On another site I said that the government (democrats in this case) can have my guns after my great great great great great grandchildren are dead. Unless their children want to hang on to them too.

  • Michael J.

When they come to my door, they will be instructed to speak into the intercom. Which of course is a long blued tube with internal spiral grooves.

“It is our duty still to endeavor to avoid war; but if it shall actually take place, no matter by whom brought on, we must defend ourselves. If our house be on fire, without inquiring whether it was fired from within or without, we must try to extinguish it.”

Aren’t you supposed to hand the guns over, bullets first?

      • alex

        yes but keep the cartridges!

Yes Alex! You got THAT right! Keep the cartridges for RELOADING!!!!!!!

“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference-they deserve a place of honor with all that is good.”

      George Washington

“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”

      George Washington

I agree with George Washington that the people sould be armed and ready for emergences, like wars, but in these days, it seems that the progressives are fighting against the people of this country. We need to take a stand. Thank you.

        sook young,
The global elites seek to disarm and control us by using the timid sheepishness of the clueless progressives who will be shocked into reality only when a jackboot is placed squarely on their neck.

We are the one person and the 5th columners (Libs, progressives, secularists, and other low life cowards and traitors) are the 99. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot.

P.S. Where is Rob “acorns” Smith on this issue? Isn’t he supposedly pro guns?

    • Steve

Blah Blah Blah…. Talk is extremely cheap these days. Balls are extremely rare, especially in the most spineless country on the planet where no one has had to mortally fight for their life, let alone freedom of themselves or their children/grandchildren(And no, not fighting for the freedom of some corporate entities to make billions from stealing oil or protecting their illicit drug interests).

If all the talk amounted to anything much at all, it would have never come this far before things were rectified with harsh vigilance as our founders expected from us.

Oh sure, Im sure their will be some harsh words said when they come, but that will easily be resolved when they put a few rounds in one of your family members. While you may think YOU are ready to have “cold dead finger” syndrome, …how about your family? Lets lets say you get a few of the scumbags when they try to get in…When you hole up in your house, is their some thing that moral barrier that prevents them from having a Waco style bon fire with with your kiddies being the delightful post hotdog smores? They wont have a problem with doing it right in front of everybody…it sends a clear message. They have done it before(Waco, OKC, 911, etc.) on large scale, they wont hesitate on some petty gun owner with a redneck complex.

Will you hold true to your rhetoric principles in the middle of the night when the flashbang is thrown thru the window, followed by the squad of All-American Marines(fighting for our “freedoms” and “upholding their Constitutional oathe”) burst into your bedroom just giddy with hope for the chance provocation that they may engage with extreme prejudice on any target? Will the police(if not with them at entry) protect or investigate these criminal intruders? Or will they help ransack the house of not only weapons, but anything of value that they can carry away? Do you think anyone is coming to the rescue? How much back up do you think will be needed to begin to compete with their logistical support? Did the neighbor come and help? Or did they close their blinds and cower in silence in their basements hoping not to draw attention and attract the terrorist hoard?

When the time comes, a good portion of the talk will turn to urine. Expect that…….THEY ARE ! We have shown them that pathetic slave behavior for decades now.

You forgot Ruby Ridge! All that, and NOBODY showed up to help in any of those places!!`

Oh but it would be so easy to take guns from the Chicken Little, scaredy cat, wet-their-pants-every-day-over-the-UN, libertarians, survivalists, and conservatives. All you have to do is shout “Look over there, they’re building a FEMA camp!”; “Look there’s one of Obama’s Death Panels!”, ” Oh God, look here comes the UN troops to conquer America!” Just shout out any one of their crazed, idiotic, paranoid fantasies that a normal six-year-old would not believe, and they will around whirl around, wet their pants, and start writing out another check to the fat cats at the NRA. That’s when you zonk them on the head, and take their urine-soaked guns. That is if they don’t shoot themselves first in a panic over Plan 21, the NWO, the Illuminati, the Rothchilds, or the Roswell Martians. Dopes like them are the easiest people in the world to trick and manipulate. Just look at the NRA propaganda or any crazed right wing site for your proof. In fact right here would be a good place to start

      • muse1876

I guess you still believe that the KKK was started by Reps.or that the Muslims didn’t believe in Hitler. What you espouse shows you have not done your homework.

      • eddie47d

More snippy rebuttals from the right instead of honest claims to refute what Mark said. Muse 1876, the Klan and Muslims were irrelevant to his comment so why the diatribe? Doesn’t matter who controlled the Klan they always had a Conservative philosophy whether when they were Democrats in the past or Right Wingers in the present. They are still the same old evil and creepy bunch of Hoodlums. The Muslims were exploited by more than Hitler. Try the Turks, the British and even us Americans so what is your point?

      • Scott

Mark, would you care to see the FEMA camps on Google maps?

Here’s a good piece to add to your NRA propaganda theory.

U.N. ATT Conference Comes to an Impasse

The Conference on the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (U.N. ATT) has broken down and will not report a draft treaty to the member nations.

This is a big victory for American gun owners, and the NRA is being widely credited for killing the U.N. ATT.

        Thank you NRA and GOA.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Dont worry about mark! He thinks the government is gonna take care of him. He’ll be the first to go. Hope you enjoy the FEMA camps, mark! They’ll take real good care of you!

      • http://yahoo Rottweiler

Wow talk about a lot of pent up liberal anger. Did Chick Fil A get you by the astroglide or what? Last time I checked the liberals want everything for free including socialized medicine and can’t fight their way out of a “green” paper bag. I see dozens of elitist patients like you a day, the egotists, the I know what is better for you types yet the rules never apply to them. If you are in fear of guns so much why do the libs hit the ground running every time there is danger? Libs never confront anything on their own they need a huge lobbying group behind them like the Unions, La Raza, Mecha, MALDF and ACLU. In fact you seem to articulate like one, I suspect you are a creepy ACLU anti-American, always fighting for the criminal’s rights never the victims individual. Don’t worry your liberal religion is so transparent that hopefully your community organizer will go up in a puff of smoke like his great 4 years systematically taking apart our liberties and freedoms, like the choice of medical treatment. Hope you get what is coming with nationalized medicine and that is “nothing” but rationalized healthcare. Nothing for you! Enjoy your cancer.

      • JC

Jeff, they’re not getting any credit, but the government of Canada also refused to go along with registration of privately owned firearms. Good on em!

I love Ben’s reference to GM…do we all realize that GM products are now 70% “Made in China”. They used the too big to fail bail out money to mostly move overseas…their own CEO says so.

        Go Ford! :)

      • JeffH

eddie, yer killin’ me!(not really) The only people wearing “hoods” these days are Obamabots and ignorant liberals like yourself who prefer to be led to “slaughter” like sheep rather than face reality and see what’s happening around you. Now oil up your leather collar, shine that bell so they know wjere you are and say bahhhhhhh!

Mark, everything you have listed has been PROMISED here to be in the works but strangly has NEVER happened! It reminds me of the two screen list of serious crimes that Slick Willy and Hillary had committed that the wingnuts KNEW HAD BEEN COMMITTED! 15 YEARS LATER AND NOT ONE HAS BEEN PROVED BY ANY LAW ENFORCE AGENCY. SAME WITH THIS MINDLESS LIST OF CONSPIRACIES!!
The NRA front man here has called the COLO. massacre an incident where there were “several killed” Not even the guts to say the number of innocent people killed !!!! Holmes “needed” an assault rifle for protection like a hog needs a note book!!

      • eddie47d

Is that your new vampire act there Jeff H or just a refurbished one? The NRA /GOA will lead us to slaughter faster with their reckless actions than anyone on the left. When they take the jack booted thugs out of their organizations then maybe I’ll again listen to their drivel.

      • JeffH

nc says “The NRA front man here has called the COLO. massacre an incident where there were “several killed” Not even the guts to say the number of innocent people killed !!!! Holmes “needed” an assault rifle for protection like a hog needs a note book!!”

I say you’re a liar! I’ve searched high and low for such a comment from any NRA “front man” without results. Your comment regarding “assault rifle” is just as ignorant.

What is an “assault rifle” in your mind? You mat not be aware of this but the FBI doesn’t even list “assault rifle” crimes in their reports because “rifles” are used in less than 1 percent of violent crimes

Violent crime has been falling steadily in this country since 2006. Our 2010 rate of 403.6 per 100,000 is the lowest it has been since 1991, and preliminary reports indicate 2011 shows a drop of 4 percent from the previous year.

This comes courtesy of the FBI Uniform Crime Reports or Bureau of Justice Statistics, and can be found for free with a simple Google search for anyone interested in the truth.

      • eddie47d

More smoke and mirrors Jeff? You do it so well and are a master of deception. “Regular” gun deaths are indeed down but mass murders are up and that trend hasn’t changes in over 20 years. Almost all involved automatic weapons. Not only that most Americans are so desensitized by those continual “events” that they don’t realize that there are 20 each and every year on average and since 1976. You can water down the situation and be a lackey for the NRA/GOA all you want but it won’t change the reality of what is going on.

        • Liberal liars blow chunks

Automatic weapons eddie? You need to do a little research, or at least learn the difference between automatic & semi-automatic before trying to lay “your version of smoke & mirrors” on us. Or do you subscribe to obamas theory that “if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth”? Don’t feel too bad though. ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC & the rest of the lame stream media don’t know the difference either so you’re in good company.

