Another good one Ben. Keep up the good work.

  • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

Yes, Ben, as always you are RIGHT.

According to the scientific Psychoanalytical Report Liberalism is the Mental disorder with devastating side effects, such as ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), TDD (Truth Deficit Disorder), Lunacy. Liberals’ psychological characteristics: ignorance, recklessness, laziness and irresponsibility; constant whining and constant blaming; envy.

But the most devastating is LDD (Liberal Dyslexia Disorder).

What is LDD? It is lock of the ability to recognize, comprehend and determine what is RIGHT and what is WRONG; what is GOOD and what is BAD; what is MORAL and what is IMMORAL; what is ETHICAL and what is UNETHICAL; what is BEAUTIFUL and what is UGLY.

Also Liberals are suffering from the TRUTH-phobia. Therefore Liberals rewrite history of the societies by replacing TRUTH with LIES, substitute HEROES with VILLAINS, changing the PLUSES on MINUSES, the WHITE on the BLACK.

    Liberal Logic:
    1) Eagle’s Egg – Destroying one is punishable by a $250,000 fine or up to 2 years in prison.
    2) Unborn Child – Not only is legal to KILL, but pay for the mass murder by Taxpayers money.

    Liberal Racism:
    1) There is a Congressional Black Caucus
    2) There is NO Congressional White Caucus
    3) There is NO Congressional Latino Caucus
    4) There is NO Congressional Asian Caucus
Why? Because everyone else is RACIST.

Liberals’ Philosophy: “Merit of an idea DOES NOT DEPEND on the number of People, who hold that idea.”

And I agree with DaveH: Liberals love GREEN underwear, which is made with taxpayer money.

    Have a good weekend.

You know you live in a Country run by idiots if…

You can get arrested for expired tags on your car but not for being in the country illegally.

You have to have your parents signature to go on a school field trip but not to get an abortion.

An 80 year old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA but a Muslim woman in a burka is only subject to having her neck and head searched

Your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more of our money.

A seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for calling his teacher “cute” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable.

The Supreme Court of the United States can rule that lower courts cannot display the 10 Commandments in their courtroom, while sitting in front of a display of the 10 Commandments.

You know you live in a Country run by idiots if…

Children are forcibly removed from parents who appropriately discipline them while children of “underprivileged” drug addicts are left to rot in filth infested cesspools of a “home”.

Hard work and success are rewarded with higher taxes and government intrusion, while some slothful, lazy behavior is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing, and free cell phones.

The government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide 99 weeks of unemployment checks (to not work).

Being self-sufficient is considered a threat to the government.

Politicians think that stripping away the amendments to the constitution is really protecting the rights of the people.

The rights of the Government come before the rights of the individual.

You pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big screen TV

while your neighbor defaults on his mortgage (while buying iPhones, TV’s and new

cars) and the government forgives his debt and reduces his mortgage (with your

      tax dollars).

Being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you “safe”.

You know you live in a Country run by idiots if…

Organ, what Ben said is true? bush smarter than Obama?? Really?
bush starts with the best economy in history and no wars and ends up with the second worst recession and two life and money draining wars going no where. The Dow at 10,500 going in and on it’s way to 6597 on his way out! 2.6 million jobs lost in bush’s last year alone! So much for what the promises made by bush and the Heritage Foundation that the bush fiscal policies would do for our economy! Remember??
The one percent here say “good job bushie” while 50+% went to the polls in 2008 and voted against that “good job group”! Obama didn’t beat John McCain! george bush beat John McCain!!
What did the 69 million that voted against the bush group see that you and Ben are in denial about??
The only place I can see the Ben Crystal America is to go into a dark closet and think bad things! It sure as hell ain’t where I live and travel here in the South! No Fema camps, no troops confiscating weapons, no shuttered radio or TV stations, No destroyed newspaper printing presses and certainly no foreign hordes in my yard.
Almost everyday some one here asks us liberals to leave so you people can wallow in your fear, anger and hatered of what you and your 1% can’t control! We ain’t going anywhere and neither is the good Ole USA!
I think I’ll ride over to Walmart and look at the fishing equipment or I might just stay home and watch my recording of the 2012 election returns when ONE TERM OBAMA went back in!

Still traveling about our country, reading our papers, voting our beliefs. attending the churches of our choice, or no church at all if that is our choice, and not having to hide in caves from the Army>

The only thing that we fear…is that idiots like you will infect more people…who may not already be suffering from liberal dain bramage….that’s why we want you to leave. We want to isolate the disease from the healthy portion of society….and you are part of that liberal disease.

You speak of our fears…hmmmm… Let’s see, we want a less militaristic police force, less overreach of government, less government intrusion into our personal lives, less surveillance of the public by our supposed representatives, more personal freedom, less government interference in the economy, less government restrictions on businesses, lower taxes on business and the private sector. We want less violations by government of the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, less secrecy from our representatives…That seems more like a “lack” of fear, rather than fear. As usual, you got it bass ackwards again….
        What do we fear?
We fear the direction of this nation, economically, morally and politically….and liberal idiots trying to “fundamentally” change the U.S. into a communist/socialist state. (I love that word “fundamental”…it says a lot about hose folks striving for it)…..Fund a mental………

AVERAGE, how do “we” do things in America! Who is your “we” who says what I do?? When have I said anything about wanting to leave this country? I write everyday about how it is the number one nation in the world>It appears very much that it is you who does not like our present position and how “we” have done things.
If you want to see how “we”, the Democrats, have done things in the last 80 years go “Bulls, Bears, Donkeys and elephants”! Where are your “true conservative” leadership figures???? Along with those Democrat figures throw in the fact that two Democrat commanders in chiefs lead us to victory in two world wars! THAT’S MY “WE”!! NAME YOUR “WE”!!!!!!!!!!

“AVERAGE, how do “we” do things in America!”

Are you saying that you don’t know what you do? Understandable, since you really don’t seem to have a clue about anything that you say….or do…..

“When have I said anything about wanting to leave this country?”

            Reading comprehension issues again?

“The only thing that we fear…is that idiots like you will infect more people…who may not already be suffering from liberal dain bramage….that’s why we want you to leave.”

Please note: “That’s why WE want you to leave” Got it?

“It appears very much that it is you who does not like our present position and how “we” have done things.”

Damn skippy, we don’t. That’s the first thing you said right…..

“If you want to see how “we”, the Democrats, have done things in the last 80 years go “Bulls, Bears, Donkeys and elephants”!”

I don’t have to go anywhere…all I need to do …is look at the state of this nation and the answers are abundantly clear…. You’ve almost completely obliterated the Constitution, the rule of law and a decimation of morality.

” Where are your “true conservative” leadership figures????”

            Thank you for asking…..

            Who’s better at running Congress?

            Since it’s Congress that sets the spending Budgets, sets the Deficits, and passes legislation affecting jobs and the economy (The President cannot spend one penny that has not been authorized by Congress), let’s look at the record of Congresses over the last 30 years (Through 2010);

            JOBS (39,761,000 Net New Jobs)

Jobs created when Democrats controlled Congress (12 years) = 8,100,000 net new jobs.

Jobs created when Republicans controlled Congress (10 years) = 21,773,000 net new jobs.

Jobs created when Congress was split (8 years) = 9,888,000 net new jobs.

            DEFICITS (a) ($7.304 Trillion)

Total Deficits when Democrats controlled Congress (12 years) = $5.022 Trillion.

Total Deficits when Republicans controlled Congress (10 years) = $1.219 Trillion.

Total Deficits when Congress was split (8 years) = $1.063 Trillion.

NATIONAL DEBT ($12.878 Trillion = 93.4% of all the Debt in our History)

Total New Debt when Democrats controlled Congress (12 years) = $7.859 Trillion.

Total New Debt when Republicans controlled Congress (10 years) = $3.238 Trillion.

Total New Debt when Congress was split (8 years) = $1.781 Trillion.

ECONOMIC GROWTH ($11.873 Trillion of GDP growth)

Total Growth (GDP) when Democrats controlled Congress (12 years) = $3.887 Trillion.

Total Growth (GDP) when Republicans controlled Congress (10 years) = $5.623 Trillion.

Total Growth (GDP) when Congress was split (8 years) = $2.363 Trillion.

Draw your own conclusions, but these are undisputed facts from government sources.

            (a) Deficits do not equal the increase in the Debt because of the government’s ‘funny accounting’.

            Sources – Democrats controlled Congress from 1987 – 1994, and from 2007 – 2010. Republicans controlled Congress from 1995 – 2000, and from 2003 – 2006. There was a split Congress from 1980 – 1986 and for 2001 & 2002. Links to government data sites are as follows;

            Jobs – http://www.bls.gov/cps/cpsaat1.pdf

            Deficits – http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Historicals See Table 1.1

            National Debt – http://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/BPDLogin?application=np

Now, where’s yours? No, your opinion doesn’t count…we all have those…..and we’ve heard yours on many occasions….but never anything to back them up…other than more of your opinion. Proof by bald assertion…is not proof…by any standards….

“I’M WAITING FOR YOUR ANSWER! DON’T FORGET THAT INDEPENDANT ADULTS WILL ALSO BE READING YOUR ANSWER!”
            If the Foo $hits…wear it….

BTW, there is no “Right or Left”…. Only “right or wrong”… and I am afraid that you are on the “Wrong “side…. on most issues…….

