and for Obama. Kirk made 119 seperate votes while he was in the US Senate, each and every one of them supported the president’s desires.

Only after Scott Brown was sworn in as a US Senator on 2/4/10 did the GOP have the “vote #41″.

We are a Republic, not a Democracy.

      • eddie47d

That is what is wrong with Republicans. They think because we are a Republic only they are allowed to vote and they will make darn sure that only a select few will do so. They’ll eventually get the voting laws changed to keep more people out of the voting booths. These new laws have less to do with fraud and more to do with shrinking the ranks of Democrats.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

It is important to point out the difference between a republic and a democracy. In a republic , the rights of individuals are to be protected. The government shall make no laws that infringe upon individuals regardless of what the majority wants. In a democracy, the majority rules. This country has moved toward democracy with the bleeding hearts insisting that we support all the dead beats because it’s the “right” thing to do. It doesn’t matter if “I” don’t think it’s the right thing to do or not. I am forced to go along. Our founding fathers understood that this would happen. They set up our country as a republic so that the majority couldn’t take our rights away from us. Our government has run roughshod over the constitution and tried to convince the people that we were meant to be a democracy. Once you can force people to accept that which they don’t believe in, it’s only a short step to “collectivism” in which you can make the decisions for them because you are so much wiser than they are. This is exactly why our forefathers created a republic to begin with.

DaveH, in the 2+ years he’s been here he’s learned very little, perhaps closer to nothing. Why would he not?

Some things just can’t be fixed!

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

Wrong again as usual. Blame your BS on progressives when you know full well or at least your subconscious must know that it’s fascist pretend conservative behavior that has brought us to this point. The obscene marriage or alliance of business buying their way in our government. And knowing that the game is almost up the greedy bastards are racing to get as much as they can before it all blows up.

      • DaveH

When you embrace Libertarianism, Eric, then I will believe that you are really concerned about Fascists. The Progressive agenda demands Big Government because people would not willingly adopt their agenda. You enable the Fascists, Eric. But apparently you are either too ignorant to recognize that reality, or you are on the side that is riding on the other peoples’ backs.

    • James

Hitler wanted to seize the German government by military force but his “handlers” advised him that if he were elected he could always say ” the people elected me”, it is your follow the leader attitude no matter how evil they are that is the problem with this country. You and your type are cowards who wish for the government to take care of you. We get our freedoms from GOD not our government therefor voting our freedoms away is not righteous but self-righteous

        “Then They Came For ME”
They came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew,
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.
Martin Niemoller, German intellectual, writing about the Nazi takeover of Germany prior tp WWII

        Never Forget

        April 19, 2012

“Let this be written for a future generation,
that a people not yet created may praise the LORD:
‘The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high,
from heaven he viewed the earth,
to hear the groans of the prisoners
and release those condemned to death.’” — Psalm 102:18–20

It’s human nature to avoid talking about unpleasant topics. The more serious the topic, the more uncomfortable we feel in discussing it. And when it comes to something as horrific as the Holocaust, we often are at a loss as to how to treat such an overwhelming and sensitive topic.

Indeed, there are those who invoke the Holocaust too frequently and those who do not talk of it enough; those who speak of it appropriately, and those who do so insensitively; those who wish to forget about the past and those who seek to learn from it; those who use the Holocaust to their own advantage, and those who are humbled by its magnitude.

When it comes to the Holocaust, it is essential that we never forget. All Jews today consider themselves Holocaust survivors since Hitler’s plan was genocidal – to eradicate the entire Jewish nation. All Jews bear an awesome responsibility of telling the story of that painful and dark time in our history. We cannot allow history to repeat itself simply because we failed to convey the horrors to future generations. That’s why the stories of eyewitnesses are so important.

When one American doctor arrived at a concentration camp in Buchenwald, he walked through the barracks for the first time. He heard a voice and turned around and saw a “living skeleton” talking to him. The doctor said it was a strange feeling talking to a skeleton that talked back.

These are the kinds of stories that we cannot afford to forget, not for ourselves and not for our offspring. They convey, in vivid detail, what the eyewitnesses saw and experienced. But stories do not merely convey history; they convey moral value. A Jewish woman who was at Auschwitz said that whenever Allied planes flew overhead, she and the other Jewish prisoners prayed that they would bomb the gas chambers, “even if it meant we might be killed.” They were willing to give their lives to save others.

It’s important to convey both history and moral value to future generations. That’s why God’s word reminds us and warns us to pass it on: “Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them” (Deuteronomy 4:9).

Consider what you can do today to remember the Holocaust and to pass on these stories to the next generation so that we will never forget.

        With prayers for shalom, peace,

        Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein

We should build a monument to MARY JO she saved us from ted being president

    • DaveH

I argued then, and I still argue that Ted’s election would have awakened the apathetic American voters long ago, instead of the much smarter approach by the Republican Leaders of slowly weaning us away from Freedom and into slavery by Big Government.
Now, for instance, I hear far more people talking about the Constitution and Freedom than ever before in my life — Thanks to Barrack Obama’s impatience. That’s a good thing.
We are fast approaching a time when us oldsters will no longer be around to tell the youth how it was before the Government made our every choice and took a lion’s share of our money.

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

The government didn’t take the lion share of your money and you know it. The banksters did that and they bought the government to help them. That’s the free market you are so in love with Dave. Yes the free market can always be trusted to do the right thing. Fascism!

      • JeffH

…so says the self proclaimed “progressive”(code word for commie/socialist/fascist)Eric the Red.

Eric the Red…question for ya’? Do you identify yourself with the “99%”?

