Biden Collects $2,200 A Month In Rent From Secret Service

It has recently been revealed that Vice President Joe Biden does not just depend upon the Secret Service to protect him and his family — he is also the agency’s landlord.

“Since April, Mr. Biden has collected more than $13,000 from the agency charged with protecting him and his family for use of a rental cottage adjacent to the waterfront home he owns in a Wilmington, Del., suburb,” read an article for The Washington Times.

“Edwin M. Donovan, special agent in charge at the Secret Service’s Office of Government and Public Affairs in Washington, said the agency pays $2,200 in rent per-month, the same amount a previous tenant had paid before moving out.”

According to the article, the Secret Service believes that occupying the cottage affords a “level of security for the Biden family the agency might not have had otherwise.”

“He should be afforded every single protection available to him and his family, as should every vice president and president,” said Leslie Paige, spokeswoman for the Washington-based Citizens Against Government Waste, in an interview with the newspaper. “You’d think the vice president, who shepherded the deficit committee, would think twice about charging the Secret Service rent. Why would he need the money? I don’t get it.”

According to the article, Biden’s mother lived in the cottage until her death in January 2010. On the contract, Biden is not listed as the Vice President, but reportedly as “vendor” — technically making him a Federal contractor.

    This would shock who again?

    • lkar

      Shared sacrifice!!!

    • wandamurline

The tax payer gets screwed again and again. First, we are paying the salary of this imbicile and we are paying the secret service to protect him, so Biden is now charging us to house the secret service. How about this? How about we don’t house the secret service, how about he protects himself without our help. A much better scenario.

        GREAT IDEA!!!

The jack-asses we have in office now are nothing more than welfare whores. They want hard working people to pay for sorry folks who don`t want to work, and in return Bidin and Obama expect their welfare money too. I have never seen such low class people in my life.

Amazing. I would think that would be illegal.

    • eddie47d

If that is their (Secret Service) primary home and Biden is offering a place to live then so what if he is charging rent. Any good capitalist would do the same. The article didn’t say (the usual “shocker” of leaving important information out)whether these agents were getting a stipend from the government to cover their rent. We all have to live somewhere so unless someone is double dipping then it is a non issue.

      • slapjack

eddie, what terrorist organization in their right mind would want anything to do with Biden??? I seriously think this asnine ingrate should foot the bill for the onsight protection. It would take my Sherriff dept 15 minutes to get to me and I pay for this with my taxes. I personnally rely on Smith and Wesson, Glock, and 20 guage. All you Liberals expect the GOVERMENT to kiss your asses 24/7/365 forever. Time for everyone to get off the Government titt. Even Joe Schmoe Ben Biden

        • Bob

I totally agree that Mr Biden should be thrown out of office and let him handle his own security. He gets a darn good salary and now he needs to get rent from the Secret Service, I think it is a crying shame as there so many people out there that need jobs and money to pay their bills. And this co called politician who is supposely working for us is being Over paid. He should pay us for allowing him to hold his position. I Love this Country But I sure HATE this Government we now have in office. We need to get all the Republicans and Demopcratics out of office….

      • Terry

I am a landlord and we need to be licensed, inspected and held to building codes in order to rent our units (apartments as well as individual homes). I wonder if he is licensed and if he shows the rental income on his taxes. If it his individual residence I hope that he is not trying to get write offs and maintenance expenses.

Kid he charge his mother?Aren’t the Clinton’s paid nearly $20,000 per month rent by the Secret Service for the “privilege” of protecting them in Chappaqua? It’s time to end welfare payments to the ruling elite.I’m sure you will put a spin on this one too!

      • Lipstick

But this man and his party hates capitalists. If they can protect him he can afford to let them stay there for free or maybe half price. Actually he is so nutty I cannot see any sane terrorist wanting this man for anything. He would be an expendable person. We cannot deal with terrorists. That is against the law. Let him fend for himself.

    • Karolyn

      Why?

