Feinstein Aiming For Your Weapons

November 14, 2012 by

In September, anti-gun zealot Senator Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) told California delegates she would introduce “an updated assault weapons bill” in the coming Congress.

Last week, Shootingwire.com reported that Feinstein’s legal staff had met with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives staff to discuss what the bill will look like. If his sources are correct, her bill will be the most egregious assault on the 2nd Amendment in the country’s history.

The discussion included a plan to ban pistol grips and “high capacity magazines,” eliminate any grandfathering and ban the sale of “weapons in possession.”

Gun sales have been off the charts since President Barack Obama’s re-election last week. The fear that anti-gun crowd will be emboldened by the election results appears to be well-grounded.

While on would hope the bill will die in committe It will probably make it to the floor for a vote. I can expect one of my senators to vote against the bill and the other to vote however he feels is most politicaly expediant for him at the moment.

This is quite the canundrum isn’t it?!

Anti-gun advocates trying to take guns out of living people’s hands! And what exactly is their firepower to do this!

Imagine if we went to war over this! I’m guessing anti-gun advocates don’t have guns?! And they are waging a war against those of us that do?!

That’s about as powerful a message as we heard from Obama in the debate…… “their is no way sequestering is gonna happen!!!!”. Really….. Where is his firepower to stop it! The republicans own congress!

When are these people gonna learn! 1)You can’t take guns from living people’s hands, expecially when you cannot match firepower! 2). We have these guns to protect our selfs, our family’s, and our country!!!!!!!!

Having a nuclear weapon only means something, if you don’t have to use it! If you don’t have one….. You cannot demand anything!

Using a nuclear weapon, defeats the purpose of having it! Mutually assured destruction is nobodies goal!

The purpose of having guns…… To defend against those that are seeking to cause us serious harm! By us, I mean…… Ourselves, our families, and our country! Oh yeah……. We are also going to have to defend people without guns too!

    • stopspending

Unfortunately, while the anti gun crowd probably do not have guns, the military and police do have guns and will certainly feel free to use them if they are told to do so.

      • http://yahoo bob

the military for the most part is composed of American Patriot kids….yours and mine…Will they shoot?? hell no! Now that the purge in the military aimed at our top generals who will be replaced by political hacks means that the army will be loaded with illegals who will follow orders to shoot on American citizens…They will make a fatal mistake if they do this.

      • http://personalliberydigest big wyo

A mafority of the youth in the services would never fire on americans. Call that a given but 47 percent are decendent of ultra liberals who we owe a living. Much like the Marxists college students on election night you must count on the fact that some would fire on Americans and love doing it.

      • CZ52

Many of the anti-gun crowd do have guns. They believe they have the right to own guns while you are not worthy of that right. Many others have armed security to protect them based on the same general premis…they deserive the protection but you don’t.

  • czman75

It is not about gun control, it is about people control. Now that comrade ovomit is still in power, there will be a renewed effort to Americans under his rule. However, even before his re-installing, Americans still own more ammo and guns than the entire Military, that number is growing every day. There are now two rifles behind every blade of grass…
The ballot BOX has been tried, it just may time to open another type of box…

Never say never. People said we could never have a black empty suit for president.

  • concerned citizen

If they don’t do it here in government, obama still has the UN treaties to try and ramrod it through to us… I think we should really be considering not what the legislation is… but the actual reason why it is still being tried… I don’t think it is fear… gun control for people who are allowed to have guns is silly… and I don’t see anything in their “talks” to go after guns that are in the wrong hands…
    Whazzup with that??

It has come the the true Americans stand for thier true rights. Our forefathers carried and bared arms and we will do the same. These testtube politians, they weren’t taught the forefathers way. They were taught the low life ways to survive. That is to run over who is your way and don’look back. The true American stand for life and justice in the American way. Not the left wibg liberals (communist) they are. I say everyone of the Congress ,Senate, and Oval Office should empeached and charged for high treason!! This country belongs to the People, not our leaders! They were elected to do so and they all have felled.

  • Di, Cerrillos,NM

The Dick provision of 1902 protects the 2nd Amendment from the likes of Feinstein, a dedicated Zionist. The UN is trying to control the world and removing guns from citizens is critical to their agenda.

