Yes, Gov. CC is honest and refreshing.

    • Maverick

I agree. I respect a man who says it like it is. Plain English, no BS, just plain old ‘in your face’ as it is.

      • Bernadine

if the people he is speaking to are demacrates and laughing even though he is right tells the story of what is wrong with our government

  • dan of arizona

i like this guy hope for change may be comming

    • Maverick

Hey Dan ,,, As a fellow Arizonan, I’m right there with you. I see these political statements laying in my property outside of town. Horses and cattle, they speak from the same end. But, I like this guy … he tells it like it is. THAT, I RESPECT !!!

  • s c

Finally, we have someone willing to put progressive media whores in their place. While he’s at it, Christie needs to go after the retards who employ such prejudiced and incompetent ‘employees.’ Stomp the puppet and the puppet master at the same time. Otherwise, they both have carte blanche to keep Americans dumbed-down and fed more subjective, third-rate, yellow journalism.

    • Maverick

NOTHING THAT A GOOD ‘CATTLE PROD’ WOULDN’T FIX …..

      • EltonJ

Well, we can always ask the Aliens to use an anal probe.

      • Plookie

Sounds like a good idea!! :o)

    • http://www.personalliberty.com R.M.B.H.

      Amen to that!!

  • don

This fellow is great. We need about 534 more like this in the Washington, D.C. political show.

  • Sandyt

No muss, no fuss. Wish every state had a Chris Christie.
    Bring it on!

    • http://fox Dede Giove

I like him. We need more honest straight forward politicians who care about their country and their people. There is to many stupid things going on in this country. Most of these politicians care about themselves and screw the country and its people.

  • JeffH

If only we could find about 1000 more just like Gov. Christie we could tell the UN and the Fed Reserve to take a hike…very refreshing. He really makes the wild bunch in DC look as bad as they all are.

  • Bill M

Watching Chris Christie in this article was a pleasure. I only hope some of the other politicions in this country take a good look at what a real, honest, politicion looks like, and attempt to emulate him. If they did, it would almost assure reelection next term. Although I am from California, I followed the elections of N.J. as best I could. Chris Christie did seem to be the best candidate,
( in my opinion ), after watching this video, I believe the people of N.J. elected the right man.

  • Pat E

The gentleman from NJ is indeed refreshing, I wish we had one like him in GA.

Hard to fathom an elected official who is concerned about what his constituents want him to do rather than what his party expects him to do.

He should run for president. He’d have my vote.

  • Maverick

I am so sick of the ‘Harry Reids’, Hellary Clintons, ‘Fancy Nancy Pelosi’ types ,,, It makes me sick. I think, they should heed the words ,,, ‘The rider on the pale horse is coming’. November isn’t far away. And, ‘Gomerbama’ ,, I’d start preparing to get in the unemployment line you and your ‘partners in crime’ have created. It’s only getting longer.

    • http://www.personalliberty.com R.M.B.H.

Dems are thinking ahead to November, probably main reason behind advancing unemployment benefits :-), for a measley (((in their eyes)))43Billion. Hope “everyone” of them will be standing in that line, GET OUT & VOTE IN NOVEMBER folks.

    • Plookie

It looks like the sheepole are waking up and Christie is helping them to do just that. Let’s hope they just stop following the Judas goat into the slaughter pen soon as our country depends on that.

  • Mary F

California could use a governor like Gov. Christie! We could even use him to replace ALL of our state legislators!

    • JeffH

      Amen from Fresno…

  • Ann Mere

Yes, honest & refreshing. I agree that here in California we could use a Gideon’s army made up of men like Gov. Christie. We’re in the middle of an invasion here.

  • Angel-Wanna-Be

Love to see this guy make a run for the Presidency___he’s got some Balz and I love it!

  • EltonJ

Gov. Christie is so far the best governor in America. I haven’t heard Governor Herbert (Gov-UT) talk like this. He’s a bastion of political strength.

    • Dagney

I can think of a couple more good ones… Gov. Brewer, AZ and Gov. Jindal, LA. Christie is wonderful and I would love for him to run for president when his term is over in NJ.

      • DaveH

Don’t be so sure about Jan Brewer, Dagney. Yes, she’s on the right side of the fence about enforcing the law against illegal immigrants. But in general, she is just a typical tax and spend politician. Her kind isn’t going to get the job of shrinking government done.

    • Steve W.

I would vote for this guy in a minute if he runs for president. I could just see him kicking liberal but in Washington.

  • Debbie

Love it! I would vote for him for president!!

    • Mary

Chris sounds like a real man. If Wahington don’t ruin him I think he’ll be the best presidential candidate in the near future. What we have right know are classless trashy homos in the Fun House.