      • JeffH

eddie, it’s nice to have you back…the board’s been a little short on stupid with you gone…glad to see you’re making up for your absence in spades.

Now exactly where did I get it wrong again? I know I’m right but can you provide anything more than stupid to refute my info?

But then you are not capable of telling the truth.

      • eddie47d

Then Nadzieja why have you lied so much about Liberals. Do you know what is in the individual mind or are you using some special government program to gather your information?

Michelle Malkin is a flame thrower and little different than Ann Coulter. They are two babbling “broads” who continually make outrageous statement to enrage their listeners. Yes the left has their share of incendiary commentators but if you are concerned about real facts or at least a wee bit of truth you would hardly use them for references.

      • JeffH

eddie, you’re the one babbling…at least those two “broads” have a brain and back up what they say…you can’t. I know they “pi$s you off” ,but, better to be pi$sed off than pis$ed on”!

What is wrong with using these ladies as sources? What women should I use Eddie I could use Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Sarah Palin, Ekizabeth Cady Stanton, Elizabeth Dole, Lucrecia Mott, Susan B. Anthony, Abigail Adams, just to name a few. But if I did, someone from the left, like you, would find some reason to attack them, like their politics, religion, or lifestyle. You have already attcked Mitt Romney’s wife for being a tay at home mother, which really shows how little the liberals know about motherhood and raising children. Th sacrifices we women have to make for our children. Also in this election year, Obama and the liberals are trying to play the different races against each other. I thought a good leader would try to bring us all together regardless of race, gender, religion, or creed.

That is why I put the name broads in parentheses because they surely aren’t ladies. They fib so much their message is lost but Jeff will fall for them. Nothing wrong with using Harriet Tubman but most on this site may disapprove of her because of her staunch fight against the South.

      • http://naver samurai

  • Jeff P.

Gun grabbers and drones make good targets. They might take mine, but it will be after the fight. NEVER give up your guns.

    • eddie47d

You all need to write a book called Gun Fantasies Galore. Listening to you is always the same, looking for your heroic moment and trying to save the day. At least in your minds that is. You’ve abuse the Second Amendment long enough and it is getting rather tiring hearing all the excuses for needing a high clipped weapon. After 3 years you all have painted that same old picture and the irrational violence keeps happening. Yes Sir keep the nutjobs well supplied then set back and drink to the chaos that you weaned in our society. As onerous as Fast and Furious was it doesn’t exonerate the private gun peddlers who have done far more damage and enhanced America’s wild west image. Those involved in Fast and Furious should be in jail but so should the rest of the gun runners who permeate our society. There are too many gun owners who are no longer sane or rational and yes I’m talking about a few legal owners in the mix. They have taken this issue far beyond defending their homes and property or even defending America. Some of you even brag about being the bully and will do anything to achieve your goal. The Second Amendment is nothing more to some of you than bragging rights in having 50,000 rounds of ammunition stored in your bunker. No wonder there are so many nutjobs and even street punks carrying high clip automatics to impress their friends and to be able to threaten their enemies. Hey it’s all acceptable anymore so I hope you sleep well in all your egotistical glory.

      • Dennis48e

Ah yes, more specious prevarications from little eddie offered up without one shread of proof other than his rather active but feeble imagination.

        eddie47d,
Welcome back, hope your recovery was not too strenuous. Sorry to see that the lobotomy didn’t take.

I can’t help but notice the irony of the MSM portrayed dangers of guns in the hands of lawful conservatives forcast upon a gullible public, while nearly all the offenders are admitted lefties. Are these madmen really liberal jihadists willing to sacrifice themselves on the alter of the messiah?

      • eddie47d

General Bull needs to take the General out of his name if he is that naive about weapons. You can’t possibly be that dumb about high capacity weapons and ammo clips or are you?

Excellent, Ben. This one had me in stitches…yup, “the jobs are right around the corner”… promises goofy. Lol!

This is just the beginning of Cia-sleeper-cells opening fire in crowded places, there will be more. Consider these awakened sleepers as; target-practice!

Bloomberg? What can i say about that old-demented-fart that hasn’t already been said? Get rid of him, he’s a looney-tune!

Joe Biden? Old Joe needs more media attention. Why would main-stream-media hide such great comedy talent?

Your husband has to be totally paranoid if he keeps a AK-47 next to his bed.Time to check him in for evaluation from those old war wounds. He might snap some night. He should have tried Vietnam where the enemy could be only a tree branch away. That can make a person real jittery and susceptible to paranoia. Thankfully I learned the difference between the reality of war and protecting ones home.

      • JeffH

eddie, you’ve learned only two things in your lifetime, how to be stupid and how to be a progressive shill.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

eddie says: Your husband has to be totally paranoid if he keeps a AK-47 next to his bed.

No eddie, not paranoid, rather, prudent; and aware of the danger of living in a country where criminals are allowed free reign, and the law-abiding are given no protection, or any assurance that they will be protected, for that matter. Therefore, it falls on each one of us, to take up the responsibility of protecting ourselves, and our families.

The same cannot be said of the limp-wristed-progressives, who pee themselves at the mere mention of the word gun, much less be expected to protect themselves or their families, but would rather offer their rear-ends to the would be perpetrators rather then man-up when the situation calls for it. But don’t worry, you sissy boys can hide in your closets, and whimper and cower away, while the real men will take care of business!

Rahm Emmanuel was the one who said “Never let a good crisis go to waste”. With the increasing violence in his city, that he is allgedly in control of, he is choosing to let Louis Farakhan come and assist him in busting heads. I wonder if he is going to ban Obama from coming back to Chicago, since the POTUS has said that he is against gay marriage. Since he has tried to ban Chik-Fila, it would be equitable if he banned Obama.

Every time I check in here, it’s the same old, same old. The shill of the day controlling the entire direction of the discussion.

Today mark is on duty, spewing the usual idiocy, and then there’s a string of responses.

When will everyone learn that we just ignore them, they’ll go away. And even if they don’t, who cares? They’re paid to post such drivel, and it’s not like they’re here to learn anything.

It’s always the same. No matter what we say, we’re right-wing nut cases. That’s the standard response of a shill, and it works every time.

Personally, I’m over it. Eliciting aggravation from conservative bloggers is exactly what they’re paid to do, and that is despicable. Why give them what they are after instead of what they deserve…which is NOTHING.

      • Nadzieja Batki

Kate8, I agree with your post. Leftists/Liberals, when they come to this site, behave as if they were yapping dogs and attempt to silence all other voices. They have no concept of Freedom of Speech so they can’t control themselves or don’t want to.

      • Kate8

Nadzieja – Yes, but it’s more than that. These are organized left-wing groups which hire bone-headed, politically ignorant zombies to post on conservative blogsites. In fact, people are hired because they are clueless and will spew whatever ideological nonsense they are told to spew. Their purpose is to disrupt conservative blogsites.

This is nothing less than selling one’s soul for money. But then, today’s political climate has made certain that everyone is dumbed-down, and the populace will sell their votes (and their minds) to the highest bidder.

Just notice how these people post. Some days it’s one group, another day it’s a couple of others. And they all sound the same. Each of them post under several names. I remember Bob telling us about a group of them with the same IP address. Duh!

And they all spout the same cr*p over and over. They are entirely predictable.

        http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2012/05/confessions-of-an-ex-internet-shill-2155859.html

BTW, these groups are under investigation by a conservative action group, and soon they will all be exposed.

        • Paul Lind

Reply to Kate 8: I guess I must be one of those “bone-headed, politically ignorant zombies” you mentioned. Thing is no one ever paid me a dime to express my views AND I used to be a republican for 40 years — right up to the day when I received my PhD in political science.

I certainly don’t believe all the dangerous puffery that a few of you spew. You may think you are arming yourself to the teeth for some Noble goal but you are making it even easier for those “gangs, robbers and murderers” to obtain their arsenal. Anytime there is a lucrative business there will always be plenty of folks who will break the rules and help the “other fellow” out in achieving the product they want. The underground economy is alive and well and it is no longer the guy in the trench coat selling watches.I know you all love your weapons free for all that dominates your thinking but its the downside that you are never concerned about that is disturbing. It’s like you left your mind in the bunker and can’t rationalize outside that closed state of being.

For the astute reader it is pretty easy to spot the brainwashed. One of the most obvious clues is that they make lots of claims but never provide links or traceable cites to back them up.

Another obvious clue is the inability to understand simple English. Example:

the United Nations can go to hell and put the fires out and take every Anti-American,communist with them. The Constitution is “Thee Sacred Law of the Land!” The U.S. Senate has committed “Treason” and they know it. Along with the illegal regime, remove and replace.

    • Vigilant

The US Senate has not even voted on the treaty, which does not exist in anything but draft form at this time.

“Treaties must be ratified by two-thirds of the 100-member Senate, or 67 votes. And with pressure mounting from the gun lobby, led by the politically powerful NRA, a bipartisan letter opposing such a treaty already gained the signatures of well over 50 senators.”

Campaigning Democrats have wisely stayed away from the gun control controversy because it is a big loser for them. Pressure from the NRA is not the determining factor. Senators and Representatives know that American sentiment, by a wide margin, is pro-Second Amendment.

      • Kate8

Actually, the NRA sold us out long ago, and is secretly working with the government to incrementally disarm us. Check it out.