      • Don 2

Hey nc, maybe you can get me a video of Obama playing spades with Reggie Love and the boys while Seal Team 6 were doing the raid on OBL? According to Reggie, Obama the wimp, said he couldn’t bare to watch the 40-minute raid on the compound. No stomach for it. But then, after seeing the girly man bowling, trying to shoot a shotgun, and attempting to throw a baseball, I can understand why he would be so afraid to watch men in action.
Also, how about finding out where the wimp was during the Benghazi terrorist attack? Oh, that’s right, he got out of town, and headed for Vegas to do some more campaign money raising, while Americans were being killed.

        • NC

DON 2 , TELL US ABOUT THE 240 PLUS MARINES THAT reagan GOT KILLED IN THEIR SLEEP. THE THOUSANDS THAT bush GOT KILLED OVER S**T THAT WASN’T THERE. TWO COWGIRLS!! ALL HAT AND NO CATTLE! ONE PLAYED SECOND FIDDLE TO A MONKEY AND THE OTHER ONE IS A DADDY’S BOY!SEEN bin Laden LATELY??? WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO HIM??? THE BIG O GOT HIM!!!!! NO KIDDING????

          • Don 2

Seal Team 6 got OBL. Obama nixed the assault on three previous occasions. Valerie made the decision for him. Obama was playing spades with Reggie Love, Pete Souza and Marvin Nicholson during the actual raid on the OBL compound. Per Reggie Love himself, girly-man Obama couldn’t stomach the idea of actually watching it go down, so they played 15 games of spades rather than watch the assault on the compound.

Nc, you better not tell your liberal friends that you are going to Walmart. Not liking business and therefore Walmart is a Dem. thing. Didn’t you hear the Dems in Washington D.C. do not want that “box store” there? Do you know, Libs stand for big government that instructs and supervises and orders and makes people’s personal decisions–and the bigger they get the less civil liberties you have? Only weak men or women want to be slaves to the government.

Check your down votes before you leave, and when you get to Wally World check the ammo shelves to see how near empty they are.
FYI, we have been in a world war against Islamic jihadists since they declared war, again, in the mid-1970s. Don’t believe me, you can look it up. Search for Worldwide Terrorist Incidents, study, count them, count the number involving Muslims. Then even you might know a few true things.
Ira and Afghanistan are only battles in the world war. Now your little boy god Obama, the Marxist-Islamic, has let the battles spread all over the Middle East, North, Central and East Africa, lots of other places.
Also fyi, GWB had troops in Afghanistan within a few days after 9/11/01. How’s your Comrade-Imam Obama doing in Afghanistan now? How’s he doing after the Benghazi tragedy he created on 9/11/12? Really hot on the trail of the leaders of the murderers of the Ambassador, the four defenders. No, Obama isn’t.
How’s the economy now, nc, the Dow, unemployment, etc., etc., etc.? You sound like a willfully ignorant going to stupid, easily-duped fool, idiot really, racist Dem Lib Obamaniac.

Dan I keep asking the following and have yet to receive a lucid response for any liberal:

I have asked others and have yet to receive a response other than their non response.

Aside from receiving free welfare, free food stamps, government support, having no personal responsibility, believing that you know
everything and have authority to dictate others how they should live, and in lieu of providing solutions to problems (you continually ignore) that would actually work instead of placing blame in inanimate objects and/or enacting inane ineffective statutes.

Another thing I have asked liberals and again never had a response. What are they going to do when the money runs out and there are no more people or business to tax that pay their entitlements, print more paper? When asked about the bankruptcy of Detroit liberals continue to blame it on mismanagement forgetting Detroit has been managed by DUMBOCRITES for more than 50 years yet STILL do not
      except responsibility!!!

Personally; I think the biggest draw to liberalism is the lack of having to
except personal responsibility for oneself and assign blame of their failure on others. This eliminates the need to be proficient in school or at ones job. The old reliable liberal trademarked maxim ‘It’s not MY fault”. We all know it is an excuse for them to cop out.

I am of the opinion that people with weak character are those who embrace liberalism. They are most often angry at success and because their indolence will never let them achieve success so they hate, abase and ridicule those who have. We all know most people like to take the easy way out and in that respect the “most” here embrace liberalism.

Since liberals feel (subconsciously) inferior and as misery loves company; liberals try to control others through statute inflicting as much misery as possible.

Again; and I don’t expect a response: I would like to know why they think our Constitution is out dated and why they are willing to cede freedoms which when lost can never be regained sans another revolution as our forefathers fought for. If they are at all honest with themselves they will see they are in error a grievous error that wind up being fatal.

What I really want to know why Liberals are so Gullible and believe the media and government are telling the truth!

“Curing The Liberals’ Disease” is simple. Make the GOP return to their founding principles of fiscal and social responsibility. Except that they abandoned them in less than twenty years after the formation of the party.

This would involve purging the GOP of the American Taliban/RINOs the late Senator Goldwater warned us were threatening to take over the party in the 1970s. Even by the mid ’90s the GOP had drifted so far to the right that Goldwater (whose positions had not changed) was looking more and more (relatively) liberal and even referred to himself (somewhat ironically) as such. In the nearly twenty years since, it’s only gotten worse.

The only thing remaining is impossible because you can’t cure stupid.

But we can vote them out.

    • native blood

No “we” can’t. They are in it for life until defeated by a liberal candidate. They have a financial toe hold that buys elections and

I never said it would be easy. Too many sheeple. We simply need a greater number of true patriots willing to get out there and vote.

My family and immigrated to the US LEGALLY we had to learn English just to be able to set foot on US soil. and had to prove we were capable of self support either by trade or education. Before we could vote we needed to be naturalized citizens

Liberals are willing to usurp and bypass law so they can gain political control. Remember when I said deceased people vote? As it has happened in our family and many others who I know through my association with the veterans Administration Several deceased family members mysteriously wound up registered democrats and voted a straight democratic ticket My father even though deceased some 50 years ago was sent a thank you letter from the DNC for his support

From an e-mail I received today:

Here are just a few examples of what has surfaced with much more to come.

            * In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama received 100% of the votes with not a single vote recorded for

Romney (a mathematical and statistical impossibility).

            * In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their polling locations – and not one single vote was recorded for Romney (another statistical impossibility).

            * In Wood County Ohio , 106,258 voted in a county with only 98,213 eligible voters.

            * In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.

            * The National SEAL Museum, a polling location in St. Lucie County, FL, had a 158% voter turnout.

            * Palm Beach County, FL had a 141% voter turnout.

            * In Ohio County, Obama won by 108% of the total number of eligible voters.

NOTE: Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote. That’s why the Democrats are so against Photo IDs. Illegal aliens, dead people, bused-in voters from other states, etc., wouldn’t be able to vote.

            Vigilant:

Did you bother to try to verify whether or not what the email said was true or did you just accept it as being true? Of course you didn’t check things out, you just accepted the claims as being true. That’s the problem with the vast majority of people who post on PLD. You (the posters) just believe anything that supports your ideas. A bunch of lemmings blindly being led over the cliff.

If you would have checked out the claims the email makes you would have found out that they are all totally false and have been disproved.

In 2012, Florida, Ohio and Penn. all had Republican Governor’s and Secretaries of State (they run the elections for those states). There is no way that they wouldn’t moved heaven and earth to turn their states to Romney if there was anything amiss.

The official election records for Florida show that there around 870,000 registered voters in Palm Beach County and only 600,000 voted – a voter turn out of

69% not 148% as the email claimed. Turning to St. Lucie, there were about 175,000 registered voters and only 123,000 who voted – a voter turn out of about 70% not the 158% the email claimed. The website for St. Lucie’s Elections has a prominent note for the 2012 election that tells everyone that they had a two page ballot and that their system counted each page as a

separate vote – i.e. you had to basically divide the total by 2 to get the real total of voters. The votes actually cast was 123,000 not the 247,000 the email falsely claimed.

Turning to Ohio, everything said in the email deals with Wood County. According to the official records there were about 108,000 registered voters who cast about 61,000 votes. There were no precincts where Obama got 100% of the vote. Obama’s highest was 75% in one precinct while Romney’s was 70%. Romney got 46.89% of the vote. So much for the email’s lies that Obama got 108% of the vote, or that 106,000 people voted when there was only 98,000 eligible voters or that Obama got 100% of the vote in 21 districts. The idiot(s) who started these lies forgot that Wood County is home to Bowling Green State University.

By the way, of the 15 elected officials for Wood County, 13 are Republican and only 2 are Democrats.

Regarding the claim that 59 districts in Philadelphia that voted 100% for Obama. The precincts that did have 100% of the votes for Obama were ALL intercity minority areas and most of them also voted 100% for Obama in 2008. Why would anyone be surprised that

minority voters would vote 100% for Obama just like white voters in some Utah precincts (districts) vote 100% for Romney?.

The email was just repeating the junk that people were coming up with in an attempt to explain away Romney’s loss in the days immediately following the election.

As far as your last paragraph, you really show how ignorant/mislead you really are. Not one word that you is true. There were 11 states that had photo votrer laws in effect. Obama won four of them, Florida, Hawaii, Michigan, and New Hampshire.

While he was in office, President Bush spent over $70,000,000.00 dollars and fired several Assistant Attorney Generals in an attempt to prove the bogus “voter fraud” claims made by Republicans/Conservatives/Libertarians. With over 300 million votes cast they were only able to bring about 86 cases, mostly against convicted felons for voting.Vigilant:

With over 300 million votes cast they were only able to bring about 86 cases, mostly against convicted felons for voting.

