Commenting on EPA Empowers Environmental Extremists To Attack American Farmers,
Gilly from Australia says:

In my opinion private information should remain private and the consequences of releasing of the private information will add to the already suspicious minds of the farming community and when confidence is lost, the information collected becomes less truthful, thereby corrupting the process and basis upon which decisions are made up the food chain of command back down to farmers.

Farmers are already aware of the effects contaminants can have on the value of their produce and your not telling them anything new that they need to dispose of contaminants in a responsible manner otherwise they will be contributing to the devaluation of their own landholdings. Now instead of trying to bash the farmers why not get your acts together and chase up the chemical companies who are selling soil destroying chemicals.

In Australia there are already pockets of still fertile farmlands which can not be used for vegetable growing due to the Dieldren fiasco some 40 years ago….the rich chocolate volcanic soils can only be used to grow non edible flowers and meat animal grazing is prohibited for who knows how long, due to chemical companies not being held to account for what they were then selling and doubt whether much has changed.

Food lot buyers are increasingly getting soil tests before they invest their money in any large or small landholdings, so the incentive in already self evident by current farmers who will suffer serious financial loss if their land is found to be contaminated by nasty chemicals, and dont need to be harrassed by the EPA trying to justify themselves by becoming a land god.

If your government want farmers to keep growing food then dont try the Russian solution by socialising land use. It did not work in Russia or China so dont start it in USA or Australia where people are starting to realise the Greens Party infested EPA are red russian socialists or communists would be a better truer name. The Greens have been infiltrated by the commos who are doing their upmost to distrupt our food production in the west and the lazy politicians on both sides are letting it happen. Reality is no paranoia.

Commenting on GOP Says Congressional Democrats’ New Budget Would Jack Federal Spending 62 Percent In 10 Years,

Yeah you’re absolutly correct. I came to this country for the freedom it offered and now I feel like I have a ball and chain attached to it. The US government and state governments have taxed and regulated me to death. They have turned me into a virtual slave. Why should I work my coullo off so that a bunch of lazy bastardos can sit on their coullos all day? Why should I have to contribute to obama’s daughter going to my home country on spring break? Why would a government that is in the dire financial condition that ours is in spend more on a 1 week spring break for a 13 year old girl than what most Americans make in a life time? No wonder we are going to go broke. Its not just 1 party either, it’s both. We need to stop voting for incumbants and we need to start telling the lazy American people and the lazy immigrants and especially the lazy politicians that the taxpayer doesn’t owe you a dam thing. If you can’t pay your own bills in this country go the hell back to where you came from I don’t care how many generations ago your ancesters came here, and that includes you indians too. And these dam politicians all they do is sqabble about how much they are going to steal from us who are willing to work. A lot of posters even on this site are siding with one of these parties or the other. What a joke! Can’t you all see that it’s one system and that they are just putting on a show for you? It wasn’t long ago that we had no income tax. Now even if it were 100% percent there wouldn’t be enough money coming in to balance the budget. That is a fact. Check it out for yourselves if you don’t believe me. We need to change our whole way of thinking and stop shifting our bills into the future or we will leave our kids with nothing. We will revert back to turd world status just like so many great societies before us have done.

Another drop in the bucket of lost freedoms…Just a little every day and no one will notice their freedoms are slipping away, right? How would you like a much smaller government? How would you like less government in your life? How would you like less corruption and waste in government? How would you like less interfering and warring in other countries? How would you like politicians who listen to the people and respond in like?

These are just a few of the benefits available to anyone who truly wants them. Keep doing what you have been doing and you WILL keep getting what you have been getting (in government). Why do you continue to do the same thing that will guarantee continued government of destruction? Both parties are corrupt and self-serving and you know this, yet you keep voting them in and then complaining about how they ruin the country.

So many people vote for the “lesser of two evils” because they don’t like either party or candidate. Voting for the lesser of the evils is STILL voting for evil…Since you are going to vote for one of the evils anyway, why don’t you consider voting for the lesser of the three evils? The Libertarian party is not going to please everyone on every issue, but it will certainly provide a much better system of government than we have had from the other two parties. Look into it, give some thought or keep on doing what you have been doing and KEEP ON getting what you have been getting.