That is why true patriots are switching to the GOA.

Good article, Kate8, I wasn’t aware of those goings-on. Schumer is definitely NOT to be included in any list of pro-Second Amendment folks. He’s as Red as they come, and the People’s Republic of New York will continue to vote him in.

The outcome of the Senate debate next week will be interesting.

      • JeffH

Kate8, I have to take issue with you about the NRA. FYI, I belong to both the NRA and the GOA and donate to several other 2nd amendment freedom organizations.

Lou Dobbs pointed out the gun control related language inside the cybersecurity bill on his show yesterday. Sneaky bastardos they are.

      • Kate8

JeffH – The NRA has been largely co-opted. But don’t believe me… check it out. I learned of it a long time ago, so I don’t recall where. But you are good at doing research.

Perhaps someone else here has more knowledge of the details than do I.

      • JeffH

Kate8, I have done a lot of research on the NRA and I don’t believe for one minute that they’ve been co-opted by anyone.
Yes, they have become a huge pro 2nd Amendment force in DC and have a strong and extremely effective pro gun lobby.

If I’m not mistaken, they did have a seat at the UN ATT negotations and the NRA’s Wayne La’Pierre made quite an impressive statement. To my knowledge no other pro gun/2nd Amendment organization had a seat there.

It take huge sums of money to fight in DC and what the NRA has done and is doing to take donations to fund “our fight” is what has made them the strongest pro freedom 2nd Amendment organization in the world.

You can’t fight the anti-gun politics with lip service, you have to fight fire with fire and I honestly feel that is what the NRA does. As big and strong as the GOA is, and I support them equally, they are not at the level of the NRA in terms of political clout. I understand what you’re saying, I’ve heard it often, but I believe you are being misled.

Here’s a link to the NRA/ILA website if you’d like to keep track of what they are doing and have done to protect American’s right to keep and bear arms.
        http://nraila.org/about-nra-ila.aspx

      • Kate8

JeffH – Some while back the NRA was compromising with the anti-gun crowd on legislation. In my mind, there can be NO compromise on this issue.

Like I said, it was some time ago and I don’t recall the details. But I guess we will know by what they do, as sooner or later it all comes out.

      • JeffH

I recall the issue and I did write the NRA and ask for clarification. Here is the bigger picture and I agree and understand why they did it and feel that those that opposed the NRA because of their position are being short sighted. I never felt the NRA was a sell out and still hold that postion.
        _____________________________________________________

STATEMENT FROM THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION ON H.R. 5175, THE DISCLOSE ACT

        Tuesday, June 15, 2010

The National Rifle Association believes that any restrictions on the political speech of Americans are unconstitutional.

In the past, through the courts and in Congress, the NRA has opposed any effort to restrict the rights of its four million members to speak and have their voices heard on behalf of gun owners nationwide.

The NRA’s opposition to restrictions on political speech includes its May 26, 2010 letter to Members of Congress expressing strong concerns about H.R. 5175, the DISCLOSE Act. As it stood at the time of that letter, the measure would have undermined or obliterated virtually all of the NRA’s right to free political speech and, therefore, jeopardized the Second Amendment rights of every law-abiding American.

The most potent defense of the Second Amendment requires the most adamant exercise of the First Amendment. The NRA stands absolutely obligated to its members to ensure maximum access to the First Amendment, in order to protect and preserve the freedom of the Second Amendment.

The NRA must preserve its ability to speak. It cannot risk a strategy that would deny its rights, for the Second Amendment cannot be defended without them.

Thus, the NRA’s first obligation must be to its members and to its most ardent defense of firearms freedom for America’s lawful gun owners.

On June 14, 2010, Democratic leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives pledged that H.R. 5175 would be amended to exempt groups like the NRA, that meet certain criteria, from its onerous restrictions on political speech. As a result, and as long as that remains the case, the NRA will not be involved in final consideration of the House bill.

The NRA cannot defend the Second Amendment from the attacks we face in the local, state, federal, international and judicial arenas without the ability to speak. We will not allow ourselves to be silenced while the national news media, politicians and others are allowed to attack us freely.

The NRA will continue to fight for its right to speak out in defense of the Second Amendment. Any efforts to silence the political speech of NRA members will, as has been the case in the past, will be met with strong opposition.

Now Patriots, thats a blatant act of treason. How much more reason do people need to see who supports the Constitution, and who doesn t. Let the Trials begin!! Long Live the Republic- Semper Fi

      • Vigilant

Dave, I think there are many more than 49 Senators who would vote against the treaty. A bipartisan letter carries no legally binding weight, and you’ll notice that they got precisely 51 signatures, just enough to indicate that the treaty would have no success in the Senate.

To me, that means simply that several Senators (no doubt Democrats) were covering their bets by not committing themselves to a position. If and when the treaty comes up for ratification, those Democrats know they must vote against it or risk losing their constituency.

Mark, you are providing a valuable service to those still trying to determine where they are on the issues. As one matures and grows as a person, the truth about an issue is usually revealed in those that group themselves in a group. The ole “bird of a feather.”

So Mark, your comments do appeal to some. But not to those of the mature, the moral, the master of their own life.

Isn’t it ironic that gun crime is highest where guns are banned? When will the libtards realize that more guns = less gun crime. Switzerland requires EVERY home have a fully automatic machine gun and interestingly enough they have almost no gun crime what so ever…yet Chicago has the highest gun crime anywhere and almost no one is armed…the left can’t really be that stupid. It has to be that they don’t want opposition when they try a hostile socialization of the US. They already banned felons from having firearms and then made everything a felony, yet the Constitution says “Every American” has the right to bear arms, that means NO EXCLUSIONS! All I have to say is I dare anyone to try and take my guns, you better be a better shot than I am….

    • mark

Actually you are dead wrong. It is almost impossible to own a gun in Japan. They have some of the strictest restrictions on gun ownership imagineable. In 2010 they had 5 gun deaths in the entire nation of Japan with a population of 90 million. England also makes it extemely difficult to own guns. Even most of the English police do not carry them. Around 120 in the UK with a population of 65 million were killed with guns in 2010. The United States on the other hand with a population of 300 million there were 21,000 gun deaths. This actually affects life expectancy. Domestic – and not Islamic terrorism – is a significant threat to Americans with the high numbers of gun deaths from our own citizens. This factor along with more important ones such as obesity, diabetes, coronary disease, cancer, etc are why the U.S. ranks 27th now in life expectancy. For most decades of the 20th century we were always in the top 5.

      • alex

mark, the way they figure life expectancy is bs, we have always had people that lived to be more than 100 but because we have fewer babies dying it pushes the overall age up

      • eddie47d

Japan has an older population also which means health care should be enormously expensive(as ours is) yet it is one of the lowest rates in the industrial world. They have fewer people getting sick (excluding Fukushima) and have a very good National health care plan with almost unlimited visits to the doctors office. Even Cuba has a lower death rate in infancy than the USA. Maybe Nadzieja and Alex should be more careful in who they call stupid if you don’t have the facts to back it up. By the way Japan has more folks over 100 than we do (% of population) even with that nuclear disaster.

      • Palin16

Mexico has very strict gun laws and yet 50,000 Mexicans were killed by gunfire last year. How’s that working out for ya?

      • eddie47d

That really sucks which makes the gun runners all over the world and in the USA very culpable in those deaths. Mexico has many wonderful people but the government is as corrupt as a “$3 dollar” Peso. Too many including the police are either scared or in cahoots with the Cartels. When bribery is accepted payment it becomes easy for them to look the other way.

      • John

Let me put things in perspective for you Mark. 106,000 people die in the U.S. from properly prescribed drugs a year, 32,000 from auto accidents. So I guess we should get rid of Doctors, Hospitals, Prescription drugs and all Automobiles. Also a large percent of the people killed by guns were suicides, second largest criminals who probably stole the guns, and without guns the countries you mentioned have much higher suicide rates than the U.S. Japan 32,845 for example. Of the great countries you mentioned without guns, Japan and China are in the top 10 in the world for suicedes. Mark, you should get an award for how to lie with statistics.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Not true about Great Britain (England)! Since they banned guns, gun crimes have risen 40%!!! So do you just LIE and make up crap???

  • Ted

Benji – I have a tip. Don’t go on America’s Got Talent. The show doesn’t have many comedians who are funny, but most are funnier than you are.

I will grant you one point. Most successful comedians don’t try to change people’s minds You don’t either. You assume that your audience makes the same crazy assumptions you do. Since most don’t they turn you off quicker than they turn off C-Span.

    • Vigilant

“Most successful comedians don’t try to change people’s minds…”

You mean like Letterman? Jon Stewart? Bill Maher?

Most Conservatives I know will laugh at self-effacing comedy directed at themselves, because funny is funny. Tight-a$$ed liberals, on the other hand, can’t tolerate any humor directed at themselves.

      • Ted

Actually, Vigilant, I was thinking of Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Jack Benny, Robin Williams, Billy Chrystal, etc.

In the fifties and earlier, the rule for comedians seemed to be: “stay away from politics and religion – they are not funny”.

IMHO, Maher is funny when he strays away from politics. Otherwise he is just doing what Benji is doing – Preaching to the choir.

I’m not sure that you can consider Letterman a comedian any more. His jokes per hour quotient is getting awfully low.