      • Push comes to Shove

Mt question is for any P or VP, where does the SS stay when they are protecting them? I wonder if GW Bush collected rent everytime they went to his Ranch? That is a rhetorical question BTW because we know if he did he would have been vilified and labeled a crony capitalist pig by the left wing media and pundits? I bet they stayed at his ranch free of charge and i bet Clinton never charged them either. Biden is just like the people he porports to help, a pig chowing at the gov’t trough.

        • Michael

Actually the Clintons required the Secret Service to build a separate building on their property and then charged them rent equivalent to their monthly payments from the purchase of the mansion. Not only were the taxpayers paying for their protection, we were buying their private estate for them.

Oh, this is definitely an impeachable event. Plus he helped established a totalitarian dictatorship that has stripped us of all our rights and killed all the old people in America (there are no more left after Obama’s death panels. The health police lined up and shot all the old people in my state). We have no more legislature, no more elections, no free press, no free blogs….wait why is this one still up and runnnig. Oh well, don’t worry Obama and Biden will shut this down any minute now. And then they will round us all up and execute us. It’s all part of their plan. And since we are all doomed, anyway, who cares about this Secret Service rent to the VP. I have to go and buy more canned goods.

    • Michael J.

      mark,
No,No,No, once again you’ve taken the story out of context. The author is trying to relay the fact that prior to the Secret Services arrival, Joe’s mother was in charge of security and he charged her $2,200.00 a month for rent plus utilities.

  • 101stRECON68

  • s c

It’s immoral, TIME and Debbie. It’s not illegal. Of course, since Motormouth Joe is RICH, and has lost touch with reality, it does seem a bit odd. Then again, as with the characters in Orwell’s 1984 ‘some folks is just better than others.’
Joe, Joe, Joe. Some people are blessed with common sense, and some are content being born with both feet in the their mouth. Under other circumstances, you and your ‘boss’ would be like Laurel and Hardy or Abbot and Costello. Sadly, you two are anything but funny.
The Secret Service has my sympathy. They’re charged with protecting #1 and #2. The thing is, Joe, you’re RICH. You can afford to take it out of your vast wealth. In so many things, you just don’t get it. Does this make you a closet capitalist?
What the #^*@, Joe. You’re already collecting rent. Why not charge them for the food they eat. Make up reasons why the rent needs to go up. Are you SURE you’re not a closet capitalist? How can you call yourself one of the ‘elite’ when you’re acting like someone you’re supposed to HATE?

    • Jay

sc, way to tease-out the hypocrisy of Ob’s administration! They are, in fact, closet capitalists, in garter-belts and stockings!

I think that would be listed under shovel ready jobs.I seriously doubt he pays taxes and we all payed for them to guard his sorry azz so we payed for them to stay there. And my guess his mother paid for room and board sense she wasn’t aloud to stay in the main house.

      • Ret

I’m sure it’s a write-off. Love the part that his mother lived there and he charged her the same amount of rent???? Reminds me of Rose Kennedy charging her staff if they drank a cup of coffee. It just gets patheticer and patheticer (my new word).

    • Michael J.

      sc,
It’s just Liberal Staus Quo, spend our money like drunken sailors, yet when it comes to spending their own money, it goes through their hands like glue. Joe’s probably still got the first dollar he ever cheated someone out of.

This man is an undisputed leader and icon. A person all Americans can really look up to. Not only is he screwing the government royally but his generosity knows no bounds. It’s my understanding that he contributes a whopping 1/10 of 1% of his income to charity. That’s one dollar out of a thousand, folks. Yessir, a real American role model.

    • lkar

A tightwad with his money, but a progressive (read spendaholic) with other peoples money.

They all should be arrested on charges for treason against the U.S. constitution and the people that live by it! They all belong behind bars for what they are doing to our nation and other nations around the world!

  • betty

Hmmmm……is this called “double dipping” in some businesses? I’m just asking.

  • Jay

Joe Biden opened his mouth the other day and something foolish came out. From the Associated Press:

Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans. . . .

