Dear Federal Government: Go To Hell

September 1, 2011 by

Dear Federal Government: Go To Hell

NOTE: The following was based on a speech given at a freedom rally hosted by State sovereignty advocate and Washington State Representative Matt Shea on Aug. 30.

Almost everyone I know has written a letter to the Federal government. Many of them have contacted their Representatives or Senators at some point. They have emailed, faxed or even called — asking, demanding or just plain begging these politicians to do something or not.

I never have.

Why? Because I believe it is an absurd idea to ask the Federal government to fix problems it created, and that doing so just doesn’t work.

For example, those on the antiwar left got a “peace President” who has bombed Libya and massively expanded the wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Many of those same progressives vehemently opposed the Patriot Act forced upon us by former President George W. Bush and the Republicans. With the Democrats in power, they got more of the same. Again.

For those on the right, the so-called conservative Bush and the Republicans in Congress gave us more Federal control over education with their No Child Left Behind Act. They also laid the groundwork for today’s national healthcare mandates with the largest expansion of Federal control over healthcare in decades: Medicare Part D.

And for everyone, we’ve got the Transportation Security Administration. Because no one, at least no one I know, likes the fact that this particular agency violates the 4th Amendment almost constantly.

So, because of things like these, I’ve always thought it was pointless to write the Feds telling them anything. Until now.

I recently wrote a draft letter to my so-called Representatives in Washington. Before sending it to them, I thought I’d share it with you here to see if you have suggestions or if it meets your approval as is.

Here’s what I came up with:

“Dear Federal government: Go to hell!”

Out Of The Mainstream? Not At All

Start talking 10th Amendment, state sovereignty or — heaven forbid — nullification, and you will immediately find yourself branded as an extremist, a nut job, a radical and out of the mainstream. There’s even a supposedly nasty term for those of us who would dare advance such nutty principles: “Tenther.”

Well, apparently, the American majority is just plain nutty.

A Rasmussen poll released last Friday tells us that “54 percent of Likely U.S. Voters believe that states should have the right to opt out of federal programs they don’t agree with.” In other words, more than half of Americans now embrace the Constitutional concept of State sovereignty.

More telling than this small majority in support of such crazy ideas is the much smaller minority of people opposed to them. Only 31 percent of those polled disagreed and said States should not enjoy the ability to opt out.

Think about that for a moment, because it is significant. Less than one-third of the country opposes our base principle that each State can and should have a unique approach to handling various political issues.

Federalism Rules!

The Founders told us that such a system was not only a good idea, but also in line with the Constitution. They knew that one-size-fits-all solutions would lead to pretty much what we have today: a crumbling economy, liberty eroded and continual violations of the rules given to government.

Today, people everywhere are beginning to recognize a simple truth: What’s right for California is likely not right for Washington State, and what’s right for Idaho is likely not right for Alabama, and so on.

In fact, such a decentralized system (the system the Founders gave us in the Constitution) is the only kind in which people in a huge country like ours — with widely varying political, economic and religious beliefs — can all live peacefully together under a large defense umbrella.

John Adams famously told us that the real American Revolution was not the war for independence. He said:

The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations. … This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people, was the real American Revolution.

Happening Right Now

Even more exciting than this poll is the fact that States around the country are putting this idea into practice.

In 1996, when my home state of California decided to opt out of Federal drug laws by allowing marijuana to be used for medical purposes, it was going it alone. But, soon other States recognized not only their own ability, but the possible benefit of opting out of this particular Federal program. Today, 15 States have done so, and they are increasingly getting away with it.

A few years ago, the American Civil Liberties Union championed State-level opposition to the REAL ID Act of 2005, which required States to follow Federal guidelines in issuing driver’s licenses. Since then, more than half the States have enacted legislation against participation, and all applied for or received extensions by the 2008 deadline.

Here we are six years later and it’s still not fully implemented, because States just won’t do it.

States opting out of Federal programs (at the Tenth Amendment Center, we refer to it as “nullification“) can be a pretty effective strategy. It’s far more effective than “voting the bums out” or writing a letter to Federal politicians, in my opinion.

States’ Rights: Not Just For Liberals

Better yet, this growing States’ rights movement is not just exclusive to progressives and the left. Conservatives have gotten on board with the idea in recent years; and they are becoming more effective with it, too.

A recent Washington Times article said: “All told, 17 states have enacted laws rejecting parts of the Affordable Care Act, according to a report by the National Council of State Legislatures.” And, as tracked by the Tenth Amendment Center, more than 10 states have begun to consider the next step, rejecting (read: nullifying) the entire Affordable Care Act — every word of it.

Going Mainstream

Rasmussen reported: “Support for states’ rights jumps higher when the question involves federally mandated programs with no checks attached. Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters think states should have the right to opt out of such programs if the federal government doesn’t help pay for them. Twenty-one percent (21%) disagree and 16% are undecided.”

What does that mean? Only one in five people believe the States should have to blindly comply with Federal mandates, no matter what. This is certainly good news, and something to build upon. We Tenthers are winning the ideological battle amongst the people.

In the end, it seems to me that Thomas Jefferson’s ideas from the Principles of ’98 have gone mainstream, as they should. He was far more eloquent than I when he wrote, “…the several states composing the United States of America are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government

But, the message remains the same.

“Dear Federal government: Go to hell!”

There are many ways to tell Uncle Scam what the old fart needs to hear, people. Some are willing to follow Uncle Scam blindly “because the old fart loves us and wants what’s best for us and cares so much for us and will give us everything we could possibly want” BUT if we don’t want to follow that old fart he’ll get mad at us. BFD.
I’ve lived long enough to witness some of the dirty, unconstitutional crap the old fart has pulled. He can’t do ANY of those things without the consent of the stinking SOBs we send to Washington.
War has been declared against the American people. One of the old fart’s specialities is in waging undeclared wars. Now, we have roughly 60 socialists in Congress, and we have a prez who wants to give us a utopia – whether we want it or not. Uncle Scam, up yours. Congress, up yours. White House – I can’t say what I have against you, but I’m not the only one, you wacked-out, useful idiot toids.

    • BrotherPatriot

      LoL…S C. Good to see/read ya, mahn.

I agree whole heartedly of course. The saying is…any government strong enough to give you everything you want or need…is strong enough to take everything away from you as well.

A free market, fiscal responsibility, adherence to the Constitution, and limited government are all solid ideas that should be implemented for the benefits of all us American’s. Of course the Tea Party says they represent this and I MOSTLY believe this movement means it. They plus representatives such as Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul and the like are saying these same things that would only help America get back on track. A vote to anyone else…would just give us 4 more years of the same that got us into all these problems to begin with…guaranteed.

However, if we are so fortunate to actually get one of these Constitutional speakers into the Presidency or a simular high positition of power…We the People need to be vigilant on keeping tabs on them. To ensure they live up to their promises.

Something seems to happen to the elected once in office…not sure what that exactly is but often they do just flip flop and become part of the problem. Perhaps they get let in on some super secret, have their family threatend, have an alien graft into their body (lol), a shapeshifter replaces them (lol), or something none of us has actually ever thought of…but whatever that reason is. It’s completely up to us to stay alert and watch what our elected do. I honestly believe that we have become more awakened as a people to what our “leaders” have been doing in this great Nation and with sincerity I hope it’s not to late for us to turn this all around.

Only an informed & educated people has a chance to retain their freedom. It has become increasingly clear that the MSM is not reporting the truths, that our educational system is dumbing us down, that our leaders & the government is not working for the people, that their seems to be a malignant force slowly eroding our rights & freedoms, that the false flag attacks such 9/11 are used as tools to put us further under the out of control governments thumb and that indeed their is an Agenda being followed to destroy the sovereignity of not just America but the rest of the world’s nations in order to create a New World Order.

Watch as these forces try to control the internet, our guns and limit our freedom of speech. They hate our freedoms and its up to us to be aware of all this…to fight back…to put an end to the career politions that are silently controlled by the elitists & banking cartels.

Educate yourselves to these truths and find out what is going on behind the scenes. Tell your friends, your family and never give up. Believe in God (whatever name you call him) and stand strong, my fellow American’s & Patriots of the world. Together we can stop all of this madness but only if we bring it all out into the light.

Here is a fellow that I recommend you learn more of. He’s a great example of someone who is not shuttin up about what is going on in our world.

His name is Nigel Farage. He’s over in Europe fighting the good fight and calling it all as it is. He’s like our Ron Paul but a wee bit more vocal…lol. I sure like him.

God Bless everyone who reads this site and may He help us all see the light.

      • Rggd ones

I do not usually reply to the posts found here,(though I am in lock step with many of you spiritually) but I had to say that your post was most elloquent and well received.

        • BrotherPatriot

          It’s nice to be appreciated…ty.

It’s Bob L’s site…& I definitely appreciate him being here allowing us to banter back & forth on this forum. Not always do we agree…but at least people are thinking for a change and he and his writers are posting stuff for us to debate while we still have the freedom to do so.

God Bless & keep up the good work Michael B. & the rest of the crew here!

      • Mike P

Nigel Farage is my idol. Ron Paul is our hope. God is the answer !

    • 1SG, Retired

Well, S C, I agree with you. We citizens have dozed off, nodding our heads as we fall asleep. The behind the scenes entities that either influence Congress or control them (via $$) have become more and more daring. Guess what? They are getting away with it, too.

Nullification is a powerful, yet mostly forgotten method to control an Out Of Control Federal Government. The balance of power simply must be restored or America will sink into the pit of once great nations. Europe is full of those has been countries.

In the new age of digital communications (just like I’m doing now) it is easy to ignore your constituents back in the Home State. I cannot tell you how many auto response emails I have received from my elected officials. They have an agenda and voters prove that they have given them free rein to do whatever they please. The reelection rate in Washington rarely drops below 90%. Often it is over 95%!

Perhaps our communications should be directed toward the State Capitols, not Washington.

      • The Matt-Man

Well said Top! There are so many folks who obviously mean well, but still don’t vote, don’t carry, and don’t get loud enough. Your idea of calling our state-houses is one of the smartest things I have heard in wuite some time. The States have the power – no matter what the Feds say about it. What will they actually DO about it, after all? Sue the states? You see how well (not) that is working in Arizona and elsewhere… Anyone who has a shred of intelligence, and has read even a little bit of the Constitution that you and I vowed to defend with our lives HAS to see the obvious: The Federal Government is NOT supposed to be over and above the states – so the states are the answer – and always have been

Good on you Top – and nice talking to you man!

Something you might wish to follow up on – I never had the real interest.

I was told that the Congress under FDR back about 1932/33 had a special session called about Christmas. They were supposed to be considering what to do about the gold crisis and the banks failing.

One thing they were supposed to have done is interesting: they declared war on the people of the US – legally in a vote. Then they “surrendered” the country to the US Navy since it is the ONLY group that was set up by the Constitution to stay in existence.

By this act, they placed all the people of the US into the hands of the Navy – and by inference themselves – as war prisoners. Therefore ANY act by the citizens that is NOT in the best interests of the Federal Government (read – themselves) is a revolt of war prisoners that can be acted upon with all harshness desired.

Part of the idea of this was to allow the police and military to arrest and fire upon any crowd that was insisting a bank return their money.

      Something to think about.

      • vicki

really twisted logic there. Lets try logic. Congress declared war on a sovereign people. Congress then surrendered to a legal authority of those people. That would make Congress the war prisoners and not the sovereign people they “declared” war on.

Well all those prisoners died. We can close the prison now.

      • Old Henry

Well 45, if that is true I am sure the communist Muslim Kenyan will avail himself of the power for whatever reason. Probably sooner than later.

        • Kate8

45 – Was this when they brought in maritime law? They superimposed a system over our Constitutional one, but didn’t tell us. By not understanding jurisdiction, we surrendered our sovereign human existence and became a corporate person.

Was this around the time social security numbers were issued? I think so. Social security was not so much to insure a person’s retirement. That was just the carrot. It was to get us numbered and under the new corporate jurisdiction. Essentially a slave to the government.

I remember hearing that later, under Reagan, when they wanted to issue national ID cards to everyone, he refused, saying, “No. That is the mark of the beast!”

Even the flag was changed. The American flag with the gold fringe represents the maritime system. The flag of our Republic does not have gold fringe.

          • Kate8

Oh, and in one of the audios I posted here in the past 2 days, I remember the speaker saying that we have been under martial law since 1935.

I have also heard this before.

      • Zak

That explains why the US flag with the fringe border is seen all over the US of A. It is an admiralty flag, which is prohibited by law from being posted over 100 miles from the ocean. Being controlled by the Navy, and the admiralty, would make sense for it to be in government buildings, etc.

    • Old Henry

Great post s s! LOL! You are in fine form today!

If Uncle Scam the old fart wants to give me everything I want he can just do like the Chesire Cat – and disappear…

War was declared within the power structure of Europe ten minutes after the Constitution was adopted and we have been under attack ever since that day. Most of Europe has already caved and we are now the last leg of Freedom for the world. When we fall the New World Order will emerge and we will be one of several of the center pieces.
We dare not let this happen for all nations will be controlled by the same group who now labors to bring us down.
These I speak of are the CFR and the Trilateral Commission, these are the dupes of the International Banking Cartel who are the real owners of our Federal Reserve System.
For the last 100 years our wealth has been used to promote wars to rob and pillage the other nations of the earth in the quest to unite all nations under one government and monetary system with a select few in power above all.
These are long term plans. Look how long it took to create the banking crisis we are now in. The CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) Jimmy Carter was the tool. First it was used to destroy the Savings and Loan Industry in the 80s. Then under Clinton, by Executive Order, the nations banks were roped into the same CRA structure. Obama was one of the Community Organizer Trainers in Chicago and now his job is to issue the Coup de Graf of this effort which is supposed to be the end of this Nation. This is not a Democrat or Republican plan, both parties are One Worlders, all of them are memebers of the same CFR. This is a World plan.
We can stop this in 2012 as long as we are still viable as a Nation. This is exactly why the raising of the Debt Limit was so vital. Obama needs to completely destroy this country economically, so we will allow our Constitution to be abrogated to a New World Order structure prior to the next election. If we elect a Conservative into the WH and take over the Congress. Slash the Federal Government to 1/4 of its size by abolishing agencies, departments and putting stolen land back into the hands of the States. Revoke the charter of the Federal Reserve and make it over back on the gold standard. We will have driven a stake into the heart of the New World Order and the work they have done for the last 100 years will have been for nought.
This will not be easy and it, no doubt, will have fighting in the streets for Obama and his thugs will not give up power easily. But we must emerge victorious, for we have no other choice….

      • Terry Haney

Yes!! Well put, The end of the banking cartels should be the first order of business.

      • BrotherPatriot

Well! I clapped when I read your post, Al. I was trying really hard not to go off onto my usual tirade about what’s REALLY going on. You went ahead and did it for me anyway…lol.

Once again another speaks out all that I have been ranting about for awhile now.

See guyz…people are doing their own research and waking up to these simple historical truths more & more all the time.

