Brewing A Conflict With China

Brewing A Conflict With China
China’s rise is a great boon to the U.S. military-security complex.

Washington has pressured the Philippines, whose government it owns, into conducting joint military exercises in the South China Sea. Washington’s excuse is that China has territorial disputes with the Philippines, Indonesia and other countries concerning island and sea rights in the South China Sea. Washington asserts that China’s territorial disputes with the likes of Indonesia and the Philippines are a matter of U.S. national interests.

Washington has not made it clear what its stake is in the disputes. The reason Washington cannot identify why China’s disputes with the Philippines and Indonesia are threats to the United States is that there is no reason. Nevertheless, the undefined “threat” has become the reason Washington needs more naval bases in the Philippines and South Korea.

This is all about provoking a long-term cold war conflict with China that will keep profits and power flowing into Washington’s military-security complex. Large profits flow to armaments companies. A portion of the profits reflow into campaign contributions to “the people’s representatives” in Washington and to Presidential candidates who openly sell out their country to private interests.

Washington is going to construct new naval bases in the Philippines and on the environmentally protected Jeju Island that belongs to South Korea. Washington will waste
tax revenues or print more money in order to build the unnecessary fleets to occupy these bases. Washington is acquiring bases in Australia for U.S. Marines to protect Australia from China, despite the lack of Chinese threats against Australia. George W. Bush and Barack Obama are the leading models of the “people’s President” who sell out the people, at home and abroad, to private interests.

Why is Washington ramping up a new cold war?

The answer begins with President Dwight Eisenhower’s 1961 warning to the American people in his last public address about the military-industrial complex.

Eisenhower pointed out to Americans that, unlike previous wars after which the United States demilitarized, after World War II the Cold War with the Soviet Union kept the power and profits flowing into the military-industrial complex, now known as the military-security complex. Eisenhower said that the flow of power and profit into the military-industrial complex was a threat to the economic well-being and liberty of the American people.

No one paid any attention, and the military-security complex was glad to be rid of the five-star general war hero President when his second term expired. Thanks to the hype about the “Soviet threat,” the military-security complex faced an unlimited horizon of mounting profits and power as Americans sacrificed their future to the interests of those who protected Americans from the Soviet threat.

The good times rolled for the armaments companies and security agencies for almost three decades until President Ronald Reagan and Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev reached agreement and ended the Cold War. When the Soviet Union subsequently collapsed, the future outlook for the power and profit of the U.S. military-security complex was bleak. The 1 percent was about to lose its fortunes, and the secret government was about to lose its power.

The military-security complex went to work to revive the need for a massive “defense” and “security” budget. Among their willing tools were the neoconservatives, with their French Jacobin ideology and Israeli loyalties. The neocons defined America as the “indispensable people.” Such extraordinary people as Americans must establish hegemony over the world as the sole remaining superpower. As most neoconservatives are allied with Israel, the Muslim Mideast became the target of opportunity.

Muslims are sufficiently different from Westerners in that Muslims are easy to demonize.
The demonization began in the neoconservative publications. Once Dick Cheney had the Bush regime staffed with neoconservatives, the next step was to create “threats” to Americans out of verbiage about the Taliban’s responsibility for 9/11 and about “Iraqi weapons of mass destruction,” including verbal images from Bush’s National Security Adviser of “mushroom clouds” over U.S. cities.

No one in the U.S. government or the “free” U.S. media or the media of the U.S. puppet states in England, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Australia and South Korea was struck by Washington’s proposition that “the world’s sole superpower” was threatened by the likes of Iraq and Iran, neither of which had any offensive military capability or any modern weapons, according to the unequivocal reports of the weapons inspectors.

What kind of “superpower” is threatened by Iraq and Iran? Certainly, not a real one.

No one seemed to notice that the alleged 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabians, not Afghans or Iraqis, yet it was Afghanistan and Iraq that were labeled “terrorist threats.” Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, which do terrorize their subjects, are safe from having America bring them democracy because they are Washington’s puppets — not independent countries.

As fear of nonentities swept over the population of “the world’s sole superpower,” the demands for war against “America’s enemies” – “you are with us or against us” — swept through the country. “Support the troops” plastic ribbons appeared on American cars. Americans went into a frenzy. The “towel heads” were after us, and we had to fight for our lives or be murdered in our beds, shopping centers and airliner seats.

It was all a hoax to replace the Soviet threat with the Muslim threat.

The problem that developed with the “Muslim threat” is that in order to keep the profits and power flowing into the military-security complex, the promised six-week war in Iraq had to be extended into eight years. The war in Afghanistan against a few thousand lightly armed Taliban has persisted for more than a decade, longer than the attempted Red Army occupation of Afghanistan.

In other words, the problem with hot wars is that the need to not win them in order to keep them going (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan are all long-term wars never won) in order that the profits and power continue to flow to the military-security complex demoralizes the U.S. military and creates the worldwide impression that the “world’s sole superpower” cannot even defeat a few thousand insurgents armed with AK-47s, much less a real army.

In Iraq and Afghanistan more U.S. soldiers have died from demoralization and suicides than from combat. In Iraq, the United States was humiliated by having to end the war by putting the Sunni insurgents on the U.S. military payroll and paying them to stop killing U.S. troops. In Korea the United States was stopped by an army of a backward Third World country that lived on rice. What would happen today if the U.S. “superpower” military confronted China, a country with an economy on which the United States is dependent (about equal in size to the U.S. economy), operating on its home territory? The only chance the evil in Washington would have would be nuclear war, which would mean the destruction of the entire world by Washington’s hubris.

Fortunately, profits are more important to Washington than ending life on Earth. Therefore, war with China will be avoided, just as it was avoided with the Soviet Union. However, China will be presented by Washington and its prostitute media — especially The New York Times, The Washington Post and Murdoch’s collection of whores — as the rising threat to America. The media story will shift the importance of America’s allies from Europe to countries bordering the South China Sea. American taxpayers’ money, or newly printed money, will flow into the “new alliance against China.”

China’s rise is a great boon to the U.S. military-security complex, which governs an America in which there is a pretense of “freedom and democracy.” China is the profitable replacement for the “Soviet threat.” As the days go by, the presstitute media will create in the feeble minds of Americans “The China Threat.”

Soon, whatever little remains of the U.S. standard of living will be sacrificed to Washington’s confrontation with China, along with the seizure of our pensions and personal savings in order to deter “the China threat.”

If only Americans were an intelligent people. Then they might have some prospect of holding on to their incomes, remaining wealth and liberty. Unfortunately, Americans are so thoroughly plugged into the matrix that they present as a doomed people, incapable of thought, reason or the ability to comprehend the facts that the rest of the world sees clearly.

Can reality be brought to the American people? Perhaps a miracle will occur. Stay tuned.

If our government is looking to China for a reaction to their latest false flag operation then they’re obviously barking up the wrong tree. I realize our foreign policy makers are idiots but surely even they know it’s a losing battle. I guess that wouldn’t surprise me if that’s what they really wanted. With so many other countries out there to continue to lie about and make up things to war about, it truly makes one wonder why they would want to piss in China’s back yard.

Now Paul, I think you’re bein’ a little hard on the folks there at the end a little bit! I see us as the last stumbling block that HAS to be dealt with in order to bring about the elitest’s grandious global vision!!! They know what they WANT to do, they just lack the gonads required to pull it off! As long as we don’t or are forced to surreder our 2nd Amendment rights, I don’t think they have what it takes to implement their vison! And as this site PROVES, there are PATRIOTS out there tryin’ their BEST to spread the word! I was born in 1958 and was a little too young to remember Ike very well. The new media was so unfair to old school politicians back then well I naturally thought of Ike as, well as an image of an old man out of the black and white past, do ya know what I mean?! I hope so ’cause I’m not so sure I do! LOL!!! I never gave Ike much thought at all until one day I found this lost book entitled, “The American Way of War” by Eugene Jarecki, well I couldn’t find the owner and bein’ the inquizative mind that I am, I started to read and barely put it down till I was done !!! It is an excellent study for the person who needs a little definition of the players that Paul deals with in his piece, who and what exactly are the neo-cons, what is the MIC (Which was the fore runner of the MSC Paul mentioned in his article.) and the general history behind this monstrosity! What a GREAT man Ike was!!! He saw this thing comin’ since the BIG ONE!!! Check this out!
“It is not enough merely to realize how freedom has been won. Essential also is it we be ever alert to all threats to that freedom. Easy to recognize is the threat from without. Easy too is it to see the threat of those who advocate its destruction from within. Less easy is it to see the dangers that arise from our own failure to analyze and understand the implications of various economic, social and political movements among ourselves. Our danger arises from too great a concentration of power in the hands of any individual or group. The power of concentrated finance, the power of selfish pressure groups, the power of any class organized in opposition to the whole – any one of these, when allowed to dominate, is fully capable of destroying individual freedom, as is excessive power in the political head of the state,” – Dewight D. Eisenhower, Inaugural Address, Columbia University, Oct. 12, 1948
What insight this GREAT patriot possesed!!! He saw what was comin’ as it was still in it’s infantcy and tirelessly tried to warn the world of it’s dangers!!! One of my favorite quotes of all time was the one he made about the concentration camps at the end of WWII, “Get it all on record now – get the films – get the witnesses – because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened” You can’t help but admire this man the more you find out about him, what a GREAT AMERICAN!!! I highly recommend the book previously mentioned even though the author seems to hold George Soros in some kind of philanthrophilosofical (Did I say that right?! LOL!!!) hero light. It’s an excellent read as far as the topic of conversation for today goes, EVEN if the author is WRONG about Mr. Soros!!! There was a resent controversy about the way Ike was going to be porteayed on a memorial dedicated to his honor, it got a little heated in that his family didn’t think the artist’s portrayal of Ike properly reflected the former presidents contributions to our country! I hate to say this, but I personally don’t think that would be humanly possible!!! Therefore, knowing what an avid golfer and fan of the sport Ike was, I would’ve choosen this one!!!,r:18,s:545,i:181

SALUTE!!! What a GREAT American! Our next to last GREAT president!!!