IMHO, John Stewart is the exception that proves the rule. He is both funny and political. Its just that the small minority of people who watch Fox News turn him off when he makes well reasoned criticism of the “news” channel.

      • Vigilant

“In the fifties and earlier, the rule for comedians seemed to be: ‘stay away from politics and religion – they are not funny’”.

Religion perhaps, but certainly not politics. Will Rogers made it the center of his barbs, and Bob Hope always strayed into politics. Difference is, they did it in a generic fashion, not taking political sides.

Maher doesn’t deserve the forum he’s been given to decimate anyone who doesn’t happen to agree with his poltical religious views. His personal attacks and overuse of the four letter word to show his disdain simply demonstrates the paucity of his “humor.”

I agree with you regarding Jon Stewart; I’ve always found him funny, no matter whose ox is being gored.

      • Vicki

        Vigilant writes:
“Tight-a$$ed liberals, on the other hand, can’t tolerate any humor directed at themselves.”

I seem to remember a famous religious leader with that same problem. Leaders name started with an M I believe. His followers even to this day tend to kill those who direct any humor at his memory.

      • Vigilant

        Good point, Vicki.

      • Ted

Of course, if you wan to see a conservative bust a gut laughing, just make a joke critical of Ronald Reagan – NOT!

    • NEFY

Why are you even watching him then

Even though many of you might not read this site because it is labeled “liberal,” you might find this article vey interesting. He makes some good points about the US and guns. Food for thought. And I am not an anti-gun “nut” though I wouldn’t have one. Where I live, most people have them adn they are sold at the local flea market.
    http://www.commondreams.org/view/2012/07/25-2

    • Vigilant

I read it. It’s written by Michael Moore. ‘Nuff said.

      • mark

Yes, Moore has a leftist slant but the statistics in his article are staggering and show that societies that make it extremely difficult for citizens to own guns have virtually zero gun deaths and violence vs. 21-25,000 gun deaths every year in the U.S. And these same societies, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, Holland, etc. have complete political and religious freedom. This clearly debunks the nonsense that we are only free because we have guns. Lots of democracies around the world practice total political and religious freedom while sharply restricting gun ownership. Life expectancy and quality of life in many of these nations is actually higher than in the United States.

      • http://www.facebook.com/WizardKiller Mark Are Reynolds

I want to know where he gets his statistics. Sounds like total hogwash to me. Oh, that’s right, A HOG wrote it! Maybe that’s why. And Mark…why don’t you MOVE to one of those “safe” havens?

      • eddie47d

Seems like Vigilant has blinded himself again and will live in his bubble but you certainly didn’t have the courage to refute anything in the article. That says volumes! If you run from the truth because somebody you don’t like says it then your learning curve is diminished. Maybe you and your snippy friend Reynolds (who didn’t really say anything either) can go out and party on ignorance and then you’ll both be blind.

      • Vicki

It is kind of hard to have gun-deaths without guns. But that didn’t stop people from killing with rocks, sticks, sharp objects and even fists for the centuries before guns were invented.

As Archie Bunker famously said to his daughter, Gloria, on one episode:

Gloria: “Do you know that sixty percent of all deaths in America are caused by guns?”

Archie Bunker: “Would it make you feel any better, little girl, if they was pushed out of windows?”
        http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066626/quotes

      • eddie47d

So are you saying if guns are banned folks would be buying more steak knives to do their dirty deeds? Now rocks aren’t very convienient at the moment although cheap. The old window trick? Naw! Way too many witnesses. I’m not against guns for self protection and strongly believe a family has a right to defend their home or property. It wouldn’t even bother me if someone had an assault weapon locked up in their home and kept it their in case of an national emergency. From their I totally put on the breaks on those multiple clip weapons and ammunition. They are useless and senseless in public and their only purpose is to kill multiple people. The Swiss have learned that and regulate but not ban the ownership of those weapons.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

Funny, you didn’t mention Switzerland, mark. By law, every able-bodied Swiss has to keep a fully loaded, military-issued, assualt-rifle in their home. Yet, the funny thing is, the murder-rate in Switzerland is practically nil, not to mention; zero home-invasions! See if that can get past your kool-aid-soaked-brain!

      • JeffH

Vig LOL! On a side note, gun sales in my heavy anti-gun restricted home state of California are estimated to surpass 3/4 of a million in new sales very soon. Things are lookin’ up…maybe?

      • Kate8

JeffH – I just stumbled on some info that has me reeling and heartsick. In fact, I’m beside myself about it.

I was listening to who has become my FAVE radio host (http://petersantilli.com/) and today they were talking about UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development/Smartgrowth, so I did some research about my own town. I’ve long known that something here has turned very wrong, but didn’t know exactly what was afoot…and I learned that my beautiful county has been targeted by the UN to be the rural CA model for Agenda 21.

I just wrote to my District Supervisor (whom I once met and spoke with, and who is on record as being opposed to this) and asked what we can do. This is terrifying and ominous, and it won’t stop here. It’s spreading everywhere.

Santa Cruz and some other places have banned this plot. But these people have come here from the Bay Area and have brought this diabolical and insidious plan, and have kept it a secret from the populace.

This is not a partisan issue. It is a world issue, and if we don’t all band together to stop it, it will take over our lives…and deaths. The banning of firearms is also a part of this whole agenda of controlled living.

        http://www.postsustainabilityinstitute.org/what-is-un-agenda-21.html

        And for you democrats:

        http://democratsagainstagenda21.com/

Time is running out, folks, and this is nothing less than our survival at stake.

      • Karolyn

To be honest, Vig, I didn’t even read who the author was. All I noticed was that there were some very intresting points made. Just because somebody is a liberal does not mean that they have absolutely nothing of value to say. I believe the same of conservatives, of course.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

mark says: Moore has a leftist slant but the statistics in his article are staggering and show that societies that make it extremely difficult for citizens to own guns have virtually zero gun deaths and violence vs. 21-25,000 gun deaths every year in the U.S. And these same societies…

That’s all well and good, mark, but why not do a break-down on those numbers. Btw, number of deaths related to firearms is closer to 30,000.

Approximately 16,000 suicides using a firearm.

Approximately 12,252 murders by firearms 80% of which are caused by felons/career criminals/gang member activities. USDOJ National Gang Threat Assessment annual report 2009.

Approximately 600 justifiable defensive shootings by both police and citizens.

The remainder in accidental firearms discharges.

But 30,000 deaths related to firearms, mark, is a drop in the bucket when you consider:

800,000 un-born are murdered at the hands of so-called, health-care practitioners.
        And you’re worried about guns?

Number of alcoholic liver disease deaths: 15,183
Number of alcohol-induced deaths, excluding accidents and homicides: 24,518.

        Drunk Driving Accident Statistics: Staggering!
        http://www.edgarsnyder.com/drunk-driving/statistics.html
        And you’re worried about guns?

Pharma drugs; “deaths” totaling 452,780 and “serious outcomes” equaling 2,816,297 occurred during the eleven years from 2000 to 2010 as tabulated from the FDA’s Adverse Event Reporting System for prescription drugs. Each year, approximately 100,000 americans die from prescription drugs, while pharma companies get rich.
        And you’re worried about guns?

There are around 17,000 to 18,000 deaths per year *among* people with AIDS in the US. And you’re worried about guns?

        As well:

        Heart disease: 599,413
        Cancer: 567,628
        Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 137,353
        Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 128,842
        Accidents (unintentional injuries): 118,021
        Alzheimer’s disease: 79,003
        Diabetes: 68,705
        Influenza and Pneumonia: 53,692
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 48,935
        Intentional self-harm (suicide): 36,909

And you’re worried about guns, mark? When one considers the above list of causes of deaths, and compares them to deaths caused by firearms, 30,000, suddenly, guns and a well armed populace, not including the criminal element, doesn’t seem all that scary anymore, does it, mark?

      • Kate8

JeffH – Not at all surprising about Pelosi. What a treasonous piece of disgusting work she is.

And you can be certain that while she helps to herd all of us into 200 sq ft egg crate housing, she’ll have her several mansions, and will use all of the power, water and other amenities she desires. And she’ll eat the best food, too, and won’t have to be bothered with O’care.

These rats make me sick. I can’t wait until they’re sitting in FEMA camps.

      • JeffH

eddie, you’re eating more crow than you know, especially where Switzerland is involved.

Swiss army size: 400,000 (Source: The Swiss Transportation Troops ) (In 1995 the size of the Swiss army was reduced to 400,000 from 625,000.)
Swiss households: 2.8 million (Source: Swiss Statistics)

400,000 full-auto weapons / 2.8 million households = 14 per cent of Swiss households have a full-auto weapon in them. (With the 625,000 figure, it is 22 per cent.) This represents a maximum figure since a household could contain more than one soldier.

“Swiss military ammo must be registered if bought at a private store, but need not be registered if bought at a range. The nation’s 3,000 shooting ranges sell the overwhelming majority of ammunition. Technically, ammunition bought at the range must be used at the range, but the rule is barely known and almost never obeyed.” (Source: What America can learn from Switzerland is that the best way to reduce gun misuse is to promote responsible gun ownership)

In other words, Swiss reservists are free to purchase, possess, and use military ammunition outside the context of direct military service.

