So the Democratic Congressman who helped get the Affordable Care Act (otherwise known as the monstrosity called Obamacare) shoved down our throats in 2010 now says he was double-crossed by the Barack Obama Administration. Are we supposed to be surprised?
No one can collect “free” Obamacare services from any doctor without showing ID. And since everyone is now required to have health insurance (or is given free insurance), the government is requiring that everyone have a photo ID. Don’t look now, but Obamacare just opened the door for voter ID.
Two weeks ago, I was being strapped on a gurney and rushed by firefighters into an ambulance at my doctor’s office. I was so out of breath that I wasn’t all that worried. I should have been — not only because my condition was serious, but because I was about to be subjected to the full tyranny of socialized hospitalization.
Savannah, Ga., hosted a gun show over the weekend. By liberal logic, even a small gun show should produce mass casualties and mayhem galore. Yet the gun show came and went without incident.
The U.S. has been at war since 1990. There is a generation of young adults who have never known their Nation at peace. Don’t the American people have a right to be weary of war? In the past two efforts to drag America into another conflict, the majority of Americans said “No!”
Barack Obama’s milquetoast response to Vladimir Putin’s bold aggression in the Crimean Peninsula may have made him a laughingstock among Russian leaders. But it’s also reduced the likelihood of U.S. intervention there. And that’s a good thing.
Thirty years ago, Barack Obama, my Columbia University Class of ’83 classmate, was rarely seen. Thirty years later, he can’t be bothered to attend national security meetings about a crisis that could lead to World War III. Some things never change.
The reputation that America has throughout the world holds massive ramifications for future generations. As the world gets progressively “smaller” with the increase in technology, Americans are in danger of being sheltered and closed off from the rest of the world.
Most Americans today are utterly unready for a minor localized disaster, let alone a national or global crisis. This problem, though, could be easily remedied with a few simple beginning steps.
There is nothing “safe” about your savings if you have them in a bank or a retirement account. Don’t believe me? Wait and see. Government bureaucrats and/or your Congressmen have lots of dirty tricks planned for the people.
