A terrible disgrace. Officers of the law stand as a symbol of the power of Justice and Law to triumph over instinct. To let out personally emotions on a suspect is unprofessional and unbecoming for such officers. Also as the man in the video is on the ground in a position expressing surrender and helplessness it also demonstrates cowardice on the part of the officers who seem to feel compelled to take out their emotions on someone who cannot or is not in a position to fight back.

  • Michael J.

Obviously, this type behaviour can not be tolerated from officers of the law. It blurrs the line between perpetrators of crime and officers of the law and is infinetely damaging with respect to public relations. How many bad guys will peacefully surrender knowing that this is the treatment they will receive?

On the other hand, each officer carries with him or her the memory of fallen fellow officers who lost their life answering a call such as the one in the video or other similar situations. How many funerals does a cop have to attend to push him or her past the breaking point?

As the economy worsens, cops are subject to an ever increasing crescendo of violent desperate criminals. Click on the link to observe a list of Texas Police Officers who have already paid the ultimate price.

Whether these criminal thugs were remembering fallen colleagues or not is absolutely no excuse for this way-over-the-top abuse of a suspect who was CLEARLY in the surrender position. There is absolutely NO defense of this and these criminals do not belong on any police force.

Send THUG cops to jail. When we were kids, the police were our friends. Now I steer clear as far as possible. We have evidenced another reason why. DO NOT TRUST COPS, THEY ARE THUGS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • eddie47d

Here you have an easy arrest yet these officers choose to be thugs. How would they have handled a situation like this if an officers had been injured or killed? In this case a swift firing would have been to good for them. How about six months in jail and 2 years probation at minimum?

  • Dan G.

I am surprised at the surprise of everyone…is everyone living in a bubble here? This type of abuse goes on everyday, day in and day out. Fact is that many people are beaten by police and some even to death. Fact is that police rape, rob and murder all over this nation, including the FBI. They are no longer law enforcement officers but a gang of overly paid political thugs. No where in the founding of our Republican government will you find authority for this type of police existence. What needs to change is that the Sheriffs of every county must become conscious of their duty to protect the Citizens and not the government. Government must also be cut down to proper size and the money withheld from them. Our founding fathers would not believe how complacent we have become by allowing our servants to become our masters! This will continue until we are once again willing to live free or die!

Let me take a wild guess. The vast majority of people in law enforcement are union members. Ergo, if there’s ever a bad apple in the bunch, then we might as well assume that the SOB has more rights the public.
In other words, we work for people who are SWORN to protect us. Hmmmm. Is this the true value of the union mentality? WE pay so WE can work fo THEM?
Why work when people work for you? Get paid several times what you’re worth, and your sorry ass can’t be fired.
Can you say Bolshevik bastards? I can.

      Right On!

There is no good reason for the four police officers to beat or kick a person that is down on the ground and not fighting them! They should have been arrested for assault as soon as the tape was seen by city officials!!
By now the feds should have taken action, since the city will not.

These officers should be required to read retired sheriff Richard Mack’s book. County Sheriff: America’s last hope. Our local group here in our county bought 20 copies and circulated them in the sheriff’s dept., then we took them to our local city police dept’s as well. This book should be mandatory reading at all law enforcement levels. I personally recommend it for all people to help them understand how things have got totally out of control.

We can clearly see in this video why police do NOT want the public to be able to record their behavior.

Houston Police Exposed – May they get punished, and may the ‘boy’ got kicked HARD enough… to keep him from robbing someone again. Or, eventually he may even get plugged in the process by the victim. End of stories like this one.

Did you lames notice how well trained the scum thief ‘boy’ is? He’s almost crunched by the car, and still manages to quickly position himself in a ‘defenseless’ pose, hands behind knucklehead for immunity for his crime?

Every kick he got as an adult thief should have been a bark, a slap, or a spanking while the creep was young enough, to LEARN, if you do it, you pay for it. Some hoodlums just don’t understand ‘words’.

Instead, they grow up like wild animals with the full consent of lenient, ignorant, drugged, or alcoholic parents. Despondent, irresponsible, ‘minority’ protected by the SPLC and the ACLU cretins from ‘abusive whites’ and ‘rich people’.

Caning is a widely used form of legal corporal punishment in Singapore, and the felon won’t do it twice. Now, as far as arrogant, abusive cops may be around also, they should also be subject to the same remedy.

THUG COPS AND O’BAMEE SHOULD BE IN JAIL and SEIU, BJ Clinton and his lewinsky lite wife and michelle and the dog and Goerge W and George Soros and krissy matthews and she-man rachel and on and onb

  • Bob

This definitely looks indefensible, but did anyone notice that the suspect after being hit in the legs by a car and flipped to the ground and enduring repeated head stomps, kidney punches, groin kicks, etc. ad nauseum, was helped up and strolled to the patrol car without a hint of a limp or discomfort? If I had been through what the video looked like I don’t think I would have been concious much less able to walk. Can anyone say “staged” for some crazy reason?

  • James

Debalazo, once the law becomes the lawless you have anarchy. The video is not a picture of police making an arrest, it is a gang of thugs beating up a person.

Tell me why they don’t want this released to the public again?… just because they’re cops???

If it was just regular Americans, then they have no problem putting it on national TV for all to see… for years to come… call it “Americas most wanted”, “Cops“, or any of those high speed chase shows.

We know why they don’t want this crap shown.

Funny how nothing was said about the f—ing cop running his 4000lb car into the kid…
Remember, he has not been convicted of anything at this point, so running him over, or pinning his legs to the chain link fence and possibly breaking them is way over the top
Why not just shoot him in the leg?, both endanger the kids life, what’s the difference?

The thing to remember here is the kid was running away,
Running into him with a police car is the same as shooting him in the back as far as I’m concerned.

I believe that anytime someone is committing a felony and putting the lives of others in danger deserves a good ass whippin’. In many cases the criminals actually have more rights than the innocent.

However, WE THE PEOPLE must live by a code of conduct regardless of who we are or what we do. Period! Otherwise, everyone sets their own rules and before you know it, the rights of WE THE PEOPLE would soon vanish.

To have not just one police officer committing such a crime but acting as a group tells all of us that the problems in the Houston Police Department goes all the way up to the top. It is the responsibility of the officials, leaders and teachers in our police forces to prevent this from happening. Even once is intolerable.

As leaders, police officials know that this subject is always present in the minds of the officer and can be like a powder keg ready to ignite. It is the duty of these officials to see that considerable attention is given on an on-going basis to prevent this type of cop crime and that this mindset is always kept in the highest priority when hiring, training, and frequent evaluations.

In most police stations there are an abundance of paper shufflers but few leaders and way too much politics.

I further believe that every officer that works the streets should have an annual Psychological evaluation by a non-biased third party doctor in larger populated areas where the workload can be overwhelming at times.
