Much evidence in history to support the theory that there is little difference. What I have seen is the speed by which we tend toward socialism (and maybe the NWO) The Republican Party in power is slower and more methodical in steering us toward bigger and bigger government.

In recent years first the Republican Party had control of congress and the presidency and then the Democrats had control. The democrats even had super and filibuster proof control of Congress. What did they do. More and more of the same. Fewer freedoms. The “evil” Patriot act was extended and some of its provisions for control strengthened. Bigger government. More war.

The whole left vs right paradigm is the wrong paradigm to be watching. Even the video above mentions the problem. Government. Bigger and bigger government. The video mentions “Corporatism” but fails to emphasize the problem is abuse of government power which is the real problem.

It is not business nor corporations that are the problem. It is government and its size. “corporatism” could not exist without the power of government to force competitors out of business tru regulation.

Even the dreaded “military industrial complex” is only to be feared because of its use of government power to get its agenda.

This is the true problem for US. A government out of the chains of the Constitution which is demonstrating what George Washington warned us about.

“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”

Here is a video that explains the paradigm that we need to pay attention to when dealing with politics.

Lastly the girls comment about wanting to talk about something else is VERY accurate. A lot of my friends who do not appear to be far left wing types often react exactly as she does when I discuss politics either with them or around them.

Long ago, America had two wackos [Gus Hall and Norman Thomas], who ran as candidates for Communists (Hall) and Socialists (Thomas). They bowed out of politics when they decided that ‘Republicans’ and ‘Democrats’ were already doing their job for them. That was enough for me. I believe it, and so I need no one to explain any right/left paradigm. Getting Americans to understand that is THE trick.

I find the best way to see the 2 side paradigm is to simply recognize that the long term agenda spanning 40 years or more (it does back much further, of course) has been consistent in its progress and direction, no matter who has been in office. Point out how free trade advanced equally well under both Dems and Repugnicans as did illegal immigration, PC and so many other subversive policies. If they can see and admit these, then it is hard to deny that both parties must be working together or it could not have happened.

Look this is the simple math equation that anyone can follow,
    1 + 1 = 1 , Now See how easy that is.

Just as there is no such thing as, a Liberal or a Conservative.

Nor is there a differance in any form of “Socilisim,” be it Marxism, or Nazism, or heven forbid, Crony Capitialistism.
All are one in the same.

Until the American public wakes up in real time as well understands that the USA has been under “MARTIAL LAW” for over 150 years.
As well that the very “Constitution & Bill of Rights” that you think is the law of the land is not.
Saddly this insane BS will just keep right on keeping on.
Can anyone say Yellow, Orange or RED ALEART?

It’s Your choice you can wake up NOW and fully understand as well embrace the “TRUTH” that you have lived a total LIE during your whole life.

Or submit to what’s coming, again its your choice.

Keep eating The PROPAGANDA with carrots & pea’s of what is little more than PRETZEL LOGIC.
Or trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

You choose what your level of comfort is it, sleeping only to find yourself living under a bridge soon. Or finding your family in a FEMA Camp where you will become the land fill?

Or Wake up and take back what is your’s and STOP the maddness as it were.
    Again your call?

Bruce-AMEN! People had better wake up or we as a nation will be no better off than slaves were 200 years ago. It will either be another revolution or complete subservience. Wake up U.S.A or we are gonna be in a world of hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!

When government fears the people, there is liberty. When people fear their government, there is tyranny! Something to remember.

It seems silly that you can simplify the world of politics into chocolate and vanilla. If only it were that easy.

Also, politicians (government) don’t live in a vacuum- they are from corporations, and go back to corporations after their terms. Think about who they are helping, serving and funded by. They work hand in hand. The real conflict is between corporations too big to be regulated, and small business, which gets regulated to death!