I am a typical hard working American, one who commonly puts in 60 to 80 hour weeks, sometimes going three or four weeks at a time without a single day off…all for about $30,000 a year.

The way things are in today’s political climate, I suppose most people would think me to be an ideal candidate for Obamas ‘mischievous verbal manure.

But I came here, an immigrant, in1966 to escape the same kind of politics that Obama and the left are selling now to a largely misinformed and ignorant lower economic Class, calong with their restrictive regulations and incredibly high taxes, and to seek the opportunities and freedom that America promised to those willing to work, even if starting off at the bottom.

But times have changed…definitely not for the better, and the closer we get to following the communist/Marxist/Western European political philosophy, well, I hate to burst your beautiful bubble, the fact is you will be worse off, much worse off, with sinking incomes burdened with ever increasinfg taxes, after all, someone has to pay for all the “free stuff” that the Government is giving away to buy your votes.

These economic policies are totally destructive to the American way of life.

For the record, I am “an old, white man”, a traditional supporter of the real right, aptly named because the Right has it right, and the Left, well, it just can not add up numbers and then serve them up truthfully…to do so would expose fraud pulled upon you, dear reader, on an absolutely massive scale, just to get your uninformed vote. And the Left is wrong!

There is no such thing as a free lunch. Get used to it.

The average number of persons killed in these situtations when the police responds is 14.3 the average when an armed private citizen takes action is 2.3. I guess the Obama administration really doesn’t care 12 people will be saved by a citizen taken action. They only are interested in controlling the masses.

I say…we take all the guns er, I mean, personal defense weapons, that the department of homeland security bought, and distribute them to the citizens who PAID for them. Then we issue everybody in homeland security, a nice pair of scissors!!!

Since Mr. Obama’s policies will be so damaging to the country, they could open up a quick pathway for a republican return to power in 2014 in the senate and 2016 in the white house. If republicans truly believe this, why not roll over and approve every Obama nomination to every office? Why not roll over and eliminate the debt ceiling? Why not roll over and pass all the funding bills to his liking? Republicans can tell the media and their constituents that since Obama won, they will not stand in his way to implement his vision for america as a matter of congressional courtesy. If their constituents don’t like the results, they can vote republican in 2014 and 2016. This could so confound Mr. Obama, he might actually start to think through the results of his policies and change them accordingly. Republicans have nothing more to lose than they are already losing.

@ DFields (or should I say DFective?)

There you go with the old Stalinist saw that Fascists are somehow “right wing”. If by “right wing”, you mean “anti-socialist”, then you and everyone who equates the two are just plain wrong. “Nazi” is the mercifully shortened version of the name of the “National SOCIALIST German Workers’ Party” (to use the English translation) that ran Germany into the ground. The early fascists explicitly presented their system as a kind of “Marxism 2.0″. (And this country’s Wilson administration was its first real test — complete with a corps of thugs loyal to the supreme leader.)

Those of us who know our history and understand it frankly have trouble keeping a straight face when trying to deal with the likes of yourself as if you were as intelligent and/or well informed as you think you are.

The Rebublican party is dead because it’s no different than the Democratic party, other than maybe a few less extremists.
I’ve hear that the way to get a third party is to start at the local level and work up to the national. Does anyone think that there is time for that to happen with the speed in which we are moving to a wall?

NOW is the time to start to organize with ideas on what this new party will represent.

No time like the present to try and turn this fiasco around, if you think it can be done.

Underwear Flashing

An economic indicator goes positive. When he was chairman of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan said that one of the unusual indicators he followed was sales of men’s underwear. The theory posits that sales decline when men are pessimistic about their incomes and the economy. Let’s hope the opposite is also true, because Hanes and other underwear manufacturers are reporting higher sales than they’ve enjoyed in years. The men’s underwear indicator is flashing positive.