          • Vis Fac

Your? Don’t you mean You’re a contraction of you and are? You are (You’re) a prime example of the “liberal effect”. Rather than engage in meaningful debate supporting your positions you crack jokes assassinate character and affix labels

Let me ask you as I have asked others and received no responses other than what “your” idea of a response is. Aside from receiving free welfare, free food stamps, government support, having no personal responsibility, believing that you know everything and have authority
to dictate others how they should live, and in lieu of providing solutions to problems (you continually ignore) that would actually work instead enacting inane ineffective statutes.

Another thing I have asked you liberals and again never had a response. What are you going to do when the money runs out and there are no more people to tax that pay your entitlements, print more paper? When asked about the bankruptcy of Detroit you liberals continue to blame it on mismanagement forgetting Detroit has been managed by DUMBOCRITES for more than 50 years yet STILL do not except
            responsibility!!!

Personally; I think the biggest draw to liberalism is the lack of having to except personal responsibility for oneself and assign blame of your failure on others. This
eliminates the need to be proficient in school or at ones job. The old reliable liberal trademarked maxim ‘It’s not MY fault”. We all know it is an excuse for you to cop
            out.

I am of the opinion that people with weak character are those who embrace liberalism. They are most often angry at success and because their indolence will never let them achieve success so they hate, abase and ridicule those who have. We all know most people like to take the easy way out and in that respect the “most” here embrace liberalism.

Since liberals feel (subconsciously) inferior and as misery loves company; liberals try to control others
through statute inflicting as much misery as possible.

Again; and I don’t expect a response: I would like to know why you think our Constitution is out dated and why you are willing to cede freedoms which when lost can never be regained sans revolution as our forefathers fought for. If you are at all honest with yourself you will see you are in error a grievous error that can be fatal.

What kind of response would you expect from such a diatribe? I just sit here shaking my head in wonderment. I am assumed to be a liberal by many here, despite the fact that I am a left-leaning libertarian and believe in personal liberty. At any rate I cannot understand generalizing a whole segment of society the way you and others do. I know there are “liberals” who generalize conservatives too. I used to do that when I was younger and and thought I knew it all (like most young people). However, as I became older and more experienced, I have realized that people should not be pigeonholed. You make generalities that ALL liberals are users, lack personal responsibility, want to control, feel inferior, etc. How can you possibly make such untrue assertions? If you want to generalize, you might make the same assertions about any group of people who have similar beliefs. I really just don’t get it. We are all human beings who have the same dreams, and we should all respect each other. This site always sounds like a playground in 2nd grade, and that goes for all “sides.”

The sad truth is smillee is a joke. He and others of his ilk actually believe they are the only ones who know anything because they have the masses (at least 60%) to back them up. Another sad truth is we all know it is easier to let someone else do your work, your thinking , and pawn or deflect your responsibility off on to others, or bemoan that they haven’t the opportunities other have had so blame those who are successful for their failure, liberals attempt this at every opportunity, I call this the liberal effect.

Another malady of the liberal effect is when facts are presented they often provide one line responses usually full of vulgarity laced text lingo. When asked point blank to defend their positions they either ignore the question, come back with some Smart Alec reply, or wait for something to be published online or from the media. They are all too eager to provide quotes or links because they are too indolent to conduct research on their own.

I have been around the block a few times as well as the world. My government service and my career have allowed me access to literally hundreds of places that the average person would not. I formed friends contacts both within and out of government I never burn a bridge so I have access to information the media will not report.

Suffice it to say I hear a lot of you’re a liar and the like because most people are content to live a mundane life dependent on others be it government assistance or a cushy union or government job and know nothing else. I cannot live that type of life I am always busy my interests are vast and my thirst for knowledge endless I QUESTION EVERYTHING I am not you average Joe I am not politically correct and I am very opinionated and those who feel threatened mock and chastise me. Alphabet agencies that have popped up with “new” programs (Liberal Republicans,.. or if you wish RINO’s are just as guilty too) all in the name of “security”, we’ve traded some of our liberties and gotten no security, Look at Chicago, supposed gun free zone (2nd amendment violation). or any other city where strict gun laws are in place. Generally, crime rates have gone up.

TSA with their grope-searches, Police who abuse their authority, IRS (targeting scandals), “Foreign aid”,
CIA illegal meddling, FDA allowing GMO’s into our food change while denying organic farmers from selling their produce. “Obozocare” if it is sooo great, why is it no congressmen want it?

Federal “power” grabs. Back in 1913 they needed to change the constitution to tax people’s wages. The people did NOT want this but they passed it anyways.

In short our constitution was written to keep our government small, in order to keep the Feds from impeding our rights to pursue happiness as we see fit to do so, and to reap the rewards of our efforts.
Liberals somehow got this idea of taking from the rich and giving it to the poor was a good thing, In the process they created a class of people who are dependent on other people’s money. That is like a teacher who takes points away from A students to give to the F students, so the F students don’t flunk the class,…What happens is those who take the risks, work hard, only to see their fruits go to some porked pig in a ghetto watching soap operas, either say “What a crock of sheep” and decide to not work so hard, or decides to look somewhere else
that won’t steal what is his.

          • smilee

Your so confused! You say In short our constitution was written to keep our government small, Where in the Constitution does it define the size, it defines what it is but says nothing about size and is limited to what powers it gives the government but it does not say anything about its size either big or small or anything in between. Obamacare was found constitutional under the original Constitution before any amendments were added and no amendment has changed that.I then must conclude you see Obamacare as small government as you say that is all the Constitution allows. The rest of your post is so silly only an idiot would respond to it. Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana Purchase, that certainly was huge, Monroe signed the first homestead act, Lincoln the second homestead act and the government gave these lands away to first come first served, the railroads received a lot of perks to build the railroad systems nothing small about that , nothing small about the interstate systems and hoover dam and on and on. We have always been a government that does big things and can and should do the things that most people cannot do for themselves and that now applies to health care which few can pay for themselves on their own anymore as once was the case so if government will not provide for that general welfare then people will die in the streets and some already have.Congress was given that power and has now exercised it, Obamacare is not small but it is constitutional and the founders intended for just that, as they wrote it that way and they fully expected the country to grow big time and there is clauses for it to expand its size and for future generations to change any or all parts of it if they were to see fit. The founding fathers are constantly being misquoted on this site and had vision that few on here posses or understand.

          • Motov

It is you who is confused, If you do not consider those alphabet agencies mentioned as a part of government, then my next question is who hired them?
We can do without TSA, Obozocare (and their bureaucrats) and we can get rid of many departments.
Most of the power grabs were supposed to be left to the states. To keep the federal government at bay.
The Supreme court is in error in allowing Obozocare to stand, and they also made errors in the past as well.
Every time our government grew, our rights were affected, our abilities to question what our government is doing, has been shrinking. With the increase of technology, we have never been monitored like we are
now. Our privacy has never been invaded like it is today.
We think how convenient it is to use plastic on every purchase (credit or debit) we make without giving thought about those who collect data on every transaction made. The government is powerful enough to find out little details of about its citizens, but we cannot find out the past of the POTUS because he paid to keep it hidden. I once thought the POTUS was the People of the USA employee. Did JFK once said something about government being candid with its people?
I think a government has grown too big when it spy’s on its own population

Your post is a very good example of liberal twisted logic, and or abuse of terms.

“It’s only by making an effort to understand those who cannot think the same way we do that the country can really progress. ”

You say we need to understand those who can’t think the same way we do. So many problems with this that I will start with a definition of think.

            5. to consider something as a possible action, choice, etc.: She thought about cutting her hair.
            6. to invent or conceive of something: We thought of a new plan.
            7. to have consideration or regard for someone: Think of others first.
            8. to esteem a person or thing as indicated: to think badly of someone.
            9. to have a belief or opinion as indicated: I think so.
            10. (of a device or machine, especially a computer) to use artificial intelligence to perform an activity analogous to human thought.

            verb (used with object)
            11. to have or form in the mind as an idea, conception, etc.
            12. to have or form in the mind in order to understand, know, or remember something else: Romantic comedy is all about chemistry: think Tracy and Hepburn. Can’t guess? Here’s a hint: think 19th century.
            13. to consider for evaluation or for possible action upon: Think the deal over.
            14. to regard as specified: He thought me unkind.
            15. to believe to be true of someone or something: to think evil of the neighbors.
            16. to analyze or evolve rationally: to think the problem out.
            17. to have as a plan or intention: I thought that I would go.
            18. to anticipate or expect: I did not think to find you here. ”

So, by part of your statement, we must try to understand why some people can’t (are not able to) use their minds to form rational ideas, or evaluate situations? They are incapable of planning, analyzing or evolving ideas. So, is this a medical condition that we must devote research time to, in an effort to understand the mental problem? When you say progress, are you implying that medicine is the sole goal of your endeavors? Then you say they can’t think the same way we do. Does this mean they use some other part of the body, besides the brain, for thinking? I am sure that everyone, that can think, know you displayed an inability to say what you are thinking. Or, maybe, you are using the wrong part of your body for that purpose. What you probably meant to say is, WE NEED TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE DON’T HAVE THE SAME IDEAS THAT WE DO, THAT THEY HAVE DIFFERENT BELIEFS AND GOALS. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THEIR REASONING FOR THEIR ACTIONS. This, then would help us to make progress in understanding. But, understanding does not mean accepting their beliefs. It is not always progress to accept another persons system of beliefs. That person might be stuck in some dark ages mentality. Their ideas might destroy our ability to maintain our industrialized civilization, which would progress(?) us back to an agrarian one. Understanding, using our minds, is progress, accepting, without rational thought is not.

“Why do you think we have political debates?”

