2nd Amendment Under Fire
Yesterday, Secretary of State John Kerry signed the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, despite warnings from 130 members of Congress and a vote of 53-46 in the Senate earlier this year to “uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”
Those involved in the traditional political realm of left and right deem me delusional. I am labeled a “radical” by those on the right and a “reactionary” by those on the left. In fact, I am neither. Rather, I am the dreaded Libertarian who believes that government, if it must exist at all, must be structurally limited. And it is clear that in that belief I am a part of a small minority.
With only a week to go before new gun laws that limit “assault weapons” and require fingerprints and licenses for handguns take effect, Maryland residents are buying firearms at an unprecedented rate.