      • Tom W.

        Don’t forget Glenn Beck DaveH!

      • DaveH

Eric, in his fanatical desire to take other peoples’ money, apparently hasn’t caught on that Corruption Flows as Government Grows.
And it has nothing to do with Free Markets, Ignoramus Eric. You really don’t have a clue, do you Eric? Without Government intervention in the Marketplace, the companies who pleased the consumers (that includes banks) would be the ones who thrived. The only way unscrupulous companies can succeed is by hiding behind Government regulations, quotas, tariffs, subsidies, and other forms of protection by their Crony Politicians.
But then, being a “well-read” guy you surely already know that. So, the only conclusion I can come to is that you do already know it and are just spreading misinformation to keep your place in line at the trough.

  • TOCB

I guess I touched a nerve. But the dieing to benefit the nation thing can go both ways. It is sort of morbid conjecture either way.

    • DaveH

You get on the nerves of anybody who has any morality and knows what’s really going on,
TOCB. But I welcome your uneducated Liberal comments, as it gives me a chance to wake up those who aren’t yet too far gone.

Well Chapaquidic Teddy finally did something worthwhile for his Country!!!!

  • copakeman

did teddy ever think, he would actually do something, that would be positive for our country just by dieing (beisdes the obvious benefit) ?

  • rachal44

Well, well Teddy finally did something worthwhile for his Country!!!!!!!!!

  • Flashy

Hmmm…just as Fridys are chowder for Soup of the Day at restaurants, thursday must be “Hate America Day’ time for the Right to spout off. is highly doubtful the President dined on dog whilst living in Indonesia. Even back then, the practice was confined to very rural areas and concentrated not in the islands, but on the Malyaian Peninsula.

But don’t let anything like facts stop a good rant. it hasn’t before this.

The TP trilogy is in high gear today. Hate, fear, ignorance.

    • Shane

It’s in his book. Gee Flashy. You’re as consistent as the sun coming up, even if hidden by clouds.

      • Flashy

Shane…what’s predictable is the Moderates and moderate Conservatives writing on this site give rational, sane, doable solutions and use facts and logic. What is preictable is the majority writing here are in need of deep therapy and display hate, fear, and ignorance on a daily basis. What is predictable is that the majority of this site, i.e. the far extremist Right, offer no solutions other than to tear this nation apart, implace their own twisted values and policies ignoring economic realities and basic social mores, and return this nation to a third rate feudal agrarian society ruled by a few “nobility” based upon wealth lording it over the many.

And..what is predictable is anyuone who dares cite any policy…even those put in place by Reagan, will be denigrated, slammed, insulted, and hammered as being “communist” or ‘socialist’ and worthy of nothing more than a bullet and a shallow grave. (yes…i have at times proposed polices which were almost word for word taken from Reagan speeches and been denigrated as a commie. It was a very interesting series of experiments)

      • Shane

Flashy, what in the hell are you talking about? Your comment to me, made no sense on the topic at hand. Which, excuse me. Does make sense. When you lose the argument, don’t admit, and go on to something completely different.

I do admire your consistent dishonest rants however. Keep it up Flashy.

P.S. Other than a momentary distraction. Why do many on this site even try to debate with those that are too dishonest to discuss the various issues that divide us. Most of the writers here, do not care to debate the merits of their argument, and learn from others. It’s just one big shouting match. I’ll admit that I play in this sand box on occasion, because of the comedy. But many of those that we throw sand at, are merely throwing their own fecas out of their pants, back at others.

      • Tom W.

Blah, blah. blah, it’s called Flushblather Shane! Whatever ya do, don’t let none get on ya!!!

    • Nobody’s Fool

Hey Flashy, pull your pants up. Your you-know-what is showing.

      • jorind

Yes indeed Flashy, you are in need of deep therapy.

    • Mazer

Hey Flashy, read his book..he wrote he ate dog…sorry, the right didn’t make that up!

      • Tom W.

        I wonder if Bo knows?!!

    • FLDiane

And your sweet, loving words are such an encouragement … And SO PERSUASIVE! Paul Ryan has presented a very well organized solution to your president’s negligence to produce a budget to bring America out of the triple-down debt he has built up during his short four years in a seat he should never have been allowed to sit in. I’m pretty sure, Flash-in-the-pan, that you aren’t watching or listening much to what is really going on because your favorite media isn’t reporting what the Republican side of politics is doing in fair light.

      • Flashy

Well…if you think the ryan budget plan is a workable solution….then tell us, what exactly is set to be cut to make the levels of spending projected in said budget. Exactly what programs are put down to be slashed and cut?

Ryan’s budget calls for closing tax loopholes…can you tell us what tax loopholes will be closed (hint: they aren’t detailed and it’s anyone’s guess). Paid vouchers for Medicare? uh huh … how will that affect the millions who cannot afford above the voucher cap and just exactly how will that social engineering affect the recipients?

Ryan’s budget proposes to shrink the deficit in a way that not only would make the rich richer and the poor poorer but would deprive the country of the spending required to do what we need most …: nation-building at home.

The GOP and the extremist mantra is slashing the budget will bring us to a balanced budget. Yeah…and i could cut off both thumbs and lose weight. Neither will create jobs or train labor for the future jobs which will become available.

We came into our empire building on four pillars of strength. Education, infrastructure, quality government institutions and government-funded research. Since 1981 when the extremist right came into influence, we have slashed and hacked and degraded those pillars to where our standing as a Great Power is endangered.

The whacked Right’s solution? More of the same which brought us to this point.