“We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people,” Biden said in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: “It’s time to be patriotic . . . time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.”

Since Biden is resting his case on patriotism rather than economic principles, let’s analyze his statement in those terms.

If paying high taxes is patriotic, then Biden and Barack Obama, in putting forward a plan they claim will result in lower taxes for 95% of Americans, seem to be trying to undermine American patriotism.

In order to avoid this problem, the AP infers that Biden has a double standard in which paying higher taxes is patriotic only for “wealthier” Americans. But it seems odd to say that patriotism demands something of one class of people, while making no such demand on everyone else.

What is more, Obama and Biden are not proposing higher taxes in order to serve some common purpose such as national defense. Rather, what they want, as Biden makes clear, is outright redistribution: take money from a minority and give it to “middle-class people.” As Forbes’s Susan Lee says, many of the Obama-Biden “tax cuts” are actually credits, often “refundable” credits, which is to say, subsidies.

The Obama-Biden tax plan consists in asking a select group of Americans to sacrifice while effectively telling everyone else to go shopping.

Where have we heard this before? And can we really afford four more years of the same?

    • Ret

I think it’s a great idea. Lets start with him. He can show the way by starting with giving the rental income back to the government.

      • eddie47d

How many of you will be giving back any money you make from renting out to someone? You tout Capitalism then condemn someone who practices it. Then again most folks who rent their apartments or homes gouge the heck out of other peoples money. Alot of slick capitalists have gotten rich doing just that.

        • Jeep

eddie, you are probably correct in that what biden is doing is not illegal. It does, however, smack of being immoral. That being said, there are many other perks that govt officials receive that need scrutiny. Everything from the number of congressional and white house staffers to booze and czars and cars. Govt spends a lot of money on perks.

        • ProudChristianAmerican

eddie, i believe in capitolism, however, when it comes to the likes of Boden and the rest of the mrxist, I think we can and should expect them to be held to the standard that they want to hold successful folks like myself. If they want to take my money and give it away, I think we have every right to expect them to give up their money first. Whenever we make such a demand, folks like you eddie come out and talk smack. I just wish that the left would hold themselves to the same standard that they are trying to hold me.

          • eddie47d

Basically what you are saying is that the Secret Service should stay at Motel 6 and bill it to the taxpayer. Plus travel expenses to the Biden residence.Either way it involves the taxpayer. Whether we pay Biden or Motel 6. It could be that Biden is a craftier capitalist than you are and you don’t like liberals making money. That seems to be part of the issue here.Let’s also make it clear that Cheney still receives Secret Service protection until January 2019 so let’s look into that arrangement while we are at it.

        • lkar

eddie47 I understand that this is legal (assuming no double dip scam) and capitalism. But the outrage is the VP stands up and advocates “shared sacrifice”. The man values his protection but wants to be paid for housing that protection. OK, but do not tell Americans to give up their valued things so we can “share the nation’s pain”. Defending a hypocrite still makes him a hypocrite.

Sense gubmnt employees don’t pay taxes that would explain why they don’t want to leave. And the fact that previous tennant’s could possibly mean that his mother paid because who would he rent to other than someone that he had employed as a care taker or a mother that wasn’t aloud to live in the main house with so many bedrooms.Makes one wonder were his morals lie.

  • Carolyn

If he can charge the Secret Service rent, shouldn’t we charge him for the protection they provide? Just proves how petty and out of touch he is.

My thoughts exactly! Normally when you hire a live in body guard you pay them not only salary but also room and board! He should let them live there free of charge as they are essentially live in body guards.