        Paul excellent article and analysis; Here is my take and analysis as to your comments;
The facts has been established that the military Industrial complex drives Washington to continue to increase its military budget, If there were no enemy one will be created to keep the US on the path of more defense expansion and increase its defense budget, however the US is now on the patch of being Bankrupt and in time the dollar as the world reserve currency will cease, following that the US will experience a massive hyperinflation, the inflation will wipe out most of the wealth of the American people, those that are savvy investors of the likes of Soros or Jim Rogers and perhaps 10 percent of the US population will not be impacted by the hyperinflation.
As to Muslim threat there is no Muslim regime that could not be defeated by the US exception guerilla protracted wars such as Afghanistan or others.
        Our old cold war enemies Russia and China are now closer to each other than during the cold war era, China has some territorial dispute with China that has now been settled peacefully by negotiation between the two countries;
The major threat will be from China as to the USA, many of the disputes remain unresolved, the US is flexing its military muscle in the South China sea such flexing will not deter China when the time is ready to confront the US militarily, in preparation of such confrontation China is devoting large resources to its military power, It has developed long range missile that will evade radar and capable of destroying an Aircraft carrier, it has the man power with a population of 1.3 billion to confront the US. In the event of a hot war, It is more likely that Russia will side with China, moreover Russia shares a border with China. Neither power will ever resort to the use of nuclear weapon that weapon will be considered mutual assured destruction and in that event there will be no winners.
The US Empire is now on a decline and the next rising empire both economically and militarily will be China, as the US economic power declines so will its military muscle and perhaps in the next 20 years the Chinese will begin to dictate its terms to Washington. The US will not be in a position to wage a war against China when that war is closer to China back yard, China is no Japan that was defeated by the use of a nuclear bomb that Japan does not have to retaliate. The military reality will cause the US to make more concession to China and perhaps the issue will be resolved without a hot war. The technology edge that the US has during the cold war is waning since US education is falling behind that of China. As a westerner it pains me to say that China will be the next greatest empire. By historical fact many empires have risen and fell most recent the British now it is the turn of the American empire that is falling rapidly, moreover by historical fact when an empire begins to fall it never stops falling it continues until another country of the world assumes the role, that role is now going towards China. The era of European dominance is also coming to an end wealth is now moving from the west to the East. In my book I have written a chapter titled, ‘The China story’ prior to completing this chapter I went to China on a fact finding mission. Thus the reason we MUST let China know that WE will not lay down and let them walk right over the top of us, once we do, we’ll have officially have been moved to the back burner of human hiistory and the beginning of the end!
One of the interesting arguments that always erupts whenever End Time prophecy is debated is the FACT that there is no clear cut reference to anything that even minutely resembles the United States among the kingdom representatives of the Last Days prophecies! There are the kings of the east (Rev. 16:12) which we all pretty much agree means the Orient (Everything east of the Euphrades.), there is the king of the south, which almost all including myself agree represents the Arab peoples. Then we have the king of the north and I and pretty much all agree that this also represents Gog, the chief prince of Magog of the book of Ezekiel chaps. 38 and 39′s “War of the Latter Years” or modern day Russia. Then there is the king of the west and we all pretty much agree that this represents the kingdom of the anti-Christ! and that he will come of the same people whom destroyed the Temple and the Sanctuary in 70 AD. Who was that? The Romans! The European Union was ratified in 1958 with the signing of the “Treaty of Rome”!!!, I along with a lot of others who study prophecy agree that this is the beginning of the kingdom of the anti-Christ and will either engulf or defeat the United States to form a global union. I along with some other prophecy students look at Jeremiah ch. 50 and Rev, ch. 18 and wonder if the United States isn’t the material Babylon prophesied to be destroyed in the Last Days! I challenge all to read both of these chapters especially Rev. 18 with 9/11 in mind!!! It’ll give ya duck-bumps on top of your goose-pimples!!!
        JESUS IS COMIN’!!! Are you ready?!! If not, would ya like to be?!! He stands at the door and knocks, won’t you let Him in?! Do you know Him as your personal Lord and Savior?!! If not would ya like to? It’s as easy as simply bowing your head right where you’re at and sincerely praying this prayer;
Lord, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He came and died to pay the penalty for the sins that I have committed. I ask You to forgive me, and to give me the gift of eternal life You promised. Come into my life, and cause me to be born again. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer and meant it with your entire heart, know that He did come into your heart and now you’re ready for whatever this ole’ world has to throw at ya!!! Hallelujah!
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” – II Tim. 3:1-5
Folks, I challange you to find a better description of the human race today ANYWHERE!!!

Well first off China does not want to recognize international law or agreements. They think their rights to the ocean goes right up to Philippine shore. We have a protection agreement also with the Philippines, and they are our alley and a very good one.

Secondly China is now building large Aircraft Carriers, and nuclear subs with which to patrol all the Pacific, and Indian Ocean. This has created a new arms race in Asia. Do you want the Chinese Navy patrolling with in one mile of SanFransico? Well if left alone, that will happen. THey are now with lots of cash because we gave all the manufacturing to them for cheap goods. Now we pay!

The real issue in the ocean to the west of the Philippines, is huge oil and natural gas reserves, that China would like for its own. It is also within the Philippines water.

      • Tom W.

So we’re allowing a sworn enemy to manufactuer our defensive armaments?!! Please someone wake me up! This can’t be truly happening!!!

“What are we fighting for? Why do we bury our sons and brothers in lonely graves far from home? For bigger and better business? You know the answer. We’re fighting for liberty – the most expensive luxury known to man. These rights, these privileges, these traditions are precious enough to fight for, precious enough to die for.

Castaway, good analysis of the situation in the Phillipines . You are correct when you say China is being a bully and is forcing the issue and is encroaching in waters that they don’t own. Not only is that area around the Sprately Islands rich in oil and natural gas but is also an excellent fishing grounds with an abundance of several different fish. As time goes on China gets bolder and bolder in their aggresive actions. The Fillipino govt. has requested our help with the situation and we should aid then as we can. I understand we have already supplied them with 2 warships so their Navy can confront the Chinese as necessary. We should have their back and since they are an ally of the US. Craig Roberts is all wrong on this one.

And this is one of the many who helped bring this mess to our shores!

Albert Pike was born on December 29, 1809, in Boston, and was the oldest of six children born to Benjamin and Sarah Andrews Pike. He studied at Harvard, and later served as a Brigadier-General in the Confederate Army. After the Civil War, Pike was found guilty of treason and jailed, only to be pardoned by fellow Freemason President Andrew Johnson on April 22, 1866, who met with him the next day at the White House. On June 20, 1867, Scottish Rite officials conferred upon Johnson the 4th to 32nd Freemasonry degrees, and he later went to Boston to dedicate a Masonic Temple.
Pike was said to be a genius (as most liberals consider themselves to be) at various stages of his life we was a poet, philosopher, frontiersman, soldier, humanitarian and philanthropist. A 33rd degree Mason, he was one of the founding fathers, and head of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, being the Grand Commander of North American Freemasonry from 1859 and retained that position until his death in 1891. In 1869, he was a top leader in the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
Pike was a Satanist, who indulged in the occult, and he apparently possessed a bracelet which he used to summon Lucifer, with whom he had constant communication.
Pike was the Grand Master of a Luciferian group known as the Order of the Palladium (or Sovereign Council of Wisdom), which had been founded in Paris in 1737. Palladism had been brought to Greece from Egypt by Pythagoras in the fifth century, and it was this cult of Satan that was introduced to the inner circle of the Masonic lodges. It was aligned with the Palladium of the Templars. In 1801, Issac Long brought a statue of Baphomet (Satan) to Charleston, South Carolina, where he helped to establish the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Long apparently chose Charleston because it was geographically located on the 33rd parallel of latitude (incidentally, so is Baghdad), and this council is considered to be the Mother Supreme Council of all Masonic Lodges of the World.
Pike also predicted three world wars. He not only predicted them, but was major planner of their creation.
      These are his words.
“The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the “agentur” (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions.”
Students of history will recognize that the political alliances of England on one side and Germany on the other, forged between 1871 and 1898 by Otto von Bismarck, co-conspirator of Albert Pike, were instrumental in bringing about the First World War.
“The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm.”
After this Second World War, Communism was made strong enough to begin taking over weaker governments. In 1945, at the Potsdam Conference between Truman, Churchill, and Stalin, a large portion of Europe was simply handed over to Russia, and on the other side of the world, the aftermath of the war with Japan helped to sweep the tide of Communism into China.
(Readers who argue that the terms Nazism and Zionism were not known in 1871 should remember that the Illuminati invented both these movements. In addition, Communism as an ideology, and as a coined phrase, originates in France during the Revolution. In 1785, Restif coined the phrase four years before revolution broke out. Restif and Babeuf, in turn, were influenced by Rousseau – as was the most famous conspirator of them all, Adam Weishaupt.)
“The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.”

Oh, one more point of interest.
Ron Paul is a mason in the 52nd degree.
Bush Sr in the 23 degree.
Bush Jr in the 32 degree.
Bill Clinton in the 13th degree.
      Obama? Satan himself!
      Mitt Romney? not a mason……………

      • Tom W.

Void , thank you soo much for the very enlightening posts!!! Can you elaborate on the 52nd degree, I never heard of such! Please enlighten me with a site or more info! I suspect Pike was directly involved in the assassination of Lincoln, Thus the prominance he enjoyed as a socialite in DC in his waning year at the close of the 19th century, and the honor (The ONLY confederate gen. to be afforded such!) of having his statue erected across from the Supreme Court Bldg.! How many blacks in this country do you think know that Pike was the rumored FOUNDER of the KKK! And if they did, how long do you think that statue would continue to stand across from the highest court in OUR land?!!
Thanx and keep your eyes on the skies!!!

      • Tom W.

No but it is interesting that the founder of Mitt’s religion is rumored to have been murdered by the Freemasons for breaking his sacred blood oath and devulging the secrets he was sworn to keep! Please note that Mormon temples also display Masonic signs and symbols!!! Is Mormonism even worse?! Here’s one for you Void, ever hear of the “Hells Fire Club” in London? Benjamine Franklin was a very prominant member!!!

MID – Military Industrial Complex, President Eisenhower was correct, extremely so in his denouncement of this monster. But even so, what may have transpired over those years now gone if we had not built our military’s technical edge? A speculative answer is all that is available to that question. An improvised “cold war” with China is questionable especially since there is more at play here with them – the U.S. dollar. China could eliminate our supposed threat to them on a whim – no longer accept the U.S. dollar. What would be our alternatives? None. And the MID as well as the “all knowing” members of Congress are fully aware of this fact. How far they may push it is also another unknown. Wait and see. But when it comes to the Muslim threat, that is an area that more concern should be placed than we have seen so far. Oh yes, it’s there but it is being craftily limited also. That unquestionably is a true threat whether it is accepted by many or not. The closer association with the Muslim Brotherhood, on Presidential levels, should be more than a sufficient amount of proof. Historically, President Jefferson was at war with the Muslims for five years – they do not fear dying – they seek it in joy! China hits us via the markets and cyber arena. The Islamic threat of destruction, literally, is real, very real. This is a good article. It points out many important areas that we should be aware of but there still exists competition between the powers on a global scale for who the next “King of the Hill” is going to be.

