Politicians lie. It’s their stock in trade. They have to if they are to be elected. So it is certainly no surprise that the undocumented White House usurper whose very life is a fraud would unapologetically tell you for three years that “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it. Period,” and then turn around and brazenly say that he never said that.
Under rules created in the wake of Obamacare’s creation, Congressional staffers are supposed to get their health insurance through Washington, D.C.’s, health insurance exchange. But, of course, the political class has established that rules don’t apply to it. Obamacare isn’t good enough for them.
A full court press to push an amnesty bill through the House of Representatives will begin next week. It will be spearheaded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a coalition of Big Business and Silicon Valley, immigration activists and liberal religious leaders. In the past dozen years, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — also known as food stamps — has grown from a $17 billion a year Federal expenditure to $78 billion a year. Food stamp recruiters have sign-up quotas of 150 per month.
People in America who are getting free food stamps consider it a right rather than a privilege. This attitude will be very bad when the food stamp system fails. This was proved last weekend when the computer system that runs the Electronic Benefits Transfer system crashed in 17 States.
There may be some interesting activity in and around the Washington, D.C., cesspool this weekend: a planned trucker protest, the possible closure of the interstates around the capital city, a likely barricade burst-through and the scheduled Million Vet March on the Memorials.
Psychopathic, uncaring government functionaries operating under direct orders from the Barack Obama regime are evicting homeowners whose homes sit on Federal land. The evictions are reportedly made necessary by the theater-of-the-absurd “government shutdown.”
I have told you often that a tell-tale sign of a failing regime is increased controls over the people. Now look around. The regime’s failure is accelerating at breakneck speed and should be obvious to everyone.