    These folks don’t read history.

    • coal miner 1

      Right on Di, Cerrillos,NM
Our gun rights aren’t for sale.Zionism is a threat to world peace.Stand your ground.

  • Hedgehog

I’m a little confused. I’m a Canadian, what Eddie47d calls a foreign troll. I’ve always been under the impression that the 2nd Amendment guarantees the right to bear ARMS. To me that means anything from sticks and stones to gigaton nuclear weapons, not just guns! Granted your founding fathers didn’t have nukes, but they did have bombs, and rockets. If your government legislates away your guns, are they not just encouraging you to switch your form of armament? Is your government insane?

    • Kate8

Hedgehog – Insane? Seemingly. A better word is psychopathic, since they are very clear on what they are doing.

Feinstein has been revealed as a Mossad asset.

If this is, indeed, true, she is about to be exposed for who she really is. And so are a lot of other people in high places:

      This should be huge.

    • JeffH

Hedgehog, don’t be discouraged by eddie, he is the board troll and also the consumate PARROT. He’s never heard anything that he wouldn’t repeat…whether he understood the meaning or not.

      Polly want a cracker? baaarrraaacckkkkk!

      • Kate8

JeffH – I’d love for you to check out the link I posted above. This is newly released intel, and nowhere else that I’ve seen. We should know soon enough.

It’s a riviting read. You might be surprised, and it has some great revelations about Hildabeast. And some great pictures, too. Yech!

      • JeffH

Kate8, I read the info in the link and and have done a bunch of additional searches and see that Hennegan has been putting out information like this for many years. I don’t know what to think about him as an “Intelligence Expert”…but I do fully agree with him on one thing…Who Knows What is Real and What Isn’t.

His scattered delivery and writing style makes it very difficult to take him serious…but in todays world, we have to look at everything presented as possibly true and sort through it looking for some sort of validity.

        Check this out.

Kate8, RE: Tom Henegan…I thought you might find this article by Barbara Hartwell a bit interesting.

While doing a search on an unrelated matter, I found the following “intelligence report” written by Tom Heneghan, who touts himself as an “International Intelligence Expert”.

Heneghan (a former campaign manager for/longtime supporter of Al Gore) works with Stew Webb, who used to be my good friend, that is, until 2006, when all hell broke loose over what I have come to call the Al Gore Agenda.

I did a search on Barbara Hartwell and this came up…interesting stuff.

      • Kate8

JeffH – Thanks for the good work.

It’s really disheartening to see that there is so much disinfo out there. And all of the “intel people” constantly discredit one another. You would think that they would want to work together…unless their job is to create confusion so that people stop listening to anything at all…which is what they do.

It’s sad, because it means that the PTB win when we all stop listening to anyone. So many different stories keeps us wondering who, if anyone, is truthful, and it has the effect of making us all feel powerless and ready to just give up. Which is the whole point of it.

You know, there was a time when I was ill and near death. When I knew I would likely die, rather than feeling hopeless, I felt absolutely free… of worry, concern…of anything. I saw everything in a new light. Things had more meaning, people were more important, and I felt so lucky and grateful for everything in my life. I was free to just love everyone and everything, with no thought for tomorrow. (I believe that is why I recovered.)

The point is, I’m getting to that place again. It’s like, things get so crazy and senseless that something inside snaps, and I just want to let go of it all and enjoy each moment for what it is, and ignore the idiocy. That must be why people become willing to sacrifice their own lives for a cause.

Who knows. Maybe we should all just tell these bozos to take a hike, and then stop paying any attention to them at all. Maybe that is the key to healing a nation, too.

Maybe if we just ignore them, they won’t have anyone to torment. Perhaps a good old fashioned shunning is in order.

      • JeffH

Kate8, believe me when I say I do uderstand. Like you, I did die in a hospital bed in Alameda in Jan 2008…congestive heart failure…I had the best group of nurses and doctors that revived me…I was very lucky and it just wasn’t my time to say adios. I’m healthy today and that’s what matters.

I don’t dwell and fret over anything anymore…even the state of affairs we and our country are faced with althoug I am deeply concerned. I consider myself to be a principled man and I believe very deeply in the founding principles of this nation and am not willing to compomise those principles.