All you have to do is follow the money trail. To learn who is involved with what organization. What is that organization doing & what have they done in the past. What laws have they passed & why are they doing it. Who married who…what is the family tree…and in the end, you learn that indeed…we have a group of banking families that date back centuries, slowly gaining more and more control over the average person’s lives in order to implement their Feudalistic, utopian society where they are the top 1% and the rest of humanity is the cattle below that feeds their every whim.

These people are bankers and with their control of the countries money supply…they slowly down through the years set into laws that gives them more & more power. Just like a chess board that they move their pieces slowly, one at a time down through the years to gain control of the board. This is a very good, accurate metaphor that I & others have used. They teach their children this Agenda & then send them off to colleges such as Stanford, Princeton & Yale (Skull & Bones) only to later take positions of power through out the world to implement their dastardly plan. It sounds surreal but it’s TRUE!

I’m holding myself back. Many of you know that this banking cartel/family is involved with the secret societies that transend nations. But yes, they are indeed camped in the UN, CFR, Trilateral Commission, with the Bilderbergs & all the rest of the variously named organizations. The Rothschild’s, Rockerfeller’s, JP Morgan’s, and Bush’s are examples of these New World Order people and they have done some serious crimes against humanity. They have backed both sides of the wars all the way back to Napolean…go ahead, do your own research to find this truth. Only then will you see the monstrous deeds that they have done & understand why people like me are beginning to scream…FOUL!

They are an infection in the body of humanity and they have been here for a very, very long time. Research who the star families are…see how they intermarry within their own kind to keep the power to themselves…heck, even Prince William & Kate are related…it’s how these “elites” have always done it. Bunch of social degenerates if you ask me. But they are brilliant & they have completely gained control of our legal system, our schooling, our entertainment industry, our media, our government all the way down to even our very town councils. (Remember about the secret society that I hinted at and the fact that they are international! What a great platform to use on us all!)

Wake up brothers & sisters…Al, myself & others are only giving you the tip of the iceberg to begin your own personal research. The rabbit hole goes very deep.

        God Bless.

Romney is a member of CFR, as is Hillary. Hillary, Obama, and Perry attended Bilderberg. Ron Paul and Michelle Bachman, don’t know about Santorum yet….are not participants in any of it. Herman Cain was a
part of the Southern Federal Reserve. Huntsman, I don’t know yet…Article today say Wall Street donors are moving their political contributions to Romney; wierd eh? Not! Perry apparently is not popular with Independents or Democrats. This is only an observation, but I think that in both the GOP and Dems that those in ‘Power” think they know best and are “helping” the people! Fear and Pride have clouded their judgment.Who knows what threats they’ve REALLY been given? I’ve heard of some! Some members of both parties are waking up because they KNOW we’ve had it! Just an observation, we are in a pre-revolutionary state or mindset nationally right now. The pressure has to increase and remain on congress, and much more so at the State level in which you live. I’ve started watching my own state’s house sessions. Shocking. Absolutely shocking. Small groups approaching you local Board of Supervisors and City Council are much better than going individually. Individually, it’s too easy for the locals to make your life miserable if you don’t go as a small group. Mine is all Marxists Progressive and after two years, they are becoming aware of what their regulations and rulings are doing to big and small business owners, workers, and more. They are actually going on our local call-in radio station, and you can hear their disappointment and despair. You see, they really thought they were “helping”! “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”. They have BECOME that which they fought against! Hence the disappointment and despair.By the way (BTW), I appreciate your posts, actually most everyone on here. Thank you Bob L., for giving us interesting articles and a place to vent, share and learn from each other.

      • pcanon

Well done! I would only add that they have enacted legal contingencies (executive orders) that allow them to grasp full power under any circumstance. Bush passed a law that allows the president to become dictator in the next “emergency”.

I think one of the key issues of the day is the fact that they have the power to both create and declare emergencies. 9/11 is a case in point, as ample evidence, some of which was even reported in the mainstream press soon after the event, points toward vast discrepancies between the real events of 9/11 and the narrative given to us by our government. Since that time, anyone who even dares to ask questions is labeled “crazy”. This certainly precludes broad awareness or even dialogue.

Another example of a questionable “crisis” – this generated out of the UN – was the swine flu “pandemic”. the WHO actually changed the definition of pandemic in order to declare the swine flu a public health threat. This was done for profit and power, not out of fear for our safety. Now, they are using whooping cough to scare the public. these scares are a gold mine for the vaccine manufacturers – and that is probably all they are intended to be.

I worry that they (the feds and those who guide them) will create some new pretext – another “terrorist” attack within the US, perhaps – that will lead us to real trouble. The Defense Department is eager for a new military draft in this country. They want our nation to be totally engaged in their imperialist mission for the new world order.

This tendency within the American mind – to believe whatever our leaders tell us – is so very dangerous. I heard more than one reporter from within Libya – foreign reporters not traveling embedded – say they actually received verbal death threats from CNN people. Sounds outrageous, but it’s not. so, who is working within CNN, one wonders? This level of censorship, this determination to contain and control the news, is difficult for Americans to imagine.

The Western ruling elite holds the American public in great contempt. They think we will believe anything. It is time for us to take our minds back and challenge every word that issues forth from higher levels. These people hold all the cards and will stop at nothing. Conning us is their entertainment; profiting by us is their mission. Resistance should be ours.

“What so-ever a man sowth, that shall he also reap”! Wake up America and stop blaming DC, pres. congress etc: You, the electorate, continue to elect the same boondoggling, nimcompoops, who year do as they please, inspite of public mandates. You leave them there until they forget what it means to work for a living and become corrupt. Clean house, elect a complete new congress, a new pres. ad allow neither to remain more than four-six years!! Dire times require drastic measures.! Elect some blue-collar workers, small business owners, farmers, etc. NO LAWYERS ALLOWED!!( reda what Jesus had to say about lawyers in the Book of Mattew!) Have you ever known a lawyer to pass a law that would downsize his wallet!

Rise up all from your doldrums, tale back your prrecious freedoms. Make some noise and as you rattle your sabres, you just might find your entire neighborhood is alongside rattling theirs. All revivals and revolutions have begun with one or two, who were passionate enough to make themselves heard regardless of the consequences.

      Times they are a wasting!!

      • OB1

I agree. Thatis why I like Ron Paul waaaaaay more than Michelle Bachmann! She is a laywer! Has the US ever had a President that is a doctor? This country is so sick it needs a doctor!

        • moonbeam

Used to like Bachmann until I grew tired of the gaffes she continually makes with her mouth. As I posted in another thread on here, we can’t ignore these mistakes she insists on making. Elect her as president and we will rue the day. That’s when hindsight 20/20 kicks in and we look back saying “How did we let this happen?”

Do your research people and think deep before you leap. This business of voting straight party lines and “just because…” is destructive.

Vote for Perry and you will get the same garbage. Did research on him and within 5 minutes gave him a big and sore thumbs DOWN. He is WRONG for this country.

          • Mike P

You have done your research and have come to the same conclusion as I.

One more thing, however, should be mentioned. The absolutely destructive ” two party system “. It tends to pit one side against the other thereby destroying real social unity. What we, in truth, have today is a one party system with two franchises that are bought and paid for by the same evil cabal of bankers and corporations. We now exist in The Fascist States of America.

            God help us, I pray.

That is just what I have been thinking, Federal Government go to Hell!!!

    • Janice M Cullen RE Broker

Your kidding right??? Are you a terrorist,do you want to tear down what it is you say you believe in, ie freedom. Or are you just a lamb following the rest of the sheep. To change what is going on if you do not like it is a true freedom. Where do you live, Russia, Iran China, Korea, oh, sorry, can not be one of those and many other, countries, as they do not have the very freedom you exercize by voicing your opinion. I also believe change is what we need. Not blind distruction. You have a plan of what you want instead, and how to implament it. Or are you just about whining about the past.If you are serious get your head out of where the sun does not shine and do something constructive about. Being a fool is never constructive!

    • 1776

I find it quit ironic that Mr. Obama being Black has Taken so many rights away from the Blacks, he has doubled their un-employment rate, Done some pretty nasty things towards the Blacks – But they still are going to VOTE for him – just because he is BLACK, If he gets elected again – you watch all of the rights that you will LOSE, including writing derogatory comments about him – you Will go to Jail Or Prison for we will no longer have freedom of speech, and our other Liberty’s will also be taken away if he is elected – Just Watch

  • Proe Graphique

At the risk of sounding to be over-simplifying a sometimes complex problem, the issue isn’t them – the politicians and those who embolden their abstract ambitions – the issue is us.

They are behaving exactly the way you would expect the kind of power-seekers who run for office to behave when the people act subservient to them and allow those politicians to run amok; like wild, irresponsible, spoiled and arrogant children.

We give them that power by only scolding them at election time. When we write letters, our behavior is subservient because the structure that has been allowed to grow now allows them to ignore our individual concerns and only address the larger ones the media deems worthy of attention – and the media is controlled by the left.

However, as the Tea Party has shown, there is a power in grassroots activism that communicates to fellow citizens. Now comes the pitch, but I hope Personal Liberty Digest and Bob Livingston will allow it: We have a site, acknowledged by World Net Daily (with interviews with the likes of Jerome Corsi) that is about one thing and one thing only: working together on a grassroots basis to do the job the media refuses to do: get the word out to our fellow citizens about the kind of problems Liberty Digest reports on:

Please join with us and also continue to support Liberty Digest, one of the only truly rational, truly conservative websites on the planet. Thank you, Bob Livingston; you’re a hero.

They have no idea what they are doing and leading us all down the drain. The leaders of the tea party have goals of their own. They maybe for them and not the country

        • Average Joe Patriot

Not to worry, Fisherman. You and those like you didn’t put anyone anywhere. The election system is completely rigged from start to finish, and the political system is entirely rigged from start to finish. The power you DO have lies in the Second Amendment, not the Tenth. I’m not suggesting that you go out and shoot people you disagree with, but that potential is precisely what keeps otherwise uncontrollable people in line. These ARE people, we’re talking about. Not “government,” simply people much like ourselves.

They have been converted by other people (you’d never recognize their names or faces) into tools. You cannot demolish a structure by destroying the tools used to build it. And it must be born in mind that you CAN (albeit clumsily) hammer a nail with a saw, or cut through wood with a hammer. Politically, if our existing tools (the likes of Bush, Obama, whomever) were not available to those who actually run things, they’d simply find another tool.

Our job and duty to ourselves and our progeny is simply this: to become our own tools. If I had to be reincarnated as a tool, I’d want to be a Leatherman. If all those slots were taken, a Swiss Army knife. Plan C would be your basic kitchen butter knife (I’ve accomplished uncountable things with silverware, and so have you, I bet).

But, like the man said, you can’t vote (even with a kitchen knife) for someone (or write or call them) and get them to fix what they are hell-bent on breaking, or stop what they are hell-bent on doing. This is the equivalent of sending a registered letter to your rapist.

You are so right! I am glad to see someone who realizes that we put them where they are and we have to change it. But please, not with the Tea party! They are not intrested in us, the normal everyday folks, but in making a name for themselves even when it hurts those little people who are the backbone of this country!Surly we all want to preserve ur freedoms, not tear them down and sit back and cackle about how wonderful we are!

    • Patriot1776

Well said Proe. The problem truly does lie with the people. The true revolution for liberty is in the hearts and minds of the people. That is how we were able to have and keep our liberty for 70+ years after the revolution. until the war between the States started the end of self government, and the began the encroachment of the Federal government into the matters of the States, and their people. It’s truly ironic that slavery was effectually ended for one race of people after the war, but in effect paved the way for the enslavement of every race in the end. But I digress. Anyway, the fight for liberty cannot be won through the election process……it must be the main object in the hearts and minds of the people. Until then we will get the government we deserve.

The good news is it;s turned out to be a lot of fun, so please jump in!

Obots are not allowed at ObamaFake, so you can speak freely and be “as conservative” as you want because no one will give you a hard time about it there. not ever.

        • Janice M Cullen RE Broker

obomafake??? We put him there we made that possible, you think name calling will change that?? Concentrate on the change you say you want, which never never comes from name calling. That is for children!

          • Proe Graphique

I have no idea where on earth you’re coming from, seriously.

You say, “Change, yes, but not with the tea party?” What do you think was responsible for the 2012 republican landslide?! Okay, some of the tea party leaders are coming from that “pancake-breakfast, timid, glad-hand crowd”, but the overall tea party contingent is dutifully Constitution-oriented and they mean business. What on earth are you talking about realistically?

And you say “‘Obamafake’, no name calling?” What are you doing, trying to protect him? As awful as it is, name-calling works. The reverse, as an example of how gentility kills us in a rough-and-tumble juvenile media playground of coolness and mockery is Bob Dole refusing to call out Clinton for his character after Lewibnski – and character is absolutely an issue for an executive leader – and Clinton ate him for lunch. McCain called Obama an honorable man while Obama gave him the finger. Result? Obama won. These are the facts. This is how it works. Period. There are no other proven rules to winning the game.

You’re in a dream world. Politics is a rough business and people play dirty and if we want to restore America, we better learn to play to win. By stooping to their level we don’t make ourselves like the enemy, we simply beat then at their own game. What if in WWII we never dropped the bomb on japan – twice – and instead said, “Oh no! A surprise bombing is what they did at Pearl Harbor! Goodness, we don’t want to be like them!” We would be living under a different flag today – literally. This is crazy.

Gentility in the face of devastating attack is a loser; “nice guys finish last” is true. Match them point-for-point and then raise the stakes once in a while. It sounds to me like you don’t have the fortitude for the fight as it needs to be fought. However, in the spirit of fair play i will ask you this: name one time when taking the high road in the face of dirty politics got us a winner? The answer is “never”, and left has learned it; the gentility of Carter and Mondale is over. These people play dirty, now. Get with the program and stop turning us into a bunch of losers, because this time around we cannot afford it. Thanks.

            Along the same lines

has a new column you’ll just love: in response to the left calling the right-wing “trailer trash” to the point that Googling images under that term gets you pictures of savvy and beautiful Sarah Palin, whom liberals have so-designated because they hate her, Obamafake does a graphic analysis to determine if by the liberal’s own standard, whether or not Barack and Michelle Obama are also, “Trailer Trash”.

This is how you win in politics. It is how it has always been and it’s probably how it always will be. It isn’t pretty, but neither is the European socialization of America which will lead to millions if untimely deaths because of limited medical coverage. If you don’t want to be one of them you better get with the program.

Politics is a dirty game. Be prepared to play or don’t, but don’t try to keep your white blouse clean in the process, because people who do that only get in the way of everyone else fighting for victory. This mamby-pamby, “Ooh we need to set the nice example” when it also causes us to lose over and over and over makes me so sick I could spit nails. Enough!