    • nc

Sirian, I agree that the article has some real good points but I don’t see Muslim nations as a real real military threat to this country . You can take the combined navies of the 5 strongest Muslim nations and they couldn’t land enough soldiers on our shores that a well trained sheriff’s department couldn’t handle! I doubt that such a convoy would make it within a 1000 miles of our shores.
What might happen is that a party dedicated to supporting Isreal at all cost (Republicans) could let Israel drag us into an other mid-east war! I support Obama but not his polcy of remaining in Afghanistan! In all of history it has never been controled by foot soldiers and we have spent too much money to build the most technologically equipped military advantage to fight door to door or mountain to mountain. See Iraq where Saddam lured bush into a door to door operation that nullified 75% of the technology we had paid for and let a country half the size of Texas with no planes, no helicoptors, no navy, no tanks and no heavy artillary hold us at bay for 7 years. Not a real stellar job as Commander in Chief by the Cretin From Crawford!!

There is much you have yet to learn about the main intent and drive of the Islamic/Muslim terrorist movement. Please get a copy of the following: SHARIA – The Threat to America. You can find it on Amazon or a variety of other book sources. This alone will give you a much fuller understanding as to what is actually taking place that you, and so many others are totally oblivious to. There are numerous other books available by various former Muslims that are very worthwhile too but the one I listed should provide you with more than enough for now. Also, watch the documentary that I have tacked on below. Be sure to watch the discussion that followed. The people in the discussion group are way above your understanding of this problem. Once you’ve completed reading and watching and listening with hopefully a desire to learn, then we can discuss this area further.

“You can take the combined navies of the 5 strongest Muslim nations and they couldn’t land enough soldiers on our shores that a well trained sheriff’s department couldn’t handle!”

Yet neocon rhetoric was very successful in convincing masses of people in the USA : “IF you are reading this in English – thank a soldier”

      • DaveH

Okay, let’s get this straight, Sirian. We’ve been messing with the Muslim Countries for at least 60 years that I know of, and many others for over 100 years. Gee, I can’t imagine why they would be pissed at the US. Here’s just one example:

I’m certainly not siding with the fanatical Islamics, but who wouldn’t be pissed when a foreign country is constantly messing in their politics? If you walk over to your neighbor’s house and tell him how to live, get ready for trouble.

Keeping people in fear is one way Leaders keep their Power. The other way is promising people other peoples’ money. It’s time to break their grip, Sirian, and face up to the fact that the Leaders have been making fools of the citizens for over 100 years.

      • DaveH

Please read this article by one of the greatest thinkers of our lifetime:

      • TML

Sirian says, “There is much you have yet to learn about the main intent and drive of the Islamic/Muslim terrorist movement… …The people in the discussion group are way above your understanding of this problem. Once you’ve completed reading and watching and listening with hopefully a desire to learn, then we can discuss this area further.”

So, in other words, anyone who has an opinion based on their own in-depth research into the Muslim faith, and the Islamic culture, can not possibly know what they are talking about if they don’t hold the same view as you, and what these supposed ‘experts’ are trying to tell you, eh?

Sirian says, “SHARIA – The Threat to America”

Ok, so is this the book?

Which preface states: “This study is the result of months of analysis, discussion and drafting by a group of top security policy experts concerned with the preeminent totalitarian threat of our time: the legal-political-military doctrine
        known within Islam as “shariah.”

In other words, this is not an objective look at the subject as it already presupposes Islam as a preeminent totalitarian threat by a “group of top policy experts”.

I have read the book, and if such book is the best argument you have to offer, then it is debunked before we even start.

Sirian says, “But when it comes to the Muslim threat, that is an area that more concern should be placed than we have seen so far.”

We are at war with the entire Middle East, literally, and you think more concern should be placed than what we have seen so far? Such ignorance makes me wonder if you’re even capable of rational discussion on the subject without your religious bias and fear… and make no mistake, that is all that drives you. It is certainly not objective reason.

Sirian says, “That unquestionably is a true threat whether it is accepted by many or not.”

The only unquestionable threat across the globe, ‘whether you accept it or not’, is America

Sirian says, “Historically, President Jefferson was at war with the Muslims for five years…”

Only because the killing of American was taking place over seas. Had this not been the case Jefferson would not have fought them, and it ended in the Treaty of Tripoli which was honored by both sides. So, you ignore history expect what is selective to your purpose. They do not “seek it [war] in joy”, fool.

Sirian says, “The Islamic threat of destruction, literally, is real, very real.”

As real a threat as poking at the tiger in his cage… wake up Sirian, and stop letting your religious bias fear drive your reason. The majority of Muslims are nothing like what you claim. There are indeed you minority Muslim extremist, but these cave dwelling terrorist boogymen are not threats to this great nation. Such extremeist muslims are no more a threat than religious Christian nuts which seek to Crusade against the evil Muslim, as you do. Yes, that’s what IO said Sirian, you are not better than they.

      • Sirian

I understand where you’re coming from – very good articles, have always enjoyed Rothbard and am aware of the ’53 coup – but there is unfortunately a threat to our nation that remains in place and is being worked quite vigorously. From where the blame is rooted could be argued for years. Even so, I agree that we may have had a hand in disrupting some, not all, of the political scenarios in the Mid-East. But when there has been an extensive if not perpetual intent by various Muslim factions since, shall we say, 1928 and before, moderate or otherwise, to destroy and or re-conquer both Europe and the U.S. with Israel closest at hand of course, there remains much that personally should dislodge from theory and willingly or not return to the real world that we live in now. Keep in mind that from the beginning there has been an ever present threat to anyone, no matter what area of the world they may happen to be from, if they are not willing to either convert of subject themselves to Islamic law, sharia, they are considered “infidels” and thusly eliminated. In basic terms, it makes no difference as to what lengths may happen to be required, to them, Islam will prevail. Once you have a mindset of that nature, so intensely embedded from the days of a very young child to adulthood, then no matter what it may take the primary end objective will continue to be pursued. Are not suicide bombers a very pronounce example of this? So, like it or not, that is what we are dealing with now but you must understand that it is on a much grander scale than it was before. Why? As you said, over the past 60 to 100 year time period, yes, that may have been when we have made mistakes (Lord have we made mistakes before) but it also must be understood that there has been a major influx of financial prosperity for many of the prominent families/tribes in the Mid-East via oil. Not the Mid-East nations on a whole, only specific families/tribes. Is not Saudi a prime example? We were the discoverers of this spring of fortune in that region of the world were we not? Had this not have taken place perhaps we may not have been confronted and or threatened as quickly. Either way, from this vast and continuous financial spring more actions on their part have been followed through with. Wahhabism is quite prevalent is it not? That singularly plays a major role in this, more so than is commonly understood. We have attempted on a number of occasions to stifle, if not stop this growing cancer but due to a total lack of understanding by our leaders it has quietly yet steadily grown into what it is today. We have been infiltrated by such groups as far up as the White House. This I assume you are fully aware of. Isn’t it odd that we were overly concerned of being infiltrated by communists back in the fifties and sixties but there has been very little if hardly anything said about what has been going on the same front, only Muslims this time around, for well over twenty years? (Why is it that Congress stopped printing Jefferson’s Quran? If by some remote chance that you are not familiar with that, please research it – very interesting). Yet as I was saying, why has the infiltration been ignored? Being it as it may, without question, from the intrinsic nature of our leaders, yes, I agree with you. They most certainly have made fools of us all. But remember, a fools fool can be the best friend they’ve ever had. And from this crowning point of ignorance they have become very proficient at doing just that, absolutely!!

        DAVE H,

Way to go Dave.No wonder we are at war with other countries. We never learn..When are we going to stop meddling in other countries’ affairs? Good post Dave.

Your scholarly liberal honors are truly shining TML, don’t you just feel wonderful?

      • http://peresonallibertydigest.. gottaplenty

nc you had better get someone to wake you up . You have missed a whole bunch in the recent times as to who these muslams are if you think some cowboy sherif could take care of them Since our potus is one of them they have established a beachhead in this country to begin thier jehad in your front yard when ever the word is given to proceed killing off the infidels. There are more coming every day…Do a little research to see who they are then take a look around you..This May day thing is just a sample of how bthey will rise up out of the woodwork. Its bigger than it looks.

      • TML

Sirian says, “Your scholarly liberal honors are truly shining TML, don’t you just feel wonderful?”

I’m not liberal, genius. I’m just not religiously racist, and done my homework.

Sirian says, “Keep in mind that from the beginning there has been an ever present threat to anyone, no matter what area of the world they may happen to be from, if they are not willing to either convert of subject themselves to Islamic law, sharia, they are considered “infidels” and thusly eliminated. In basic terms, it makes no difference as to what lengths may happen to be required, to them, Islam will prevail.”

This is the same kind of tripe they spouted ages ago to justify the Crusades. You are no different than the radical Muslim, Sirian.

      • TML

gottaplenty says, “Since our potus is one of them they have established a beachhead in this country…”

Interesting that people always say Obama is Muslim, yet he has made war with the entire Middle East and supports Zionism.

      • TML

Sirian says, “Once you have a mindset of that nature, so intensely embedded from the days of a very young child to adulthood, then no matter what it may take the primary end objective will continue to be pursued. Are not suicide bombers a very pronounce example of this?”

Japanese suicide bombers were not Muslim, so no suicide bombers do not indicate this.

Sirian says, “So, like it or not, that is what we are dealing with now but you must understand that it is on a much grander scale than it was before. Why? As you said, over the past 60 to 100 year time period, yes, that may have been when we have made mistakes (Lord have we made mistakes before) but it also must be understood that there has been a major influx of financial prosperity for many of the prominent families/tribes in the Mid-East via oil.”

So, you claim that we are dealing with this now on a much greater scale, because of prominent families via oil? If you knew anything about history you wouldn’t be able to say that with a straight face. Mistakes were made long before 60 to 100 years ago mind you… it was during the 3rd Crusade that warring Muslim factions united under the Saladin, the Muslim Sultan of Egypt and Syria, into a cohesive Islamic state…. Not to rule the world, but to defend against the preemptive wars of Christians. Get it right.

Sirian says, “Is not Saudi a prime example?”

Saudi is a puppet state of the U.S.

Sirian says, “We were the discoverers of this spring of fortune in that region of the world were we not?”

And this is the reason why Saudi is a puppet state, and why it has so many Muslim Saudi’s pissed off. Is it any wonder why the 9/11 attackers mostly Saudi?