What we do need is to rebuild those pillars of American success, by cutting, taxing and investing. Which is exactly what Obama is proposing. The one aspect of Pres. Obama’s budget proposal which falls short is detailing the restructuring of SSI and Medicare. But in an election year where any mistep is overblown into a gigantic mythic lie and falsity…such is understandable/

        Think about that.

      • Shane

FLDiane, Flashy does not know how to discuss and debate the issues. He’s one of the many that are found ton the left side of the bell curve. Flashy likes to stop up the septic drain system with his rants, and hopes that the overflow from his potty mouth gets all over us.

      • Flashy

Shane….you think i am wrong in outlining the GOP/Ryan/Romney plan? you believe i err when i state the whacke Right offer no viable, rational, raeasonable solutions? You believe i err when i say the War on the Middle Class and the historical redistribution of wealth began on Reagan’s watch? you believe I err when i state something you do not comprehend?

Bring it up. Counter it if you can. As it stands, ..well…just exactly what have you said?

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

Isn’t that the Banksters Fascist game plan. Squeeze Europe which will destroy revenues even more, then they will be forced to sell assets/privatize, which is short for getting to buy prime assets at fire sale prices, and just call it austerity. That’s the first test. It’s coming here next.

Argentina got it right, they told the banksters where to go. If we are smart we will learn from them.

      • Shane

Flashy, you’re an idiot. I don’t have to prove a negative. You made a statement out of thin air. Back it up. Then I’ll see if there’s some meat to digest and comment on.

But back to you Flashy. You’re a sick puppy. I do not detest people that differ in opinions from mine. But I do feel very sorry for you. I would hate to be in your skin. For it’s not about the issues you state, but the attitude and gile that your pour out.

    • DaveH

Actually, Flashman, it is you and your kind that Hate America. Before the Progressives came along, most people aspired to morality, instead of the Progressive aspirations of making other peoples’ choices and helping themselves to other peoples’ money.
And you are a fine example of the Immoral Progressives, Flashman. I can show the readers where you’ve lied, where you’ve slandered, where you’ve openly advocated theft, where you’ve been an apologist for violence, where you’ve plagiarized the work of others as if it were your own (as ignorant as the work was), and where you’ve assumed multiple personalities. Please ask me to prove my allegations.
You, Flashman, have no credibility on this board.

      • Flashy

Wow Dave…you make me sound as if i’m a TP supporter…..

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

        Hang in there Flashy.

You at least have compassion Dave is standing with the fascists and they know their game is up. That’s why he is so angry and frantic in his attacks.

The era of greed and competition is coming to an end. It’s now time for sharing and cooperation.

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

And what kind of morality is that Dave?

Well let’s see, exterminate the indians, slavery, keeping women down, child labor, sexual discrimination, gender discrimination, war on the poor, religious discrimination, invading other countries and killing civilians.

It seems to me that it was always the progressives who fought the conservatives no matter what time period so that the lot of mankind would be improved and you would all get to enjoy it as well.

      • DaveH

Good Eric. The more you speak, the more the readers can see that you are just a manipulative Progressive, who can’t debate with facts, so must use adolescent manipulative techniques.
What is the Hallmark of Progressives? Big Government of course. Who was instrumental in killing the Indians? Big Government of course.
And how do you Progressives eliminate Slavery, Eric, by enslaving other people like Progressives always do?
Nobody I’ve ever known has kept women down except the women themselves and Big Government by stifling Free Markets where anybody with the drive and ambition can succeed.
And child labor was disappearing naturally in this country as capitalism boosted our economy. The Unionists used child labor as a rallying cry because children don’t join Unions and are willing to work for lesser wages, so they were competition for the Unionists. The Unionists were just looking out for themselves, using the Children, like Progressives always do, to further their own selfish desires.
Discrimination? Big Government has increased that by favoring special classes of people and causing resentment among the unfavored classes.
Religious discrimination? Pardon me while I laugh at a Progressive feigning concern for Religious people.
Yep, we shouldn’t be militarily campaigning around the world. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. But without the Federal Reserve, and the Income Tax, the Government would not have been able to afford all that meddling. Guess who promoted the Federal Reserve and the Income Tax laws? Yep, Progressives.
For those who are nauseous from Eric’s conjecture and would like some reality:

      • DaveH

It is comical to me that Eric would feign concern for child labor, while at the same time the Progressives that he champions are creating a gargantuan debt load for the children and they didn’t even get a vote in the matter.

  • Pal

You’re an anti-government and anti-progress, beclouded with personal goals and interest! Using your platform to propagate your agenda….pls think about the citizens FIRST!

    • Nadzieja Batki

      Your collective citizens?
You are not partial to people as Individuals?

    • DaveH

Which citizens, Pal? Surely you don’t mean those whose hard-earned money you are stealing for your own pet goals?

  • bigjeff1

Watching the video and reading these comments is like sliding into The Twilight Zone! Seriously, you all need to get out more.

    • Shane

You’re so right. I come here for the jokes mainly. Other’s live here.

    • DaveH

Some people come here for an education, Jeff. You should try that.

      • Eric Bischoff (@ericbischoff)

I come here to sharpen my debate skills. Thanks Dave for being a good sparring partner.

      • JeffH

Eric the Red, all you’ve succeeded in doing is sharpening the point of your head.

      • Shane

You call this a debating site. hehe! That was funny. It’s more of debasing site.

I’ll agree a few jewels of debate do occur on occasion. But what an effort to slough through the sewage for those rare tipbits of reason.

      • DaveH

What skills, Eric? You mean fabricating facts, condescending, and name-calling skills?
I wouldn’t call what I do with you a “debate”. It’s more like a humiliation. But then, you would have to have a minimal set of cognitive skills to realize how badly you’ve been beaten.