Good job!. Let’s practice on this one. And yes, it is fun. Please keep repeating this. Still learning even though I do this in my work. Aye, Aye! I agree! I stumbled upon this site in December of last year. Oh my! How my life has changed! On your post, we need a few websites in case one gets shut down. After the fraudulent elctions in Iran (where our current Presendent said virtually NOTHING about the horrors and protest of the majority of people in IRAN were being tormented, killed, imprisoned and sooooo much more by their Mullah and (our pres and Hillary are really POS’s) and the current house arrest of the really lawfully elected candidate, Musavi. Their movement is called the Green Movement. The first thing the government did was shut doen the internet. Then, they confiscated all sattelite dishes. Godd bless American citizens, an anonymous person started a campaign to collect thumb drives and kept them connected. Most of the population of Iran is 30 somethings and under. They hate the majlis (congress) and
I’m a dinner jacket (Acmadinijad)(sp?). Israel know this. That is why they will not yet take out the nuclear plants. The Iranian people are NOT the problem at all
! They are highly educated and very are and councious of the free worl, which they want! They HATE Kameni and the mullahs! Ron Paul is the only candidate I know of who friken even knows this! These people would never fall for Shar’ia law and the Muslim Brotherhood!
Never ever! So, they don;t quite fit in with Obama and the NWO plan to control the shipping lines in the gulf and Middle east! The freedom loving craving Iranians are a cause for HOPE! I will tell you this, they will Never give up! Face it, we have no plan to continue communications in case the internet gets more censored! Please learn from these brave Iranian people! They have no weapons except their love for freedom, and they are committed and quite passionate about it. There hash tag on Twitter was #iranelection. Haven’t been on there for awhile. Go to Utube and look at the videos of women in burkas and hajibs fighting the Basajs (local paid thugs) and the Revolutionary guard! They fought and put themselves in front of men and even children and they fought like tigers! MANY OF THESE WERE KILLED AND IMPRISONED.The “morality” police watch them at all times (Basijis). Perhaps the proper approach would be right now, to form small groups to go together to City council and Board of Supervisor meetings. Going alone allows you to be discredited and pecked off to easily. Or, economically they just make your life hell. You know, just thinking…maybe Bob L needs to set up a Twitter account…that would be an idea…

      • Proe Graphique

There is much to this. The original ObamaFake website, which consisted of nothing but entirely legal material across the board, was hacked, taken down and suspended with no explanation whatsoever given by the host. This is for real. Go to and ask the regulars on any comment thread there. Some of them saw it all, including getting no answers from the host when they e-mailed to find out why.

These people on the left in power take their cues from bloody communist revolutionaries like Che Rivera. That’s not hyperbole, that is grounded, level-headed historical fact. Knocking out half the internet when the time came would mean nothing to these people if they felt they could win their ideological game. They’re really monsters in many ways. Fight back now as hard as you can and get you contact info together so you can get back up and running as quickly as possible if you do take a hit. No joke. I know. I went through it. For real. Ask some of the regulars at ObamaFake.

Michael, You are speaking my language! only better than i can. I have been trying to get people to see that we need to focus on the State level for a long time…..exactly for the reasons, and more, that you cited above. Thank God you have been made a contributor here, and keep up the fight! I’m all in.

    • Papa

Time after time, year after year I’ve tried to get people to WAKE UP to the fact that “The States” created the federal government to serve THEIR purpose, and it is NOT RESPONSIVE to “We the People” because it is NOT OUR AGENT!

Go to your STATE Representatives and demand that THEY CONTROL THEIR CREATURE or we’ll toss THEM out on the street!

When you or I speak, no one in Washington listens. When a STATE speaks they pay attention…

      • DaveH

We also need to abolish the 17th Amendment which allowed Senators to be loyal to the Federal Government instead of the State Government as was originally intended by the Founders. Our wise forefathers tried to set up checks and balances to keep the Power Seekers from succeeding. One of them was to divide Congress into two bodies, the House of Representatives (which represented the people), and the Congress (which represented the states). That was thwarted with the 17th Amendment in 1913 by the power-seeking Federal Government of Woodrow Wilson, who also were responsible for passing the Federal Reserve Act, and the 16th Amendment (income taxes). All three actions effectively garnered much more power for the Federal Government.

        • DaveH

That should have been “and the Senate (which represented the states)”.

          • Jana

That is a very valid point, and a great suggestion.

        • BrotherPatriot

          Agreed, brother.

We need to readress the Admendments and see who or what organization it was that got them pushed into being…what was their political motivations & who benefited at the expense of the people. At the very least they need to be clarified along with some things in the very Constitution that most of us believe is the highest law of the land. (It’s supposed to be!!!) From my understanding the Constitution says that the President must come from TWO citizen parents! Kick Obummer the puppet of George Soros & the rest of the New World Order out of office…no need to impeach…just Nullify the inelligable pretender and remove him from office NOW! (But I think that is asking to much from our current congress as they haven’t been serving the people now for a very long time.) As a matter of fact, Congress itself needs to be addressed. They shouldn’t be allowed to serve one term and then collect benefits for life, actually after they serve they shouldn’t collect anything at all, imho. They shouldn’t have their own healthcare package, they should have the laws that apply to the rest of the citizens also apply to them! They vote pay increases for themselves even when the rest of the nation is in a recession! Seriously….WTF are we letting them get away with!

Any Admendments found to be unConstitutional should immediately nullified by the states. This of course includes the Federal INCOME TAX! (for example)

Ok…I’m getting heated up and trying really hard not to go into my usual rant about what REALLY is going on & who is behind it all. I think many of you know what I’m referring to…but once again…once you look at the whole equation through the lense I speak of it’s only then do things really start making sense.

Anyway, God Bless America & the rest of the true Patriots of the world who are fighting the good fight.

          Yol Bolsun!

          • DaveH

I would like to see our country get away from non-cash benefits, period. Especially for the Politicians and Government workers, who supposedly are our employees. People should voluntarily contract to purchase their own benefits. It would be a lot easier that way for the taxpayers to know just exactly how much the public sector is costing us.

          • BrotherPatriot

            Once again…Agreed, DaveH.

They serve the people & they shouldn’t be able to hide the benefits. They also shouldn’t receive more than the public sector that they work for…of course high positions have some benefits but those benefits shouldn’t be hidden…this leads into corruption.

A definite check & balance is needed. Everything has just gotten to far out of hand & has been so for a very long time.

I believe that if we just be honest & reveal the truth…about everything, the public will indeed be shocked by many things…but we’ll adapt & survive.

That’s the very definition of being an American. Live in the light, America! (Now wouldn’t that be a novelty.) :)

            God Bless.

        • Currahee

Amen man, I’ve been preaching that for years…that and that the Founders of our Great Nation never intended for the President to be as important to the Country as he has become. It was intended for the local and state officials to be more important to us than the Federal level, but of course how many people in our country knows a thing about their mayor, city/county councilmembers, treasurers or anyone else they vote for based on the R or D next to their name and think nothing more about it? It’s sad, and also a good reason why voting was a priviledge and not a right.

Some of the comments show disgust with the current gang of criminals in the White House and rightly so, but the top contenders on the Republican side will be more of the same crap.

Most folks are too stupid to listen to Ron Paul so we have this constant circle going which isn’t about to change.

I blame the apethetic american sheep. They keep supporting the “Republicrats” who perpetuate Federal tyranny.

They ARE listening to RP, that’s a problem for both sides. Even now the news is focused on Bilderberg Perry or obamacare Romney. However, obama is not going down without throwing his tantrum in the next year.

OTOH the more states use their rights, obama loses, but what happens (if) after the next election? I think RP could sort it out but could any one else?

    • DaveH

It’s not that they’re too stupid to listen to Ron Paul. The MSM isn’t giving them the chance to listen to Ron Paul. Of course the argument could be made that they’re too stupid to quit listening to the MSM.

      • moonbeam

You’re wrong there, Janice. Ron Paul may be republican but he is neither owned by nor ruled by anyone. His platform is based strictly on the constitution and has not wavered from that the 30 plus years he’s been in government.

Start posting “RonPaul2012″ on Yahoo, Google and lib and conserv websites. I do it. Not telling you what you can do. I really like posting this on Perry Fox and AP articles (this is an anonomous Texan’s quote (I’m starting to really respect those Texans (just not Perry!:

I am a native Texan and here are a few things about Rick Perry:
Thanks to Perry the schools here are ranked 47th and there is a multi-billion dollar deficit (approximately $4-billion) in the state’s educational system that his policies created. He was warned by the then Republican State Comptroller 5-years ago that his tax cuts were going to cause the problem that Texas schools are going through right now. Most local school districts are facing huge budget deficits some in the multi-million dollar range and are laying off staff and teachers just to cover these shortfalls.
There is a looming $27-billion deficit due next year for the state’s budget that is not being talked about nationally but we in Texas are painfully aware of it. Perry took $6.4-billion in stimulus money from the Federal Government to help pay this years state deficit. This and the redirection of the $4-billion from Texas education funds allowed the $9.1-billion State Rainy Day Fund, that Rick Perry controls, to go untouched.
Please take the time to read the article “Perry Mines Texas System to Raise Cash for Campaigns” in the New York Times, published August 20, 2011. It makes for some very interesting reading.
As for job creation here in Texas, take a long look at the types of jobs that Perry claims to have created. For the most part these hare minimum wage or lower jobs and many are part-time. Companies are moving to Texas because of tax breaks and because Texas is a right-to-work state. He is not creating new jobs merely shifting jobs from other states. Also look at the number of communities appearing on the 100 poorest cities in the USA. Thirty-five of the 100 are located here in Texas.
He tried to take private land here through eminent domain so that a Spanish company, Cintra could build the Trans-Texas Corridor, a super transportation system that has since been canceled when a number if issues arose about the project. More and more of the new highways build here in Texas are toll-roads, one the latest is the State Highway 121 project in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, another controversial tollroad project involving Cintra. Cintra would have the right to collect tolls on the road for 50-years. A lot of questions were raised when it came out that the North Texas Tollway Authority was preventing from bidding on this project. A number of unanswered questions about Perry’s relationship with Cintra are surfacing now and I am sure will require answers during the presidential campaign.
He also signed an executive order that would have pushed a program to require 6th grade school girls be vaccinated with a very controversial drug (Gardasil) to protect against Human Papillomavirus or HPV created by Merck which is intended to prevent cervical cancer in sexually active females. A lot of questions were raised about his motives and he dropped his push for the program when those questions became too controversial. Again, a lot of these questions centered on his financial relationship with Merck.
Questions have arisen about Perry’s actions surrounding the execution of Cameron Todd Willingham in 2004. Willingham was convicted of murder but new questions about the evidence collection and methodology used in analyzing this evidence that led to his conviction came out shortly before his execution. Perry could have requested a 30-day stay-of-execution that would have allowed this new evidence be reviewed. Perry went ahead and allowed the execution to take place. When the state forensic science commission began to review the case Perry dismissed the chairman and replaced three members of this commission. As a result, to date, no review has taken place.
These are just a few issues that are being raised during the vetting process and it is doubtful that he will be able to survive the scrutiny of the national press. As we in Texas have found out, Rick Perry is not who he purports to be. Please take the time to really learn about him before you make up your mind.

the state needs to go to hrll first

  • dan

    to whom this may concern,
your comments along with those who support your view are absolutely absurd! The Good Lord put this government in place, as John1:1 state all things are created by God, all is all inclusive in God’s kingdom of faith, so quite your winning, and put your faith , and trust in god!He specifically states he owns the cattle on the hill,In other words, all creation belongs to Him,Period. get a life, and get on with it!

    • Bayou Castine

Dear Dan, I must inform you that you are mistaken. The Lord did not put what passes for our current GOVERNMENT in place. The ‘system’ we currently have does not and has not followed our Constitution.

PS: In this blog the discussion is about government, how we as citizens govern [or not] ourselves. It is not cattle and land.

      • Jana

        Bayou Castine,
Thank you. You are so right.
God did put our Government in place as he inspired our great forefathers to do what they did, but he allowed us through our own greed and ignorance to allow it to morph into what it is. We do have free will, and God does not force us to do things His way. He shows us what is True and Right, but allows us to make our own decisions. A lot of our decisions have certainly been very bad and wrong not only for our country, but for ourselves.

        • Kate8

God also makes it clear what kind of government we will get if we turn against His Ways.

And he cautions against putting in leaders of youth, as they have no wisdom, and those of no nobility (the low-born).

Fortunately, He tells us that these evil men in high places will be thrown down, in His Timing.

Returning to His Ways would make this an easier process than what we have coming, I’d think. But alas, “woe, woe, woe unto those who call good evil, and evil, good.”

          • Rayfrid

Kate, you’re right. One of the ways that God deals with sinners is He lets them wallow in their sin for a period of time. That time of our corrupt national government is coming to a close. End result won’t be pretty if the American people must wage Civil War number two in order to end the federal corruption! Texas and Vermont are al least two states that have began toying around with the idea of succession.

      • Angel Wannabe

Bayou Castine, God May have not placed the current administration in power, but at 55 I’ve found out God DOES LET SOME THINGS STAND AS THEY ARE and remove them_ in “His “time not ours.

    • Alex

Rev. Dan, this issue shouldn’t be decided according to a fanatical religious stance. God DID put this government here, but he put a government here that we the people have the right and authority to limit, restrict, and put down if necessary. The Constitution is a document of “love your neighbor as yourself.” It is designed to protect freedom, to see to the common defense of our country, and to establish justice against the wicked.

When folks like you start making statements like what you just made, what you’re doing is making it more difficult to witness effectively to people who need Christ. It’s as bad as standing on a street corner telling college kids that they’re going to hell.

Just shut up if that’s the best religious advice you can offer, because you make the rest of us Christians look like nut jobs.

      • Fed up

Hey, good post Alex! I like the way your brain works. You might not see a lot of posts by me and it’s not because I don’t have an opinion, I’m just not as good as some of you are in putting them into words. What do know is this progression of liberalism and socialism in the past many years as been deceptively and deliberately grown and now is a deadly cancer to our freedoms and way of life that we Christian conservatives have cherished our entire lives and began to take for granted that it was indestructible and now I see how precious and delicate it can be. As the saying goes “You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone”. I could just sit back at my age which is only the mid 50′s and live through the beginning of the end per-se because it won’t effect me as much as younger people coming up behind that don’t know what they had to start with. If I said that right. But some of those younger people are my family and friends and I’ll fight for them at this point because of the love I have for them and my country that I served and swore to uphold the constitution, liberties and freedoms through my services in the military. I’M NOT DEAD YET AND I’M NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

        • Kate8

Fed up – I’d say that you have a very good way with words.

The thing is, what’s coming will affect everyone alive today. In fact, most prognosticators are telling us that this month of September is going to be a rough one, with some major events happening on many levels.

I have this very uneasy feeling that there isn’t going to be another election, and that Obama is in for the duration. Considering his approval ratings, I expect dire measures are planned.

Here is an audio you might want to check out. It speaks of events coming in our imminent future.

          • Angel Wannabe

Kate8, I’ve been concerned about the “next” election (if there is one)as well. I don’t like the fact Bam Bam is now willing to discuss Our lack of “JOBS” now either. I said to the old man this morning, “You watch, Bam Bam is going to be become the King of Comprimise, or the king of swing, just get get his azz re-elected. If he gets re-elected all h*lls gonna break loose. __That is in fact “If” there is another election??!_-Besides the ones who count the votes always win?!!

