Blow Up Your TV: MSNBC Transparent In Its Propagandizing

Television news media is designed to sway public opinion via punditry and good old-fashioned yellow journalism, a fact that no one paying attention could likely deny at this point. But nowhere has the lengths to which mainstream media will go to push a political agenda been more embarrassingly evident than it has over at MSNBC, where selective video editing is modus operandi for producing “news” content.

Last week, Vice President Joe Biden gave a speech on the tragedy that unraveled in Benghazi, Libya, in September (a tragedy that has been largely blamed on White House mismanagement) as a plaque was dedicated to the victims of the terror attack.

At one point, speaking about the untimely deaths of American servicemen and diplomatic employees at Benghazi, Biden said: “No child should predecease their parents and no one should have to suffer the loss of their spouse; it’s not easy.”

Here is an unedited video of a portion of the speech:

By the time MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts used the Biden footage, it had been cut and pasted and turned into a clip of Biden talking about “children as the victims of gun violence.”

National Review Online pointed out the sickening journalistic abuse and dishonesty, eliciting a forced apology during a later segment from MSNBC host Touré, who blamed it on “a producer error.”

Of course, even a casual observer is forced to point out the convenience of that producer error over at the “lean forward” network: The Vice President was discussing a tragedy that even Democratic lawmakers are criticizing the Presidential Administration for, and the network used his remarks in a way meant to help further a Democratic agenda.

This also isn’t the news outlet’s first politically convenient “producer error,” as it:

Breitbart News spent months pointing out each instance MSNBC used selective edits to further its liberal agenda, and seemingly won the battle against the propagandist media giant with the ouster of former NBC News President Steve Capus in February. Capus had been the helm at NBC when most of the selective editing stories ran. But, it seems, the propaganda continues.

Hmm? Well my TV only viewed DVD’s and it’s been that way for about two years now. ~ I something think maybe I miss watching television until I’m out somewhere and forced too.

Are far as any Pundits and the Benghazi incident and who might be to blame. ~ I think back on the Beirut Bombing of 1983 that kill 241 servicemembers, including 220 Marines — the Corps’ bloodiest day since Iwo Jima.

I do not remember any “pundits” attempting to lay the blame on the Oval office for a criminal act of others half way around the globe. So something has changed with both OUR TV’s and our Pundits” and this explains ~ why the SOB is off the air in my personal home.

Over fed American’s in their absence of having anything better to do but to “watch other people work” have turned into “armchair” lawyers, judges, and politicians making Politics a “Spectator Sport” much like American Football. This has less to do with being right or wrong or good or bad ~ and more to do with their personal favorite being seen as “Winning” with a national media outlet stirring the pot of contempt and discourse to keep the brain dead on the edge of their seats ~ acting starve for the next “sound bite”.

Well said my friend, but I don’t think the “armchair” politicians, etc. are the first link in our down spiral. I think that award should go to the national media, who do stir the pot of contempt and discourse as you say, but worse than that, they are reporting news with commentary (their own side). Also, not reporting the news is just as bad. You said pundits did not lay blame on oval office at time of Beirut Bombing — could it be that there was no blame to lay there? The pundits did lay blame at the oval office for “Watergate”. So, Benghazi is a very important event in America today and in history, because we have a national news media that has not reported facts about what happened, and it appears that there is a cover up in the oval office as to what happened. That is very important, because it seems that politics have overridden the “lives” of Americans and the sovereignty of our Consulate, and where our national news media is complicit by non-reporting and under-reporting and doing so in a “commentary” fashion.

I disconnected the cable and satellite services in 2001 due to the obvious social engineering and colossal waste of time TV is. My wife insisted on TV after we married several years ago — I tried never to watched it – she did. With much turmoil I eventually weaned her off TV with other activity to the point where she let me cut off the cable again.

She can see how people parrot news shows to the word, how the words are concocted to funnel thought patterns and how they outright lie in the news. She now notices how many gays/gay shows dominate programming and understands its social programming. This realization didn’t happen overnight, and she still cant believe she didn’t realize it sooner.

One of the best things anyone can do for a better life is turn off the BOOB TUBE, and get into life.

