Do you have a suggestion for someone suffering from bladder infections?

November 16, 2009 by

Dear Bob,

Do you have a suggestion for someone suffering from bladder infections?

A: Most bladder infections can be eliminated in 24 hours by drinking D-Mannose—one teaspoon full (5 grams) every three to four hours. Buy the powder form at a health food store. (From Nutrition and Healing, October 2007.)

I have never tried the D-Mannose cure. All my bladder infections required medical treatment.

    Preventive action you can take:
Always begin eating yogurt after taking an antibiotic to restock your body with good bacteria which the antibiotic kills off.

Drink plenty of cranberry juices or cranberry blend juices. It will fight off bacteria which causes bladder infections.

My doctor confided that bladder infections were common in newly wedded women who were not stimulated enough to be properly lubricated for intercourse. Lubrication will end that avenue of infection.

If You take bubble bath stop they are notorious for causing them. Also some foods can cause them alot of pop or other beverages that contain alot of sugar. If you have taken tetracycline you can also get a yeast infection from it. I hope that will help you clear it up, drink water everyday a sure way to help the concentration of urine.