          • Alex

There will be another election. People in the United States may not always be too terribly bright, but they aren’t blind, and many of them are armed.

Caesar crossed the Rubicon. Caesar declared himself dictator for life. And then Caesar got stabbed to death for trying to make himself a king. Obama brought home a standing army, but that’s as far as he’s going to get. We have the right to keep and bear arms so we can fight back when Augustus walks into the Senate house with soldiers and swords and says that either they were going to make him consul or the soldiers and swords would. Obama will find himself facing similar obstacles if he has the gall to try something as outlandish as staying in office without an election, or trying to stay in permanently in violation of the constitution.

          • Kate8

Alex – If you had listened to the audio, you’d understand why I said that.

    • Ret

Sorry, am confused, not sure I understand what “quite your winning” is. Also, always thought there was something about free will??? If we are to do nothing, good! I’ll keep my money and not help those less fortunate, I’ll quit voting, I’ll quit taking a bath so I can save water and soap, I’ll quit working and just steal what I need. If it’s all done by god, why should I do a damn thing? Oh, perhaps because I’ll be damned? But then again, that’s already been decided as well, right?

I will say, however, right on regarding the article. it is excellent, and I’ll join that ‘go to hell’ group as my sole effort of the day. Oh Dan, if you don’t know the difference between sole and soul, why not look it up. : )

      • Jana

Not only is it not sole it is soul, the word is Whining, which means to complain or cry. Winning means to succeed or prevail. So to tell us to quit our winning, that is what we are fighting for, to be victorious.
I know this is petty as we all know what he meant, but his message was wrong.
        You and Alex are right.

    • Rosebud

I don’t think God expects us to follow a corrupt government. We are Christians, but being Christian don’t mean stupid. I ask you what would be the purpose for Christians to allow a corrupt, humanist, ungodly government to continue? It would only serve to lead people away. We, as Christians, are to fight corruption, ungodliness. Our corrupt government has repealed many laws that were rooted in the Bible. Our government can be bought and sold to the highest bidder. God, I feel expects his people to clean up the mess. God expects us to turn back to his laws, his wisdom, humble ourselves…go back to his Word. 2Chronicles 7:14

We have allowed a corrupt people to take the helm of this country by not following his Word. God told us not to become a part of this world, yet our corrupt government has brought the world to us…and you can see what that has brought…..a pagan, humanist, ungodly Babylonian society.

We have “honored” a health organization that’s sole goal is profit. We’ve allowed a money system to control our lives. We’ve allowed people to steal the fruits of our labor through monstrous income taxes…etc. They’re stealing our blessings, our birthright. We should have been good shepherds of our inheritance, but we’ve allowed because of forced “political correctness” to be beat down.

We as God’s servants have been patient, obedient to a fault. Now it’s time to turn things around…be followers of God, not followers of corrupt men. I know this won’t happen in my lifetime, but the time is nigh, the people must act now. We must “hold down the fort” until God returns.

Reply to Rev. Dan…..Rev. Dan, God also gave us the ability to protect ourselves through state sovereignty if case the federal laws try to restrict or control our freedom of religion and well as other freedoms we enjoy. If the federal government knows our states will utilized our state sovereignty, it will be more careful in violating religious rights as well as other rights. The federal government has grown in power because we have not exercised our state rights.

I agree! And we should start with the idiots who are too dumb to vote with any responsibility, intelligence, or ethics.

      • OB1

Alex, so many are not stupid but ignorant; there is a big difference. What do you expect with public schools, a crap ass education, lack of media coverage, for many inner city people lack of information, internet and involvement from outside these communities? Stupidity is forgivable and fortunately, correctable. And in the process we learn too how ridicules is the urban and sometimes rural Government Plantation. Many people in our government starting with Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society have fallen victim to predatory governments dependency. And please consider that the media has has a big part in this. When the Feds initiated the DNC (Do Not Call) list, newspapers started loosing circlation, which started the exodus of advertisers that had been the life blood of a free press. The the unions put the pressure on just like they did in the auto industry. We no longer have a free press. I can’t tell you how many circulation directors I worked with said, &&88! you don’t know what it is like for us! We are not even asked to come to meetings anymore! The editorial writers and others are so afraid of being fired if they don’t accomodate the unions, the AP and the UPI they will loose their jobs!
Please at least consider the fact that many of the folks you call stupid voters are really ignorant and have little or no access to free information or outside influence. And to be honest, there are places in Atlanta that even I will not go.

My concern is once the Republicans take over in 2012 how many folks here will be happy to give the feds all the power they want; and we’ll get more of the same such as pre-emtive wars, DHS, Medicare part D, and the Patriot Act.

    • Alex

I’m never happy to give them anything. I don’t approve of what they’ve taken. And I won’t be happy to let them take more.

But what can any one person do by themselves while the rest of the country squabbles over nonsense? I opposed the Patriot Act as a blatant violation of my Constitutional freedom, but it passed anyway. I opposed the health care act, but it passed anyway. I oppose all gun control laws (barring only a VERY select few for the public safety), but they are passed anyway.

Most recently, I ardently oppose the new super committee, or super congress, or whatever they’re calling it. It ticks me off right down to my toes that they have taken away my representation in matters of taxation. I asked my district Rep. about it, and he’s furious about it as well. This new committee gets to meet and discuss tax increases, spending cuts, etc., but without my State Representatives.

It’s done against my will, regardless of my political leanings.

      • DaveH

Congressmen seem increasingly willing to pass off their legislative obligations to others. Seems they don’t want to do their jobs. So let’s give them what they wish for and boot all of their raggedy butts (those who voted for S.365) out of office in 2012.
For the House of Representatives vote on S.365:

Don’t let the bill title “To make a technical amendment to the Education Sciences Reform Act of 2002″ fool you. This was the bill that created the Super-Committee and raised the debt ceiling.

        • 45caliber

I definately agree about them passing off their legislative powers!

It ticks me off to see them pass bills that authorize something like Oblamacare and then state that some agency will create all the “regulations” (read “laws”) that everyone must follow. They won’t write those laws themselves. Then when you hit up your Rep. or Senator about it, his answer is, “I didn’t mean for them to do it that way but it’s too late now to do anything about it.”

        • OB1

DaveH, I’m still pi$$%& off that Allen West and Michelle Bachmann voted for the Patriot Act Extension. Mike Lee of Utah, Ron Paul and many others did not! I am Pi$$%& off that Perry delayed the voted on taking power away from the TSA when the majority of Texas’ congress had it nailed! I’ve learned alot from you. We are going to have to come at this from the state level. In my work, how can I encourage anybody if I do not have the knowledge or where with all to do it myself? Cra&&, it always seems like in my little space that I have to go first. Keep it up Dave. Maybe we all are finally getting somewhere, and somewhere is DEFINITELY better than NOWHERE.

I do not think so, because the GOP listens and is much more receptive if they get enough pressure. The democrats, on the other hand, listen to nothing and are all about “total control”, over all of us. So please vote Republican in the next election. At the very least, it will hold the Beast off, until we can install a real Constitutional Government. I do not at this time understand why anyone could be dumb enough to vote for a Democrat, given what they have been up to recently and will do more of in the future. The Democratic Party has succumbed to Socialism and or, COmmunism. Control Freaks is what they are.

      • DaveH

I think you’re right, Lost, that the Republicans seem to be more malleable, but is that what we really want – Chameleons who will change their colors to whatever keeps them in office? Wouldn’t it be better to elect people who are Liberty lovers and Constitutionalists from the get-go?
        Vote Libertarian!

        • Alex

I’ll settle for someone who will change their views when the people tell them what their views should be (since their job is to represent us, not their own opinion), but a libertarian would be my preference.

    • KAB

I think we should all think about what will/would happen in an ideal election outcome:

      RP is elected president.
The congress and senate have tea party majorities.
The federal government is reduced to a constitutional level.
States are allowed to function as defined by the constitution.
Obama, and all his czars and cronies are gone.
The fed is abolished and we are back on the gold standard.

We WILL have rioting in the streets, lawlessness and total chaos brought on by the unions, government dependents, socialists, marxists, progressives and every other leech in our society. Greece will look like a trip to Disneyland.

Be prepared to defend what you believe and stand for, because they will stop at nothing to keep from losing the “progress” that they’ve patiently forced down our throats over the last 100 years. Going back to our constitutional republic will not be an easy task, and we will not be able to be faint of heart.

God bless this nation and stand with us.

      • Liddie

I doubt if Dr. Paul will get the nomination. Just feel if people vote for 3rd party line, we will be left with Obama. I’d rather hold my nose and vote if I have to rather than vote 3rd party line. People aren’t ready for that. Remember Ross Perot, he drove a wedge but not big enough and the incumbent was reelected.

Just blast the republican chairman that you don’t want or do want so and so on the ticket. Any candidate that refuses to say he made a mistake re healthcare, state or federal, does not get my vote.

Often wonder why we even vote as it seems to be so rigged and dislike these new scanners. Give me the old voting machines where the count stays local and no news media until all have voted.

  • Fedup

  • mickey

I’ve written, I’ve called, I’ve signed petitions. The bottom line is obama rules by decree and in effect, we have no Congress.

I have changed sides and now vote to writing to local state government. We can still support the Fed for what it supposed to do but this amnesty, healthcare, etc, along with ACORN, ACLU, NAACP, etc, needs to go.

Then any time the fed decides to sue, we counter sue of better yet, sue before they can entangle us in expensive litigation.

We are a balanced budget state and solvent. We can open business here to by pass interstate commerce. We can offer business a stable environment plus a lot of good educated populace. Smaller is better because we can help the neighbor without having to worry about what CA is imposing on us.

A lot of welfare will disappear because they will move to CA or NY to get their checks. Not a bad thing for us because we will need less money to operate.

    • Karolyn

Mickey – You said “along with ACORN, ACLU, NAACP, etc, needs to go.” Now, how exactly would you do that? They are all, nonprofit organizations. Would you have all nonprofits dissolved? I would doubt that anything like that would happen, even at the state level.

      • FreedomFighter

ACORN: is riddled with curruption, anti-american/communist, expose, jail, and eliminate.

ACLU anti-American nomatter the propaganda, expose, minimize impact, selective laws against anti-American communist organizations to eliminate.

NAACP: once great organization, now just a racist, race baiting, hate spewing arm of the communist movement. Expose, elimnate

How do we get ‘rid’ of them…

Those agencies that have an agenda (Liberal Progressive left)can just be “DEFUNDED’ by Congress so the Tax Paying citizens do NOT have to be forced to give their hard earned money for corrupt organizations they do not agree with.

There are many other people and companies that those organizations can elicit donations from if they need more money to run their agency, unless they have been found to be illegal or unlawful… in which case their doors should be shut.

        • eddie47d

Are your attacks on the NAACP justified Freedom Fighter? In Springfield, Mass 3 years ago a white man burned down a black church in a racially motivated arson. Michael Jacques was convicted this Apl 14th for that arson. On Apl 8th of this year in Medford,Mass Jeffery Smith pleaded guilty of sending letters to 7 blacks churches and 2 NAACP offices expressing racial hatred and threatening to burn them down. Now how should the NAACP act if they are constantly being threatened? Yes those things still go on in 2011.

          • Alex

And at the same time, white people are robbed, murdered, and jumped in black neighborhoods. The NAACP came into existence to fight for equal rights. They won. Now they fight for more than equal rights. You mention a racially motived arson. Well here in SC several years back, there was a black man who murdered a police officer in cold blood when he came to the door to serve a warrant over child support. The NAACP represented this murderer in court and got him life in prison, arguing that the state was only seeking the death penalty because he was black.

Organizations that do things like that shouldn’t exist, no more so than the KKK.

BUT, they have the freedom of religion, the freedom of speech, and the right to peaceably assemble. So there is no basis, legally or constitutionally, to shut them down.

        • Currahee

Don’t forget to remove all taxpayer funding from said organizations due to their corrupt ways.

      • 45caliber

You are right. ACORN, ACLU, etc are non-profit organizations and therefore cannot be shut down by the government.

BUT … (BIG ‘but’) … the reason they can stay in existence is because of massive amounts of money they get from the Feds. Take ACORN, for instance. They had their money shut off – and they had to shut down. Now the Feds are giving them money again.

We need to shut off the tax money going to such groups and let them live or die on their own. That includes ALL non-profits. Those the people like and trust will do well – those that the people don’t care for will die quickly – thankfully.

        • Karolyn

45 – Unfortunately, you would be throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Having worked for/with nonprofits for many years, I can tell you that much of the necessary good work many of them do would disappear without money from the government.

          • Nadzieja Batki

Maybe some of that good work should not be done if it is done with funds from the feds without the specific permission of the American Taxpayers.

          • Karolyn

Nadzieja – Things are bad enough as it is; they would only get worse if there were no help for abused women, the mentally ill, etc.

          • 45caliber

Any time the government starts handing out tax money to charities, I have a problem. First, they do not have my permission. I can decide where I want my money spent on charities without their help. Second, they don’t just hand out the money, they insist on taking it over and calling the shots. I have a problem with that too. So – as far as I’m concerned – stop them from giving away tax money and let me handle it.

  • Charles Everett

Proe Grphique is right. Most people have not been vigilant.

When I joined The John Birch Society, 41 years ago, I learned that our Reps do not read our letters but their staff counts them. So a single letter has no weight unless there is a large contribution enclosed. But, when you have organized letter writing (now email campaigns) and thousand of constituents are writing on the same subject the Rep will vote against his own desires if he feels it could cost him at the next election.

I don’t want my Rep to waste taxpayers mney answering my correspondence (if they do I don’t read them) I just want him to do what I tell him (i.e. adhere to the Constitution).

One example. In the 80′s Congressman Weaver of Oregon wrote a nasty letter to a fellow Bircher that was distributing his voting record (a TRIM bulletin). He ridiculed the bulletin. Called it something you would find in a barnyard.

Two years later after the distribution got pretty large he wrote the same Bircher, “Great bulletin you have there. You’re providing a great service.” His voting record went from supporting bills that increase spending by billions and were unconstitutional to opposing similar measures. He was a prostitute before we exposed his record and was still a prostitute when he voted for less government and lower taxes but he was now our prostitute.

Ron Paul is probably the only Rep which will abide by the Constitution even if nobody e-mailed him to do so.

  • Michael J. Marsalek

I absolutely agree with the author but don’t think his statement regarding federal solutions is entirely accurate. Government careers are built on deliberately creating problems, nurturing them into a near crisis situation and then managing those situations with more government. There are almost always very simple solutions to the very complicated problems that government deliberately creates. The simple common sense solutions are seldom, if ever, acted upon because the federal government never intends the problems it worked so hard to create ever be solved. In short, the government is all about population control through a process of deliberately creating problems that can only be managed with more government.

    • Alex

While there is certainly no proof of such a thing outside speculation, I have to say that my gut instinct is to agree. I don’t know it as a fact, but I believe it to be true beyond any reasonable doubt.