I’m also not a deeply spiritual person, at least not in the sense that I have to identify my beliefs with a church, cult or congregation but I do believe in GOD and to me that’s all that matters. I was babtized Catholic but have never been a practicing Catholic. I just prefer to keep my faith private, between me and God.

I guess what I’m saying is I’ve learned to look at everything, pay attention and try to make rational and intelligent decisions. The bickering that takes place here is just meaningless. All I know is that there is right and wrong and everything we see and hear fits somewhere in between. Those are the rules that I play by. There are just a handfull of people on this website that I respect and trust and you are one of them. Right now there’s a lot more wrong than there is right and I’ll continue to fight for what I’ve learned is right, our Constitutional Republic, The Constitution and the unalienable rights given to us by our creator. Anything less is unacceptable.

        Molôn Labé!

      • JeffH

Kate8, I did forget to mention one thing…if only we could come together with a good old fashioned shunning…but there’s just too many selfish and evil minded people to think something like that could ever happen.

      • Kate8

JeffH – What really gets to me is that there is not way to hold these weasels accountable for anything. They truly are above the rest of us when it comes to laws. They do whatever they want. It’s all theater with them.

Nothing sticks to Obama. We all know something is very wrong with this picture. We all know that he’s ruining our country. He does despicable things, and no matter how much proof surfaces, there is no one to hold him accountable. If millions cry out for justice, but no one hears… No one at the top is touchable anymore.

Nothing seems real anymore. Like Wonderland, where nothing is as it seems. Nonsensical. Everyone perceives things entirely differently, and each person believes he has the truth. The only truth is, none of it is true. It’s all smoke and mirrors. And the creators of the illusions sit back and laugh at us as we try to figure out what’s going on, as if that were even possible.

A good example is the election. We all know it was completely fraudulent, and that the votes were tampered with. It’s so blatant… and they no longer even care to present a good illusion. They know we can’t, or won’t, do anything about it, nothing will stick… and so we are forced to live with this outrage or pretend that it’s real. People would rather make believe the government is above such corruption than to accept that we have no voice.

A year ago everyone insisted FEMA camps didn’t exist. Now they are up and running. What better way to get people into them than create disasters where people have nowhere else to go. People could disappear and no one would ever question it. Wouldn’t matter if they did… no one would hear them.

We are manipulated at every turn. We try to do what’s right, and we’re treated with contempt.

        We are pathetic.

        I’m over it.

      • JeffH

Kate8, my local talk show host, Ray Appleton KMJ 580 Fresno, was talking about election fraud today. He said, and I haven’t verified this, that there were 59 precincts in Pennsylvania and 9 in Ohio where Romney did not recieve 1 vote…that’s 0 votes. I’d believe that would be impossible.

        From the Philadelphia Inquirer:
It’s one thing for a Democratic presidential candidate to dominate a Democratic city like Philadelphia, but check out this head-spinning figure: In 59 voting divisions in the city, Mitt Romney received not one vote. Zero. Zilch.

One poll watcher in Pennsylvania actually claims that he witnessed voting machine software repeatedly switch votes from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama…

Then there is the situation in Florida where it appears that the fix was in to oust Allen West, but he’s fighting back and starting to get some results.

The Washington Post (no friend of Col. West) reported today: Allen West-Patrick Murphy race: Florida to probe vote issues.

In fact, the Post further reports that, “After a partial recount of early voting in the county (St. Lucie), West gained 132 votes and challenger Murphy lost 667.”

According to U.S. Representative Allen West, there were numerous “voting irregularities” in St. Lucie County, Florida on election day…“The thing that spurred our curiosity in our race was the fact that at 1 o’clock in the morning on Election Night, all of a sudden there was a 4,000-vote swing that took me from being ahead to put the lead into my opponent’s hands.”

According to the Election Protection Coalition, voters across the United States reported more than 70,000 voting problems by 5 PM Eastern time on election day.

Prior to the election, voters in the states of Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Ohio all reported that voting machines were switching their votes for Romney over to Obama.