    • Nadzieja Batki

So who made you watch the video and read the posts?

  • http://liberty Tony

    To Everyone:
Despite it all, i hate to have to rain on your parade but; however, you put it, Obama will be re-elected, That’s because of his competition or should i say lack of. Thanks!!

    • Nobody’s Fool

obuma will most likely be the Imposter-in-Chief another four years (at least) based on voter fraud, not election. It’s how he got in the first time. His minions and thugs are working hard on putting the fix in as we go about our buisness, thinking we still live in a country of freedom.

      • http://liberty Tony

        To Nobody’s Fool:
Obama won’t have to resort to fraud when dealing with the robotic clown that’s going to be his competition. Trust me sir, it will be quite easy for the incumbent’s re-election. Sorry for the sad news!!

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Don’t think that it will make any difference who wins and who loses. The collectivists have infiltrated both parties. Their agenda will go forward no matter who wins. Voter fraud truly exists, but it is against anyone who is not with them on their agenda. Why do you think that no matter who is in government we continue along the same path of destruction? Every time the government switches control from one party to another, we expect to see change. But that does not happen. We continue to lose our rights and move towards a “collectivist” or “communist” or “socialist” government whether we want it or not! Wake up people! It isn’t about party affiliation! We need constitutionalists in government or we all lose. The United States of America will cease to exist!

      • http://liberty Tony

        To Nancy:
I agree that our nation is losing it’s constitutional liberties and we have to fight to maintain the constitution in tact. However, all i’m saying given what the Incumbent’s competition is plus the facade that things are getting better, Obama is going to be re-elected big time. Even the bookies in Las Vegas have already made bets that the incumbent gets re-elected by 5-8 points. This is the earliest in the history of Presidential elections this took place. Thus, what does that tell you!?! Thanks and have a good day.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Tony, it makes no difference whose face is in the whitehouse. Even if it were romney you could still consider it a reelection. The same people have control. They operate the same agenda. They are two parts of the same whole. They want you to look at one candidate or the other. It distracts you from seeing that they are the same. The strings are still being pulled by the same people! Anyone who comes against them will be made to look like a fool, just like they did with Ron Paul. We should all vote for whoever “looks like” a fool or loser. That way, you will know that you are voting against those who are trying to enslave us. Anyone who is not part of their agenda will be crucified by the media and made to look very bad. They OWN the media. The face in the whitehouse is just a figurehead. They are not the ones making the decisions and calling the shots. They only need someone that they control.

  • branded969

It will be very hard to be president when Bama will soon be headed to Leavenworth, Kansas, for the rest of his worthless life, making little rocks out of big ones! This IMPOSTER needs to pay for the crimes that he has committed against the Citizens of America and other countries! As should ALL who were involved in the cover-up, in getting a Kenyan elected to government, there will be a lot of crooks in Kansas, they will have to add some cells! Semper Fi.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

He will never pay for his crimes! They won’t even be acknowledged. In fact, since “they” write the history books, he will go down in history as a hero for bringing about communism!

  • Mac

Very Important Point —- The President is a White House PUPPPET who follows the orders of the BANKERS. The Bilderbergs (TriLateral Commission) are the people pulling the strings. They stay in the Shadows controlling all of us everyday. Censoring ALMOST all that we see and hear keeps us fighting and arguing while ‘They’ Slowly get what they want. These Trillionaires control every aspect of our lives and pursosely remain invisible. Most are clueless of their power and control and their placement of the Next President will surely be to their advantage!

    • Nancy in Nebraska

Mac, I agree with everything you said except one word; “ALMOST”. They don’t censor almost everything. When it comes to main stream media they censor everything! I guess you could be right in that they haven’t managed to censor the Internet yet but they are taking another run at it. I think it’s time is short. They will not give up.

    • DaveH

I sure do get sick of people calling the Politicians puppets. If they were indeed, then why would they fight so hard to stay in office? Indeed, the Crony Capitalists are complicit, but the Leaders are the ones with the Power. We could end that at any time if the American Citizens would wake up to what is really going on with Big Government. But that takes work.
For those who want to make the effort towards Individual Freedom, Personal Responsibility, Limited Governments, Free Markets, and the PEACE that comes naturally with them:

  • Kerry

You know this is crazy, every chance you all get you blame President Obama for everything, but you forget about Bush’s days that put us in this mess that President Obama has been trying to pull America out of the last 8 years of the Bush’s stupidity. If you don’t like the man all well and good, but don’t slam him for the things he is not responsible for and didn’t have anything to do with. President Obama must be one of the cleanest politicians out there because if he wasn’t much as you all dislike him there would have been every bit of dirt you could have found on him other than a birth certificate that made no sense. Oh yeah he will be President for another 4 years like it or not. Thank you

    • jorind

My goodness Kerry, do you actually believe that tripe you post?

    • Dan

Yes, (Kerry) is completely self absorbed with his notions of intelligence. Only by ignoring Obama’s senate spending history can he condemn Bush.

      • Dan

Kerry actually LIKES living under the apron of government; he prefers a small group of elitists making decisions for him.

WAIT until he learns how ineffective the means of distribution and how heavy-handed the regulatory arm feels upon his own back.

If the govt created a “Department of Sand Management”, in just 6 years, there would be a shortage of SAND.