    • Ret

From personal experience, have to agree 100%. After working in healthcare for over 30 years, attaining an advanced degree, taking dozens of non-degree courses in management, etc, feel I’m pretty cognizant of the field. Wrote the bum a multi-page letter how millions (probably billions) nationwide could be cut immediately. No major changes in hospitals. I also have a good idea why people say they can’t get care – simple. They don’t want to go to the county health clinics and compete with the illegals. It’s possible to see a doctor for just a few dollars, and most pharmaceutical companies give free or very low cost medications to eligible patients. Emergency Rooms treat the kid who has had a cold for 3 weeks as an emergency to cover their legal/licensed butts. (Some) people who I’ve seen eat out of garbage cans on the street demand specially prepared foods in the hospital because they can. The waste and stupidly ridiculous regulations are what cost. Anyone asked the AMA how much money they get from the government each year for their coding system, that is mandatory for reimbursement? Another sweet deal. Your tax dollars at work. Ha!

      • Liddie

Many hospitals and large clinics are raping the insurance companies. I say this from personal experience except that I was more knowledgeable re my situation than most people and did extensive research. If doctors can rate your cancer a bit higher they can give you surgery, chemo and radiation when it’s not necessary. A second opinion from a nonprofit or not for profit may present a different treatment. The life you save may be your own!

Do you know what it means?

One detail that is never mentioned is that in Washington , D.C. There can never be a building of greater height than the Washington Monument.

With all the uproar about removing the ten commandments, etc., this is worth a moment or two of your time. I was not aware of this amazing historical information.

On the aluminum cap, atop the Washington Monument in Washington , D.C. , are displayed two words:

    Laus Deo.

No one can see these words. In fact, most visitors to the monument are totally unaware they are even there and for that matter, probably couldn’t care less.

Once you know Laus Deo’s history , you will want to share this with everyone you know. These words have been there for many years; they are 555 feet, 5.125 inches high, perched atop the monument, facing skyward to the Father of our nation, overlooking the 69 square miles which comprise the District of Columbia, capital of the United States of America.

Laus Deo! Two seemingly insignificant, unnoticed words. Out of sight and, one might think, out of mind, but very meaningfully placed at the highest point over what is the most powerful city in the most successful nation in the world.

So, what do those two words, in Latin, composed of just four syllables and only seven letters, possibly mean? Very simply, they say ‘Praise be to God!’

Though construction of this giant obelisk began in 1848, when James Polk was President of the United States , it was not until 1888 that the monument was inaugurated and opened to the public. It took twenty-five years to finally cap the memorial with a tribute to the Father of our nation,

    Laus Deo
    ‘Praise be to God!’

From atop this magnificent granite and marble structure, visitors may take in the beautiful panoramic view of the city with its division into four major segments. From that vantage point, one can also easily see the original plan of the designer, Pierre Charles l’Enfant ….. a perfect cross imposed upon the landscape, with the White House to the north. The Jefferson Memorial is to the south, the Capitol to the east and the Lincoln Memorial to the west.

A cross you ask? Why a cross? What about separation of church and state? Yes, a cross; separation of church and state was not, is not, in the Constitution. So, read on. How interesting and, no doubt, intended to carry a profound meaning for those who bother to notice.

When the cornerstone of the Washington Monument was laid on July 4th, 1848 deposited within it were many items including the Holy Bible presented by the Bible Society. Praise be to God! Such was the discipline, the moral direction, and the spiritual mood given by the founder and first President of our unique democracy ‘One Nation, Under God.’

I am awed by George Washington’s prayer for America …. Have you ever read it? Well, now is your unique opportunity, so read on!

‘ Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government; and entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow citizens of the United States at large. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.’
    Laus Deo!

It is hoped you will send this to every child you know; to every sister, brother, father, mother or friend. They will not find offense, because you have given them a lesson in history that they probably never learned in school. With that, be not ashamed, or afraid, but have pity on those who will never see this because someone failed to send it on.

    • BrotherPatriot

I absolutely, positively do NOT agree with the line…

“that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government”

It is my interpretation that We the People have empowered the States & government on our behalf and that they serve us instead of us serving them!

Feel free to correct me if I’m taking GW’s statement wrong.

      God Bless.

      • Jana

        Brother Patriot,

The way our Government is now you are right. There is no way we should have a subordination or obedience to Gov’t.

The way it was set up, was proper and good. The problem is we had too many who thought they knew better and they have changed the Gov’t. to what they wanted, and not kept what was intended.

However, I do agree that the prayer actually should have been:

that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Thee Oh Lord, not government.

        Good catch.

We are not a democracy, We are a Constitutional Republic.

Again I ask, why do so many think we are a democracy?

      • Nadzieja Batki

We have been told repeatedly since grammar school in every history text that has been presented in every public school. Unless you have quirky brains like some of us have that question the things that are said, we have people believing that we are a Democracy. According to some people Democracy sounds so much kinder and gentler than a Republic.
Anyone notice that nations that call themselves Republics in our time period have tyrannical governments so most Americans don’t want the name association with tyrannies.

      • Alex

It’s technically a Representative Republic, not a Constitutional Republic, though Constitutional does work by definition.

And I agree insomuch as to say that all throughout my school years, we said the pledge of allegiance. … and to the republic for which it stands …. There’s no excuse for people to not know.

In fact, I was quite proud of my oldest son not too long ago. I had some beers with him and we talked about politics. He’s a senior in high school, and I was pleasantly surprised that he knew his rights. He wasn’t able to make it past the seventh amendment, but he knew at least that far. He even knew about having the right against troops being quarters in his home during peace time.

Impressive. And he knew that we were a republic.

But all my kids hear it constantly, so maybe I shouldn’t be so impressed, but rather disappointed if they DIDN’T know. lol

        • Jay

  • Wapitiman

The Tenth Amendment of our Constitution says:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
Our so-called government has grown into a voracious monster, gobbling, or rather, assuming power where it has no Constitutional right.
If I remember correctly, President Reagan wanted to give back to the states a lot of authority…but the States seemingly ducked this opportunity (I will never know why!) Now the pendulum has swung the other way and the States are seeing that they have been castrated by the federal government…and are getting off their knees, beginning to stand up and are demanding (weakly) their rights.
My prayer is that some contrived emergency will not arise to interfere with next year’s elections.

    • Lost in Paradise

Wapitiman are there any democratic states that have done this?

The only reason to vote R in 2012 is to give the Senate to a more reasonable crowd and get rid of the clowns(Reid, Schumer, etc.) who control things now and spend us into oblivion. After that, we can “guide” the new occupants into straighter paths. There is one thing I can say about R’s; they listen better than D’s: i.e., the so-called Health care bill passed with 60% of us objecting! Many regs are now being thrust upon businesses w/o even a look from the Senate; R’s will not allow that. We have a lot of work to do. I don’t envy the next Pres.

  • http://WeThePeople Jean

The first department to get rid of is the Civil Liberties. This Group has been taken over by bigots. All they want is a free ride and they are now riding on our blood sweat and tears in order to validate their existance. The only validation they have is delaying the inevitable. They are mainly composed of law students who are out to make a name for them selves. They are also made of retired laywers who never amounted to anything in the real world. Any private company and State Government can tell you that.

    • Lost in Paradise

Repeal all the civil rights laws that were enacted in the 60′s, and all will be fine. I have watched all this B.S. tear this country to shreads ever since.

Jean – The ACLU is a nonprofit organization and is not a “department” of the government. I’m sure you wouldn’t mind having them on your side if your civil liberties were being violated. They don’t only support ethnicities, races and liberals. They are there for everybody. You only hear about the cases that get the most attention.

      • http://WeThePeople Jean

The aclu needs to liquidated! The aclu is variously known as Atheists, Communists and Liars Unscrupulous; Anti-Christian Litigation Union. An organization devoted to destroying the moral foundations of American society by eradicating the influence of religion from public life. Another words, they’re SCUM!!!

            Who funds the ACLU?

Besides the membership donations and attorney fee awards the ACLU recieves funding from numerous far left organizations. The ACLU keeps its donor list pretty well guarded, but Discover the Networks has put together a pretty good list.

The ACLU has received funding from the Open Society Institute, the Arca Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Columbia Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. Macarthur Foundation, the Mertz Gilmore Foundation, the Minneapolis Foundation, the Jessie Smith Noyes Foundation, the Open Society Institute, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Scherman Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Columbia Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the JEHT Foundation, the Joyce Foundation, the Lear Family Foundation, the Public Welfare Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the Woods Fund of Chicago. So much for being non-profit, Karolyn, you lying snake!

I particulary resent the health care bill that was pushed through before it was even written. It forces me to pay into a system which I don’t believe in, a system which uses our government to limit our health liberty, a system which cannot and will not heal conditions which other alternative care can and does heal at a tenth of the cost. I would rather get my insurance from a more honest crook,

You can be sure that no Republican elected officials in the path of the recent Hurricane Irene will be telling the federal goverment “to go to hell!” Just listen to the sound of hypocrisy as they all beg the federal gov’t for aid to THEIR districts even as they condemn federal spending and federal oversight in their lives. It’s hilarious.

Just like SC’s wonderful republican governor Haley who rejected Federal money for education, resulting in an even worse (if possible) education system in SC and then turned around and begged the Fed for money to pay our DOT’s bills because we ran out of money.

Then there’s frugal Governor Chris Christie now begging for aid for his state. I personally have no problem with the Fed helping people recover from natural disasters. I don’t care how much neighbor helps neighbor, it still won’t amount to being able to rebuild what one lost. What I have a problem with is Christie’s hypocrasy.

Why do we need the federal government involved in education to begin with? They waste more than they provide, and they never improve anything they get involved in. They just plunder the money to line their pockets, and then tax(steal) more.

        • Jana

Exactly. The GAO found there were 82 programs for teachers. Most of these programs overlapped. So now we have more money going to the employees who manage these programs, than go for the actual teacher programs they were designed for.
Only the Government can get it wrong that badly.

We r in a lot of trouble… Thank u for ur time, and God bless you and your family! Please pray for a revival…we need God back! Kerrie

      • Alex

Haley vetoed lottery money that some wanted to use for new school buses when the bus system is going private in a year or so. And she vetoed over $100 million for additional education funding, including colleges (which receive private funding already) when the state’s education funding formula has already increased over $100 million this year alone. The money all these expenses are supposed to allegedly come from is the state’s reserve fund.

She didn’t do the wrong thing. It just sounds bad. “Oh my goodness! That wicked hooker. How dare she veto education spending.” You have to have it before you spend it. I’m personally a little pissed that the school system spends more and more every year, my taxes keep getting raised, teachers are getting laid off, and I get longer and longer supply lists each and every year.

But you’re upset because she borrowed $52 million “because we ran out of money,” and want to criticize her for vetoing $213 million in additional expenses when better planning and budgeting in the school districts could solve the problem?

I know the woman isn’t perfect, but REALLY? Give her a break. She’s got a lot of mess on her hands. And the money for the SCDOT is due to construction that didn’t all start during her administration.

I like almost everything about Ron Paul except he is way pro amnesty for illegal aliens. Wants to give my job to an illegal alien. I like my job. It keeps me from having to live in my car, however 23% of homeless have jobs. Rent is high and wages are low.

    • DaveH

Gloria, you’re spreading misinformation. Ron Paul is for easier immigration, but he is against amnesty for the people illegally here.
      See what Ron Paul says:

    • s c

Gloria, I agree with most of what you said. In the shadowy world of politics, ideals can get lost or ‘muddled,’ and when that happens, survival becomes the #1 goal. It’s possible that Paul’s view on illegal immigration is calculated to get access to the Hispanic vote. You already know that the ‘Republicans’ [GOP, or whatever they want to be called] will do NOTHING to court the Hispanic vote. The other side literally ‘owns’ the hispanic vote. When Hispanics get tired of being ‘owned,’ it will get interesting.
I don’t know what Paul has in mind. Someone needs to confront him, and see exactly what his position is. If his position is a liability, we need to know about it NOW – not later. Like it or not, one of the main goals of the next election is to make sure that NO ONE finds a reason to jump back on the nearest fence. This election is being played for ALL the marbles.

      • DaveH

OMG (Obama Must Go), SC, I posted a link to what Ron Paul really thinks, and it isn’t what Gloria said. Pick the link.

      • OB1

I’m posting this because it is Ron Paul’s written statement on his website on immigration. I know DaveH is great at posting the link, however, I was inspired to post this: (you can go to RonPaul2012 for most of his positions as well as current interview videos:

A nation without borders is no nation at all.

It just doesn’t make sense to fight terrorists abroad while leaving our front door unlocked.

Unfortunately, for far too long, neither major political party has had the courage to do what is necessary to tackle the problem.

Instead, we’re presented with so-called “solutions” that involve amnesty proposals or further restricting Americans’ civil liberties through programs like REAL ID.

Ron Paul opposes both of these schemes and believes they will only make illegal immigration and the problems associated with it worse. He has been proud to see states exercising their Tenth Amendment rights and protecting their citizens by refusing to comply with the unconstitutional REAL ID law.

While the federal government neglects its constitutional responsibility to protect our borders, it continues to push mandates on the states to provide free education and medical care to illegal immigrants at a time when the states are drowning in debt. This must not be tolerated any longer.

Like most Americans, Ron Paul also understands just how valuable legal immigration is to our country.

Immigrants who want to work hard, obey our laws, and live the American Dream have always been great assets.

If elected President, Ron Paul will work to implement the following common sense reforms:

        * Enforce Border Security – America should be guarding her own borders and enforcing her own laws instead of policing the world and implementing UN mandates.

        * No Amnesty – The Obama Administration’s endorsement of so-called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform,” granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, will only encourage more law-breaking.

        * Abolish the Welfare State – Taxpayers cannot continue to pay the high costs to sustain this powerful incentive for illegal immigration. As Milton Friedman famously said, you can’t have open borders and a welfare state.

        * End Birthright Citizenship – As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be granted U.S. citizenship, we’ll never be able to control our immigration problem.

        * Protect Lawful Immigrants – As President, Ron Paul will encourage legal immigration by streamlining the entry process without rewarding lawbreakers.

As long as our borders remain wide open, the security and safety of the American people are at stake.

As President, Ron Paul will address immigration by fighting for effective solutions that protect our nation, uphold the rule of law, and respect every American citizen’s civil liberties.

There is a growing anti-government movement, and we need to do everything we can to keep it growing. I also believe joining the T-party movement to be a good and productive thing. However in the end you will need to grow some serious courage and stand up and fight for your republic. Our founding documents tell us to do so when we have a government like we now have. In fact it states that it is our duty to replace it. However, I believe their blood will need to run in the streets of American before we get our Republic back.

Many of us now realize that voting is a scam and simply gets us deeper in the hole. So, what is left? Not much, and it WILL get ugly before this is over. What a disaster we have allowed to happen.

    • DaveH

There is a growing anti-government sentiment, but that is exactly why we need to keep it going peacefully. The Leaders are chomping at the bit for some reasonable false-flag excuse to unleash the military on us, and people like you would enable them to get away with that. Is that on purpose, Lost? I guess only you know the truth to that.
But the logical way to pursue our quest for liberty is to continue swaying our friends and relatives to peaceably join our cause. That’s all it takes, Listening, because the quest for freedom is a noble quest which will be embraced by anybody who understands it.