The National Review’s Byron York takes a look at Joe and Jill Biden’s charitable giving, and the results, well, aren’t all that impressive. Think spare change. Total over 10 years: $3,690.
Per the NR, here is a chart of the Bidens’ giving for the years covered by the tax returns:

    Adjusted
    Gross Income Charity
    1998 $215,432 $195

    1999 $210,797 $120

    2000 $219,953 $360

    2001 $220,712 $360

    2002 $227,811 $260

    2003 $231,375 $260

    2004 $234,271 $380

    2005 $321,379 $380

    2006 $248,459 $380

    2007 $319,853 $995

Total Income=$2,450,042 Total donations to charity=$3,690

        @Time -

O’Biden, being so caught up in his generosity, wouldn’t want any mistakes in how large the amount was that he contributed to charity. (Personally, I think it most charitable of the unwashed, American masses to have put O’Biden in office, but that’s another matter entirely.) The amount quoted is $3690, not $3600. Wouldn’t want O’Biden’s true generosity to go unnoticed for the grand sum of an additional $90!

I’d love to see them live on 30k a year like most Americans. I know several companies here in town that haven’t given any of their regular employees a raise in over 3 years because of the economy. How about the government not get one too.

  • Jay

From the opening paragraph of a CNSNews.com article:

Vice President Joe Biden told people attending an AARP town hall meeting that unless the Democrat-supported health care plan becomes law the nation will go bankrupt and that the only way to avoid that fate is for the government to spend more money.

OK, so that’s not a direct quote from our esteemed Vice President. That’s just what the “journalist” decided to cast the story as. So, what did Joe say, in his own words? Read on:

“Well, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, I’m telling you.”

I remember the big joke of the dot.com days, where everybody and their brother was “selling each unit at a loss, but making it up in volume.” That mindset is what Biden’s quote reminds me of. “We’re going broke at the present level of spending, so we have to spend more to stop going broke.”

  • Jay

IS JOE Biden a racist? Much of the leftish blogosphere (example) thinks so, because he apparently said this to the New York Observer, of Barack Obama:

I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.

Now, one mild charge is that Mr Biden is racist in the mild, unconscious way that causes people to use words like “articulate” and “clean” when describing a black senator, when it would never occur to most people to use them to describe a white senator.

Is this charge true? Here’s Robert Guttman at the Huffington Post, describing two lily-white senators, one of whom carries the surname Biden:

Senator John McCain for the Republicans and Senator Joe Biden for the Democrats seem to be the most knowledgeable, articulate and concerned potential candidates who are speaking out on foreign policy issues…

What about “clean”? Here’s NPR, describing Sam Brownback as “Mr Clean”.

And “nice-looking”? Here’s a fan of John Edwards, praising his favourite candidate:

However, I thought JRE showed Sean and his audience that progressive Democrats can actually be nice looking, charismatic and smart, too. In fact, better looking, more charismatic and smarter than Sean.
Fortunately, Mr Obama was classy enough not to take offence:

I didn’t take Senator Biden’s comments personally, but obviously they were historically inaccurate. African-American presidential candidates like Jesse Jackson, Shirley Chisholm, Carol Moseley Braun and Al Sharpton gave a voice to many important issues through their campaigns, and no one would call them inarticulate.

But is Mr Obama even right in his analysis that Mr Biden called him the first articulate African-American politician, or presidential candidate? It depends on the analysis of what Mr Biden said. The crucial bit begins with “who is…” Is it what linguists call a restrictive clause, or is it a non-restrictive clause? In the restrictive interpretation, a major Democratic senator with 34 years of experience in the upper chamber was a big enough fool to say to a newspaper that Mr Obama was the first articulate (etc) big-time African-American.

I think Joe got the “story book man” part correct for once. Someone in all their fantasies of taking over and collapsing the greatest country on earth had to make Obama up from somewhere! Is he actually a clone from Soros? They look alike around the ears.

Sen. Barack Obama better not mess with his running mate Joe Biden’s guns…or else.

In an out-of-nowhere attempt to re-assure a southwestern Virginia labor crowd about gun owners’ rights, Biden — who regularly scores “F” ratings from the National Rifle Association — warned Obama that if “he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem.”

“I guarantee you Barack Obama ain’t taking my shotguns, so don’t buy that malarkey,” Biden said Saturday at the United Mine Workers of America’s annual fish fry in Castlewood, Virginia. “Don’t buy that malarkey. They’re going to start peddling that to you.”