    • SunnieD

You know, willfull disillusionment may not be criminal; but it certainly is good enough to ‘stir up the pot.’ Go back and check the facts. He was battleing a DEMOCRATIC congress for most of his term. THEY were the ones that pushed this country in the direction most of you blame him for; and our now fearless leader has taken that lead and run with it to the extremes we are now experiencing.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

As long as people allow themselves to be fooled into thinking that the blame lies either with the republicans OR the democrats we will ALL lose. This back and forth is exactly what they want! It distracts people from the reality that is going on behind the scenes. Time to wake up! BOTH sides have equal blame! BOTH sides have the same agenda! Unless you back up and look at the whole picture you will never see what they are doing to us!

  • Tag

I guess he has the ego to go for the office for a second term and if he should by some disaster win again he will be the most hated and disrespected prez this country has ever known – even Hitler will be more well thought of, however, you reap what you have sown..What a joke this clown is – ho hum, and b o r i n g!!!! He can take his off spring and his toothy wife and go back to Kenya where they belong chasing others through the jungle! All those who will volunteer to help them pack, please raise your hands? WOW, almost everyone except those that vote color and are ignorant!

  • catfish

JFK and LBJ started the downfall of america with socialism. They were more interested in keeping the democrats in power than the welfare and strength of america. Teddy was some kind of god through the years and had a heavy influence and it was his selection of Ohomo for president. The Kennedy’s were the lowest of the low and the tax payers are finally waking up. The democrat party is not the party today that it was prior to 1964. Folks redistribution of income started with affirmative action and Ohomo is the ultimate socialist. The GOP must continue to block everything this idiot does until we get rid of him. It makes me proud when he says the GOP is not falling in line with his agenda.

Bet Wayne Allan Root (a.k.a. – “W.A.R.”) is going to take his social security check when he reaches the eligible age … he’ll be helped by a program that gives out more than people put in to it …. WELCOME TO SOCIALISM.

If Wayne has children, and they were educated in a public school – a system where ALL TAX PAYERS PAY EVEN IF THEY DON’T HAVE CHILDREN … WELCOME TO SOCIALISM.

To all out there who were able to afford college by taking advantage of the G.I. BILL …. WECOME TO SOCIALISM.

Lastly, I don’t have a problem with the aforementioned “socialistic” programs helping people try to get ahead in life and better their lives … CAPITALISM WITH SOME SOCIAL SAFETY NETS IS A GOOD THING. People, community; chipping in and working together, is not a bad thing.
For all the people in the audience whose children were educated in the public school system; funded even by those tax payers who NEVER had children … HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR SOCIALISM?
For these same people whose children were educated on the tax dollars of others, how can you have a problem with affordable (not free) health care for EVERYONE???

Well then, write Uncle Sam to tell him you won’t be needing Social Security ( it pays you more than you put in), if and when the time comes.

    • Patriot

Mirage, do you even know why SS was set up? It was our insurance policy that the government was going save and set aside our money for us when we retire,to protect us. My plan is that I will not have any of that money, so many of us made other plans, now with the government printing all the money to save themselves from civil unrest or after this election, we are seeing our investments for our retirements being stolen by inflation. Are you starting to get it now? Our polticians always set up programs that seemly help the people when in fact they are stealing this money to fund their own Agenda. BTW that SS money is gone, what do you think is happening to our teachers and other public service employees, they are finding out that there is not enough money in their pension funds either. Can you now feel the cards starting to fall? These protests here and abroard are all about people trying to save their families due to the destructive policies of our leaders. We need to change course fast!

Now they want healthcare, nobody in their right minds should even consider this, it is all about stealing more money from all Americans to consolidate power to a few. When the government can control what we eat, drink, our water and now heathcare there will be nothing we can do. Wake Up America!

    • DaveH

This one sentence, Mirage, tells the readers that you have nothing to offer — “he’ll be helped by a program that gives out more than people put in to it”.
Sure. The truth is that people would have accumulated 2 to 3 times the nominal amount that Social Security took from them by simply putting their money into safe Certificate of Deposits. And that doesn’t even count the fact that inflation has ravaged the value of the American dollar since those funds were originally confiscated by Government.
For instance, using the Government’s own slanted (in their favor) inflation calculator, the $1000 that they took on my behalf in my first year of full-time work would have been worth $4000 in today’s buying power:

    • DaveH

And this tidbit of misinformation from Mirage — “Disagree?
Well then, write Uncle Sam to tell him you won’t be needing Social Security”.
Why in the world would anybody expect not to get back at least the promised amount from the money that Government forcibly took from them?
Isn’t that like a Progressive. They forcibly take your money. Then if you state an objection, they attempt to make you look morally deficient because you want to get some of your money back.
This is how it is, Folks. Once you allow yourself to get trapped in the Progressive web, they will use whatever underhanded tactics it takes to keep you there.