Sirian says, “Wahhabism is quite prevalent is it not? That singularly plays a major role in this, more so than is commonly understood. We have attempted on a number of occasions to stifle, if not stop this growing cancer but due to a total lack of understanding by our leaders it has quietly yet steadily grown into what it is today.”

So in your view, it is not that we rule over the Saudi’s that causes this, but that their religion is evil and seeks to take over the world. Please… PLEASE, read some real history objectively. You are in bad need of it.

Sirian says, “We have been infiltrated by such groups as far up as the White House.”

And yet, he makes war with the entire Middle East and support Zionism…. Please reconcile this apparent contradiction of claim.

Sirian says, “(Why is it that Congress stopped printing Jefferson’s Quran? If by some remote chance that you are not familiar with that, please research it – very interesting).”

Why on earth would ‘Congress’ need to be printing Jefferson’s Quran? It’s available already for anyone. I’ve read it.

Sirian says, “Yet as I was saying, why has the infiltration been ignored?”

Like say, how the “infiltration” of Jews has been ignored? Get real will you please. You are nothing more than religiously racist, and paranoid.

Sirian says, “They most certainly have made fools of us all. But remember, a fools fool can be the best friend they’ve ever had. And from this crowning point of ignorance they have become very proficient at doing just that, absolutely!!”

That would be you Sirian as you support the neoconservative agenda through religious ignorance.

      • DaveH

What I don’t get is the ‘we better get them before they get us’ mentality. Don’t people realize that such actions make them the Aggressors, the Bad Guys?

      • Tom W.

I think you seriously underestimate the enemy nc! Thomas Jefferson was a brilliant man, he was responsible for the very first English translation oh the Quran. Our Navy and others were being TERRORIZED by the Muslim pirates who lurked in the Mediterranean waters off of North Africa’s Barbary Coast and TJ realised that the best way to understand this enemy was to understand the religion they were all so bound to. That was BRILLIANT and should serve as a lesson to us today in dealing with these barbarians!!!

Sura 2:191 – ”Kill them (unbelievers) wherever you find them. Drive them out of the places from which they drove you, for persecution is worse than slaughter…. Such is the reward of those who reject faith.”
Sura 2:193 – ”Fight against them (unbelievers) until there is no dissension, and the religion is for Allah.”
Fight until no other religion exists but Islam.
Sura 3:151 – ”We will throw terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve.”
Sura 8:12, 14 – ”I shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Strike them above the necks, smite their finger tips…. the punishment of the fire is for the unbelievers.”

I could go on and on, but I think you got my point!!!
Old Chinese proverb; Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

        Have you forgotten nc?!

      • DaveH

What I get, Tom, is that you think we should imitate those peoples’ bad behavior.

      • Tom W.

No DaveH, but like the Chinese proverb says, no let me give ya another example, “The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.” – Friedrich Hege

l “We believe, given the changing political landscape in Egypt, that it is in the best interests of the United States to engage with all parties that are peaceful, and committed to non-violence, that intend to compete for the parliament and president.” – US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, concerning the engaging of talks with the Muslim Brotherhood as a legitimate contending party in Egyptian politics.

“Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Quran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.” – The motto of the Muslim Brotherhood, this is the same group who so prouldly proclaimed responsibility for the assassination of Anwar Sadat in 1981.

“And for their saying, “Verily we have slain the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, an apostle of God.” Yet they slew him not, and they crucified him not, but they had only his likeness, and they who differed about him were in doubt concerning him: No sure knowledge had they about him, but followed only an opinion, and they did not really slay him, but God took him up to Himself. And God is mighty, wise!
There shall not be one of the people of the Book but shall believe in Him before his death, and in the Day of Resurrection, He will be a witness against them.
For the wickedness of certain Jews, and because they turn many from the way of God, We have forbidden them goodly viands which had been before allowed them.” – Sura 4:156-158
Muslims claim that Christians and Jews are intolerant reguarding them. These verses from their own holy book plainly show that it is them who have been intolerant towards both religions from their very conception.

You CAN NOT make peace with someone who wants to KILL you DaveH, and if there’s goin’ to be a fight, I would much rather take the fight to them on their turf than to allow the fight to come to our shores and threaten our families and friends!!!

Faith, hope, and love are some good things he gave us, but the GREATEST is LOVE!

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” – John 15:13 (KJV)

Moos-limms don’t need navies they are destroying us from within as they have England and France ….. this battles is first off spiritual Esau and Jacob and second the Christians have been neutered by hugging their 501(c)3 tax exempt status which they refuse to give up. Heck if the churches lack the guts to to tell the IRS to stick it what chance do we have to fight off the moos-lim cultural war we presently have today? If you search WND they have a book about CAIR and the insiders that took the documents to prove CAIR was a terrorist organization was forced by a judge to give back all the document and BOTH presidents have coddled them and protected them!!!! If yo are a 501(c)3 pastor and you are reading these posts then you sir are part of the problem repent and set your flock free!

        Deuteronomy – Chapter 13
        6 – If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which [is] as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
        7 – [Namely], of the gods of the people which [are] round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth;
8 – Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
9 – But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

Can any human honestly and TRULY say that they UNDERSTAND the enemy TML?!!! I believe the the person who says they do is in SERIOUS jepordy of losing their salvation if that be possible. I sure that Eve thought she understood Satan in the garden!!!

“Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days” – Dan. 10:8-14 (KJV).

I’m more concerned about Homeland Security buying 450 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow point ammo from ATK, compounded with the new laws, NSA’s complex being built in Utah, FEMA camps…

Jump over to this and watch the video. Former NSA people have a great deal to say.

I might add that such ammo has been outlawed in any international conflict or war yet there is no limitations in using them on a National level in our own Country.. Be concerned Ret, be VERY concerned.

I am also concerned about the Ammo with the rapid decline of the US economy and Unemployment numbers that the adminstaration has failed to give us the true number.
Millions of American jobs are being lost by those that support Chinese labor and other third world country labor, where western companies employ as low as $35.00 per month. Yet our Government does nothing to correct our flawed trade policy. In time we shall enter a period of hyperinflation when that occurs Americans will resort to violent demonstration. The FACT that there aren’t more Americans with the same attitude of those Israelis surronded by their MORTAL enemies, Is this not the very embodyment of carrying a BIG stick?!! I’m gonna tell ya what I believe GEEK, and that’s that God’s Holy Word says that that land belongs to His chosen people and that He’s gettin’ ready to deal with their stony hearts right there on the hills and mountains of the land that He gave to their forefathers! It also says that those people are the apple of His eye and that whosoever blesses them, He will bless, and that whosoever has the nerve to curse these BEAUTIFUL people, that He will CURSE them!!! If you want to test God GEEK, PLEASE I pray, let it be to your own demise! FOOL!!! Don’t you know tha ONE day Jerusalem shall be CATITAL to ALL who will call it theirs?!! Your obvious hate for Israel is a complete abnegation of reason to believe that Israel has no right to exist or defend herself. In defending herself, Israel is also defending the USA.
The main topic in the article is of USA nudging a slow and cumbersome dragon, but it may also be that the dragon is being warned that it cannot move beyond its territorial confinement.
As of now China has no use for us. It has our technology, our factories, etc.. Now the whole world is open to buy their junk and we are only a small, small part.

      • oh oh

To make any sense out of these prophesies, you have to know who Israel is. Judeo-Christian mythology has confused this issue among Christian churches for decades, causing them to become ignorant of their own heritage and inheritance and also ignorant of the identity of the children of the Father of Lies who have been deceiving Christians to their detriment ever since. The majority of the people who occupy Israel are not even related to Biblical Israel (even many Jews admit this), yet we continue to bend over for them and accept their betrayals and abuse as if they were. That they have an ancient claim to the land called Israel is a fantasy; but apparently that’s good enough for today’s dumbed down Christians.

WAR IS WAR, and should be AT ALL COSTS avoided unless for self-preservation or the defence or rescue of abused peoples around our globe!!! One of the conspiracy theories behind the assassination of JFK is that he was killed because he wanted to start pulling our troops outta SE Asia and the MIC was havin’ no part of it! Tom W. ,,, Do you have Bible verses to back up what you think you know about the so called state of Israel??? could it be you have been led astray by the judeo christian churches??? My opinion does not mean Jack Dung ,,,BUT,,, the words in The King’s Book ARE Law and “Truth”… Praise King Jesus for Salvation and Healing …

      • Tom W.

Charlie, I always back up what the Bible says with the chapter and verse, KJV of course!!!

“A knowledge of things to come should give every believer a burden for people. For the way of escape from these things is the Rapture, and the requirement to qualify for the Rapture is acceptance of the Messiah now. A true student of prophecy will not simply stop with the knowledge of things to come. Rather, this knowledge will create the strong burden to preach the gospel to others and thereby give them a way of escape.”
Dr. Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum, from his book – “The Footsteps of the Messiah”

No One Knows the Exact Hour

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only.” – Matt. 24:36

But We are Commanded to Know the Signs
“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I unto you I say unto all, Watch.” – Mark 13:33-37

“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safty; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all children of the light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others, but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” – I Thess. 5:1-10

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” – II Peter 3:8-12

        The Rapture

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” – Luke 21:36

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethern, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which remain alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall desend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” – I Thess. 13-18

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” – I Cor. 15:51-55

        Signs of the Times
“But as the days of No’e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” – Matt. 24:37

“They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were givien in marriage, until the day that No’e entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he that shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot’s wife.” – Luke 17:27-32

“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” – Gen. 6:11

“Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” – James 5:1-8

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” – Luke 21:28

It’s been reported that in a resent poll, 75% of all Americans identified themselves as Christians. If the rapture were to happen today, I’d be totally in awe if 75% of church members, not to mention the general population of the United States, would be present at that great meeting in the air. (I Thess. 4:16-18) Do You know what the Olivette Prophecies are? Before entering Jerusalem for the last time, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives and told the Deciples for the third time what was going to befall Him. They just weren’t getting it. But He told them not to worry because He would come again. When asked what would be the signs of His return, He gave them these prophecies. (Matt. ch.24, Mark ch.13, and Luke ch.21) Luke ch.17 also touches a little on the End-time Prophecies. Along with many other Old and New Testament prophecies. Study them! Know them! Memorize them! Is your lamp trimmed and burning? (Matt. 25:1-13) Because if you’re not looking up, (Luke 21:28) you surely to God must be blind!!! (II Cor. 4:3&4) Jesus is coming everybody!!! I pray that you’re ready! If you’re not, you may pray a prayer similar to this: “Dear God, I know that You love me. I admit that I’m a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. I place my faith in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.” If you prayed that prayer and meant it with all your heart, know for a certainty that it is impossible for God to lie! (Rom. 10:13) This is what it means to be born-again! (John 3:3) Go find yourself a church, forget about a perfect one, they don’t exist. Surround yourself with Christian friends, they won’t be perfect either, that’s why we need Jesus! Emmerce yourself in Gods’ Word so you’ll know how to fight off ole’ nick. (Eph. 6:13-18) You’re in the Army now, soldier! And now it’s your job to bring as many lost sheep back into the fold as possible. (Matt. 5:14-16) What?! Did you think it was going to be easy? (II Tim. 3:12)

        Be Ready!!!