Biden told the crowd that he himself is a gun owner. “I got two,” Biden said, “if he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem. I like that little over and under, you know? I’m not bad with it. So give me a break. Give me a break.”

    Joe Biden: Not a High-Priority al-Qaeda Target

    Sheriff Joe’s ego hardest hit.

Perhaps if he wasn’t such a useful idiot they’d be more inclined to go after him.

US officials have revealed that Osama bin Laden’s diaries contain the rather startling conclusion that he didn’t think Vice President Joe Biden was worth bumping off (hat tip: a tweet from my New York colleague Jon Swaine).

According to ProPublica, the Obama administration is briefing that Barack Obama was bin Laden’s the “top target” (no surprise there) while “military chiefs like the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the defense secretary” were also major scalps.

But Joe Biden’s scalp (hair plugs and all)? Apparently, not so much. A counterterrorism official said: “There is a note indicating that the vice president is not an important target because that position has less weight.”

To be fair, it seems that Uncle Joe was not mentioned by name and the al-Qaeda leader tied the comment to the constitutional weakness of the vice-presidency rather than the antics of the garrulous current occupant.

But one does suspect that bin Laden might have rather liked to have got Dick Cheney.

    • ValDM

      Jay,
When you refer to Sheriff Joe, it is commonly thought to be Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Mariposa county, AZ. Sheriff Joe Arpaio is heroic for his stance of punishment of offenders. Joe Biden doesn’t have the hair (pun intended) to lick the dust off Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s boots. You have deeply insulted Sheriff Joe by using his name in conjunction with this dog Biden. Shame on you.

Actually, Obama was the first to refer to Biden as the new sheriff in town. Since Biden’s first name is Joe, naturally, Sheriff Joe. Only you could have made the connection to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and point to an implied insult to Sherif Joe Arpaio on my part! Perhaps its, shame on you!

        • pegasis

Actually Jay, Sheriff Joe (Arpiao) has been going by that nickname since way before Obama and and his thugs were around. Just because a fool gives another fool a nickname, doesn’t make it so. A sheriff ( a good one) follows and enforces the laws of the land, even when they are unpopular with the socialists who don’t mind being invaded, such as Sheriff Joe does. This Biden person doesn’t know what the laws are, except in the context of how to break them without being caught, or buying your way out of facing the punishment.
On the original topic, I believe you will find that this is a case of conflict of interest, and double – dipping.

          • Altaica

Is that the sheriff I heard about that makes the convicts live in tents, wear pink and work? If it is he’s a great guy. That kind of reform would make a lot of people not want to spend time in jail and I’m all for it. They don’t deserve cable and luxuries like that. I work and follow the law and I can’t afford cable, why should my tax dollars pay for them. Thumbs up for the prison reformers that make criminals actually pay for their crimes!

        • Drawer22

          @ Jay -

No, ValDM ISN’T the only intelligent person who caught the thinly-veiled insult to Sheriff Arpaio by improperly connecting the “Sheriff Joe” moniker to the greedy under”sheriff” Uncle Joe in DC.

Somewhere in all my stuff, I have a Columbus Dispatch article written before the last wonderful election that somebody elected these two socialist idiots that Joe Biden was quoted that he was for the little people, that he was only worth $150,000.00, and he could relate to all the little peoples problems; words something like that. I thought maybe they left off a couple of zeros in the amount, but I never confirmed that.

  • Dave

The Clinton’s started this process, the SS guards them from a small “guard shack” built on the Clinton’s property to guard them and the rent the SS pays the Clinton’s covers the mortgage payments on their million dollar home.

How about the two people listed on public records as the owners of the Obama’s home in Chicago. Obama’s name is nowhere listed as owner at that address.

    • 45caliber

      All true.

    • Thinking About

More tabloid reporting, Clinton’s did not collect on guard shack. Double check your post with truthful information.

  • ladybug

So he charged his mother, who was his last tenant, $2200 per month?