Analysis of Switzerland does demolish the simplistic notion “more guns, more gun crime.” More important than the number of guns is their cultural context. In Switzerland, guns are an important element of a cohesive social structure that keeps crime low.

Regular American citizens do not shoot each other in moments of passion; the vast majority of such shootings are perpetrated by thugs with a record of violence and substance abuse.

And contrary to the claims of the anti-gun lobby, Americans are not so careless that they cannot be trusted with potentially dangerous objects like guns. Gun accidents account for less than 2% of the nation’s 92,000 accidental deaths annually.

Suicides have little to do with gun availability. Japan has no guns, while Switzerland is deluged with every gun in the book, and both nations have the same suicide rate.

Of course the more that U.S. governments can do to make gun use in America even more responsible, the better. Switzerland shows how successful governments can be in promoting responsible gun use.

        …and last but not least…
Swiss voters throw out gun law reform
        source: guardian.co.uk, Sunday 13 February 2011

Swiss voters have rejected a proposal to tighten the country’s relaxed gun laws.

With final official results yet to be released, a majority in at least 18 of Switzerland’s 26 cantons voted against the proposal to ban army rifles from homes and impose new requirements for buying other guns.

The proposal would have ended the Swiss tradition of men keeping their army rifles at home – even after completing their military service. Supporters of the reform argued this would have reduced incidents of domestic violence and Switzerland’s high rate of firearms suicide.

The government had argued that existing laws were sufficient to ensure some 2.3m weapons in a country of fewer than 8 million people are not misused.

You can bet I’ll be sending all of my reps, both state and fed, my thoughts and asking what they are doing to fight the UN. I’ll be demanding a total US withdrawl from the UN’s agenda of a global takeover.

Gun ownership is allowed and encouraged in Switzerland. Switzerland is the most heavily-armed nation in the European Union, and they have a large number of armed militias for national defense. These militias keep their guns at home with them. Like the United States, it would be considerably difficult to affect an armed takeover house-by-house in that nation.

Children in Switzerland, especially boys, are encouraged and expected to handle guns in their adolescence and young adulthood, and to handle them safely and professionally.

Also, gun sports, target shooting and other shooting sports are very popular, common and accepted in Switzerland. They are also conducted in an atmosphere of professionalism and safety, and there is very little gun crime there.

Three Cheers for Switzerland; hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray….

Question: why do we allow eddie to continue making a fool of himself?

I’ll stand by what I said about the Swiss gun laws Jeff and company. The only fool is you who stated that that information about the shooting ranges. They can use as much ammo as they like for practice but once they are finished for the day they have to turn in excess ammo in and leave it at the range.

Give them Hell, but I already said this about the Iranians; didn’t I ??

    • mark

Yeah, let’s start another mindless, unwinnable, vastly expensive war! Spend another couple of trillion and accomplish nothing as in Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s a great idea, Erwin. So original, too!

      • Bill

Or we could give the same money to Solindra or some ohter wonderful company that gave vast sums to O for his campaign.

      • mark

No, Bill, the Iraq and Afghan Wars combined will cost tax payers some $2 trillion dollars. Thats 2 thousand billion dollars. Solindra involved $500 million in federal loans. That’s half a billion dollars vs. 2,000 billion dollars. When plant, assets, and equipment is sold in liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings the taxpayers will problably get about $120 million back for a total loss of $380 million . Solindra while a bad investment was a pittance compared to the Iraq and Afghan wars which have not only cost 2,000 billion dollars, 5000 U.S. killed, 50,000 wounded, amputess, paraplegics but also accomplished nothing but have in fact stirred up more Islamic hatred against the United States. They are what the Pentagon calls counterproductive wars. And the Pentagon is; of course the the world’s experts on those. See Vietnam.

      • Shane

So you voting for Obama, Mark? Consistent are we, Mark.

      • eddie47d

What’s your point Shane? When it comes to Iran both Obama and Romney are pushing the buttons. The difference is Obama is trying to avoid a war through negotiations and Romney has automatically said he will side with Israel and take Iran out. That is without proof,Deja Vu like in Iraq. Now Ron Paul will stay out so who is your candidate?

So “Eddie with his hands in his trench coat” wants to know my opinion on the Afgan war. I did not bring up the topic. Just responded to Mark’s opinion on the subject. Looking for consistency. My opinion on the war(s) has nothing to do with whether Mark, or yourself are consistent on your rants. Kind of like if Mark was a pervert, does not give you Eddie the right to be one too. Eddie little boy, you need to stand on your own two spiny legs. Mark has nothing to do with how you stand in the world, and neither do I.

Apparently the spirit of 1776 is only half dead; a “well armed militia” was never intended to denote protection from street thugs (although an armed populace also serves this purpose well). It was written to protect the citizenry by the citizenry from a strayed government’s oppression. I can only imagine what dialect of English we would now be conversing in, if those at Lexington were armed with only petitions on paper.
Today’s government enforcers carry the M16 standard issue and several other auto and semi-automatic small arms. They also employ some rather not so small arms. This would suggest that the citizenry leave their muskets and select armament more suitable to the situation.
I would also suggest strengthening arms control in this nation, enforcing the adequate supply of weapons and ammo to and training of every eligible citizen. Those who would not wish to defend their homeland would be bound to release some of the privileges of citizenship.

Did anyone see the video of the 70 year old man chasing the robbers out of the C store, while taking a few shots at them?

      • Karolyn

No, but on the Charlotte news there was a story about an 85 year old woman who thwarted would-be intruders. She didn’t hear them knocking but did hear when they kicked in her door. She grabbbed her gun and they ran. She also hit her panic button around her neck and the coprs got the guys.

      • Palin16

We had a similar thing happen in Vegas a couple of years ago. An 85-year old guy was leaving a casino when he was acosted and ordered to hand over his wallet. The older man said sure, it’s in my car, no problem, follow me. When he reached his car, he pulled a gun from under his seat and blew the robber away. The DA ruled it self-defense, no charges.

During World War II the Japanese did not invade the US mainland because they knew the American citizens were armed. This is revealed in Japanese documents released after the war. What does that tell you?

As for the KKK – I personally read original documents (letters) from the 5 men who banded together to protect their female family members from union soldiers while the men were off fighting the (civil) war. This organization later morphed into something else. Please do your research before commenting.

mark, we have stirred up more hatred from the islamic sector? that hatred didn’t need stirring, it’s inbred. how come your hero didn’t stop the iraq war and pull out of afghanistan when he was elected? how come he got so involved in libya, egypt and yemen to name a few, of course the cost stopped with bush, right? isn’t it strange, barry has allowed the muslim brothgerhood to step in with their sharia law to control these overthrown countries, isn’t it strange he has allowed these thugs to be entertained at the white house? aren’t these the same people that are the terrorist?

According to founder al-Banna, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”
Therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood opposes secular tendencies of Islamic nations and wants a return to the precepts of the Qur’an. The Brotherhood firmly rejects all notions of Western influences in addition to rejecting extreme Sufism as well. Brotherhood members organize events from prayer meetings to sport clubs for socializing.

The organization’s motto: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

hillary clinton has allegedly one of these as an advisor on her staff, god only knows how many are in barrys administration.
you voted for change, now you are seeing iit.

Aren’t those the same things the “PEACE LOVING” Muslims did back in the 8th or 9th century, sweeping al the way to Europe?

chuckb says: how come your hero didn’t stop the iraq war and pull out of afghanistan when he was elected? how come he got so involved in libya, egypt and yemen to name a few, of course the cost stopped with bush, right? isn’t it strange, barry has allowed the muslim brothgerhood to step in with their sharia law to control these overthrown countries, isn’t it strange he has allowed these thugs to be entertained at the white
house? aren’t these the same people that are the terrorist?

Because, obama is bush2 with a tan.

Even before he took office, he appointed Larry Summers head of the National Economic Council.

It was Summers, more than any other person, who was responsible for dismantling the Glass-Steagall regulations that had acted as a firebreak against banks looting the country since the Great Depression. Summers had made millions consulting for hedge funds before taking the office.

Obama appointed Timothy Geithner Secretary of the Treasury.

Geithner had been head of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, another central actor in the hear-no-evil-see-no-evil-speak-no-evil dereliction that passed for financial oversight in the Bush administration. He had been a major architect under Bush of the financial bailout that passed trillions of dollars to his former banking cohorts on the pretext of saving the system.

Obama re-appointed Ben Bernanke chairman of the Federal Reserve Board.

Before becoming Fed Chair, Bernanke had been Bush’s Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. Together with Geithner, Bernanke is the person most responsible for the collapse, the one person who could have slowed the asset bubble while it was still possible. He had been at the helm of the Fed since February 2006 and a member of its board for years before that.

Obama re-appointed Robert Gates, Bush’s Secretary of Defense, signaling that there would be profitable continuity with Bush’s wars, gulags, and other military expressions of
empire. And then, of course, he quickly tripled the number of U.S. forces in Afghanistan even without a coherent strategy or even statement of goals.

There is absolutely no difference between obama and bush2, but brain-dead mark cannot see that due to a severe case of, kool-aid poisoning! He may be too far gone to reach…

    • boyscout

Chuck, you go too far on O and fall short on the perps of the Near East debacles, the very same M/I Complex that so concerned Ike. It is now entrenched and owns much of our government itself and has reached into and through “both” political parties in our two party limited system.