We need to wake them up as this country is fast becoming a third world country. My post was to lost in paradise, or where ever he is lost.

  • Lost in Paradise

Actually the majority of Americans need to be all done with the current regime, and ready to replace it as a duty to our Constitution, and BIll of Rights. All current Politicians need to be replaced soon. I believe that most of the military would be on our side, and there will be at least two countries that will offer their support.

    • mark

You’re living in a fantasy world. No revolution against our current government is coming. The U.S. military is totally loyal to the government. This isn’t Honduras. True libertarians are about 10-12% of the voting population. This is why Ron Paul is not going to get the Republican nomination. If Paul ran for President as an independent he get around 12% and guarantee an Obama reelection. People are frustrated because of this long recession but majority of the Americans people accept our system with all its faults despite their many complaints. This is the problem of living in a republic where virtually all office-holders are democratically elected. The majority rules!

      • DaveH

Don’t state your fantasies as if they are facts. I have posted similar polls to this enough times that there is no way you could convince me that you are ignorant of this fact:

        • DaveH

And those results are in spite of the fact that the MSM gives Ron Paul almost no coverage. Imagine what will happen when they realize they can’t stop him and climb on the bandwagon (so as to suck up and keep as much of their political persuasion as possible when he gets elected).

      • 45caliber

Sorry, you are wrong about the military. But I can understand why you, as a lib, would say that. The military MUST follow the commands of the CIC, right?

Well, that isn’t necessarily so. About 90% (at last count) of the military are Oath Keepers. You should look up what that is. They agree to keep their OATHS to defend the Constitution – not to obey some order blindly regardless of who gives it. In fact, the military has the obligation to NOT follow any orders that are in conflict with the Constitution. So there is no way you can order the military to shoot at a crowd protesting something you don’t want them to protest.

In fact, that is part of the Oath Keepers’ oath. And many police are Oath Keepers as well.

Further, about 1 of 8 soldiers are Texans. We provide more soldiers than any other state. And I doubt if you could find one of a hundred of those Texans willing to obey orders to shoot civilians in the US. Most would be more in favor of shooting anyone who tried to shoot at the civilians.

So don’t expect the military to protect you if you anger the citizens enough to want to hang you.

      • Jay

Stop drinking your bath water mark, and pull your head out of your butt, you marxist loving, sodomized sheep. Gather what little dignity you may have left, and act like an Homo Erectus, rather then a drooling, mindless baboon!

    • Karolyn

“there will be at least two countries that will offer their support.”

Who? Russia and China? Or would you rather fight shoulder to shoulder with Iran and Venezuela?

    • Alex

      From the Declaration of Independence:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes [...]. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations [...] evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Please note that a long established government should not be removed lightly. All attempts at peaceful resolution should be sought first. It is only when there is a proven design to reduce the people under the oppression of despotism that it becomes their duty to throw off that government.

I am not for revolution. I think it will be a terrible loss of life. However, if the shot is heard ’round the world for the second time in this country’s history, I won’t be counted amongst the cowards.

But revolution shouldn’t come until all options are exhausted, and it shouldn’t be started until the government draws first blood. To promote more than that is treasonous.

    United States versus Divided States.
Remember, United we stand, divided we fall.

There once was a time when our country was united, no more. Our Government has divided us in every way. Our country was based on religion, now our country is dying because of the lack of it,

    Races are divided.
    Colors are divided.
    Ages are divided.
    Religions are divided.
    Ethnic groups are divided.
    Political parties are divided.
    Rich from poor.
    Union from non-union.
    Private from Public.

    • Patriot1776

We were meant to be divided by the borders of the sovereign States, but United under the causes of Liberty, self government, repelling invasions, and united in the sight of foreign nations.

    • mark

Except for a couple of occasions like World War II and the period from 9/11 to the Iraq War, Americans HAVE NEVER BEEN UNITED. Study our history, it is an endless story of political, social, ethnic, and racial conflict. This is the natural way of life when one lives in a democratic republic with elections every two years and a multitude of peoples and opinions in conflict. I personally love it. I would NEVER want to live in a united country. Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Spain, Communist Russia and China were all united countries. God spare us from unity! I prefer the chaos and constant debate of a endlessly divided democratic republic.

      • DaveH

The turmoil actually increases with the growth of Government and loss of freedom, because one size does not fit all, and never will. The surest way to Peace is to get back as much of our liberty as possible. We should be free to control our own bodies and property as long as we don’t trespass on the bodies and property of others. There is only one political party that embraces that kind of freedom.

        See here for more:

As far as united countries, what about Sweden, Denmark, or Switzerland? They have some pretty good things going for them.

        • 45caliber

Go live there and you’ll see that ain’t so.

Sweden has a high problem with immigrants and so does Denmark. Switzerland is split between the German group and the French group.

All European countries have splits just like we do. You just don’t hear as much about them.

Switzerland is the only country of the three you mentioned that I would consider moving to. Because I know where to go.

          • Karolyn

45 – The difference, though, is that the primary population is strictly Swedish or Danish, rather than mixed ethnicity like in the US. I saw a piece last year about Sweden showing how they can leave a baby in a stroller outside a restaurant without fearing the baby would be kidnapped. They also live very simply and are very much into helping each other. Very socialistic people. It’s an “all for one and one for all” mentality.

          • Stan Smith

@ 45 I disagree!your quote{Sweden has a high problem with immigrants and so does Denmark.} With Denmark They now have the toughest Immigration Laws, So does Swiss and Japan ect.
Denmark did have problems but since The Danes got fed up and done something about it, Which US refuse to do by enforcing it and get more tough on Illegals and people overstaying their visas!

          • 45caliber

If you think Sweden is so good, check out on the problems they are having with the government seizing children because the parents are trying to homeschool, etc. One couple (Swede and India wife) had their son seized as they were trying to fly to India. They get to see the boy one hour every 5 weeks. When they tried to hire a good lawyer to help them get the child back, the court dismissed the lawyer and appointed one for them. They have been trying for over two years to get him back.

Those countries can govern themselves and they are none of our concern. Why are you concerned for them?

@ Nadzieja Batki Your Quote { Those countries can govern themselves and they are none of our concern. Why are you concerned for them?} Who are you Replying To?? Me?? if so I was trying to say US refuse to enforce and get tough when enforcing our Immigration laws! Like other countries I posted a link that they have the will and got tough and enforcing their Immigration Laws! So Nadzieja I wasn’t sure if you were trying to respond to my comments or not! since your comment was under my post! So if you were not Replying to my comment Sorry! this posting board can get confusing! So in the nut shell US need to take notes from other countries that have toughest Immigration Laws So US need to get back to reality and enforcing our Immigration Laws!

I simpley cannot understand why DC just goes ahead with every phase of the government business, as if they are the ony ones in the country, whose only opinions count. Apparently they have no regard, whatsoever for what we think, UNTIL ELECTION TIME. Then they are so very considerate. We voters need to remember this when it comes time to vote. If we do not get this riff raff out of office we really do not stand a chance to survive, as a nation. I just hope we are not too late and we go up in ‘smoke’ before 2013.

This oil business is one of the most important things, I believe in boosting our economy and the DC crowd seem to want to hide it for us, as if our oppinions do not matter, just as they have done in
everything else. Makes no differance how many phone calls we make, how many petitions we sign, they just go on their merry way turning a blind eye and deaf ear to us, we, who put them where they are. They needto remember that we can take them out of there, too.

I would like to know one thing for sure, is this tearing our country down, ruining our economy, our morals and our relationships with other countries deliberate or are they this blind??

    • 45caliber

You are right. They are very considerate of our opinions at election time. The only trouble is that they very seldom vote on anything at election time. They wait until after the election – when they no longer have to pay us any attention or consideration.

  • Evermyrtle

Unless, our politicians wake up and smell the coffee and get right with GOD, we do not need to tell them to “Go to hell.” They are working on that, doing all they can do to get there, already. Their chance of going with GOD to heaven, can be done, but only if they turn their backs on the evil they are producing and promoting with every decision they make. This country was established on “Faith In GOD and HIS WORD.” We are almost as far away from that, today as we can get. We have millions of Christian who are trying to turn the tide back to GOD but Satan is using every trick, in the book to keep us, as a country, away from GOD and, so far it is working. As far s DC is concerned these millions of Christians do not exist!!!!!!!!! I can join Obama in,”I am ashamed of America” the America that he has turned away for GOD in every way possible.

  • nw

I am equally frustrated with the politicians. I am so sick of getting junk mail from members of Congress. It seems once you make a donation for whatever political cause, you are on the mailing list for everything thereafter. It’s usually a survey of some sort and asking for a donation to support the cause. Instead of trashing, I now handle like I do credit card mail. Whenever I get an application for a credit card, I just send it back to them with their own junk mail. Now with all the donation junk mail I get, I remove all identification and do not answer the survey but only in BOLD letters write IMPEACH OBAMA. So, this is my way to vent! The Republican party had the opportunity and they still do not get it, only looking after their interests and it’s become a power struggle of the elite with no regards to what they are doing to this country. They shun Ron Paul and he has not sold his soul to the devil and he is the only candidate worth his weight in gold.

    • mark

You’re right Ron Paul doesn’t stand a chance of ever winning the Republican nomination. Only problem is if he runs as an independent which he very well may, he guarantees an Obama reelection.

      • nw

I don’t think so, I will not believe the media, they are using fear tactics to convince you that a vote for Ron Paul is a Obama reelected. Obama will get reelected through fraud, and Ron Paul votes will not even matter. I think there’s enough going for Ron Paul that he will be a thorn in Obama’s side as well as the Republicans. The time is at hand for a drastic change and what better way to send a message to the big banks, PHARMA, and feds.

      • DaveH

See my rebuttal to Mark’s other misinformative statement about Ron Paul. Are you purposely trying to steer people away from Ron Paul, Mark?

        • Nadzieja Batki

          Of course he is.

          • OB1

Told you. He is a troll paid or otherwise.

      • 45caliber

You are also the one who insists that if we tell about Oblama’s failures he is SURE to get elected. According to you, we should only talk about the good things he has accomplished (name one) and that will get people to vote against him.

And now you are trying to do the same thing about Ron Paul. “You can’t vote for him because he can’t win. So vote for someone else that Oblama can beat more easily.”

  • Melody

I would just like to say… any law or mandate is only as good as the people “willing” to follow it. Compliance of the masses, or in this case, the states, is needed in any society for government to be functional and successful. The power clearly lies with the people, not the law makers.

    • 45caliber

The way our country was set up, the most powerful group to decide law was – believe it or not – a jury. If the jury didn’t believe the law was fair or right, they simply let the person who ignored it walk free. Do that several times, and the law gets changed.

But the government is doing their best to change that. Now there are “guidelines” that the jury is supposed to follow. A judge will address the jury and many times tell them whether to find someone innocent or guilty – and many people will obey the judge on that. When sentencing comes aroung, the judge will tell them what the “guidelines” say and the people believe they must follow that.

I know of a case in AR where a man pleaded guilty to murdering his wife. The jury gave him a one-day suspended sentence – because they all felt she deserved to be shot. (And from my one experience with her, I think they were right.) The prosecutor had a fit but couldn’t appeal the case since the “criminal” accepted it.

Keep it in mind if you are stuck on a jury that is dealing with a bad law.

  • Janice Fortin

continued…..Since congress will not correct itself, we have a new order of congress and would like it to appear on the next voting ballets across the nation. If congress represented any part of America or its constitution, it would put on its big shoes and plant their foot where it will finally be effective. America is sick and tired of tolerating a traitor in the white house who does not obey THE CONSTITUTION AND INSISTS ON BEING THE UNVETTED MYSTERY OF USA.

Michael Bolding, thank you for invigorating posting. It is refreshing to read this and gives me hope and faith for the creation of a better tomorrow for all of us ” we the people” to keep the ginger on the pulse without hesitation and evasion of mind.

We can forcefully tellthe FED to get out of our lives in 2012 — Just vote for TEA PARTY supported candidates!!

Finally!!!…..a suggestion. We have all been yelling and writing and listening to each other about what can we do because we are soooo tired of this crap with the federal government. Thank you, Mr. Bolding, for this exciting post! I truly believe you’ve got the answer we’ve all been searching for. Now, we, as in you and I, have to take the next step in contacting our state government and I believe we have a great chance with our current governor, Nikki Haley! Again, thank you!

Albert Einstein stated “INSANITY is DOING THE SAME THING AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS!” Sounds EXACTLY like your Gov’ts policy and how they are “addressing” the Financial Armagedon your county faces. Can you imagine if you went up to your banker after being over indebted well beyond your ability to repay it and said ” It is easy to get out of debt, just LEND ME MORE MONEY so i can be in debt even more and even more unabble to repay it!” HAHAHAHHAHAHHA Check out the overseas bank accounts of your leaders, especially the accounts associated with the Vatican, and you will understand what happened to your economy and how you got there! In my humble opinion , that is.

  • Gerry Thomas

A great post! I don’t think the Black Robed nincompoops will go for it. Under the guise of “The Commerce Clause” & other far flung ideaology the clowns have made toilet tissue out of The Constitution. Their opinions now contain little more than demented ramblings. We do need to get rid of incumbents who brought us to the dance but are incapable of getting us home. Frankly you are on right track but we need to have the States pay our Representatives costs, benefits & salaries. Campaign contributions should be limited to citizens of that State, only domestic corporate or business contributions allowed. We might then have a shot at representative government.

  • Christin

A breath of fresh air… thanks Michael Boldin.

And by the way, I think the ‘self-serving, Godless, freedom killing legislation, tax burden, over-spending, loss of freedom big-regulators, and police state promoters’… are going to h_ll already, don’t you?

But I’ll bet it felt good to say it out loud for all to hear :).

So let’s nullify some more unConstitutinal laws…

  • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Whizzer

I appeal to anyone with a real backbone! The whole Tea Party thing is cute, it has the media attention. The idea that you are going to vote in solid conservatives that will get anything done is a myth. This country is the Titanic! So while your rearranging deck chairs and fighting over the life preserver (voting) you are wasting time.
If you really want to fight this corrupt system you will have to lay it all on the line. It will require civil disobedience. I am not talking about getting voilent. Here are a few things that will get Washington’s attention in a hurry….
1st – stop filing your tax return, stop paying taxes period! If you are employed go to your Human Resource dept. and change the withholdings on your W-4 and claim “exempt”. If you are self-employed just stop paying any taxes at all. Stop paying the Dept. of Licensing money to register your car. Stop paying property taxes. Pull your kids out of the public school system, home school or put them in a private school. Deny every cent you can to the government. If millions of people unite and do this it will send a message to all our elected officals that we the people are tired of playing games. Your freedom is on the line! If you think you can hold onto your little piece of pie and that somehow it will all work out, your dreaming! You can postpone the inevitable for only so long… the vote thing is a joke! These politicians other than a small handful are laughing behind your back! Grow a pair and act like real men and women… the country’s future is at stake!