Wood County, Ohio (which Obama won) has a voting age population of 98,213, but somehow 106,258 voters were registered to vote on election day.

It’s way past time to oust the 2 parties from power start from scratch…but it needs to be done and “we the people” are the only ones that can do it.

      • Kate8

Exactly, JeffH. Did we not see this coming?

Not only that, but the areas which got the highest Obama votes were ones which did not require voter ID.

That’s what I mean. They don’t even try to hide their corruption anymore. It’s rubbed into our faces. They know we see it, and they know we can’t do anything about it.

We’ve watched this same thing in country after country, where the people’s choice lost, and everyone knew it was rigged. That’s what totalitarians do.

I also think that the WH is behind the secession petitions. I mean, they are from the WH website. Gee, I’d sure want my name and other info on a secession petition. Anyone can see that such things carry no weight at all, and only give them a list of their opposition.

Like I said. Obama seems untouchable. We can’t do anything…we are told we have to talk to our “representatives”, to “go through channels”, to work within the system. Right.

So, if they won’t act, we’re SOL.

        Really.

        We’ll see.

No Hedgehog they are not insane. Devious, criminal, communist, evil, yes, but not insane, they know exactly what they are doing.
Just like in Canada where I’m from, the devious, criminal, communist, evil, Alan Rock and his band of anti-gun-nut Liberals using the tragedy of the Ecole Polytechnique shooting to bring in gun control legislation, which does absolutely nothing to address guns in the hands of criminals and gangsters and ONLY targets law abiding, responsible firearms owners – farmers, hunters, target shooters. It’s obvious the legislation was designed to take away our right to own property – guns, so we COULD NOT defend ourselves against criminals or the government – let the state take of you!
I was advised by a range officer that when I filled out my application for a gun license that I DO NOT state the firearm is for defensive purposes! And if you have had a fight with your wife or a bad seperation with an ex-spouse, which you HAVE to list, good luck getting a lisence issued!
The 2nd Ammendment in America is on the way out – it’s only a matter of time. In Canada we don’t even have a 2nd Ammendment.
Look at Australia, after they banned guns, they also banned the carrying of knives! Look at Britain, no guns allowed but cameras every where.
The socialization of all western countries and a rescinding of Common Law inherant rights in all our constitutions is underway big time. The only way to stop this is for people to get together and stop it. Whether you live in America, Canada, Britain or Australia, look around you at who your fellow countrymen are, do you really think you stand a chance?

    • Vicki

      Hedgehog writes:
“If your government legislates away your guns, are they not just encouraging you to switch your form of armament?”

Since they already legislated away private ownership of all those other things. (look up the BATFE rules on “destructive devices”. See individual state laws on swords and knives.) the only thing standing in their way are the tools of ranged self defense. I.E. Rifles and pistols.

      • Hedgehog

When did they legislate away bows and arrows? Anyone can make archery equipment, even kids. What’s next slings and slingshots? For that matter it’s a piece of cake to make a mortar, with concrete filled beer cans for ammo! Your government is insane! Even the Japanese in WW2 couldn’t keep the Filipinos disarmed, with the death penalty backing up their occupation troops! I’m a weapon smith by hobby and I know what I can build out of junk. But, I’m a Canadian. It’s not my fight YET!

      • Vicki

Our government does act as though it is insane. On a lot of issues. As to the keeping and bearing of arms, I am the weapon. Those are just tools I make/use.

Utopians, at some point, will have to be told straight out. That is, they need to understand that when it comes to ‘taking’ that which does not belong to them, it may be a Washington specialty, but it is still immoral, illegal, not up for debate (ever) and simply wrong.
For specific, elected subhumans, it needs to be said that they can have the functional ‘pieces’ of a weapon. They will be doled out (redistributed?) one ‘piece’ at a time.
Some weapons dole out those pieces in small bits, some dole them out at a faster pace, and some are just plain awesome in speed and efficiency.
As for Feinstein, she needs to return to her home planet. She has brainwashed herself into thinking that there is no difference between a theory and a fact. ‘Some’ people have to learn the hard way. Whatever it takes is that which must be done. Do you REALLY think scummers like Feinstein will ever show up at your front door and demand that you turn over your 2nd Amendment items to HER? Imagine the surprise on her face when she realizes that there is no health insurance that will cover “some” events.
Best and brightest? Elite? On the right side of history? I suppose she’s also the ‘smartest woman in the room.’ Utopians. Subhuman, every last one of them. Et tu, schmucks.