Loopholes in proposed ‘Register all guns’ laws

Some “gun-control” groups, including the “Million Moms March”, have called for government registration of all guns. But any such law has two fatal flaws.

Fatal Flaw #1: Fifth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America

You might think that “all guns” would include those owned by criminals. It does not.

Convicted felons are prohibited from owning guns by US Federal law. The Fifth Amendment makes it illegal to force people to incriminate themselves. Convicted felons cannot be required to register their guns because that would force them to confess to the crime of illegally owning a gun.

If the existing law against felons owning guns was enforced, this would not be a problem.

However, if the existing gun and drug laws were enforced, no-one would be calling for gun registration. Convicted felons such as Buford Furrow and H. Rap Brown know that the law is not enforced. Convicted knife-attacker Buford Furrow was allowed to keep his guns after his conviction, despite the Federal law to the contrary. He used those guns to shoot children at a Jewish Day Care Center and kill a mailman. Nobody bothered to enforce the law.

Convicted robber H. Rap Brown was allowed to illegally buy an assault weapon. He used it to kill a policeman. Nobody bothered to enforce the law.

The Fifth Amendment also protects other criminals from gun registration. Every criminal can protect his guns by committing a felony crime and getting probation, or by giving his guns to a convicted felon for safekeeping.

Fatal Flaw #2: Guns can be hidden in drug shipments

According to US Federal Government agencies, drug smugglers slip a considerable amount of cocaine past police every year. You can hide thousands of guns in drug shipments of cocaine! Of course, drug smugglers also bring in hundreds of thousand of pounds of marijuana, heroin, and other illegal drugs besides cocaine.

Guns are readily available from China, Russia, Eastern Europe, and major drug-producing countries. The Chinese Army is the world’s largest manufacturer of assault rifles, and they sell them to anyone, even terrorists. Will drug dealers register their illegal smuggled guns?

Democrat politicians have in fact proposed allowing convicted felons to vote.

Gun registration laws inconvenience honest people, but exempt convicted murderers,
robbers, rapists, and drug dealers. Does that seem backward to you?

Nancy Pelosi; “We have to pass it so we can find out what’s in it”.

INEPTOCRACY: (in.ep.toc’.racy) – a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid
for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

    • chuckb

jay, pelosi is the typical california democrat. just look at the state, how it’s run and it’s financial system, most of all it’s governor. he placed a tax intiative on the ballot in november, the legislature is spending the money as if the initiative has passed.evidently they know they have enough fraudulent vote to pass the bill. we know the illegal vote is very large and growing.

      • JeffH

Right you are…can you say “high speed rail” speaking of idiotic legislators! $68 billion and rising!

      • Palin16

        JeffH,
Harry Reid also wants a high-speed rail in Nevada. It will supposedly connect Las Vegas to Victorville, CA. That’s right, Victorville, in the middle of nowhere. So if you want to travel by train from LA to Vegas, here’s how it works: take a bus or drive 100 miles to Victorville, pay to park your car while you’re there, then hop the train. Sure hope the Senate goes to the GOP, so we can demote this idiot to Senate MInority Leader.

      • Kate8

The high speed rail systems are just more of Agenda 21 at work. Whenever we question government projects, we need to check out if ICLEI is behind it. Many people help to promote these things because they don’t know the truth about them.

I’m sure these rail systems will also connect with transportation to FEMA camps.

The only way they are getting by with all of this is because they are keeping their real plans secret. The more people know what it’s really about, the more opposition they face.

      • JeffH

Palin16, yeah, I’ve seen some stuff on that as well, on TV. Isn’t the Roy Rogers museum in Victorville?

      • Palin16

        JeffH,
They moved the Roy Rodgers museum from Victorville to Branson, MO in 2003.

60 Hard Truths about gun hating Progressive-Liberals.
    Author unknown

    1. At the most basic level, the progressive-liberal is an adolescent forever in search of a world without moral consequence.

    2. Freedom from moral consequence can only be secured by a collectivist, totalitarian state.

    3. Progressive-Liberals use moralistic tones and catch-phrases like “social justice”, but their only moral is the accumulation of power

    4. Progressive-Liberals ideologies tend inevitably towards world-wide totalitarianism.

    5. All non-sexual individual freedoms are despised by the progressive-liberal because they demand moral responsibility.

    6. The fundamental power struggle of the progressive-liberals is individual v. collective. The individual must be relieved of all power in favor of the collective.

    7. Individualism demands moral responsibility. Collectivism hopes to eliminate the need for moral responsibility.

    8. The U.S. Constitution – specifically the individualistic Bill of Rights – is the enemy of the progressive-liberals.

    9. The progressive-liberal despises the United States because it is the premier gaurantor and promoter of individualism in the world.

    10. All institutions and concerns – schools, environment, courts, etc. – serve no relevant purpose other than the promotion of collectivism.

    11. Abortion is necessary to guarantee sexual freedom and eliminate moral consequence.

    12. The basis of psychology is the elimination of moral responsibility.

    13. The progressive-liberal must create an atmosphere of crisis and fear to justify collectivist oppression.

    14. Any religious person who believes or promotes moral consequence is the enemy of the progressive-liberal and must be oppressed.

    15. Despite decades of spectacular failure, the progressive-liberal clings to the collectivist dream because it is far more than a theory of government. It is a religion.

    17. The progressive-liberal seeks to dominate any institution which can weaken or destroy individual parental rights – public schools, child abuse agencies, pediatric associations, etc..

    18. The progressive-liberal applauds the imprisoning of homeschooling parents who dare to raise their children outside the control of collectivist public schools.

    19. Private ownership of guns is the single greatest symbol of individual power, and therefore despised.

    20. All individual freedoms demand the responsible behavior of the individual, and therefore demand a moral code. Progressive-liberals despise freedom because they despise morality.

    21. The progressive-liberal loves Bill Clinton because of who he is, not in spite of who he is.

    22. The progressive-liberal despises national sovereignty which protects individual freedoms.

    23. The progressive-liberal promotes international governments (UN, EU, etc.) which seek to destroy individualism protected by sovereign states.

    24. The progressive-liberal fears any hint of individualism in any part of the world, and is obsessed with the centralized control of all human activity and thought.

    25. “Multi-culturalism” is the code world for a single, oppressive, collectivist culture.

    26. Progressive-liberals speak often of tolerance, but only tolerate progressive-liberal-ideolegy.

    27. The progressive-liberal seeks to criminalize any speech which promotes morality or individualism as “hate speech”.

    28. Environmentalists lie as a matter of course.

    29. The progressive-liberal’s only method of debate is to insult and discredit anyone who dares to disagree.

    30. When possible, progressive-liberals oppress anyone who questions their beliefs.

    31. Progressive-liberals despise all innocence – especially the innocence of a child.

    32. Progressive-liberals seek the sexualization of children and the normalization of pedophilia, all in the pursuit of sexual freedom.

    33. In the progressive-liberal mind, your freedom is their oppression.

    34. Private property and individual wealth is integral to individualism, and the enemy of the progressive-liberal.

    35. The progressive-liberal hates you.

    36. The progressive-liberal seeks to replace a moral world view with an emotional world view.

    37. The progressive-liberal typically chooses a career which produces nothing of value – lawyer, bureaucrat, “activist”, etc. – and uses government to extract the wealth of others.

    38. Progressive-liberal programs enrich progressive-liberals and do little to help the poor.

    39. The progressive-liberal despises masculinity as a symbol of individual power.

    40. Feminists groups are about lesbianism and socialism, not equal rights for women.

    41. Progressive-liberals are perfectly willing to destroy you financially, remove your children, and imprison you for what you believe.

    42. Progressive-liberals fear technology and change – because neither can be centrally controlled.

    43. Progressive-liberals are not obsessed with se.x, but with promiscuity.
Promiscuity is the dominant theme of the liberal media culture.

    44. Progressive-liberals despise the suburbs as a manifestation of individual prosperity, private property ownership, and the family.

    45. Progressive-liberals despise marriage and family because they are institutions which frown on promiscuity.

    46. Progressive-liberals are never satisfied with the power they have gained over the lives of individuals – they must control every thought and detail of human activity.

    47. Progressive-liberals seek to control public schools, and force all children into them, in order to foster promiscuity and collectivist ideology in children.

    48. Other diseases kill millions more, but progressive-liberals are obsessed with Aids because it is a moral consequence of promiscuity.

    49. Progressive-liberals are more committed than conservatives because their politics is also their religion.

    50. Progressive-liberal activities are all about ego – to demonstrate “I care more than you do” without really helping anyone.

    51. Whenever a progressive-liberal expresses concern “for the children”, they are using and targeting children to expand promiscuity, collectivism, and their own pocketbooks and egos.

    52. Because collectivist politics is their only morality, progressive-liberals have no problem with deceit, oppression, or violence in their pursuit of collectivism.

    53. Progressive-liberals are elitists who exempt themselves from the oppressive rules they impose on the general population.

    54. Progressive-liberals howl if a transvestite or convicted felon is even slightly offended, but openly bash Christians.

    55. Progressive-liberals dream of a return to a centralized, 1940′s urban environment. We all ride the bus from a small, dirty, big city apartment to an 8-5 union job.

    56. Progressive-liberals believe that wealth is static – anyone who makes money must be stealing it from someone else.

    57. Progressive-liberals claim to be against violence, but make excuses for progressive-liberals like Castro who torture political dissidents.