    • FreedomFighter

I suggest we wait and see if Obama siezes power or steals the election, if so, then do what you say.

Why? If Obama gets another 4 years, its over anyways.

      Laus Deo
      Semper Fi

    • Proe Graphique

I could not disagree more, with respect.

“The whole tea party thing is cute”? Everyone on both sides of the political aisle have acknowledged that it was the tea party that was the juggernaut that led to the GOP landslide of 2010. Among the winners were several “tea party candidates” (although under the GOP umbrella). The tea party consists of federalists and constitutionalists and true conservatives who out-shouted the mainstream media.

That’s not “cute”. That’s devastating, and thank God for it.

Conservatives are for the rule of law. They work every day. And they tend not to grandstand for attention and shout like babies for what they want. Therefore civil disobedience is not likely to be in the cards between now and 2012, but tea Party rallies will. Besides, assume that there is civil disobedience? How do you translate the vagueries of a collective “no” into a complicated charting of a course for action?

Lat but not least it does not work for conservatives because rallies need media attention and the media will not give us favorable coverage because they hate us, get it? They hate us. They will not help us. Not ever. Please learn it. There was that 9/12 rally a couple of years ago with 1-2 million conservatives tying up all of Pennsylvania ave in Washington DC and even most conservatives never even knew it happened. So your civil disobedience may tie up a lot of time while people daydream about it – which helps the democrats – and may get some conservatives arrested – which helps the democrats – but without the media will not rally the larger nation because they won;t know nit happened, like murders by the government in communist countries, the press just won’t talk.

Everything is grassroots pro-activism. That is the ONLY thing that has worked for us, because when people tell their friends and neighbors, that outmaneuvers the mainstream media. And it worked. the election landslide of 2010 proved it.

      • BrotherPatriot

The disobedience has begun on a global scale. This is an excerpt from a post that was sent to me, “Secret meeting of 57 finance ministers on ship charts new financial system
    Posted by XXXXXX
    August 30, 2011
“For the past week, a secret meeting of 57 finance ministers aimed at setting up a new international financial system took place in a large ship on international waters near Europe , according to White Dragon Society representatives who were there. The meeting, hosted by Switzerland , deliberately excluded representatives from the US Federal Reserve Board and its Washington D.C. subsidiary, France , Italy , the UK , Germany and Japan . Countries like Russia , China and the Netherlands were among the 57 represented. Representatives from the Pentagon and the US agencies at the meeting promised to bypass the Federal Reserve board and use their access to codes for the international collateral accounts to finance the US military industrial complex in conjunction with the new system. The Swiss used their financial intelligence to refuse would-be participants who were in any way associated with either the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission. Among those refused entry were Naoto Kan (still Prime Minister of Japan as of last week), IMF head Christine Lagarde and US Senator J. Rockefeller. Rockefeller was actually physically prevented from boarding the ship, according to two eye-witnesses. There was an attempt by members of the old world order fascist cabal to eavesdrop on the meeting with helicopters. The helicopters were also preparing to attack the ship with pulse weapons before they were warned off by pentagon white hats and forced to leave the vicinity, CIA sources say.” There is a storm abrewing!

I noticed that a citizen from Guiana (who is now a naturalized American) is suing in Federal Court for the right to run as President. His argument is that the “natural born American” part of the Constitution is not Constitutional.

Are you kidding? I’ll check that out!

This is has to be the last straw, it sure seems like the end is near.

        Aug 28th, 2011 | By R. Mitchell | Category: 2012 Election News, Featured, Politics

The six commissioners of the Federal Election Commission are being tasked with a Constitutional question: Can a foreign-born citizen run for President of the United States?

The Constitution strictly forbids anyone but a “natural-born citizen” from becoming president, but it does not restrict candidacy. Now, the FEC won’t either.

Guyana-born New York attorney Abdul Hassan would like to file papers, take campaign contributions, and collect federal matching funds for his candidacy. Two draft advisory opinions from the FEC may let him do just that – even though he can never be sworn into that office.

Hassan had posed four questions to the commission.

        1) As a naturalized American citizen, will Mr. Hassan be considered a “candidate ” or “person ” running for President under the Act?

        2) As a naturalized American citizen, is Mr. Hassan eligible to receive presidential matching funds under the Presidential Primary Matching Payment Account Act?

        3) As a naturalized American citizen, will Mr. Hassan violate 2 U.S.C. 44Ih(b) if he solicits and receives contributions for his presidential campaign?

        4) Is Mr. Hassan required to comply with the Act’s provisions regarding expenditures, contributions, record keeping, and reporting?
The opinions state that he can be a candidate, can collect campaign contributions and would be required to disclose his campaign finances to the commission. The difference between the two opinions is the question of whether or not he may receive federal matching funds for his campaign. Draft A forbids him from collecting the matching money and Draft B sidesteps the question as “hypothetical”.

Why Hassan is pressing this issue, with full knowledge that he will not win the election and even if he did, could not be president is not immediately clear. It could be the slippery-slope approach that liberals take when attempting to erode the power of the Constitution. Before long, the FEC may be questioning the definition of “natural-born” or “citizen”. It would only take a single challenge to his candidacy to open a legal case that would ultimately end up in the Supreme Court.

The Constitution does not define “natural-born citizen”. That term is defined in section 8 of the United States Code of Laws. This challenge could open up the question of whether the U.S. code is an accurate or Constitutionally-acceptable definition. Semantics are the tool of the left and they may be at work to change the application of a fundamental clause in the U.S. Constitution.

This is not the first attempt to circumvent the natural-born citizen requirement to be president. More than 20 amendments to the Constitution have been proposed to change the requirement. Perhaps the most famous being one that was intended to allow Henry Kissinger to serve as President.

The FEC could vote on the opinions as early as Thursday and for either opinion to be accepted, four of the six commissioners must agree.

Public comments must be submitted by Noon on Wednesday August 31st, 2011. Those wishing to comment on the Draft A or Draft B of the Draft Advisory Opinion 2011-15 should follow these directions:

1.Comments must be in writing, and they must be both legible and complete.
2.Comments must be submitted to the Office of the Commission Secretary by hand delivery or fax (202) 208-3333, with a duplicate copy submitted to the Office of General Counsel by hand delivery or fax (202) 219-3923.
3.Comments must be received by noon (Eastem Time) on August 31,2011.
4.The Commission will generally not accept comments received after the deadline. Requests to extend the comment period are discouraged and unwelcome. An extension request will be considered only if received before the comment deadline and then only on a case-by-case basis in special circumstances.
5.All timely received comments will be made available to the public at the Commission’s Public Records Office and will be posted on the Commission’s website at
If you would like to deliver your comments by hand, one copy each should be delivered to:

I hope that the states rights will be adequate to challenge The martial law that the feds are planning.

In the state of New Jersey like many other great states in this Nation we have begun to take back our “God given Rights”, by electing some state representatives with “BRASS”, notice this is non-gender, since both men and women understand what they were elected to do.
It is evident that we have a Medusa in Washington each snake head do it’s own thing and it is to the point, where we can’t even get an exact count on the number of heads on the snake nor can we determine if the so called Czars are heads as well.
I’m not sure if more of us disabled individuals should not band together to the the time to read some of the legislation that is being passed since our Elected officials, don’t.

Richard – Do you not have a problem with Chris Christy begging money for hurricane damage from the Fed? Either you have it one way or the other. In some ways, though I love my home state of NJ, I am glad to be out of there.

All I can say is good luck. My husband & I have sent emails to congress. I think there are lots of evil, self centered individuals in our federal government. I am afraid for this country. Obama, I refuse to call him president, is the biggest crook & liar of them all. I saw through him before he was ever elected. He bought the last election. He needs to be stopped before he destroys our country and our freedom. Biden isn’t any better. They should both be impeached.

I read a frightening article today by someone in FBI who stated, there are a number of Muslim Brotherhood affliated people who are now appointed to key positions in the white house and the list is growing. Judicial Watch has subpeoned white house log visitor records and they have not produced any. It’s beginning to look like a complete takeover, there’s not going to be an election in 2012 because Obama will just declare it so. That’s how it’s done in a socialistic society and all dissenters go to detention camps, (the young ones, older ones are eliminated) and work for the state. Turn your neighbor in for that entitlement bonus.

    • Bob from SoCal

I heard Webster Tarpley on infowars state that the Muslim Brotherhood was formed I believe back around 1920, by an intelligence arm of the British government. Which would in turn mean that they are an instrument of The New World Order. This whole thing is so convoluted its nuts.

I too am fed up with the federal government trying to “fix” our lives only to make things much worse! When you get in a deep hole you quit digging. However, I do call, email and otherwise contact my senator and congressman, not to get them to “fix” something but to ask them not to pass a specific proposed law that will really put us deeper in that hole. I think that we SHOULD contact them. Sometimes they have changed their mind about something when they get thousands of constituents asking them not to pass a law but very few asking them to pass it. Sometimes they are determined to pass something anyway. But still we must make a solid attempt to stop them.

To ALL of the above – how is a CONSPIRACY successful? It CANNOT BE PROVEN! Well, guesss what? It is much more easy now to PROVE THAT THERE HAS BEEN A NEW WORLD ORDER CONSPIRACY THEN EVER!!!
You can check out information on the Internet like: Synogogue of Satan; Secret History Of The Jesuits; Above The Law; The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion (in relation to the “Communist Manifesto” & “Agenda 21″ from the United Nations; The Georgia Guidestones; The Truth Abouut “Chemtrails”; Army research on “vectors” (mosquitos, birds, etc.); genetic food “engineering”; JFK’s last speech on YouTube (& his assissination); the truth about inoculations; the truth about how the Federal Reserve got started; who actually “owns” the media; & those are just a few sites containing astonishing Revelations!!!
Remember this – when the media, the government, most purposely placed “experts”, & ANYONE else in “authority” positions – “What the eyes SEE & the ears HEAR, the MIND BELIEVES!” U.S. citizens have been inundated with THEIR “Psychological Warfare”; to the point where they don’t even think straight anymore! This has ALL been “amped up” by the elitists CONTROL of LEGAL & ILLEGAL DRUGS, ALCOHOL, “BIG PHARMA”, & most government “agencies”! BE AWARE OR DON’T CARE! Its YOU decision.

  • DaveR

More than 35 years ago, I was openly ridiculed in law school for even suggesting the 9th and 10th Amendments had any relevance or legal teeth! And that was in a mid-western setting in a then conservative city. Later, I realized that the “Harvard LS hijack” of our Constitutional framework began long before then under the guise of the liberalism view of the Constitution as being a living document subject to changing interpretations over time. Each subsequent case decision represents an opportunity to further modify the meaning originally intended by the founders.

Someone mentioned earlier that the Federal Gov’t declared war on the populace long ago. I’ve not heard it put that way before, but looking at what’s actually happening now it makes sense. Look at all the ways we’re under physical attack, and look at all of the “elite” statements in interviews, records, and in things like the Georgia Guidestones. Aside from all the unconstitutional and therefor illegal laws being passed, (plus Administrative “law” in which there IS NO presumptive innocence), regardless of how many citizens LOUDLY denounce them. Especially, look at the results of those laws:
NCLB: The best teachers are gotten rid of, while the worst, least principled and least experienced remain. They “teach to the test,” so that students learn NOTHING about anything except which answers go to which questions. Result: unthinking idiots who pretty much do what they’re told.
Clean Air Act; dirtier air, lower penalties.
That list is a long one. Then look at all the powers Obama has claimed, using Bush’s EOs as a jumping off point to grab more and more power that is expressly FORBIDDEN to the Administrative Branch.
And back the attacks on us:

Chem-Trails full of toxic materials, weaponized diseases, heavy metals and multiple neurotoxic agents, and immune system destroyers.

Vaccines that are also toxic; an early H1N1 was forbidden to send to the M.E. because it was classed as a weaponized disease that could be used against us! Neurotoxins figure heavily in vaccines, too, like mercury (Thimerosol, aluminum, formaldehyde). A illegal law was passed to prevent anyone holding Big Pharma accountable for the damage vaccines do, including death. Multiple efforts to make them MORE damaging and fatal are apparent – things like culturing lung secretions of a woman who died of the 1918 flu that killed 50 million people so the DNA could be added to the H1N1 flu shots. I think it was this that now contains Yersinea pestis (Black Plague) DNA as well, though it may be (or may ALSO be) a “superbug” E. coli. Many vaccines now also cause miscarriages and sterilitty.

GMOs were snuck into the food supply over a decade before anyone heard of them. They cause miscarriages and sterility as well as immune system damage (again), organ damage and other system damage including massive histaminic (allergic) reactions. They’re deliberately being “leaked” into food crops so that theirs is the ONLY thing available for food, which is why organic farms and farmers, including backyard farmer, are under a vicious attack with so-called “food safety” programs when Big Ag and their carelessness are the only ones whose products have caused deaths from poisoning and diseases spread by food. Real studies are redacted or “disappeared,” while lies are used to sell these dangerous products.

We’re (and our food) being irradiated from multiple sources, including cell phones, food irradiation at insanely high levels that destroys protein chains (nutrients), Cell towers, Fukushima radiation is ignored or said to be at safe levels (it isn’t); infant deaths in the U.S. went from 9% to 35% almost immediately after the first plume hit. Viruses are sprayed on meat to kill listeria, but then will likely attack the E. coli that belongs in our intestines. Airport x-rays are ten times as powerful as we were told. Cancers are becoming ever more frequent.

Fluoride in the water being good for teeth is a complete fabrications. It’s a sedative that causes brain damage and accumulates in bones, causing damage. The “fluoride going into water supplies is akso NOT “pharmaceutical grade”; it goes straight from the pesticide and plants and fissiles refineries where it’s toxic waste left over from those processes and into the water supplies and is full of other toxins like cadmium. It’s now going into bottled water and even into foods as a “preservative”.

Big Pharma’s “medications” are recalled at a massive rate – over 50% within 5 years, due to too many deaths. They are backed by false, redacted or otherwise incomplete research and passed by the FDA with little review. Statin drugs cause heart and other problems including heart attacks, many of which could be alleviated by adding Coenzyme Q10 but that isn’t done, or even suggested for patients who take statin drugs. They aslo cause nerve damage and other problems. Almost everything being sold as a medication is useless or worse, damaging or deadly. SSRIs are based on fluoride compounds (fluoride is a powerful poison in ANY form or amount). Gabapentin-type anticonvulsants (and SSRIs) causes suicidal and homicidal behaviors, especially in young people (Columbine-style shootings). The manufacturers knew and hid the information so they could sell the drugs.

These are the things that are getting harder and harder to avoid, especially with the government literally attacking and destroying natural food coops, buyer’s groups, etc. They’re also continually trying to regulate organics, food supplements and vitamins, raw foods and so on out of business, leaving the poisons of Big Pharma the only things remaining to try to maintain health with and getting rid of what they regard as competition for THEIR money.

