For some reason I dont see a video above. Is this the video in question?

  • Christin

Very disturbing video… not one, but several shots.
The wheel chair guy was definately outnumbered and out weaponed.

    Police Protection or Police Brutality?

    • Vicki

one of the nicer things about all this video technology is that more and more incidents like that above will be caught on tape and shown to the world instead of being hidden by those who were there and had something to hide.

    • Tom Kaighin

Yes, very disturbing…he stabbed a cop in the shoulder and was shot with bean-bag rounds. Do you even have a clue what you’re talking about? He should have been shot in the head with lead. The officers used limited force and he’s now fine, behind bars. What’s the issue?

      • Sevnth

That’s a LIE, he did not stab anyone, and NO “Bean Bags” were used – You don’t live here, this IS a daily occurrence in SF and Oakland – Your mentality would get you the very same there.

  • Allen

What did the SF Police department say about the incident?

The guy stabbed a cop, was NOT shot with a shotgun but rubber rounds. He didn’t look very handicapped as he walked off down the street with the cops. The on lookers who tapped it were only guessing as to what happened and their commentary is biased.
The guy deserves to go to jail for his actions.

  • Sevnth

This, IS your Police in the United States of America – Period.

Your constitution means nothing to them, you don’t do what “they” say, they kill you.
Think I’m exaggerating? Watch the video again, then type in Google, “Police state” and find out how many other times it’s happened – THOUSANDS of times since Ruby Ridge & Waco.

Being a cop is a thankless job at times. What if the guy in the wheel chair was sitting on a Glock 17 and shot all the cops? Bean bags served their purpose on this one. Being in public service and putting your life on the line for some people who could give a sh*! and hate you at the same time; I am glad someone wants to be in law enforcement. As for the PIGS comment above; you would be the first one crying and suing when they are not there to protect you. No system is perfect.

  • Sevnth

I’d like the coward journalist or SFPD Rep that started this “bean Bag” horse crap to step forward.
Maybe a Bean Bag shooting gun should have been brought to the seen if That’s the way they wanted to spin the story ..

  • Allana

Interesting – would be nice to know the facts and not just “assume”.
I could not imagine shooting someone in a wheelchair unless they had equal force.
Does anyone know the TRUE facts of what he was shot with
(real bullet, rubber or bean bag)???
The wheelchair guy was standing and walking in the end….is he a “faker” or did he really need the wheelchair?
Regardless – equal force is what it should be use0d.
The facts are necessary to make a “true” opinion.

WHat is the deal here? Does a guy in a wheel chair get extra rights to shoot someone? I could careless if you are in a wheel chair, and if you pull a gun on me, I will shoot back if I am carrying.Does the wheel chair make him less deadly?? More bleeding heart liberals.