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” – II Tim. 4:8

“And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” – I John 2:28-3:3

Very insightful. A good follow up to support your thesis would be to recount all the weapons systems that we have built and maintained since the cold war ended that have cost billions and even trillions of dollars and were never used and/or were obsolete before they went into the construction phase. Such systems include the B1 and B2 bombers, and the advanced strike fighter. I would speculate that most Military leaders know that Drones and robotic aircraft can replace most current military aircraft but that is the last thing the military-security complex wants. They want to have imagined future conflicts where all of these systems maned and unnamed will be needed. Oh and we have to keep our thousands of nuclear-tipped missiles ready 24/7-round the clock-and our nuclear armed subs on high alert status 24/7 for a few more decades just in case Russia decides to launch a preemptive strike.

    • Tom Cook

Some of you people have been drinking some very weird koolaid. Muslims aren’t a threat to us? They don’t follow the koran’s commandmnts to enslave or kill us? Russia was never a threat? China is building up its military and we should disarm? Our military might was never necessary to maintain peace. There are very few sheepdogs, and the sheep are loud and fat.

      • DaveH

Muslim fanatics (reportedly) killed between 3 and 4 thousand Americans on 9/11.
Of course there are those that present good evidence that it was yet another False Flag Event. But forget that for argument sake. Since the US has been involved with Iraq and Afghanistan there have been well over 100,000 deaths of Iraqi citizens, and over 30,000 deaths of Afghani citizens.
And our side is the Good Guys? Sorry, Tom, but I just can’t get into the whole rah-rah thing.

      • Tom W.

Think of it like this DaveH, IF, (And that’s an AWFUL BIG if for the unbeliever isn;t it?! LOL!!!) the Bible is correct, and that this is the regathering of His children which has been prophecied in all three religions since their conceptions, said to take place directly preceding the culmination of ALL things, and this is the FIRST time in history that the event prophesied, (The regathering.) is recorded to have taken place, and you’re also seeing the fulfillment of the other signs that Jesus said to watch for in the Olivette prophecies (Matt. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21) especially the one about Jerusalem and the time of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24) you’d BETTER get on the RAH-RAH side!!!

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” – Luke 21:28 (KJV)

RAH-RAH!!! And I even got Blood red pom-poms Dave!

The Bible was written by men. The Koran was written by men. But it amazes me that so many of the people who profess to believe in the Bible as the word of God, but then proceed to ignore the most important Commandment of all — Thou shalt not Kill. It doesn’t qualify that with — but it’s okay if you want to call it War, or a Military Action.
There is only one excuse to kill other human beings and that is in self-defense.

      • Pippen

@ Dave.. “The Bible was written by men. The Koran was written by men. I have to agree with you Dave.. In that recently the Bible has been re-written (or should I say, ‘added to’ which is one of the taboos that seems to be ignored every time the bible is re-written) in that it’s no longer ‘Kill’ But “Murder” (same word, two different aspects) and the Zionists accept that to kill in war or your enemies or the burglar is now ordained by J.C. but it’s a sin to Murder.. Again, same word.. different definitions. Had Christ defined these words maybe we could understand and further, that God made this one of his commandments THEN went around massacring the infidels could indicate that there is a difference.. But why ordain it ‘KILL’..? No, it was written by man in man’s ideal and now it’s written to release us from our responsibility to adhere to the ORIGINAL commandment. To the believers there is that one word to take away their responsibility… UNLESS.. This is the word they seek.. This is the word they apply when all other words of the Bible goes against their desires.

You’re so right! Along with myself, more and more people are waking up and realizing that after all the bible banging, patriotic banter and fear mongering people are just plain tired of war! More and more are realizing (I attribute it to the world wide web of information) that when you do a little digging and follow the money you start to see a pattern. A pattern that point to the same groups who finance both sides of just about every conflict in the name of -insert problem de jour- to keep the world in debt to this fiat system that has been the downfall of man since it’s inception! I’m with you DaveH and I’ll keep doing my part of informing the sheeple that the problems in today’s world are purely manufactured and just about all of mans differences are just an elaborate hoax meant to keep us at each others throat. It’s no coincidence that the world is growing weary of government war agendas while also exploding in the world of instant information. Globalist with their paid for media propagandist can’t put lies and disinformation out fast enough to keep the world in the dark like they used to and it’s really starting to show! THE WORLD IS TIRED OF WARS!

        • whatdoyouknowa

The world is tired of wars,,,, how lovely and fictitious.
Whether you like it or not, there are too many people who would love to see you dead, while you dream of a perfect world.
If not you than your kids will be involved.

Millions of Muslims, want you dead, because you’re an infidel.
Don’t try to rationalize, theorize, hypothesize, etc.

” All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.” – II Tim. 3:16&17 (KJV)

So, are you callin’ God a liar DaveH?! CAREFUL how you answer!!!

“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” – Matt. 15:14 (KJV)

I personally only read the 1611 KJV, because I know that it is the FIRST english translation and although some of the interpetations might be a little clearer, with more accurate translations, I find it rather Shakespearian reading the KJV! As a matter of fact, they say that Shakespeare was one of the original translaters, and if you turn to Psalm 46 and count 46 words in you come to the word shake and then if you count 46 words back from the end, you come to the word spear. Thus ole’ Billy Boy left his signiture in the GOOD BOOK! LOL!!! Although the KJV’s language might be considered a little out-dated by some, at least I feel comfortable that it’s translation is tampered with the least! The latest Wycliffe translation has deleted 90 somethin’ verses that refered to Jesus as the Son of God!!! I was working with a jailhouse ministry in Louisville, KY and was purchasing a study Bible for one of the inmates who didn’t have one. When I told the girl at the counter at the Bible book store that I wanted a KJV study Bible, she looked at me and said rather curtly, “I guess no other version will do?!” To which I responded, “Yeah, seens that I can’t read Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek, I guess it’ll have to do!!!” Many critics over the years claimed that the Bible had been raped by the interpreters but when they found the Dead Sea Scrolls, they discovered a FULL scroll of the book of Isaiah, and upon research discovered it to be with just a few slight variations jot for jot, and tittle for tittle indentical to KJV translation!!! WAKE UP GUYS! What are the odds of ALL these things ALL happening at the same point in history?!! I’d like to hear what the real Jimmy “The Greek” would say about it! I wonder where he’d place his bet?!! I KNOW where I placed mine! Even so, COME LORD JESUS!!!

The Duty of the Military in a Militarized Empire / SAPERE AUDE!

Those who serve in the military are in a difficult position. The oath taken by enlistees states, “I, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” The internal conflict between supporting and defending the Constitution and obeying orders is at the heart of the dilemma of honor and duty. Those who accept that the Presidential chain of command is by nature constitutional; lack a proper understanding of history and professes an even greater ignorance of current affairs.

Ever since Congress abrogated their lawful war power authority to declare war, the military industrial complex has embarked on a path of global empire. The consequences of such un-American internationalist imperialism have turned the country into a hollow shell of a once great nation. NeoCons and their liberal cousin counterparts champion perpetual interventionism and continuous oversea deployment, deny this stark reality.

False flag operations used as incessant excuses to expand the permanent war machine, demean and ultimately will destroy the moral purpose of our country. Propaganda and disinformation used to spread the jingoism fever infects the body politics. Those who remember the disgusting treatment, upon the separation from service, of Viet Nam draftees welcome the positive homage of recent military personnel…

    Welcome to the Asylum

    By Chris Hedges

A paragraph from an essay well worth reading:

The conflation of technological advancement with human progress leads to self-worship. Reason makes possible the calculations, science and technological advances of industrial civilization, but reason does not connect us with the forces of life. A society that loses the capacity for the sacred, that lacks the power of human imagination, that cannot practice empathy, ultimately ensures its own destruction. The Native Americans understood there are powers and forces we can never control and must honor. They knew, as did the ancient Greeks, that hubris is the deadliest curse of the human race. This is a lesson that we will probably have to learn for ourselves at the cost of tremendous suffering.

Thank you for the very enlightening posts! I claim Native Ameriucan heritage and I can tell you, at least in my experience & observation, we have lost the mysterious and the sacred. What matters now is money and finally, in the same breath, POWER. There is a very terrible future bearing down on us and we have it’s seeds in our hands. Some are sewing them as fast as they can….. personal gain at the expense of others, greed, entitlement, force, …. these are a few. There are 2 measures of a society that come to mind quickly. I would say the warnings began, here. He predicts the Communist Chinese mercantilism and colonialism that is destroying the US.

“Mustering half of the earth’s population, and 60 percent of its natural resources these peoples are rapidly consolidating a new force, both moral and material, with which to raise the living standard and erect adaptations of the design of modern progress to their own distinct cultural environments. Whether one adheres to the concept of colonization or not, this is the direction of Asian progress and it may not be stopped. It is a corollary to the shift of the world economic frontiers as the whole epicenter of world affairs rotates back toward the area whence it started.

Through these past 50 years the Chinese people have thus become militarized in their concepts and in their ideals. They now constitute excellent soldiers, with competent staffs and commanders. This has produced a new and dominant power in Asia, which, for its own purposes, is allied with Soviet Russia but which in its own concepts and methods has become aggressively imperialistic, with a lust for expansion and increased power normal to this type of imperialism”.

Meh, the MID is a reflection of the prevailing mindset of humanity: Absolute power, although corrupting, is better than what the rest of you guys have. This is humanity, in the guise of nationalism, poised to commit to either a world-wide suicide or a possible (but unlikely) evolution geared towards mutual survival. No one gets out of this life alive, yet will we decide that a life of liberty is the only life worth living-or that a long life of living in fear is the better alternative?