    • eggy

Your certainly have the proper handle “mirage’ . The only folks who ever get more than they put in to S.S. are those who never woked for a lifetime and paid taxes for all of those working years (approximately 40 – if you started working at age 26 ). If you consider that you had simply saved a like sum of the money both you & your employer paid in S.S. taxes, and invested that in low interest tax free bonds (a safe investment for the long term) , and compunded that interest, and also take into account the rate of inflation (or government debasement of currency- whatever you chose to call it) over all of those years YOU WILL NEVER COME CLOSE TO COLLECTING WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE ACCUMLATED ON YOUR OWN if you live to be 100 or more (because you would NEVER have to touch the principle amount you had accumulated by the time you reached retirement age. You would simply have continuous payments (higher that what S.S. would give you per month) of interest from those bonds and wouldn’t have to pay taxes on a penny if you calculated the outflow correctly. (You now have to pay taxes on a portion of the S.S. you collect) The only people who collect more than they put in are those who worked the minimum number of years (10) required to collect a miminum amount.
As for public education, it was around long before socialism ever existed in this country. It was commuity based, and teachers were paid in goods, housing etc. for their services, and , oh my goodness, the high school graduates of today’s system would never be able to pass the tests required for graduation from these schools of the late 1800s & early 1900s. They contained too much PRACTICAL knowledge that people used every day back then instead of the “theories” and the brainwashing that go on today.
Federal Government controlled SOCIALISM is not the same thing as a locally organised social network or even a local government body that accomplishes tasks that a society needs fufilled for a most of it’s citizens at that particular location. You are mixing apples with oranges with your broad definitions. By your definitions public water & sewage systems, transportation systems, post offices, highways, etc. etc. – ANY service local governments traditionally supplied would be socialism – and that IS NOT the case. Federal government controlled Socialism is when the goveerment forceably invades aspects of ones life that can be done by the individuals themselves without the need of a central government to take money from then and then turn around and give it back to them (or someone else if they chose to) in the form of a service or payment of some sort. Socialism at that level encourages a portion of the public to become “freeloaders” on the backs of the working portion of the population. It continues to elevate – generation after generation – addition program after aditional program until the working portion of the population no longer exceeds the combination of the freeloaders and government workers required to adminsister it. At that point the wealth it confiscates from the workers can no longer support the programs and the government eventually goes bankrupt.
No where in our founding documents was the central Federal government given the power to engage in Socialistic behavior. It was simply given power to “govern” – protect individual’s freedoms & property from foreign & domestic infringements. State & local governments WERE given that right, if the citizens of those states and locallities chose to do so at their own valition. There is a BIG difference from Federally Controlled Socialism and simple local social services that local governments are expected to provide, and our nations founders clearly defined central Federal government to be extremely limited in our Constitution. If YOU in particular, and others like you WANT that type of government, I suggest you move to a country that already has it , instead of try to pervert & change this country from what our founders intended.

Did Teddy ever has a real job working in the private sector? Has Obama? Just wondering, it seems like these people and their ilk are very good at spending others money like Daddy’s and ours. Here is my stimulus package reduce the government by 50% across the board today!

  • Chris Condon

Ted Kennedy may have saved America from Obama and the socialist agenda, but did he save himself? When Ted Kennedy died, it was not the end of his existence, but simply his passage into another world. Where did he go after he died?

    • Patriot

      Hopefully, to Hell!

      • Neil Swan

You are proving people who call themselves Patriots are a hate group like Southern Poverty Law Center says.

    • Rebecca

Well Chris….my father was 93 when Ted died. Daddy was quite outspoken and he said “Ted’s in hell now for running that girl off in the creek”.

      • JeffH

Rebecca, truth be known, Teddy probably wasn’t the one responsible for Mary Jo Kopechne’s death at Chappaquiddick.

With the assassinations of Teddy’s brothers, JFK and RFK, the idea that Kennedy was set up and framed by political enemies(PTB) still remains.

Either way, Teddy was a Big Government liberal. He championed an interventionist government emphasizing economic and social justice and universal health care.

      • Rebecca

Jeff, Come on…the facts are the facts and those were ADMITTED by Ted Kennedy. He was driving this girl home from a party. He was drunk and ran off the boat ramp into the bay. He got out and WENT HOME and left her in the car. He said he dove back in several times trying to save her but finally gave up and went home, went to bed and never even called authorities until the next day! At the very least this was negligent homicide. He was who he was and he felt that his life was more important than hers.

Whether all the scuttlebutt about her being his mistress and being pregnant is true or not may never be known. But what is known is what he admitted to and it’s as simple as that. I don’t believe for a minute there was any kind of set up by anyone else. A drunk married man left a party with a young woman and ran his car off in the bay. He got out and she didn’t.

      • JeffH

Rebecca, you’re 100% sure about your facts? Just askin’ cause I’m not.

      • Rebecca

Pretty darn sure. There was a documentary on A&E some years ago when Ted was being interviewed about the incident. That is exactly what he said …..that he had been drinking, left the party and gave Mary Jo a ride home, ran off the boat ramp thinking that he was turning onto an actual road, went into the water then tried to save Mary Jo but couldn’t so he went home and rested then called authorities the next morning.

This is basically what he said to reporters from the Boston Sunday Globe, July 20, 1969. Goggle it.

Rebecca, you can believe what you’ve read re: T Kennedy. No Problem with that, I don’t for the reasons I’ve stated above.

Obama’s “birther” attorney has now come out and stated that the Obama Certificate of Live Birth posted on the White House web site was a fake.

Ted Kennedy’s death was the second time he saved this country. The infamous Chappaquiddick incident in 1969 saved us from his almost certain Presidency.

    • 45caliber

I saw a newspaper article about a week after the Chappaquiddick incident that has always made my curious. It was an interview with the sheriff of that county. It seems the sheriff had eye witnesses who saw Ted go by in his car just minutes before they ran off into the bay and the girl drowned. He was in the back seat with her … and two other men were in the front. Further, a couple of her girlfriends stated that a week before she died she had told them she was going to be the new Mrs. Ted Kennedy. She was pregnant by him and told him that if he didn’t divorce his wife and marry her she was going public to ruin his chances of reelection. He told her to give him two weeks. A week later she was dead. The sherrif had tried to have an autopsy done to see if she was pregnant but her family had been paid half a million to not do it. That was the only thing I ever saw on that. I never found out what the sheriff found or did.