We’ve already seen that privatization destroys the usefulness of programs, sucks up most of the money and feeds it to the giant multinational corporations that were recipients of bailouts and “secret baliouts” (because the gov’t knew we’d object even more strenuously than to the ones we DID know about). Even though it’s known that Social Security never added a dime to the deficit (or it wouldn’t if Congress didn’t steal the money and leave worthless bonds in its place), that and all other social programs are continually under attack in attempts to get the money into the hands of the destroying corporations, leaving those who payed into it high and dry.

All of the above taken together is STILL just a drop in the bucket. feel like you’re under attack yet? Congress KNOWS about this stuff, most of them. I’d say all, but that I can’t prove. We treat them like rulers, allowing them to make themselves immune to the laws they pass that WE must obey. A single term in Congress gets them lifetime benefits better than ANYTHING we can get; they live like they’re wealthy on OUR dime from the moment they take office. They also get insider information for investing that would get anyone else arrested for insider trading; it’s not illegal for them. One thing we ought to do is make “public servants” LIVE like servants while they’re in office! Give them a place to live, an office staff and equipment, office and a reasonable vehicle that THEY drive. Allow them to utilize MATS flights or third class airline seats that they must justify. No more of this “First Class all the way” sh-t!

Lastly, we MUST begin treating treason like treason! Impeach the SCOTUS members who pass things like “Citizens United”. Remove appointees who institute or continue policies that aer detrimental to We the People and the public weal. It’s illegal for people to lie to the Congress; make illegal for them or the President to lie to We the People! Obama broke evry promise he made to get elected. There are even records of him telling Big businessmen not to worry – it was just a campaign promise that he never intends to keep (which he proved immediately on being elected). we’re being played for UNCONSCIOUS suckers evry step of the way. No one’s going to change that but us!

Always happy to see that I’m not the only one out trying to show the facts of the organized attack upon the sovereignity of America & the rest of the world. Our Congress is definitely part of the problem…remember, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

We definitely need a balance & check system put into place that shows the authority that the Constitution gives these people to make the various laws that they have been getting away with.

I bet most of their “laws” wouldn’t pass just like Ron Pauls votes show NO so many times when he checks them against the Constitution…

      Thanks for your work, Ian.

I hope there’s enough people out there waking up to the fact that we have lost our freedom and do something about it. Every day there is a new revelation…..A solar company given 535 million in stimulus money is filing bankrupcty, 2,000 unemployed. The Gibson guitar company and the feds confiscating millions in property, they want labor done in Madagascar, not in US. They are becoming bolder and bolder and becoming a gestapo state with a vengance. I no way imagined the Bible prophesies to become this terrifying and how the Christians are the domestic terrorist. We have become the laughing stock of the world to allow this tyranny to become rampant and do nothing. When SHTF, Congress and those Illumanti, Freemasons have been taken care of with the underground bases with stocked food for 10 years. That’s where trillions of dollars have been spent so the elite can control the world. It’s all fitting into place like a puzzle, it’s so unbelievable and unimaginable, that it is so easy for them to go about business in broad daylight with no resistance. It’s really bigger than big brother ever imagined.

impeaching barry would give us joe biden, do you really want that clown running the country, he’d make jimmy carter look like george washington.
our only hope is to remove barry by vote in 2012. that means we have to overcome corruption at the ballot box and somehow stop the illegal vote.
barry has a solid 43% of the electorate, most democrats will vote for king kong if he wears the party label and we know the blacks don’t care, he’s black isn’t he. no matter how bad things get this is going to be a tough election to get rid of barry.

Steve Quayle highlights what is happening across America:

    - The Illuminati elite is deploying troops across America to allow them to implement martial law and forced vaccination easily.

    - They have in hand vaccination ‘bracelets’ where those that have been vaccinated will be ‘tagged’ and logged into a computer database.

    - Many local police and law enforcement officials are being trained by the military to handle militia and civic rebellion. More than 80 eminent scientists, biologists, viralogists, doctors.. have died unnaturally in the past decade.

    - Many troops are already conducting exercises to ‘program’ the sheeple to fear ‘the pandemic’ and to submit to authorities.

    - A general in the military intelligence department has broken ranks and said “I will not be a party to the deaths of 25 to 50 million Americans!”.

    - Early trial test vaccines in Texas are showing negative side effects but are being hushed up. Officials are publicly saying no one will be exempted when the law allows exemption by signing a federal form.

    - The USD is heading for a collapse. Together with economic collapse, man made pandemic…. the Nazification of America has started. The government is asking neighbours to spy on neighbours. Criticising the government and police are disallowed and unpatriotic.

    - Mass graves are already being prepared and more land are being prepared for graves.

    - Weather weapons and chemtrails are being deployed against the people. Will there be a false flag ‘nuclear incident’ in London? If this happens in London it will very likely be repeated in America!

Spread the word ! People need to know and decide for themselves. Alex Jones and Steve Quayle are have decades of experience warning the public about the Illuminati New World Order. The shadow government intends to destroy America and Nazify the country and??? —>goto global war???

“Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4.
However, united we stand, and divided we fall. My personal letters and contacts with congress have done nothing. When I sign a PETITION from on of many liberty fighters, now that gets attention. “There is nothing new under the sun”, as wise Solomon said. But we are called to RESIST. Goo to any King James Bible site site and search resist. I will not do it for you. As for fight in wars or defending ourselves? Jesus told the apostles to go get weapons..they came back with two small swords. Jesus said “that’s enough”. Later those 11 men and those women in addition to Saul-Paul the Roman Citizen and scholar, changed the entire course of human events for the entire planet. For today, the reason I like Ron Paul is because he is “real”. He is a Christian. He doesn’t have to preach it because he LIVES IT. Very hard to do…Sure, I’ve seen interviews when he was really young and lost it. He has become wise, in my simple opinion. I think many people old and young, hope to get there at some point. He is like a prophet in the old testament. he has the wisdom of Samuel and he has the smarts of the apostle Paul (who was a Roman citizen highly educated).(No pun intended, however, God does have a sense of humor!) He will fail like we all do. George Washington never won a battle, but he and his troops persisted and defeated the British. Always stop and pray for your enemies first. It takes power away from the enemy.
It is not easy. And for atheists, just say something like “if you’re out there.” And remember or learn:
      Ephesians 6:12

21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

OB1 – Yes, we must keep faith.

We need to be continually reminding ourselves of the promises.

“No weapons formed against you shall prosper”. Speaking of His people.

“Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, still, it shall not come nigh thee”.

“God has not appointed His people to wrath”.

“Come out of her, My people, that you share not in her plagues”.

“Pray that you and your family will be found worthy to escape the wrath to come”. That must mean that there is escape provided to the faithful.

Yes. And Love my Lord and my God and have been negligent and failed at many attempts at peace, resolution, and arbitration (which means compromise). Perhaps this sick nation has come to the point where compromise is no longer the answer. I am guilty of this. Now that I have started watching the state houses of congress, I feel sad and sick. California Legislature Returns to Work on August 15 and Anti-Gun Legislation is on their Schedule

Contact your state Senator and Assemblyman TODAY!

The California Legislature returns to work this Monday, August 15. It is imperative that you call AND e-mail your state Senator and Assemblyman TODAY and respectfully urge them to OPPOSE all anti-gun legislation and support the NRA CCW reform legislation. Don’t forget to forward this alert to your family, friends and fellow gun owners across California urging them to contact their state legislator.

Call AND e-mail your state Senator OPPOSING the following bill (contact information here):

Assembly Bill 144, back for a second consecutive year, would ban the open carrying of an unloaded handgun. In reality, the open carrying of firearms by law-abiding citizens is caused by California’s unfair concealed carry laws, which allows citizens from one county to apply for and receive a permit while neighbors in the next county are denied that basic right in an arbitrary manner.

Call and e-mail your state Assemblymember OPPOSING the following bills (contact information here):

Senate Bill 427 would grant authority to law enforcement to collect sales records from ammunition retailers, require ammunition vendors to notify local law enforcement of their intention to engage in the business of selling ammunition AND would include a list of “calibers” which would have to be registered at the point of purchase, including ammunition popular among hunters and collectors that has no association with crime. This will result in the point of sale registration of all ammunition purchases in the state, which would be available for inspection by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) at any time. SB 427 will result in significant costs to the state, both in terms of enforcement and lost sales tax revenue by driving business out-of-state.

Senate Bill 798 would overturn California’s long-standing preemption statute that promotes consistent statewide regulation of air-soft guns, BB guns, and imitation firearms. California’s statute preempting local regulation of air-soft guns, BB guns and imitation firearms was passed in 1988 in response to routine inadvertent violations that were occurring due to the confusion caused by a patchwork of varying local ordinances. This firearms preemption statute was necessary to avoid the very problems that SB 798 will create if enacted.

Call AND e-mail your state Assemblyman SUPPORTING the following NRA CCW Pro-Gun Reform Legislation:

Senate Bill 610 would standardize the application process for a permit to carry a concealed handgun. SB 610 would also delete the requirement that CCW applicant obtain liability insurance as a condition of obtaining a CCW permit.

Anti-gun extremists are working hard to eliminate gun ownership in California by any possible means. WE need to work harder to remind them that the Constitution still applies to California. Take action today and help save California from destroying what our Founding Fathers established over two centuries ago – FREEDOM.

Additional Anti-Gun Legislation that Must be OPPOSED:

The following anti-guns bills have been sent to the Senate and Assembly Appropriations’ committee suspense file. The suspense file is usually heard in the final days of the legislation session. The following bills are expected to be heard the week of September 5.

In the Senate Appropriations’ suspense file:

Assembly Bill 809, long gun sales registration, is a direct assault on gun rights because the only real value of registration is to help governments confiscate firearms in the future. On top of the violation of Second Amendment rights, expanding the registry to include rifles and shotguns would be a huge waste of taxpayer money at a time when California is drowning in debt. The cost estimate being used by the anti-gunners is $400,000, a number that is almost certainly far less than it will actually cost to implement and enforce this registry, if enacted.

In the Assembly Appropriations’ suspense file:

Senate Bill 124 would require every hunter and target shooter in the state to be fingerprinted for purchases of all ammunition, and prohibit the mail order purchase of all ammunition, including ammunition popular for hunting and sport shooting that has no association with crime.

Senate Bill 819 would allow the Department of Justice to use the Dealer Record of Sales (DROS) funds to help pay for enforcement of California firearm possession laws in the Armed & Prohibited Persons Systems program. The DROS fund monies were originally collected from every firearm purchaser to pay for the administrative process for background checks. This bill will divert and drain away hundreds of thousands of dollars of DROS fee monies that you have paid for background checks. As a result, the DROS fund will certainly run out of money. When it does, what will be their answer to this problem – another increase in the fees YOU PAY for FIREARM background checks.

Hmm? I’m not sure want to say to you Mr. Michael Boldin .

At some point you need to accept the fact that your elected representative is not responsible for everything that the government does or fails to do.

Over the years I have found my “go to guys” in government to be responsive to my letters and willing to act in my or my families behalf, to intercede, in bring about resolution.

But for this to happen, you get to get your “big boy britches” on and speak clearly and directly and state your case.

“World Peace” or Homes for the homeless or new legs or asking for a “new Daddy” is beyond their ability to supply.

I could go into length with my experiences over the years and the final outcome but being respectful of everyone time here, I’ll spare you the blow by blow details and events other then to say, I’m gotten family member’s removed from active military service and Ollie North is in my debt as I sought justice & fairness in his behalf on his darkest days, while I don’t agree with his activities or his politics.

Allow me to say, regardless the country you live in or the government that presides, this process takes time, it can be very frustrating and worrisome. The less patience and communication skills you bring to bear on such matters only compounds the problem.

So put you big boy britches on , stand & deliver a well thought out letter and be willing to listen to the other side of the argument.

When Pilate was questioning Jesus (John 18:36) Jesus answered: “My kingdom is not of this world [that is, not of that time] if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, tht I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” That was poorly translated, Jesus simply said his kingdom would not immediately follow the heirarchy of that time.
The point is, Jesus said the time would come when Christians would fight for His Christian kingdom. If not now, when?

  • James

One problem we have is that most Amricans don’t know when Congress or the Executive Branch operates beyond their constitutional limits. For instance, President Obama used our armed forces to attack Libya without any authorization from Congress, and hardly anyone decried that. According to the War Powers Resolution, which defined the powers of the Commander-in-Chief, the only time a president may use our armed forces without congressional approval, is when the United States, its possessions or territories or armed forces are attacked. Libya was no threat to the United States, and we were not under attack, therefore President Obama violated his oath of office, and should be impeached, but not a single congressman even suggested that.

  • OB1

They can’t impeach him. He has committed a felony. The Senate could over-ride an impeachment and in the Senate, the Dems hold a majority. Look back at what happened to Bill Clinton. All Congress is trying to do now is prevent civil unrest. The CBC has already been called to violence. Don’t buy into it. Choose to make the entire thing an “impotent rage”. Then get to action vetting candidates and change congress and checking the validity and accuracy with high security and verification for next November’s election. Maybe no computer voting? Only ballots counted at each polling station and votes sent in? I don’t know. We all should be preparing now.

    • James

OB1, All bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. The House could refuse to fund the Libyan war, or at least try it.

The truth remains that every 200/250 years people go through the same cycle
    From bondage to spiritual belief
    From spitual belief to courage
    From courage to Liberty
From Liberty to abundance-Now we’re in trouble
    From abundance to complacency
    From complacency to apathy
    From apathy to governmental dependancy
From governmental dependancy, right back into bondage
Right now more than 40% of the people in this country are dependant on the government for something. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see where we are heading. Just keep voting for the canidate that promises more and more from the government coffers, and we’ll get exactly what we want. We’ll get exactly what we deserve.

I truly believe I am reading the real workers and analysts of the USA. So many eloquent writers in one place. I have copied every letter to a Word file just in case this page gets closed down. Ok. So I am in Australia but what I am seeing in your government seems to be starting here with ours. You may already know that our Federal Government made a unilateral decision to take away many of our firearms restricting us to rim fire ammunitions amd weapons. That decision based on the actions of one person, Martin Bryant, who drove down to a town called Port Arthur in Tasmania and pulled out an illegally modified Chinese Assault rifle, then proceeded to kill 36 innocent people in cold blood.

He was caught and jailed. End of problem. But no. Our government decided that somebody else could do the same so, despite the fact that this had never happened before and also despite already having the strongest gun laws in the world, all the state Police Commissioners got together and decided that only the military and police agents could be trusted to have these weapons. An amnesty was declared and we all had to surrender our rifles for destruction.

If I could make one suggestion about the USA’s voting system. Over here voting is compulsory. If you don’t vote you can be taken to court and fined. I think the total vote at your last election was 61%. I have travelled to the USA three times and have certainly noticed the changes to your personal liberties and freedom of movement. I think the terrorists are winning as far as homeland security goes. As a retired Air Force soldier I can tell you that I saw more military fire power in New York and Los Angeles than some of our Special Forces carry. I can only imagine the horror and mutilation that may occur if these guards were to initiate deadly force for what ever security breach they perceive as a danger to the security of these gateways to the USA. Every American citizen now seems to be regarded as a potential terrorist.
