Friday Fun: A Roundup Of This Week’s Political Cartoons

January 17, 2014 by

Oh là là! An exposé published last Friday alleged French President François Hollande has been having an affair with French actress Julie Gayet for two years. The news was too much for the French first lady, Hollande’s partner of several years, Valérie Trierweiler. Reportedly, she took one pill too many and has been hospitalized ever since. Until last night, her doctors wouldn’t even permit Hollande to visit her. So… will the first lady be at Hollande’s side when he visits the United States next month? The two are scheduled to attend a formal state dinner on Feb. 11. Stay tuned.
