The corruption of our government is astonishing – our forefathers are turning over in their graves – despite the warnings they left us.

  • JUROR 64529

Thats the liberal media for ya. They only want one side of an issue to be heard, their side. They will threaten you if you say anything else. this is what they did in Germany in the 1930s. Be careful America!

  • sparrow47

Yup, thats the shameful state of news agencies in the USA. I loved the guy who nearly assaulted him…

would have been more epic if the reporter made a citizens arrest for assault…

    • http://?? Joe H.

Self defense wouldn’t have been too bad either!!

      • sparrow47

Hes in Chicago; that particular hell-hole is a zone in which such basic human rights as the right to self defense need not apply.

  • Mustang

This shameful action is exactly why Obama and his henchmen want the citezenery dis-armed. He (Obama) doesn’t have to worry about the bad guys as he is the head of the gang. Don’t give up your weapons for any reason as we cannot go down as they did in Nazi Germany and have done in Great Briton and Australia. This is America and we the people are the only ones that can protect it from tyranny

I think its a little too late to save America, they are now trying to get the power to shut down the internet. I believe the only reason they want that power is to stop “We The People” from being able to communicate for fear of some organization of the people, and one person can do nothing alone when they come to collect guns or take you to a concentration camp.WANTED: LEADER NEEDED

Little Rahmbo reminds me of Hitler’s reaction to a certain lawyer in pre-WWII Germany. The lawyer took Hitler to court, and ripped der Fuhrer a new one.
Hitler later had his revenge, and the lawyer died in a concenration camp.
Some people think WWII put an end to Hitler and his Nazis. I disagree.

He, Rahm, belongs in Chicago with the mafia. We will get him sooner or later. Pretending that he had nothing to do with the economy in Chicago–how stupid does he think the public is in that town–the ones who have not been tarnished by the present government.

    From: James Graham
As a widow of a military retiree, who stood with her husband for over 20 years while he served this country (which was the greatest in the world until this Congress and President took over), I have to say I agree. Shirley
As a retired military man that have given over twenty-seven years of my life to my country, I truly feel that what this
Country needs most is a new amendment to the Constitution . I am recommending that we add the 28th amendment to the Constitution of the UNITED STATES.
For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that Congress members could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they didn’t pay into Social Security, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform that is being considered…in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn’t seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don’t care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.
This is a good way to do that. It is an idea whose time has come.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Congressman, Senators, Representatives and the President together with his/her staff; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Congressman, Senators, Representatives, and the President together with his/her staff that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States”.
This 28th amendment to the Constitution of the UNITED STATES Will apply to all passed, present and future
    Congressman, Senators And Representatives.
Just think of all the money this would save the tax payers!!!!!
I think the Senators, Representatives or Congressman that comes out strongly for this will be our next President.
HTCM USN Retired James A. Graham

I would most certianly support such an Amendment…and all those apposed would reveal their true intentions.

This has nothing to do with “thug reporters” or “liberal media”. It’s a matter of acting professionally vs. acting like an annoying child. I could tell 5 seconds into the video that this hack “reporter” had no professional standards when he started by calling Mr. Emanuel by his first name. That’s rude, and no professional reporter should do it. No one would like a stranger to walk up and address them by their first name and then start lobbing accusations.

This reporter’s tone was obviously inflammatory and he showed no decorum. This was not the place to ask those kinds of questions. This was a homecoming event for Rahm and the tone was to be light-hearted. If this dork wants to be a serious reporter and wants legitimate answers to the hard questions, he should invite Rahm on his radio show for an interview. What he did here was just shameless showmanship. The other reporters were doing their jobs in a professional manner and letting the interviewee speak. Why wouldn’t they get upset when this childish ding-dong kept interrupting Rahm’s responses?

The guy in the red jacket obviously has some anger issues and allowed himself to be lowered to the level of the hack reporter. He needs to practice the rules of decorum as well as everyone else. His threat was an assault, for which he could legally be arrested.

Reading the comments here, I see that some people are buying into the spin on this story. Don’t try to make this out like this is the “liberal media’s” conspiracy to suppress conservatives’ concerns; this was simply the wrong event to ask those kinds of questions. If this whole spectacle were turned around and a Republican was being interviewed while some annoying “liberal” hack kept interrupting with his inflammatory questions, the Republicans would all be cheering the guy in the red jacket for putting the sissy liberal in his place. Dichotomous thinkers are all so predictable.

RN, your aromatic remarks mark you as just another thin-skined, hack progressive. What Rahmbo was exposed to is a form of Chicago ‘journalism.’ If he doesn’t like it, that’s tough. If you don’t like it, that’s tough #@^*, comrade.
Why waste time talking about Republicans? How many times do people like you have to be told that ‘Republicans’ are a minority on this website? This is a conservative website. Are you THAT thick-headed?
Now, tell your handler that you’ve been a good little parrot, and that you’re ‘entitled’ to be paid for your lame effort. Take your patronizing
posterior, and stick that quasi-elitist attitude wherever it feels good.

      • Rick N.

