Benghazi Mistakes

December 28, 2012 by

Report confirms Benghazi mistakes. Well, it took more than three months, but the State Department finally released the results of an internal investigation into what actually happened during the Sept. 11 attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya. It concluded that our ambassador and three other Americans died as a result of “systemic failures” and “leadership and management deficiencies” at senior levels within the State Department. The report also rejected the now-discarded explanation, put forward by U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice and President Barack Obama, that the attack was the result of protests against an anti-Islamic film.

Another unConstitutional assault on our freedoms. An amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act cosponsored by Senators Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) was designed to guarantee Americans charged under the legislation the right to due process and a jury trial. It passed the Senate last month by a 67 to 29 vote. However, the safeguards were removed before the final vote, Paul reports, adding, “The idea of throwing American citizens in jail without being charged or given a jury trial goes against every principle this country was founded on.” Although Paul and a handful of others voted against the final version, the measure passed the Senate on an 81-14 vote.

So much for Obama’s mandate. Here’s an interesting stat from the 2012 Presidential election. It would have taken just a switch of 381,000 votes, or 0.003 percent of the total 126 million votes cast, to make Mitt Romney president instead of Barack Obama. Yes, that was the total margin of victory Obama enjoyed in four key States: Ohio, Virginia, Florida and Iowa. Had Romney won them instead of Obama, he’d be heading to the White House in January.

Making money finding “the disabled.” Remember Johnnie Cochran, the lawyer who successfully defended O.J. Simpson? Now there are 30 law offices around the country bearing his name that are helping people get on disability. “Denied disability? Call The Firm,” reads one of their billboards. Is it any wonder that in the past four years, the number of people on disability has risen more than seven times faster than the number of people finding jobs? “You get what you pay for,” Milton Friedman used to say. If you pay people to be disabled, it should come as no surprise that you’ll get a lot more of them.

BULLLLLLLLCRAP! I am NOT buying it! More Washington D.C. hogwash!! Where was the Military protection? Where were the troops? Say what you want but I do not believe this is true, and even if it were true, why have an embassey attacked and 4 men killed for a film!! That’s American soil as an Embassey and that’s an attack on the U.S.A. Ronald Reagan would have kicked their assssssssses! Of course, Obama does nothing and emboldens these people!

    • Bill

      I agree with you, Homer
Reagan would not have put up with this. He was a real leader who believed in America.

Now let’s see what sort of revisionist history the liberal posters come up with concerning Reagan.

I don’t believe that anything this administration does has positive consequences. Nor do I believe that anything it supports has any value for the average American citizen. But I do believe that Barack Hussein Obama is a closet Muslim or an out and out Muslim supporter. I also believe that he would sell every American citizen down the river if it would help the cause of the Muslim Brotherhood. Why is he this way? Because he hates America and all non-liberal Americans.

How old is war? Our administration ether has chosen to ignore the lessons, or are so arrogant to believe that whatever we say the world will follow because president Obama is such a great leader.
    God help America.

One AC-130 Spectre gunship detached from Italy could have cleaned out the attackers and saved 4 brave men. But we wouldn’t want to get in the way of BO’s theory of a peaceful transition in Libya and Egypt. I hope this issue leads to his impeachment and haunts him and Hillary to their graves.

  • anon

Sharia law is the law in Egypt…and BO is going to send them OUR very best fighter planes FREE OF CHARGE … I would say that he is DEFINITELY a Muslim supporter….granted he made the deal with the previous Egyptian administration but the Muslim Brotherhood took over Egypt…if it were my doing I wouldn’t give our Enemies the planes for them to use against us….!!!!!
I think that he is out to destroy the USA any and all ways possible!!!!

I think that your president is a lier, like the frog Clinton; never this man would not be reelected.
Is it true you had fraud in some states where you can vote without any identity???

    • gunner689AI

Aaron; you’re probably correct about fraudulant voting but nothing will be done about it. It should be fixed Now, well before the next election and some liberal judge side-tracks the laws again. Make it a felony with heavy fines and mandatory jail time to knowingly commit voter fraud. The real problem is that we’ve reached the tipping point where there are more people riding in the wagon than people pushing it. Those people, the entitlement crowd, isn’t about to get out and help push. They’ll vote for anyone who allows them to leech on society, Stalin, Lennin, Clinton, BO. The country be damned. I’m afraid it’s either going to take another revolution to get this country back on track or we will watch America slowly dissapear into the night.

Hillary stood up and said she takes credit errr, responsibility,(blame, the buck stops there} with her.
Then, President Obama says No , He is responsible(takes credit, bucks stops w/ him, he runs the show, etc)
Treason is what they are admitting to. How do we, the people, get protected from treasonous leaders who are setting a course for the demise of the Republic For Which our flag stands, and thousands of good and great patriots have died??

We, the people, must not accept this any longer. It must end. Anybody have any idea how, where, when, how much?
Demand action by our elected officials, if they’re too busy, march on Washington like they’ve never seen the sheeple turn to wolves!!
