INDIANOLA, Iowa, Sept. 2 (UPI) — Potential presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s speech at a Tea Party rally in Iowa will give a “full throated defense of the Tea Party,” campaign members say.

Details about the former Alaskan governor’s anticipated Saturday speech in Indianola, Iowa, have begun to emerge, ABC News reported.

A source close to Palin’s team told ABC that her speech at Saturday’s “Restoring America” event will be an important and meaningful big-picture vision of America.

ABC News says that Palin’s speech will reference an Aug. 8 Facebook post titled “Conquering the Storm.” about Standard & Poors’ downgrade of the United States credit rating and her solution to the nation’s debt problem.

Palin may also make reference to an Aug. 25 Twitter post in which Palin posted a link to a YouTube video called “Obama Lies 7 Times In Under 2 Minutes!” and then wrote “I’ll be talking about this and more on September 3rd.”

“Regardless of what she decides to do, this rally is for the Tea Party to kick off [the 2012 presidential] campaign,” the source said, adding that she will offer a “full throated defense of the Tea Party.”

Prior to the rally, Palin will for the first time be meeting with the independent supporters’ group Conservatives4Palin in Urbandale, Iowa.