    • 45caliber

I believe you are right about ruining his chances as President. There is no statute of limitations for murder – and I believe Mary Jo was deliberately murdered with Ted set up for it. If he had run for President, someone would have rechecked that story. And with a close look, there was a good chance he’d have gone to prison.

  • kat

Well well all interesting. Be thankful that Obama has not yet made this country completely socialistic yet! None of this discussion would exsist.

the kennedy’s are standing in line to get back into the power structure, so i guess government employment is pretty powerful. with the exception of john kennedy they have a bad record, from rape to murder. they seem to get away with anything and foolish voters admire them. it kind of reminds you of barry.
wonder if hillary is related to the kennedys, the vince foster murder is something like they would be connected with.maybe hillary got advice from ted, how to cover it up.

    • 45caliber

The Foster murder wasn’t the only one. There were at least THREE more identical murders in AR at the same time all related (like Foster’s was) to the Whitewater fiasco. Oh, I forgot. All were called suicides, even though all were shot through the head in their car and no bullet was found. In fact, there are over fifty murders (ah … deaths, I mean) related to the Clinton’s. There were 27 of the Secret Service people who died in Clinton’s first year of office, the highest death rate there in history.

      • DaveH

And three of Clinton’s former bodyguards died in the first unnecessary assault on the Davidian compound in Waco. I think at the hands of their own fellow officers, but it’s doubtful we’ll ever know the truth on that.

      • 45caliber

You are right. I saw the news video (uncut) on that. It was interesting. It showed the men climbing a ladder, crossing a roof, looking in a window, and then climbing in. That’s where the public video stopped. The uncut version shows another man who came up behind them, ran to the window, looked in, threw in a grenade, emptied a magazine, and then climbed back down the ladder.

Also, a local man who was one of the BATF at the scene (who quit immediately afterwards) said that ALL dead and wounded were due to the BATF. He didn’t see or hear any of the Davidians firing a shot.

Barack Obama’s Lawyer Admits Birth Certificate Is Forged.

Obama’s attorney Alexandra Hill, of the Newark-based law firm Genova, Burn and Giantomasi, admitted that the image of Obama’s birth certificate was a forgery and made the absurd claim that, therefore, it cannot be used as evidence to confirm his lack of natural born citizenship status. She concluded her analysis of the online birth certificate arguing that it is “irrelevant to his placement on the ballot”.

She then went on to try and establish his eligibility by speaking of his political popularity, not legal qualification, in order to be a candidate!

Penbrook Johannson, editor for The Daily Pen said, “ But evidence of forgery by as yet unidentified counterfeiters working on behalf of Obama is not what legally excludes Obama from appearing on a ballot, by itself, until some authority is willing to consider this as evidence of forgery on its merit as an indication of actual ineligibility in a court of legal authority. Until some court of competent jurisdiction is willing to hear evidence of forgery and fraud, you can’t legally punish a political candidate for that crime which has not been proven that they committed. However, since Obama is not eligible because of a lack of authenticated evidence to the contrary, he could be held off the ballot for that reason.”

    • Steve

We must not forget that the congress and Senate make the laws. BO must go for sure, he is a fraud, and anyone who voted for OBAMACARE or supported him on any bill should also be gone. This treason is more than just one Kenyon deep and it is high time to get rid of the entrenched Senators like TED was. as always jopa, you twist the figures to your desire. the bolsheviks took charge of the congress and senate in 2007. if you go back and look at the charts that’s when the dow started down. the dow was 8000. when barry took charge and the only way the bols can get the dow to move is from government manipulation, such as falsifying the jobs and un-employment records. barry has done nothing to improve the economy, how about gas prices. how about food prices, how about the housing market, barry hasn’t done anything, except fly around the country on air force one making a speech every two hours, isn’t that the way communist countries control the population, propaganda and lots of it.
you bolsheviks say he got bin laden, it took him eighteen hours to make a decision to eliminate a fellow muslim, the number one guy on the list and odds are he told the seals not to kill him, we will never know and further more he didn’t catch b laden, the military did and the only reason they caught up with him was from interrogation methods used during the bush administation.
your hero has done nothing except live a lavish lifestyle and taking vacations with moochella and destroy as much of our vital interests in this country, such as nasa. his green energy policies are a complete failure, gm, a failure, they still haven’t paid back the money he gave them. so tell me where he has succeeded, that is if you can forget blaming bush.

The European disarmament movement, as we suspected back then, was funded by the USSR, other world communist and socialist organizations and many well-meaning, but duped “Liberal” citizens in the USA.

Ted Kennedy and his Liberal Brethren were engaged in the larger, anti-American, Soviet-orchestrated world disarmament and peace movement. They viewed our support of NATO in facing down a menacing Soviet build-up Eastern Europe as a provocative move. To be generous toward their motives, I will only say that history has shown that they were fools at best. Reagan correctly saw the Soviets as a hollow system on the verge of collapse.

This authenticated letter [link], -uncovered when the KGB files were opened after the fall of the Soviet Union expose Kennedy’s duplicity in dealing with the Soviets behind the scenes and without permission of the USG. The POTUS alone is charged with negotiating with foreign nations per the USC.

This letter was first uncovered by the London times. The blog entry is from 2006.

So when the Left and the Left Media idolize this man, let us remember this narcissistic deed as well as his savage treatment of Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork, Mary Jo Kopechne, and the millions of aborted babies who died during this man’s 36 year legacy of supporting abortion.

BTW: These same KGB files showed that the Liberal-darling liar and spy Alger Hiss was among many others, including a US Congressman, who were, indeed, communists working for the USSR.