    58. Progressive-liberals have enormous compassion for criminal predators, but little for the victims.

    59. In the progressive-liberal world, all problems stem from individualism, and all solutions are collective.

    60. Progressive-liberals believe that passing religious values to children is a form of child abuse.

    KEEP THE PRESSURE UP PEOPLE!!
If you haven’t signed the petition against the U.N. Small Arms Treaty yet, you can find it on Dick Morris.com petition site & the “2nd amendment” page on Face Book. Email or call those 51 senators who opposed the treaty & thank them, especially if they are from your state. There is also the opportunity to send them free emails at the petition sites & you can thank them there. If your senators are liberal socialists like mine are, you can rail on them for not being in the group of 51 who opposed it & promise to vote for their opponent in the next election if they don’t oppose it next time it comes around!
Those of you who have already signed the petition, thank you. You & the N.R.A., G.O.A., & the C.C.R.K.B.A. are the reason obozo & hillary are looking like ignorant morons today. Keep up the pressure.

I especially like the 2nd paragraph below that states: –> Some diplomats and treaty supporters blamed the United States for triggering the unraveling of the month-long negotiating conference.

UNITED NATIONS – U.N. member states have failed to reach agreement on a new treaty to regulate the multi-billion-dollar global arms trade.

Some diplomats and treaty supporters blamed the United States for triggering the unraveling of the month-long negotiating conference.

Hopes had been raised that agreement could be reached on a revised treaty text that closed some key loopholes by Friday’s deadline for action. But the United States announced Friday morning that it needed more time to consider the proposed treaty — and Russia and China then also asked for more time.

A bipartisan group of 51 U.S. senators on Thursday had threatened to oppose the global treaty regulating international weapons trade if it falls short in protecting the constitutional right to bear arms.

    Read more at Fox News.

    and:

    From Dick Morris.com:

We won a big battle yesterday at the UN but must still win the war! Due to massive public pressure – your pressure – fifty-one Senators asked Hillary not to sign the Arms Trade Treaty on Friday citing concerns that it would enable UN imposed gun control.

The Treaty has been the subject of four weeks of intense negotiations and seemed likely to be signed but the recent pressure forced the Administration to back off. Our site alone has sent 700,000 e mails to Congress and the NRA has effectively lobbied against the treaty

But it’s not dead yet. My bet is that Obama hoped to slip it through while his allies in the media downplayed it. Now it’s blown up in his face. I think he will try again after the election — especially if he loses….Thanks, Dick Morris

  • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

Many conservatives are absolutely perplexed by the question of what motivates progressive-liberals to take the patently wrong political positions they do.

It’s difficult to explain it without believing such obviously wrong ideas like “liberals are just stupid”, or “they want to destroy our country”, but sometimes we resort to those explanations out of pure frustration.

But what is the explanation? Why do seemingly good, intelligent people take positions that cause so much harm in the face of all the facts?

I’ve finally stumbled upon the answer, and it’s so stunningly simple, yet profound in its implications, that it’s absolutely mind-boggling. Progressive-liberalism isn’t a political ideology; it’s a psychology – the psychology of self-satisfaction to be precise.

A progressive-liberal or a leftist; is a person who only cares about politics to the extent that doing so makes him or her feel good, or avoid feeling bad, due both to external and internal factors. Their motivations can include things like a desire to feel intelligent, moral, noble, or unique, as well as a desire for peer acceptance or reverence, and aversion to being ostracized, among many other things.

Progressive-liberalism isn’t a political ideology. The only common bond that truly holds progressive-liberal ideas together is their straight-forward simplicity (pass a law, raise taxes, hand out money, talk it out, etc), which is solely a consequence of the fact that progressive-liberals are completely uninterested in real solutions to real problems.

It is the political activism itself that interests them, in that it makes them feel good about themselves for a number of reasons. The particular cause they fight for is relevant only insofar as different causes stroke different emotional needs (moral superiority, intellectual superiority, group acceptance, aversion to emotional trauma, etc).

Let’s take an easy example, same-sex marriage. Progressive-liberals see themselves as fighting the “bigots” on behalf of the “oppressed” minorities, and they constantly compare the battle to the civil rights movement. It isn’t anywhere near, but they do it because it makes them feel important, which is also the reason why this is an issue at the national forefront today.

Progressive-liberals press the issue because it makes them feel important, and they support it because it makes them feel morally superior. Whether same-sex couples actually end up “marrying” or not is irrelevant (except to homosexual-leftists, to whom social acceptance is a great ego need), as are the consequences of that. It’s the battle itself that matters to progressive-liberals, and as soon as the issue is resolved, you can bet the farm that they’ll move onto something else.

As I said, progressive-liberalism is a psychology, not an ideology. And as such, it’s unreasonable to expect it to be limited to a person’s politics; it should show through to many different aspects of a person’s life, and it does. Progressive-liberals tend to dominate fields like academia, the news and entertainment media, and the legal professions, and they populate the elite social circles, all because they’re so concerned with their egos.

In academia, teachers and professors are revered as wise and accomplished, and they exercise almost absolute power over dozens to hundreds of students. People in the media are famous and seen as powerful, intelligent, charismatic, and accomplished. Lawyers have enormous power over people’s lives, and like celebrities are seen as intelligent, charismatic, and accomplished, and are also generally seen as moral people (by people who substitute law for morality). Judges are esteemed and seen as a source of wisdom and knowledge, and they too hold enormous power over people’s lives and are seen as moral in the same way lawyers are.

There’s a trend here. Progressive-liberal professions offer many benefits to the ego. Progressive-liberals want to be society’s elite and powerful, much more than they want to be wealthy (although they often go hand in hand). They want to feel good about themselves, and that of course depends partially on how other people feel about them. The same thing that motivates their politics motivates many aspects of their personal lives.

Now, with the basics laid down, I’d like to draw a comparison to the Nazis. Nazism, at its core, was a product of people who cared about nothing but their own sense of superiority, just like the various leftist “ideologies” of today. The Nazi “superman”, the “purity of the German race”, the “subhuman” Jews, all of it was about feeling superior.

Hitler took a defeated people and made them feel so superior that they decided to conquer the world and exterminate the “subhuman” peoples, all while helping the poor and protecting the environment.

However, we should be thankful that progressive-liberals understand that killing people they see as “inferior” will earn them nothing but disdain. The Nazis were decidedly liberal in their psychology (and much of their politics for that matter), but the progressive-liberals of today simply aren’t Nazis. Like the Nazis though, they have the potential to do a tremendous amount of damage if left unchecked.

There’s even more similarity though when you consider how the progressive-liberals of today feel about certain groups of people. They’ll never tell you as much, but the poor are one group liberals consider decidedly inferior. That’s why they support handouts; the poor are like pets to liberals. They see them as this downtrodden group of people who are absolutely helpless, and who’d simply die if it wasn’t for their intervention.

Progressive-liberals have a hard time believing that most of the people who qualify as “poor” only do so for a short period of time (through college for example) and that without any help from liberals they manage to pull themselves up from poverty, and sometimes even become rich, but it’s true. Progressive-liberals want the poor to be this large group of people who simply can’t make ends meet and never will unless they step in and educate them, feed them, clothe them, and give them jobs.

Why? Because superiority is relative. If everyone was just as good as you, you wouldn’t feel as good about yourself. So part of the core of the liberal psychology is a deep-seated need to see other people as inferior, intellectually, morally, culturally (think McDonalds and NASCAR), or any other way that feeds the progressive-liberal’s ego.

The poor aren’t alone. Progressive-liberals think wealthy people, southerners, conservatives, devout religious people, minorities, “rednecks”, and many other groups of people are inferior to them in many different ways. Some they try to help and others they try to hurt (the “morally inferior” rich for example), all because other people’s “inferiority” makes them feel superior.

Progressive-liberals also want to feel revered by the people they see as their peers (other well-to-do liberals usually). That’s what motivates many aspects of their politics, like foreign policy for example. If you listen for it, you’ll hear a trend in progressive-liberal speech, over and over again. That is, the most important aspect of American foreign policy should be maintaining and elevating America’s image (i.e., the American progressive-liberal’s image in the eyes of their foreign peers).

We all want the rest of the world to look highly upon us, but to the egotist, that concern overrides every other. America’s safety, our prosperity, and our ability to exercise power in the world, all take a back seat to our image (specifically to our image among certain groups of people, like the French). If certain people don’t like us, our foreign policy is a “disaster” in the minds of progressive-liberals. Why? Because it makes them feel bad that the people they see as their peers don’t look upon them with reverence, let alone that they look upon them with disdain, and avoidance of that is a massive part of their psychology, and therefore their politics.

I should mention that the way in which progressive-liberals see their foreign peers is a great insight into how they themselves are motivated. They speak of the French and “the rest of the world” as if each country is a person with an ego that can be offended, as opposed to an entity that simply acts in its own best interest. They say that President Bush alienated “the rest of the world” with his “our way or the highway” attitude, and that he “squandered the post 9/11 goodwill” through his “insensitive” foreign policy.

They see the actual consequences of his policy as irrelevant to the question of why others would support us or oppose us, which is frankly a good assessment of their progressive-liberal peers, and hence themselves.