Why does the debate need to be political? Political implies government involvement, why does everything need to be a matter of government. Why can’t it be a simple religious or moral debate? How about a cultural debate. An economic debate does not need to be political, only the government meddling turns it political. Your use of the term political, in debates, implies that liberals consider everything to be a matter of government control. This is one of the problems with liberals, they want government in every aspect of our lives.

          • Louis Lemieux

“It’s only by making an effort to understand those who cannot think the same way we do that the country can really progress.”

“WE NE ED TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE DON’T HAVE THE SAME IDEAS THAT WE DO, THAT THEY HAVE DIFFERENT BELIEFS AND GOALS. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THEIR REASONING FOR THEIR ACTIONS.”
Yours elaborates more than mine, I didn’t think I had to elaborate more for anyone to understand what I was saying and apparently you did understand!
If you don’t think political debates are useful, that’s your opinion but it’s certainly not mine.

          • Average_Joe56

            For future reference:

Yelling at us, does not enlighten us…it simply annoys us.

“I didn’t think I had to elaborate more for anyone to understand what I was saying and apparently you did understand!”
You could have simply ended your rant after word #3.
            You don’t think…..

          • Louis Lemieux

I just copied and pasted what Frank Khan yelled!!!

          • Frank Kahn

Get a grip on reality, please. You entirely missed the point on both subjects.

My statement was not an elaboration of what you said, it was showing the fact that what you said was totally wrong. Your grammatical usage, and word choices made your statement total nonsense. I even provided you with a definition to help you understand why your words were wrong. You said “cannot think” instead of “do not think”, these are two very different ideas.

You, also, either failed, or refused, to understand my words about political debates. Political debates are actually virtually worthless, since they are for political reasons. If you argue that X is the right thing to do, so you can get re-elected, that is totally worthless to the debate. Is X the right thing to do FOR SOCIETY, not for politics, is what is important.

The word political corrupts many things, making them worthless to society. Take, for example, Political Correctness, what does that mean? It is not politically correct to say something that hurts someones feelings? Does, saying that thing, cause a problem with society? If I call your wife fat, did I just cause society to tumble? If she is fat, what word is acceptable? Obese, grossly overweight, chubby full figured? Will any of those descriptions keep her from accepting the fact that she is fat? If we decide that it is politically correct to just not say anything, does that make her skinny? She is fat, that is correct, including the word politically, does not make her “not fat”. So the word politically (political) is changing the meaning of the word correct.

A political debate is about politics, not the issue.

          • Louis Lemieux

When someone does not think like someone else it means he cannot think like him for the time being.
Since when don’t we talk about issues in a political debate!!!

          • Frank Kahn

You keep using the wrong words, it will make you feel better, but it won’t change the fact that your statement is grammatically incorrect. Think, is a physical action that takes place in the reasoning part of the brain. Belief is an emotional action that is a totally different area. You are talking about beliefs not thinking. I use my brain for thinking, assuming that you do the same, then I THINK exactly the same way as you. I do not, however, believe exactly the same as you.

You talk about political issues in a political debate.

          • Louis Lemieux

Not true! The verb “to think” can also be used instead of “to believe”. For instance I can say: “I always thought he was right” or I can say: ” I always believed he was right”. They both mean the same thing.
In a political debate anything can be discussed that pertains to the society in which we live.

          • Frank Kahn

Your original statement was not a past tense version of think, it was indicated as a current situation. It implied the ability to think not the content of the thought. If you want to say something you need to be precise so there is no misconceptions.

On political debate, I challenge you to give one example where the debate is focused on the true issue and not a political one.

          • Louis Lemieux

“It’s only by making an effort to understand those who cannot think the same way we do that the country can really progress.”
There’s really nothing wrong with that sentence. The problem is you cannot think the same way I do…

          • Frank Kahn

I guess you are 100% right, you are definitely a liberal in that sense. I cannot think with my primal emotions like you, I tend to use reason and logic.

          • Karolyn

The problem arises when people are not willing to examine their own beliefs and possibly find merit in something their opponent might say, be it the most trivial matter. There is also the fact that so many believe they are infallible and do not ever question their own beliefs. (a lot due to fear instilled by religion) So many have all the answers. Gee, it’s too bad we all don’t think the same. Ha! Wouldn’t that be boring (and a nation of robots!) Why is it conservatives view their opposites as less than human? We all have the same dreams. We are all human beings. If many people put out as much love as they do hate, Wow! what we could accomplish.

          • Frank Kahn

I totally agree with you, if liberals would put out as much love for babies as they do hatred for responsibility, it would be a wonderful world.

Liberals question natural law, that is unacceptable to those of us that cherish it.

          • organicroseski2

I would be ashamed to think like a progressive/left/commie/socialist.

          • Karolyn

That’s really a weird thing to say. If you thought like a “progressive/left/commie/socialist”, you would be one and be comfortable with your thoughts! lol

          • organicroseski2

That is not weird. I would never be in the abortion party. I would never be in the big brother party. I can go on and on. Don’t you know so called big government and
what they did to their people. There wasn’t a Berlin Wall to keep people out? The bigger the government, the less civil liberties you or your family have. Do you care about civil liberties?

          • Karolyn

Of COURSE you wouldn’t be, because you are you! That’s why your statement is weird. And, yes, I care about civil liberties. I am a left-leaning libertarian. I’m not in favor of big government.

          • organicroseski2

I am a card carrying Libertarian plus conservative. A progressive doesn’t respect the Consitution. A Libertarian wants the government to abide by the Consitution. There is a quick quiz at: http://www.lp.org. (To see where you stand politically.)

          • Karolyn

Yes, that was a quick quiz! I placed just where I thought I would. Just to the left of center.

          • organicroseski2

Took it (www.lp.org) again, since it has been a few years. Same place: Dot top of triangle.

          • Karolyn

Here is a more detailed test to take.

            http://www.politicalcompass.org/index

          • organicroseski2

Does not work for me. How do I agree or not agree on questions like: Test question: Our race has many superior qualities compared with other races. My answer: DNA scientifically proves we are all in the same race. Test question: Controlling inflation is more important than controling unemployment. My answer: The government should not be controlling either. Anwers as agree or not agree do not work on two part questions or questions that can infer to be more than idea. Bottome Line: The agree or disagree can be manipulated with more than one point in a question. Anyway, I tried it–and thanks for the website to try.

          • Karolyn

I’ve never found any kind of test of this kind that hits the mark perfectly. I just choose the answer that agrees the most with how I feel. Did you see the chart they prepared during the election showing the placement of all of the candidates? Very interesting.

          • organicroseski2

I wandered around quick. Interesting: I checked out “Authoritarian Left” and found “Jim Jong II on the Art of Opera.” I never knew.

          • Bob666

            Yo Karolyn,
Interesting test, I’m dead center vertically and just below the horizontal line.

          • Karolyn

I took it over a year ago and seem to recall my being below the horizontal line and to the left a bit. I’ll have to take it again.

          • Nadzieja Batki

Define “big government”. What you mean, Leftist and what the Conservatives and Libertarians mean by that phrase are poles apart.

          • Karolyn

Big government is basically the government having too much power. I’m certainly not going into detail with every little point. What I will say is that, yes, there are certain things you and yours believe in that I do not. I am not now, nor ever have been, one to follow a strict ideology on anything. My views are primarily libertarian. Of course, in your eyes, people have to fit neatly into little boxes and follow the party line – not a place for thinking people who investigate all sides of any issue.

          • Nadzieja Batki

There is no such thing as a left leaning Libertarian. You are a Dem/Prog/Leftist.

          • Bob666

            Yo Nads,

“There is no such thing as a left leaning Libertarian”

That is like saying there is no such thing as a conservative democrat or a liberal republican. Do you ever read your post before you push the enter post button?

But, by your own words, “libertarian leaning republican like Rand Paul”. So we can have libertarian leaning republican, but not a “left leaning Libertarian”?

Reading your post can be very confusing!

          • Karolyn

Oh, yes there is. Those are people who do not follow the party line right down the middle and dissent on some issues. they can either be to the left or right of center. It’s the same with any party.

          • organicroseski2

You are replying to Karolyn not me. There are a couple of comments that seem to be lost or around here somewhere–lots of back and forth. I am a card carrying Libertarian with a Conservative side. Karolyn is the left leaning Libertarian.

          • Nadzieja Batki

The Leftists version of political debate is when they bully down the populace. Too bad so sad for you Leftists that people are waking up from stupor.

          • Karolyn

Speaking of bullying that goes on with everybody, not just “leftists.”

          • Louis Lemieux

Political debates inform the population as to what the candidates stand for. It has nothing to do with bullying the voters who determine who wins or lose in an election.

          • Nadzieja Batki

The Leftists version of political debate is when they bully down the populace. Too bad so sad for you Leftists that people are waking up from stupor.

        • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

Nadzieja, Lefts are progressing in the pushing on the brakes of the progress in any field.

      • Don 2

Actually, Louie Left, it is the liberal democrats who have trouble progressing.

First, the democrat party requires a permanent underclass of poor people to make up their voter base. This requires that the democrat party keep their voter base poor, because if they become self-sufficient and prosper, they will no longer need the democrat party to play Santa Claus to them with taxpayer funded free gifts, and would also no longer need to be loyal democrats.

Second, the democrat party must keep their base stupid and uninformed so that they can be manipulated. In order to sell liberal ideas, people must be lied to because if they were smart enough to know what the line of crap being sold by the democrats really was, they would not be for it. Case in point: Obamacare.

