Where does this guy live? I’ll drive two or three days to get my next truck!

Awesome! She didn’t know what to say…

    • Vigilant

The anchor, who can’t reconcile God and guns, has apparently never read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. Jefferson’s Creator-endowed inalienable rights of life and liberty are meaningless if you haven’t the means to defend those rights.

      • http://oinklesam.wordpress.com oinklesam

It’s NOT inalienable its unalienable. Read the Declaration of Independence, the INTENT of law. Inalienable means your rights cannot be taken away, a true statement. Unalienable means your rights cannot be turned into privileges, except by agreement – Contract. Article 1 Section 10 Congress shall make no law imparing the right of (private) contracts. Courts do not decide whether or not you make a wise business decision, only a legal one. The Founding fathers understood contract law AND (Creator Given) Rights v (Government Granted) Privileges. You/we have an unlimited right to contract (doing no harm). Contract law is thousands of years old and considered perfected. Romans used it. We create our own problems by the contracts we sign. Marriage licenses, drivers licenses, IRS 1040 forms. Anyone who signs a 1040 form should check in to the nearest funny farm for an extended visit You sign a 1040 form? Read it. It says “under penalty of purgery”. You are witness to a legal document that makes a statement, which can (and will) be used against you in a court of law, that YOU have READ, UNDERSTOOD AND COMPLIED with the tax code. I’m not mensa. I have read the tax code. There is no way on earth I am going to willingly create a piece of Prima Facia evidence that makes a statement that says I understood what I read within the covers of Title 26 of the US code. If you do, by all means sign it. Pick a page, any page and read it – keep a straight face and tell someone what it says.
Everything we do is a contract. Everything. Thats what started the Occupy Wall Street. these people were waking up to the fact that the banks didn’t have the original wet sig document Promissory Note – the only thing that gives a plaintiff STANDING to sue. Original Wet Sig Document. Try to foreclose on somebody if you hold a 2nd mortgage and go to court WITHOUT the original note. You might want to Take along some vaseline.
        Best of luck…

Luk 22:36 “Sell your robe, buy a sword and defend your self”

        Argue with that, CNN lady!

      • KJQ

@oinklesam: You have the definitions of “inalienable” and “unalienable” backwards (see http://www.gemworld.com/USA-Unalienable.htm). In short, an “inalienable” right CAN be sold or removed with the agreement of the person holding the right, whereas an “unalienable” right is God given and cannot be relinquished, sold, taken away etc. under any circumstances.

  • JimH

She’s trying really hard, to bad the truth is getting in her way.
Even if she does get it she needs to sound like that to keep her job at CNN. You need to know your clientel.

This CNN anchor does not seem to understand that having a gun to protect your family is not a “Christian” thing to do. It is a responsible thing to do and the Bible does not condemn self defense. The Old Testament commandment actually means we should not commit murder and has nothing to do with defending your family or your community. This car dealer is right in saying you can’t wait for the police to respond when your several minutes from the nearest police or sheriff’s office.

I would have just said, “well if the government is arming for battle with enough hollow point rounds to fight a 7 year war”, then I have a right to arm myself as I choose.

  • jopa

This offer sure beats the hell out of getting a toaster or a micro wave.Luv it.He didn’t say what the value of his offer is but most dealers could knock a grand off the price of their cars and still make money.

  • oldmoshooter

poor liberal female with closed mind. MAX Motors will sure sell me my next pickup truck.

Baptist Preacher says: This CNN anchor doesn’t know the Bible. In Luke 22:36 Christ tells His disciples ” — he that hath no sword let him sell his garment and buy one.”

  • shocktrooper1984

Yet another perfectly built, poised and beautiful ‘spokes model’ for the Communist News Network, aka. CNN.
Yup, when faced with multiple (armed OR not) attackers, aka. “mortal enemies”, be they enemy soldiers (and/or) future UN ‘enforcers’, lethal and desperate criminals of any and all creeds/religions/nationalities; (insert “ALL ENEMIES, both foreign or domestic) that I see rushing towards me, my family or my friends, I will fight, kill and die to stop ‘em COLD!…to “Kill ‘em ALL and let GOD sort ‘em out”…just like the U.S. Army taught me all those years ago. “I’ve seen the elephant, and the elephant NEVER forgets!”
In spite of the shady pedigree of the illegal arms dealer character played by Samual Jackson in the (really cool) movie; ‘Get Jackie Brown’, I still totally agree with his line quote…”When you absolutely, positively, have to kill EVERY (M-F-er) in the room…my personal favorite…the AK47!”……yup.
Avtomat Kalashnikov Nineteen-Fourty-Seven…30 ready-rounds of instant and unflinching, supersonic justice for all (who have-it coming to ‘em). HOO-YA & AMEN!
    GOD bless MAX MOTORS!!!!!!!!!

  • Weaver

The message from Max Motors is quite clear, and yet the CNN reporter goes way out of her way to not understand. What an idiot! No wonder I haven’t watched CNN in years and years.

  • jimmy the greek

This man needs to represent us in washington D C

  • http://yahoo.com Bill

I commend this man, he is a real American and stands up for what he and I believe!!!!!!!!

  • ernie

God always comes first in everything, Guns the tools for protecting my family second, Guts the inner strength and honor I need to conduct myself properly, and american pickup trucks, sounds like a good ole boy to me. Altogether i sounds like a good motto and puts things in the proper perspective. I am responsible first to God and then to my family then to my society and me.

  • Judy May

Wake up CNN anchor . We are under obligation to protect our family and our belongings.

Religion and Self-Defense “Thoughts for the day”
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are safe.”
    - Luke 11:21

“Jesus said, ‘But now whoever has a purse or a bag, must take it and whoever does not have a sword must sell his cloak and buy one.’”
    - Luke 22:36

“A patriot without religion in my estimation is as great a paradox as an honest Man without the fear of God. Is it possible that he whom no moral obligations bind, can have any real Good Will towards Men? Can he be a patriot who, by an openly vicious conduct, is undermining the very bonds of Society? … The Scriptures tell us “righteousness exalteth a Nation.”
    - Abigail Adams
“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
    - John Adams
“God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it.”
    - Daniel Webster
“Though defensive violence will always be ‘a sad necessity’ in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men.”
    - St. Augustine
“Without doubt one is allowed to resist against the unjust aggressor to one’s life, one’s goods or one’s physical integrity; sometimes, even ’til the aggressor’s death…. In fact, this act is aimed at preserving one’s life or one’s goods and to make the aggressor powerless. Thus, it is a good act, which is the right of the victim.”
    - Thomas Aquinas

And this is why until people realize that it is PEOPLE who kill people and not guns, this kind of silly media ineptitude will continue. Beware, something evil this way come. Arm yourselves and pray you have enough ammo!

  • BUDDIE DAVID

Max Motors has the right idea to selling trucks, aks are good but if things don’t change after Nov. election. I hope he changes to the PIG that is a M-60 for those non Vietnam Vets nothing bets a chain fed machine gun, and lots of ammo and like Justin says I think the evil is already coming, I truly hope we are all wrong but I am going to be ready if not.
