#Hillary2016 Trending On Twitter

WASHINGTON, (UPI) — The dust hardly settled from Election Day before “Hillary2016″ began trending on Twitter.

“Now we just need a WOMAN president. I hope you’re listening Hillary Rodham Clinton!!! #Hillary2016,” one of the many posts read.

#Hillary2016 was trending across the Twitterverse early Wednesday soon after Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney delivered his concession speech, The Hill reported Wednesday.

Clinton, the current secretary of state, has been regularly asked whether she’d consider another run at the White House and she has always said she wants to leave politics. The former first lady and ex-U.S. senator from New York also doesn’t plan to stay on as secretary of state during President Obama’s second term.

“I have been on this high wire of national and international politics and leadership for 20 years,” she told Marie Claire last month. “It has been an absolutely extraordinary personal honor and experience. But I really want to just have my own time back. I want to just be my own person. I’m looking forward to that.”

Clinton unsuccessfully ran against Obama for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.

One of the most re-tweeted posts came from Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton:

“Before a winner is declared, I just need to say… #Hillary2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

A tally indicated his post was retweeted at least 3,135 times.

It really doesn’t matter who the Democrats run in 2016. If the Republicans do not get their heads our of their anal passages and field a candidate that conservatives like, they won’t even be able to beat someone’s pet rock in 2016. The parties pick the candidates, not the voters. The parties anoint someone and the party sheep obey their masters. “Yes, please, tell us who to support. We’re too stupid to decide for ourselves.” Four years ago, Romney was actually the favorite for the GOP but the party wanted McCain and the party sheep quickly obeyed threw their support to him and he lost. This time they wanted Romney, though I believe Gingrich was the favorite, and gues?, He lost? Four years ago, Clinton was the favorite among Democrats . But, the party wanted Obama and, again, the party sheep obeyed. I’m no sheep. I’m an independent. I won’t support someone just because some political party tells me to. I will vote my conscience and vote for someone whom I believe in, even if they don’t have a chance to win. As far as the GOP goes, I’ve come to the conclusion they do not really want to win back the White House. I hate both parties and will have nothing to do with either.