So read the posting and pay attention to the way things work in the espionage business, then and now. Pay attention to the lessons of history and beware those who still wish to ignore the facts. Things are not always what they seem, and people are not always who/what they profess to be.

    Written by an Australian Dentist

    To Kill an American
You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is. So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

‘An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian or Arab or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.
The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must.
Hitler did. So did General Tojo and Stalin and Mao Tse-Tung and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.’

    Please keep this going!
Pass this around the World .
Then pass it around again. It says it all, for all of us.
    Please do not just delete.

    Pass it on .

  • Jay

For years, liberals have imposed their revisionist history on our nation’s public school students, expunging important facts and historic figures while loading the textbooks with liberal propaganda, distortions and cliches. It’s easy to get a quick lesson in the virulent leftwing bias by checking the index and noting how textbooks treat President Ronald Reagan and Senator Joseph McCarthy.

When parents object to leftwing inclusions and omissions, claiming they should have something to say about what their own children are being taught and how their taxpayers’ money is spent, they are usually vilified as “book burners” and belittled as uneducated primitives who should allow the “experts” to decide. The self-identified “experts” are alumni of liberal teachers colleges and/or members of a leftwing teachers union.

In most states, the liberal education establishment enjoys total control over the state’s board of education, department of education, and curriculum committees.

Texas is different; the Texas State Board of Education is elected, and the people (even including parents!) have a voice.

Texas is uniquely important in textbook content because the state of Texas is the largest single purchaser of textbooks. Publishers can hardly afford to print different versions for other states, so Texas curriculum standards have nationwide influence.

The review of social studies curriculum (covering U.S. Government, American History, World History and Economics) comes up every ten years, and 2010 is one of those years. The unelected education “experts” proposed their history revisions such as eliminating Independence Day, Christopher Columbus, Thomas Edison, Daniel Boone and Neil Armstrong, and replacing Christmas with Diwali.

After a public outcry, the SBOE responded with common-sense improvements. Thomas Edison, the world’s greatest inventor, will be again included in the narrative of American History.

Schoolchildren will no longer be misled into believing that capitalism and the free market are dirty words and that America has an unjust economic system. Instead, they will learn how the free-enterprise system gave our nation and the world so much that is good for so many people.

Liberals don’t like the concept of American Exceptionalism. The liberals want to teach what’s wrong with America (masquerading under the code word “social justice”) instead of what’s right and successful. The SBOE voted to include describing how American Exceptionalism is based on values that are unique and different from those of other nations.

The SBOE specified that teaching about the Bill of Rights should include a reference to the right to keep and bear arms. Some school curricula pretend the Second Amendment doesn’t exist.

Texas curriculum standards will henceforth accurately describe the U.S. government as a “constitutional republic” rather than as a democracy. The secularists tried to remove reference to the religious basis for the founding of America, but that was voted down.

The Texas Board rejected the anti-Christian crowd’s proposal to eliminate the use of B.C. and A.D. for historic dates, as in Before Christ and Anno Domini, and replace them with B.C.E., as in Before the Common Era, and C.E.

The deceptive claim that the United States was founded on a “separation of church and state” gets the ax, and rightfully so. In fact, most of the original thirteen colonies were founded as Christian communities with much overlap between church and state.

History textbooks that deal with Joseph McCarthy will now be required to explain “how the later release of the Venona papers confirmed suspicions of Communist infiltration in U.S. government.” The Venona papers are authentic transcripts of some 3,000 messages between the Soviet Union and its secret agents in the United States.

Discussions of economics will not be limited to the theories of Karl Marx, John Maynard Keynes, and Adam Smith. Textbooks must also include Milton Friedman and Friedrich von Hayek, two champions of free-market theory.

History textbooks will now be required to cover the “unintended consequences” of Great Society legislation, affirmative action, and Title IX legislation. Textbooks should also include “the conservative resurgence of the 1980s and 1990s.”

Texas textbooks will now have to mention “the importance of personal responsibility for life choices” instead of blaming society for everything and expecting government to provide remedies for all social ills.

It’s no secret that the people who control public schools are at war with our nation’s history, culture and achievements. Since taxpayers foot the bill, it is long overdue for a state board of education to correct many textbooks myths and lies about our magnificent national heritage and achievements.

Wayne Allyn Root: We are not dead, yet. But your prehistoric way of giving to the rich and taking from everybody else, it’s time has come. We will surprise and you will be a casualty of your greed.

I fail to see how America could profit from a man’s death. Especially since Ted Kennedy was a human being capable of his own thoughts and beliefs. Just because he was a democrat dose not mean he would vote for Obama.

I think we as Americans ought to get our heads out of our asses and take our Country back!! It is so sad that we as a nation have allowed the government to get in the shape it is. I say send every Illegal back to where they came from!!! then our government would not have to support them. Get rid of Obama and all the homesteaders in Congress and the Senate and Make a brand new America with people who care about this nation. The sad thing is, we are the governments puppets, we do as we are told, it appears that we haven’t got it in our asses to stand up to the government, a few handful of people can’t do anything, but we as a nation if we could all stick together, maybe something could be done, you all talk about the unions, Reagan busted the unions, he said he would, and he did! they don’t mean squat for the american people anymore, it only works for the click they have in government. I can’t believe we have come to this! We are like Ostriches with our head in the sand. Wake up America, its time to take our government back!! Or is all hope for a democracy LOST???? just sayin

By the way, when is the anniversary of Teddy’s death? just wanted to know so I could go outside and celebrate, drinking a couple of Samuel Adams beers while I’m firing my semi-auto .223 in the air and singing to the song “Ding dong the witch is dead”.