        SC –
Congratulations! Your attacking and labeling me has just confirmed the last sentence of my post. Keep up the good work!

By the way – nice spelling

        • s c

RN, my remarks are based on your words and your inability to see Rahmbo for the two-legged #@^*#*$@^ that he is. You can try and dazzle us with your progressives bs, but bs is still bs (no matter how it’s packaged). By the way, Einstein, I was probably teaching vocabulary when you were on the tit and wrapped in a disposable diaper loaded with something that defines progressives and their ‘pals.’
By the way, if you need a job, go to Chicago and look up a certain ex-White House advisor who chose to back to the Chicago septic tank. You probably deserve each other. You’re welcome, comrade.
          Up the rebels!

          • Joey

Typical liberal bias. Just remember this is where Obams came from.

    • Shawn Hubbard

The question is: Why are reporters trying to protect Rahm Emmanuel?

      • Rick N.

Good reporters demonstrate a certain level of respect and decorum around ALL elected officials. There is nothing wrong with asking tough questions (I too would like to hear Rahm’s answers), it just needs to be done tactfully if you want to be taken seriously as a reporter. If this reporter were to request a legitimate interview now, after that spectacle, Rahm would certainly refuse. I think the other reporters were treating this guy like a rookie because he was acting like a rookie.

    • Pete

It’s simple. All he had to do is anwser a few question!

  • TIME

This is a SNL feature, LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!;-)

  • 1minuteman

i had to laugh when rahm said the people were looking for jobs in chicago because him and obama did such a good job of destroying every job they possibly could. we have plants at g.m. and g.e. closing to reopen in communist china. thats hope and change.

  • BrotherPatriot

Now that is the kind of real news media you will NOT see on TV! LoL…my heart fealt thanks goes out to W.I.N.D reporting team and all like them!

    • BrotherPatriot

Oh…and the reporter was forced to hen peck his questions in since Rahm didn’t give him the respect of an answer when the reporter did have Rahm’s attention. Rahm then cold shouldered the reporter, forcing him to badger for an answer while Rahm was willing to give an interview to the rest of the Koolaid dispencer reporters around him.

It’s indeed laughable, TIME…if it weren’t so tragic.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Brother Patriot,
Didn’t you read Rick Ns post?? He, the reporter that is, was being disrespectful!!! Here is a scum bag disrespecting the American people AND the people of Chicago as well and Rick N. is complaining that a reporter is disrespectful?!?!?!?!? What a dam hypocrite!!!! He should go back to daily kos and STAY THERE!!!!

  • Roger C.

Very good job! PS you should have knot that other guy out from cbs that s all they understand. Thanks keep up the good work.

  • Sean

Chief of staff Rahm’s response is typical when someone only wants to push a certain agenda or mindset on the people of the U.S. by repeating the same lingo BS as always “i undertsand that the american people are looking for jobs…” how many times have we heard that from all levels of government in some fashion? they repeat the same mantra time after time after time. Than someone comes along and asks REAL questions and than he is shuned because it doesnt support the agenda. Wake up America we are being deceived. ever wonder why we never hear about these new laws? what about how we never hear about what our elected officials are doing on a daily basis? and than we are told that something new is great. But than when it goes sour it is never reported wake up. @ Rick N while i can see your point of view on “the wrong event to ask these questions” these issues are BIGGER than the event in question so therefore they require a sense of urgency especially from the people that Mr Rohm is supposed to be serving. o wait nevermind hes only serving the elite and not the people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Roger H.

Is any one else on here old enough to have seen history change? I’m referring to the history of the US up to the reformation and beyond.

“Separation of Church and State” as I was taught was to keep government out of the church. The only power was “Government shall make no law”, yet the Supreme Court and Government have done exactly that.

Progressives? The progressives movement and progressive actions were not the same. Now progressives basically “want to distribute the wealth”, IE Socialism, Communism, Marxism, or the current administration. Strange how they want to distribute our wealth and collect *their* power.

History has changed, or rather been rewritten yet… it’s still pretty much the same for Chicago. IOW Chicago politics is still pretty much the same as it was back in the 20′s.

Now what happened to that Senator and his wife who threatened banks with lawsuits if they made ability to pay a requirement for a loan?

  • mickey

Maybe the guy was disrepectful but I haven’t seen much of the press be respectful. The real issue is, is Emanuel legally eligible to run? Where is that answer?

I think after seeing all this go on, the people in the ghettos should realize they’ve been had, maybe by both parties. It is time for them to ask–where are the jobs? One answer is to help them get off welfare, off dependency, with opportunity to make something of themselves without the drug money.

If obama and emanuel were worth anything, they would quit supporting the illegal drug traffic (AZ) and keep kids from going to jail for peddling. obama took AZ to the UN? Seriously, Chicago take your streets back. Your policitians are keeping you in the dirt.

It will be interesting to see if emanuel takes the IL constitution seriously or is just another obama “throw it out the window”.

    • libertytrain

Is Emanuel legally eligible to run? Was his boss in the White House? That doesn’t seem to be of importance in this country any longer.