Conservatives, on the other hand, are self-sufficient and independent, and take care of their own needs.

        • Louis Lemieux

Obama won narrowly among people who earn $200,000 or more. Given his plans to tax high earners more heavily many of them were voting against their economic interests as do Warren Buffett, George Soros and all of Obama’s wealthy funders. If poor states voting Republican is a paradox then the fact that 9 out of 10 states with the highest median income vote Democrat is no less so.

          • Al Chemist

Warren Buffett is not voting against his economic interest. He owns insurance companies that sell higher earners “Estate Planing” that helps them avoid those higher taxes. The higher the taxes go , the more tax sheltered products Buffet companies sell, and the more money he makes. He is no dummy, but I think there is more than a little hypocrisy there.

          • Louis Lemieux

Warren Buffett has the right to fight for his rights just like any other American, but no one can deny he fought to have the government raise taxes on the rich like himself.

          • Al Chemist

If Warren Buffett wants to pay more taxes, there are two ways for him to do it. (1) He can overestimate his taxes and send a check to the IRS every quarter. With the money he has, he can overestimate a lot and send a lot. If the IRS sends a check back for overpayment of taxes, he can simply tear it up…not cash it. Therefore, he can pay more taxes. (2) He can send a check (or checks) to the Treasury Department either quarterly or once a year. They will accept it. Therefore, he can pay more in taxes. He did not do it because he is 100 percent Hypocrite. Believe it or not, there are some people who do exactly that: pay more taxes than they have to by (1) or (2). Not many!

Warren Buffett did not ‘fight’ to have his taxes raised. I don’t believe he paid for one commercial or poster to advertise his stand. It is understandable why he might have this view (now) as he has more money than the Pope, and can hire an army of lawyers to protect his income. Besides, his income now is only a fraction of his net worth.

He made his fortune under the ‘old rules.’ Now Buffett wants to change them and make it harder for new “Warren Buffetts” to form companies and create jobs and contribute to the economy.

“Buffets Rule” will not hurt people like Warren Buffett. It will hurt people who are struggling with small companies trying to turn them into something more.

What Warren Buffet has done (and this is admirable) is to donate millions to charity. Millions to charity and not an extra cent to the government? Could it be that he believes that those charities will make better use of that money?

          • Louis Lemieux

The Buffett Rule is named after American investor Warren Buffett who publicly stated in early 2011 that he believed it was wrong that rich people, like himself, could pay less in federal taxes, as a portion of income, than the middle class, and voiced support for increased income taxes on the wealthy. The rule would implement a higher minimum tax rate for taxpayers in the highest income bracket, to ensure that they do not pay a lower percentage of income in taxes than less-affluent Americans.
Warren Buffett is one of those Americans who don’t have as a priority: “Me, Myself and I”.

          • organicroseski2

Extra info on Mr. Hypocrisy: 2011, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway fighting IRS over $1 billion. Haven’t heard the outcome; but, fight IRS is a norm for his businesses.

          • Louis Lemieux

The tax code is so complicated, especially for very rich people, they all have to challenge the IRS. Nothing new there.

          • organicroseski2

But he should be happy to donate the $1 billion to the gov. the way he portraits himself. I agree the tax code should go.

          • Louis Lemieux

Individual donations are not the solution to our tax problems.

          • organicroseski2

It would solve his problem of wanting him to pay more taxes. There is a place on the form.

          • Al Chemist

Your last sentence is pure nonsense. Warren Buffett is one of those Americans who has made it his priority(?) (since he already is one of the richest men in the country) to make it harder for others to follow in his footsteps. He is in favor of the Buffett Rule because it will hardly matter to him or his family. It will matter a lot to those just starting to build their companies; it will hinder them greatly, and perhaps even stop them. If the Buffett Rule makes it into law, it will definitely not be good for the economy. Transferring too much wealth from industry to government is never a good idea.

          • Al Chemist

In 2011 Berkshire Hathaway (owned by Buffett) owed one billion in back taxes. They had an army of lawyers fighting the IRS to avoid paying those back taxes. Oh yes, he’s voting against his own interests.

          • Vis Fac

You might want to consider ODUMBOS pandering to the middle class saying he was not going to tax the “middle class” but tax the 1%. As it is that 1% are his supporters Banksters Unions Hollywierd elite whom he gave “special” tax credits

Sequestration was a ploy to pass an even larger tax bill which gave as I said before “special” treatment to the 1%
AND raised taxes on EVERYONE especially on the DUPED so called middle class. The liberals never saw that coming. Nothing but smoke and mirrors from the ODUMBO administration and the chief snake oil salesman.

I guess Obama must really be a genius to fool the Republicans in Congress to pass Sequestration in 2011, get them to refuse a deal to avoid Sequestration in 2012, thereby tricking them so he could change the tax laws to give special breaks to the one percenters.

We all know how much the Republicans didn’t want the one percenters to get any special tax breaks. That’s why they fought so hard against Obama and the Democrats to increase the capital gains tax from 15 to 20%, to eliminate the 15% tax rate for carried interest (where Romney and hedge fund people were only taxed at 15% instead of the then 35% for everyone else in the upper brackets) – NOT.

For 35+ years I have conducted business on every continent except Antarctica During those 35+ years I have developed many credible contacts that are not media related but in fact have more credibility. Prior to that I worked in government service both in the military and attached to other departments. I developed several credible sources there as well.

When I conduct MY research I do not use any media sources and If use online sources I am not finished until I can verify redundantly. Mot often I use the telephone or email my contacts for information I need Do you do that or have the resources I do?

Truth is not necessarily what you say or want it to be it is . Truth can often be discerned through common sense an asset you seem to be lacking. Your liberal one dimensional ideology keeps you from having an open mind because you rely too heavily on media.

The fact that you accuse me of not conducting research because I have preconceived ideas suggest that it is you who do not conduct your own research and adopt preconceived ideas from others .

Well if you must know I said Government service not strictly military FYI As an officer I am technically still in the military as I am subject to being recalled as I was for a short period of time while I started up my business I don’t suppose any of my schooling could have been completed while in the military/government service. I don’t suppose it is possible that while in business didn’t also encompass working for the government in other capacities.

I must have struck a nerve. Now you are back pedaling.

You said “Well if you must know I said Government service not strictly military”.

No you didn’t. In all the posts I have read the only government service you ever talked about was the Marine recon unit.

You also said “I don’t suppose any of my schooling could have been completed while in the military/government service”.

I never said that you couldn’t have gotten a few college credits while in the Marines. It is your outlandish claim that you got 3 or 4 college degrees in such a short period of time that I called into question.

You further stated: “I don’t suppose it is possible that while in business didn’t also encompass working for the government in other capacities”.

Of course it is possible – anything is possible. It is possible that I was one of the last Powerball Jackpot winners. Unfortunately, for me it just isn’t true.

Despite the fact that anything is possible, that is not what you have said before. From the posts I have read, your only service was in the Marine recon unit.

Being the busy man that you were starting and running a 100 person engineering firm doing business around the world, just when did you have the time or the ability to also be in government service at the same time ?

It is interesting that while you try to imply that you got your college degrees while in the Marines and you served in the government while running your engineering company, you never really say that you did in fact do those things. You don’t actually say that because you never did them.

You are constantly playing a game of one ups man ship with other posters. When they post something then you post a story that betters theirs. For instance when you responded to the other Marine’s post, you stated that you had done three consecutive tours in Vietnam in a Marine recon unit. That’s three consecutive years in a combat unit (don’t Marine recon units spend a great deal of their time operating being enemy lines – an extremely dangerous job?)

You had to be the luckiest person in the war to have spent 3 years of combat duty and yet returned home alive and unwounded. Now that I raised the issue, don’t go spoiling things by coming back and claiming that you were wounded. Doing so will only make you look more comical with your ever changing story.

I know and have heard of people doing 2 tours in Nam and even a few who did 2 consecutive tours but I never have heard of anyone doing three consecutive tours.

You also state: “Your liberal one dimensional thinking doesn’t allow you to think laterally or compute accurately”.

I admit that when you keep saying 2 plus 2 equals 10, my thought process can’t follow you because despite how badly you want it not to be true, the fact is 2 plus 2 equals 4.

The difference between you and I is that when some rightie tells you a car is an old beat up pile of junk and a leftie tells you it is brand spanking new, you don’t bother to look for yourself, you just believe what the rightie said. Me, I don’t believe what either one of them says, I look for myself to determine what the truth really is.

Aren’t there many good points and accomplishments in your life that you and your family can be proud of?
Stop all your self aggrandizement games. They do you and everyone else a disservice. If you can’t tell the truth, then why should or would anyone take you seriously?

Why are you and your rightie friends such projectionists? You people are always accusing others of the very things you in fact are doing. If this statement is above your grade level then I will make it simpler for you. You accuse others of being sheeple when it is you and the other righties who blindly follow the rightie line.

You claim that what I said was the “same lies, innuendo, and rhetoric”. Funny, you couldn’t point to one thing that I have said as being a lie, innuendo or rhetoric. You righties just cannot stand the truth that’s why all you do is lash out at it instead of thinking and reevaluating your beliefs.

Did you even watch the clips that you linked to – not likely or are you just delusional – probably?.

The politico link was a clip from Hillary Clinton’s speech in which she talked about the Voting Rights Act. The conservativebyte clip was a Fox News interview of Sarah Palin. It was of no surprise to me that the Palin interview was jammed packed with distortions, misrepresentations and out right lies – most of which came from the interviewer, not Palin.

