Senator Rand Paul wants to be President. While he has not explicitly said so, his recent posturing and pronouncements make this a reasonable assumption. His problem is the Republican establishment hates his father, Ron Paul, and him by extension. They’re showing him no love.
Would someone please explain this to me? We’re told al-Qaida is the enemy. Yet when al-Qaida rose up to overthrow Moammar Gadhafi in Libya, U.S. and NATO assets covered for them and supplied them with arms. And when al-Qaida rose up to overthrow Bashar Assad in Syria, Obama signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for them.
Senator Mike Lee (R.-Utah) is trying to drum up support for an effort to defund Obamacare in the continuing resolution to fund government that will be debated this fall. Unfortunately, cowardly and/or big-government-loving CINO (conservative in name only) Republicans are, as usual, siding with Democrats and corporatists and saying it’s a fool’s errand.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the people and Constitution Wednesday when it vacated a permanent injunction barring the enforcement of Section 1021 of the National Defense Authorization Act that allows for the indefinite detention of U.S. citizens.
Helicopters from the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment shook Port Angeles, Wash., residents awake last week as they thundered above the city, flying low and shining bright lights on the ground during an early morning training exercise that “terrorized [the] city.”
The overhyped and superfluous George Zimmerman trial is winding down, and Florida’s law enforcers are growing antsy. That’s because they’re seeing in social media and hearing from the streets that if Zimmerman is acquitted in a trial that never should have been held to begin with, blacks will riot and kill whites.