Keep the military machinery well greased jIC. The politician aim was to keep things so stirred up at the grassroots level and everyday folks fighting among themselves enough that the masses could not look up through the chaos to get an effective idea what the leadership of the country was REALLY doing. I think we’re right behind them. An effective campaign against the solialistic takeover can’t be mounted because we really don’t know the full scope of what’s going on. Take the UN campaign against small arms as an example. The socialcrats have so far been held at bay by only one thing, The Constitution. Now that is becoming just so much fodder in the hands of politicians. I mean both Democrats but Republcans, too. The latter just to a lesser degree. There are a few that recognize the impact of what’s happening but are effectively locked out of real competition. One of those is Ron Paul. Limited government with three EQUAL branches is not what we have today.I think the US government may be the worlds largest employer or at least ranks right up there. Would love to see some numbers if anyone has some.

        I think you’re right, mitakuwe.
And, as I recall, the total number of all Government Employees is around 32 million. But that doesn’t count the employees of sub-contractors working for Government.

Free trade with Red China has been the most insane national policy in the history of the world. US manufacturing dependence on a mass murdering criminal regime is, and always has been, idiocy. We cannot make for our military, what America’s most knowledgeable spy warns us about:

:“I’m about to say something that people think is an exaggeration, but I think
the evidence is pretty strong,” he tells me. “Every major company in the United
States has already been penetrated by China.”

… “The British government actually said [something similar] about their own
    country. ”

Clarke claims, for instance, that the manufacturer of the F-35, our
next-generation fighter bomber, has been penetrated and F-35 details stolen. And
don’t get him started on our supply chain of chips, routers and hardware we
import from Chinese and other foreign suppliers and what may be implanted in
them—“logic bombs,” trapdoors and “Trojan horses,” all ready to be activated on
command so we won’t know what hit us. Or what’s already hitting us.

Richard Clarke’s warnings may sound overly dramatic until you remember that he
was the man, in September of 2001, who tried to get the White House to act on
his warnings that Al Qaeda was preparing a spectacular attack on American soil.

    “Your government failed you.”

Clarke now wants to warn us, urgently, that we are being failed again, being
left defenseless against a cyberattack that could bring down our nation’s entire
electronic infrastructure, including the power grid, banking and
telecommunications, and even our military command system”

Sadly for years our government, the Clintons, and the National Laboratories employment of foreigners have been giving the Chinese the very technology needed to bomb us, that will some day be used in a war against us.

    • Captain America

Agreed. The USA has built China, now we want to call them our “Enemy”. Does that sound a lot like Iraq and Iran to anyone else?!

    • Nancy in Nebraska

I’ve always believed that China was our enemy. When we started trading with them the goods were manufactured by political prisoners and all of the money went to building up their vast military. As trading continued they were able to buy or steal whatever technology they didn’t possess. Ever since our government opened trade with them our money has poured into China. Our money, our jobs, our technology; everything that made our country great was traded away as favors to corporations who wanted more and more. Now we have to beg money from China just to keep our government running. I believe the outcomes were very predictable. I don’t believe that any of this happened by accident. It was intentional! There are forces at work who are intentionally trying to destroy our country. This has been going on for a long time and we are approaching the end game. Our enemies are getting bolder and they’re not just in China. They’ve infiltrated our entire government.

Nancy I agree with your comments America corporate greed with the support of some of our corrupt politicians has sold America to China. It has become detriment to the bottom line to hire American workers. By Joseph Foster, Author, ‘Seeing Red’ How America is losing the future.

James, from what I have read it seems we have been sharing technology with China instead of just providing it! Did I not read that a lot of the guidance system components of our major missiles are supplied by China.Maybe if they are smart enough to make high technology components they are smart enough to know the dangers of a nuclear war! Russia sure was!! Paranoia can make one see threats that exist only in the mind of the person and there is a lot of that going on at this site.

While I agree with a portion of this blog, regarding the MIC, the simple “vilification of The Right” is a worthless overarching point. I mean, who is the President now…a Muslim, Kenyan who is a STAUNCH LIBERAL-PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIST. In case the author has been asleep for the past 4 years, Obama has opened MORE fronts on various wars, none of them declared, none of them in the USA’s vital interest. We allowed the Syrian regime of Assad to kill it’s own people, but somehow felt the need to go into Africa (don’t even get me started), and into Egypt. BOTH SIDES ARE AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA. I don’t buy for a moment that China is not on the move in the Pacific. They have been after the Spratley Islands that the Phillipines claimed for years. Why?, because of the oil, minerals, and fishing found there. They have clashed with Chinese War vessels just recently. They are going all around the Pacific rim buying up or seizing minerals, fishing grounds, and oil. The Phillipines made the big mistake of kicking us out of Subic Bay and Clark. We are fighting WW4 and have been since 1979. The major players are still there, China and Russia, just some of their proxies have changed. Remember in Revelations it talks about a million man army coming from the East to surround Jerusalem.

Obadiah tells you …

  • michaeljbeglinjr

The easiest way for us to hurt the Chinese is simple. Every American can help. Just stop buying the trash they ship over here. Stop buying from Wal Mart, which is China’s retail outlet. If we, as a people, were to stop buying from China, just think of the businesses that could be re-opened here. When Sam Walton was alive, everything in his stores was Made in the U.S.A. His body wasn’t even cold before his children signed the deals with China.

Joe Brooks above has an EXCELLENT point. If I was China, and was sending us microchips to use in our armaments, I would install a “kill switch” in them. I cannot believe that the U.S. government has allowed the safety of our country to be left in the hands of a country that uses slave labor. If China wants to move away from the dollar, so be it. We are merely prolonging the inevitable to allow a few people to get richer.

China would dearly love to get its hands on Australia’s natural resources. That won’t happen as long as we are around. China is by far more of a threat to us than an ally. Dealing with China is like petting a rabid dog, you never know when it’s going to turn on you.

We are facing a MUCH greater threat from islam than most people want to credit. It is their DUTY, from allah and muhammad, to spread islam by whatever means necessary. If you don’t believe that, read a koran. We could have easily defeated Afghanistan years ago if we had the will to do so. As long as that “war” continues, the MID will keep minting money for themselves. We need to elect a President that is not interested in making war, to keep a few people rich. Obama is obviously as much a sell-out as Bush was. After that, the American people should DEMAND term limits for ALL government jobs; from dog-catcher to Senator. When our politicians go from a few years of serving their country, to a lifetime of serving themselves and the lobbyists that own them, then we get into a mess like the one we are in now.

Everyone who buys from China is helping to destroy our own economy, and our country. They send poisoned goods over here, then claim it was accidental. Bull. Islam is more of a threat than China at the moment. Only at the moment.

    • DaveH

Yep, that’s right. Let’s impoverish ourselves and teach those Chinese a lesson, like the numbnut Leaders did to us in the Depression.
For those who would like to learn something about History so that we don’t repeat it:

      • Joe Brooks

That is simply wrong Dave H. The tariffs did not exist until a year after the depression started and many economists now feel that it mitgated the damage. Protectionisn works, period.

I would suggest you move into the real world of International Trade war and think for yourself. This will help you get past your programming:

      • michaeljbeglinjr

Impoverish ourselves by not shopping at Wal Mart? Exactly how much stock do you own in the company? If we stopped buying from China, and other sources and sweatshops from overseas, we could bring back jobs to America. I’m willing to pay a bit more for products made at home that won’t wear out after a few months. I’m also willing to pay more so I will stop funding sweatshops and slave labor.

China honors NO intellectual copyrights or patents, and steals anything it wants to. China considers the whole Pacific theater to be its own personal playground. They bully and threaten all of their neighbors. Why should we keep supporting them?

I think the main reason we keep doing business in China, is that Big Business wants to see a one-world wage average. The Chinese workers are already demanding better pay and shorter hours. When the Chinese get too expensive, the sweatshops will take their business to some other 3rd-world country, and start the cycle all over again.

Continuing to support China financially by buying their goods only helps the business owners. They pay no taxes in America, but get rebates instead. Again, why should we keep supporting China? If the average American citizen wasn’t so dumbed down by our shoddy educational system, most people would think long-term (like the Chinese) instead of thinking of saving fifty cents off of a pair of flip-flops.

Doing business in China is like dealing with the Mafia. Sooner or later it’s going to bite us where it hurts.

      • michaeljbeglinjr

A quote from the link you sent me: “With the
gold standard abandoned, there is no necessity for the Federal
Reserve or its controlled banks to redeem dollars in gold, and so the
Fed may expand the supply of paper and bank dollars to its heart’s
content. The more it does so, the more prices tend to accelerate
upward, dislocating the economy and bringing impoverishment to
those people whose incomes fall behind in the inflationary race.”

All of the banks, especially the Federal Reserve, are building their houses on sand. Tying our economy so tightly with one whose government can manipulate its interest rates at will, within a pre-defined and ridiculous set limit, is ludicrous. The Federal Reserve has played a HUGE part in the decline of our country’s wealth. Trillions of our dollars have gone missing and the Fed says it’s none of business where it went. Fighting a trade war when the deck is stacked against you from the outset is foolish. It’s even more foolish to help your main competitor.

      • DaveH

Actually, Joe, there was a protectionist movement afoot in Congress before the market crash in 1929. Some feel that the crash was a direct result of the budding Protectionism. Investors (the good ones) tend to place their bets on events 6 months or more in the future. Most of the blame of course goes to the Federal Reserve and their money creation, but the Government’s succeeding actions (including Protectionism) precluded any recovery. Remember, Joe, we suffered over ten years of Depression, and it didn’t end until Government greatly reduced their meddling in the Marketplace:
Read the book by Murray Rothbard, Joe, and learn something.
If Protectionism was the way to go, why do you suppose one of the common military actions against enemy countries is to embargo their trade? The Division of Labor that benefits our internal trade applies to trade around the world. In Free Markets (which we haven’t had for a very long time), people do the kind of work they are best suited for, and as they become highly skilled they produce goods and services much more efficiently than the average person. For instance, you wouldn’t want an Investment Professional to do brain surgery on you, and you wouldn’t want a Doctor giving you your investment advice.
When Government stops Free Trade, they are simply favoring one group of people (the Protected) at the expense of the rest of the consumers who must then live with fewer conveniences.

Perhaps you mis understand what I said I am against a protectionist policy. My question is how do you balance trade and reduce our large trade deficit. The US labor due to a period when we enjoyed a monopoly in manufactring has attained the highest standard of living of any labor in the World.

      • DaveH

Joe says — “I would suggest you move into the real world of International Trade war and think for yourself. This will help you get past your programming”.
I have been studying matters of economics for 40 years, Joe. And I don’t sip the Propaganda Kool-Aid offered by the Political Economists, as you obviously do.
The real world is Meddling Leaders and their Crony Capitalists working together to feather their own nests at the rest of our expense. I believe in Free Markets where consumers are the Kings instead of a relative handful of self-serving Politicians and their Political Cronies.
My guess is that you’re Union or some other such special interest which would benefit with Unfree trade at the rest of our expense.