For example, Governor Dean has never said that Obamacare has a death panel. That is a lie told by Righties – something you would have known if you would have researched the matter and actually listened to what he really said or if you would have ever read the parts of the law that Palin and other Republicans/conservatives/libertarians claimed were the death panels.

When I heard the claims about death panels back in 2010 I wanted to find out what the truth was. I therefore took the time to read those parts of the actual bill that the righties were claiming created the death panel. Guess what, there was no death panel. When the bill became law, I reread the applicable parts to see what the final version said. Guess what, there still was no death panel.

Some of the lies being told had the death panel being a provision that would allow a doctor to be paid if their patient talked to them about end of life matters (making living wills and medical powers of attorney, what type of medical care they wanted to receive in their last days or hours of their life – keep them alive on life support for as long as possible or pull the plug and let nature take its course, etc.). This was a good idea, originally proposed by a few Republicans but because of all the lies, it was dropped.

The other part of the bill that was frequently claimed to be a death panel was a committee that was to be created to review medical practices to make recommendations concerning ways to improve the results of medical care and help keep the costs down..

Did you and your fellow righties every read the parts of the bill or the final law that your leaders were lying to you about? Of course not, you just accepted what they said as being true and mindlessly repeated it.

Another big rightie lie was that it provided medical care for illegals. If you would have looked at the law you would have seen that it specifically prevented illegals from being covered.

Regarding Hillary’s speech, what is it about you righties that causes you to constantly preach about and profess your love of the Constitution, freedom and the American way while at the same time you are more than willing to allow many people to be deprived of one of our basic rights – the right to vote?

You are probably so deceived that you don’t believe the Repubs are trying to stop people from being able to vote. For the sake of this country and your children and grandchildren take the damn blinders off.

If the Repubs are not trying to stop people from voting why does everything they pass overwhelmingly hinder the ability to vote of groups of people who usually vote against them. Students (college id’s can’t be used), people who live in large urban areas and don’t own or drive motor vehicles (need driver’s licences for ID), etc.?

The lies about voter fraud are so discredited. In state after state the Repubs have made this a huge issue. Yet time after time they are forced to admit that cases of in person voter fraud are extremely rare. Penn., in its litigation last year over photo id, actually stipulated (admitted) to the Court that there had never been a verified case of in personvoter fraud in that state’s history (2000 forward) and they had no indication that there would be any if the law didn’t go into effect.

In 2012 Florida Repub Governor Scott tried to purge what he claimed were 186,000 illegal voters (non-citizens) from being able to vote (like what was done when they purged some 90,000 voters in 2000 and thereby gave us President Bush). By the time everything was done, I think they ended up with about 36 of the 186,000 actually being illegally registered to vote. In other words, Scott was more than happy to deny almost 186,000 people their right to vote in order to prevent merely 36 people from being able to vote illegally. Could the reason he was so willing to take away the right to vote from so many be because the purge was aimed at hispanic voters who generally vote for Democrats?.

It is all right to have conservative beliefs but those beliefs should be based upon the truth. Unfortunately, the corner stones of what are now the conservative position on most issues are based on deceit. trickery, and/or outright lies.

You again say, “You need both love of country and faith in GOD to be a patriot. This leaves you out.”

            I again say: liar.

You know neither me nor my faith, yet you presume to judge.

            You say, “Benjamin Franklin
            Founding father
            Devout Christian”

            Mr. Franklin says,

“Some volumes against Deism fell into my hands. They were said to be the substance of sermons preached at Boyle’s Lecture. It happened that they produced on me an effect precisely the reverse of what was intended by the writers; for the arguments of the Deists, which were cited in order to be refuted, appealed to me much more forcibly than the refutation itself. In a word, I SOON BECAME A THOROUGH DEIST (my emphasis).”

In a letter to the Rev. George Whitefield, written in 1753, when he was forty-seven years old, we have his opinion of Christianity:

“The faith you mention has doubtless its use in the world. I do not desire to see it diminished, nor would I desire to lessen it in any way; but I wish it were more productive of good works than I have generally seen it. I mean real good works, works of kindness, charity, mercy, and public spirit, not holy-day keeping, sermon-hearing, and reading, performing church ceremonies, or making long prayers, filled with flatteries and compliments, despised even by wise men, and much less capable of pleasing the Deity.”

Words to live by even today yet ignored by “Christians”.

Writing to his sister, Mrs. Jane Mecom, five years later, he says:

“It is pity that good works, among some sorts of people, are so little valued, and good words admired in their stead. I mean seemingly pious discourses, instead of humane, benevolent actions. These they almost put out of countenance by calling morality, rotten morality; righteousness, ragged righteousness, and even filthy rags, and when you mention virtue, pucker up their noses; at the same time that they eagerly snuff up an empty, canting harangue, as if it were a posy of the choicest flowers”.

“Improvement in religion is called building up and edification. Faith is then the ground floor, hope is up one pair of stairs. My dear beloved Jenny, don’t delight so much to dwell in those lower rooms, but get as fast as you can into the garret; for in truth the best room in the house is charity. For my part I wish the house was turned upside down.”

While he may have believed in a future state of existence, but his conception of immortality was that of the Deist, and not of the Christian. In his letter to Whitefield I previously alluded to, he says,

“By heaven, we understand a state of happiness, infinite in degree and eternal in duration. I can do nothing to deserve such a reward. He that, for giving a draught of water to a thirsty person, should expect to be paid with a good plantation, would be modest in his demands compared with those who think they deserve heaven for the little good they do on earth. … for my part, I have not the vanity to think I deserve it, the folly to expect, or the ambition to desire it”

In a letter to Mrs. Elizabeth Partridge, he observes:

“With regard to future bliss, I cannot help imagining that multitudes of the zealously orthodox of different sects, who at the last day may flock together in hopes of seeing each other damned, will be disappointed, and obliged to rest content With their own salvation.”

Writing to his sister, Mrs. Mecom, he says:

“When religious people quarrel about religion, or hungry people about their victuals, it looks as if they had not much of either about them.”

In a letter to “A Friend in England” (supposed to be Dr. Priestley), Franklin makes some observations regarding the inspiration of the Bible:

“I agreed with you in sentiments concerning the Old Testament, and thought the clause in our [Pennsylvania] Constitution, which required the members of the Assembly to declare their belief that the whole of it was given by divine inspiration, had better have been omitted. That I had opposed the clause; but, being overpowered by numbers, and fearing more in future might be grafted on it, I prevailed to have the additional clause, ‘that no further or more extended profession of faith should ever be exacted.’ I observed to you, too, that the evil of it was the less, as no inhabitant, nor any officer of government, except the members of Assembly, was obliged to make the declaration.

“So much for that letter; to which I may now add, that there are several things in the Old Testament impossible to be given by divine inspiration; such as the approbation ascribed to the angel of the Lord of that abominably wicked and detestable action of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite. If the rest of the book were like that, I should rather suppose it given by inspiration from another quarter, and renounce the whole.”

He extolled the character of Jesus, but in regard to his divinity he declared himself a skeptic.

His opinion of the Fall of Man, the Atonement, and other Christian doctrines, may be inferred from an anecdote related by him in an essay which he wrote on the “Savages of North America.”

“A Swedish minister having assembled the chiefs of the Susquehanna Indians, made a sermon to them, acquainting them with the principal historical facts on which our religion is founded, such as the fall of our first parents by eating an apple; the coming of Christ to repair the mischief; his miracles and sufferings, etc. When he had finished, an Indian orator stood up to thank him. ‘What you have told us,’ said he, ‘is all very good. It is indeed bad to eat apples. It is better to make them all into cider. We are much obliged by your kindness in coming so far to tell us those things which you have heard from your mothers. In return, I will tell you some of those which we have heard from ours. In the beginning, our fathers had only the flesh of animals to subsist on; and if their hunting was unsuccessful, they were starving. Two of our young hunters having killed deer, made a fire in the woods to broil some parts of it. When they were about to satisfy their hunger, they beheld a beautiful young woman descend from the clouds, and seat herself on that hill which you see yonder among the blue mountains. They said to each other, it is a spirit that perhaps has smelt our broiled venison and wishes to eat of it; let us offer some to her. They presented her with the tongue; she was pleased with the taste of it, and said, ‘Your kindness shall be rewarded. Come to this place after thirteen moons, and you shall find something that will be of a great benefit in nourishing you and your children to the latest generations.’ They did so and, to their surprise, found plants they had never seen before; but which, from that ancient time, have been constantly cultivated among us to our great advantage. Where her right hand touched the ground they found maize; where her left hand touched it they found kidney- beans.’ … The good missionary, disgusted with this idle tale, said, ‘What I delivered to you were sacred truths; but what you tell me is mere fable, fiction, and falsehood.’ The Indian, offended, replied, ‘My brother, it seems your friends have not done you justice in your education; they have not well instructed you in the rules of common civility. You saw that we, who understand and practice these rules, believed all your stories, why do you refuse to believe ours?'”

I have much, much more, but I hope that even so sanctimonious a dullard as yourself might actually get the idea.

You’re certainly on the right site to constantly display your arrogance and ignorance though.