Kate8-you are on it girl! americannationalmilitia.com for truth. I’m wondering whose leg these commie libs are going to hide behind when SHTF!!!! not mine. If the national and international bankers-D.C. politicians, had half a brain they would stand down. Actually, the problem needs straightened out once and for all. For Liberty and Justice For All. God Bless America!! Hang on to your hat.

    • Red

You’re absolutely Right about it needing to be straightened out once and for all!! But it will never happen until we put people in Office that remembers they work for us, and not for a Political Party!! We have got into the BAD Habit of Electing people because they’re Black, or they’re Movie Stars, or they were on Saturday Night Live, or they used to be a Wrestler, or some other kind of Famous Person!! Why don’t we try to put someone in Washington that will actually work for Us!! WOW, What a Novel Idea!!!

      • Kate8

        Semper fi, Tina!

And Red, we can’t wait for elections. I have a feeling that O and his minions don’t intend to relinquish power no matter what happens in November.

It’s time to band together and start conduction “citizens’ arrests” of corrupt officials, beginning at the local levels. This idea has been gaining traction.

Besides, elections don’t solve anything, because no matter who gets in, they are quickly informed of how things work, and shown videos of JFK and other people who have dared to defy the PTB. They can choose to go along with the program or face ruination (or worse).

after obunhole leaves there will be no more democrat presidents. obunhole was bad enough but we could have been stuck with al gore musky mcgovern an a bunch of others who would have went after your second amendment rights. a lot of modern democratic presidential candidates are anti gun. all it takes, nowadays is for some nut ot cut loose like the one in colorado, then the anti gun nuts state that guns pull their own triggers and kill people. after every gun crime we hear about guns killing people. people kill people. why not make laws harsher on people who do it instead of the innocent being robbed of their rights. take away obunholes and mrs clintons security peoples weapons and give them a little of what we will get if we lose the second amendment and our weapons.

Pure BS. It’s nothing we haven’t heard before. So many of his speeches have been clipped and edited to suit the editor’s purpose it isn’t even funny! Taking pieces of speeches and adding one’s own slant, does wonders for what one wants to believe is true. OOooo! “Watch it now before it gets pulled from the interet!”

      • Nadzieja Batki

But, Karolyn, the individual has the choice of going on the site or not going to the site.
You automatically don’t want the individual to go to a site because you say so.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

Karolyn, clearly, Obama is not ashamed of his religious heritage, why are you? Are you suggesting that there is something wrong with Obama’s religious heritage? Isn’t Islam just another religion? I fail to understand your need to contradict, make light, suggest otherwise, concerning the evidence presented in the video. Could you explain?

      • Kate8

Jay – Isn’t it funny how the liberals will vehemently deny that Obama is Muslim, gay or bi, is a cokehead, likes to kill babies and any number of other reported vices… While at the same time crowing about how wonderful all of these things are?

I’d think they’d be cheering the fact that someone of such deviance is heading up their party. After all, they revel in immorality. Just look at how Clinton was beloved by them BECAUSE of his playboy antics.

I mean, Obama is their perfect poster boy!

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

That’s what is so perplexing, Kate8. The progressive’s are at the same time, both, proud, and ashamed of what they claim they stand for. This is precisely why they are not psychologically fit to lead a nation. They have absolutely no idea who they are!

      • Karolyn

Jay – I just do not believe there is any evidence in that video that he is. Of course, he has been exposed to it; and I see nothing wrong with him sticking up for Islam. You can make things seem totally opposite of what they are by taking them out of context. I just don’t understand how so many sheep see obviously cut and edited “evidence” and believe it. It is just because you want to believe it. You want to look for what you think is the worst in people Nobody really knows anything for certain. I just prefer to believe the best. I would not care if he was an atheist, but you would. I don’t believe in Islam or Christianity, but it is of no consequence to me what anybody is. Of course, I don’t even know why I’m even responding to you. I know you’re just baiting me and will just denigrate me for what I believe. I know you reallly don’t care what I or people like me have to say. There is no place for rational debate in those with closed minds.

      • Karolyn

Nadzieja – You obviously did not get the facetiousness in my quoting Jay.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

Karolyn says: You want to look for what you think is the worst in people Nobody really knows anything for certain.

So you’re saying that by pointing out obama’s religious foundation, that being, Islam, is looking for the worst in obama? How so?

When you consider that Islam is the fastest growing and the most dominant religion, to say then, that that would be the worst that can be pointed out in one who shapes his/her reality to the values of Islam, is an insult to billions of Muslims, don’t you think? As well, an insult to obama, who clearly has been seriously affected by Islam’s considerable influence!

It seems to me that you have clearly misunderstood my reason for providing information that undoubtedly reveals obama’s cherished beliefs, and from whence they originate; and have instead, accused me of having ulterior motives, with the intention to inflict damage on obama. And not only that, you have also cast dispersions on Islam, and Islamists, when you pointed out that their Islamic beliefs is the worst thing that someone not of their faith could point out in them!

Have i read you comment clearly, Karolyn?

      • Karolyn

Jay – Speaking in your terms, the terms of a Christian Conservative, Obama being cast as a Muslim is not a good thing and is certainly detrimental to how he is perceived by those of your persuasion. I am not casting ASPERSIONS on anybody’s religion., and you know it.

      • JeffH

Karolyn the hypocrit takes a page from deer bob’s playbook…for Karolyn to say she doesn’t believe in Christianity and despises labels she was awful quick to call Jay a Christian Conservative as if it were something bad…If you don’t believe in it how can you label someone with it…Imagine that?

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

Karolyn says: Speaking in your terms, the terms of a Christian Conservative, Obama being cast as a Muslim is not a good thing and is certainly detrimental to how he is perceived by those of your persuasion.

So what? Why would you let my views, or anyone else’s views regarding Islam intimidate you into denying the facts? Or to be ashamed, afraid, that your president may be a muslim, and that some may ridicule, or criticize him? Perhaps, the very fact that you express such timidity and denial, over even the suggestion, that your president may be a muslim, reveals more about what you think of Islam, then what people think of obama. Clearly, on all of the segments in the video, obama wasn’t the least bit bashful or ashamed in declaring to the world that he embraces Islam, and that he considers the Islamic religion, and the muslim culture, to be of great benefit. Do you not agree?

Karolyn: I am not casting ASPERSIONS on anybody’s religion., and you know it.

Should i re-post some of your comments regarding Christianity, Karolyn? Perhaps i’ll spare you the embarrassment.

      • Karolyn

Jay – The ONLY thing I have ever said about Christianity is that the Bible is filled with myths and that I do not ascribe to many of the commonly-held translations and interpretations. Of course those fairytales are filled with lessons; however they are just myths. If you really read what I post, you will see that I have NEVER said anything hateful about Christianity or Christians. Perhaps you have me confused with those who do.

      • Karolyn

Jeff – Your reading too much in my calling Jay a Christian Conservative. That is what he is, is it not? That is the problem – people misreading what is posted and placing their own interpretation on it.

      • JeffH

No Karolyn, I’ve judged you by your own words. You are a hypocrit, plain and simple.

      • http://naver samurai

So the Bible is full of fairy tales eh? Then why have they discovered Noah’s Ark and the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah? Why have they discovered evidence of the great flood while on digs in Iran? You say that you say nothing bad about Christianity or someone’s Christian beliefs, but then you attack the Bible as being irrelevant. Hypocracy has reared its ugly head and its name is Karolyn. You are part of the Apostacy. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot.

      • Karolyn

Samurai – There is no real proof thaat Noah’s ark has been found. I did not say that the places in the Bible were not real, just that the stories are myths and allegories.

      • http://naver samurai

If they have found the places and they correspond to what is said in the Bible, then they become facts and not fairytales. You are about as bad as Rob “acorns” Smith. BTW, here is something for you to read about the Constitutional Convention.

I am watching a DVD this week entitled “Barack Obama…Dreams from my REAL Father”.
It shows Obama steeped in Islam from a young age and then studying Marxism in college.
“Hope and Change” evolved from Rev. Jeremiah (“Goddamn America”) Wright’s “Audacity of Hope” and then combined with “change” which is Saul Alinsky’s code word for socialism.

We have had a treasonous government for a long time. They’ve all done their parts in setting us up for what’s coming now. Agenda 21 is the most horrifying thing imaginable for the Earth, and especially for humanity.

JeffH, i honestly believe that obama’s handlers are ready to pull him out. Not because they don’t like him, rather, because obama has served his purpose. It is nothing more then a “shell” game. It works like this; Have the current one enact egregious policies, when public back-lash becomes too pronounced, replace him with the new, who will say: “Hey, don’t blame me, it was the guy before me that’s to blame”. Of course, the newly installed will not only continue with the pillaging, as did the one previous, but with each new-installation, the degree of damage to the country, and the theft perpetrated on its people, increases in scope. Watch out for Mitt, he will be like a bull in a china shop!

      • Kate8

Jay – I’ve had that thought, as well.

There’s a lot of crazy stuff going on. A lot of deception. The NWO folks have it set up so that their bases are covered no matter which way things go.

You know what it says in scriptures. The wicked are snared in their own traps. I see that coming, too, at some point.

Think about Congress, too, passing all of those laws which allow us to be surveilled, detained, killed…. even framed… Don’t ‘cha know that these “laws” will be used on them, too… And when you sell your soul to satan, you can never be free…