      • Joe Brooks

Dave H, it is my guess you are an agent of a foreign power. I include the multi national one world slave labor corporations, the elites of Red China, India and others in the definition of a foreign power.

You are clearly charged with promoting selling out the US to the Communists. I have proven to you over and over again that 150 other nations practice protectionism thru tariffs, value added taxes, border duties and currency manipulation, averaging 45 to 65% import tariffs, while the US average import tariff is 2.5%.

I have never been in a union but, I have been an American for 58 years and I am doing everything in my power to save the Founders vision, which never included international free trade.

Literally, only an idiot or someone with a hidden agenda could still support US unilateral free trade, due to the 10 trillion dollar trade deficit over the last 20 years alone. The wealth, technology and independence extracted from the USA during this time is traitorous and is leading to the US being colonized. Colonies are not allowed to manufacture the items that lead to independence.

The USA became the most prosperous nation on earth practicing the protectionism, envisioned by Washington in the first Administration of the United States. Only idiocy or a concentrated campaign of free trade propaganda would have ever overturned this:

Joe Brooks, you make some valid presentation. During the British colonial era the British used their colonies to support British manufacturers and employment, all goods that are manufactured in Britain enters the colonies free of tariffs others were Taxed. The present free trade concept adopted by the US is flawed, how could US workers compete with Bangladesh workers that are paid $35.00 per month to manufacture clothing for Americans, western Europeans and other countries. Many of the manufacturers of clothing in Bangladesh are western companies. Did you know that such practice has cost US garment workers the loss of one million jobs. US electronic Industry once employed over one million workers that is now no more. Author, Joseph Foster, ‘Seeing Red’ How America is losing the future. Tate publishing.

      • DaveH

I suspect that you are an Ignorant Liberal, Joe, who thinks Big Government is the solution to our problems when it has been shown consistently that the Bigger the Government, the Smaller the Economy.

Protectionism is a Logical Failure. The more rules there are, the more paperwork there is, and the more expensive officials are needed to enforce the rules. By artificially restricting markets, the existing players get lazier and less efficient, so the products and services become necessarily higher priced, and the poor consumers get screwed so that a few politically positioned companies and workers can have the high paying jobs of their choice.

Protectionism is also an Experiential Failure. If you read this report, you will see that the Bigger Government gets, the Smaller that country’s Economy gets:

You Liberals, Joe, have nothing to back you up but Hopes and Dreams.

Dave my name is Joseph Foster; perhaps your response is directed to me as to protectionist . I do not favor such approach and always support a free market economy.
We now have a situation as to trade that never existed in the past when we enjoyed monopoly in manufacturing, that monopoly is no more, today China is able to manufacture all of the products that was once made in the west at lower price due its low labor cost, the question is how do you create employment for western workers. We should learn from the Germans they do not sell price but quality products manufactured by German workers, Many people around the world including the Chinese are willing to buy high quality product. The US has a large trade deficit with China and other countries, some formula should be found as to how to reduce the trade deficit, perhaps by Industrial allocation.

All I can say is, WOW. This article reminds me of what was said about the beginnings of WWII. It is not our fight no need to get involved. China is a threat to U.S. interests as most of the post here indicate (if you read them slowly) all while saying they are no threat. The Philippines is an allie not a puppet as this article so states, yes they need our assistance as they are a poor nation but not a puppet I can assure you. This utopia world you liberal, marxist, clowns live in will never happen, and I mean never. Do you really believe that the likes of Russia, Inda, China will allow a one world government if they are not the one world government??? All I can say to that is stop smoking the crack pipe as it is dangerous to your health. And if this articles writer would have opened up a histroy book he would have noticed that the U.S. was an isolationist country after WWI and did that prevent us from being attacked (Pearl Harbor)? Well, we all no the answer to that don’t we. This site is being blocked from this point on as it clearly shows its ignorance to facts and truth but would rather be a anti-military propagandist media outlet.

I could not agree with you more. Some people still think islam is a religion of peace. Some people will believe anything they are told. It’s pathetic.

It is a shame how many people do not know the difference between a puppet state and an ally. Too many people that should know better are living in the past.

China is most definitely a threat to us. The thing is, they are willing to implement plans that take generations to come into fruition. Americans want results NOW. If we don’t smarten up, who do you think has the best strategy?

America is at a point where we need to start taking care of ourselves before others. We have things that must be done soon, or we will end up like Russia. I would hate to see America broken up into 3 or 4 smaller countries due to our leaders corruption, greed, amd incompetence. Of course, the real culprit is a voting citizenry that few participate in. If everyone voted, and held our representatives to account, this would be a far better country.

Larry says, “All I can say is, WOW. This article reminds me of what was said about the beginnings of WWII. It is not our fight no need to get involved.”

Larry says, “And if this articles writer would have opened up a histroy book he would have noticed that the U.S. was an isolationist country after WWI and did that prevent us from being attacked (Pearl Harbor)?”

Interestingly, that was the last justified war America engaged in, and had a declaration of war from Congress. It was not our fight until they attacked us, and what did we do? We took care of business. Preemptive war is never justified, so you can stop using this bit of history to attempt such justification of preemptive military actions across the globe. I don’t know what are worse, progressive liberals or neoconservative puppets like you.

Larry says, “China is a threat to U.S. interests as most of the post here indicate (if you read them slowly) all while saying they are no threat.”

China is not a threat to us.

Larry says, “Do you really believe that the likes of Russia, Inda, China will allow a one world government if they are not the one world government???”

Nope, and that is why China, Russia, and India are only threats to those progressives and neoconservatives who want a world order…. As long as it is their world order of course.

Larry says, “This site is being blocked from this point on as it clearly shows its ignorance to facts and truth but would rather be a anti-military propagandist media outlet.”

Yeah, because being anti-military is so wrong.

  • D LBo

Give me a break! You think there is no national interests tied to that area? China is a threat to us and has repeatedly demonstrated their unwillingness to work with us unless it benefits them.

As to our national interests, having something close should something happen would be prudent. China has already demonstrated aggression and dropped hints that they are not afraid of the US and are willing to take us on.

A chinese nuclear sub avoided radar and just happened to surface past all the warships and come up to a carrier.

“Oops. I’m sorry, I mean, I didn’t know you were there.” Come on! I’m glad Washington doing something to protect our national interests!

Big bad John, or is it Big dumb John, Islam does not conquer by military force. It conquers by numbers. It then uses its numbers for leveraging government and installing Shiriah law which is already in use in the US , because of fear of a muslim uprising.

Islam is not a religion,it is a vicious cult, using religion as a mask. It is however, a complete system.
Islam has a fake religious component, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’
When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to ‘the reasonable’ Muslim demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).
As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

    United States — Muslim 1.0%
    Australia — Muslim 1.5%
    Canada — Muslim 1.9%
    China — Muslim 1%-2%
    Italy — Muslim 1.5%
    Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:

    Denmark — Muslim 2%
    Germany — Muslim 3.7%
    United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
    Spain — Muslim 4%
    Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.
They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. ( United States ).

    France — Muslim 8%
    Philippines — Muslim 5%
    Sweden — Muslim 5%
    Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
    The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
    Trinidad &Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions ( Paris –car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats ( Amsterdam – Mohammed cartoons).

    Guyana — Muslim 10%
    India — Muslim 13.4%
    Israel — Muslim 16%
    Kenya — Muslim 10%
    Russia — Muslim 10-15%

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
    Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:

    Bosnia — Muslim 40%
    Chad — Muslim 53.1%
    Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:

    Albania — Muslim 70%
    Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%
    Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
    Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:

    Bangladesh — Muslim 83%
    Egypt — Muslim 90%
    Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
    Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
    Iran — Muslim 98%
    Iraq — Muslim 97%
    Jordan — Muslim 92%
    Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
    Pakistan — Muslim 97%
    Palestine — Muslim 99%
    Syria — Muslim 90%
    Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
    Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace — there’s (supposed) to be peace because everybody is a Muslim: we know however that this isnt true is it…?

    Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
    Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
    Somalia — Muslim 100%
    Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons…and they are coming to a neighborhood near you…so keep thinking they are not going to harm you and they “accept” you

    • michaeljbeglinjr

There are no recognized shari’a courts in the U.S. If muslims are going to them on their own, privately and secretly, then that is their stupidity. The U.S. government will never tolerate shari’a courts in America. It barely tolerates its own.

    In jungles or in deserts.
These police actions are training excersises, and nothing more.
To attach a significance to them other than that is the real hubris.
Yes there is a threat to worldly security in many places.
No we cant deal with them all simultaneously.
So we chip away, one small backwater nation at a time.
Tactics used by military advisers for eons, are being deployed today.
    Much ado about nothing.
In ancient times it would cost the empires hundreds of thousands of lives.
    Today it is much cheaper.
It is merely(though I attach importance to my fellow countrymen, whether the joint chiefs do or not)several thousand who must give their lives in preparation nowdays.
Personally I do not see the merit of sacrificing young Americans to the gods of war.
Apparently many of you share that sentiment with me.
But for what it is worth, talking diplomatically with political correctness thrown in,about the nature of the conflicts we take part in,is like expecting intelligent and coherent thought to come for our lawmakers. It makes for interesting conversation but nothing is likely to happen as a result.
It is another thing which draws our attentions away from the actual condition.
We are turning our backs on the God who gave us our rights, through His divine providence.
You can line up press agents, political pundits, experts and reasearchers from all over the globe to counterdict what I say,yet all you will receive for your asking is worthless rhetoric.
They will point to this and that and call what they point at problems and issues.
But the condition remains the same.
It is simple beyond understanding.Yet somehow it escapes them.
Have you asked God to help you out of this mess we’re in today?
Or did you just take umbrage to the fact that military folks often play wargames using real people as crash test dummies?
That kind of thing has been going on since civilization began. Its not likely to stop because you talk about it.
    But what do I know?
    Apparently very little……

Come on Cawmun, after the first week or so of the war with Iraq when all of their tanks had been destroyed or parked, the Iraqis were less than “a modern military” Their most destructive weapon was a 1980s artillary shell buried in the sand! How modern was that? The chinese were using something similar in the 1500s with gunpowder> What made the Iraqis “dangerous” was bush chose to continue to fight them door to door AFTER he knew the the “reasons” given for the war did not exist! When asked at the time if he was going to withdraw the troops his reply was “WE CAN’T” Like H*ll he couldn’t withdraw them!! He was the only person who could and did send them in and he was the only person who could bring them out and he didn’t! That’s why he known as “THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF” EVEN IF HE WAS NEVER A VERY GOOD ONE!!