  • ranger09

Im really sorry folks, Our boys and Girls in Uniform WILL shoot. Military and Police will just follow orders HAS been done in the past and will be done again. Also our access to weapons is very, very small compared to the POWER that could be released on us, As a Great Man once said. Americans with Guns have kept America FREE, America can never be defeated from outside ONLY from within. God bless what Americans that are left to really defend this Country. I will not shed no more blood in another Country, Only within my own JEH. And if you look at the record NO Honest Gun owning American has ever illegally killed another American with an auto weapon, ONLY the Police.

    • http://www.facebook.com/dan.mancuso.56 Dan Mancuso

“Will shoot”. Do you mean like the ‘Bonus Marchers’, post WW1, and led by the same guy who warned us about the Millitary-Industrial-Complex?

    • Kate8

This is why we need to make the effort to start talking to our local law enforcers. Many of them do not realize what’s happening, and they just follow orders.

Talking to them now, reminding them that their oath is to protect and defend OUR Constitutional rights against ANYONE, including government, is critical. They need time to consider and assimilate this information, to make a choice about whether to follow unlawful orders. When an emergency occurs, it’s too late. If left to decide in an instant, on the spot, more than likely they’ll follow orders and turn on us.

I spoke to a local police officer and he was not aware of what was happening. After we talked, he understood. I gave him some things to think about, and it was a really good conversation.

We must talk to them NOW. Get them on our side. If they think about it, they don’t want their families living under a police state, either. They have been trained to act, not think, and to follow orders. They need to know that they have an obligation to do the right thing, and that we are aware and watching.

  • ranger09

Amazing what these Politicians do with the time we Pay them, They need to spend more time trying to help the Country and its People. But WE just allow them to do their own Garbage and WE do nothing to stop them. Sheep just following the Bell.

  • Bobtimm jr

    American patriot?

It is critical for the socialist attempting to tansform our government, to disarm the people in order to achieve thier mission to turn the U.S. into a socialist nation. Disarming Americans is part of Obama’s agenda. It is unlikely this will happen via our congress., it will most likely occur via a treaty between the U.S. and the U.N. Hilliary Clinton has been feverishly working on this from this angle. I strongly believe that and attempt to disarm the citizens of this country will lead to a civil war. My hope would be that the military will stand up with any resistance groups and take over the government from these zealots. I for one will not give up my firearms with out a fight and am willing to support any movement to over throw the current government, if necessary, to protect my freedoms. It may be time to for the moral free loving americans to take back our country from all the Socialist minded and immoral extremist that are destroying the moral fiber, principles, and family values that built this country into the greatest nation to have existed on this planet.

Dangerous hot air. Best to be prepared. Defeat the bill best by making it clear to the politicians that we do NOT consent to its passage. That way the bill will get no co-sponsors. http://gunowners.org/

  • Richard Walker

Folks, I would just like to give you a little food for thought here. Before I start, please know that I am a former Marine Officer and Phantom Pilot, an ardent supporter of the 2nd amendment, and own my share of guns.

What I have given a lot of thought to lately in light of the re-election (NO mandate by any stretch) is that there will likely come a law restricting our rights and even possibly outlawing handguns and “assault rifles”. I too considered that they will get my guns by prying them from my cold dead fingers. But in really thinking about it, if they come to my house demanding all my guns and ammo (they know I have them and they know where I live), am I really going to have a shootout? I am reasonably certain I will be outnumbered, and even though I am a competent marksman I will eventually run out of ammo or they will get me with an RPG or some such superior firepower and I will die. Part of me says that “better dead than live under such a regime”, but the practical me says better to live to fight another day. I have my guns for self and home protection. The gun control nuts just don’t get the fact that when everyone is disarmed then only the criminals have them,

When seconds count the cops are only minutes away. When a gang of crack addicts break into my home, kill me, and steal everything I have, it is then moot to me that Diane Feinstein got her stupid bill through and took my only means of defense. She ignores the fact that when guns are allowed (and specifically a concealed carry law that requires a course of instruction to get such as the one here in Louisiana) the crime rate goes down. Yes, the odd nut case gets through and gets a gun and kills innocent people with it, but that nut case would have used something else if he couldn’t get a gun. Humans have been killing each other since time began (see Genesis; Cain and Abel). Guns do make it easier, but they are only a tool.