History proves you wrong. Just look at what happened when Rome, Greece, and other great societies turned to a progressive stance and turned away from their morals, ethics, etc. They all fell apart by force or by imploding. The communists, Nazis, progressives, libturds, secularists, are all so called progressive movements, but what did they bring? Death, suffering, people starving, civil war, etc. So who are you to say history agrees with you? Just another liar on this site. Because you are penalized by the IRS if you opt out, it will dissolve all private insurance, and will have people pay for things that they do not agree with, for whatever reason (abortion, BCP, etc.), which this, by itself is tyranny. Something that out Christian founding fathers did not want and you cannot prove otherwise, you lying traitor. Also, you know that I have posted as being a natural born caucasian male that is fluent in Korean and English. I’ll bet that I’m better at both than you are. Your willful ignorance of history is as appalling as it is unsurprising. Yes Hitler, Stalin and others called themselves “progressives” just like you and Benedict Arnold call(ed) yourselves “patriots”. Rome and Greece (and others) fell due to the kind of pseudo-conservative arrogance you display; so sure that they (the leasers and other elite) were right or untouchable that their corruption led to their downfall.

Take Rome, for instance. During the late Roman Republic, elections became staggeringly expensive, with equally deplorable results. Caesar reportedly borrowed so heavily for one political campaign, he feared he would be ruined, if not elected. Our 2012 election reportedly cost $3 billion. All of it was raised from private sources – often creating the appearance, or the reality, that our leaders are beholden to special interest groups.

During the late Roman Republic period, one of the main roads to wealth was holding public office, and exploiting such positions to accumulate personal wealth. Today, Congressman, Senators and their staffs leverage their government service to move to private sector positions that pay three to ten times or more their government compensation.

Similar to the late Roman Republic, the US – for the past 100 years — has either been fighting a war, recovering from a war, or preparing for a new war: WW I (1917-18), WW II (1941-1945), Cold War (1947-1991), Korean War (1950-1953), Vietnam (1953-1975), Grenada (1983), Gulf War (1990-1991), Afghanistan (2001-ongoing), and Iraq (2003-2011). And, this list is far from complete.

Foreign wars lead to growing influence, by foreign powers and interests, on the Republic’s political leaders — true for Rome and true for us. In the past century, foreign embassies, agents and lobbyists have proliferated in our nation’s capital; especially during Rethuglicon administrations.

As the fortunes of Rome’s aristocracy increasingly derived from foreign lands, Roman policy was shaped to facilitate these fortunes. American billionaires and corporations increasingly influence our elections. In many cases, they are only nominally American – with interests not aligned with those of the American public. For example, Fox News is part of international media group News Corp., with over $30 billion in revenues worldwide. Is Fox News’ jingoism a product of News Corp.’s non-U.S. interests?

In the period just before the Roman Republic’s fall, the Roman middle class was crushed — destroyed by cheap overseas slave labor. In our own day, we’ve witnessed rising income inequality, a stagnating middle class, and the loss of American jobs to overseas workers who are paid less and have fewer rights.

Rome’s late Republic used various methods to reduce the power of common citizens. The GOP has so effectively gerrymandered Congressional districts that, even though House Republican candidates received only about 48 percent of the popular vote in the 2012 election — they ended up with the majority (53 percent) of the seats.

The Roman Republic, like ours, relied on a system of checks and balances. Compromise is needed for this type of system to function. In the end, the Roman Republic lost that spirit of compromise, with politics increasingly polarized between Optimates (the rich, entrenched elites) and Populares (the common people). Sound familiar? Compromise is in noticeably short supply in our own time as well; this time from the Rethuglicons. For example, there were more filibusters between 2009 and 2010 than there were in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s combined. And this Congressional term has put the previous term’s record filibuster number to shame.

All of these are due to “conservative” machinations then and now.

I call myself “Progressive Republican” as an homage to the brief period after the founding of the GOP by the more progressive faction of the dissolving Whig Party based on the principles of fiscal and social responsibility. Sadly, less than twenty years later they had sold out those principles to the robber barons of the late nineteenth century and have pretty much been the lackeys of Big Money ever since (with a few notable exceptions that I may or may not mention later. We’ll see.) THESE are the REAL RINOs.

You claim that the Rethuglicon-authored legislation that is now referred to as “Obamacare” is unconstitutional. Genuinely qualified legal authorities disagree. You are clearly not among this group. It will NOT “dissolve all private insurance”. It was designed by the Heritage Foundation (the actual source of the legislation) to reinforce private insurance by mandating that everyone purchase some. Talk about your captive consumer. Obama proposed a universal healthcare system for all citizens that would’ve been similar to medicare and suggested it COMPETE with private insurers since Rethuglicons are constantly claiming that private industry can do anything more cost-effectively than the government. They were able to get Obama to capitulate and drop the government-sponsored portion of the bill and left us with only private insurers to choose from.

“…and will have people pay for things that they do not agree with, for whatever reason (abortion, BCP (sic), etc.), which this, by itself is tyranny”. so long as there have been taxes there have been people decrying it being used for things they don’t agree with or otherwise disapprove. Y’know, like WWII? There were hundreds of thousands if not millions who complained about their tax dollars being used to help Pollacks, Jews, Catholics, retards, gypsies, etc. Not to mention and will have people pay for things that they do not agree with, for whatever reason (abortion, BCP, etc.), which this, by itself is tyranny of other events before and since.

“Something that out Christian founding fathers did not want and you cannot prove otherwise, you lying traitor.” as if they were all Christians which they weren’t. They weren’t even all the same types. There were Anglicans, Catholics, Lutherans, etc., and they most certainly did NOT see eye-to-eye on everything. Any historical scholar knows that.

“… you know that I have posted as being a natural born caucasian (sic) male that is fluent in Korean and English.” And just how would I “know” this” are you so self-centered to think that I would research the likes of you? What makes you so “important”? Well, besides you ego, that is…

“I’ll bet that I’m better at both than you are.” Korean, certainly. Your alleged native tongue…? Well what you’ve driveled this far begs otherwise.

“Nice attempt at misdirection and duck and cover, but you have failed miserab ly (sic).” No such attempt on my part. Once again, the failure is yours.

You brag about posting your sources. So what? Posting disreputable disinformation site as if they were credible only proves my previous point about your willful ignorance. And for this you say, “Must not have any education.” Do you know anything about proofreading? How to use your Spell-check? And then you cite ANOTHER discredited, disreputable FRWNJ disinformation site.

            Pff.

“So just go home and let the patriots try to right the path this country is taking back to the ways of our Christian founding.” You mean like how the Puritans banned Quakers and made their presence punishable by death? Their “city upon a hill” was a theocracy that brooked no dissent, religious or political.

Or are you referring to Anglo-American antipathy toward Catholics—especially French and Spanish Catholics which was pronounced and often reflected in the sermons of such famous clerics as Cotton Mather as well as statutes that discriminated against Catholics in matters of property and voting? Anti-Catholic feelings even contributed to the revolutionary mood in America after King George III extended an olive branch to French Catholics in Canada with the Quebec Act of 1774, which recognized their religion.

In fact when George Washington dispatched Benedict Arnold on a mission to court French Canadians’ support for the American Revolution in 1775, he cautioned Arnold NOT to let their religion get in the way. “Prudence, policy and a true Christian Spirit,” Washington advised, “will lead us to look with compassion upon their errors, without insulting them.” After Arnold betrayed the American cause, he publicly cited America’s alliance with Catholic France as one of his reasons for doing so.

In newly independent America, there was a crazy quilt of state laws regarding religion. In Massachusetts, only Christians were allowed to hold public office, and Catholics were allowed to do so only after renouncing papal authority. In 1777, New York State’s constitution banned Catholics from public office (and would do so until 1806). In Maryland, Catholics had full civil rights, but Jews did not. Delaware required an oath affirming belief in the Trinity. Several states, including Massachusetts and South Carolina, had official, state-supported churches.

In 1779, as Virginia’s governor, Thomas Jefferson had drafted a bill that guaranteed legal equality for citizens of all religions—including those of no religion—in the state. It was around then that Jefferson famously wrote, “But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.” But Jefferson’s plan did not advance—until after Patrick Henry introduced a bill in 1784 calling for state support for “teachers of the Christian religion.”

Future President James Madison stepped in. In a carefully argued essay titled “Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments,” he eloquently laid out reasons why the state had no business supporting Christian instruction. Signed by some 2,000 Virginians, Madison’s argument became a fundamental piece of American political philosophy, a ringing endorsement of the secular state that should be as familiar to students of American history as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution as you claim to be.

Among Madison’s fifteen points was his declaration that “the Religion then of every man must be left to the conviction and conscience of every…man to exercise it as these may dictate. This right is in its nature an inalienable right.”

He also made the point that any believer of any religion should understand: that the government sanction of a religion was, in essence, a threat to religion. “Who does not see,” he wrote, “that the same authority which can establish Christianity, in exclusion of all other Religions, may establish with the same ease any particular sect of Christians, in exclusion of all other Sects?” Madison was writing from his memory of Baptist ministers being arrested in his native Virginia back in the day.

Madison also noted that Christianity had spread in the face of persecution from worldly powers, not with their help. Christianity, he contended, “disavows a dependence on the powers of this world…for it is known that this Religion both existed and flourished, not only without the support of human laws, but in spite of every opposition from them.”

Recognizing the idea of America as a refuge for the protester or rebel, Madison also argued that Henry’s proposal was “a departure from that generous policy, which offering an Asylum to the persecuted and oppressed of every Nation and Religion, promised a lustre to our country.”

After long debate, Patrick Henry’s bill was defeated, with the opposition outnumbering supporters 12 TO 1! Now what does THAT tell you?

Instead, the Virginia legislature took up Jefferson’s plan for the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE! In 1786, the Virginia Act for Establishing Religious Freedom, modified somewhat from Jefferson’s original draft, became law. The act is one of three accomplishments Jefferson included on his tombstone, along with writing the Declaration and founding the University of Virginia. He omits his presidency of the United States. After the bill was passed, Jefferson proudly wrote that the law “meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew, the Gentile, the Christian and the Mahometan, the Hindoo and Infidel of every denomination.”