      • michaeljbeglinjr

Congress could have stepped up and withdrew the troops. Congress could have refused to let the troops stay. It did not. Bush is far from the only person to blame for our Middle East fiascoes. Congress is the only group with the authority to declare war. Very few Congressmen and women are willing to use their authority. At the rate we are going, Congress will be relegated to doing nothing at all. Congress is getting in the habit of letting the sitting President (especially Obama) treat them like lap dogs. It is a habit this country desperately needs them to break.

you did not tell them how to communicate with this God /god you write of…

      • cawmun cents

If you are speaking of prayer through Christ, and in His name, then charlie I would submit to you that most here are quite aware of that as a form of communication with God,whether they choose to acknowledge Christ or not.

When I had my TV Show “We the People” Paul Craig Roberts was one of my guest. He is a man with great insight and the courage to speak the truth. There is one thing he hasn’t mentioned and that’s the Zionist war starting in Iran. Netanyahu is die hard Zionist a trait he picked up from his father. Members of the Israeli government disagree with him and are afraid what he might do. A Zionist believes in the after life and feels he is impregnable.

If Israel attacks Iran that will be the start of WW111. Iran has a defense pact with Russia and Russia will step in. Everyone knows the hold the Zionist have on America through such organizations as AIPAC. They were instumental in getting us involved in Iraq and other situations that would help the Zionist plan to takeover the West Bank, (Samaria and Judea). People must know the Zionist movement started by Theodor Herzl does not consist of only Jews. Bush, Blair, Pastor Hagee, Senator Lindsey Graham and others are caught in it as well. The scenario that Mr. Roberts laid out is very real but so is the Zionists goal. I should mention China is very invovled with Iran as well and may well step in to that situation as well. Couple these with our election situation and thinking people must realize the American people need a great awakening. As a Christian I’d call it great repentance, like General Washingtion called for in his war the Red Coats.

You are right. The land known as Israel doesn’t belong to the Jews, there is no historical evidence supports that claim. The Arabs were driven off their land to starve. The Soviet Union,Great Britian and the United States were the Zionist Jews biggest supporters.

      • michaeljbeglinjr

It does belong to the Jews. If it does not, then none of the countries established by the U.N. after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire are legitimate. Israel was established by the U.N. 99% of the land given them was then given to the Arabs to appease them. The Jews need somewhere to live. Why not where their holiest city is? Can you think of another place to have them move to? No country on Earth is going to give the Jews land. I am in favor for Israel staying right where it is. It is a democracy in the middle of a bunch of religious zealots that rule by fear and torture, and a thumb in the eye to islam. If anything, we need Israel there to keep the muslims off-balance. I am all for anything that gives islam a hard time. All of the Arabs that stayed in Israel have equal rights within Jewish law. If their muslim neighbors actually cared about its coreligionists, there would not be one single “refugee” in the Middle East. The other muslim countries want the Palestinians to stay refugees as a club to use against Israel. After what happened to the Jews during WWII, I would want a country of my own, too.

      • coal miner

Wrong,That is only Bible myths.that said it belongs to the Jews. The modern day Jews are actually Khazarian descendants from the tenth century southern Russia. They have no rightful claim to land they occupied, known as the promise land. The Bible itself is a hoax and a cruel fraud perpetrated on the gentile race. It was borrowed from other myths and has no historiical validity.Check it out.

The book of Obadiah tells you what is going to happen to the so called state of Israel…

      • charlie

the people in the state of Israel today,,, who are they ??? the lineage of Jacob Israel ??? or the lineage Esau Edom???

Sooner than you think the PRC is going to want to test the new toys they have built. acquired and stolen and I kind of see them picking a fight with either Taiwan, Vietnam or the Phillipines over fishing rights in the Yellow Sea or the Pacific. We,the US seems to have it’s big head up it’s rectumand acts constipated over foreign policy and if that is not a invitation for a growing military with grudges to step over the line, then the world is still flat.

Nothing would be better forthe Commies to test us and make the world see us as second rate and the vital parts are all there, jst the oportunity awaits and I am sure this Uncredentialed clown in the WH will give them the chance…..

    • charlie

ONTIME,,, Obama is going to bring on Obadiah … You tell us what time , ONTIME…

  • michaeljbeglinjr

I don’t think China is ready to take us on yet. We have a lot of advanced weaponry that the public is unaware of. Historically, the U.S. military has always been 40-50 years ahead of their civilian counterparts. If the Chinese and American governments were foolish enough to start a war, I think the Chinese would be in for a surprise.

  • Irina Krasnyuk

Pear gal? Jong the military. That will save you out fits.

  • Allan Denial

In his 1956 book, The Power Elite, C. Wright Mills, a professor of sociology at Columbia, dubbed this perspective “military metaphysics,” which he characterized as “the cast of mind that defines international reality as basically military.” Those embracing this mind-set no longer considered genuine, lasting peace to be plausible. Rather, peace was at best a transitory condition, “a prelude to war or an interlude between wars.”

  • Mike

It’s been done before. The Greeks attacked Persia (before Thermopyle), Germany took on the whole world, Japan attacked the US…. Pretty long list. But, I suppose leaders with visions of grandeur are not just a modern day phenomena. It’s getting harder to find blind followers these days, though. Because of sites just like this one :)!

  • Chris Phillips

About 5 trillion dollars. That is how much Israel has cost the American taxpayers in direct and indirect costs. If you tabulate the costs of the oil embargo in the mid 70, (a result of our support for Israel in the Yom Kippur War), lost business opportunities with Iran and other Muslim states, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — the biggest architects of the Iraq war were Jews such as Wolfowicz, Perle and Feith because they thought taking over Iraq was good for Israel: Osama Bin Laden attacked us primarily because of the Palestinian issue — and security costs, the total price is at least 5 trillion. All this spent on a racist, land-stealing, nuclear bomb possessing, UN defying, treacherous rogue state whose people still reject the Messiah, and their behaviour shows it.

    • charlie

So,,, just who is the state of Israel ??? could it be one of the United states ???

  • boyscout

Same old old same since Ike built it up (it was actually there long before). Their “influence” in our government is as pervasive as their affluence is diabolical. The longer we are in conflicts the more palatable the propaganda becomes and the more stable the stream of profit to the MIC. And the closer our senators and representative align themselves with these gravy sucking pigs, the more obligated and indebted they become.

Short of a Bolschevic style of house cleaning I see no way to extract the wheat from the chaff, and I do not believe America is in any way capable of such scum cleansing anyway. Hell, we won’t even jail the bankers who embezzled our economy let alone put an end to them. But then, some really bad things happened to many of the elite during the great depression, so I am guessing that those who remember will try and not let that recur. But again, who the hell knows the depth of their greed?

  • truesoy

…and to think that China is what it is today thanks to President Nixon. He is the one that opened the ‘floodgates’ to China. Would it then be a logical assumption to think that we, the U.S., could have purposely built China to be what it is today, and thus enhancing the present and future earnings of the ‘military-industrial’ complex? Could I read into your article such an implication of facts?
Is it possible to forsee so far into the future?.

    • charlie

the small “g” god was leading Nixon so he could see as far down the road as needed for the small g god plans,,, the up coming Big “G” God plans will checkmate the small g god plans… Obama is here and Obadiah is coming…

Please do not blame Nixon, It was Bush senior that signed on to the trade polcy that began to export Amercian jobs to China.

  • whatdoyouknowa

I miss the good old days, when it was US vs Them.
Things were kept here in the US, like jobs, etc.

When the Soviet Union fell apart, the good ole American executives got the Green light to pursue their new program of the pursuit of Slave labor throughout the globe, (globalization), or as we use to refer to it as “EXPLOITATION”.

Hopefully, the line in the sand will return soon, or some of the people here in the US will continue to demonstrate, and things will evolve, and ones again Louie the XVII will lose his head (Again).

Did you know western companies are employing Bangladesh workers for $35.00 per month with no fringe benefits, It is more cost effective than owning a slave. By Joseph Foster

Why in the same hell can’t the United States simply stay out of another countries business. It seems the United States Government has nothing more to do then to stick there noses up the crack of another countries Ass which always leads to more problems for the American people who can care less about sticking there nose where it does not belong. As long as they are not involving this country why should we care we have enough to worry about in our own country let alone try and put our nose in the middle of something that is non of our business. I am sure these other countries have gotten along by there self for centries without the aid of our country. If Obama enjoyes sticking his nose up someone elses Ass then he should have not run for presedant he should have became a certified ass wiper for some retirment home.

  • madmemere

Paul Roberts writes very clearly about an ages old question and he seems to feel that China is NOT actually a “threat” to US; be that as it may, Paul, can you explain (to all of US) “why” China has spent the last two decades and ALL of it’s capital, “building UP it’s own military forces”!

    • DocBobalus

Terrific starting article, provoked many well constructed replies, Just a reply for madmemere.

Not ALL of China’s Capital has been spent on Military expenses.

There will be no necessity for an open war with China. They own the world already – there is no country in the world capable of confrontation.
While the rest of the world has been manipulated into living on debt – China has been buying with cash. Our peers have sold out !

      Capital expenditure?
Much was used to buy international debt to bring many governments under their control (already).
America owes far too much to say anything. And the default will be the sign of the end of the dollar
Europe waits for China to buy their sovereign debt because they need the capital.

Much has been spent on encouraging the ex patriation of its own citizens to become citizens, in other countries? Nearly all the electronics, clothing, hi-tech/low-trech sellers in europe are chinese.
African Shopping is done in chinese owned shops. Look around your downtowns and spot the wholesalers. They are the providers for many businesses.

Much has been “invested” inbuying properties at personal and corporate level around the world.

Much has been spent on purchasing mines or mining rights or shares in mining companies.

They own nearly all the production, nearly all the resources, access to all the worlds technology, When we sell in China, we always are forced to accept the “Technology transfer” clause (We buy – you show us how to make it for the future!).

The only reason for them to have military force is for a policing and protection.
But isn’t that the excuse Britain used during its empire days?
Isn’t that the excuse that America has used since the end of WW II?

DocBobalus I agree with most of your comments, we as westerners sometimes fail to understand other cultures. The era of the US being the policeman of the world is coming to an end, we are now almost broke financially, and we are neglecting our own people needs and devoting resources to other countries. Perhaps we should mind our own business and begin to take care of America and its people. By Joseph Foster

    Read the Standard Works.

China’s economic success did niot begin only thirty years ago nor with Nixon’s “historic” visit to China 40 years ago but with the Chinese Revolution of 1949 which put in place its’ economic planning that it has followed ever since.