The problem we law abiding gun owners will have when a law banning our guns gets passed is what to do when the government agents come to take them from us. Give them up, or fight? As individuals, we will all die if we fight, and will be declared criminals by the state because we fought. I have thought of hiding my guns, but where? I am sure if I tell them that I lost them or threw them away there will be a provision for that in Feinstein’s law so they can prosecute me and put me in jail, so what is the solution? I really see only two ways. The first is to band together (join the NRA) and with one voice tell our Representatives and Senators they will certainly not get re-elected if they allow such a law to pass. The second would be for the gun rights states to secede from the Union and start a new Republic – good luck with that… it was tried in the 1860′s and we know how that turned out. In the event of an “Executive Order” outlawing guns there must be an immediate response from us and our representatives demanding its negation. Such an order I would be willing to fight to the Supreme Court, and if they found against me I reckon I would have to get proficient with spears, bows, and arrows, as then I would know that this government will do nothing to protect its citizens from predators.

There is no other place in the world I have seen in my travels that is like this country, and the idiot far left progressives (as the communists call themselves these days) are determined to tear it down so that they can steal the wealth created here in the last 200 years and more easily rule the government benefit addicted sheeple. Or did anyone see the “Elite” in the Soviet Union going without while ruling (starving) the masses? Same in North Korea, and I doubt that the “Imams” in Iran are suffering due to our embargos, just the sheeple. Socialism is just another word for “give me what you worked for or I will ________you” (use your imagination). It does not, nor has it EVER worked in the history of mankind. Sooner or later the “elite” will run out of other peoples money and the fiat money they print will become worthless and there will be anarchy or a revolution. I probably won’t be here for that since I’m an old f**t, but I offer this suggestion: Let’s get these products of unwed parents out of office and take back our country. 2014 needs to be like 2010, and a year of conservatives keeping the House and taking over the Senate. 2016 needs to see a conservative in the White House. Anyone on the left that doesn’t agree, and thinks that they will be “taken care of” by the lefties in power is delusional. The “elite” that will rule when anarchy comes is already filled and ordinary lefties will be sheep like the rest of us. “1984″ and “Animal Farm” should be required reading for anyone that registers to vote. They are more relevant now than when they were written.

The Chinese have a curse “May you live in interesting times”. We are certainly doing that.

Mr. Walker, first of all “Semper Fi” and happy 237th birthday! I too have had these same thoughts and have pretty much come to the same conclusions that you have. I hope there are many, many more of us that have similar thoughts and conclusions. We do indeed “live in interesting times”…

Richard – Excellent post. I agree completely.

Exept, you also know that once guns are confiscated, the genocide begins. It seems apparent that this ‘regime’ plans to eliminate all opposition, and we are being set up for that now. If you hand over your guns, you are going to die, anyway…most likely. In a FEMA installation.

I have no answer to this. The sad thing is, we have to wait until they make the ‘first move’. But they’ve been committing assaults and murder on us for a very long time, and we just shake our heads and hope we aren’t next. So how much are we willing to take? Why must we have to wait until troops are in our streets and our people are being slaughtered before we act?

It seem to me that they have fired that first shot long ago. Why is okay for them and not for us to defend ourselves? This is truly insanity. They steal our children, our property, our money… and they persecute us for anything and everything. And then they make it impossible for us to make a living, while demanding payment of taxes which they then use to buy weaponry to turn against us, or to kill people in other countries.

I ask again: how much are we to take before we say ‘enough!’.

And, btw, where are our military heros who are supposedly fighting for our freedom by killing civilians in other lands? Where are they when our own country has been taken over by our REAL enemies?

