Panic led President Barack Obama to wade blindly into the case of George Zimmerman. After all, virtually every Democrat worth his weight in fraudulently cast ballots shifted his gaze from his beloved savior to joining the Zimmerman lynch mob.
According to Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, it now costs 2.4 cents to make a penny and 11.2 cents to make a nickel because rising commodity prices have driven up production costs. Why are commodity prices rising? Because of inflation created by the Federal Reserve’s money printing.
Under different circumstances, I might feel bad for Solicitor General of the United States Donald Verrilli. Charged with the duty of defending the bureaucratic behemoth known as Obamacare — in front of the highest court in the land, no less — Verrilli became a mosquito with a law degree, slamming headlong into the windshield of superior Constitutional scholars.
The racist flames licking at the political discourse in the Trayvon Martin shooting needed no fanning, but President Barack Obama fanned them anyway when he waded in and claimed: “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”
The self-serving attempts by some to insert race into the Trayvon Martin tragedy (and it IS a tragedy—for everyone involved) is particularly odious. A young black man is dead, killed by a Hispanic man who may or may not have been acting in self-defense. That’s ALWAYS terrible; for the shooter and the “shootee” alike. What everyone seems to forget when they turn these cases into public referenda is that both are PEOPLE; with families and friends.
The Republican Presidential primary race is a joke, and Barack Obama will have four more years to continue to radically reshape the United States. Mitt Romney campaign adviser Eric Fehrnstrom summed up why Republicans are poised to lose: The guy who will most likely be the GOP’s choice in the general election has the conviction of an Etch A Sketch.
Responding defensively to the Democrats’ baseless charges that the GOP is fighting a war on women is a colossal waste of time. For conservatives to guide Team America to pay dirt, we must get the offense on the field. Touchdowns are hard to come by if you never leave the shadow of your own goalposts.
The Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank had both given the go-ahead for higher gold prices… until Ben Bernanke’s testimony before Congress and a key announcement from the Federal Open Market Committee brought about a swift reversal.
I’m fairly surprised the Rush Limbaugh/Sandra Fluke/Bill Maher/Democrat hypocrisy “scandal” still has legs. Not that I expected the Democrats were any more likely to give up on this Cirque de la Stupidité, but getting Democrats to understand their own folly is a fool’s errand, like wresting a bone away from my dog.
Ron Paul supporters get a bad rap, especially from establishment Republicans. They are often branded as a raucous bunch who obnoxiously disrupt order at conventions and gatherings and are accused of disrupting the entire 2012 primary process. When did it become so out of line to be passionate about a political cause?
