Last week, the PC crowd and their media enablers got all atwitter at the very idea of a rancher’s observation that dependence on the welfare state might have created a new form of slavery in the U.S. as egregious as the actual human ownership-type slavery that existed prior to the Civil War. Here’s why.
It appears that as its main campaign strategy to wrest control of the Senate from the Democrats, the GOP will play the Reid card. That’s a reference to Senator Harry Reid, the man who said anyone who opposes a big, overbearing and over-militarized government is a “domestic terrorist.”
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called the patriots who were opposed to the Bundy ranch siege “domestic terrorists.” Isn’t that strange? Isn’t that bizarre? Well, actually, no. It makes perfect sense.
A measure making its way through various State legislatures will dramatically affect the way this country chooses its President. At least one analyst believes that if enough States pass it, it will mean the end of any chance to ever again elect a Republican as President.

It’s no surprise that Democratic candidates running for re-election will try anything to keep this incredibly unpopular piece of legislation from being the No. 1 issue in the November elections.