You certainly spoke the truth here in your post. 1st thing, SEMPER FI marine, and thanks for your service. Secondly, I speak as a former Marine myself, well trained as you well know that we are, and, regardless of the insane laws they pass to take everyones guns away, I have no intention of giving mine up. All I can say, is, come and get em.!!! You’re roght though, that we need to band together. Theres strength in numbers, and thats why they’ve been able to do what they have already. According to some of the media, when dianne introduced this tke our guns bill, she was carrying a gun in her purse at tyhe time. That should show all out there how little worth we have ,if we aren’t part of the elite. They have no thoughts for anyone out here in the rest of the country, because, they know they have unlimited armed guards to protect them and their families, so tough for us.Well, thats fine, they’re wellcome to their feeling and thought as we are to ours. They just forget, we’re not all sheeples. LOL. Have fun, dianne, while it lasts.

    • Munnster

The Mexican drug cartels are already here and control the So Cal drug market and gangs. It may not be reported by the media – shocker! – but I live in So Cal and have family members that are cops and they have seen a huge increase in the cartels influence and reach.

The purpose of the Second Amendment is so people can protect themselves from future government tyranny. They need the tools to do this!

The term “Well Regulated” in the Second Amendment meant “Well Manned and Equipped ” in 1791 as was determined in the 1939 United States v. Miller case after referencing the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The concept of Government Regulation, as we understand it today, did not exist at the time. United States v. Miller also determined that the term “Arms” refers to “Ordinary Military Weapons”. American Citizens have the right to Keep and Bear, which means Own and Carry, any weapons that a soldier carries into battle. That includes past, present and future weapons. The American people still have some work to do with regard to taking back their rights.

I would hate to think the majority of our police and military

  • John Retired Navy

I would hate to think the majority of our police and military would be a part of any gun confiscation deal. I would not put it past Obummer to try and bring in UN troops to do it.

    • Hedgehog

Have no fear John. Check out Article VI of your Constitution. Your Constitution trumps any UN Treaties signed by the US. If the Blue Helmets come to take your guns, it’s OPEN SEASON and NO BAG LIMIT!

    • JeffH

The 2010 NRA estimate is that 40-45% of households in the US have guns and that the total number of Firearms owned by U.S. civilians was approx. 300 million. No doubt those numbers have changed since 2010. Gun sales have increased significantly as well as the number of households that have guns.

      “UN troops”

What UN troops are that? The UN has no troops. Only the member countries, of which we are one, have troops.

      • JeffH

tlgeer, don’t be so naive to think that because the UN doesn’t have a standing army that they don’t oversee and have control of the participating “states” military actions.

International operations are established and implemented by the United Nations itself, with troops serving under UN operational control. UN peacekeepers are often referred to as Blue Berets because of their light blue berets or helmets.

Since 1948, close to 130 nations have contributed military and civilian police personnel to peace operations. While detailed records of all personnel who have served in peacekeeping missions since 1948 are not available, it is estimated that up to one million soldiers, police officers and civilians have served under the UN flag in the last 56 years. As of March 2008, 113 countries were contributing a total 88,862 military observers, police, and troops.

Comprende? “…it is estimated that up to one million soldiers, police officers and civilians have served under the UN flag in the last 56 years”, not the US flag, not the British flag, not the Turkish flag, but under the UN flag.

tigeer, your madddrass educated marxist/socialist and his greasy Sec Of State are trying to fast track the UN gun ban, Which this puke in the WH will use excutive ptivalige on a law, to let the blue helmets wander over here to gather weapons. Just like the Nazis did in EU. Remember the long term meddling of the beltways shlubs who are democrap squirrels who have want only ther government to hold arms.. Don’t you read or do you need your village idoit, that is raising you, read some real history, not the dem union teachers BS bilge you have been forced feed in school.

  • Tom….Infantry Co., Vietnam

History has proven that our military has/will fire on civilians and veterans. (Previously written…WWI military firing on vets demanding promised bonuses)My fear is that the majority of the population will leave the resistance to a small minority. (American Revolution) I believe that most americans will not have the …….. to resist. Most do not believe in weapons nor have any idea which end of a gun the bullet leaves.

  • S Prang

Hedgehog…You better reread Section VI. It says that treaties will be the Law of the Land also.
