Hillary For President 2016

January 13, 2012 by

The Hillary Clinton bandwagon. The New York Times seems determined to get Hillary Clinton back in the White House. The latest foray was a column by Bill Keller, The Times’ executive editor from 2003 until last September. In “Just the Ticket,” Keller says to forget about persuading Barack Obama to step aside; that won’t happen. Instead, he wants to move Joe Biden over to the State Department and make Hillary the Vice Presidential nominee. Keller says his proposal would do “more to guarantee Obama’s re-election than anything else the Democrats can do.”  Plus, “it makes Hillary the party’s heir apparent in 2016.” Oh, goodie.

How many dollars are at risk in Europe? Robert Lenzner, the national editor at Forbes and a former investment banker, says that European banks hold as much as $10 trillion in U.S. debt. The number includes money-market deposits from U.S. financial institutions, mortgage securities on U.S. properties and direct loans to U.S. businesses. “We are bloody well in this together,” Lenzner warns, with “our crummy banks holding tons of lousy mortgage loans — and Europe’s banks holding tons of lousy loans.” How much further will they be able to kick this can down the road?

“It’s the economy, stupid!” It isn’t the President’s fault that Federal spending has soared or deficits have skyrocketed, according to one Obama apologist. Austan Goolsbee, the former chairman of Obama’s Council on Economic Advisers (now a college professor), says the culprit isn’t government policy, but rather the economic downturn. With more people out of work, tax receipts have dropped, while spending on things like food stamps and unemployment insurance has gone up. Reducing Federal spending, he insists, will just make matters worse.

More Americans flee California and New York. Census Bureau data reveal that in 2010-2011, more and more Americans moved from high tax jurisdictions to low tax ones. The most popular move was from California, the State with the highest combined State and local tax rates in the Nation, to Texas, which has no State income tax. The second most common relocation was from New York (another high tax State) to Florida (which also has no State income tax).

The country has had enough of hillary clinton too. She was another one that wanted to change health care. No clinton

    • http://www.lp.org Jerome Bigge

Is our presently unaffordable system better? Rest of the developed world pays a whole lot less for health care than do Americans, and most of their people enjoy longer, healthier lives than Americans do.
US pays 18% of GNP for health care (if we covered everyone the figure would be at least 20%, or 3 trillion dollars a year). So all the factual evidence appears to imply that our system isn’t doing much of anything but draining the US economy paying for it all…

      • Palin16

Your argument boils down to “we should conform to what other countries do”. It seems a lot of foreigners come to the US for their surgeries. Could it be for shorter wait times?

  • Doc Sarvis

She has excelled in all that she has done in my opinion. She was a fine First Lady, almost got the Democratic Presidential nomination in ’08, has been a very good Secretary of State. I would place her high in the list of qualified people to lead our country as President.

    • Walt

Yea! Lets put another Saul Alinsky disciple into the White House.

For those not familiar with this old dead commie’s book, Google “Rules For Radicals”.

Obama taught a course from his book as a Community Organizer.

Although Hillary considered herself a Republican (A Golwater Republican no less) prior to going to college, she had a political “epiphany” while in college and got involved more and more in radical left-wing issues, including demonstrations supporting the Black Panthers, who were on trial for murder.

During the summer of 1971, Mrs. Clinton writes in her book, she was a law clerk at the Oakland firm of Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein. “I spent most of my time working for Mal Burnstein researching, writing legal motions and briefs for a child custody case,” she said. In fact, however, the public record shows that Clinton worked for Robert Treuhaft, a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and Harvard-trained lawyer for the party.

Citing public sources, Peter Flaherty’s book, The First Lady (Vital Issues Press, 1996), says that “Hillary was recommended to Treuhaft by some of her professors at Yale. She was looking for a ‘movement’ law firm to work at for the summer. As it turns out, Hillary would continue her association and support of the Black Panther cause while working as a law clerk for Treuhaft.” Flaherty notes that Treuhaft told Herb Caen of the San Francisco Examiner, “That was the time we were representing the Black Panthers, and she worked on that case.”

I would say Hillary is at least as qualified to be President as Hitler was to be Chancellor of Germany, or Stalin to be Dictator of Russia.

WHY do utopians have such LOW standards for themselves and politicians? WHAT is it between a utopian’s ears that reveres schemes and ‘ideas,’ but minimizes the importance of RESULTS?
With your “logic,” no one should have to do anything to get a diploma or a degree. Existing is more than enough to a utopian to get a piece of paper that implies that someone ‘knows something.’
For many years, it has been obvious to me that utopians drift in and out of reality and fantasy. Peter Pan and Mary Poppins seem to be as real to people like you as real, living people. HOW can
going through life with a child-like ignorance be equated with adult responsibility?
In particular, your god-ish worship of someone like Billary is beyond disgusting. You should know damn well that she could get hired by Russia or China immediately, and she wouldn’t have to endure any security screening. She’s been “that way” for decades, comrade. What’s YOUR excuse for what defines YOU? If utopianism isn’t a symptom of mental problems, it’s incredibly, extremely CLOSE.