  • Raggs

NOW wait a damm minute…. Isn’t the “secret service” funded by us?

So in other words this CLOWN is charging us for rent on top of our taxes to house the secret service?

Somebody PLEASE put this ass in jail!

    • Altaica

I think he should be paying the secret service for being there, not the other way around. They are there to protect his hide, so if he wants to be protected it should come out of his salary including the rental of the property.

    • Karolyn

I’m not backing him up on this, but it is not against the law.

What I love about this administration is they want to make the poor, the inept, the never accomplish anything our leaders. Just give it to them and they will follow. Who cares if they amount to anything or not. We will always have some other sucker to take from. You see that puts them totally in charge because no one will question and they can therefore do was they please.

This isn’t a surprise … he has the Clintons as an example. They pay their house payments with a $10,000 a month rent they charge the Secret Service who are guarding them. They provided a corner of their estate (for the rent) and the government built a house for their guards.

Why would the VP need protection from anybody (except maybe me) when he is so ineffectual? Now we all know that Obama is dangerous to America, but I pray for his safety everyday. A President Biden would be even worse. The guy is a bigger idiot than Obama/Bush put together.

    • 45caliber

I wouldn’t worry about Biden. I’m certain there is a CIA or FBI plan to insure he never gets sworn in if something should happen to Oblama. It goes straight to Pelousy even if she is no longer Speaker.

      • http://LibertyAlert Restell Svenha

NO, it doesn’t! It would go to Boehner if it didn’t go to O’Biden.

        • 45caliber

And you honestly believe that the Demos would allow the position to go to a Republican? I seriously doubt it!

  • jopa

I am sure he will have to claim this on his income taxes and that will put him in a higher bracket so they should have a lower rate.Lucky Joe.Kinda like Michelle Bachman with all those farm subsidies and her husband collecting government funding with his pray away the gay clinic that isn’t even licensed. You know the clinic and farm subsidies we are not supposed to ask her questions about.

    • 45caliber

Are you sure you aren’t getting her mixed up with Pelousy’s deal where she gets unlimited water for her grape vineyards while the rest of the local farmers have to pray for rain due to some fish?

Thanks for the reminder, Jopa. I thought she was one of the farm subsidy recipients. When she was asked about cutting farm subsidies a while back, she dodged the question.

      • bob wire

Bachmann is very proficient at ducking and dodging.

I really can’t blame her much, I wouldn’t want to discuss these topics either if I were her.

Publicly Bachmann is in for a penny, in for a pound with the Tea Party Crowd. 100% baptized in the blood, born again, seen the light!

Privately she is just like most American’s, kitchen table pocket book matters comes first and foremost, screw ideology.

What she says and supports and what she does offers us great conflict, a divide that’s too wide to jump.

I don’t know how she going to wiggle out of that corner but to her favor, the Tea Party crowd is willing to go blind and not see it.

Washington, DC– Vice-President Joe Biden has checked into a local hospital for an unusual operation. The silly Veep is having a head transplant done with an head of lettuce, purchased from a local produce store. Biden’s current head was recently discovered to be a pimple. The wacky Biden hopes the new head will both improve his looks and his IQ.

“Does lettuce have hair?? I know yams have hair, maybe I should have a yam head instead.” said the Vice-President to himself. “I thought about Romaine lettuce, but I thought it would make me look too tall.” said the moron.

Dr. Groucho Quack performed the transplant early this afternoon, and gave the Vice-President a mirror to see the results.

“Oh, I look so green! The environmentalists will like that!” exclaimed Slow Joe, as he gazed at his new reflection.

Dr. Quack then performed an IQ test on the Veep. The results were as expected, Slow Joe still had an IQ of zero.

“Oh, I don’t mind. I think if I had an IQ it would give me a headache”. said the fool.

Dr. Quack released Joe Biden from the hospital late this afternoon. The silly Veep was last seen at a local grocery store buying tomatoes and salad dressing.