Madison wanted Jefferson’s view to become the law of the land when he went to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1787 after the failure of the Articles of Confederation. And as framed in Philadelphia that year, the U.S. Constitution clearly stated in Article VI that federal elective and appointed officials “shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution, but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

This passage—along with the facts that the Constitution does NOT mention God or a deity (except for a pro forma “year of our Lord” date) and that its very first amendment FORBIDS Congress from making laws that would infringe of the free exercise of religion—attests to the founders’ resolve that America be a SECULAR REPUBLIC. The men who fought the Revolution may have thanked Providence and attended church regularly—or not. But they also fought a war against a country in which the head of state was the head of the church. Knowing well the history of religious warfare that led to America’s settlement, they clearly understood both the dangers of that system and of sectarian conflict.

It was the recognition of that divisive past by the founders—notably Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Madison—that secured America as a secular republic. As president, Washington wrote in 1790: “All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunity of citizenship. …For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens.”

He was addressing the members of America’s oldest synagogue, the Touro Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island where his letter is read aloud every August. In closing, he wrote specifically to the Jews a phrase that applies to Muslims as well: “May the children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other inhabitants, while every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and figtree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.”

As for Adams and Jefferson, they would disagree vehemently over policy, but on the question of religious freedom they were united. In their seventies, with a friendship that had survived some VERY serious political conflicts, Adams and Jefferson could look back with satisfaction on what they both considered their greatest achievement—their role in establishing a secular government whose legislators would never be required, or permitted, to rule on the legality of theological views.”

In fact, late in his life, James Madison wrote a letter summarizing his views: “And I have no doubt that every new example, will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt. will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”

I never said that history agrees with me. I never implied it, nor did I give you cause to infer that. For you to have done so only proves to all what a liar you are which you reinforce (again) with the lie (again), “You need both love of country and faith in GOD to be a patriot. This leaves you out.”

    • Karolyn

People that are pro-choice have nothing to do with what a pregnant woman does, as it should be. We are not here to tell other people what to do and force our beliefs on others. That’s called communism. I may not agree with you, but I respect your rights; and mine should be respected as well.

      • Frank Kahn

I am sorry, I don’t get your point. My reference was a response to him calling soldiers “baby killers”.

But, I will tell you that you are totally wrong when you use the word right when talking about pregnancy and abortions. It is not a right, it is a condoned acceptance of killing someone that the mother does not love.

        • Nadzieja Batki

Frank, it is not only that the woman kills a baby she does not love, but it also tells that she had no love for the man she had sex with. So there is something screwy with that woman’s brain because she chose the guy to have sex with.

          • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

“SEX” is God’s creation. And it was created JUST for the MARRIAGE.

“23And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and
flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, and they shall become ONE FLESH.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” (Genesis 2:23-25)

            ***On the Hebrew Adam means “man”;
Husband on Hebrew is “Ish” and Wife is “Isha” (which means “she was taken out of Man”; she is part of him)

“4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.”
            (1Corinthians 7:4)

Which means: Body of wife belongs to husband; and
            husband’s body belongs to wife.

            “SEX” ≠ “becoming ONE FLESH”.

To “becoming ONE FLESH” first it requires that the couple become ONE soul (EMOTION) and ONE spirit (MIND). Without such unity marriage NEVER will survive.

Without the unity of SOULS (emotions) and SPIRIT (minds) the “SEX” is just short physical pleasure (orgasm) And lust NEVER was a LOVE. Lust = “dry” sex.

          • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

God is Trinitarian: God Father, Son and Spirit.
Trinity means commUNITY – community of relations, fellowship (derived from Latin: com – “with, together” + unus “ONENESS, union”).

            Man also is Trinitarian.
Human trinity: spirit, soul and body.
            1) Spirit – communicates with soul
            2) Soul – communicates with body
            3) Body – communicates with others

Human spirit also communicates with God’s Spirit. God’s Spirit communicates with human soul where conscience lives. And man acts according to his conscience.

Alondra that was really excellent!!! Thank you.

          • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

Yes, we are made “in the image of God”. And people do not understand what it means, even who claims to be a Christian.

26 “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:23)

***From the very beginning God reveals that He is Trinitarian: “Us” and “Our“.

Please read all chapter Genesis 1 and pay attention that after each His creation God says: “And God saw that IT
            WAS GOOD.”

But after He created man, God did not say that. (???)

Thank you and spread the TRUTH, which is God, our Heavenly Father, Who loves us and waits for us.

Please read read The Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7)

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 “Rejoice with me, for I HAVE FOUND MY SHEEP WHICH WAS LOST!

And the Parable of the Lost Son (Luke 15:11-32)

32“…your brother WAS DEAD AND IS ALIVE AGAIN, and WAS LOST AND IS FOUND.”

“Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6)

          • Frank Kahn

Yes, but we risk the ridicule of liberals when we point out that her decision is due to the lack of normally acceptable moral character. It is also a lack of normal acceptance of moral responsibility for her actions.

        • Nadzieja Batki

Frank, it is not only that the woman kills a baby she does not love, but it also tells that she had no love for the man she had sex with. So there is something screwy with that woman’s brain because she chose the guy to have sex with.

      • JeffH

        Where did Frank mention “pro-choice”?

K says “We are not here to tell other people what to do and force our beliefs on others. That’s called communism.”

Karolyn, that’s exactly what the ignorant supporters of our Marxist/communist government have been doing in all phases of our society…or haven’t you been paying attention.

Taxpayers don’t get a choice in denying their taxmoney from subsidizing abortions or anything else…taxpayers are forced(communism?)to pay taxes under the threat of incarceration.

The so called “pro-choice” activists, have an interesting concept of a culture of responsibility. That is to promote a culture that detaches sex from love and responsibility, that minimizes the central importance of family, that justifies youth sex, promiscuity, and the “hook-up” culture. In short, a culture which encourages people to relate to each other in the same callous way as it encourages women to relate to the unborn children that often result from it all.

Then they want taxpayers, other people, to foot the bill.

Is it any wonder we live in a country in which we are drowning in debt directly as a result of this culture of entitlement?

Planned Parenthood, which rakes in hundreds of millions in the abortion business, actively discourages women from going to crisis pregnancy centers.

On the Planned Parenthood website, they call these centers “fake clinics…that have a history of giving women wrong and biased information”.

Don’t tell me that the government doesn’t subsidize PP abortions either.

Did you know that under Obamacare, “federal tax-based subsidies will begin in 2014 to subsidize millions of private insurance plans that will cover abortion-on-demand, including some plans (‘multi-state plans’) that will be administered by the federal government.”

And also she is an ignoramus or distortion-ist as any extreme Liberal radical

In her interview she said: “You cannot be my friend and use that word around me. It shows my age, but I feel strongly about it. … I always think of the MILLIONS of people who heard that as their last word (“n”) as they were hanging from a tree”

      But the truth is:
According to information gleaned from the archives at the Tuskegee Institute, 4,743 were lynched between 1882 and 1968 — NOT the millions claimed by Winfrey.

Of the 4,743 people lynched during that period, about one in four — 1,297 — WERE WHITE.

So the total was 3,446 BLACKS lynched, NOT MILLIONS !!!
      http://newsbusters.org/blogs/joe-newby/2013/07/31/oprah-winfrey-falsely-claims-millions-black-americans-were-lynched

Yep, there is NOTHING new under the Sun:
“Vanity of vanities, all is vanity … The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it arose … All the rivers run into the sea, Yet the sea is not full … That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.” – King Solomon (Ecclesiastes 1)

To create a liberial, institute government breeding programs on certain groups of idoit bi-pedal huminroids. Be sure to add liberially large doses of drugs and the behavior of porcine organisms. These humoids become behavior modified to beleive in and become worthless lazy azzed, 2 legged porcine humanoids that squeal at the government troughs and government huts. To be a Democrat office holder any abhorant behavior is a plus for the party supporters, the more questionable the behavior against USA social norms. Probably nothing more than coincidence? Or is it? You be the judge…if you dare!

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head.

    Now it gets really weird.

    Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.

    Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln.

    Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy…?, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.

Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named “Ford.”

Kennedy was shot in a car called “Lincoln” made by “Ford.”

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

    And here’s the “kicker”:

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

    AND……………….:

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse…

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater…

How ironic, as we have been posting for two days the sickness
of liberalism. It is indeed the scourge of this once great nation, a disease

giving ignorance a political voice. Politicians, a complicit radical left MSM

As a cancer, liberalism must be surgically removed, one generous cut

off the network television stations. When advertising revenues dry up,
    so will the sycophantic networks.

And what does it take to “cure” the Republican Disease? It’s simple. Just have something affect the Repug.personally. We know that all it takes for a right winger to briefly emerge from the bubble on the issue of gay rights is a gay son. Likewise, all it takes for one to wise up about the Party’s opposition to Obamacare is to get sick and be denied insurance.

The Repug 11th Commandment (maybe the 1st) is “I’ve got mine. Who cares about you?” As soon as the Repug is personally impacted, he sees the light. Until then, well, empathy is not a word understood by those on the right. If they’re not Black, they can’t imagine racial discrimination. If they’re not poor, they can’t imagine that poor people have any problems except having to drive something other than a Mercedes. If they have health insurance, then anyone who doesn’t probably doesn’t need or deserve it anyway.