  • Nick

Sooooooo Refreshing to Hear a Person in his Profession tell it like it is and Not be afraid to say what Most Americans are Thinking, I won’t call him a Politician because of What I and Many others Feel towards Politicians Especially the Majority of The So-called Americans Living In Washington D.C. I would vote for this man in a Heart Beat. Remember in November to Take throw the Trash Out.
And Especially in 20012 to throw the Bum out.

    • http://www.personalliberty.com R.M.B.H.

Hopefully that will happen Before 2012, WHERE”S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE”" He should not be there in the first place

  • Annie Ladysmith

We need strong local governments with strong state governors, ready to seceed when the time comes. I’ll put N.J. on my list of places to move to.

  • Nina Zick

it’s about time someone stood up to be counted and told the liberal press what it’s about. I wonder where the liberal press will be when they begin losing their freedom of speech. Did the reporter print what the governor said?

  • Mary

I agree,we need more people like him in office and tell it as it is.

  • Jeff

There is a great new crop of Republican governors now…..Jindal, Brewer and Christie to name just three. Christie and Jindal are the most eloquent and both will prove to be excellent governors that can handle tough crises in their respective states. YOU GO GUYS!

  • John C

Bold & Refreshing, nice to see that for a change.
Remeber to vote, and we may get a few like Christie this go around and more in 2012

  • http://www.personalliberty.com/feature-video/ TL

Alright! Finally an politician who is not afraid to tell like it is.
Hooray for Gov. Chris Christie. We could use 200+ more like him in Washington, DC.

  • Art Copcutt

Amen to all. its about time.

  • http://n/a RDF

My wish is that Chris Christie would name 535 friends JUST LIKE HIM to send to Washington to clean up that mess. Chris can sign all the paper to repeal all the junk that BO has signed, and a whole lot more.

  • http://Google Helmut S Lenko

Wow-I’m impressed ! We need to load both Houses with people like Chris
Christie..Let’s “get ‘er done!! Enough “gobbledegook” already…(WA.)

  • http://www.inmartgroup.com Anna Marie Ferguson

I love this man! Not too difficult to understand what he says, does, and intends to do. A hint to all politicians – “take heed and follow suit”.

  • mmcgraw

THIS IS THE MAN WE NEED FOR PRESIDENT AND THIS IS THE KIND OF MEN THAT WE NEED IN ALL POLITICAL OFFICES AND IN PLACES OF EXECUTIVE POWER IN THIS COUNTRY IN ALL ARENAS OF BUSINESS! GOD Bless America with this prayer now and Glory to GOD for the answer.amen.

  • Jeff

This guy is refreshing. He is not a typical politician who tries every way possible to NOT answer a question. He understands that he works for the people and his straighforwardness is great. I agree with the other comments, I wish all of these other so-called representatives could follow his lead and not constantly worry about their re-election prospects. Do the job you were elected for and move on. I like his philosophy of less government, lower taxes and staying out of the way so we, the people can get things done.

  • Dennis Stricklin

Can this guy run for President? RUN CHRIS CHRISTIE I am in Florida and I would vote for you!

  • Roger Daniell

I WANT TO SEE THIS MAN RUN FOR PRESIDENT, I BELIEVE HE WOULD GET A LOT OF CONSERVATIVE VOTES. HE HAS PLAIN TALK, BLUNT SPEECH AND SAYS WHAT IS ON HIS MIND. NO BS, NO BEATING AROUND THE BUSH, AND HE WILL NOT ALLOW THE PRESS TO BEND OR SHAPE HIS WORDS TRYING TO MAKE HIM LOOK BAD. I THINK IF THERE WILL EVER BE A CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT THAT WILL BE OPEN AND TRANSPARENT AND HAVE AN OPEN AND TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION THIS IS THE GUY.

  • Paul Sterbenz

Is this guy a breath of fresh air, or what. He’s what New Jersey needs and what this great nation needs in the way of Leadership.

  • Dick Marple

Chris should be referred to as a “STATESMAN”,
    perhaps “STATESMAN OF THE YEAR”!

He is not a politician, which for those of you who do not know the root of the word “politics” it comes from the Greek words, “Poli”, meaning many and “tics”, meaning blood sucking creatures.

Chris is NOT a politician, he is a Statesman” !

  • john

This guy is great..I truly like the part where he states that he cares not about being re elected. I wish he was the gov. of my state of Washington. The person we have here just decided that if you do not own your home they can do a search without a warrant. All tenant houses may now be searched with no warrant! What a joke. Anyway good health and good luck to this man!

  • Palin12

This is the guy who defeated billionaire Jon Corzine (D), who Obummer had campaigned for.

  • chuck b

palin and christie would make a great team.

  • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Thomas the Citizen

Proud to watch this as I grew up in Jersey City and am familiar with the ‘attitude’ Jersey people get stuck with. Right onto the White House in 2012 CC!!! Matched with a Palin or Bachmann he could win!!!