  • EmilyC

It is my understanding that the Clintons charge the SS rent for cottages on their property, still, also! Isn’t this also wrong? If this were a republican this info about Biden and/or Clinton would have landed them in trial and jail by now. AND, why don’t we hear anything about Maxine Waters or Charlie Rangel ? Just which swamp did Nazi Pelosi intend to drain?

    • Karolyn

I wonder if former Republican presidents do the same.

      • bob wire

Being conservatives and all, they have them a house build on property on federal dollar so they won’t have to pay rent and then bulldoze it down when the operation is over Karolyn.

        Sounds about right.

Joe Biden: War Without Congressional Approval Warrants Impeachment (Video) …Update: Pelosi Too
Posted by Jim Hoft on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 5:37 AM

    Unless you’re a democrat.
Joe Biden says war without congressional approval warrants impeachment.
Wolf Files dug up this Biden speech from 2007, via Instapundit.

“I want to make it clear. And I made it clear to the President that if he takes this nation to war with Iran without Congressional approval. I will make it my business to impeach him. That’s a fact. That is a fact.”

What an ugly man this is. He spews hatred at the repub, especially the Tea Party, he charges his MOTHER rent, and charges rent to the people who are charged with his security.

What a Jackass, may GOD show him the faults in his ways. The Bible says “Honor thy Mother and thy Father” not profit from them.

  • Kevin Beck

What a parasite! This clown should be collecting the same amount from the Secret Service as he collected from his mother.

On second thought, that might not be a good idea. He was probably charging her $5000 a month.

  • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Steve Tanner

That’s a level of arrogance I find hard to conceive of! Where’s the Justice Department on this? Is there not a Federal Prosecutor with a sense of Right and Wrong out there? Do we need further evidence of what these parasites think of us?

This is no suprise. The Pres. does not have a budget, he just dips into every other department funds. For example the cost of flying Air Force One cost in excess of $35,000 PER HOUR and that does not incluse the extra aircrafts to carry his car and make side trips to smaller airports. Then he tells he Armed Forces to cut back.

    • bob wire

yea, ~ but is comes with the job of all sitting Presidents doesn’t it? They not flown common carrier since the 50′s and they have always told the military what to do.

  • Raggs

Ok so who the hell here is surprized by the corruption?
Thats your part if you are…

Americas part is the rid of oblama.

    • bob wire

I suppose we could get rid of the position all together and conduct national business through the Post Office. The Post Master could run the whole show.

  • bob wire

Hmm?, sounds like a sweet deal for Joe. At that price I would think it would include private entrance, covered parking for at least two cars, hot and cold running women. Did I say that? ~ Water!

I suppose Joe and his wife could let them bunk down on the sofa or maybe set up a tent in the yard. One of those nice ones ~ with a insect nested foyer and flap widows on three sides.

If this arrangement “is” as stated, you might stop to consider the housing demand is there regardless, ~ that it “is” and “was” marketable lease real estate at the current market price. I see no fault or foul. Joe will lease it to “somebody” and good neighbors are precious when you are lucky enough to have them.

While I see no impropriety, I do see it as a point of contention and not without suspicion but excellent material employed in the manufacture of political hay. But it’s not like he’s showing women his pee pee on the internet but news fodder.

  • Doug Rodrigues

The situation reflects on Biden’s ethics, or lack of.

  • http://LibertyAlert Restell Svenha

Just because O’Biden is Vice President doesn’t mean that he isn’t corrupt. Anyone who has served more than two terms in the Senate or the House is a corrupt as a 3 dollar bill. All Senate and house terms should be limited to two terms; just long enough to become corrupt but short enough that they can’t do any real damage. Becoming vice President gives them carte Blanche to become even more corrupt.

  • Toomuchsense

Typical liberal. Check out his charitable donation for the last 15 years, not including the last two. He’s a typical hypocrite = liberal = democrat.

This transaction seems to be in order. The previous tenant to the secret service also paid $2200 monthly rent of which Biden claimed on his taxes. Now let us get onto some serious problems and get over accusing in a vicious manner.