      HillARY WOULD ANOTHER OBAMA.

      • eddie47d

She’s a better contender than most of the Republican field except for Ron Paul.

  • Doc Sarvis

Slightly unrelated; President Obama is seeking to reduce the size of government:

    • slapjack

You gotta be kidding me!!!!!! Billary Clinton would be worse than the Welfare Nitwit Commie we have in the White House now. Billary would literaly hand this great nation over to the Communists.

  • DockyWocky

I would still rather see Hillary making federal license plates than continuing to con people. How about Vince Foster and that total fiasco, and the lost FBI documents?

    No answers? No Hillary.

    • Vic Bailey

      DockyWocky,
I agree 100%, her and her dumbass husband need to be in Leavenworth along with her IDOL Bama, and his Regime, they are ALL FRC buttheads they want a New World Order so they can stay in power along with 95% of every government employee. It’s just sad that the SATUPID American citizen can’t see that!

    • Jag

You would talk like about someone like that, when she is only pushing for the UN terrorist Small Arms Treaty, that would disarm all law abiding citizens. Not that it’s ever going to happen, but Communists and Nazis have been trying to disarm us for decades. We would probably have a police state under her Regime.

I have always believed that if the Bill and Hillary Clinton were to be convicted of everything they are guilty of, there wouldn’t be enough time between now and the 2nd coming.

  • romo

I want a president who is intelligent, knowledgeable, and level-headed. A person who can see that decisions and actions that the USA has made and done does not automatically make them either correct or best, and have had unintentional consequences. For the Christians out there (and I am one)I will say: Jesus does NOT love Americans … … more than people from other nations. I support Hillary for president b/c she is intelligent, knowledgeable, level-headed and is NOT beholden to anyone more than to the American people. AND of course you can not please everyone. IF not Hillary, then Ron Paul even though he has vastly different views on domestic issues. I would like Obama to have 4 more years b/c it takes more than three to clean-up Bush’s mess. Then eight years with President Hillary. To the conservative: when i was born marijuana had been legal since and before 1776. Before my dad was born all drugs were legal, but that’s a story for another time. BTW, I am proud of the much good that the USA has done. God Bless everyone in the World.

    • Walt

Romo, the kindest thing I can say about your feelings for Hillary Clinton is that you are grossly ignorant of her beliefs and political ideology. The woman is more left-wing than Obama and would make Obama look like Pee-Wee Herman in comparison.

You need to do some serious research on her past associations and her beliefs before you come on this site and boast naively about your undying devotion to this crypto-communist.

By 2016 Hellary may look like Golda Meier but that’s where it ends. This little blond skank is as useless a Deemer as any who now exist and she will never positively improve with age…..

Did I hear correctly? That Mitt Romney has duel citizenship? That his Grandfather moved to Mexico with four Wives and married a fifth one? That Romney’s father came back into this country, perhaps with not legal documentation, and started up large industrial complexes and perhaps Mitt does not have a U.S. birth certificate? Jan 26th the State of Georgia is taking to task the legality to have Obama placed on the Presidential ballot in Georgia and that 3 other States are contemplating the same Court Action. Legal action is being considered against the Democratic Party for nominating Obama, he not obtaining a Legal birth certificate and BOTH parents born in the U.S.
Why is the Republician Party considerating the, nearly, same with Romney? Is it that they expect Hillary to run instead of Obama? And that the Republician Party does NOT want the legal issues regarding Obama’s duel citizen brought up because of Romney’s duel citizen ship. Do we realy have a TWO party system or a ONE party system?

The first step in recovering a sustainable economy is to stop the borrowing. thus forcing us to live within our means. This will require the spending to fit the income without even a Constitutional amendment, which however could come later. The only presidential candidate that will do this is Ron Paul. That is not just a wish of his supporters it is his plan.

However any successful platform needs to be focused, straightforward and grab everyone’s attention. Here is one way to present this to the “Every-Man”, and “Every-Woman” voter.

“Every time we borrow another dollar, we are abusing our children who are forced to shoulder that debt. Even Mr. Bush abused his children by running up such a large debt during his terms for the children to pay off later. And now our current President is determined to be the greatest Child Abuser of all time. Do not let him or anyone else borrow another cent or even “just a trillion” dollars, of our children’s money.

Stop Child Abuse, Stop Borrowing their money, Elect Ron Paul who will treat our disease and eliminate our addiction. Don’t elect another Child Abuser.”

I believe Hillary Clinton is listed as the most admired and respected woman in the world now.You could go on to say that she is the most powerful woman in the world also.It is truly great how far women have come and all the obstacles they were able to overcome i America and around the world.Still a lot of work to be done though in many areas.

    • libertytrain

Yeah I did see that ABC polled 1,019 Americans and they named her as you say. But realistically “the world” – if you start actually polling people of the rest of the world do you think she’d top the list? I mean that’s kind of American arrogance thinking like those old jokes of us traveling Europe…

  • NanH

Please don’t forget Hillary Clinton is a Markist. She often quoted Karl Marx while she was running against Obama four years ago. Bill and Hillary are “one world control” people and boy would they love that.