You still need a news fix, listen to talk radio, you can still do things while listening–suggest Hagmanns and Hagmann Report (internet), M. Savage, Hawk on Survive2thrive.net and a few others depending on your tastes also 100% music on satellite radio

I agree with you. I have been thinking about disconnecting cable and at the same time saving money. I do not like the social engineering that is part of many shows and channels. I say we should have the right to pick our programs individually from cable companies. When cable was first advertised, we were told that there would be no commercials, etc. etc. Well, that didn’t happen and we lost a great amount of ability to influence advertisers with direct letters from the buying public. If we still had that power, you would not find pornography, homosexuality, murders, and “the bad guy” winning shows filling as much of our TV screens nightly; and, I don’t think there would be as much lying by established media. The media has done a great disservice to society today. Where they should be neutral, they are not. Where they influence many, they do. Where they are the fourth arm of government, I don’t know. Where they are the fourth arm of society, they should be ashamed.

And don’t forget MSNBC also said already that Hillary Clinton is going to be the next president(commenting on how old she will be when she enters the white house as the first female preident)and they went on for about 30 sec about what she may do and it will be great, then the lady reporter looks at the camera and corrects herself and says thats if hillary even says she will run for the 2016 elections!so in their minds she is already the next president!
CNN made the same statement a while back saying Hillary already threw her hat in the ring and when she resides at the white house, then stopped and corrected themselves in the same manner!!
do they know something we don’t??!!considering obamas lies and soon to be impeachment,im assuming all the voter fraud thats being left out of the news, maybe connected?or the fake SS# and BC obama uses!??!oh..thats right…were in media blackout about all that!bengazi was too!!…give it time,it will all come out in the wash!!

Remember, we can do something. We can vote! We need to vote out the current congress, and put people in who take the oath of office to our Constitution, and mean it. Mostly, we need to pay attention and not let the pundits and news media muddy up our thoughts. We need to remember our Constitution, know it, and vote accordingly and any politician who doesn’t should be voted out. Do you know, and I hope you’ve noticed, there are a number of politicians who seem to think it is “their” beliefs that need to be voted rather than their constituency. This is very important, because the majority vote them to office to vote for us as a whole. Today, we have politicians, judges, etc. who should be impeached for not following their oath to the Constitution! We have Justice Ginsburg who says she doesn’t vote the U.S. Constitution, she votes mainly by the South African Constitution because it contains much more social justice! Basically, her words! What a disgrace! We have Justice Soto Mayor who before confirmation said she is an “activist” judge and then giggled and said she believes most judges are activist (meaning not following the law, but making law — not her job)! The one justice should be impeached and the other should never have been confirmed! Our congress needs to be cleaned up! We definitely need “term limits” – the same as the presidency for all. No more than two consecutive terms.

Want to do something for us that I have not been able to do myself? Find an address, email address, or even a phone number of someone in charge at MSNBC and publish it. I would LOVE to give them my thoughts on how un-American their behavior is. Their habit of trying to sway and dictate the publics opinion by selling mistruths and outright lies as fact shows they have absolutely NO ethics. Many people go there thinking they are hearing the news and facts of the day, but instead are being fed a constant line of propaganda only outdone by the regime in North Korea. This is not healthy for our nation and should be brought to a halt immediately. In fact, I think the organization should be brought up on charges of treason. I am sure I am not alone in saying that I have had to stop watching MSNBC and hope that their extremely low ratings causes an exodus of advertising money. Maybe when the money stops flowing ( since money is the only thing they value more than their ideology) the owners will realize that the American public is smarter than they thought and stop trying to fool the viewing public and provide an accurate view of news and politics. Until then, MSNBC’s lack of journalistic credibility has lead me to put them on the NO-WATCH list!

Fox and MSNBC are an afront to journalism. News is a service, not a “business”. When News became a business, then we get CNN. And what a sad excuse for a channel that is.
Now Fox and MSNBC cut and crop the news to fit their respective bias and they are unapologetic for being complete tools for the GOP and Democratic parties.
That is why you watch each along with many other sources both domestic and international to get a better more even picture.

I receive NO network programming. I rather PAY to see something I value.
