Colon Health Affects Total Health

Colon Health Affects Total Health

If we could only correct one function of the body’s chemistry and nothing else, I would concentrate on the colon. The colon is a major organ in maintaining health as well as the prevention of disease.

When elimination falls far short of requirements, toxic poison (toxemia) builds in the blood leading eventually to degenerative disease.

Drugging pain of any kind checks elimination and prevents the human colon from cleaning house.

Every disease is a crisis of toxemia, which means that toxins have accumulated in the blood above the toleration point. When natural elimination fails, then the body produces a crisis to force elimination. Such crisis may come in the form of a cold or flu, pneumonia, headache or worse. Nature is trying to rid the body of toxic poisons. Any treatment that obstructs nature such as drugs only complicates self-curing.

Cancer is the culmination of years of abuse of nutrition as well as years of toxemia from faulty elimination.

It is very important to understand that toxic blood is caused by a toxic colon, the first source of all disease-producing toxins.

Commercial acid foods make up the primary diet of Americans, leading to the accumulation of poisons in the body, extremely poor elimination and eventually colon disease. The only sensible answer is added or
supplemental fiber to repurify the blood and the body.

Death Begins in The Colon… Death really begins in our diet but the problems show up in the colon. Everyone needs a practical knowledge of colon health. It’s about as serious as any health concern that anyone can have.

Colon health affects total health. We need to burn this into our minds.

According to the noted British researcher, Dr. Dennis Burkitt, at least 10 of our most serious diseases are directly related to a lack of sufficient fiber in the diet. These include: heart attacks, diverticular diseases, appendicitis, colon cancer, hiatal hernia, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, diabetes, obesity (big stomach bloat) and constipation.

Aging compounds colon disease because of our soft food diet and lack of exercise.

Primitive people had none of these diseases because of their high raw food diet and thus fiber containing diet.

There is no limit to the amount of fiber that the body can handle. The more fiber—the better the health.

We can’t have a primitive diet because it is simply not available. We have to supplement with daily fiber. This is very simple but serious and basic to health.

The phrase “Death begins in the colon” is a quote from a British Royal Medical Society publication.  But that quote dates from 1905!  What was considered sound medical judgement over a century ago is surely not necessarily what we consider sound medical practice now.

Our intestines are not clogged with decaying foecal matter filling our systems with poison.  Did you ever undergo a colonoscopy?  After two days of a clear liquid fast and the use of enemas, your colon is smooth and pink and healthy, unless you have polyps or (God forbid) a cancerous tumor.  Either way, your colon is not full of decaying poop.  So this alarmist nonsense about your colon being clogged with undigested foecal matter is just that – nonsense.  John Wayne did not die with fifty pounds of poop in his intestines and an all-but blocked intestine as some of these health hucksters would have you believe.   If you have health concerns, then talk with a medical doctor or look at reputable medical web sites like WebMD on-line.  I would not trust my health care concerns to some political columnist who has no formal medical training.

Sorry, Hugh.  You are way off base here.  You should open your mind to the vast wealth of information available to you.  There is much reliable information for the inquiring mind beyond WebMD.

Largely due to the typical American diet of today, most Americans are indeed walking around with a few extra pounds of fecal waste.  It’s hard for me to understand how anyone could not recognize that this condition is toxic to the body and not normal.

Most do not go through the cleansing required for a colonoscopy as you suggested, nor are colonics common practice.  If you rarely (or never) go through this ‘clean-out’ method or some type of cleanse, most will have fecal buildup, which is indeed toxic to your body.  If adequate fiber and a truly healthy diet were commonplace, this would not be an issue at all.

Hugh, you are correct on one point… John Wayne’s 50 pounds of poop claim is a total farce.  I’m not sure why you bring this up in your blog since I’ve never made this claim.  I agree that some of the claims out there are way over the top, but that should not shut down ones search for information. –Bob.

Bob Livingston is an ultra-conservative and not a doctor. Pat Robertson is an ultra-
conservative, who made the comment democrats are the non-religious party and has
been since 1905, What a krok. An ultra-conservative just throws his or her opinion
    around.

    Dear Bob,
Thanks for the insight regarding the colon.  You are very right about the primitive people.  I was one of those.  We ate so much vegetables, rice,  fish,  very little meat, and a moderate amount of beans, and sweet potatoes.  Candy was a luxury stuff for us kids.
I can testify that our teeth were not as decay as  those who lived in the city (where candies and sweet stuff were available).   Sugar has a two edged-sword; we like the taste of sweetness it gives, but too much of it can be deadly.  We did not have technology for colon cleansing thing.  I guess, the healthy stuff we ate helped us.  The only time we got sick was that because we didn’t know better such as communicative bugs.  Now we are aware of them.   Mung