  • Marcy care

Chris Christie and a Mitt Romney would put America back on track. We don’t need cheerleaders like Palin, what we need are intelligent capable individuals who can balance the check book and stand up to what is right about America. Palin is too combatant and reactionary, we need conservative intelligence and well read people who can stir us away from historical past mistakes.

    • JeffH

This isn’t about your perception of Palin, why even bring it into the equation, this is about Christie…the people will decide about whether Palin or whomever else is qualified, or not, somewhere down the road…any non-liberal and non-socialist is better than the status quo we’ve had running this country for the last hundred or so years(Dems and Repubs).

      • AllyB

Shje was replying to ChuckB’s comment about Palin. See Above!

  • http://andreasoucy.com andi

The trouble with Gov Christi is that he can only be spread so thin! There is a need to make him viral and infect more of the silent majority to speak out boldly and clearly. In my mind he has definite presidenial qualities although it would send DC into a tailspin to have all the flummery and inkhorn terms removed from daily discourse.

  • Mary J

I really respect an elected leader who is true to his/her principals. Ethics and honesty matter. We can live in our country peacefully if we truly live our lives with our integrity and honor. This man is willing to follow through on the premise of the people who elected him. New Jersey will be a better place because of him and there is not a doubt in my mind…politics only go so far, integrity is limitless.

  • J. G. Hogan

hope this was Tom Moran………WOW!!!……b*tch slapped personified

  • George

Tha is coverno and that the pepol LIKE we net coverment LIKE YOU
    God ples

  • http://charter.net Phil

It’s refreshing to see a politician who is straight forward and honest

God Bess American and New Jersey for electing him

  • RJ

We need get rid of the BHO Dictators in Washington and elect men and women that has the same principles as Mr. Christie from New Jersey.

  • Choctaw

One of the best comebacks to a reporter I’ve heard..Be great if there was a governor of his caliber in all 50 states..And I can’t leave out a hundred senators and 400 plus congressmen..

  • http://hophop29@aol.com Hoppy says

I like this man. We need more Politicians like him in congress and governing all 50 states. He speaks his mind and if you don’t like it then lump it. God Chris.

  • http://Honest&refreshing? Carol Goodwin

There are still honest and refreshing plausible candidates but the ones with big money from big corporations are the ones who get elected.
I’d love to see elections which did not depend on money! I believe
campaign TV spots should be limited to debates and or equal FREE time for individual exposure. Anyone greasing anyone’s palm would be disqualified! I am so sick of Texas’ governor, I cold throw up without much provocation. He’s almost a bad as Obama; insomuch as if his mouth moves, he is lying!

  • don l.

PLEASE RUN FOR PRESIDENT. YOU ARE JUST WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS.

  • http://personalliberty Mary

Way to go Governor! Keep up the good work!

  • payne

wow man ur good u go we need more like u

  • Russ

I think that Gov Christie should run for president in 2012.
There’s no way Obummer or any other democrat could be as straight forward, honest, intelligent and caring about this country as
Gov Christie. I have one concern though. The good Governor should
invest in a tread mill and slim down. I mean this kindly.
I’d like for Gov Christie to be around for a long time putting
socialist liberal progressives in their place.

  • Richard Carroll

Well folks, I see we have a real person that we can really be honest to his people. This is the man that should be in the White House.Someone who will do the right thing for us all.

  • TCraig

I can’t tell you how nice it feels to hear someone in politics who’s honest and refreshing….which Gov. CC certainly is. Wouldn’t it be nice to replace Snobama and all of the neo-nazi clowns in congress, who are constantly attacking the U.S. Constitution and taking away our rights on a weekly basis, with a bunch of men and women who care about this country and it’s citizens? The only time you’ll ever find all of our Congressmen in session (where they belong) is when they’re voting on their own raises or increased retirement package. How truly pathetic they are!!! Get rid of all of them, and their corruption, and lets find people who have good morals and integrity. They’re out there. Gov Christie proves it.

  • Kathie

I pray to GOD this man is for real…..and that we can find more and more individuals like Gov Christie to elect. GOD Bless America…and bring us hope for our future. We must stop the spending at all levels of government. Live on a budget like we’ve all been doing.

I’ll be looking and listening for real conservative to elect….

  • http://verizon Lori120

Finally, a breath of fresh air for the State of NJ–an honest politician who doesn’t talk out of both sides of his mouth. Now, New Jerseyans need to vote out “ALL” of the incumbent BUMS who have enriched their “Special Interest Buddies” on the backs of the hardworking taxpayers, just to keep their power. Remember the VOTERS have the “Final Power.” Go Jersey!!!!

  • http://www.personalliberty.com/feature-video/gov-chris-christier-nj-puts-a-liberal-reporter-in-his-place/ Mike †

Finally, someone who will stand up for what is right, uncorrupted by the almighty dollar. A fresh beginning towards a healing of our Nation, one could only hope. 2 Chronicles 7:14.
